- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She was more than a little relieved when school ended for the day. She waved to the counselor next to her that was luckily for her higher up than she was at the moment. That meant that she was the one who had to stay after school and work on kids’ report cards while she got to head home. Or at least that would have been the plan before yesterday. Yesterday she and Willow had gone to Pathaways, the local wiccan store, to see Giles’ friend Julie and to pick up a few things. While there a trio of vampires had attacked the store and she, Willow and another witch named Bonnie took them out. The three figured to leave Julie alone and instead meet up today, also having invited one of Bonnie’s friends with her to feel more comfortable.
Slipping into her car she quickly made her way home, changing out of her heels and dress to a more comfortable outfit while still being dressy. She had originally thought to throw on a pair of jeans and a jacket and go like that since she would most likely have to head out for patrol directly after this meeting but then she figured she might as well dress so that others were comfortable around her. The way that Bonnie had acted when she had talked about the supernatural stuff (not that they talked that in depth) made the blonde slayer wonder if she had more than just a second hand knowledge of vampires so she figured dressing to give others a sense of comfort would be easier and more productive.
Looking in the mirror she stared back at her reflection for a moment before nodding in approval. Her outfit was simple but classy, a white dress with a silver waist belt and black jeans. Paired with a pair of sandals that while may not be the most weather appropriate still looked adorable with her outfit. Sliding her sunglasses on to her head because while the sun may not be out it was still bright she quickly grabbed her long black pea coat and slid a stake inside it. Calling out to Willow she quickly grabbed her best friend and hit the road.
Parking she quickly noted that they were the only ones there and turned to her best friend. "Remember, no word about Angel or Spike or Kathy...at least not for the time being. As much as Bonnie being a witch can be a good thing, it can also be a bad thing. I don't know what kind of witch she is so to speak so let's just keep our vampire friends a secret for now, kay?" She asked, knowing that the red head would understand. Once she got the woman's nod she led the way inside, picking a table against the window farthest away from the counter. She didn't need anyone overhearing what she wanted to say.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow made her way down the hallways, she just got done registering for Classes. She was so happy that she was going to be taking them again after all this time, there were some that she was still meaning to take, so she figured now might be the best time to do so. Plus there was a great school near where she lived that she wanted to go to. It was just going to be like the good old days back in school with Buffy, when they stayed in a dorm together. Those were some of the best time in there lives, and now Willow gets to do that again. Well except for the dorm part but the school was enough for her, she was a nerd when it came learning things. There was just something about doing school work that she loved, it didn’t bore her at all. Which could be another reason everyone wanted her to do there home work for them? Willow drove home quickly back to the boarding house, she needed to hurry up and change. They were suppose to be meeting up with Bonnie. She was someone that Buffy and her met the other day at Pathways, well beside the big vampire fight that they had to deal with. But Willow had been hoping to talk with her more, maybe about magic and spells. She seemed like a witch who really knew her stuff, Willow was really interested to find out how she came to be into magic. After she was dressed she hurried down stairs to meet up with Buffy and they were on there way. Finally they were there, but before they could get out Buffy begin to tell Willow something. It almost seemed as though she didn’t know weather to trust Bonnie or not. But can you blame her they have met some untrustworthy witches in there time Amy being one of them, so can never be to careful. “Don’t worry I wont say anything about them, that’s your place to talk about that not mine.” She told her friend with a smile. She then followed her in making her way over to the table with Buffy, taking a seat waiting. Word Count-370 Tagged- Elena, Bonnie and Buffy Outfit- Click for Willow's OutfitNote-~~~~~~~~~~~
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She shoved her books into her locker, only taking the ones that she needed for tonight's homework before slamming it shut. She wanted nothing more than to go to the lake house and curl up with Stefan in front of a fire while they could pretend for a little bit that everything was back to normal. Unfortunately there were still a few days until winter break and even then she had no idea if that particular dream would become a reality. She hated how things were now, having to sneak around as if they were doing something wrong by being together when really it was all because of Klaus.
