- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - Once reaching the car she lifted Dawn a bit away from her. “My keys are in my pocket.” She simply said and waited for her friend to reach in her pocket to grab them. “You drive…I’ll sit in back with Dawn.” She stated, not really giving her much of a choice in the matter.
Once the car was started and had pulled away from the beach, she was finally able to take a deep breath. At least she was away from the scene of the crime so to speak, though she could still remember in vivid detail everything…and she had a feeling she always would. She could feel her friend’s eyes on her from the rear view mirror and she met them without a thought. “We’ll talk later. I just need to get her home.” She stated before exiting the car once it came to a stop.
It was a night she would never forget…and not in a good way.
She allowed Willow to walk in front of her and unlock the door before sweeping upstairs and putting Dawn in her bed. She knew that if it were her, she would feel much more comfortable in her own bed, hence Dawn being placed in her own bed, though a small part of her wanted to put Dawn in her bed that way she could watch over her from the chair that was seated next to her window. However it was for Dawn so she set aside her own wants and desires and instead focused on her little sister. “Willow can you grab me the first aid kit from downstairs.” She called, not knowing exactly where her best friend was but knowing that she was somewhere close.
As she waited for her friend to do as she asked she herself went into Dawn’s bathroom and grabbed a bunch of towels as well as a bowl of warm water. She thought for a moment of why the bowl was in the bathroom but remembered a few days prior when Dawn had to empty the bathtub with a bowl because the stopped had stopped working. It hadn’t taken long for it to be fixed but it definitely grated on the young brunette’s nerves.
Once armed with her supplies she went back into her sister’s room and started cleaning up the areas of blood that she could see. She knew she would need to get her clothes off and make sure nowhere on her body needed stitches but she was going to need at least one person’s help for that. So instead she focused on the areas she could see and methodically cleaned the young woman’s wounds…praying her sister would wake up soon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow followed Buffy to the car, she hurried to get in front of her so she could open the car door for her. She knew it wouldn’t be easy while holding Dawn, Willow pulled the door open for Buffy so she could get in. She then took the keys form Buffy’s pocket, she would do what she asked of her and drive. Willow would have anyway, there was no way Buffy could do anything while holding Dawn. Poor Dawn Willow felt so bad for her right now, the girl had to be in so much pain. It really wasn’t fair what happen to her, and Willow feels responsible for her pain. Willow feels like if she wouldn’t have pissed off Kennedy so much this might not have happen, she feels like she is bringing on pain to Dawn again. Which was why Willow was so mad and wanted to kill Kennedy for trying to hurt her family. Willow exhaled and took a deep breath before she got in the car and started it up. She looked at Buffy in the rear view mirror, she could tell Buffy could sense something was wrong with her. Buffy had told Willow they would talk later, “Don’t worry Buffy you just worry about Dawn now, God I hope she is ok.” Willow said in a sacred like voice. Willow took off driving as fast as she could to the house. They had finally made it home, Willow quickly got out of the car to open the door for Buffy. Willow then walked in front of Buffy so she could get the door for her, when they made it into the house Buffy took Dawn up stairs and Willow sat down on the couch. She needed to take everything that had happened in for a moment, it was still hard to believe that Kennedy was dead. A lot had all happened it one night, Willow still didn’t know what to say or do. Willow then heard Buffy call for her to bring Dawn the first aide kit, “I’m coming Buff!” Said Willow running up the stairs. Willow made it too Buffy handing her the aid kit. “is there anything I can do to help Buff? ” Asked Willow Word Count- 375 Tagged- Faith, Dean and Buffy Outfit- Click to see Willow's outfit.Note- I hope this post don't suck ~~~~~~~~~~~
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Dean had taken out his lighter from inside his pocket and had thrown it on the body, it was final now the bitch was gone. Then again, was she really truly gone? She would still haunt Buffy for a while now... probably forever like those that haunted Angel, Willow and Faith. Everyone was dirty here... no one was clean anymore. Faith looked at fire as it burned away the flesh of the corpse they once knew as Kennedy. It was a strange feeling... she'd know this girl and yet she would have thought nothing of it if she'd died another way. She'd have to make sure to talk to Angel... especially for Buffy's sake. He was someone who could definitely help her so she didn't become what Faith had... or something worse even rationalizing and becoming a