~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was so much nicer now knowing there was a barrier around them, they were pretty much free to talk about whatever they wanted to. Which was a relief The last thing they needed was a hunter or someone to hear them talk about this stuff. People would just think they are nuts. But then again in this town the people here seemed more aware then Willow had realized. It seemed everyone knew of vampires and werewolf’s. But it was still smart to play it safe to were no one could hear them. It was in fact Giles that Elena had met which was cool it meant that they could trust her, because if she was someone that couldn’t be trusted at all Giles would have told them. He also wouldn’t have told her about Slayers, and it sounded like she was aware of what they were. She listen as Buffy begin to explain him being her watcher and all, which he was great at but he really was so much more then just a watcher. “Yeah Buffy but other then a watcher he is great at being your dad sometimes to” The witch said with a small giggle. “What I mean is he is much more then a watcher, he is more like family to us.” It was true he had been there through thick and thin, Even when Giles wasn’t Buffy watcher anymore he never left any of there sides He was there all the way for them. He was so much more then just a watcher or mentor, he was family. Willow then wondered why Giles had never told them about her, but then again they are always so busy with patrolling when do they ever have time really? It was amazing how much they saw of each other but how rarely they ever just sat down and talked about things. Which could be one of the reasons the tension was so bad between Xander and Buffy. Willow could so tell that there was something he needed to talk to her about, she could read it all over him like a book. It just shows they have been friends far to long. It seemed as though Elena had her share of knowing the Supernatural just like them, she seemed to know and be friends with just as many vampire as they did. “Well don’t worry Elena you can trust us, we only hurt them if they give us a reason to. I myself am friends with more then one vampire.” Willow could tell that she was very close with her friends and would do anything to protect them, she could see it just by the way she spoke about them. It was reminded Willow of someone who was that very same way, who would do anything to keep her friends safe no matter what. Even if that meant giving up her life, which she has done on more then once occasion. To sum it up She knew That Buffy and Elena were going to make great friends. --------------------------------------------------Xander hated when he and Buffy were in a fight, it annoyed him a lot and he just wished that for once they could be okay. He thought they were okay but then with what Angel told him pissed him which created that tension and then Buffy not inviting him here just gave the tension more ammo. He had wished that he could talk to her right now but the timing was bad so maybe another day. To be honest he was just trying to wait it out. Maybe he would stop being mad at her and then there would be no tension but the next fight it would just come back so he would have to mention it at some point, but when? Just hopefully they would be able to talk it out.
"I think the three musketeers suit us the best I mean we fight while the three stooges just you know screw around...Not in a sexual way though!" He always said the wrong things in the dirtiest way without knowing honestly. He face palmed himself feeling totally embarrassed. "Don't mine me embarrassed by my humiliation," he told the girls at the table. Elena and Bonnie seemed like good people, he just knew they were. Something about them made him want to trust them. He actually couldn't wait to get to know them. Elena actually kind of seemed a little like Buffy except Buffy was weirder. But he could tell that she was as brave as Buffy. Maybe he was just reading too much into it. He shouldn't judge a book by its cover yet.
Xander smiled at that. He was glad to be Buffy's watcher, it was a lot of fun and it would mean he would get to spend more time with her. "I'm the fun watcher though," he winked. "Will's right Buff, Giles had been a father to you since high school hell he was more of a father to me than my own dad." Xander hadn't talked to his father much but he didn't care for him much but in a way he did still since it was his father and he couldn't forget him. "Hm, maybe I should start calling him old papa Giles. That should annoy him a little." There were a lot of times where Xander had messed up and Giles was angry and disappointed in him at the same time. Xander elaborated more on the family concept. "On a serious note though, we're all family," he looked at Buffy and Willow with a smile. He then looked at Elena and Bonnie. "They kinda mean the world to me." Xander had no idea what he would do without them, they literally made him complete in a way.
"Bonnie, you're so quiet. You alright?" He hoped Bonnie could trust them, maybe she was just analyzing them, "Well for me, I used to kinda hate vampires. But now I'm totally fine with a few. I'm actually becoming friends with one right now." He totally wanted to be Angel's best friend. He should send him a text after all this, he hadn't talked to his buddy in awhile. Xander would have to tell Buffy about that conversation but first he had to talk about how she didn't tell him Angel lost his soul. God, there was so much stuff they had to talk about and he had to tell Willow as well because she never told him either which kind of upset him. Hopefully a big fight wouldn't occur.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -It wasn't a surprise to her that Bonnie shot her a look that clearly said they would talk about her giving up their friends later. She would have to remind her best friend that she had more of a vested interest in the welfare of their friends more than anyone, hello Stefan and Damon actually meant something (everything) to her rather than Bonnie who even though she didn’t say it often she knew would be happy to see both vampires go up in smoke. Sure she didn’t have as large of an issue with Stefan as she did with Damon (then again most people had issues with Damon) however she also knew that Bonnie blamed them both for things that had happened since coming to Mystic Falls.
