----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore walked into Barnes and Noble with determined strides, a purse over her shoulder. She had received a call that the book she had ordered---an old copy of a Jack London collection---had finally arrived and so here she was. Jack London was a good author and anytime she had a chance to get her hands on his work, she took it. Which was why she had ordered it and was now here. To be perfectly honest, she hadn't expected this particular book store to be able to find it, but they had so here she was. She walked up to the counter and smiled at the woman behind the counter. "How may I help you?" the woman asked. "My name's Lenore Wainwright and I got a call that my Jack London book arrived," she replied. "Oh, yes. It's right here," the other woman stated and got the book from the back and handed it to her. Lenore set her purse down on the counter, opened it up, got her wallet out as the woman gave her the price, handed over her card, and then waited. As she waited, she took a quick glance around and saw a couple of people giving her strange looks. What? They've never seen someone wearing tie-dye before? she wondered. Okay, granted, the pink and blue tie-dye shirt wasn't her usual style, but honestly, she had just felt like a change, so she had grabbed that shirt as well as a pair black jeans and brown ankle boots. Once her card went through, the woman handed the piece of plastic to the vampire who put it back into her purse and then headed for another section of the store. Hey, just because she had made the purchase she had come here for, didn't mean that she couldn't do a little more shopping. Who knew, maybe she'd run into Becky again. That could be interesting. She had liked talking to the girl and wouldn't mind having another conversation with her. OOC I've actually done that, bought a book and then went back for more. -----------------------

Charlie walked into the book store and looked around. Her goal was to buy the rest of the epic adventures of Sam and Dean Winchester. Her friend Becky turned her on to the books and she wanted to meet them so badly, she wanted to help them solve a case and maybe someday her name can be printed in a Supernatural novel, that would be so cool in her mind, but for now she just wanted to read up on the rest of the stuff they did. It was also research, she had to find out what was out there in order to keep her precious Satsu safe.
Granted, Satsu could more then handle herself, but the thought of her girlfriend out there fighting god knows what haunted Charlie's dreams. She approached the fiction section, giggling a little to herself, if these people only knew the truth about stuff going bump in the night and the Winchester's bumping back. She finally found them, she had bought the first 3 a few weeks back at the comic book store when she met Becky, but today, she wanted to buy the rest of them, she counted how many there were and did the math in her head.
170 bucks for the rest of them, good thing she got paid yesterday. There was one good thing about having that I.T. Girl job, is she can afford whatever she wanted to get. She picked up the books and placed them in her basket that she had picked up when she entered the store. She turned around and nearly ran into another girl. "I'm so sorry." Charlie told her after nearly taking the other girls head off. "I'm a klutz, I almost messed up my girlfriends leg the other day pretty bad in a training accident." Charlie said with a smile, Satsu was fine of course, but Charlie would of hated herself if she broke her girls knee.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore had started in the romance section and after finding a few books that had appealed to her, went into the fiction section, glancing at a few titles before dismissing them. Fiction stories had really gotten weird in the last decade: full of aliens, vampires, etc. Not that she minded some of the vampire stories, but a lot of them just seemed to glorify being a vampire, and while she admitted that there was a certain allure to being what she was, it wasn't really all that it was hyped up to be. A lot of stories now had vampires and humans falling for one another which resulted in the human wanting to be turned. And that wasn't how it generally was. Oh she supposed, that in some rare occasions that it happened, but usually a person was turned against their will. Well, at least that's how it had happened with her. One moment, she had been staying with someone who called himself her friend and the next moment, he was mixing their blood and turning her. Seriously, who did that!? She wouldn't ever do that! Eli and the others wouldn't do that! Okay, she had to calm down. That had been a long time ago and that vampire was dead and gone. And in her opinion, it was good riddance to bad rubbish. And apparently, she had mentally drifted more than she thought, for before she knew it, she had bumped into someone. "Sorry. I'm such a klutz," she apologized, even as the other person---a female apparently---did the same, saying that she was a klutz and that she had nearly wrecked her girlfriend's leg in a training accident. "No, really. It was my fault," she insisted. "Sorry about that," she apologized again. This was just embarrassing. She was supposed to be a vampire, and yet, here she was bumping into people. Not very smooth. Not very smooth at all. This woman probably thought she was a total dork for bumping into her like that. OOC I have a feeling that this is gonna be fun. -----------------------

Charlie just smiled at her. "Well, maybe we are both klutzes." She replied at the other women tried to take the blame for bumping into her. Charlie liked meeting new people when they seemed to be as awkward as her, her kinda people. It was hard to get along with people different from her, as they always seemed so hard to approach, and the only reason she was able to get Satsu to agree to be her girlfriend was cause of the extreme physical attraction she felt almost instantly. She could talk to a fellow nerd, geek or dork any day of the week.