Shaking her head she quickly shoved the rest of her stuff into her messenger bag and headed towards the bathroom, splashing water on her face in order to try and wake up. She had to go somewhere with Bonnie after school though where she wasn’t sure. Looking in the mirror she frowned at what she saw. A pale face surrounded by lifeless brown hair and dull brown eyes. Okay, so she knew that she wasn’t ugly or anything but she just felt like she looked tired which was not something that an eighteen year old should really ever look like she did.
Noting her jeans and blue long sleeve shirt paired with her converse tennis shoes she shrugged, she figured that she looked like she did pretty much every other day though why it bothered her today she wasn’t sure. Pulling out her brush from her bag she ran it through her hair before putting it back, walking out of the bathroom and headed down the hallway to find Bonnie. “You ready?” She asked, smiling at her best friend. She hoped Caroline wasn’t around because she didn’t want to have to explain why the two were going somewhere without her…not that she really knew anything.
All Bonnie had told her was that she had met some people the day before that wanted to talk to her some more but she didn’t feel comfortable bringing Caroline along. This struck her as odd since out of the three of them Caroline was the one who could protect herself physically but then again maybe she was missing something. Secrets had become a part of their usual these days and while she wasn’t sure when it extended to best friends she figured there was a reason that they were keeping this from Caroline so she let it go…for now.
Bonnie was quite anxious to meet with Willow and Buffy again. They both knew about the supernatural world but at the same time, Bonnie didn’t know what they thought of it. And when one of your best friend was a vampire and the other one was dating a vampire you were careful about the company you kept. So bringing Caroline was out of the question, she was not about to risk the security of one of her best friend. No it would be safer for a first meeting to only have Elena there with her. But perhaps it would be smart to let Elena know what this meeting was all about. While she knew her friend would not do anything stupid, she also wanted to make sure that Elena knew they were meeting a slayer. Someone that was there to kill vampires.
After her class, Bonnie meet with Elena in the halls and nodded. “Yup ready.” she told her taking the books she would need. “Come one I’ll explain everything once we are in the car.” She added. She didn’t want to talk about this here. How did you mention that you had recently killed a vampire and meet a slayer? That had not been what she had planned for the day. She had simply wanted to stop at the magic shop get a few things she would need and get out. But some vampires had showed up and well Bonnie had discovered that Willow and Buffy both knew about the supernatural world. But that didn’t mean that they could be trusted. If anything it made Bonnie even more worried. What if they found out that Caroline was a vampire? Would they go after her and if so, what was Bonnie to do? Could they really fight off a slayer?
Bonnie had done her research and trying to fight off a slayer would most likely be impossible. They were strong, stronger than any human and stronger than most vampires. This meeting was mostly for Bonnie to be able to know what Buffy and Willow were all about and well she was also quiet excited to have meet a fellow witch. Also as far as she was concern, Willow was one powerful witch, especially with what she had seen happened. And she had powerful friends. Well at least on powerful friend. Bonnie walked over to her car and once they were both inside and started the engine. “So I went to pathways the other day.” She started. It was not something new of course. Bonnie had been trying to find another spell she could use to find Matt after the first one had not worked. So far nothing was working and she was starting to get worried.
“So when I was there I meet Buffy and Willow. And willow is a witch…” Bonnie chewed on her lower lip as they drove. “while we were there, three vampires came in and tried to attack us. Everyone is safe and okay.” She added quickly not wanting her friend to be worried. “but see the thing is they not only already knew about the supernatural stuff, they were ready for them…” Bonnie quickly looked at her friend and then back at the road. “I’m pretty sure like almost 100% sure that Buffy is what people refer to as a vampire slayer.” Bonnie was quiet as she waited for her friend to say something. This was big news, big could be pretty awful news.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Hearing what Willow said about Spike, Kathy and Angel being her responsibility made her feel much better. She knew that realistically she should put all her cards out on the table in order to get the witch and whoever else she was bringing to trust them. However she also had to look at it from another stand point which would be what the best way to protect those that she cared about was. She knew that eventually if they did become allies or even friends she would have to tell Bonnie and whoever she brought along about Angel, Kathy and Spike…but for right now she would keep it to herself. She might allude to the fact that she knew a few vampires but she wouldn’t give names nor specifics. Now wasn’t the right time.