She wasn't surprised though she felt like she should be when Buffy admitted to Giles being her watcher. Her surprise was evident though when she admitted that Xander was also her watcher. She couldn't help but turn her head to check Xander out a bit to see if she could tell he was a watcher but gave up after only a moment or so when she realized that she would have never expected that from the younger man.
She laughed a tiny laugh at the look of mock outrage when Willow commented on Giles being Buffy's father. "I'm assuming that he's not your real father meaning that he just tends to act like it sometimes?" She asked before giving Bonnie a same-suffering smile. "I have two people like that. One is my biological mother's ex-husband and yes by the way my life is like a soap opera. Anyway he tends to be my mentor if I need someone but then again I also have to keep him in line so that one all works out. The second one is my boyfriend's brother. He wants to boss me around when he can." She stated, not going into any further detail than that. Again, she didn't know these people that well and while her gut told her that she could trust them she had to be careful and protect those that she loved.
She wasn't sure why but Xander reminded her of someone who would get along with Matt. Just the thought of Matt pulled at her heart strings since they still hadn't heard from him other than a text message she had received from a pre-paid cell phone that told her that he was alright.
Her eyes widened when she realized that she and Buffy had much more in common than they had realized and she felt as if a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. Not many humans fell in love with vampires, well, no, that wasn't true. Not many vampires fell in love with humans and let them live so hearing that someone else was human and going through at least somewhat the same thing that she went through was a huge relief. "How long have you two been together?" She couldn't help but ask. Would she finally have someone to go to with questions that she couldn't ask Stefan or anyone else? Or would she be the person that Buffy went to when she had questions about a human/vampire relationship?
She knew what a sire was and shivered at the word. “You mean the vampire who turned him right? So a grandsire would be the vampire’s sire’s sire?” She asked, before blurting out. “Is a vampire or whatever is sire-bonded to their sire does that mean he’s also sire-bonded to their grandsire?” She asked, having a very bad feeling about this. Not that anyone other than Tyler so far had ever been sire-bonded but for some reason the term stuck in her head and made her extremely weary of the consequences. She knew that Caroline was worried sick about Tyler because there was no way he was interested in even attempting to break the sire-bond but that didn’t mean that there wasn’t a way. Maybe these people could help them?
Remembering what else Buffy said her eyes shot up and she looked slightly alarmed. “Wait…demons!?” She asked.
Apparently as she had been thinking Buffy had noticed Bonnie's facial features and had asked if Bonnie wasn't friends with all of them. She bit her lip to keep from answering for her, interested in what her best friend would say. It seemed as if Xander understood a little bit about what the dark haired girl was feeling because before Bonnie could answer he stated something along the lines of getting along with vampires now though he didn’t used to. Maybe there was hope for their friend after all?
Bonnie was conflicted with this whole thing and the more they talk the less she wanted to be here to be honest. Now donn’t get her wrong, she had not come here to get her vampire ‘friends’ killed or something but still deep down she had hoped to find other people who like her were not best friend with all vampires they seem to encounter. She loved Elena and Caroline deeply but she had started to feel somewhat off around them. It seemed like everyone except herself thought vampires were the best thing since slice bread except her. And well apparently those people were the same. It was a good thing for the vampires of course but she could not help but feel again as if she was different from the rest of them.
She wondered if had she been different, had she not had this hate for vampires, her friendship with Elena and Caroline would have been different. She knew that there had been a point where Caroline would feel left out and appartently it was Bonnie’s turn and she had no idea what she was supposed to do. Maybe she was the one with the problem and not them. After all she had appeared to be the only one in her situation. There had been Matt of course but Matt was gone.
“thank you Willow.” She said feeling at least more comfortable talking about this without worrying that people would either think they were crazy or would listen in to get information because there were people who hated vampires far more than Bonnie ever could. Bonnie would never wish harm on Caroline and Stefan, well at least not anymore or at least not for now. Perhaps she should have taken a coffee it would have given her something to do something to occupy herself with and most likely make her feel less awkward. She smiled when she heard Xander talk that these girls were his family and they meant the world to her. She wanted her friendship like that again. She wanted to be able to feel close to her friends like she had felt before. But Bonnie did raise an eyebrow as she mentioned that Xander was also a watcher. From the small reading she had done she had assumed that watchers were most of the time older, at least older than the slayer they were watching. Perhaps she had been wrong. Well she had been wrong unless Xander was just really young looking.
She listen to Buffy speak and for a moment it was almost as if she was listening to Elena, she would have never guessed the girls had so much in common. It was strange really but she decided to let it go. “Well at least we are all friends with vampires apparently.” She said trying to get into the conversation more and let her gloomy side away. When Buffy spoke to her she had been about to say something but Xander thankfully spoke before she could. At least he might be able to understand where she was coming from since he had not been a fan of vampires the same way she was. “I’m okay.” She said to Xander before turning to Buffy. “it’s not that I object to them completely…” she started. “I’m just not the vampires’ biggest fan.” She admitted. The truth would come out eventually anyway so she would rather be the one to say it so they could move on to something else after that. And she had seen the look on Elena’s face, she figured that her friend could chip in with the true had she decided to lie.
