------------------ [/b]  ------------------[/b] Jade was still trying to get a feel for this town again, it had been a while that she had been here. But one thing she did remember is how much she loved the Richmond Community center, she remembered all the times that She would take Elena and Jeremy there. All the fun that they would have, all the hours they would just stay there. Which made her remember that she did need to get in touch with her see how she was doing, she had to be 18 by now. She just hoped she didnt tell her family were she was, she didn't need her mom and dad coming up there giving her the third degree. But they had became pretty close when she baby sat her, so she knew that Elena wouldn't say a thing. But then again maybe they wouldn't mind they were always so busy with there jobs to the point they didn't seem to care. But then again they might not be so happy with the fact Jade had just left with out a care. But she had her reasons, keeping her family safe was all that matter at that time.
Getting out of the car she walked into the Richmond Community center amazed at how big it was, they had expanded and changed it since she had been here that was for sure. She walked over to the desk asking the woman for a application, so she gave it to her along with a pen. She found a place taking a seat quickly filling it out, she knew this place would be good with her going to school so she had to take it. Plus it seemed they were pretty flexible with peoples schedule so she knew it would work. After she was done she handed the paper to the lady giving back her pen as well. "Thanks so much." She told her before walking away.
She then noticed that it seemed like they were having band additions so she though she would check it out, she was always into and loved music she just never went anywhere with it seeing that she couldn't sing. She found a table taking a seat maybe hoping she could watch for a moment. It wasn't like she had anything else to do really, she though about going to see Elena but really it been so long she didn't know what she would say. So she figured she hang here a bit before going back to her quiet motel room.

Having been in Richmond for only a few weeks now, nothing really big happened to Oz yet. The only thing was reuniting with the whole Scooby Gang again. That felt good. Seeing Willow and Xander and Buffy again. Feeling that they were happy to see him again and feeling like he still fitted in with their group. It was nice that he had a family again of sorts.
Being alone for the most part for the past few years wasn't all it was cracked out to be.
Oz had heard about these band auditions going on at the Richmond Community Center. Oz had not really played in a band since his "Dingoes Ate My Baby" days back in Sunnydale. So to say Oz was more then anxious to begin playing again was an understatement. "Daniel Ozbourne!" The audition scout called him to the room and he placed his bass guitar strap around his neck and entered. "Just Oz please." Oz said to them. Oz began playing like only he could and he could tell that they were quite impressed with him already and he wasn't even done yet.
Finally finishing his audition, you could tell by the sound of their voice when they said "We will be in contact." That they probably wanted him. Oz nodded and began walking out of the room but that is when he spotted her. She had sneaked in at some point during his audition and had watched. Oz looked at her as he was passing, and he knew he was staring but he couldn't help it. Maybe Willow was right, Oz was gonna find someone when he least expected it. But the bad news for Oz was that the door he meant to walk through was not open and he went head first into it.
Rubbing his head and feeling quite silly about it he looked back at her. Smooth move Oz, no way would she want to have anything to do with you now. Being really ashamed right now he turned the handle of the door and walked outside and found a bench to sit on. "Good going Oz." He scolded himself. Why did he have to be an idiot like that and walk into a door right in front of her? Oz looked up at the sky, everything was so much easier with Willow. She wouldn't care if he was an idiot from time to time as she was so amazing like that.
Granted, Oz didn't know this girl at all, so she might not judge him for it. But still, great first impression on his behalf.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] Jade wasn’t always that big on music, when she was back in school she worried more about friends, shopping, school activities, and boys. She really didn’t get that deep into music in till she was on the road on her own, it was really all she had anymore. Just the road and her music. But in away she was happy she got into music, it really helped keep her clam in travel. Singing in the car helped bring out the feeling that she had deep inside, and deal with all that she was going through. Even though she wasn’t the best singer in the world, but it wasn’t like anyone could hear her.
She heard the next name being calling up to addition by the name of Daniel Ozbourne, she couldn’t help but want to see how he would do. Plus there was something about his name that she liked that pulled her interest. She sat there waiting as he began to get ready to go up there, she wondered how he could do that? Jade would be so nervous she wouldn’t even know what to do other then pass out. When she was at the dance getting her crown she was happy but at the same time she felt she was going to barf. All she could do what keep talking random things on her speech so she didn’t freak out. That was something Jade was great at talking to much when nervous, its always been a bad habit of hers. But then again she talks to much as is.
