 Ruby was driving along in her mustang trying to find a magic store, she was hoping that maybe she could find a spell that might help her find Dean and Sam. She still wasn’t having much luck, but she wasn’t worry she knew she would find him some how some way. She still wanted to stick to him for what happened back with Gabriel. Plus she wouldn’t mind seeing Sam either. Ruby had came to a store that said read Mystic Valley, Ruby pulled into the parking lot to park the car. “Finely! It only took me an hour to find a the fucking place!” Ruby said to herself. Ruby got out of the car and started to make her way to the magic store.
Ruby walked into the store as the bell rang behind her, she looked around at how big the store. This place for sure had everything that she could ever need, which was good because she needed to find a spell and fast. This was all ready taking she longer then she wanted it to all ready, so she needed to get on it. she walked over to the book case a grabbed out the first book in the shelf that she found, she opened it up taking a look into the book. So far it seemed like it might do for what she needed, “This will work I guess.” said Ruby to herself.
Ruby Then walked over to the register with the book in her hand and things she needed for a spell, she then told the cashier this was all that she needed wanting to buy it all quickly. All she wanted to do was get what she what she came for and get out. She didn’t really love magic shops at all that much, it kind of reminded her of her past of being a witch before she was ever a demon. Not really something she like to remember with witches being whores in all. But sometimes Magic is still needed in times, which is why Ruby still uses it to this day Even if she hates it.

It had been so long then the worst year of her life. A year that she really wanted to just forget had ever happened. But she couldn't. How could you just forget about being possessed for that long? It was well near impossible. That was for sure. She wanted to find that demon that had possessed her for so long. That made her lose one year of her life. But so far the girl had had no luck yet. It all felt like some horrid dream. But was it so important to get revenge on the one demon that had taken a year from her? To her, yes. But it was not as important as she made it be. Killing the demon, it would not change anything. She would never get that year back. But in the meantime, she has been doing what she did best. Traveling the country, taking on cases... hunting the supernatural.
About a week a so ago, she ended up in Mystic Falls, Virginia. A town she actually had never been in before. There seemed to be something going on here. But she just was not sure what yet. She had done some research at the library and on her laptop, but still came up empty handed. Skyler had decided to go out for a drive, to take a break. She really needed a break.
Leaving her motel room, she got into her car, and pulled out of the parking lot. And after driving around for awhile, ended up pulling into the parking lot of some magic shop. She thought maybe she could find some books in the shop that might help her track someone down. A demon to be exact. It was worth a shot, right? Skyler really did think so. Grabbing her bag, she got out of her car and walked into the store, browsing aisles and finally coming across some book that might help her out. It was not a for sure thing. But it was worth the shot. She grabbed the book and headed to the front counter, standing behind a dark haired girl. Her voice, the way she talked. There was something about her that seemed very familiar. But she could not place a finger on it. Shaking away her thoughts, she just waited for the girl in front of her to finish.

Ruby stood there waiting to pay for her book, but as always the person ringing people put was as slow as slow could be. But that was humans for you taking there sweet time knowing they are getting paid no matter what, They just make Ruby so sick. She doesn’t even get why god felt he needed to create humans, they are nothing but a waste of space on this plaint. Everything they do makes her want to puke her guts out, hell she hates the fact she has to use a human body just to get around. But she had no choice in this matter, its just a good thing no one is in this vassal. All the rooms in this head are empty, thank god.
Ruby then finally paid for what she had came for, but as she started to walk away she notice something about the person that was next. Giving her a weird look as she walked away Ruby knew she had seen this girl before. So she turned back to get a better look and when she did she knew who it was. She remembers that face better then that girl might even know herself. It was in fact the first human vassal that she used. It made the demon kind of mad to see her walk around and use that body, because Ruby never really was done with the vassal. She just couldn’t find it again or did she have the time. She remembers being side of that body, being tall yet slender, strong but beautiful. Don’t get ruby wrong she loves the body she has now, but to see someone use the body she once had and loved made her want them dead.
She had to say something to her see if she feels a familiar feeling being around Ruby, she knew the girl probably wasn’t going to who she was but it would be fun to mess with her head and see. So she waited till the girl was done checking out before walking up to her, but when she was Ruby slowly made her way over to the girl. “Hi I’m sorry but do I know you?” She asked the girl. “I’m sorry I just feel as though we have met before. But then again I could be crazy, are you new to this town then?”

