---------------- ---------------- Satsu was still so happy that she was getting to stay in Richmond, she really did like it here the town was nice the people were nice. But most of all this is were her friends and family were at, so this is were she wanted to be. But the big reason over all was Buffy, they were such a great team when they were put together. So she really couldn't deal being with out her partner, plus they understood how one another fought with each other.
It really was nice in Rome that they got to talk about some things, but it still didn't change a thing for them. Buffy still had love for Angel and Satus still wasn't going to change how she felt for Buffy. She still was going to wish that deep down that she could have and be with her, nothing was going to change this feeling no matter how hard she tried. She was still going to love and wish she could be with her. But sadly she will have to be the girl that Satsu wishes she could be with and never will. But its better then not knowing Buffy at all so she deals.
Satsu was doing the usual walking threw the cemetery doing a nightly portal, it was here turn plus Buffy was busy helping out a friend with something. She would have Sarah out with her but she was with her boy toy tonight, so it seemed that Satsu was flaying solo tonight on this one. But she didn't mind sometimes she liked working alone giving her some time alone to think. So she pulled out her ipod putting in her ear buds and she while patrolling, listing to some no doubt, doing what she does best. Hopping to find some vampires that she could take down and kill, riding the earth from them a little bit more at a time.

----------------------- [/b]  -----------------------[/b][/center] Even if she had only gotten back, Ellen was getting back on the job, well the hunting job that was. She had every intention of opening something like the roadhouse at one point but she wanted to make sure this was the place where she wanted to stay before she made any decisions, there was no need for her to get into something that big if she was not going to be able to stay. She knew it would never be like home but she also knew that she could never really go home.
So the next best thing to this was hunting and this was exactly what she was going to do. Through the branches she had heard a lot of vampires were in this town and she figured a little bit of ass kicking might do her some good. It would keep her mind busy and also she wanted to make sure if she had kind of lost it during the time where she was in heaven. She had never been a hunter like her husband used to be, nor like Jo was, but the older woman could clearly hold her end if so she needed. Ellen had stopped by an army supply store and had gotten a few things she knew she would need.
Having spent the better part of her adult life around hunters she knew how to make care of the vampires. Or at least she thought she knew how to take care of them. She took her green bag and walked out of the cheap motel room she was staying at. When she would have found Jo, she would get a place for them to live, she would find them a small house or anything like that. That was of course if her daughter was here. part of Ellen just hoped that she was still in heaven. That she had not been sent back to earth as well.
Ellen saw a young woman walked directly to the cemetery and something in her told her to follow her. The girl looked young and Ellen always was and always would be a mama bear so there was no way she was going to let a young girl possibly get hurt. Quietly Ellen walked behind her just to make sure she was safe and would get to where ever it was she was trying to go safely.

--------------------------------So far it was quite nothing was around, for once it was calm, which kind of made Satsu pissed. She was hoping for a fight and needed to burn off some steam. She had a lot on her mind after he talk with Buffy, it really did kill her knowing they would never be. Plus she knew that her man the vampire was going to be coming for her soon, something else she was not looking forward to at all. She knew she was going to have to be nice to him, which was something she really did want to have to do. But she knew how Buff felt about him so she was going to have to suck it up, as much as she didn't want to.
Just having dinner with Willow she had found out that Buffy was meeting someone that night, reason being to why she was not at dinner. For some reason Satsu had a feeling, she felt like that for some reason that guy she was with was in fact Angel. Plus it didn't help that Willow really didn't want to talk about it, which gave her even more of a bad feeling. The Wiggins that Willow would call it. But she wasn't going to trip about it she knew that Buffy would talk to her about it when ready, and she knew here soon she was going to have to meet the vampire even though she really didn't want to. But she will never tell Buffy that.
Still walking through and so far nothing, nothing but the silence. But it didn't chance the fact that she was being followed. Satsu wasn't dumb and she knew when someone was watching her, Buffy trained her to good not to. She didn't know why this person was following her they seemed armless and she didn't feel that were a vamp. So right now the Slayer was confused, in less they were something else which was kind of what she was starting to think.
Satsu had disappear like a ninja so they didn't know where she had gone to, appearing right behind the woman holding her stake to there back. "Can I ask why you are following me, is it something you like to do Follow girls that walk through here? You need to stop because its creepy" She told the woman. "So who are you anyway and what you want?"