Seeing Bonnie and another girl walk in she quickly stopped her train of thoughts and waved letting the dark haired girl know where they were. Looking at Willow she shot a reassuring smile towards the red head, hoping that she would relax a tiny bit. She wasn’t really sure if her best friend was stressed or not since Willow had her resolve face on but if she was then she hoped her smile would calm her down a bit. She wasn’t sure exactly how this meeting would go however she knew that it had to go better than the last did since technically the last one hadn’t been a meeting and it had still ended with vampires attacking them.
The story of her life it seemed.
Seeing the brunette girl who she didn’t know looking a bit confused she smiled what she hoped was a welcoming smile. “Hi, I’m Buffy Summers. This is my best friend Willow Rosenberg.” She stated, hating the thought of a handshake as it seemed a bit too masculine for her so instead gave a sort of wave before rolling her eyes. “And this is much too formal for a bunch of young women. So let’s start over. Hi, I’m Buffy. This is Willow. We met up with Bonnie a few days ago.” She stated before laughing at herself. “Anyway, why don’t we all sit. If you guys want something I’d probably grab it from the counter because it seems as if they have one waitress working had she’s not exactly speedy.” She told them with a shrug, hoping that she didn’t come off as rude or negative.
Once the four were all seated she turned her attention to Bonnie. “Now why don’t you fill us in on what she knows and then we’ll go from there. I’m willing to talk first but I just want to know what I need to repeat and what I don’t.” She told them with a smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The red headed witch sat there patently waiting for Bonnie to show, she knew there conversation was going to be interesting. She was excited to meet another witch, and maybe find out all the magic that she was into. But again Willow wasn’t going to go to asking a lot of questions. One because she didn’t want to scare her off thinking that’s all she cared about, and two the magic over time would bore Buffy. Plus again Buffy was right they didn’t know weather or not they could trust her just yet. They need to get to know her more first. While Willow waited she begin to mess with a straw that was laying on the table, using a bit of magic to move it along the table. Just wiggling it a little bit. She Then suddenly stopped herself realizing she was doing it out in the open, it was a habit that she does sometimes to kill boredom. Moving random things with her mind, it usually done with a pencil. But its not a good habit to take in epically in public. At the school at home everyone knows what Willow does, so using magic all the time was ok. Its not like here where they have to act well normal all the time. She could hear Tara now telling her to stop that nonsense, which she was right Willow knew better then that. Then she notice Bonnie walking in over with someone else with her. Which they weren’t surprised about, they knew that she might be bringing someone else. They just wondered what is was this girl knew about, like did she know about the Supernatural? Did she know that her friend was a witch? Willow looked back at her Buffy giving her the calm resolved face, letting her know that she wasn’t nervous and ready to meet the two. Shortly after they walked over Buffy introduced them to the girls, Willow gave them a little smile standing up to shake there hands. “Hey it nice to see you again Bonnie.” She then looked to other girl to shake her hand. “its nice to meet you.” Willow wondered the same thing that Buffy had asked, what was is that this girl knew. It would make there conversion a whole lot easier knowing what they could and couldn’t talk about, but Willow just had this feeling that she knew more then she let on. --------------------------------------------------Xander was just having one of those days where he didn't want to do anything but was going to go out of his mind if he didn't do anything. He was so bored and he hadn't really hung out with Willow and Buffy in a while so maybe he should do something with them. He went to see where they were and overheard them talking about going to the Richmond Cafe. He quickly went up the stores and changed into a t-shirt and jeans and went back down the stairs to find them gone. Maybe he should have asked them if he could come along so they wouldn't leave, but at least he knew where they were going.
Xander called a taxi since he still needed to get his drivers license. Xander had been procrastinating on that since he had arrived at Richmond which was just bad, he hated not being able to get around without paying for it. He just hoped the two would be there when he arrived, he needed some bonding time with them. To be honest he missed being a teenager, all they had to worry about was the world ending the demons and school work. Then again Xander sucked at school so maybe it is good thing he was an adult, but still he just wished things were the same. Hopefully they wouldn't mind him tagging along.
Once the cab arrived Xander got in it and as soon as he arrived at the cafe he walked in looking for the girls. He had noticed a group of girls at a table and wondered what was happening. Maybe it was something important and he shouldn't bother them? But he did wanted to be included in whatever it was...he wasn't sure what to do exactly. Xander casually walked by them. "Oh! Well, I didn't know you guys would be here," he said pretending to be surprised. Smooth Xander, smooth. "Mind if I pull a chair?" He said waiting for them to answer.