"Don't worry about it." Charlie spoke to her, maybe Charlie was coming out of her shell a little more since she met Satsu and found it easy to talk to the other women as well, either way, Charlie was glad that she bumped into her as she wanted to meet someone today. She only had a few close friends and Satsu had a ton of friends. Sure it wasn't a contest or anything, but she didn't want Satsu to think that she was socially awkward, though she kinda was socially awkward. so she was trying to impress Satsu with her ability to make friends.
"I'm Charlie, whats your name?" Charlie spoke to her, hoping that she would want to chat back. She wasn't sure why, but the other girl seemed to be uncomfortable with the meeting. Charlie became nervous because she thought that it was because she admitted instantly to being a lesbian. Some people didn't feel comfortable around people who were openly gay. It was a sad truth about the world, and Charlie just sighed. "I"m sorry if I made you uncomfortable by having a girlfriend." Charlie said to her turning to walk away, she hated when people judged you cause of something like that. She didn't hate the person, it wasn't their fault about how society was now a days.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore smiled as the woman suggested that they were both klutzes. "So it would seem," she said. "But now that I've nearly run you over, it's nice to meet you," she introduced herself, opting to go for a small joke in order to release some of the potential tension. Hey, making things easier for the other woman was the least that she could do after the rude way they had met. After all, who liked people bumping into them? Certainly not her, and she wouldn't be surprised if this woman felt the same way. The vampire's smile grew as the other woman told her not to worry about it. "Okay, I won't then," she agreed. I'm so glad she's not mad, she thought to herself. She wasn't sure what she would've done if the other woman had been mad. Would she have gotten angry as well or would she have been hurt and confused? Oh, well. No sense in dwelling on something that hadn't even happened. But she was grateful that that their accident hadn't caused a scene as that would've just been embarrassing. Then the woman introduced herself as Charlie and asked for her name. "Nice to meet you, Charlie. I'm Lenore," she responded. She had to admit, she didn't think she'd ever get used to the idea of girls having a boy's name, but she could usually just push the thought aside. And apparently her mental drifting had Charlie thinking that she had made her uncomfortable at the mention of a girlfriend, for she apologized for making her uncomfortable and started to walk away. "No! You didn't make me uncomfortable at all," Lenore assured, going to dart in front of her. "I have a girlfriend myself," she explained. "I just have this bad habit of mentally drifting away sometimes. Sorry," she apologized. Well, that was sort of true. It wasn't like she did it often, but she'd rather have Charlie thinking that she was an airhead than thinking that she had been offended by something that really had no impact on her. -----------------------

"Yeah, well at least you stuck around at the scene of the accident and didn't hit and run." Charlie told her with a smile. She seemed nice enough, but that didn't mean she was nice. Charlie would have to do a bit of research on her, asking her questions, get to know her better, before she made up her mind, there was no way that Charlie would just trust her willy nilly without getting to know her first, not now, not that she knows the truth about what is out there and any person could be a supernatural being that meant Charlie some serious harm.
"Nice to meet you too, Lenore, what a lovely name." Charlie told Lenore with a smile, glad to finally know who she almost ran head on into's first name. The girl seemed to have good manners too, so that was a plus, plus she was in a library and in the fiction section, so how bad could Lenore be? If Charlie found out she was a vampire, she would probably freak out on her, but other then that, unless she was a serial killer, everything was gonna be just fine between the two of them. Charlie has not had good experiences with Vampires yet and couldn't trust them.
