The girls name was Ruby. But why did that name sound so familiar to Skyler? It was like deja vu. Sort of. Like she heard this name before. But almost like she was not actually there. But she heard it. She did know that much. That she was almost positive that she had before. “Ruby? Nice name.” She started off. Trying to gather all of her thoughts. She drove down the road, staying quiet for a few minutes. And then she had finally pulled into the parking lot of some motel and parked the car, turning off the ignition. And, finally, Skyler than turned to the girl sitting in her passenger seat.

Skyler looked the girl up and down. She definitely did not look familiar. But the girls name, the way she talked, it was all so familiar. Like she had heard this girl before. Was it possible? She shook her head of that thought. No. How could that even be possible? This girl did not seem like she would be a demon. But really, anything was possible. Now wasn't it? And, afterall, demons looked just like people nowadays. They seemed so normal at times. Sometimes you run into them and not realize that you have. “I'm sorry. I just – I have to ask. But... do I know you? It's just – something about you. Something just seems so familiar.” She waited. Waited for the answer. Waited to see what this girl would say. There had to be some reason why this girls name and the way that she spoke sounded and seemed so familiar. Right?

This came as a big shock to the Demon that she didn’t remember who she was, Ruby would have though that she would have remember right away. She was kind of disappointed in a away that she didn’t know right away. All though she was acting like there was something was up like she was trying to remember, she knew that soon enough she would. After all Ruby was with inside her for over a year, how could she not after all the time they had together. All those times that Ruby used that body to kill, lie and do her bidding. Yeah she had some good times with in that vessel.

“Thanks I have grown fond of the name, I like that not every fucking human being on the planet has it. I’m yet to meet someone named Ruby, well not yet anyway I’m sure I will now that I jinxed it will meet someone. But again thanks, so you have never met anyone by the name then?” She asked still trying to spark something in that head of hers, plus with they way she was speaking to her she had to think something was odd.

She could tell by the way she was looking her up and down there was something she recognized, almost like she was trying so hard to remember who she was. Ruby couldn’t lie she was getting a bit of a kick out of it, looking so lost trying to remember. But at the same time it was eating at Ruby wanting to tell her. She then asked if they had met before, it seemed like something was starting to spark in that little brain of hers. “Why you do ask? And why would you think that we have met before? Because there is something familiar about you to.” The demon said with a smile hoping she would catch on in some way.

Suddenly something clicked. The way that this girl acted, talked. Something was definitely familiar here. That was definitely for sure. Something suddenly told her that she really did need to be extremely cautious around this girl. Was this...? No. It could not be... She shook her thoughts away and took the keys out and quickly got out of the car, grabbing her back before shutting the driver's door behind her. Skyler walked around the car and over to the passenger side, opening the door. "Get out, Ruby." she spoke, a bit of an icy tone to her voice. Her eyes narrowed in on the girl. It suddenly all came back to her. She knew exactly who this girl was. How could she have not caught on sooner. The thing she had been looking for had been right in front of her all along.

"Ruby..." She repeated that name. "God, how could I have not seen it before. It's you. You are exactly what I have been looking for for years now." She shook her head, her left fist clenched and she reached into her jacket with her left hand for the knife just in case but did not pull it out yet. "You son of a bitch... You'll pay. For everything." She glared at the demon in front of her, ready for a fight if she started anything. She kept her eyes on Ruby, waiting. Waiting for some sort of response. She was curious what the demon's response would be. This demon was so dead.

Ruby could tell by the way she was acting, something was starting to work in that little brain of hers. Then the girl begin to get out of her car, she could tell by the way she got out something was up. The demon knew the gig had to be up, she knew who Ruby was now and it was on. She just sat there like no big deal waiting for her to do what she needed to do, but when she threw up the door all pissed off she couldn’t help but smile. The demon sat there with a big grin on her face.

“Well Well I guess you know who I am huh.” She said while getting out of the car. “My question is what the hell took you so long to figure it out, I though you were smarter then that. I mean that’s why picked that body of yours, because of how smart and sexy you were.” She said smile at her getting right up in her face. “Come on you have to admit, you and me with that body had some good times. I killed so many people with that meat suit, but I’m sure you remember all that right?”