Xander took a chair and turned it around so he could lay his arms on it. "Sorry about that. Hi, I'm Xander," he smiled taking out his hand to the two girls he didn't know. He was hoping this important, he wanted to know the scoop on everything. He didn't want to be left in the dark like Buffy left him in the dark about Angel. He still hadn't talked to Buffy about that and wasn't sure he would but it did hurt a lot. He did understand that she probably thought he'd react in a bad way and she was probably right but hearing it from Angel and what happened made Xander realize he has no reason to be angry but just upset he wasn't told by by her. He wondered if Willow was keeping secrets. If she was too then Xander would just feel left out of the group, well actually more left out then he did right now. If this was actually an important meeting then once again he was excluded from it all. Maybe he just isn't as important to them because he has no special powers or anything.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Following Bonnie to the car she knew her face was a wash of confusion. She had no idea what was going on other than they were going somewhere together and she had to keep it from Caroline. She also was supposed to keep it from Lexi which meant keeping it from Stefan. She knew that Bonnie would never intentionally put her in danger nor would she ever walk head first into a trap but then again a trap was called a trap for reason so she hoped that's not what they were getting ready to do. With their lives one never knew.
Once the two entered the car she quickly put her seat belt on and then turned her body as best as she could so that she was facing Bonnie. "Okay so spill." She told her and then listened intently on the story her friend was telling her. She was confused as to who Willow and Buffy were but kept quiet in order to give the dark haired girl a chance to explain. It was clear once Bonnie was done speaking that she was waiting for her to freak out however the brunette simply stood there and stared at her. “I met a watcher a few weeks ago. He told me about slayers. If this slayer is the same one that he spoke about then I don’t think we have to worry. Apparently she’s not as narrow minded as some of the others.” She told her before shrugging.
“No time like the present to find out.” She told her as they pulled into the parking lot. Unbuckling her seatbelt she stepped out of the car and waited until Bonnie had done the same before walking inside. She was quick to see a blonde girl who looked vaguely familiar though she couldn’t remember where she had seen her before waving over to them. The redhead sitting with her also gave that same air of familiarity but she couldn’t put a face to a name so she ignored it, deciding to dwell on it later.
Listening as the blonde introduced them before reintroducing them in less of a formal way she laughed. "I'm Elena. You already know Bonnie. As for coffee, I think if I drink anymore I'll be bouncing off the walls. Boring classes plus coffee is the only way I got through school today." She stated offhandedly before pulling up a seat and sitting down, looking up at her best friend to ask her to do the same. Something about these two women put her at ease and she had learned by now to trust her instincts.
Hearing the redhead say that it was nice to meet her she smiled. “It’s nice to meet you too.” She responded before turning to Bonnie, waiting for her to lay it out on the table so they could get to talking. Before Bonnie could say anything though a man’s voice startled her and made her jump. She looked up to see a dark haired man who looked around the same age as Buffy and Willow. It seemed as if they knew him judging by the guilty look on Buffy’s face. Hearing his name she smiled. “Elena.” She introduced herself before motioning to her friend. “Bonnie. Nice to meet you.” She told him with a smile, wondering what the tension between him and the blonde was.

Against what Bonnie had been believing, Elena didn’t freak out. Hell her best friend almost didn’t bat an eye as if it was the most normal thing she had heard but soon came the explanation. “Well let’s just hope that it’s the same one. I really doubt that we want to have to fight with a slayer to make sure our friends are okay. She was not the biggest fan of vampires but it didn’t mean that she didn’t care about her friends. She truly did and she would do anything that she could to keep them safe. But fighting a slayer? Now this was not something she believe they were prepare to do.
This was by far the most awkward meeting she had ever had. She was unsure where to start but thankfully Buffy apparently was right in her element and start the talking right away. Bonnie shook her head at the mention of getting something. “Perhaps later.” Truth was she just wanted to get to the talking right away. She needed to know what kind of danger her friends were into. “Nice to see both of your again.” She said with a smile. It was especially true for Willow. It was not that she didn’t like the blonde slayer but she had felt a connection with Willow, probably a witches thing or something. But still she wanted to be able to give Buffy a chance. She didn’t look so bad and maybe they could even manage to make her understand that vampires were not so evil.