"Really, well its nice to meet a fellow lesbian." Charlie told her, Charlie was not shy at all when it came to liking women, if people didn't like her for it, that was their problem. It was the only thing she wasn't shy about, and she didn't understand why some people thought it was wrong. "Maybe we can go on an all girl double date sometime and swap girlfriends." Charlie said with a chuckle, clearly meaning it as only a joke. She would never let someone else have Satsu, even for one night, nor would she ever dare to dream about sleeping with another girl. She loved Satsu and that was that. Nothing was gonna change that.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore smiled as the girl joked back, saying that at least she had stuck around and hadn't turned it into a hit and run. Yes! She understood that it was just a joke, she thought to herself. She wasn't sure what she would've done if she hadn't realized that she was joking. "Yeah, not really my style," she told her. "I'd rather take responsibility for my actions," she assured her. And it was true. If she was responsible for something, she'd own up to it and take the consequences. Heck, it wasn't like anything humans could do to her would actually hurt. So yeah, she could deal. But she could also see the other woman's point. Most people would've just hit bumped into someone and then kept going. They wouldn't have stopped and apologized. It was really one of the more unattractive things about this era. Lenore grinned as Charlie as Charlie said it was nice to meet her and complimented her on her name, saying that it was lovely. "Thank you. Your name's nice too," she said. And it was. Okay, so it was usually a guy's name, but hey, who was she to judge? Besides, she was sure to hear weirder names for girls than Charlie. And besides, a name was just a name. It didn't mean anything. And besides, it was nice to meet new people. New people made life interesting. And sometimes a little scary, but that was pretty few and far between. Okay, moving on. The vampire's grin grew as the other woman said that it was nice to meet a fellow lesbian. "Yeah, it can get a bit lonely, can't it?" she queried. At least today same sex relationships weren't as taboo as they were back when she was human. Heck, back then, it wasn't even thought of and she wouldn't have been able to mention liking another girl, as she probably would've been burned at the stake or something. At the mention of a double-date and swapping girlfriends, Lenore nodded and then shook her head. "Yes, on the double date, no on the swapping," she replied. Willow was all hers. No one else got to touch the witch, just her. -----------------------

"If that is the case, I can tell we are gonna be really good friends." Charlie replied to Lenore. Charlie respected someone that owned up to their responsibilities and did the right thing, as that is what Charlie always did. So Lenore being a good person like that meant that maybe her and Charlie would be able to get along really well. Lenore then complimented Charlie on her own name, Charlie smiled at Lenore over it, she probably thought it was weird that it was a boys name really, but Charlie never thought about it like that, she liked having Charlie as her name.
"Thanks, it was my fathers name." Charlie told her, hoping she would understand why she was named Charlie. Lenore then responded to her about it being nice to meet another lesbian. Charlie nodded, it did get lonely and it felt like everyone was against them. Even now a days kids were so afraid to come out and Charlie has so many relationships end because of it, it was why she was so open and she expected her girlfriend Satsu to be open about it too, Charlie loved Satsu regardless, but it would make things hard if Satsu was in the closet and wasn't open.
Thank god Satsu wasn't like that and she allowed Charlie to hold and kiss and touch her in public a number of times already and didn't get upset over it and told her to stop. "Tell me about it, you would think people would just get over it, but it seems like that just have to find something to complain about." Charlie told Lenore. She could tell Lenore was open about it and didn't worry, which was good. "Is your girl open about it as well, I can't be with someone if they are in the closet, if you don't mind sharing." Charlie asked her with a smile.