She thought it was funny that she had been looking for her, wanting the body that had taken years from her life. “So you have been looking for me huh, well you have me so now what are you going to do? I don’t think you are going to kill me, I’m way to smart to let you go and do something like that. I mean come on even you know I’m smarter then that.” The girl then begin to take out her knife at Ruby, like it was going to do anything. The demon couldn’t help but laugh at bit at her. “I’m not going to pay for anything, and you aren’t going to do anything with that knife. I mean come on You have to get close to do any damage, which for you isn’t going to happen.”

“Oh, I'm not going to use this knife on you. Not unless you get to close to me. Besides, I know this won't do as much damage as you deserve.” Skyler spoke with a smirk on her face. The young hunter would not show any kind of fear. Not that she was even afraid. To be honest, Skyler had faced much worse than some skanky little demon. But she did remember a lot of it when Ruby had taken complete control over her own body. No one had any idea what it was like to sit on those sidelines and watch a murder happen at your very own hands and not be able to control your own body. Just sitting there. Tramped. Screaming for someone, anyone, but no one ever hearing you. Not unless you were possessed by a demon as well. If you weren't ever, then they could never possibly imagine what it is like to have to go through all of that.

But this demon had know idea who she had been dealing with. No idea what so ever. “You know, Ruby, do you have any idea who I even am? Do you? I am not one to mess with. I'm smart when it comes to this job. I have killed a lot of things in my time. Seen my dad do it a lot. Did you have any idea when you possessed me that I was a hunter and did it ever occur to you that I would come looking for you?” Skyler just shook her head, the smirk never leaving her face. Still clutching onto her knife, Skyler placed the other hand that was free on her hip, just glaring her eyes at Ruby, waiting for her response.

She could tell that the girl was in shock which she should be, after all Ruby was the demon that took over her body. She still remembers it like it was just yesterday, in that vassal feeling her pain, making her do things that she didn’t want to do. Which made being in her all that more sweeter. “ I don’t disserve any damage, you aren’t going to do anything to me. And you want to know why?” The demon asked smiling getting close to the girl, almost in invading her space. “You know if I were you I would watch what you say to me, you know I can take that little body of yours back. You know I was never done with it in the first place, so again watch it if you know what’s good for you.”

She was telling the demon something that she didn’t know, something that must have been hidden that she missed. Skyler was in fact a hunter, Now that didn’t scare the Ruby or anything so she didn’t know why she was even bothering to threaten. But what Ruby was pissed off about was that she didn’t know, that it was locked with in her. She didn’t know how she had missed it.

She looked at the girl as she stood there acting tough, like she wasn’t sacred or anything. Which the demon didn’t get because the girl should be sacred. “You know it don’t matter if I would have thought you were coming for me, it would change shit! Why because it didn’t matter how smart you are, its not going to be easy to kill me. So sorry to burst your bubble but it will be fun to see you try, I’m always up for a little challenge.” She said smiling at the girl.

No. That would not happen. That much, Skyler was very sure on. No demon would ever take control of her body again. Not with the tattoo that she had gotten a while after she was no longer possessed. When she learned how to keep demons from getting back up inside of her. And when Ruby had mentioned about taking control of her body again, Skyler just smirked. “Yeah. You could. But I highly doubt that you would be able to. Never again. I've learned a few things since then.” Placing her knife back inside of her jacket, Skyler pulled up the left sleeve of her jacket to reveal a tattoo. The same symbol that prevented demon possession. “It ain't gonna happen you black eyed bitch.” Skyler was not going to kill her yet however.

Skyler opened the car door and pulled out her bag. Not only did it have that book that she apparently would not need now (but who knows, maybe it could come in handy later on down the road) but it also had her laptop inside. “Look, I ain't gonna try anything. Yet. To be honest, I am so not in the mood to fight. But you should know, you pissed off the wrong hunter. You should have never underestimated me. That tends to be everybody's mistake. Underestimating me.” She chuckled, shaking her head slightly. “But I would watch my back if I were you. I'll sneak up on ya when you least expect it.” She looked the demon up and down.