Finaly he was done making his way over near Jade, she couldn’t help but look at him couldn’t help but smile. There was just something about him she liked, she didn’t know what it was but it was something? Something that her inner wolf even liked, something that drew her senses to him. She couldn’t help but lock eyes with him, for that moment they were locked on one another when all the sudden bam! He had ran into a door that obviously wasn’t open. She couldn’t help but giggle for a quick moment.
She then quickly made her way over to see if he was ok, she hoped that he didn’t hit his head to hard. He really seemed like a nice guy she didn’t want him to be hurt. “Oh god are you ok? That looked like that didn’t feel to good, can I do something for you like some ice.” Said Jade kneeling down to help him. But again her eyes were on his speechless on what to say. There was just something about him that she though was so cute.

"Yeah, I'm ok." Oz said rubbing his head softly. Oz was probably a bit more in touch with his inner beast then she was, but he could tell that she was a werewolf to. Maybe it was the fact that he had spent so much time with other werewolves that he just knew. It also explained why he was so attracted to her, not that she was beautiful or anything and the attraction needed to be explained. She was beautiful to him. But the reason he was so attracted to her was cause she was also a werewolf. Werewolf have natural attractions to each other.
Oz looked her in the face, wanting to explore his primal urges with her and hoping she would let him, but somehow he held back. That was part of his training after all, not only to control the transformations but to control the urges to. It was really hard to control the beast inside him when she was around though. He could tell she felt it to. "I'm Oz." He introduced himself to her. He felt a little ashamed and had to fight the urge to transform. For him, situations like this one, tense and stressful, often made him loose control.
But for some reason, she kept him from turning. She calmed him down, so yeah he wanted to act on his animalistic urges with her but she kept him from changing. It was a good feeling really and Oz couldn't explain it, and he didn't really want to. "Whats your name?" He asked her looking her deep in her eyes. She had the greenest eyes he had ever seen and he just wanted to get lost in them. "You are a..." Oz began pulling himself from getting to lost in her eyes. He knew what he wanted to say, but he didn't want to scare her off.
"I am one to...I can tell you are one." Oz said to her, he was trying to say it in a calm way. Trying not to scare her. Oz just wanted her to know that, that is why she probably felt attracted to him, and that he wouldn't mind helping her if she needed it but he didn't know how to say it without sounding like a freak and scaring her to tears and make her run off. "You don't have to worry, I wont tell anyone." He added, hoping it would put her mind at ease.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] She hoped that he was ok, she didn’t want him to be hurt. But she could tell by the way he had approached the door he took a pretty nasty hit to the head. “Are you sure you are ok? I mean you hit that door pretty hard, I mean I’m surprised you didn’t knock yourself out. What had you districted anyway?’ She asked him with a smile. She pretty much all ready knew the answer to that, she to was locking eyes with him as he walked by. But Jade just couldn’t help pulling the innocent card asking him.
She could tell there was something about him, something that she could feel it was drawing them close to one another. What was it? Was this guy a werewolf like her maybe? She wasn’t sure what it was seeing that she had never met another one before. She was all that she knew existed, well other then the one that bit her but she never knew of them. That all happened to fast it was like a blur. “Hi Oz it really nice to meet you.” She said holding out her hand to shake his. “You play really well by the way, I’m sure they are going to be calling you back. They be dumb if they didn’t.”
For some reason she felt her wolf strong with in her being around him, she didn’t know why? Almost like she wanted to go nuts and run wild. Maybe she liked this guy more then she though she did. She then realized how rude she was by not telling him her name. “Oh god I’m sorry were are my manners, I’m jade by the way. Its nice to meet you.” She could tell then by the way he was looking at her he knew, she could tell that he knew. “I’m one what?” She said trying to act dumb at first.
But she wasn’t going to for long, there was something about him that told Jade she could trust him. Plus she knew all along something was special about him, she could sense it. “So you are a werewolf too? “ She asked him in a soft excited like tone so no one could hear. “Oh my god this is great I have never met another of my kind, how long have you been one?” She asked him feeling so relived to meet another like her.