"Hehe, good, I would never let you or your girl touch Satsu, she is all mine." Charlie told her with a smile, to show her that she was only kidding. "What is your girlfriends name, if you don't mind me asking." Charlie asked her, she was glad she came here today.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore smiled as Charlie stated that she had the vampire would make really good friends. That was good. She wanted to be friends. She needed some around here. Oh, she was friends with Willow of course, but she was the girlfriend and she needed some regular friends. And from what she was gathering, Charlie would make a good one. And from the expression on the other woman's face, it was clear that she was pleased with the vampire's opinion about her name. Sure it was a little weird to name a girl after a boy, but at least it wasn't something completely weird like Jermajesty. Seriously, what had Jermaine Jackson been thinking naming his son that? It was just asking for trouble in her own opinion. Hearing that Charlie had been her father's name, Lenore smiled. "And they named you after him," she surmised. "That's always an honor, being named after your parents," she continued. And a little hard to live up to, but she had a feeling that if anyone could do it, Charlie could. She just seemed to have a strength about her, somewhat like Willow. Willow. Yeah, she'd definitely love to meet this woman. She then nodded as the other woman agreed with her about the loneliness, saying that one would think people would get over people gay, but it seemed like they just needed things to complain about. "Yeah, I'll say," she commented. I'm surprised humans have lasted this long with that way of thinking, she thought to herself. But they had survived, so that was a point in their favor she supposed. At the question, of whether or not Willow was out, saying that she couldn't be with someone who was in the closet, Lenore nodded. "Yeah, she's out," she responded. "She wanted me to meet her friends so..." her voice trailed off as she shrugged. Lenore then chuckled as Charlie stated that it was good that she hadn't agreed to the swap as she wouldn't let her or Willow touch Satsu who was all hers. "Understandable. I feel the same way," she assured. Then the other woman asked her girlfriend's name. "Willow," she replied, a grin curving her features. Willow. Just saying her name made her feel all tingly inside. "If you don't mind me asking, when did you realize that you liked girls instead of guys?" she wondered. OOC Yes, I referenced Jermaine Jackson's kid. It just fit the post. Me neither. -----------------------

"Well, you can say that." Charlie said softly. They didn't name her after her father, she named herself after her father. Charlie didn't talk about her parents with very many people, in fact, as far as Satsu knew, Charlie never had any parents. It was a difficult topic for Charlie to talk about but she tried her best to smile at Lenore. "He um, died in a car accident. I legally changed my name to Charlie." She told her, she never mentioned this to anyone ever, it never really came up. The truth was, Charlie was surprised more people didn't ask her about it.
Charlie didn't feel like talking about her mother right now and what happened to her, not to a complete stranger anyways, but getting the truth about her dad off her chest made her feel better. Maybe she could tell her sob story to Satsu now, now that she had a little more courage about it. "Yeah, my girlfriend wants me to meet her friends too, she assures me they will like me, but I dunno. They all seem to be so... cool, and I am a nerd." Charlie told her with a smile, the only one she was confident in meeting was Xander, but other then him.
"I was suppose to meet her best friend the other day, but she never showed." Charlie added, sad that Buffy couldn't make it, but otherwise, it ended up being a good thing, as it gave Charlie and Satsu some time alone. "Willow?" Charlie said, she heard that name before. "I think my girlfriend knows a Willow, maybe they could be the same person?" Charlie asked, it would be a weird coincidence, but it was possible. Maybe Charlie was meeting one of Satsu's friends right now. "You don't know Satsu do you?" She asked Lenore curiously.
"Well, I guess instantly?" Charlie said with a shrug. "Pretty much the first time I laid my eyes on this girl in my class in middle school, I knew that I liked girls. To bad me and her never got together, I didn't get my first girlfriend till my mid teens, and by then there was no mistaking it, I was completely gay. I have never had a boyfriend, and really don't ever want one." Charlie told her truthfully. She didn't know exactly when it happened, but all throughout her childhood, she just sort of knew that she liked girls.

----------------------- ----------------------- After her comment, Lenore noticed that Charlie grew quiet, even as she said that she supposed one could say that it was an honor. Okay, apparently I said something wrong, she thought to herself. Dang it. She hadn't meant to! Hearing that her father had died in a car accident and that she had legally changed her name after that, the vampire's face grew sad. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up a bad memory," she apologized. And she hadn't. She was just trying to make conversation, not make her feel bad. She then nodded in understanding as the other woman stated that her girlfriend also wanted her to meet her friends, assuring her that they'd like her, though she admitted that she wasn't sure as she was a nerd and that they seemed so cool. "I can understand that. I'm a little nervous about meeting her friends myself," she stated. Of course, it didn't help matters that she apparently looked like Willow's ex. How were they all going to take that? Would they think that she was trying to manipulate Willow? She wasn't of course, but she wouldn't be able to blame them if the thought crossed their minds. Hearing that the other woman was supposed meet her girl's best friend, but that the woman hadn't showed, Lenore looked at Charlie sympathetically. "That sucks," she stated. And it really did. But Charlie didn't seem to upset by it, which she could understand as it just probably meant that she got her girlfriend all to herself, which in Lenore's mind was always a plus. And apparently, the name seemed to strike a chord in the other woman, for she repeated the name, saying that she thought that her girlfriend knew a Willow, wondering if they could be the same person, asking her if she knew someone named Satsu. Lenore shook her head. "No, the name doesn't sound familiar," she answered. At her question of when she realized that she liked girls, Charlie answered that it had been instant, relating a time that she had seen a girl in middle school, though nothing had ever happened between them, that she hadn't gotten her first girlfriend in her mid-teens, and that she had never had a boyfriend and didn't want one. "Yeah, that's pretty much how it was for me too. But mind you, that was three hundred years ago, so I couldn't really tell anyone," she stated. And that was certainly the truth. If she had even hinted that she liked another woman, they probably would've burned her at the stake or something. So yeah, not admitting her preferences back then had been a good idea. -----------------------

"It's ok, it happened a long time ago." Charlie told her, she didn't think about it often, but just talking about certain things usually reminded her of it. She tried to avoid it at all costs, but something simple, like her favorite book, The Hobbit, or her favorite movie, Star Wars: A New Hope, also brought out these memories. If not for her mother, Charlie would never have discovered the world of nerdy things, and she would be just a normal girl, and now her mother was... Charlie didn't even want to think about it, least of all right now.