Ruby loved how she was acting all like she wasn’t scaring her, it was kind of cute. But the truth was this girl was sacred out of her mind, sacred that Ruby was once again going to make her body her own again. Which she should be really, because right now that’s all she could think about. And what she know about learning tricks, if she learned anything it had to be when ever Ruby was in her body. Ruby was buying or listing really to anything she was saying nor did she give a shit. “So you have learned a few things have you, well good luck using them against me.” She said with an evil like smirk on her face.

She looked at the girl annoyed from what she had said. “Cant anyone call me anything better then that. Really!” She though it was funny that she called her black-eyed bitch, it was the same thing Dean called her. It made the Dean wonder if maybe that had met? She hoped not that was the last thing she needed really, them teaming up on her ass. They didn’t need anymore help there, but with this girl being a hunter she knew they might have crossed paths at one point. Man Ruby would have loved to see the look on Dean’s face for that, she knew it would freak him the hell out.

This girl could try and try but she wasn’t going to scare Ruby that easy, Ruby notice her bag wondering what Demon goodies she had in there? “Can I ask what make you think I want to fight with you, and hunny what makes you think you underestimate me. I mean come on there is a reason I picked you for my vassal after all, because you aren’t dumb and you know what you want.” She then walked a bit closer to the girl. “ But you can try and sneak up on me all you want, try and kill me all you desire. But it isn’t going to happened that easy, come on even you know me better then that.” She said smiling at the girl.

Actually, Skyler did know the demon better than that. She was awake for a lot of the things that Ruby had done while taking complete control over her own body. She definitely knew not to underestimate the demon. Skyler just shook her head. “Yeah. Sure. Even at 16, I knew exactly what I wanted. And nothing really has changed. Except the fact that I am, in deed, a much better hunter than when we last crossed paths.” Back then, Skyler had just been a child, a teenager. She was young, naive. She knew exactly what she had wanted and was always acting so tough on the outside even when she was completely broken on the inside.

“You know, Ruby... I am always up for a good challenge. You can't and you won't scare me that easily ever again.” She crossed her arms over her chest, a smirk plastered upon her face. “But don't worry. I am not about to start a fight. Not now at least. It is just not the right time or place for it now.” Now that Skyler knew exactly where this demon was, she needed to come up with a plan. She had to kill this demon. She had stole everything. And Ruby was about to pay. Extremely. Skyler would make sure of that. “Now, listen, you have found me. And obviously you are not stupid enough to start a fight right here. So tell me, why are you sticking around? Why don't you just run along?”

She liked this girl attitude it reminded her a lot of herself, which is one of the reasons she took her vessel in the first place. Ruby was smart when she picked her vassals, she didn’t just take anyone. They had to have a attitude, know what they want, great looks with a great body, and most of all a good brain. Which this girl did have she wasn’t dumb at all, which is one of the reasons Skyler knew she was going to figure out who she was. But the girl also had darkness to her, Ruby remembers feeling it deep with in her. A past life that was eating at her, something she couldn’t stop thinking about. “Well don’t worry my dear I’m not going to scare you, that was never my intention before. But its nice to know I have that effect on you.” She told her. “When I used you before was because I liked your body, who you were, how smart of a girl you were. A bitch that knew what she wanted.”

She told Ruby that she didn’t want to fight, which was never the demons intentions anyway. Fighting with her was never part of her motive. “Fight why would I want to fight you, well I would if you tired anything funny with me. But I really don’t think you are that dumb.” She said with an evil smirk on her face. The girl was lost to why she was still hanging around with her, but it was back to what she said before she liked this girl. Hell she missed this vassal “Why would I run along I have nothing else to do, I would rather stay here and chat with you. So where have you been all this time since you got back your body anyway? And why you in this town all the sudden. It really just to find little old me.” She said smiling at her.

Well, there was one thing that Skyler could definitely take comfort in. There was no way that this demon could possibly take over her body again. Not as long as she had that anti-possession tattoo. So at least that much could ease the young hunter's mind. So was she scared? Hell no. But to be completely honest, it took quite a lot to scare this girl. She definitely did not scare all that easily. Which was actually probably a good thing. After all, if she even showed the slightest been of fear, it could possibly very well mean the difference between life and death. And death was not something that she planned on meeting any time soon.