When the cashier rang up her order, Skyler pulled her wallet from her bag and pulled out the money, handing it to the woman. She grabbed the book and began to walk towards the door. That was until, however, a young woman walked over to her. She stopped in her tracks and looked up at the girl. There was something familiar. What was it, though? Skyler had no idea. She didn't look like anyone she'd seen before. But being a hunter and all, well, you meet a lot of different people. So, it was possible that they have crossed paths in the past.
Looking the girl up and down, she finally looked straight up at the girl, putting on a bit of a smirk. She was the type of girl who always left her guard up, who showed others that she was not the kind of girl that you would want to mess with. It was just who she was. Skyler never liked to let her guard down, to show any form of vulnerability. She shoved the book she had just bought into her bag and folded her arms over her chest, looking back to the other woman. ”I'm sorry. You must have me confused with someone else.” There seemed to be a bit of a icy tone in her voice. It was not intentional, really. It just tended to come naturally. ”And yeah. I'm rather new to this town. Why do you want to know?” Skyler just watched the girl closely, looking for some kind of reaction from her. Anything, really.

To Ruby it was like she was looking at herself in a mirror, she looked up and down checking the girl out slowly. How she missed that vassal so, she missed the long blond hair, with the blue eyes, and smoking Body to go along with it. Ruby liked to think she strutted it well. She wasn’t so sure about this girl though, just by stading here she could tell there was something she didn’t like about her. The demon just wasn’t sure what it was yet, but then again maybe it was just the fact that she had her body. Or at lest Ruby like to still think of it has hers, nothing will change that.
She didn’t know why but there was just something about this vessel she like more then all the others, which is why she tired to find it again and just couldn’t. she looked and looked till finally she gave up looking, she had to saddle for some stupid secretary who was sleeping with her boss to get a rise. A pathetic waste of a human, but its what Ruby had to do to get around. That was in till Sam made her get rid of the body forcing her to find a new. Which is who she walks around in now, a dead empty like Vassal with only her to embody it. Ruby cant lie she does kind of like that, not having to hear all the voices in her head over and over again. But a part of her will always miss the one this girl walks in now, whatever the fuck her name is again.
She could tell the girl didn’t remember or know who she was, she seemed so lost Ruby was loving every minute of it. “Oh I’m sorry I guess I do, I would have sworn I knew you from some where.” She liked this girls attitude she remembered it was one the reasons she took the body in the first place. “Sorry to be nosey I’m just new here myself, though I would try and make a friend. Pretty cool magic store huh what you get? That is if you don’t mind me asking”

Back when she was possessed, it seemed to have ruined everything. Though, what did she really have to live for? Other than saving people's lives, that was. She takes after her father. He, too, was a hunter. And she had always admired him for it. But then something happened. He was killed on a job. And she was stuck having to live with her mother and brother. God, she just could not get along with them. No matter how hard she actually tried. Skyler never thought she liked any of this hunting job. When she was little, she could still remember how both of her parents argued about it constantly. But her father was never going to give it up. And neither would she. A part of the young hunter was sure that both her mother and her brother hated her for it. Probably thought of her as a freak. She was only sixteen when she ran away, planning on making it on her own.
And not long later, was possessed. For a whole freaking year. She never ran into her family again. Never saw them again. She was so young when she was possessed and now she was twenty-three. Still doing what she loved. What she was meant to do. Some things just will never change. And this was one of those things.
The book. What had she gotten? To be absolutely honest, Skyler hated witches and witchcraft. It all seemed to be a pain in the ass. Doing her job, she had run into a few witches a couple times. And they all seemed to be the same. With the lame ass hexing and whatnot. But these were desperate times. Skyler placed a hand on her bag. ”Just some stupid book. I've been trying to find something for years. And when I do, all hell will break loose. But that is all that I am willing to say about what I bought. Though, otherwise, I think magic is just a pain in the ass.” Her tone was definitely not friendly and honestly, Skyler really did not care. She was just not a people person. And she was not all that great with socializing. She never had been.