“So if I get this straight you are also friends with demon…” she spoke softly licking her lips. She didn’t like the sound of that one bit. Call her judgemental but she clearly didn’t like the idea of having demons around. Was there even such a thing as a nice demon? Seriously this was turning to be quite the conversation, perhaps her circle of friends was not so bad after all at least they didn’t have any demons as friends right? “What kind of demon?” she had of course came across a few things on demon as she read whether it was on vampires or for her magic and she wondered what kind Buffy would be friends with. notes: outfit:Click here
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -It was clear by the way that Bonnie stated that at least they were all friends with vampires that she didn’t exactly agree with that assessment. She had a feeling that she and Xander might get along since neither of them were huge fans of vampires which meant that Xander might be a good person for Bonnie to talk to. She knew that Xander and spike had become at least a bit friendlier and while she wasn’t sure if he had met Kathy yet she knew that Kathy would win him over, so maybe he could help Bonnie at least deal with vampires a tad better than she was at the moment.
She smiled softly at the dark haired girl. “Not being a huge fan of vampires is something that I think that everyone here can relate to.” She told her, nodding around to all five of them. “Sure it seems that Elena here and I have a few things in common when it comes to them but don’t forget exactly what I am. I am a vampire slayer and have killed more vampires than I really care to admit. The same goes for demons. So please don’t take me for someone who has fluffy bunny feelings for them because I don’t. Most vampires evil and I will be more than happy to kick their butts back to a dusty grave…but I see things in the grey area a lot more than most.” She told her before taking a deep breath.
“However with that being said not all slayers are like me. Most girls before me were ones who would see a vampire and kill it, no questions asked. Giles, my watcher, he was the same way. He’d order me to kill a vampire no matter what kind it was. Then I met the vampire who helped me more times than I could count. I wouldn’t be alive today if it weren’t for him. He changed my way of thinking. Over the years I’ve met a couple others who weren’t evil but for the most part if you didn’t know it already please understand me that most are evil.” She stated, hoping she wasn’t making enemies but wanting them to understand what she meant about being the slayer.
“If you give me the names of your friends I’ll make sure they aren’t harmed by my girls. The only exception to that is if they are hurting people. I won’t make any promises if they kill people, I can’t. But as long as they play by the rules I will guarantee they won’t be harmed.” She told them, this time looking at Elena as it seemed she would be the one who wanted that rule more than anyone. “In exchange I’ll give you the names of those that I know, including the demon and werewolves that are sudo-friends of mine.” She told them before laughing at Bonnie’s question. “Clem is a strange one. He’s a loose-skinned demon, not really sure if there is a technical name for him but if there is I don’t know it.” She answered honestly.
“The werewolf I know is an old friend of ours actually. He was bitten by a werewolf and turned back our Sophomore year of high school.” She told them. Squinting her eyes for a moment she turned to Willow. “Wait, was it our Sophomore year or our Junior year?” She asked before shaking her head. “Not that it really matters but now it’s going to bug me.” Turning back to Elena and Bonnie she tilted an eyebrow. “Alright, I gave you some information, now it’s time to return the favor. Who are those that you want protected?” She asked bluntly, waiting to hear the answer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Xander was cracking Willow up, she couldn’t help but smile to the things he was saying. “We get what you mean Xander, no one thinks you meant it in a sexual way.” The witch said starting to giggle. Three musketeers, three Stooges, or Three amigos, it didn’t matter what they were or what they were labeled has. All that matter was they were best friends who always had each others backs, no matter what. Again they were so much more they were family, and they would do anything for each other. Willow could tell that Xander and Bonnie were going to get along well. It seemed like even though there friends were close with vampires it didn’t mean they were such big fans of them. Xander may act like he does but he has never really liked Angel, it seemed he was always looking for away to get him away from Buffy. But that’s just because he worries for her and doesn’t wasn’t to see her hurt. Which Willow feels the same way about, but at the same time she knows that’s Buffy choice to make. Plus she cant help it she has grown to really like Angel, and knows that deep down in her heart he is the one and only for Buffy. But she will never tell Xander that, he will just have to figure that out for himself and deal with it. Willow agreed with Buffy there were some vampires that they could trust, but most of them they couldn’t. They have killed a lot of vampires, demons, creatures you name it, but that comes with the job in this life. She wondered if the vampires this girl knew were ones they could trust? Because if not that wasn’t going to be good for Elena and Buffy. So maybe they wouldn’t be friends after all, but Willow would really like to hope that wasn’t the case. She was really starting to like the new friends they have made. “Yeah I will make sure nothing comes of them ether and help in anyway that I can, you have my word.” She told Elena with a quick smile. Buffy begin to tell them all that they knew that could be trusted, trying to show they could be trusted as well. Buffy then had said something about her ex Oz the only man she ever loved. “I’m not sure what year that was, its been so long its all just a blur. We deal with so much it seems everything we have gone threw starts to blend together you know.” She really did miss that werewolf and wondered how he had been. Willow had not talked to him in what seemed like forever, she really did miss him and hoped he was well. Willow could tell that this whole thing was not really something that fully interested Bonnie. So she figured why not talked to her a bit, and maybe after all this they could hang out just the two of them. “Hey Bonnie after this if you wanted to we could just hang and talk. Maybe touch base a bit more on magic, or talk about whatever. What you say, want to?” Asked Willow. --------------------------------------------------"Okay, good. Don't want anyone thinking I'm some weirdo y'know," Xander said jokingly. He was glad to be here. Elena and Bonnie seemed like pretty cool people. Xander decided to stay quiet for a little while so he could listen to what was going on. He didn't really get why this was so important though. They should have held this meeting at the boarding house so he didn't have to move far. It was like the eye patch made Xander lazier in everything he did. Lately, it had started to get irritating having only one eye and maybe that was because the gang was back in action rather than staying in Rome. Maybe he would see if he could do some type of surgery at the hospital, that could work but that would probably cost a lot.