She gave a nervous chuckles as Buffy redid the presentation so it didn’t sound so formal. And soon she saw another guy joining them and she tried her best not to show too much of a reaction, she didn’t know that they were bringing someone else but apparently they didn’t as well. For some reason she really doubted that this was all an act that they were just making this up to add someone to the mix without asking. “Pleasure to meet you as well Xander.” She added and she looked back at Buffy and Willow. “So I told Elena about our little encounter at Pathway” bonnie started. She didn’t like to be put in the spot light like this but at the same time she knew that she needed to be the one to explain what was going on. “just like myself, she knows about well everything we saw.” Bonnie didn’t want to have the say the vampire word. She had figured that that Xander guy knew about it all as well but she was not about to take a chance on that. She hated to have to talk in riddles. “We both have known about it for a while. And well Elena here meet a watcher not so long ago.” She turned around to face her best friend. “you never told me his name…” she said perhaps Buffy would know of him or maybe she would even know him. Hell with the way things were going perhaps it would be her watcher and all would be good in the world because it would mean that they didn’t have to worry about their friends anymore.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -It was clear that Willow was in need of some companionship of the witch persuasion with the way that her eyes lit up when Bonnie and the girl who introduced herself as Elena showed up. She tried to hide it with a small smile but it was obvious to her who had known her for years. She felt guilty about this since she had been so wrapped up with her own issues that she hadn't done much for her best friend. Making a mental note right then and there to make sure they spent more best friend time together she quickly put that on the back burner and turned back to the conversation at hand.
Before she could input anything else into the conversation she heard a familiar low voice behind her and she couldn't help but jump, not used to people sneaking up on her. Looking up she met the eyes of her other best friend, one who she had specifically been avoiding since everything had gone down. It had not been a conscious effort to avoid it but it was obvious now that she thought about it that this is exactly what she had been doing. Guilt swelled up in her as she shot him an apologetic look, one that she was sure he would notice but had no idea if he would accept it or not.
She heard him introduce himself and heard the girls respond in like before she snapped out of it. “Xander is our other best friend. Three amigos and all that.” She stated before tilting her head to the side and giving off a confused air. “Or was it the Three Musketeers? I can never remember. Anyway, he’s just as well versed in everything as we are.” She told them, hoping that she was earning herself brownie points with Xander. Turning to him she shot him a smile. “Sit down you goob. Want a sip?” She asked, offering him a sip of her mocha. The three had been friends for so long that they had eaten off of each other’s plates and drank after each other over the years so much that it didn’t even seem like a conscious thing anymore, it was just natural to them.
Pulling her attention once more to the group she smiled at Elena who had stated that she'd be bouncing off the walls if she had more coffee. "See I am the exact opposite. If I don't have coffee in my system I'm dead to the world." She stated before pointing at Willow and mock whispering. "She's the one that you have to worry about the over abundance of caffeine with. She’ll get crazy hyper if she drinks too much. It’s almost scary.” She winked at them before shooting her best friend an innocent smile that clearly said ‘who me?’
Hearing Bonnie’s speech she was surprised to hear that Elena had met a watcher awhile back. Turning to Elena she quirked an eyebrow. “What was his name?” She asked, though it wouldn’t take much to guess. Xander clearly didn’t know them and Andrew had only just gotten into town. However she wanted to make sure that they had really met up with Giles and they weren’t just using it as a way in. She felt badly for thinking that way however she had to keep her friends and loved ones safe by any means necessary.
