----------------------- ----------------------- Jo was sitting in the passenger side of Dean's car, with the window down and her seat belt on. Everything was so nostalgic. She had missed everything and everyone so much. She hadn't realized how much she had missed. Of course, she had been dead for quite awhile. That was a weird thing to believe in of itself. She missed her mother as well but she guessed she would miss her for awhile. Jo did not plan on dying again anytime soon. She didn't know how she would start her life over again or what she was supposed to do. She didn't even really know the reason they had brought her back. There were so many unanswered questions. There was so much she had missed and so much left undone. Now she had a second chance, she could do everything she'd ever wanted to do. At least she'd been kissed before her life had ended though. Her mind always went back to that last kiss. It was so sweet and tender, even if Dean hadn't meant it. She had decided she didn't care if he had meant it. He'd probably moved on and forgotten about her, she'd just have to do the same. She looked out the window and tried to remember her mother. She had held her until everything went dark and then they had both died. It made her want to cry but she wanted to stay strong. She had to. She stayed still, not uttering another word. She just waited for the car ride to be over. She would feel better when she had a few beers in her. Alcohol always calmed her nerves and made her forget about things she should worry about. She adjusted the seat belt a bit, because it felt tight around her. She'd never bothered wearing one before but now she wanted to feel safe, and she was glad to be here with him. - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Dean still couldn’t believe that Jo was sitting right across from him, he was starting to think this was a dream. Or maybe that he had died again, like the time that Sam and him were back in heaven. They had met up with Ash and Pamela and drank a around of beers, it was pretty fun and wild all at the same time. He never would have though Heaven was going to be like that, it was like everyone there had there own Little heaven. Dean all ready knows what his heaven would look like, it will be him with Lisa having a prefect life. No hunting, no bad world, and No one to bother them in that moment, just them together. Being the dad for Ben he wants to be.
Dean looked over at Jo has she wasn’t saying much, he could tell that something was wrong. But he didn’t blame her when Dean first came back he really didn’t want to say much, he felt lost and in pain. But his was different and much worse Dean had came back from Hell to where Jo hasn’t, She was safe and in Heaven. But maybe her having to leave that perfect plane of existence that had upset her. Dean didn’t know but when has a drink with Jo he is going to find out, he was going to help her threw this.
They then had pulled into the bar parking lot, he found and place and parked the car. He made sure it was nice and close so Jo didn’t have to walk much, he knew just being back she was probably out of it. He walked over opening up her door. “You ready? lets go get our drink on.” He took Jo’s hand and they made there way into the bar.

----------------------- ----------------------- She didn't want to utter one word. Some of her thoughts were so dark that it scared her. She couldn't let Dean think that she was unhappy. She wasn't exactly heartbroken either. The only thing she missed about Heaven was her mother. She hadn't even got to see her father, which she thought was incredibly unfair. It made her sad that she'd probably never see them again. Tonight wasn't about sadness though. She wanted to be happy. She was with Dean and she'd see Sam soon, it'd be a wonderful family reunion. She wanted to get her mind off of Heaven and concentrate on her new life she'd been given. She felt trapped but she didn't mind as much. She had missed it so much. The seat belt still felt tight around her. She guessed it was because this was new to her though it wasn't really. It felt that way though. She didn't know if she could fit into this world anymore. It all felt so new to her. It was a strange feeling but it was also a good feeling. She felt alive and it felt really good. She knew that Dean could help her through this. After all, he'd been through it as well. They had that in common now. She felt like an ant under a microscope, so tiny and meaningless. She didn't know what her life was worth to anyone else, but to her it was priceless. She didn't like feeling the way she felt. She knew she just had to get back into the swing of things and everything would be alright. It helped a lot to know she had friends on her side, made it all worthwhile. She felt Dean looking at her and she looked back at him. Good thing he was here, or she probably would be going insane right now. She still didn't know how to handle all of this, or even if she could. She knew she had to try. She just had to keep moving, keep breathing, and not worry so much. She was never one to worry and now she had so many of them her head felt like it was bulging, as if she'd break down at any minute. Somehow, it was alright when she looked at him. She knew she would always love him, he was her first after all. They pulled into the parking lot of the bar and she smiled at Dean. She felt better instantly. She watched as Dean got out of the car, opening her door for her. "Yes, let's," she said smiling, getting out of the car and taking Dean's hand. She walked into the bar with him. - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -They walked into the bar with the jukebox playing real loud as well with people playing pool, he knew that before the night was threw Jo and Him would be playing some pool. Even though he will piss her off and kick her ass, but o well it was all in good fun. This is what Dean is talking about a real bar, the kind were people drink and chill to music, and maybe even play some pool or some darts.
Dean walked up to the bar calling down the bartender, when the girl walked up she was a hot brunette with beautiful blue eyes. He could help but hit on her. “Hello darling could you please bring me and my lady friend here a beer, it could make my night a whole lot better if you could. “ He said winking at her. While she walked away to go get there drinks Dean sat down at the bar getting comfortable. “Come on Jo take a seat with me, take a load off. I know you have to be kind of tired. You did just come back from the dead and all, that can make you tired believe it or not.” The bartender had brought Dean and Jo there beers, he gave Jo’s beer to her as she sat there. “Here you go this will make everything better.” He said with a smile.
Then as they were sitting there a though come to Dean’s head, he wondered if Jo had any questions about everything. If anyone would know better it would be Dean, with him coming back from the dead and all. Except with the exception of him going to hell and all, and her coming from heaven. “So Jo because I have sort of gone threw what you are going threw, do you maybe have any questions that I can try and answer for you?”