"Don't worry about it, I have a hard head." Oz said trying to smile at her, though it hurt like hell he was still ok. She asked him what had him distracted. It took every ounce of courage he had not to say that she was what was distracting him. "I guess I was worried about getting called back." Oz finally said trying to make up a convincing lie, though he was probably pretty sure she knew that it was not the truth. Still, telling her that he was distracted cause he saw the most beautiful women he had ever seen didn't seem like a good first meeting conversation.
"It's nice to meet you to." Oz replied, though she still hadn't told her his name, so she still hadn't really met him yet. He would say it was nice running into you, but that would sound like a bad pun or something and Oz was clearly not that smooth with women to pull something like that off. "Thanks, you heard my set then?" Oz asked her, he was actually a little flattered that she liked the way he played. The last girl who told him that she loved the way he played he ended up dating for 2 years, he missed Willow right now, but he was distracted by this new girl.
"Jade what a pretty name, it matches your eyes." Oz spoke to her, not even knowing how that smooth line made it past his lips. He was just glad she was talking to him. Jade, that was her name, and that was all he knew other then the fact she was a werewolf like him. He wanted to know more, maybe it was just instincts , but he did. Finally she asked him she was what. He looked confused, how could she not know what she was? Did she not turn on full moons? Did she not have... urges? Oz didn't respond except waited for her next question.
"Yeah, I am a werewolf too." Oz replied to Jade. She kinda confused him a little and wondered if she was playing dumb or not. Oz didn't want to think about that. "You have never met another one? How did you turn then?" Oz asked her again confused by the whole situation. "I was turned by my cousin by mistake when I was in high school." He answered her question, it had been quite awhile, years already. Oz really didn't keep track anymore. He guessed it had been at least 5 years. 5 Years of being something different. "5 years or so, what about you?" He asked.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] Jade let out a giggle to his response. She thought it was cute that he was trying to play it off like it didn’t hurt, but Jade wasn’t dumb she knew a lot better then that. He knew that he had hurt himself, she could tell just by the way he had hit the door. “Well don’t worry and be nervous, I think you were great! I’m sure they will call you back, from what I could see they really enjoyed hearing you play as well.” She said with a smile. “I’m guessing you have been playing music for a while then huh?”
She really liked hearing him play he was really good, it seemed as though he didn’t realize how good he in fact was. “Yeah I heard the set I can tell you really practiced for this too, man if it was me up there I would have lost it. I’m one to have a bit of stage fright so I couldn’t have done that.” She said with a smile. She could tell that this guy had a lot of talent, almost like he was born to be on a stage. He just had that about him, and that was something that Jade really liked. It was something that drew her to him.
She blushed after what he said to her, complementing her eyes like that. “Thanks.” She said in a like shy tone. “ You are sweet, No one has ever told me that before. All though its not that often that guys say sweet things to me.” Jade has dated here and there, but finding true love wasn’t really something that had found her. Actually it seemed like it never wanted to find her, like she was destined to always be alone. Which she really hoped wasn’t the case, Jade feared and didn’t always want to be alone. She wanted someone that she could love and spend her life with always and forever.
She couldn’t believe it another one just like her, she wondered how he had done it? How he had lived with being who he was, how did he tell his family? How did he stay hidden? “I mean I guess I have met another, but it was so fast him biting me that he was there and then he was gone you know.” She explained. “But other then talking to someone like me talking about what we are going through no never have.” It was sad to hear that her own family had turned him into what he was, having this is like a curse, a disease that you don’t want to live with. “I’m sorry to hear about that, so does you family know what you are then?” She asked curiously. He then wanted to know how long she had been one, when really it had been so long she had lost track of time by now. ‘Well I’m 24 and was turned back when I was 17, ever since then I have been on the run. So I guess around 6 years now I have been like this.”

"Thanks that means a lot coming from a kindred spirit." Oz replied to her truthfully. He liked that another Werewolf was able to appreciate his musical talent. "Since I was a little kid." Oz answered her question about how long he had been playing for. Oz was instantly attracted to her cause he knew she was a werewolf. So he was trying to ignore that, as that wasn't a good base for a relationship. Still, Oz could see himself with Jade, as she seemed like a really awesome girl. So he didn't want her to think he liked her cause of the werewolf thing as she was so much more then that.