Turning to Willow she leaned in and whispered in her ear. “Can you put up some sort of privacy spell that lets us hear outside but no one can hear what we’re saying? I don’t want to have to keep things in code and I figure that will be easier. That way we’ll know if someone says anything about us without them hearing what we’re saying.” She told her, hoping she’d know of one that she could help out.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Elena seemed like a nice girl so far which was good maybe, It meant that maybe they could actually trust her. But Willow wasn’t too worried she felt for sure she could trust Bonnie, which was how she knew she could do the same for this girl. Not long after they had all met one another, Willow then noticed Xander making his way over to the table. “Hey Xander what are you doing here?” She asked her best friend. She could tell that he was lying for his reason just by how he was acting, he must have over heard them coming there to meet up with friends. She guessed that Xander must have felt left out, which Willow will admit she had been busy lately She really did need to make time for him more. She then remembered that Buffy and him still have not talked about Angel at all, She wondered the tension that had to be building up between the two. “Xander we don’t mind at all, sit down and have a seat.” Said Willow. She laughed when Buffy tired to explain what they called them self’s “Three Amigos or Three Musketeers they both work, I’m sure some people have even called us the Three Stooges at one time or another.” She said laughing a bit. It was true in High School they were always together, they had most of there Classes together, sat at the same lunch table, they even spent most of there nights hanging out. There really wasn’t a moment they weren’t together. But they were ok with that because they were much more then just friends, they were family forever and always. She had heard Buffy whisper something about Willow and caffeine, which was true she was known for going crazy from it. “ Yeah I cant lie I do get crazy hyper sometimes, but its lot better then how I act on alcohol. Which is why this witch don’t drink.” She said pointing at herself giggling a bit. It seemed as though Elena did know all that was going on which was good. It meant that they didn’t need to hide anything from her, and that they could talk out and the open about things. Even though with all these people around it wasn’t that easy but still. Willow was interested to hear about the watcher that she had met, she could only assume that it was in fact Giles she was speaking of. “So you ran into a watcher huh? What was his name?” She asked. As they were sitting there Buffy leaned over asking Willow for a spell so they could talk easier, she couldn’t lie it was in fact getting hard for them to talk at all about anything. “Sure Buffy I think I put a barrier up so no one can here us talk, I agree this talking in code is getting ridiculous.” She then for a quick moment raised her hand, saying a fast incantation that put up the barrier. A barrier that was in visible to the human eye. “There I think we are good now, we can all talk and not have to worry about what we say. No one can hear us” Word Count-540 Tagged- Elena, Bonnie and Buffy Outfit- Click for Willow's OutfitNote-~~~~~~~~~~~
--------------------------------------------------Xander looked at Buffy and saw her apologetic smile. He wasn't too sure if he was going to forgive her or just kind of stick with the hurt for a little longer. He gave her an unsure smile and looked away. He still had to think about it all. To be honest he was kind of getting tired of being the guy who was the last to know things like missions or just relationships or whatever it was. He thought he could brush it off and he had been brushing it off ever since high school but now he was just done with it in a way. Maybe he should talk to them about it sometime this week, he didn't think he could at the moment since there were these two strangers here.
"I'm just lurking about y'know I was hungry so I decided to munch on something in this cafe," he looked down at his empty hands. "Well...I was going to." He then looked at the two strangers wondering who they were. "It's nice to meet you both," he said with a grin. He had never seen them before but then again all Xander's life he had lived in Sunnydale so he only knew everyone there and then Rome and now this. Maybe he just had to get used to the new faces. First Jo, Dean, and now Bonnie and Elena. Elena and Bonnie seemed liked cool girls actually. "So you say," he muttered under his breath. He then laughed Willow's three stooges joke. The three were inseparable actually, they overcame every single fight and survived with each other it really made them more than a family. They would always be in each other's lives no matter what happened.
Xander looked at Buffy. He really did want a sip of that drink. He was tempted and that's exactly what Buffy wanted. "I am the garbage disposal. Thanks," he grabbed the mocha and took a sip. "Nice. Better than coffee...well I drink the manliest of coffees of course," telling the tables. Although Buffy was being nice it still wasn't enough. "Still not off the hook," he sung. He still had to talk about the whole Angel losing his soul thing, Xander wasn't angry but he wanted to know why Buffy didn't tell him and she couldn't say that she didn't have the time or anything like that, Xander didn't want any excuses. Just the straight truth, hopefully she could do that for him
"Wait, could the first letter of this watcher's name start with a G?" Xander wondered if they knew Giles. If they did then the gang would be in luck. Well, whatever they needed Bonnie and Elena for. He seriously wondered what was so important about this meeting. "Gosh, this code talk has me confused." Soon after that Willow had done a spell to make no one listen in to their conversation. "So, can someone explain now?" He wanted to know now, he didn't want to wait anymore. Was this meeting about vampires? The big bad? All of this was just so confusing, he had hoped that he would find out soon before his brain blew up of confusion. Hopefully someone would fill him in soon.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She didn't say much as the group conversed though when Bonnie brought up her meet and greet with the watcher she nodded. "Yes, I met him at the grill." She told them, ignoring the fact that when she met him he seemed to have been either still a bit drunk or hung-over. "His name was Rupert Giles I believe, though he requested I call him Rupert or Giles." She told them with a shrug, catching the surprised looks on their faces but not acknowledging them. "He told me a tiny bit about slayers though not as much as he seemed to want to tell me." She cautioned.