Ruby missed being in that pathetic girl, if she remembered right she was so empty inside nothing but a crying soul. She could always feel a girl that had missed her family lost from home, but what she felt the most was fear of her brother and mother hating her for something. She never was really sure of what it was but she knew it was something, but that didn’t matter what mattered was the job Ruby had to do. She had to convince Sam to trust her, tell him what he needed to hear. That way they could take down Lilith. Other wise they never could have broken the seal to release Lucifer himself, it was a job well done to if Dean wouldn’t have sent him back packing.
She could tell that the girl was still damaged inside just by how distance she seemed, which just kind of made Ruby want to laugh deep down. She knew that she must have really done a number on her, but then again Ruby has that affect on people. She though it was funny that the girl really didn’t want to talk about the book that she had in her hand, almost like she was hiding something. “Yeah Magic can be a pain in the ass, but then again it depends on how you use it. I myself have been messing with it for a long time, but I don’t really think of myself as a witch at lest not anymore.” She said giving her a smile.
It seemed as though the girl needed magic for something she was looking for, which made Ruby want to know what it was. “Well like I said I have been using magic for awhile, maybe I can gave you a hand. What is it that you said you were trying to find?” She asked the girl hoping she could tell her.

Why was this girl asking so many questions? It was not like they were friends, or even knew each other. Well, at least not that she could recall. But there was just something that was so familiar about this girl that Skyler just could not shake. Like she knew her from somewhere. But where? Where could that have been? Though, the young hunter tried to shake the feeling of familiarity. For now, at least. She would just have to figure it out later. When she actually had the time to. But for now, she had bigger problems to deal with. Though, she had no idea (yet, that was) that the problem was standing right in front of her.
”Look, not that it is any of your business, but I am just trying to find someone. Someone that I have been looking for for many years now.” There was that hint of anger in her voice. But not towards the girl. But at the demon that possessed her. Not having any idea that the demon was standing in front of her.
She glared at the young woman for a moment and then looking away for a moment, Skyler looked down at her bag and shoved the book into her bag. ”You may know a little something about spells and witchcraft...” She looked from her bag and bag up at the woman. ”...but I actually prefer working alone. It's no offense to you. I'm just not a girl who works well with others.” She never had been. She could be sarcastic, mean. She was a fight first, ask questions later type of girl. And to be perfectly honest, Skyler's socializing skills were really not all that great, either.

Ruby could tell that that she really didn’t want to tell her why she had that book, but from what it sounded like it seemed as though It was because of Ruby. It seemed like she was still determined to find the demon that took over her body, but what she didn’t know was that she was standing right in front of her. Ruby was the demon that once walked in her shoes, used her to how she saw fit. “Well I know how that goes I have been looking for someone a while myself, sucks don’t it not being able to find what you are looking for.” She was referring to still not being able to get her hand on Dean Winchester, still wanting to kill him for all the trouble he was made for her. But she wasn’t to worry she knew that soon she find him, and with a little help from Kol she knew that would make it even easier.
The one thing that Ruby though was funny about the girl was how much she reminded her of herself, just the attitude she had sound a lot like her. Which may have been a big part of why she took the girl in the first place. “Yeah I get that, I don’t play well with others myself. Other people can just get in the way and make things a whole lot harder. Sorry to be noise I just though you might like some help.” Ruby said getting a bit of attitude now. “Can I ask how you expect to find what you are looking for with out any help. I mean you never know what you are looking could be right in front of you.” She said giving the girl an evil like smile.