"I know right, Satsu thinks I am perfect and collected, but her friends, what if they expose my flaws to her, and what if she dislikes me for it?" Charlie told her, that was her biggest concern, if Satsu's friends didn't like her then Satsu wouldn't want to be with her anymore. It would never go down like that and Charlie knew Satsu wouldn't treat her like that, but it was still a fear. "Thanks for listening to my first world problems." Charlie told her with a smile, Lenore was really nice and she wished she knew that Satsu's friends were gonna be this nice as well.
"Hmmm, how many Willow's could be in the greater Richmond area?" Charlie asked her with a giggle. Charlie did in fact know the odds off of the top of her head were pretty slim. Willow was far from a common name, and Charlie didn't know much about her, only that she was a witch." Do you... believe in supernatural stuff." Charlie asked her, she didn't want to blab that Willow was a witch until Lenore told her or not that she believed in that stuff, she wasn't about to throw Willow, someone she never met before, under a bus.
"300 years ago? You don't look a day over 30." Charlie told her half teasing, but then she thought about it. 300, was this girl lying, crazy, or telling the truth? Lying then she needed to come up with better lies, crazy, Charlie can handle crazy, but telling the truth. Telling the truth would make her a... a... "You are a..." Charlie said taking a step backwords, the word didn't dare leave her lips, Charlie tripped over something, she wasn't sure what, a bookcase she guessed, but it didn't matter, she had been talking about personal stuff with a vampire.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore nodded as Charlie said that it was okay as her father had died a long time ago. "But I bet it still hurts sometimes," she commented. Even though her family and friends had died long ago, she still missed them at times as there were still certain triggers that reminded her of them. So yeah, she wouldn't be surprised if Charlie still sometimes missed her father. Then Charlie mentioned her fears about meeting Satsu's friends, wondering what she would do if they exposed her flaws to her girlfriend. "I'm sure she'll love you no matter what," she assured. Of course, she was wondering the same thing when it came to Willow. What if her friends didn't like her or found out that she hadn't always fed on animals? They'd probably convince the witch that she was too dangerous to be around and she wasn't sure what she'd do if that happened. She didn't want Willow to think that she was dangerous because she wasn't. Not anymore. When Charlie thanked her for listening to her problems, Lenore gave her a smile. "No problem. It's what I'm here for," she told her. At the mention of Willow's name, the other woman giggled and asked how many Willows could be in Richmond and Lenore had to admit, she had a point. It wasn't like "Willow" was a common name. Then, she grinned as the other woman asked her if she believed in the Supernatural. "Yes, I do," she answered. And how could she not? She was a vampire and Willow was a witch. But maybe Charlie didn't know that Willow was a witch and just thought the Supernatural was just a fantasy-type thing. As soon as she mentioned being three hundred years old, Lenore gave a small wince. She had just totally screwed up. Or maybe she hadn't. At first, Charlie just laughed it off, saying that she didn't look a day over thirty, obviously thinking that she was joking. "I know. I look good, don't I?" she asked with her own laugh. But then, it appeared that Charlie had put two and two together and took a step back as she started stammering. "Yes, I'm a vampire, but I'm not going to hurt you," she assured. Dang it. I didn't mean to scare her, she thought to herself. Things had been going so well and now she had just screwed it up. -----------------------

"Yeah, it sucks that I can't introduce my girlfriend to my father, he would of liked her." Charlie said, that's when it stung the most, was when she thought about her father when it came to Satsu. Satsu is the love of her life, and she can't even share her with, really anyone. But more then that, she really needed him growing up, sure she isn't a bad person, but having her father around to give her advice, and even her mother would of been a huge help. They would of never judged her for being her and would of supported her no matter what.