psycho. "So long," she said, turning to Dean then. "Lets pack it up, I don't know about you but I could definitely use a drink," she said, shaking her head as she stepped away from the flames. Buffy would be fine for now... Angel was at home no doubt and Willow was there with her to look after both her and Dawn. The female looked back to Dean as Willow and Buffy worked on Dawn. She looked at Buffy, tilting her head as she spoke. "She's gonna be okay right Red?" she asked Willow... Buffy was far to involved in what was going on in her opinion to answer. She really didn't want this to mean nothing after all... I mean if Dawn died who was to blame? No doubt Buffy would blame herself... that she could have been there faster, been watching closer. So many possibilities that could have effected the outcome. They meant nothing though, nothing at all. This was family business though... and first chance she got she would probably go to the bar. Of course right now she just needed to make sure she wasn't needed for anything anymore. She was sure Buffy and Willow could handle this and help her. It was time for all of this to be over... and the waves and ripples of this event to run their course. [/blockquote] Notes:: Crappy Post is crappy -----------------------------------------[/center]
- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean agreed with Faith it was time to pack it up and move on, they were done taking care of the bitch there was nothing more to do. Dean started to pack up his things as fast as he could, he wanted to go and see Buffy and make sure Dawn was ok. But Dean wanted to go and take Sam to motel first, with the way he was acting Dean didn’t think there would be any point in taking him to see Dawn. With him having no soul what did he care how she was doing, that was the thing he didn’t. Dean walked over to his Impala and got in with Sam, Dean turned and looked at Sam. “I’m taking you back to the motel then meeting up with Buffy and the gang, I don’t care if you are mad you cant come the answer is no.” Said Dean
Dean drove to the motel and dropped off Sam, he wasn’t happy about it but oh well Dean didn’t really care what he liked anymore. Dean was more worried about seeing how Buffy and Dawn were both doing, he knew poor Buffy had to be freaking out worried right now. Dean had to get there to her and see how she was, he hoped that Dawn was doing better. Dean was driving as fast as he could trying to get there and soon. Dean was going at lest 100 miles an hour hoping a cop didn’t see him, that was the last thing he needed some pig giving him hell.
Dean had made it he was outside of the boarding house, he parked his Impala and got out as fast as he could. He opened the trunk and got out his med kit and things, he knew Buffy was going to be needed it. He felt like he could go fast enough to get to them. Dean walked up to the house gave a quick knock and walked in. “Buffy its Dean I came and brought my med kit to help.” Dean shouted in the house. Dean then made his way up the stairs to find the gang, and there was Buffy trying to help poor Dawn. “Im here Buff what can I do to help?” Dean asked sitting down his bag and opening it up.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She didn’t know what to do. Her mind was racing but her body was on auto pilot. She waited for Willow to come into the room and as she did, her mind raced. She had killed someone…something that she had sworn she would never do. She had seen the way that killing someone changed people. She had seen it in Faith when she murdered the deputy mayor on accident. She had seen it in the guilt that Angel carried around with him for the things that he didn’t even do…his demon did. And of course she saw the way that Willow had reacted to killing someone.
None of those people had gotten over it…though they put up a good front. She knew that it still bothered Faith…though she had been the one who didn’t exactly deal with it very well in the beginning. Angel was still tormented by what his demon had done over a hundred years ago. Willow was the hardest to watch…because her grief of losing her girlfriend had caused her to kill the man that killed Tara. She hated mourning for the life she took, but at the same time she still hated the man for what he had done. It was a vicious cycle…and one that she had a feeling she would know what that felt like.
Her motions were on autopilot as she tried to clean Dawn’s cuts and bruises as best as she could. She heard Willow’s question and she nodded. “Hold her up while I get her out of these clothes.” She told her and when Willow did as she asked she stripped her sister out of the bloody clothing, putting her in a tank top and boxer shorts so she could clean her stomach easier. Once all the wounds were cleaned she motioned for Willow to la her back down. “Let’s let her sleep.” She told her, heading down and meeting Dean on the way. “We’ve got her cleaned up for now, but we may need that in a bit so keep it handy.” She told him, giving him a thankful smile. “We’re headed downstairs…wanna hang out with us?” she asked, hoping he would. She hoped that if he was around it would keep the questions at bay, though she had a feeling it wouldn’t.