Being back on earth after having known what heaven was like clearly was not something for the fainted heart. It was safe to say that the world was a cold and harsh place and when you had finally found heaven a place where you could be happy. A place where she had been with her husband again, there was no way she could asks for more. But of course that had been short lived and soon enough. Or at least it had felt soon enough, she had found herself back on earth with no clue why she was here, who had brought her back.
It was one of the things that pissed her off the most, the whole not knowing thing. Not knowing what she was back. Where Jo was, who had brought her back. She had been terrified at first that she had been a ghost and that something had went wrong in heaven and she was not a ghost walking on heart. Thankfully it had not taken long before she had been proven wrong and she was thankful for it. She could deal with many things but being a ghost, something she use to hunt now that was not going to fly in her book. So now all she had left to do was find her way back to her people, her friends and together they could figure out what had happened and why she was here because really it was annoying to her.
But right now her main focus was this girl. But it did not take long before she disappeared from her sight and the only thing that Ellen could think of was that something had caught her. There were so many things that went bump into the night it could easily be any of them. Ellen looked around but before she had the chance to turn around she felt something pointing in her back. “that better be some kind of weapon.” She said with a small smile before putting her hand in the air as if she was trying to prove she meant no harm.
“I followed you because I was afraid you were going to get into trouble” Ellen started in a calm voice. “now if you please take whatever it is you have on my back off we could talk face to face. The name is Ellen. Ellen Harvelle.”

-------------------------------- Satsu wasn't going to do anything to this woman, hurting humans was not her style. She just wanted to know why she had been behind her. So she hoped that maybe if she held her stake on her she would maybe talk, but she didn't think that maybe that was going to work. This woman didn't seem sacred at all, Satsu couldn't help but smile from her commit and tried not to laugh. "Yeah its a weapon what else would it be, I'm not going to do anything in less you give me reason to, which I hope you aren't going to." She told her. "Sorry I just don't like people following me you know, I'm sure its not really something you like ether."
It seemed this woman was following Satsu because she was worried she was in trouble, all though it just seemed kind funny for her to trust that. She was after all caring a big samurai sword behind her, did she really look like one who needed help. Plus Satsu wasn't one to trust right away it just wasn't her style, she had bad luck in the past trusting people to soon. It was a weakness of hers, caring to much, so she wasn't going to believe everything this woman said right away. "Why would you think that I'm going to get into trouble, in less there is something alive out here that I'm not aware of." She then looked around for a quick moment, noticing nothing but a quite cemetery with nothing out of the ordinary.
Satsu let go of the woman so they could talk, she didn't think she was going to try anything. She looked armless enough anyway, and she really had no reason to turn on Satsu. She showed the woman what it was that she had on her back this whole time. "See just a stake, can't really do that much harm to humans." She told her. "Nice to meet you Ellen I'm Satsu, so why are you doing out here anyway? I mean other then worrying about me." She did think it was kind of nice that she was worried for her, she could see that from this woman. She almost seemed like a motherly type.

Ellen felt a hint of a smile in the girl’s tone of voice. After years of working in a bar you reached a point where you could read people without really having to see them. It was more or less the job of a bartender. “Trust me I have no intentions of having a stake through me right now.” She told Stasu. “yeah and sorry I totally get not liking having people following you, had I noticed you could easily take care of yourself I would have let you deal with whatever hides in the shadows by yourself.” She added softly.
“There are many things out there that could easily get you into trouble. But I think you are already fully aware of this.” Ellen told her. Otherwise why would she be carrying all of these weapons around with her. No one walked around with a stake for the fun of it really. Well some people did but that was mostly because they thought that killing dead things and evil stuff that hide in the shadows was something fun and that everyone should do. Of course those people were wrong and they were more often than not the first ones to actually get into trouble. And apparently even heaven could not get the hunter part of Ellen. Because her instinct had first been to do anything she could to try and protect this young girl even if she didn’t know her at all. It was simply part of who she was now.
When the stake was finally off from her back Ellen felt like she could breathe again. “Yeah guess so but still not really a fan of having sharp things pointed in my back.” She explained as she turned around. “Still I’m pretty sure if you had decided to press this thing hard enough, it could have easily killed me…” Ellen might be a hunter and a strong one at that but it didn’t mean that she could not die. well she could die and could easily be brought back apparently. But that was a whole different story really. “I’m a hunter.” Ellen said feeling that there was no need to lie to this girl she clearly was not a normal human either. “So yeah I guess you can say I was here to hunt and then saw you. Just wanted to make you were okay which really was useless considering you can clearly take care of yourself. So who are you exactly?” she asked.