"Well, I heard you just have to picture the crowd in their underwear." Oz told her, he didn't realize he basically told her that he could picture her in her underwear. Then again, Oz really didn't know she was watching he was to focused on the set to look into the crowd. He was good back in high school, but he seemed to be much better now then back then. He wondered why as he did go a few years without really playing to much, but it just came back to him instantly. Which he was glad about that cause he loved it so much and would hate if he could no longer do it.
"Why not?" Oz asked, the romantic in him wanted to tell her she deserved compliments all the time. But he refrained, it was just to early for him to say something like that. "They don't know what they are missing." Oz decided to settle on that as it was much more neutral and the truth. Oz looked at Jade, she really was beautiful, it must of been the werewolf thing that kept her from getting close to other people. Oz was the same way really. He wouldn't allow many girls in his life at all after Willow because of it. So he didn't blame Jade for doing the same thing.
"I wonder why they would turn you and not tell you why." Oz said to Jade. It really was weird, unless they didn't know that they turned her. Oz nodded. "I don't blame my cousin, he was really young and it wasn't his fault." Oz told her truthfully. He never really did feel any anger over it, it just wasn't his thing to feel like that. "My parent's don't know, haven't seen them for years either." Oz replied answering her next question. They seemed to have a lot in common, they both ran after they turned, well Oz had friends to help him, but he then ran away when he hurt Willow.
"Thats a long time, have you learned to control it yet?" Oz asked her. Oz never really talked this much, but it was somehow different with Jade. He enjoyed talking to her, maybe it was cause they were both werewolfs so they had a lot to talk about. Not that he didn't enjoy talking to Willow, he just found it hard to come up with stuff to say to her most of the time. He will always love Willow, but she clearly moved on, so you can't really blame him for looking at Jade as a fresh chance to do the same thing.

There was just something about him that made Jade feel complete, maybe it was because he was a werewolf. But then again maybe not, Jade feels that its to much more then that seeing that she didn’t even know he was one at first. She though he was just another average Boy that Jade couldn’t help but like, but there was so much more there. “Wow you have been playing a while, you must love it then.” She replied.
She laughed when he said how to picture the crowd, she wasn’t expecting him to say that at all. “Well that’s nice I guess I will have to try that sometime.” She said gigging. “So how do I look in my underwear then?” She couldn’t help but ask him trying to be cute, she just hoped she didn’t make him nervous and put him on the spot. “I’m just kidding relax I know you were just trying to make me smile, which I can lie I have needed a good smile the last few days so thank you.” She said to him wearing an even bigger on on her face.
He was so sweet to her saying things that she had never heard before, she felt like her heart was singing right now. “Yeah I guess they don’t huh.” She replied. She couldn’t help but be shy, again she wasn’t use to all the complements. She was overwhelmed with it all, but it a good way. “Yeah I have no idea why it turned me and took off ?” Jade was lost to and could tell he was, she still didn’t get why they turned her and run off. No reason to why they destroyed and changed her life forever. So far nothing really has came good from it other then learning to take care of herself. Well and meeting him, she was so happy in this moment getting to make friends with him, and maybe something more?
“Well I’m sorry to hear about your family I know it isn’t easy, I left home to keep them safe and I have not seen them since. But I know they are ok, I have kept in contact in some way.” She told him. He then wanted to know how Jade had learned to control it. She did but it wasn’t easy, it took all these years learning to train herself on her strength and when the time was coming. But some how she has done it. “Yeah I have learned to cage myself when its time, but it wasn’t easy I had to read and learn all this on my own. Life really has been hard and lonely.” She said while looking down for a moment. “How has it been for you? You know controlling and dealing with it alone?”

"Yeah, its one of my favorite things." Oz replied to her in reference to his guitar and playing it. Oz didn't know why, just when he was younger he picked up the guitar for the first time and instantly enjoyed it. Some of his best memories, well before he met Willow and the gang that is, were playing the bass guitar. Oz always wanted to do it for the longest time, be in a band, and then he and his friend formed one, the only band he ever played for. So this audition was a new experience for him and he wanted it to pay off and join a band again.
"Well, um..." Oz said, now he never really used the word um, but when she asked him how she looked in her underwear Oz was at a loss for words. Not that he was always the most talkative guy in the world in the first place, he didn't know what to say. He hoped she was just playing and didn't want him to really answer the question, as how would you answer it? Clearly it was one of those trap questions. Either answer would get him slapped, so he just smiled hoping that she really didn't want him to answer. Oz did wonder how she looked in her underwear though.