“We were interrupted before we got to finish our conversation. I had gotten a phone call from someone and had to leave.” She continued on, feeling as if she was under a spotlight and not liking the attention very much. She used to be someone who reveled in attention but not anymore. Ever since her life had taken a 180 when her parents died she had shied away from the attention since she never knew if it was a good type of attention or a bad type. Then when her life became even more chaotic with the whole dating a vampire and birth mother being a vampire thing she had just started keeping out of the spotlight altogether. It was easier to keep large secrets like the ones she had to keep daily if she kept everyone from watching her so closely.
She learned that the hard way.
She was surprised as she watched Xander and Buffy share a drink. She briefly wondered if they were a couple but seeing the way the two conversed she doubted it. His sing sung voice about still not being off the hook also told the tale since she didn't know many couples who could joke about being in the doghouse so to speak. Lord knew when she and Stefan fought it was like World War 3.
Hearing that a privacy barrier was up made her feel a lot better about trying to have this conversation. She felt for some reason that she could trust these people but that didn’t mean there weren’t ears everywhere. “Okay, I’ll give it to you straight. I know more than 1 vampire. I actually am friends with 4.” She told them honestly. “There’s also a hybrid that I’m friends with as well as acquaintances with one of the originals.” She continued. “I’m not giving names until you offer up a bit about yourselves but I will tell you right here and now that I will do everything in my power to protect them.” She stated evenly, though inside she worried if she said too much if she would put Caroline, Lexi, Damon and Stefan in danger. She didn’t want to see anything happen to any of them and she prayed she was right in trusting her judgment.
She didn’t look at Bonnie for fear of the look on her face which she could guess was one of caution and disapproval since they had agreed not to say anything about Caroline (though the doppelganger had a feeling that if Damon was killed Bonnie would be all too happy about that). “So I’ve told you a little, why not return the favor?” She asked, hoping that one of them would tell them something.
Bonnie smiled at Buffy’s comment, she was quite the interesting character this girl and made sure to smile at Xander, she didn’t want him to feel like he was interrupting. Well he actually was interrupting but than again it was not his fault and she didn’t want him to feel bad. For a moment she felt her heart sink as she started to miss Matt because seeing him with those two girls well it kind of reminded him of her friend who was gone, no one knew where. But she couldn’t think about Matt right now, if she did she would get lost in her mind once again and start to worry and beside maybe finding Willow was going to be something helpful she was a powerful witch, perhaps if they joined forces they would be able to find Matt. But that would be all in due time.
Coffee sure made the world go around or something. Like most people Bonnie did drank some coffee but she was not addicted to it like some other people were. She had her morning coffee but most of the time it would just end at that. She was more of a social coffee drinker. “But I’ll make sure to keep an eye on Willow if she starts drinking too much.” She added as she was starting to feel more at ease. She still didn’t like the idea that she had no idea what to think about them but still she wanted to give them a chance and beside it was not like they really had a choice. She wanted to make sure that her friends would be kept safe and with a slayer around you never knew. But with what Elena had told her and that there actually was a slayer around that was open minded perhaps it would help. It was not like her friends were bad people. Well there was Damon but still that was something else completely. They also seemed to have a nice friendship, they couldn’t be so bad right?