She sighed as she sat down on the couch, needing something, anything to take her mind off of everything, but she also needed to know that everything had been taken care of. “Did you take care of Kennedy’s body?” She asked, assuming that between him and Faith that it had been taken care of, but needing the assurance that no one would show up at her house tomorrow sending her to jail.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow had made it up to Buffy, Willow was in shock too see poor Dawn. She did not like good at all, There really wasn’t any part of her that wasn’t cover inch by inch with blood. Willow watched Dawn laid there so helpless. It made Willows heart hurt for Dawn knowing she had to be in a lot of pain, how could Kennedy do this to her. It still shocks Willow knowing that she could do this to her family, what did they ever really do to her. It was Willow fault not theirs. Right now Willow hated herself she never should have made Kennedy mad and broke up with her, because maybe then Dawn would be ok. Willow wanted to help Buffy in anyway that she could, Willow helped Buffy get Dawn into some new clothes. Willow took the bloody clothes and placed them into the waste basket, there was no way Dawn would ever want these again. They were covered so much there was no way of ever getting them clean. Willow helped Buffy clean all of Dawns wounds, Willow was so happy that she was alive and safe. She doesn’t know what she would do with out Dawn, just like Buffy she was a lot like a sister to her too. Willow agreed with Buffy to let her sleep and walked with Buffy back down stairs. “you know Buffy when she is more awake I can do what I did when I needed to grow more skin, I can gather strength from me to her and help her heal faster if you want.” Said Willow. Willow felt so bad for everything Dawn has had to go threw, she wanted to do was help anyway she could. They then met up with Dean who was there to help, it really was great everything he had done for them. So far Willow thinks she can trusts them, but then again it still will take time to fully know that they could. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------While the girls were upstairs helping the littlest Summers Faith was downstairs in the kitchen. Well give it to Buffy to have some form of alcohol stocked here. Searching through the fridge and various cupboards left her with one bottle of liquor, some kind of fruity schnapps crap. It would have to do. The brunette female grabbed the bottle and started pouring into the nearest glass she could find.
One swig tasted like butt, two was no better. She could probably drink the whole bottle and barely get buzzed, that was depressing. The woman frowned, not realizing how hard she was holding onto the glass before it shattered in her hand. That was the downside to Slayer strength sometimes. "Ah," she said in reaction, waving her arm and hand in reaction to the liquid and the glass.
"Dammit," she said in a low voice so less people would hear. From her volume anyone in the living room could hear it or from the basement stairs was also ample eavesdropping space. She pulled a piece of glass out of her hand, not even really wincing in pain. She just grabbed a cloth from near her and wrapped it around the wound. The woman just went f*** it and left the mess there.
It was from there she moved towards the living room. It was affecting her more than it should, that was the problem. She really didn't know why this was though... maybe reopening old wounds? Or maybe it was because a little of her hope died today. That feeling of guilt, like she could have done more. That overwhelming weight on her chest from all that had happened. How even as strong as she was as a Slayer... she couldn't stop anything.
It wasn't long until she was in the living room, there was the three. Buffy, Willow and Dean were all in the living room. She came in just after Buffy had asked Dean if they'd taken care of the body. They had, just like Faith had done so long ago. The difference was tremendous in the situations though. It still brought some remembrance to her though... and not good memories. If it was this hard for her, she couldn't even imagine how Buffy felt. Although maybe she could a little. -----------------------------------------

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - It had seemed like Buffy had the situation under control, which was good it meant that Dawn was doing better then Dean though. The poor girl had to be in pain, she was cover in so many cuts and lost so much blood she was lucky to make it. Buffy had asked Dean if he wanted to hang with them, he knew he had needed to get back to Sam. But said forget him and took her up on the offer. Sam would just have to deal and wait. With Dean’s luck he was probably out doing something he wasn’t support to Dean anyway, so why did it matter if Dean was home or not. “Sure Buff why not I don’t have anything else to do at the moment, maybe we could all have a drink after this day I’m sure you could use one." Said Dean
Dean followed Buffy into the living room and took a seat on the couch, it had felt so good to sit down after a day like this. Dean could tell that Buffy was worried about the body and whether she was going to jail or not. “Buffy you don’t need to worry about it everything is cool. Me, Sam, and Faith took care of it No one will ever know or find out about what happened. Sam and Me have been doing this for a long time, we know how to cover are tracks are dad taught us that well. “ Said Dean.