"You are welcome." Oz said thankful for the change of subject and to find out she was only kidding. It certainly was a mystery, maybe not the biggest one Oz has ever had to help figure out, but it was still odd. "I can help you figure it out if you want." Oz told her, he was use to helping out with research on such things and wondered if Giles library was as big now as it was back in high school. It would be worth looking up if she wanted to, some people didn't want to look up such topics especially when they were involved with it.
"It's ok, me too." Oz told her with a smile. He sort of went through the same thing, though he hid it cause he feared they would hate him if they found out. But it was also to protect them to an extent to. Oz listened to her and when she got sad he placed his hand on Jade's shoulder. "I'm sorry." He told her, it was kind of hard to be alone, Oz was alone for the longest time as well, so he kinda knew how Jade felt. Her next question made him smile a little bit. Oz had not changed for the longest time thanks to his training in Tibet.
"My friends helped me in high school." Oz told her, he really respected his friends for helping him back then and not giving up on him. "But I trained in Tibet to control it. Haven't turned in months." Oz told Jade. "I can help you if you need." He added quickly, something told him that he was suppose to be there for her and help Jade through stuff if she needed him to.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] Jade was a lot more into music now then she was when she was back in high school, it almost made her wish that she would have been more into it back then. Maybe then she would have learned to play an instrument of some sort, there was just something about it she really liked. This years its let her let go and learn how to feel. Which was something that she needed seeing that when she left home she didn't feel nothing but emptiness and sadness, she felt broken inside like she had died and was reborn into something else. Something else that she really didn't want to be, this is the first time that she ever had been happy to be what she was. She was actually happy to be a werewolf in this moment because its something she shares in common with Oz. "Well I would love to learn what else you are into." She told him.
She could tell that she hit a soft spot and embarrass him which wasn't what she wanted at all, she could help but laugh at his speechlessness. "I'm just joking relax you don't need to answer that." She told him. "Has anyone ever told you that you are cute when you are at a loss for words." She knew that she had to be making this a lot harder for him with the complement she was giving him but oh well she couldn't help herself, there was something about being around Oz that made her feel different. Like she could have fun be herself and not hide who she was, but then again maybe that because of what they share. She really wasn't one to talk to people or have fun like this, not until she left home away. For once she felt like herself again when she was with Oz, and she liked that lot. This wasn't a feeling that she wanted to lose.
She loved that he was whiling to help her leaned more about who could have turned her, truth was she never really though about it before. But yeah there was a part of her that wouldn't mind knowing, why he just bit her and took off. Was he sacred which is why he did? Did he know her and that was why he turned her? They were all questions that she didn't have the answers to but wouldn't mind knowing. "Yeah that would be great if you wanted to look into it for me." She told him. "No one has ever really wanted to help me before thanks."
She love that he was here for her, for once in her life time she didn't feel alone, she wanted to cry she was so touched. She felt how much he cared as he placed his hand on her shoulder. "Thanks" She told him. "It is hard to be alone and I can say for the first time in a long time I don't anymore." She told him while smiling back while still holding his hand. He was lucky getting to have his friends by his side like that, she would have loved to have that same thing for her, but all her friends would have ran screaming like a baby. But she didn't blame them she would do the same not knowing. "Wow its great that you had your friends there for you, how is it that they weren't sacred of what you were?" She asked him.
She smiled when she said that he could help her with a bit more control, which was something she wouldn't mind. She can always get better turning to her wolf side, plus she just liked Oz so getting to learn from him would be fun. "Sure I would like that very much." She told him.

"I would like that too." Oz spoke to Jade when she said she wanted to learn what else he was into. Oz really really wanted to learn more about Jade to. So it sounded like a really good idea to him. Oz had been afraid to let any girl get close to him really after Willow, but maybe it was cause she seemed so happy with Lenore and she just seemed like she wasn't into him any more, well, maybe it only seemed like that to Oz. Never the less, she had moved on and is with Lenore right now, so maybe Oz was a bit more bolder to try and be with someone else too.