----------------------- ----------------------- Jo held onto Dean's hand as he led her into the bar. She felt insecure but she didn't want him to know that. It felt weird to hold his hand and she didn't want to feel as she did. It felt so odd to be back on earth after being in Heaven. She didn't really know what to do or say, or even how to act. She felt so awkward, like everyone was staring at her and judging her. In reality, no one was paying much attention to her except Dean. She loosened her grip on his hand. Eventually she would get used to this world again. She hoped so at least. She heard the jukebox playing and saw people playing pool. They looked as if they were having so much fun and she wondered if they were pretending as well. Maybe it was just her though. She knew she would have fun here with Dean. It'd been so long since she'd gotten drunk and she wondered if she could still hold her liquor as well. She knew she would find out. A beer sounded really quite wonderful right now. She watched as he flagged down the bartender. Same old Dean. Some things never changed. She smiled, sitting next to him at the bar. "You haven't changed," she commented, trying to brighten her mood, "Same old Dean." She watched as the bartender brought them their beers. She smiled at her as she walked away. She felt a little bit better now. She didn't feel quite so awkward. She avoided looking at the other people around her because she felt so insecure and she wasn't quite used to having other people around her. Heaven was more of a solitary place. It made her feel bad that she had been alone there, except for having her mother with her at all times. It wasn't at all what she expected either. Not as much a mess as earth is but too good to be true. She hadn't liked it very much except that her mother had been around and she missed her so much now. There wasn't a moment that went by that she didn't think of her. It made her sad that she was all alone now. They wouldn't even let her see her father. She missed them both dearly. Jo took the beer without even realizing that Dean was handing it to her and she almost let it go. She caught herself and held it tight, taking the cap off to take a sip. It tasted just the way she remembered it, only ten times better. She had so much in her head that she felt as if her brain would explode at any minute. She hated thinking so much. She honestly hated to worry but she couldn't say she was entirely fine. She pretended though because she didn't want him to worry. That was the last thing she needed right now. She took a couple more sips of her beer and looked at him. She smiled again. "Does it always hurt this much?" she asked truthfully, "Nevermind, don't answer that." She didn't know whether or not she wanted an answer. She was afraid of the answer. Tag:Dean Word count:536 Notes: It's fine -----------------------

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Jo was right about one thing he hadn’t changed one bit still same old Dean. Still was hunting, still listing to the same old music, still driving the same old car, and was still has kick ass as ever. That was one of the things that he remember that he love about Jo, she loved the same old Dean. She liked the same things he did as well, so when they talked it never was a boring moment. “Yeah Sadly I haven’t changed one bit, but that’s a good thing right.” He asked the young hunter. “But I still you are still the same old Jo as well, still sweet, still fighter and one kick ass hunter. But you knew that all ready right.
Dean could tell that something was up with Jo, she seemed happy but almost like something was missing at the same time. He knew that it had to be leaving heaven, Dean remembers that when Sam and him were there they didn’t want to leave. He got to be with there mom and have her make him lunch again, making his favorite pie. A part of him wishes so much he could live that again in that moment, but at the same time Dean doesn’t want to be Dead so it was a lose lose for him. He could never leave her and not be with Sam and the people he loves. Like Lisa he knows that it would kill her if she heard that something happened to him, and he cant do that to her and Ben ever. It would kill Dean to much knowing they were going to be in pain.
Jo had asked something of Dean that he could tell was hard for her to ask, she wanted to know if it was hurt like this being back. But at the same time she was sacred to know. Truthfully Dean didn’t know what to say because it might bother her, but it also had its ups being here. He had to tell her the truth and she needed to know. “Jo being back here at first was hard, man was it was hard for me. But I will tell you this, it does get better I promises you that. You will over time be happy to be back her with us, and Jo we are happy that you are back with us. And you know something I think your mom would be to know that you are with us.” Dean said to her with a smile.