Bonnie did catch something in the air coming off from that Xander guy. Like there was some sort of tension going on, but she decided to let it slide. Even the best of the friendships did have their moments. For a moment Bonnie wished she had thought about the whole privacy thing herself but really at the end of the day it didn’t really matter as long as they could talk with more ease. Talking in codes would prove to be more annoying than helpful. She smile at Willow the two of them would have a lot to talk about at some point soon. But right now they needed to focus on something else. And that was of course the vampires.
Looking at Xander than back at his friends, Buffy and Willow, Bonnie was unsure who should be the one to tell him what was going on. She didn’t know if she could trust him and part of her wondered if he could be trusted or if perhaps his friends had not told him about this meeting because he could not be trusted. Whatever it was she didn’t want to take a chance and figured it was better if she let the others bring him up to speed so they could tell him what they believe he should know.
At Elena’s words, Bonnie tried her best to keep her face emotionless but at the same time she was worried. How could she mention all of this so quickly without thinking about the fact that they had no idea really who these people were and what they could do. What if they had been sent by whoever to go after them. It was not like their vampires friends were known to keep out of trouble or anything like that. But thankfully Elena had kept the names out of the conversation which would of course be a start. But still she wanted to make sure that her friends were kept safe and against all odds she was still unsure if she would actually throw Damon to the wolves so to speak. Instead of saying something else, Bonnie decided to keep quiet and wait to see their reaction before she could say something else let them know that their friends were not part of the evil vampires and that they were actually good ones. Well at least most of them were. notes: outfit:Click here
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She had briefly wondered if Willow had introduced Xander behind her back however when she asked him what he was doing there that shot down that idea right there. She couldn't help but be saddened by the fact that her and Xander were once again at odds with one another. He was one of her two best friends and she loved him as if he was her brother, yet they had never agreed on the Angel situation and unfortunately she doubted they ever would. The same could be said about the Spike situation however that one wasn’t as in their faces as the Angel one was.
Hearing Xander’s sing song comment about it not being enough she frowned, hating that he was mad at her especially since it was technically justified. She just hadn’t felt like getting into it with him between arguing with Giles, Glory, and everything in between. Unfortunately he wasn’t going to accept that answer which meant that they were going to have to argue it out and hopefully come out on the other side stronger than ever. At least that was her desire, though if it would happen she wasn’t sure.
The blonde slayer couldn't help but laugh at Willow's comment about the three stooges. "We're way cuter than the stooges, we rarely ever fell down and Xander's laugh doesn't sound like Curly's so I don't think the stooges are the way to go." She stated, shooting Willow a wink. "However three musketeers or three amigos work for me." She stated before taking her drink back from Xander and taking a sip of it, wincing as it burned her tongue. She bit the spot that she had burnt to try and lessen the pain however it didn’t work much, though it did help a tiny bit.
Relieved once Willow put up a barrier she nodded with a smile. "Thanks." She told her, nodding over at the woman at the counter who was glaring at them since it looked as if they had started talking more quietly. She was the one that Buffy had noticed trying to listen in on their conversation and from the way that she was carrying herself she doubted that she would take the induction of vampires and demons into her world very lightly. It was something that the blonde slayer had learned over the years how to deal with people and not telling most people was essential.
Hearing that Elena had met Giles was a surprise to her. She noted a look of concentration on Willow's face as she stared at Elena who had just pulled her hair from in front of her face so they could actually see her better. She was a beautiful girl though why Willow was staring at her so intently she wasn't sure. She didn't think Elena was the redheads type but then again who knew. "Giles is my watcher." She stated simply, not going into any further detail than that. "Actually technically Giles and Xander are both my watchers but either way." She amended, hoping to give Xander a bit more leeway into the conversation.
Buffy would admit to being surprised after hearing how many vampires Elena was friends with. "Well I'll do one ya better." She told her with a smile. "The love of my life is a vampire, his sister is a vampire, one of my best friend's who the love of my life is actually his grandsire is a vampire, I'm decent friends with a demon, I'm good friends though haven't seen him in awhile with a werewolf, and I'm friends with a couple hunters." She told her with a smile, hoping that would help her open up. "Also of course I've got Willow the witch, Xander the watcher, and a couple other slayers around." She stated.
Seeing the look on Bonnie’s face she quirked her eyebrow. “Are you not friends with these people or are there certain ones that you object to?” She asked.