"Thanks, I just love her so much that I would hate if something pushes us apart." Charlie told her. Charlie thought that Satsu would never hurt her like that, but there was always a chance that, once she realizes that Charlie is not perfect as Satsu thinks, then who knows what might happen and it was a scary thought. Charlie smiled at her, she was glad that she met Lenore today as she was a really good listener. "You are a good listener, I bet you have heard that a million times." Charlie told Lenore truthfully, she needed friends like Lenore.
Charlie smiled. "Like what? Ghosts? Werewolfs? Witches? Vampires?" Charlie asked her, wondering what Satsu believed in. Charlie knew all those things, and a whole lot more were real, were 100% real. Charlie both hated and liked the fact that she knew. She hated it cause it was downright scary. She was worried of dying of tripping and cracking her head. Now she had to worry about stuff eating her. But she liked it cause if it wasn't real, if vampires weren't a thing, she would of never hooked up with Satsu and met the girl that she loved so much.
Her question was answered instantly. Lenore did believe in vampires... more then that, she was one of them. Charlie felt her body overcome with fear, Satsu wasn't here this time to save her if it came to that and Charlie was far from an expert on fighting vampires, on defending herself. If Lenore wanted to, she had Charlie dead to rights right now and Charlie just froze and it caused her to trip. Lenore said that she wasn't gonna hurt her, but Satsu said all vampires were bad, that you couldn't trust them. "How can I trust you? A vampire tried to kill me once." Charlie told her, clear fear in her voice. She kept her voice low for now as she didn't want to cause a panic or sound like a maniac but she would scream bloody murder if she had to, not that anyone would be able to rescue her if she did, not against a vampire.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore nodded in understanding as Charlie said that it sucked that she couldn't introduce her girlfriend to her father as he would've loved her. "How could he not when you do?" she asked. Then, "He was okay with your choice?" she asked. Not that she hadn't heard of it happening, but even in this day and age, it seemed to be pretty rare. But maybe that was just her. She could readily admit that her tendency to hide even when living among humans had isolated her from what would constitute as "Normal customs". For all she knew, parents probably did accept an alternative lifestyle if their child desired it. And if that was the case, Lenore approved of this trend wholeheartedly. She then gave the other woman a sympathetic look as she said that she loved her girlfriend so much that she would hate it if anything pushed them apart. "I can understand that," she murmured. And she could as she felt the same way about Willow. She'd hate it if something caused her and Willow to break up. True they hadn't been dating for very long, but she just loved the witch so much that she didn't want to run the risk of losing her, whether she changed her mind about her or something drove them apart. No, that wouldn't be fun at all. At the comment that she was a good listener, Lenore smiled at her. "Thanks. I'm glad you think so," she said. "And I don't hear that as often as you think," she responded. But to be fair, she didn't usually make small talk with people. But after meeting Willow, she had decided to at least try to be more social. At Charlie's question of what she believed in listing off ghosts, witches, werewolves, and vampires, Lenore nodded. "All of them. I believe in all of them," she answered. Heck, you couldn't live for three hundred years and not run across a few of each, plus the fact that she had grown up in a time where superstition ran rampant. So yeah, she believed. In fact, she had believed in all of those things before she had been betrayed and turned. Okay, she wasn't going to go down that road. She had dismissed that memory from her thoughts long ago and she was going to keep it that way. Seeing Charlie's look of fear made Lenore wince. She hadn't meant to scare her. They had just been talking so casually that she had forgotten that the two of them were meeting for the first time. She had tried to assure her that she wouldn't hurt her, but the other woman retorted that Satsu had told her that all vampires were bad and that one had tried to kill her. "I drink animal blood. I don't feed off of humans," she said. And it's absolutely disgusting, she thought to herself. But hey, she wasn't going to say that. She was trying to reassure Charlie, not scare her further. Of course, that didn't seem to be working so far... -----------------------