Dean then had notice Willow, he wondered how she had been holding up with everything. The whole situation had really done a number on Willow as well. It seemed as though like she had been close to the girl at one point, or at lest it seemed that way. “So Willow how are you doing after today holding up ok?” asked Dean. Not long after that Faith had joined them in the living room as well. “Hey faith what’s up? Now we got the whole gang here, I’m telling you Buffy I think this is best time for us all to have a drink and chill what you think?” Dean asked Buffy with a small smile on his face.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Buffy sat down on the couch and stared off into space until she heard her best friend’s voice that actually broke through her own thoughts. She heard her statement about helping Dawn to re-grow skin. She remembered clearly after Willow had come back from England how she had done the same for herself and how Buffy had helped her re-grow it by lending her strength. She nodded, smiling in thanks. “I’ll help with whatever I can…because I need her to heal quickly.” She told her, wishing there was a way that she could lend Dawn her slayer healing in order to allow her to be fully healed as soon as possible.
Plans were quickly going through her head and before she had even consciously decided to make a plan, she already had one completely done in her mind. She knew what she had to do, and it was something that she had a feeling that Dawn (when she woke up) wasn’t going to be too happy about. However she wasn’t safe here…she wasn’t secure and Buffy needed her younger sister to be safe and happy, none of which she was here. She had checked her cell phone on the way down and had a text message from AJ saying that him and Chase were leaving town due to a family emergency and that he would explain when he could…meaning that Chase was gone and Dawn really had no excuse to stay.
The blonde heard a noise and turned to see Faith walk through the door. She waved half heartedly at the brunette slayer and motioned around her. “Have a seat wherever you’d like.” She told her, before rolling her eyes at herself. “And now I sound like an 80 year old British woman with how formal that sounded.” She stated, really not talking about anything only rambling to keep the focus off what had happened that night.
The blonde slayer laughed at Dean’s need for a drink. “Buffy plus beer equals not a good thing, but a screw driver..that I could handle.” She stated before motioning to the kitchen. “However I’m too tired to move so if someone wants to grab the drinks and bring them in here that would be great…” She stated with a laugh before leaning her head against the back of the coach and closing her eyes, praying that sleep would come to her quickly that night but knowing it wouldn’t when she had a house full of people waiting for her to either start talking or to break down…neither of which she really truly wanted to do.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow followed Buffy into the living room with Dean, she took a set right next to Buffy. Willow in haled then exhaled still trying to take in this day, still trying to come to a realization to the fact that Kennedy is dead. Willow still couldn’t believe how this day had gone, it started out to be normal night into a crazy horror move called attack of the ex girlfriend in no time. But with there life and there luck that’s how it goes, to them its just an everyday thing. Willow just hopes that Buffy is doing ok after all this. As Willow was sitting there Dean had asked her how she was holding up, she stopped for a moment not even knowing what to say. “Oh I’m doing alright I guess as good as anyone could be, thanks Dean. So is everything taken take of then? I really don’t want any of us getting trouble for this psychopath, especially not Buffy. Look if anyone should get in trouble it needs to be me, I‘m the reason Kennedy did all of this in the first place.” Said Willow looking down sad. She then tuned to look at Buffy, she then placed her hands in Buffy‘s. “Look Buffy I want you to know I’m so sorry for all Kennedy has done, I cant help but feel like this is my fault for what happened to Dawn. My question is Buffy why didn’t you let me take care of Kennedy, this was my doing not yours. I didn’t want you to have to deal with this burden Buff.” Willow asked with tears running down her face. Shortly after that Faith had walked in joining them, Willow wiped away the tears quickly “Hey Faith how’s it going?” Said Willow. Dean had then said something about all of them having a drink, which right now didn’t sound like such a bad idea right about now. “Yeah Dean that sounds like a good idea why not, what you think Buffy?” Word Count- 335 Tagged- Faith, Dean and Buffy Outfit- Click to see Willow's outfit.Note- I hope this post don't suck ~~~~~~~~~~~
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Faith watched as people greeted her as she walked into the living room. Dean said hello, Willow said hello, even Buffy made sort of the same attempt. They were all trying so hard to be normal and act like nothing had happened even though it had. She wouldn't disrupt that, she wasn't heartless. She was no longer the villain, she hadn't been for quite a while. This was one of the reasons she liked not being the leader, all that burden and extra weight that Buffy had to carry. Now with this death Buffy had even more to carry on her shoulders, something the brunette slayer didn't envy.