Or maybe he was just so dang attracted to Jade that he couldn't help it. Either way the timing was incredible, he was actually feeling really down about Willow, but now he was looking into the beautiful green eyes of Jade and he thought it was meant to be. Oz shook his head no at Jade's question. "No, but I have been told I don't say enough." Oz replied to her he couldn't help but smile at it. It took Oz a moment to register that she said that she thought he was cute. Maybe it was the bump on the head or maybe he wasn't use to it, but she said it and meant it.
"You really think I am cute?" Oz asked her. Now if Jade were to ask that question Oz would not hesitate to say that he thought she was really really cute. Other then Willow she was the cutest girl he had ever seen. Oz wanted to tell her that, well maybe leave out the part about Willow, but Oz didn't think he should unless she asked first. Jade slipped when she said she thought Oz was cute, and Oz kinda put her on the spot. He didn't mean to really, he just was shocked by it. Oz didn't want to scare her off by being over excited about what she looked like, that mattered least in a relationship anyways.
"You are welcome." Oz told her when she accepted his help. Oz didn't know where to begin really, what would happen would be along the lines of Buffy finding a clue or something, Giles telling them to do research on it, and then one of them coming across the answers on accident. So this was the first time it was up to him to find a clue and go from there. "You remember anything about them? Male or female?" Oz asked, it was hard to tell werewolfs apart, but hopefully she might of known who her attacker was, and a gender would narrow it down a bit.
"You are welcome." Oz said, thinking he sounded like a broken record. He could tell she was a little choked up by it and it just made him like her more. Oz was clearly being a good at least friend to her, but he hoped for more then that. "Well they were use to it." Oz said, he knew she would need more then that but he wasn't sure if he should tell Jade more or not. Not many people knew about the slayer and her work and Oz normally didn't go telling people about it. He wondered if Jade knew about vampires and that could be a good reason.
"We lived in a town that had a lot of vampires and me and my friends tried stopping them." He decided to answer her question, hoping that it was enough for her. At least for now he wasn't sure if he should tell her the whole story. He nodded when she agreed to letting him help her with her control. It seemed like the right thing to do, and not having to turn on the full moon was the best feeling in the world. No one should be forced to change.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] A big smile came upon the dark haired girls face, She was so happy that Oz wanted to get to know her as well. She was really scared with herself that she was able to be this open and honest that she liked him, most the time she was shy and didn’t know what to say. But this time with him that wasn’t the case, she wasn’t going to be shy she was going to open up. She was tired of being alone and not having no one to talk with. Maybe she had truly found someone to save her from her loneness.
Jade could see that about Oz being the quite one not saying much, but that was all going to change once he spends sometime with Jade. “Well we will have to change that with me around, because I would love to know more about you.” She told him. “You know I’m interested with how you dealt with first becoming a wolf, all the changes you went through, how it happened. Plus I love to know more about your Music, I’m a sucker for some good music.” It was great meeting someone that was just like her, it was all so exciting. She felt a young girl again meeting a cute boy for the first time.
He seemed shocked to hear that jade though he was cute, how could he not be. He was just so sweet and was also kind of short but that’s what made him so cute. But the one thing that jade loved most of all about him so far was his smile. He had such a sweet like smile that she couldn’t help but love. “Yeah I think you are cute, my question is why you don’t? I can see girls chasing you down like crazy.” She said to him with a wink.
He was so sweet trying to help her remember what happened when she turned, she never really had though about it before till now. It was Oz that was trying help her remember, trying to help her think were she could have came from. “You know I really cant remember, it all happened so fast I mean it was such a blur. I really wish that I could but I don’t.” Jade said while holding her head trying to think.
Oz was so sweet and generous to Jade, she had never met anyone as sweet as him. She really was thankful to meet him and was excited to know more about him. She really wanted to get to know some of his friends as well, seeing that they are not sacred of werewolf’s. That was part of the reason that jade didn’t know anyone seeing that she was worried they be sacred of her. “Well that pretty cool that they don’t mind you, I would have to meet them sometime.” She said with a smile.
She could tell that oz was going to help her with what she was, which made her so happy seeing that she never has had anyone there for her like this. “Wow so it sounds like you lived in a pretty crazy town then. So what was the name of this place?” She asked him, trying to learn more about him.