-------------------------------- Satsu felt kind of bad for losing it on her, she could tell now she was just trying to watch out for her. She almost seemed like the caring type or cared for others, which was nice seeing that there weren’t many people like that anymore. “Yeah sorry about the stake you can never be too careful, thanks sometimes its nice to have someone worry for you.” She told her with a smile. “Yeah it seems there is always something larking in the shadows that’s for sure, I can never get a break anymore.” She wondered what this girl was, she seemed to know a lot about what was out there.
“Yeah I’m aware of what’s out there trust me, more then I would like to.” She said while leaning up against a random grave. “I’m guessing by the way you talk you must be a hunter or something? I mean you seem to know all that’s going on, more then the average person would.” Satsu knew there were a few of them around from Buffy, she had meet a few of them since she was in town. It was nice to know there were people trying to do there part and keep the world safe. Slayers sadly cant do it all there self’s as much as they would like to. Buffy had school with Slayers placed all around the world, and it still wasn’t enough to take down all that was really out there.
“Don’t worry I wasn’t going to kill you with that thing, it was just enough to get my point across. I have a rule and its one that I stand by I don’t kill humans in less I have to, and even then I usually don’t. Monsters are the only things I kill mostly vampires though.” She told her. It was the rule of a Slayer one that Buffy stood by, which was enough for this girl. Satsu only killed humans if it was absolutely necessary, which is something she still didn’t like to do. Buffy didn’t like the girls to ether, which was why most the time Buffy was the one to make that choice and do the killing. Satsu is still yet to kill a human life, She prays and hopes she never has to. But she knows one day it could come to that, just thinking about it put scary chills up this Slayers spine.
The woman wanted to know what she was and what she was doing out there, which brings are back to the point of only killing monsters. “I’m a vampire Slayer, the name kind of says it all to what I do.” She said with a smile. “My name is Satsu by the way, and you are?”

Ellen was not mad at Satsu for this. She could actually understand where the girl was coming from. She didn’t know Ellen from anywhere and clearly Ellen could not have only good intentions. “don’t worry about it. It’s always better safe than sorry and beside I was more or less asking for it..” Ellen said with a shrug a small smile on her face. She would have hope that if it had been Jo who had been followed she would hope that her daughter would have the same reaction as this girl right here. That she would protect herself. It was too dangerous out there to be trustworthy of everyone you encounter. Ellen could not help but wonder what the girl meant about not catching a break, perhaps she was a hunter as well.
The older woman could not help but wonder what was this girl doing here, she clearly knew what she was doing. A hunter perhaps. So young and she already was a hunter. The motherly side of her ached not really knowing what to say. This was not how it was supposed to be. Young girls should not have to face these kinds of things. But she knew better than anyone that you could not stop someone who was a born hunter. It was part of who they was, part of their up bringing. And maybe this was the same thing with this girl. It was part of who she was and she was unable to change it.
When Satsu mentioned that she didn’t kill a human unless she had to, Ellen could not help but have a sad smile. This was actually becoming worst and worst by the minute. Not because she killed humans, it was the fact that sometimes you had to kill a human. There was no choice about it and it was breaking her heart. This really was not the way life was supposed to be. But nothing was really fair in this life. Ellen knew this better than anyone. “So I’m guessing vampires are you creature of the night of choice.” Ellen said. It reminded her of Gordon who had spent the better part of his life going after them. And it was what had been the end of him as well. And of course this made Ellen even more worried again.
“I’m Ellen, a hunter.” Ellen said presenting herself thinking for a moment. She had not often heard about vampire slayers and her knowledge of them was almost non existing. “Pleasure to meet you Satsu, so I guess it’s face to think you were on a hunt for a vampire or something?”