"Hey," she said simply, looking back when Dean offered they drink and the other two adults agreed with him. That would be a good idea... if there was a drop of decent alcohol in the house. "Good luck with that, this house is pretty much bone dry with the girls doing the shopping," she said, a small smile on her face. Of course she didn't add that what they had before now was pretty much gone by her means... leaving only the gross stuff that was on the floor with the shattered glass and the bottle on the counter. The woman put her hand on the door frame, the injured one. She didn't care to sit down right now.
They could always leave for booze, but that was highly unlikely with the brat upstairs recovering and just awaiting to be stable enough for Red to do her mojo. They could send one of the girls for booze, she was certain at least one of them was old enough. Of course the last alternative was just hope B and Red had a stash somewhere. She wouldn't put it past Spike to have hidden some somewhere after all but Buffy didn't seem the type. Red could probably just make her own booze out of thin air... with her... witchy witch magic. -----------------------------------------
- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Dean was happy to see everyone trying to recuperate after what had happened, even Buffy was holding up a lot better then Dean though she would. Or she was doing a good job at hiding it, and with her being a lot like Dean he knew that had to be what she was doing. Trying to stay strong for everyone and her sister, it is exactly what Dean would do and has done on many occasions. From that moment Dean knew that Buffy and him were going to make a good team, and with Sam’s soulless ass he needed a new partner in crime.
Faith had seemed a bit disappointed with there being no alcohol in the house, Dean couldn’t lie so was he too. But then Dean remember that he had some beer in the cooler in the car. “Hey guys I will be right back I just remember that I left some beer in my Impala, I will go and get it.” Dean said making his way out the door. Sam and Dean always kept beer in there little green cooler that was once there dads, they sometimes would stop to chill and have a beer together. But with how Sam been lately that don’t happen anymore, and sadly Dean don’t think it will ever happened again.
Dean opened the trunk to the Impala and grabbed the green cooler, he could tell by how heavy it was that is was full of beer. Dean then closed the trunk and headed back into the house, Dean quickly came threw the door showing everyone what he had found. “Look everyone I found some us some beer!” Dean opened up the cooler handing everyone a beer, but as he was looking threw the cooler had found something that a girl had told him to try. “Hey Buffy I got something for you, a girl gave this to me to try but I think you will like it a lot more then I will.” Dean then handed Buffy a bottle of Bubble gum vodka. “Go ahead Buffy pour yourself a glass, you disserve it after a hard days work.” Said Dean as he smiled at Buffy.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She heard Willow’s comment about if anyone should get in trouble it should be here. “No, technically, you shouldn’t.” She told her smiling a bit. She knew that Willow was simply trying to make her feel better but in reality it wasn’t Willow’s fault that Kennedy had been brought to them. “If you want to get completely technical about it, we should blame Giles since he was the one who brought her with Annabelle and Molly that first day as potentials. However then we could technically blame the Watcher’s Council and the Seer coven for finding her or the First Evil for being the reason she was there at all. So technically Wills none of us are responsible for bringing Kennedy around.” She told her, hoping to ease the red-heads guilt.