So, Xander and Bonnie had something in common. They both didn't like vampires a lot. "Bad experience? Cause that's what made me hate all vampires they killed one of my best friends," Xander said a little sadly. Xander still remembered that day when Jesse was turned and how he had to kill him which he didn't really do since someone bumped into Jesse and Jesse went into the stake. He still missed him though. Xander wondered what life would be like if Jesse was still human, would he be with the gang or just go off somewhere else? "But y'know they're all not that bad. Scratch that they are unless they have a soul or humanity whatever you wanna call it." Maybe Xander could give Bonnie advice on vampires. He could tell she probably had a hard time with it all since Elena was dating one. He could teach her that they really aren't all that bad, maybe if she met Angel or Spike but Spike could be too much.
"Hm, I always thought it was Junior year that he was turned. I could be wrong though. Or was that when Faith came? Or was it both?" God, everything really was just a blur. It all happened so fast. It was pretty sad that the only thing they could reminisce in is their high school years in fighting demons or vampires. But then again there was the normal stuff like heartbreak. "You know what I realized? Me and Will kissed in high school but all along she was gay so I basically ruined my relationship with Cordy for no reason. Then again you and I stopped having feelings when they walked in on us kissing. Things seemed simpler back then though." Xander had to admit as much as hard and crazy things were back then they were definitely way more easier. It was weird thinking of his teenager days. "Then I was jealous of Angel cause he got Buffy," Xander face palmed himself. "Bonnie, Elena never be jealous like I was in high school. Two words, no four; rejection, and major humiliation," he said trying to make the mood happy.
Xander wondered who it was that they wanted to protect. Were they good enough vampires to protect? Well, probably since Bonnie wouldn't have been here but then again Elena seemed like a very convincing person just like Buffy. Xander couldn't help but think of old times but now wasn't the time to think of all that, maybe another day he could. Right now he was getting to know people and finally hanging out with his friends which was a first in a long while. He just wished that they could do this more often. Maybe when things weren't so hectic and busy.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Hearing Bonnie's comment about being friends with vampires actually startled her for a brief moment. Sure they were still friends with Caroline however with that being said Bonnie hadn't exactly been Ms. Ray of Sunshine when it came to their blonde best friend either. She knew that it was tough for the dark haired witch to accept that not only had her friend been turned into a vampire but that she had actively murdered at least one person. Granted she wasn’t sure if Bonnie knew about the police officers that Caroline had killed in order to save Stefan and Damon but she did know about the man at the carnival and that was enough to put Bonnie on edge.
With all of that knowledge it relieved the doppelganger to know that while yes she may be weary of the former homecoming queen that she still considered her to be one of her best friends, something that she knew would please Caroline as well. It didn't surprise her that the dark haired girl explained that she wasn't a huge fan of vampires. And while most would keep their mouths shut since she was of course dating a vampire, she wouldn't let her friend be ridiculed should they decide to do so. “She can’t be held responsible for that either. One of the vampires that we know was not a good person in the beginning. He hurt one of our friends and made it to where she herself was turned, though it was unintentionally.” She stated, being vague for various reasons, the number one reason though was to protect Damon.
She had no idea if she wanted to know what types of demons or that there were demons out there. She probably should have asked about that a long time ago after learning about not only vampires but werewolves as well being real, and yet for some reason it never occurred to her.
She listened intently to the blonde woman's words about slayers, watchers and vampires. She got chills when she heard her talk about killing other vampires, not sure if she wanted Stefan and Damon around her. It wasn't that she didn't trust her but for some reason she knew better than to think that Damon could keep on the right side of things forever. She knew Damon well enough to know that he occasionally got pissed off and decided to take it out on someone and while she always tried to discourage it she couldn't force him to listen to her. However from what she could tell, Buffy could easily do so...violently if necessary.