----------------------- ----------------------- Jo looked down at the beer, not wanting to look Dean in the eye. She knew he would see right through her and she didn't want him to worry any more than he already was. Of course she hadn't changed, that would be lame. She loved herself for who she was, even if she was a little neurotic at times. There was no sense in changing when there was nothing wrong. Don't fix what isn't broken, as it was. She knew she had missed Dean, maybe not as much as he had missed her though. She knew he blamed himself for her death and that made her sad. It wasn't his fault, she had been the stupid one and tried to save his ass. She had succeeded but lost her own life, as well as her mother's, in the process. She knew Dean had had a hard time and she wished she could help him somehow. She finally looked up, looking straight at him, and she chuckled at what he'd said. "Right," she said with a smile, "I've missed this."Jo could tell he knew something was wrong and she hoped he didn't say anything. She didn't want to dwell on it. She knew it was wrong to feel guilty for being alive when her mother would feel the same way. Ellen would rather Jo was alive and safe, even if it meant her dying. Jo felt the same way. She was so much like her mother, yet so different at the same time. She wished she was as tough as her mother but she was glad she wasn't such a hardass sometimes too. She could just have fun, didn't always have to be working. She liked it that way. She didn't like to be too serious. What he said hit her hard, like a ton of bricks. She wanted to cry but held it in. She hated crying in front of people, especially him. Damn emotions. It was like a rollercoaster. She felt so bipolar today. She missed her mother, not heaven, and she was happy to be back on earth. Still she felt trapped, unable to breathe at times, and she just wanted to cry. She did not like these feelings at all and wished they would go away. She almost wished she didn't have a soul. She took a big drink of her beer, sitting it down on the bar again. "It's not that I'm not happy to be back, you know I am," she said with a smile, "I just feel so guilty, you know?" If she had some answers maybe she wouldn't feel like this. At least she was alive though. Tag:Dean Word count:446lockquote] -----------------------

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Dean could tell that for some reason Jo didn’t want to look him in the eye, because the truth was even though she was the same old Jo on the inside he knew she didn’t feel that. After you die it does something to a person, it doesn’t make you feel the same anymore. All he could say was at lest she wasn’t in hell its way worse beyond compare, not only do you feel strange being back but you feel pain as well. The dreams you have almost hurt just from remember all that happened to you, or in Dean case what you did to others.
It still hurts and bothers him for what he had to do to all those people in hell, having to inflict pain and torture on them. Its something he never wants to do again. If he was sent back now he wouldn’t give in again, he take doing that again to others. He would rather be in pain there for years having all the pain done to him. And in hell it does feel like years everyday that goes by.
Dean could tell that it seemed almost like Jo had needed to cry, so he begin to put his beer down and move in closer to Jo. He looked her in the eyes with a very serious look his face. “Look Jo If you need to cry you go ahead I’m here for you, with all that you have been threw you disserve a good cry.” he then put his arms around her hugging her tightly, hoping that she was feeling better and safe in his arms.
When he let up from her he wanted to know why she felt that way, why she was feeling guilty from all this. “ I know you are happy to be back after all this time, I mean you are hanging with me again come on.“ Dean said with a smile on his face. “ But Why do you feel guilty? Can I ask for what reason?”