-------------------------------- She smiled at the woman’s response being a good sport about what had went down, even though Satsu was feeling bad about what she did. This girl seemed nice and harmless enough. Satsu really needs to learn to cool it, always jumping the gun. Its something Buffy has been trying to help her with. She is always fight now think later which isn’t always good, nine times out of ten it’s the wrong thing to do. “No you weren’t asking for it.” Said the Slayer. “But if you say so, just know that you owe me a good beating. Catch me when I don’t expect it, of you can anyway. I’m so jumpy I always seem to know what’s coming.”
Satsu really was good when it came to knowing what was around her, she has in away had other training then some of the other girls. Other then the fact that she had been doing Slayer training, she grew up learning the art of Tai Chi and Karate. Something that her dad felt she needed to learn, to help grow her body and mind. Which in away is something that she is very happy to know now, its made becoming a Slayer that much more easy. Not that it was easy or anything but her body and mind was more ready for what Buffy had to teach her.
She could tell that the woman seemed shocked that Satsu didn’t kill humans, but it wasn’t going to change who Satsu was. It was something she live and stick by always if she could. Now don’t get her wrong she will do what’s needed, and sometimes humans can be just as bad as demons. “Yeah they are my creature of choice, but it’s not the only thing I have killed. You name it I will Slay it, the Supernatural don’t stand a chance as long as us Slayers are around.”
Satsu knew she had to be a hunter she got that vibe off of her, one thing that did make the Slayer happy was to see a woman hunter. It seem the only ones really were Slayers, mostly guys were hunters. “Yeah I was out here doing my nightly patrol, something us Slayers do. A lot of times vampire like to rise in cemetery’s at night. Might as well try and get a head you know.” Said the Slayer "So what were you up to out here anyway? Other then helping me."

Ellen shook her head. “Nah we good.” She told her. “Yeah I’m pretty sure that if I was to try and catch you when you are not expecting it, I would most likely be the one to get a beating.” Ellen laughed. “just following you got me a stake pointed in my back. I would be far too afraid that if I was to just show up without you knowing you could easily beat my ass to the ground and I’d rather pass.” She explained with a smile “beside it’s better to be jumpy than to have someone get the upper hand on you. I mean the chances of you getting hurt then are slim.” Sometimes it was better to be to safe than being sorry, because being safe and alive was good. Being dead on the other hand? Well it was not really a walk in the park for most people. Ellen had just gotten lucky and found her way in heaven.
It pained to see someone so young looking having to deal with something like that. It reminded her of her own daughter. She had wished for a different life for Jo. She had tried her best to stop her from going hunting but of course that could not work. Jo had a mind of her own, she truly was a Harvelle and no matter how much Ellen had wanted her daughter to be something else for her own safety she knew that Jo was her father’s daughter. At first she would not even allow Jo to do it but soon she had realised that she didn’t really have a choice in the matter. She just wanted her to be as careful as possible.
“yeah I heard only a fair bit about slayers to be honest.” Ellen had to admit. “But from what I had understood there only was one slayer…perhaps I had heard wrong.” Ellen knew that she had mentioned slayers as in plural. Well clearly they had been wrong about this or maybe she had not gotten the right information in the first place. It could very well be possible, the folklore of anything supernatural could change rather quickly to say the least.
“So most slayers patrol to kill a handful of vampires?” Ellen asked curiously. “most help a bit with the whole problem.” Ellen sighed. “I just needed to focus on something you know. I feel like there are a lot of things happening in my life right now and hunting is pretty much the only thing that makes sense sometimes.”