She shot a look at Bonnie when Buffy told them that if they gave her the vampires names she would return the favor. She prayed she wasn't making the biggest mistake of her life when she opened her mouth to speak. "Our best friend Caroline is the most recently turned vampire. She was turned on accident earlier this year. She was in a car accident and another vampire friend gave her some of his blood to heal her. Unfortunately after that another vampire killed her, meaning she died with vampire blood in her system, thus starting the transition." She told them, trying to keep as blunt possible. "She didn't have anyone with her and since she was in the hospital she drank blood, thus completing the transition. She has been great though and wouldn't hurt a fly. Unless you said something about her fashion sense, then she might have an all out cat fight." She stated, laughing though it was clearly forced.
Before she could continue she felt a vibrating against her pocket. Looking down she noted it was Stefan. “Excuse me.” She told them before standing and walking outside, never noticing that she had left the bubble that had protected them from the outside noises.

-------------------------- --------------------------
Bonnie was thankful that Buffy seen to understand and was not judging her. She didn’t want the blonde slayer to think she was going to go off and kill all of their vampire friends or something. She gave her a small smile and nodded. Some were not bad. Bonnie didn’t have anything against Caroline well she would have liked it better if her best friend had not been a vampire bit there was nothing she could do to change that. She didn’t really accepted but she was starting to learn to live with it. “Is it safe to guess you are talking about the vampire who is the love of your life?” she asked Buffy hoping that she was not asking questions that would make her uncomfortable because it really was not was she was aiming for. “wait are you saying there is more than one slayer?” Bonnie asked raising an eyebrow. I’ve read that there could only be one and a new one was only send when the current one passes away…” Perhaps she had misread the information or something. But she figured that Buffy would be able to explain this whole thing to her. The dark hair witched had tried her best to read as much as possible on slayers after meeting with Buffy because she had been curious but being able to hear it straight from the mouth of the slayer now that would be something else. She was not sure if she liked the idea of a loose skinned demon but she didn’t want to push the issue too much. She had not wanted to come to this meeting to judge them. Listening to the back and forward between the three of them, Bonnie wondered if the experiences they had share had made their friendship stronger and if so, why hadn’t it worked for her and her friends? Maybe she was the one who had been wrong all along. Seeing the three of them together in front of her did put some things into perspective, Xander was not the biggest fan of vampires like she was and yet he had managed to make it work. She would need to talk to him later on and see how he had dealt with the situation and found a way to make things work. Did it have something to do with his friends? Had he made the changes for them? Had he done an exceptions for his friends’ sake? It would be nice to have someone around who understood what she was going through. Bonnie licked her lips wondering how they were supposed to fully trust them. She wanted to. She looked over at Elena and wondered how her friend was dealing with the whole thing. She figured it would be easier if Elena was the one to talk about their friends because well she was the one who had most likely their best interest at heart. Bonnie knew that she would have Caroline’s best interest at heart but she could not be sure for the rest of their friends, well Elena’s friends. She was glad that Elena had found someone that made her happy but she just wished she had found someone who made her happy who was human.
Bonnie smiled brightly at Willow. ‘’I would really like that actually.’’ She said. it would be nice to get to know Willow on a personal basis. While she could slightly get a sense of how the girl was by this little meeting, it would be a lot different once she actually really got to know her one on one. And beside, maybe Willow would be able to help her with finding where Matt was. Willow had seem like quite the powerful witch. She also wanted to get to know Buffy and Xander. But there was something about Willow. And well she wanted to talk to Xander because she felt like both of them were on the same page about vampires. It would be nice to have someone to talk to whom she knew would not judge her about what she said. or which whom she would know that she was not about to hurt because of the words she could speak about vampires. But if there was one thing that Bonnie was glad, was that at the end of the day even when things were not perfect between Elena and herself, both women always had each other’s back. Like right now, Elena was doing her best to explain the reasons behind why she felt the way she did for vampires. Bonnie looked over at Elena and gave her a small smile. It was good to know that she understood her on a certain level. When it came to giving the names, she was also glad that Elena had took control. But she only got a chance to talk about Caroline before leaving and Bonnie watched her leave to take a call. ‘’well there are also Elena’s boyfriend whom you have already heard about…’’ she started as she kept looking over her shoulder to make sure her friend was okay.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She saw a tiny spark of sadness when she had mentioned Oz in Willow’s eyes though it was gone before she could truly decipher it. She had always wondered if Willow was truly someone who loved women or if it was that she had fallen in love with Tara and it hadn’t mattered that she was a woman. She had watched Willow and Oz together and she knew without a doubt that the two of them had loved one another, so what had changed? It was never a topic of conversation that the two had felt the need to have but it was something that she wondered about every once in awhile.
She smiled at the red haired witch when she extended a common bond to Bonnie. She knew that Willow needed more friends of the wiccan persuasion and from the small a bit of time that she had known her she had a feeling that the two would become good friends. They both seemed rather shy yet strong and that was something that one didn't often find in women. It was usually one or the other.
She bowed her head sadly when she heard Xander's statement about killing one of his best friends. She knew it was selfish to say but she rarely thought about Jesse anymore, only because she truly hadn't known him that well. She had only met him once or twice before he was turned by whom she assumed was Darla though she had never truly found out. She had forgotten that Xander's hatred for vampires had extended that far back, having only thought it was because of Angel. Granted she had known that it had killed him to stake Jesse while it hadn't been intentional, she hadn't realized that was what started his absolute hatred for the entire lot of them.