----------------------- ----------------------- Jo knew that she couldn't lie to him. He would see right through her. She avoided looking at him directly. She knew eventually he would drag it out of her. She could be herself when he was around, which she loved. She seemed well aware of all the people around her. She felt odd being around people. She knew she was just not used to it yet. She didn't think it would be this hard to get used to being alive again. She could barely enjoy her beer but she was trying her best. She wanted to relax and enjoy her time with Dean. She didn't know why she was having so much trouble. She really hoped the night got better. She got a bit nervous when he moved closer to her. She didn't know why. She was having trouble being close to anyone, even him. She picked her beer up and took another drink, listening to him. She put her beer down on the counter. She let him hug her and closed her eyes, fighting the tears. It hurt too damn much. She knew crying wasn't a sign of weakness but she knew she had to be strong, even if she felt like falling apart. She felt the tears stinging her eyes as he hugged her tight. Somehow he always knew and was always there for her. She did feel safe in his arms and she didn't want him to let her go. She smiled back at him when he let her go. She did feel a little bit better now. Still, it just felt too weird being alive again. "Nevermind," she said, "It's nothing." She didn't want to tell him because she didn't know how he would react and she didn't want him to think badly of her. Truth was, she'd give her life in a second if she could see her mom one last time. Tag:Dean Word count:318 -----------------------

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Dean could tell that she wasn’t going to open up to him just yet, it was way to soon he could tell. But he wasn’t mad he was the same way when he first came back as well, he has been there and done that. He knew that over time she would talk to him when she was ready, trying to get it out of her like this was only going to make it harder and worse on Jo. So he would be here when she was ready. He knew for now it would just be best to have some fun.
Dean took the last drink of his beer along with a shot that the bartender had brought him, he turned to her with a big smile on his face. “You know what? You disserve some fun tonight, none of this sad stuff what you say Jo?” Then an idea came to him. “You know what I will be right back so don’t you go anywhere ok.” He then got up from seat walking over to the jukebox, it was just like the one they had at the road house so he knew it was bound to have some good tunes on it. He looked and looked for a good song in till, he had come to one he knew she was going to love. He put a quarter into the jukebox till the song begin to play. It was REO’s I cant fight this feeling anymore, he remembered how much Jo had loved this song.
He made his way back over to her with a big smile on his face. “Now last I checked you loved this song, am I right? Because if that is so then we should dance what you say?” He then put his hand out to Jo. “Want to dance with me? Come on it will be fun and fun is what you need right now.” He stood there waiting for her to take his hand.

----------------------- ----------------------- Jo had a mix of feelings from guilt to worry, even anger. She was so mixed up that she couldn't tell which way was up. She just wanted to feel better about everything. She knew Dean would do whatever he could to help her. She knew he loved her like a little sister, which was annoying at times, and he would always be there for her. Her loyalty was unfaltering as well. There was nothing she wouldn't do for him or Sam. Hell, she had died to save their asses. She definately was having more fun being alive. she hadn't drank in a while so it probably wouldn't take long before she felt a buzz. She was always able to hold her liquor though so she wasn't sure how long it would take. Most of the patrons of the bar had gone home, as it was getting very late. She felt better that there wasn't as many people in there now. She found it easier to breathe and not as stuffy. Jo knew Dean understood what she was going through as he had been there himself. She knew she could trust him but she wasn't sure she wanted to. There was so much going on inside her that she didn't know if she could handle it. She wasn't sure who she was anymore. "Yes," she said with a smile, watching him walk over to the jukebox. She knew he was trying to get her in a better mood and she was glad for that. She wondered where she would be if he had never found her at that lake. She probably would've found him somehow though and they would still be here doing this exact thing right now. All roads led to here. Their paths would always cross, she knew that. They would always find each other. She was so thankful for that. She smiled when she heard the song playing on the jukebox. She loved that song and he was playing it for her. What a sweet thing to do. She was a little nervous when he asked her to dance but took his hand anyway. He had a way of making her do things she wouldn't normally do. "Yes, Mr. Winchester, I'd love to," she said with a smile, holding onto his hand and getting up from her seat. - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -He knew that a bit of fun was really all she needed, he knew that would make her feel a hundred percent better. Plus right about now he could use a bit of fun as well, things have just been so crazy lately he hasn’t been able to just let lose and have a good time. He knew it would be great for both of them, and he has never gotten to see Jo Dance. Wait till she see’s how great of a dance Dean is. Well he wasn’t always this great with slow dancing, thanks to Lisa he had to learn. He had to go to a friends wedding with her, and with there being slow dancing he knew he had to learn. Now if they were dancing to some fast dance music he could really get down, show her some moves she had never seen before. (or at lest Dean thinks he could.)
Dean still had his hand out waiting to see what she would say, hoping she was going to say yes. She then told him yes and that she love too. “Well then little lady shall we.” so he took her hand and begin to lead her out on to the dance floor. He put one of her hands on his shoulder and the other in his hand, he begin to move them slow on the dance floor to the music. He could tell she was having the time of her life right now, he was as well getting to dance with Jo like this Something he though he never do again. He never though he see her again other then his dreams. But this was really happening right now, she really was here with him in this moment.
Then as they were dancing he had to ask her, he had to know what was going threw her head right. He had to see if she felt the same way about all this. “So what is like to be back her hanging and dancing with me, crazy right! I mean Jo I cant believe it, I though I would never see you again. But here you are with me now, I got to tell you this is one of the best days of my life. I hated you being dead, you may not know this but I really beat myself up for you and your moms dead.” It was true to this day he still feels like it is his flat.