Skyler crossed her arms over her chest. “Well, well, so you do not want to leave then?” she shrugged, slightly. “Suit yourself.” She eyed the girl very closely. “So, tell me, what poor girl are you possessing this time? A student? Sister? What? I bet this girls family probably misses her.” Not that her own mother ever missed her. Skyler was the one to run away. She was the one who wanted nothing to do with her mother and her brother. “Maybe I should just send your sorry ass back to hell. That would probably be best for everyone in the long run after all.” Well, it would, now wouldn't it? For every single person on this earth. She just wished that she could rid this world of all demons. But that probably would not be happening as long as she was alive.

She seemed a bit disappointed to hear that Ruby wasn’t leaving, but why would she leave its not like she had anything else to do. Beside she couldn’t help but like this girl, for some reason there was just something about her that interested her. Plus maybe some how become close to this girl could work to her benefit, like having her help on taking out Sam and Dean? She knew there had be a way, like maybe making her believe that were behind Ruby take her body some how. Ether way she was making his hunter help her weather he liked it or not.

She seemed interested to know who’s body she had a hold of, trying be worried and act like the hero. “Why my dear worried are you worried about her, well don’t worry I made sure that Apartment was empty before I took this body. I kind of recycle a coma patient, nice huh. Well they guy I was with was just like you, didn’t want me to hurt anyone else.” At that time she cared and would have done anything for Sam, which is one of the reasons she took this body. But now that he wont even look at her, it kind defeats why she did it.

She was getting snappy with Ruby again which the Demon didn’t care to much for, she could try all wanted to get rid of her but it wasn’t going to happened. “You could try to but you wont get very far, plus why would you even want to do that anyway? What the hell have I done to you? I mean you are still standing here breathing am I right y dear?” She asked.

Skyler just could not help but roll her eyes. Was this girl just plan crazy? Did she have some sort of death wish? Well, that much was just completely obvious. Or at least in Skyler's eyes, that would seem what it would appear to be. One thing that this young huntress hated the most in this world. Demons. They were pathetic and a waste of skin. Though maybe she hated them the most because of what had happened to her all of those many years ago. Yeah, that was definitely a possibility.

Though, she did have to admit, hearing that she had not been using someone else to her own advantage was definitely a good thing. Though, you never knew, demons did often lie. Though the sometimes did tell the truth to. It was just hard to tell the difference between truth and lies. "Empty huh? All I can say is you better be telling the truth, because if I do find out that you are lying, then it will be the biggest mistake of your life. That much, I can promise you."

Skyler looked around. The parking lot that the two were standing in at that moment seemed empty. Pretty much. Minus that small family over on the other side of this small parking lot. A mother, a father, and two small children. One around age 4 or 5. The other one, the older one, around age 9 or 10. Skyler often noticed families. Probably because she wished that she had one herself, but lacked a family to call her own. Maybe someday. But being a hunter? She knew that a family of her own would be next to impossible.Skyler turned to look back at Ruby, waiting to see what this demon would say next.

This girl wasn’t going to do anything to Ruby, she didn’t need to promises her any god damn thing. All she needed to know was what Ruby wanted her to know at that time. “No mistake my dear not to worry about a thing, plus why would I lie to someone that pretty much is dear to me. After all I was with in you for over a year, a girl can get attached you know. Me and that body did have some good times, I was pretty kick ass with you.” She said with a smile.

Ruby then notice a family across from them, with annoying children the last thing she really felt like Dealing with. There were just something about kids that drove the demons nuts, it seemed they never shut up and did nothing but bitch all the time. She really didn’t get how anyone could think they were cute. In her eyes they were more annoying then demons, And they could even be worse then Satan himself Ruby wondered if maybe now would be the best time for her to get the hell out of there.

“You know I think its time I go I do have some things I have to tend to, but not to worry you will see me again. Trust me now that I know you are in town I will be paying you a visit all the time.” She said giving her an evil like smile. “ It been fun take care, my dear.” Ruby said disappearing before a blink of an eye, leaving the girl there to stand alone.