It seemed even after all these years there were still things that she didn’t know about her best friends and that they didn’t know about her. She wasn’t sure how that made her feel and quickly decided to put that to the back burner to think upon it another day.
She laughed at the three of them, clearly none of them knowing what was going on. "I think we need to have Andrew actually start to document everything, as long as he doesn't walk around with the video camera again...clearly we're getting old and senile since we can't remember basic things." She told them before thinking deeply and her eyes clouding over as she remembered in detail what had gone on. "It was our junior year." She stated simply. "It was a month or so after my seventeenth birthday." She stated, knowing that it would mean just as much to Willow and Xander as it did to her.
Her seventeenth birthday had been something that they rarely discussed but everyone knew about it. So they would know what she meant and how she remembered. "As for Faith coming into town, that was our senior year. Remember? I didn't get to start with you guys?" She asked, again remembering that time period clearly not that she had truly thought about it.
She shook her head at Xander's rambling. "Xand, you’re babbling. Did you have coffee today? I thought we had talked about this. No, wait that was Willow. Arg. No more coffee for anyone. Period." She stated with a laugh, clearly trying to avoid talking about Willow being gay and his jealousy over Angel.
Finally Elena started speaking and as she did Buffy listened intently, wanting to make sure she heard everything. Hearing that one of Elena's vampire friends hadn't been good in the beginning set her on edge but she ignored it for the moment, knowing she would have to make her own conclusions after she heard everything. Hearing that her best friend Caroline was a newer vampire made her start and she had to interrupt. "Wait, Caroline? Did she by chance start dating a guy named Dean recently?" She asked before rolling her eyes. "Wait, don't even answer that. It's my luck that this would be happening so I'm going to guess the answer is yes." She stated, mumbling about small worlds before motioning for the younger brunette to continue.
She watched as Elena stood up and walked away before turning her attention to Bonnie. She saw that the dark haired girl was clearly uncomfortable talking about the vampires without her friend so she smiled in acknowledgement. "Why don't the three of you talk and I'll go make sure she's okay." She told her, nodding her head to the window before standing up and walking outside to make sure that Elena was alright. From the look on her face she was hearing something she didn't want to and for some reason she felt the need to check in with the younger girl.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow was excited to hear that Bonnie wanted to get to know her more and work on Magic, she really did need more friends into the art of magic. There weren’t many that were heavy into anything wiccin these days, so it was nice to find someone who was. She knew that Bonnie and her were going to make a good team when it came to magic. “Well good I would like that too, before we leave here we can set a date and time of when to hang.” Said Willow. “We can ether hang at the boarding house or the magic shop pathways, whichever it don’t matter to me.” She was so excited she couldn’t wait, she was dying to try some new spells with someone who understood magic. It was so much more interesting doing magic with someone who gets it, any other person would just think it is something neat. But there was so much more that went into it, it wasn’t just sparks, fire and lighting. Magic was an art that was hard to master. It really was sad with what happened with Jesse Willow always remembers how close they were, but as always had to die along with everyone else that they know. Willow thought it was funny that Xander was bringing up the time that they were together, but she really didn’t agree with him. Even though she was gay it wasn’t pointless, Willow always did care and love Xander. There wasn’t any part of that time that didn’t mean anything to her, deep down there will always be a little part that love him always. Buffy was right Xander was kind of babbling a bit, that did sometimes happen when he drank coffee or when he was nervous. It really was crazy how long they have been friends, it seemed like forever really. But to willow they were so much more then friends they were more like family, only family she had really. Willow doesn’t even talk to her parents anymore, well it doesn’t help that they did try to burn her at the stake something she will never forget. Plus they would never accept the fact that she is a gay and a witch. But not the gang they will always love and accept her for who she is, and that is true family. She had said something about her friend Caroline who was a vampire, it seemed as though Buffy all ready had known of her. Willow couldn’t help but be shocked to hear that Dean was dating her. “What a minute Buffy I though that Dean was a hunter? Last I checked hunters didn’t make BFFs with vampire let alone date them. Really shows what I know huh?” She said with a giggle. Yes Buffy may be dating a vampire so maybe she should be shocked, but she really isn’t like everyone else she was different in that way. On top of that Willow has known some hunters and most the time they hate vampires no matter what. Willow watched as Elena got up from the table, she really didn’t know why she didn’t need to hide anything from them they were all friends here that she could trust. “Is everything ok?” the witch asked. --------------------------------------------------Xander had missed Oz greatly. After Jesse's death Oz came and was of course Willow's boyfriend but he was also Xander's guy best friend. Out of all the guy friends Xander had he probably liked Oz the most and that was because the two got along pretty well. One was chatty and the other was basically just a mute, Xander wondered how Willow could hold a conversation with him. None of that really mattered anymore though considering it was high school, Xander liked his life now even if him and Buffy were once again in a tense situation.