She heard Willow’s question about why she didn’t let her take care of Kennedy and she turned to her best friend with a sympathetic look. “Three reasons. One, I saw what happened the last time Wills…it nearly destroyed you which nearly destroyed all of us. I can’t lose you again and neither can Xander, Giles, or Dawn.” She told her, grasping her hand and giving it a small squeeze. “The second reason is more selfish. Yes, Kennedy was your ex…but she hurt my sister. She threatened my family. And I felt and I still do feel like it was my responsibility to deal with. The third reason is a bit more complex but nonetheless meaningful. She was a slayer. If anyone was going to deal with her it was going to be Faith or myself…and with the other two answers already against her, I chose me.” She told her before explaining more fully.
“I’m the reason that these girls are in the world that they are. The First Evil wanted to end the slayer line, and that includes me and Faith. We didn’t want that to happen for obvious reasons so I’m the one who trained them…and I should have up on Kenney’s issues before I allowed her anywhere near a fight. But I didn’t…and that’s my fault…and I will deal with that guilt for the rest of my life...because of my actions, Dawn was hurt again…and that’s something I’m going to have to live with.” She explained.
She laughed when Dean handed her a bottle of bubblegum vodka. She wasn’t a drinker by any means but this was definitely her poison if she so chose. “You’re a man after my own heart Dean.” She told him before opening the bottle and taking a swig of it, in her head simply stating screw the glasses.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow loved having Buffy for a friend and she always will, it seemed like no matter what and for whatever reason she always made Willow feel better. Willow still did feel like in way in it was her fault for what happened, but Buffy wasn’t going to let her feel that way and Willow loved her for that. “Yeah I guess it is kind of the Watchers Council fault, lords knows it not the only problem they have caused for us.” Willow said with a laugh. One thing still went threw Willow’s head on why she didn’t let her kill Kennedy? But as always the Slayer explained it to the witch, and when she told her Willow all ready kind of knew part of the reason why she all ready did. “Thanks Buffy I cant lie I really wouldn’t like to have to have another death on my conscience. But with what she did to Dawn I was so mad, I just wanted to give her what she disserved.” Willow said holding Buffy hand tightly back. She was so happy to have a friend who cared so much about what happened to her, with Tara gone these days Willow really didn’t have anyone. “Well Buffy I do understand why you had to do what you did, but I just want to tell you thanks for being there for me Buffy.” Willow said giving her friend a big hug. “You know Buffy I just feel bad that you have live with this death now, it not something you like to do. So it really make me worry for you buff.” Not long after that Dean was back into the house with some drinks, it was on now and this was going to turn into a good night. At lest Willow hopes so, she watched as Dean handed Buffy a bottle of bubblegum vodka. And the last Willow checked Buffy didn’t do to well with alcohol, they would just have to wait and see what the night brings. “Thanks Dean!” Willow said taking the beer from him. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------'I love this man,' she thought. Not in the sweaty, undying type of way Buffy did with Angel (though she wouldn't mind the sweaty part) but more like a... thank you for getting booze type of way. That sounded pretty stupid but who cared? She stood there while Dean was out getting booze from the car, watching Willow and Buffy talk. She was explaining why she decided who would kill Kennedy.
In a way she sort of understood it... Faith was to unclean and really probably couldn't handle anything like this again. It could honestly push her over the edge so that she become evil Faith again, something that no one wanted to let happen. "Well welcome to the club B," she said, trying to lighten the mood up a little. It was probably a failed attempt but it was better than nothing right?
Faith took the beer from Dean, drinking it without looking like she cared. The sweet, bitter taste of the booze was refreshing. A nice, hardy beer was so much better than the crap she'd been having in the kitchen... a little weaker probably but it tasted a shit ton better. "My hero," she said, snorting a little as she drank. Everyone here really needed the booze, there was little doubt in her mind.
"Well the a lot of the Watcher's Council did kind of blow up so I think they got theirs at least a little," she stated, remembering when the large building went kaboom during the invasion and massacre of the potential slayers by the First. Oh well, nothing they could have done about it... or perhaps maybe even wanted to do about it. After all they'd done to Faith in the past they deserved it. After all they've done to all of them. -----------------------------------------