----------------------- ----------------------- She was instantly in a better mood. He always had a way of making her feel better. She was thankful for that. Though she still felt very uncomfortable in this world. She knew she would get used to it again but she hated feeling like this. Jo didn't really ever dance so she wasn't very good at it, or she didn't think she was anyway. Dean had never seen her dance and she was surprised to see him dance as well but she knew he was just trying to make her feel better. She was thankful for that. She'd felt so out of place since she had come back to earth. She felt like she didn't belong here because she was supposed to be dead. It was awkward being so close to him but she felt comfortable in his arms. She felt so safe, like she had never felt before. She put her arms around his neck, getting a little closer to him. She liked being here with him. She had thought she'd never see him again and here they were. It was like a dream come true. She could tell he was so happy that she was back and she was glad too. She had never thought she'd be back here again or that she'd see him again. She was truly greatful. She was glad he was as happy as she was, even though she felt awkward being here. It had nothing to do with him or her, it was just strange to be back here after being in heaven. She was sure he had it worse when he'd been to hell. - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Dean loved being in this moment dancing with Jo, he could see how happy she was just by the look in her eyes. He hadn’t seen her this happy in a long time, even before she died. Dean continued dancing with Jo, leading her along on the dance floor, he knew that the people around them had to think they were crazy being the only once out there. But the bar wasn’t very busy as is. But he could care less he had forgotten that they were even in a bar really, from all the fun they were having.
Jo told Dean that it wasn’t his flat but still apart of him still felt different other wise, he knew that if he wouldn’t have had Jo and Ellen not go with them none of that would have happened. They still be safe somewhere together, maybe even running a new bar just like the Roadhouse. “well I was really torn up about it for a long time, it killed me when you died Jo. You and Ellen were my family you know, you have no idea how much I have missed you.” But poor Jo had to be eaten alive by the one thing that Dean was even sacred of, a hellhound something that still hunts him in his dreams to this very day. He is so thankful that Jo is here, safe and Alive with him. He will never let anything hurt her ever again.
They were still dancing together on the dance floor and he begin to wonder what the future could hold for them. Was Jo going to be hunting with Sam and Dean again? He because if so he couldn’t lie he was not happy about that at all. He couldn’t risk anything happening to her again, her mom might kick his ass from the grave. He so can see that happening, with them anything is possible. “So Jo what do you plan on doing now back? You aren’t wanting to hunt again are you?” He asked curiously.

----------------------- ----------------------- It really was amazing being here with him. It was like a dream come true. She had missed him like crazy. She was so glad to be alive again and here with him. She didn't know who she was anymore though and that scared her a little bit. She was afraid that she wasn't going to find any answers or figure out what she was going to do with her life now. She couldn't go back to being who she had been, yet she didn't want to change. She knew the people around them were staring at them, probably because they were the only ones dancing, but she didn't really care. She was having fun, more than she'd had in a long time. Her life had always been about hunting, since she could remember, and now she didn't know what to do. She knew she didn't have to but she wanted to help in the fight, she had to, it was the reason she'd been brought back after all. Jo knew he blamed himself for her death, which didn't make her happy, but she knew it wasn't his fault. She didn't want him to blame himself. She would've done the same thing again if she had the chance. She loved him, even though he'd never love her the same way. She didn't mind being a second choice because she just wanted him to be happy. Jo knew that neither Sam or Dean wanted her to be a hunter but they couldn't stop her if that was what she wanted. She didn't know what she wanted, she just knew she needed to find her place. She felt like she didn't belong here but it helped a lot that he believed in her and wanted her here. She didn't want him worrying about her but there was nothing she could do because she knew about what went bump in the night and she wasn't going to just throw away who she was. Hunting had always been her life, even if her mother didn't want it to be, and there was nothing anyone could do about that. "Hunting isn't a choice, Dean, you know that. It's who we are."