"You're right Buff, I think we're getting at that stage in our life. And I'm sure Andrew would be more than happy to use his camera again. Unless I hid it...Nah, I'm pretty sure that boy is secretly videotaping us right now," he said jokingly. Xander used to find Andrew extremely annoying but then the boy just kind of grew on him. Andrew did have his days where he was really annoying but now Xander could tolerate it, the two were actually good friends which surprised Xander himself. They usually text and such, Xander would probably fill him in on what happened today. Xander knew what it felt like to be left in the dark and he didn't want that happening to anyone else.
"Oh, Deano! He as going off about how he had a girlfriend the last time I saw him." Xander actually missed Dean. The two had a really great time the last time they hung out and they were supposed to go out for beers soon enough so that made him happy. Dean was a cool guy and loved cars a lot which made Xander pretty happy that he could relate to someone. Xander still loved his comic books but he did enjoy looking at cars as well, so he wasn't a total nerd. "And just because he is a hunter doesn't mean he can't date a vampire I mean look at Buff here, she's dating a vampire and is a slayer so obviously the law doesn't apply to everyone," maybe there was a little attitude behind his voice. Xander wanted to say more but resisted. She had slept with Spike who was another vampire so obviously hunters and slayers disliking vampires wasn't a fact, they could get along with them.
Elena got up to talk to someone on the phone and Xander just watched while Buffy went up to see her and he then turned around. "So Bonnie, do you want my number? I know what your going through except for the wicca part obviously because I'm no witch, warlock, or whatever," he said with a smile. "But I know the hatred for vampire thing." Xander wanted to help her. She didn't have to hate all vampires but it was pretty hard when the ones she knew probably did something for her to blame them. Xander had definitely been in her shoes in the past and he was probably the only one that understood how she felt exactly. If she wanted his number he'd text her right away and just at least talk about the things they needed to discuss.
"So, was this meeting just about protecting loved ones or something? Or is there something I'm missing Will?" He looked at her and then looked at Bonnie. He really didn't buy that this meeting was just about protecting people, there had to be more to the story, it couldn't be just that. Xander just wanted to be included by them and hopefully they would include him because he was tired of being left out, he was just as important as them although he didn't have any magic powers so that could be another factor. He just hoped his friends weren't keeping anything from him, besides they were basically still keeping the secret that Angel became Angelus which he really thought they would fess up by now but apparently he was giving them too much credit.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She quickly ended her conversation with Stefan who luckily wasn’t calling to tell her anything was wrong, was just calling to let her know that Lexi had asked him to meet her somewhere to meet someone and that he would be busy for a few hours. Before she could turn around however she felt someone walk up beside her. Looking over she smiled a little uncertainly at Buffy.” Hi.” She told her. She listened as the blonde explained that she had come out to check on her to make sure everything was okay. “Yeah, I just didn’t want to annoy people with talking on the phone.” She answered and was surprised when Buffy laughed.
Don’t worry, none of us would have been annoyed. But I am sensing that you also stepped outside because it was someone who doesn’t know you’re here talking to us?
The blonde slayer asked and Elena nodded sheepishly. “It was my boyfriend, Stefan. If he would have known that I was meeting a vampire slayer, not that I knew before I came mind you, but if he would have known he would have wanted to come to make sure we were safe and even if I had known I wouldn’t have told him since I didn’t know if we could trust you.” She told her honestly. If it makes you feel any better Angel, I’d call him my boyfriend but he’s really not since we’ve had more relationship trials than most judges see, but anyway he doesn’t know that I’m meeting up with another witch either. Magic makes him nervous depending on the type and he knows that my best friend has it under control but some others don’t. If he would have known we were meeting up with Bonnie today, he would have insisted on coming, or he would have just pretended that he didn’t mind and lurked outside. She heard the blonde laugh and it made her smile. “Should we try and get all of our groups together so we can meet each other? I don’t know if everyone would get along but it may not hurt, so that each of them know who not to hurt?” She asked and was surprised when Buffy nodded along with her. That’s probably a good idea. Angel and Spike, the other vampire, they both patrol without me as does Faith, another slayer. I’m not always with them so they probably should learn who everyone is. Let me talk to my group and you can talk to yours with Bonnie. Elena nodded and took out her cell phone, exchanging hers with the blondes as they both put each other’s numbers in before retrieving their own phone. The brunette followed the blonde back into the café and sat back down next to her best friend, smiling when she sat down so everyone would know that her and Buffy hadn’t argued or anything, though she doubted they would since they seemed to be getting along fairly well. “So what did we miss?” She asked Bonnie. There was apparently a lot of people in their lives but than again the same could be said about their own little group, and since as far as she could tell the group in front of them had apparently a few years on them it was safe to say that had most likely meet a lot of people who could have been part of the supernatural world. For a moment she wondered if perhaps it was something that a lot of people dealt with or maybe it was just that once you were part of the supernatural world you kind of attacked people like that? She really was going to have to try and find an answer to that question. Not that it would really change something at the end of the day but she was rather curious. And right now it was rather annoying.