-------------------------------- Satsu really liked Ellen so far she was pretty funny and had a good way of thinking of things, Satsu could see herself working with her in the near future. Maybe working some kind of a job that hunters would work, or maybe she could help her slay some vamps. Either way she knew that would be keeping in touch. “No I wouldn’t have beaten your ass to the ground.” She said with a giggle. “Trust me I’m not as mean as I look, actually I can be pretty armless I promise you. It just the supernatural I go all wiggy on.”
She could tell that she was a bit fogy on the whole Slayer things, but then again most people though they were only stories like everything else they thought wasn’t real. But to those that knew of the supernatural even though that a girl with all that power, couldn’t be real. But then again if Satsu didn’t know of anything that was out there she might think that to, its hard to believe that a girl can have all that power. “Well yes you are right on that there was one Slayer, but there are a world full of girls that have the potential to be.” She explained. “So they needed more help so Willow who is a witch activated this weapon’s power, that made all the girls that could be one a Slayer. So you see that’s were I come in, but Buffy she is the true and only Slayer, the chosen to us all. So you see you weren’t all the way wrong on your info.”
She wondered what this woman had to be thinking to all this, it was a lot for anyone to take in. Plus she wasn’t going to lie it did sound nuts, but it was the truth after all and Satsu never lies, that is in less she has to. “Yes Slayers kill as many vampire as they can, that’s what we were chosen for. How ever that’s not the only thing I have killed, sadly I take care of a lot more if needed to.” She wondered what was on the woman’s mind, she seemed like something was wrong. Almost like something was eating at her, and Satsu being the friend that she could be was going to get to the bottom of it. “I mean I get what you mean Slaying sometimes is the only thing that can make since to me. So what kind of things have been happing to you.” She asked trying to show her she had a friend in Satsu.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b][/center] Over the years and with everything that had went on in her life, Ellen had gotten her own life philosophy and it made things easier for her to deal with everything that was getting thrown her way. She tried her best to see the positive in every situation, try to keep a smile up and running. Now it was harder because she had no idea if Jo had been brought here as well. She just hoped her daughter was still in heaven, but Ellen would try and not let this show. Until she was sure of what had happen to her daughter she could not stop and this was her focus right now. Her cause. “Well trust me there is nothing supernatural about me.” Or well pretty much nothing if you didn’t take in the fact that a few days ago she had been dead and now she was alive.
Ellen listened to the info and she could not help but think that this was something that Robert would have love to learn about. She sure hope that he was still alive, that he was still around here somewhere. She had not heard anything in her time of heaven but she also would not have put it pass him to have died and try to stay down to earth. The Winchester boys were pretty much the only thing he had left, the only family, of course he would have wanted to protect them. But again she was getting way ahead of herself and really needed to start focusing. Ever since she had been brought back, she had felt as if her mind was always going into far too many different directions and she didn’t know how to really stop it. It was rather annoying to her.
“so basically there is one slayer, the chosen one?” Ellen said making sure she had gotten the information right. If Bobby was still around and kicking she knew he would want to hear about this. “and then the rest of you were the ones who could be slayer if something was to happen to this buffy girl actual slayer?” that was actually quite interesting. The information surrounding slayers had always been rather iffy so being able to actually talk to one was actually really interesting. “how does one get chosen?” she asked
Had Ellen been a normal human she would have most likely call the hospital to get this girl checked in because it was clear that the no normal person would be able to deal with such a news. But Ellen had seen so many things over the years it was only normal to her now. “yeah I guess that you have killed far too much already.” And by that she of course meant the fact that the girl was clearly young. She had most likely already killed more things in her short life than Ellen would ever do in her own life. “I guess that when we are born in lifestyle such as the one we have been born in, the things that would make the less sense to most people make the more sense to us.” She said softly before shrugging unsure if she wanted to tell a complete stranger what had happen to her. “I guess we can say that a lot has happened…” she told him before sighing. “I’m not supposed to be here, I was not here…” Ellen knew she was not making sense right now. “Let’s just say I was not in this universe and for some reason someone just dropped here and forgot to give me the instructions.