This girl. There was just something about her. Something that seemed so... familiar. It was bugging Skyler because she could not understand why, either. She tilted her head, slightly, looking at the girl. This girl definitely had an attitude. And the way that she just talked and that smirk. And... ”Well, we could all use a little help now and then. The question is, whether or not that person will accept the help. Now isn't it?” She glared at the girl. She definitely was not liking her one bit. But she did not want to leave this girl yet either. Not until she could figure out why she seemed so familiar to Skyler. So maybe she should except this girls help. At least then she would have a little more time to sort out her thoughts and feelings about this girl.
”Okay...” Skyler quickly spoke with a slight nod. ”I will accept your help. Hope you're good at spells.” And hey, if this girl turned out to be evil, at least she knew how to handle herself. Right? She had her gun inside of her jacket and her knife sticking inside of her boot, the handle sticking out every so slightly. And she often carried a small bottle of holy water right inside her jacket pocket. After all, you could never be too careful, right? After all, being a hunter, you tend to see a lot. Know a lot. You know what is really out there in this world. While most people just remain oblivious.

She could tell by the look on this girl face that she was starting to catch on, she was starting to remember who Ruby was. Which was what she wanted, she want this girl to figure out who she was. All though all this messing with her was kind of amusing, she was enjoying playing around with this girl. But it will be fun to see the look on her face when she does find out who she is, she will probably run out of her scramming. Even though it wont help her, Ruby cant catch her no matter how fast she tires and runs.
The girl was still being smart with Ruby not wanting any help from her, and her attitude was really starting to tick her off. “Well my dear you don’t have to take any help from me that’s fine, I was just trying to be nice and help.” Ruby said putting her hand on her hips. She knew this girl was going to accept though, she didn’t know anyone in this town so what else was she going to do. Ruby knew it was only a matter of time before she changed her mind.
Then there it was the girl changing her mind taking her help, she knew it was only a matter of time. “Good then lets get to it, and trust me I have been doing magic for a long long time. So I assure you I know what I’m doing, now the question is what kind of spell do you need and what’s it for?” She all ready knew it had to be something to help her with her past, Ruby didn’t remember anything about this girl being a witch. So it couldn’t be something she did on a normal basis, all though she doesn’t remember much about what this girl did. So it had Ruby wondering a bit, it made her want to get to know her more.

A hunter was what Skyler had been practically her entire life. Passed onto her from her father. He had taught her from a young age. Despite the young girl's mothers protests. Skyler's mother did not want her children to have any part of this life. But this was not about her, it was about Skyler. About what Skyler wanted. And then her father was killed on a hunt and Skyler fought tooth and nail against both her mother and older brother because neither of them wanted her to continue her father's work. Well, all she could say (could think) was screw them. She know longer thought of them as her family and she never would. Was it lonely to know that you were completely on your own? Sure, it could be, but she was a hunter. That was just how hunter's lived. You could never get close to anyone because it could mean their death. Getting close to people would only end in blood and heartache. And Skyler did not want any part of that.
Well, being a hunter was never an easy life, never would be easy. But would Skyler choose to do anything else? Maybe go to college or get married and have a family of her own? No, Skyler could not see herself doing any of that. She could not imagine being or doing anything other than the job she had been around practically her entire life.
Skyler looked up at the other girl, her eyes narrowed ever so slightly. ”Not here.” Was all that the hunter really said. She could not explain what she was doing or needed to do here. Not with all the demons in this world. She had to get some place more secluded. She was not going to risk not finding the black-eyed bitch. ”I'll explain in the car. We'll take my car and I'll drive.” she spoke suddenly, taking charge. Skyler was use to being in charge. Then again, she was always working by herself so letting someone else taking charge was just simply out of the question for the twenty-three year old. ”My car is outside. We can go back to my motel room.” And with that she started to walk outside, motioning for the girl to follow.