“Sure that would be lovely.” She told willow. And well if she found out that she was right and that she could really trust Willow maybe the redhead would be able to help her with finding out where Matt was. If only she could find out if her friend was safe…but she could not think about this right now, if she did she was going to drive herself mad. “maybe we could meet at the boarding house and if we ever need something we could go to pathways.” While she did love going to pathways doing actual magic with someone who would understand it was far more interesting. “but yes let’s find a time to meet soon.” She added with a smile on her face. This meeting was not as bad as it had been when they had first started.
When Xander spoke she raised an eyebrow. “Wait do you guys have like a stalker or something like that?” she asked rather confused about the whole thing and she could not help but look over her shoulder wondering if someone was actually watching them. She had heard the laugh in Xander’s voice and yet she didn’t feel fully at ease with the whole thing.
Seeing them talk with such ease helped her realise just how important friends were and she made a pact with herself that she was going to start to be more understanding of Elena and specially Caroline. “yeah I guess that hunter should hate vampires but apparently those rules don’t apply around here.” she said with a laugh, referring to the fact that a slayer was apparently madly in love with a vampire. People were not always what they seemed to be.
When Buffy said that she was going to go and see if Elena was okay, Bonnie almost wanted to tell her that as Elena’s friend she could easily do that but since the two girls already had a lot of common maybe it was a good idea to let them bond over something and beside it was not like she was going to attack Elena or something like that. She nodded. “sounds good Buffy.” She said nicely. Before looking back at the other two. “I’m sure everything is fine…” she said though she couldn’t be sure you never really knew if things were going to good. The universe tends to have a way to hit them across the head.
Bonnie looked back at Xander. “Id really like that. It be nice to talk with someone who understands and since you have apparently managed to get over it all it would be great to talk you know?” she really wanted to stop hating vampires and well the best way to do that was maybe to talk with someone who had hated them as much as she did and had managed to get over it at some point. And she felt like she could be honest with him without having to fear how he would react because he had always been there before and most likely still was not always at ease around vampires. At least some of them.
“Well I think it was mostly about that but also get a chance to know one another, I mean I’ve just meet Willow and Buffy at Pathways and let’s just say that our meeting was nothing but normal.” She laughed. It had been the first time she had slayed a vampire so it kind of start the friendship in a strange way of course. But then again that could easily make good friends, and it gave a cool story to tell people, well people who could deal with that sort of information of course.
“Didn’t miss all that much. Just making friends.” Bonnie said with a smile before looking over at Elena. “is everything okay?” she did have a look that said that things were great but then again, Elena could be quite good at hiding what she was feeling. notes: outfit:Click here
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Walking back into the café with Elena the blonde slayer felt a sort of camaraderie with the brunette. She knew that there was about a seven year age different but they both had a lot in common. She briefly wondered if Elena had ever considered becoming a vampire, because she as the slayer had not. She knew that realistically that any other human girl who met a vampire who she fell in love with (not that this happened often since most vampires cared for nothing but hunting and feeding) would probably think about it as a way to stay with that person forever…so she wondered about Elena.
Something told her that she had thought about it and had dismissed it. She wasn’t sure why but she didn’t see Elena as someone who wanted to be turned, much like herself. However she also would admit that she had never seen Elena and her boyfriend together and had only met Elena herself about an hour or so before hand, thus giving her no real frame of reference for her observation other than her years of being a slayer and observing people as she had much of her adult and teenage life.
Hearing Bonnie’s question she answered before Elena could. “Everything’s good. We were just talking about possibly getting all of us together here in a week or so and letting everyone meet everyone else.” She stated, holding up a hand to quell the disbelief that she was sure was there. “Before anyone says anything I have a method on why I do think that this is necessary.” She told them. “Think about it this way…I patrol the cemeteries nightly, but so do quite a few others. What would happen if Spike ran into one of their vampire friends and staked them? There’d be a war that could be easily avoided if we knew who everyone else was.” She continued on, hoping they would see her point.
Looking outside it didn’t surprise her that the sun was slowly setting. She needed to get home and change before meeting Angel for patrol. She knew that he wasn’t going to be impressed with her meeting who could have been enemies (even though they weren’t) without him but he’d get over it. Realistically she knew that she needed to start including him on things such as this but she wasn’t used to having a partner of sorts again so it was taking her a bit longer than she would have cared to admit in order to get used to depending on someone again.
“Alright not to cut this meeting short but I have to patrol tonight.” She stated before seeing the confused looks on the two younger girls’ faces and explaining. “I have to work the cemeteries tonight, which sounds really wrong but you know what I mean.” She laughed with an embarrassed shrug. “You girls okay getting home?” She asked, realistically knowing that they would be fine but feeling the need to ask as well. Once she left a tip on the table (not that anyone had bothered them but it was just something she did) she led the group out, waving at Elena and Bonnie and motioning for Willow and Xander to come with her. Turning back at to her two best friends so she was walking backwards while talking to them she smiled. “This weekend, best friends night, just the three of us. Deal?” She asked with a smile, hoping that they would agree.