-------------------------------- She wondered what this girls woman's story was there was something about her Satsu knew it, she just couldn't put her finger on what it was. But she was hoping after they talked for a while she might get some answers to what was going on. Maybe she had just lost a loved one, or maybe she was lonely. Satsu knew a lot about what that felt like, she had wanted someone for so long and didn't have anybody. The one person she wanted more then anyone didn't want her, which was something she would have to live with forever. "Well lets hope there is nothing Supernatural about you, other wise I might have to kill you and I really don't want to do that you are to nice." She said with a smile.
She seemed amazed with the whole Slayer thing, almost like they were celebrity or something. But then again to people had not heard of them they were something special. Keeping people plus the world Safe, it really was a great job to have. Which is why Satsu was so proud and happy to be one, this is a job that she always wants to be doing. Its in her blood and its her destined to be doing this. "Yes there is a chosen one out of all of us and her name is Buffy, she taught me everything that I know." Said Satsu "Well something would have to happen to Faith is well, she would be next after Buffy to be the boss of us. After Faith I'm not so sure, I guess maybe me." Satsu wouldn't mind at all being the one to take over, she would like it very much getting to be like Buffy. She could lead the girls well if was ever needed to. "As for being chosen its just something that you are born to do, its in our blood as part of a line.
"Yeah a lot has happened." Everything the woman was saying did make since. All but one thing She was a bit lost to what the woman was trying to Say, Satsu was kind of confused and didn't understand. "What you mean not of this universe? Are you trying to say you were on earth?" She hoped she would explain a bit more, because right now the Slayer was lost.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b][/center] Everything was so confusing to Ellen right now. She needed to figure out so many things and she didn’t know where to start. Whoever had decided to bring her back needed to pay for it. Who in their right mind brought someone back with no explanation what so ever? It was a cruel game but Ellen knew she could get to the bottom of it. There had never really been a lot to stop the woman. She had forever been a force to reckon with really. She did not get mean just for the fun of it, but if someone was to push her too much, it was then she got kind of momma bear on people. And right now she was getting close to this point. She looked over at Satsu. “Nope nothing supernatural just a hunter and thank you. You seem rather nice to.” Ellen had to admit.
Hunters were one thing but didn’t have the super powers that slayers could have, they were completely different. While it was something people were born to do for different reason. Hunters were made, hunters usually ran from one generation to the next, it was what had happen to her daughter Jo, it was how she had become a hunter herself, because she had been married to one. Very few hunters managed to leave the life. But some could be able to. But slayers as far as she knew didn’t have a choice, they were trained until one of them died and then one of the trained one would take her place. It was rather sad when you thought about it. It was almost as if they were nothing other than a number. And Ellen being the mother figure that she was could not help but feel her heart breaking at this. “it’s actually rather interesting.” Ellen had to admit as she held on to every words the girl was saying.
Why was she telling this girl all of this? Maybe it was because in a way she felt somewhat at ease around her, like she knew the girl could understand and who knew perhaps point her into the right direction. She had mentioned a witch friend, maybe there was a spell this witch friend could do to help Ellen. “I was dead. I was in heaven and then I don’t know how, I found myself back here. now before you freak out I’m not a ghost or a demon, I already did all the tests on myself to be sure.” It sounded like a strange thing to say but really it was what she had ended up doing.

-------------------------------- Satsu really did have high respect for hunters, seeing that they weren't like Slayers. So they weren't as strong, they didn't have fast healing ability, and most of all they didn't have to do what they do. They had a choice to where Slayers didn't, Satsu didn't have any choice in the matter. Even though that was fine with her. She loved doing this, she loved fighting vampires and keeping the world safe. This was a job that she was born and meat to do and she wasn't ever giving that up. Till her dying day she would keep this world safe no matter what. She would die keeping it safe and knowing Satsu she can see it going down that way. She is a fighter one that don't stop, keeps going till the end.
She was right being a slayer was pretty interesting but it also had its downs, having to fight and sometimes loosening ones that you love. Loss is a pretty big part of being one and its never easy. Its the one thing that she hates having to say good bye. But all you could do was suck it up and move on and not live in the past. Which is something she has had to do more then she has wanted to. But its the sucking it up that makes you that much stronger. "Yeah I guess it can be interesting, so tell me more about you. I'm sure you have some pretty cool hunter stories." She asked her. "Of maybe something pretty interesting about yourself."
Satsu couldn't believe what she was hearing, Ellen didn't look like she had ever been dead. She acted like she was healthy like nothing had ever happened. But it did make much more since now to what was wrong with her, she could tell that she had been hiding something like had been wrong. "Wow so you were in heaven and came back here? How does that work I mean do you know how you were brought back?" Asked the Slayer. "And if you don't mind me asking how you die?" She knew she was asking a lot but she just cared for her that was all, she seemed like a nice woman that Satsu just wanted to get to know and help. She knew one thing though this was a story that would amaze Buffy.