She was a bit surprised that the girl was now trusting her enough to actually let Ruby get in a car with her now, five minutes ago she so much didn’t even want to talk with her let alone hang with her. But now she wants Ruby to go with her, she finds it kind of funny. But she wanted this girl to trust her, so this was great. She knew that after while of talking she could spring who she was on the girl, it was going to work out so great. The girl was going to be in so much shock finding out who Ruby truly is, she isn’t going to know what to do or say.
Ruby was all ready to go and leave, she was right here was not the time and place to be talking about all this. “Ok that’s sounds like a plan, we will take your and you can let me know what you plan to do. I just hope we got everything here from the shop that you need.” Ruby asked looking around the shop. All though it didn’t really matter there would be no need for a spell, she was going to get all she needed to know and more once Ruby spiled the beans to her.
Ruby followed the girl out to her car, she wasn’t even going to act like she had one. It was safe and locked so she would come back much later to get it, after she was done scaring the lights out of this girl or maybe even worse killing her. “Yeah that sound like a safe place to talk about all this, plus if the spell gets kind of messy not to worry it’s a motel room.” She said that as more of inside joke, knowing that once she knows who Ruby truly is it wasn’t going to be pretty.

It just was not the right place to be talking about Skyler's plans or whatnot. No, they needed to be in a place away from people who might just try and listen in on the conversation. That was not something that was safe. Not in the least bit. And Skyler was one to try and work with caution. Though it did not always turn out that way, of course. Considering the fact that most of the time, Skyler did tend to be a bit of a risk taker and was rather impulsive as well. No matter. This was one thing that she did not want to rush or take risks with. It needed to go according to plan. It had to. Skyler had spent years looking for this demon. No idea that what she was looking for was right under her very own nose. But, of course, that would be something that she would surely learn about soon enough.
All in time, though. All in time. But for now, she had to get back to her motel room. And this girl, did she trust this girl? No, not in the least bit. But Skyler was desperate. She really did not know all that much about magic and spells. And to be honest, she absolutely hated witches. But this girl knew some things about witchcraft. Definitely could come as a big help for Skyler.
Leading the other girl outside, Skyler walked to her car as she hit the unlock button on her key chain and climbed into the driver's seat, starting the car as she waited for the girl to get in as well. Once in and Skyler's seat belt was on she had looked into the rear-view mirror before pulling out of her parking spot and onto the road. “It's not to far. About a ten minute drive from here. Listen, you never told me your name. My name's Skyler.” she decided to say as she kept her eyes on the road.

Ruby got into the car with the girl ready to get this show on the road, she wondered how this might was going to go. How long it was going to take her to ask Ruby for her name, she was surprised that she was able to go this long. But then she thought would the girl remembered her name if she told her anyway? Did she remember the name of the person that once had taken over her body? Did she remember all the things that she had put that body through, all the bad things that she had done. It would be interesting to see when she told the girl to see her reaction.
But then she finally had asked wanting to know her name, the demon knew It was coming it was just a matter of time before she had asked. She really didn’t want to give her the name just yet, but at the same time she was dying to see if she remembered. Plus if she had a reaction it would be entertaining to see, so really this could go a few ways. “Skyler huh? I like that name not one I have ever heard before but it works.” It had been so long she didn’t even remember the girls name, but now she did it was all coming back to her now. She did remember trying to dig deep wanting to know what or who is girl was. It was so long ago and with the new vassal it had made it hard.
She then turned to the girl giving her a bit of a smile, she was going to do it. She was going to say her name and see what happens. “Oh I’m sorry how silly and rude of me, my name is Ruby its very nice to meet you by the way. You know I think we are going to make for great friends, don’t you?” She asked waiting to see the girls reaction.