Oz just smiled at her. He remembered what Willow said to him one time. You always know what to say, when you bother to talk. Oz guessed that it was true, as Willow always thought that of him. Oz never really said much ever. It wasn't that he was shy, he had friends and he performed on stage all the time, he just didn't feel the need to talk. Its how he has always been, So now with getting to know Jade, he is gonna have to talk a lot more. Jade's next question was hard for him to answer. He didn't take it very well, changing, and he was worried his friends would try and kill him.
"I tried to hide it and didn't tell anyone. I thought my friends might try to kill me." Oz told her truthfully. They hunted monsters after all. It was like an after school activity for them. Oz trusted them and loved them, but he was really scared that they would not take it well. "Finally they found out and they saved me from a hunter." Oz said, at least he was saying more then usual, he was actually saying quite a bit more then he was use to at this point. It didn't freak him out or anything it was just weird saying so much in such a little time. He probably spoke this much to Willow before at some point.
Jade's next statement made Oz do something he rarely did, if ever. He blushed bright red when Jade said he was cute and winked at him. "I just haven't had many girlfriends before." Oz told her, and outside of Willow, he hadn't really had many girls tell him that they liked him. Oz didn't think he wasn't cute, he just didn't hear it very often. Then again he might have had a few girlfriends if he allowed people in his life the last few years. He hasn't really allowed anyone to get close to him since Willow. So who knows maybe girls did think that about him. "You are really cute too." Oz told her.
"I'm sorry." Oz said. He couldn't see how it would feel to have someone change you into a werewolf and not know who or why they did it. Oz knew what happened to him, he knew why it happened to, cause his cousin didn't know any better. It must feel really bad to not know why it happened to you, and it was already a bad feeling in general. "We will find out why, I promise." Oz told her, trying to comfort her. This shouldn't of happened to Jade, but in a way, Oz felt a little glad that it did. If it hadn't happened, Jade would not be here with him right now, and she wouldn't be talking to him right now.
So in a weird way it brought them together. "They are awesome, they helped me when I changed." Oz told her remembering those days fondly. Yeah they were hard, but his friends got him through it. If not for them, who knows what bad things Oz would of done back then. Even though sometimes he became a suspect, he was always cleared. He didn't blame them for suspecting he had done something, not when there was evidence against him, but they always gave him the benefit of the doubt. "Sunnydale, and yes, it was crazy." Oz told her, everything seemingly bad happened there. It was the hellmouth after all.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] It must have been hard being what he was not being able to tell the ones he loved, it was on of the big reasons that Jade had to leave home. It was hard not being able to tell her friends. But not just that she was sacred more then anything that she was going to hurt them. She could take that chance of turning and doing something she wouldn't be able to live with herself for. Like eating and killing one of her friends, or even worse hurting her brother and sister. She couldn't take that chance she loved them to much, she couldn't even live with herself if something happened to them. So she did the right thing, the only thing she could do and left them keeping them safe from harm for her.
"Yeah I wouldn't have been able to hide it and keep it from my friends, I would have hated lying to them. But most of all I couldn't take a chance of hurting anyone that I loved." Jade said trying not to get emotional. It was hard for her talking about all this, she hasn't had the chance really to tell anyone how she feels about it all. That is until now meeting Oz has given her a chance to really open up, and man does it feel good. "Wow they saved you from a hunter huh, wait are you telling me there are ones out there that hunt are kind? I guess I need to be careful then out there myself." Said the dark haired girl.
How could someone as cute as Oz not have many girlfriends before, he was so cute and sweet it didn't make since. "You not have many girlfriends, no I don't believe that. You are way to cute not to have girls chasing after you. I mean come on you are in a band." She told him with a smile. "I mean to a lot of girls that means something." She then couldn't help but be speechless for what he was about to tell her next, telling Jade how cute she was. She really didn't know what to say, she wasn't use to boys saying she was cute. She just stood there giving him a big smile, then placing a small kiss on his cheek.
She loved how Oz was there for her, waiting to help her find who did this. No one has ever called or wanted to help her so much. It was like he was a Angel sent to help her and keep her safe. "Thanks you don't know what that means to me" She said with a smile. She was happy to be getting to know him more and maybe even more friends in the process. When he said where he was from she knew that it sounded familiar like she had heard of it before. "Wait is that the town that like blew up? Yeah I have heard of it before. Man you are so lucky you got out" She said.
