- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Dean was happy to see that Buffy liked what he give her, most girls do go nuts over that Stuff. “I’m happy you like it Buff!” Dean then turned to Willow and said. “Your welcome Willow now drink up!” He then took of his coat before sitting down on the couch, he propped his feet up and he pop open a beer kicking it back. “Now that’s the stuff, a nice cold beer to hit the spot!” Dean said after taking a drink. “After the day we have had guys we really needed this, I know Buffy did at least.” This really was a nice way to end the night for them, just friends chilling out having a drink. Actually this was the best thing to happen to Dean in a long time.
With Dean having a soulless brother hanging around all the time, they never really did anything fun anymore. It seemed all Sam did was act like a dick and have sex with strange woman, he really couldn’t care less about what happens to Dean either. Dean misses how it was back in the day when Sam had a soul. In that time Sam and Dean loved working together, had a good laugh, and at the end of the day they would both sit down for a beer. God how Dean misses that, He hopes one Day he gets Sammy back.
It seemed right now everyone was having a good time, Dean could really dig hanging out with his new found friends for now on. But then it got Dean wondering what Buffy planed to do next after all of this, was she working another job and if so maybe Dean could help. “So Buffy what are your plans after this because if you need a hunters help I’m you man!” Said Dean with excitement in his voice. Dean needed someone to work with, with how Sam as been he really wasn’t a good partner to have anymore.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Not for the first time that night she was more than a little thankful that Angel and Kathy had gone out for a sister/brother weekend. She was glad that neither of them were involved with the drama that had gone down in the past 12 hours and was even more grateful that Angel wasn’t around to witness the way she was handling killing Kennedy. She knew that out of anyone he would understand and she also knew out of everyone he was the one who would want to talk to her about it…and at that moment she didn’t have the energy to deal with her feelings. She would deal with it in the comfort of her own bedroom later that night…not now in front of a bunch of people.
She knew that Angel would make her deal with things if she hadn’t dealt with them before he got back. Hell either way she knew she would have to talk to him about it because that was just the way she and Angel dealt with each other. She thought momentarily about not telling him anything that had happened but then quickly dismissed that thought. She wasn’t a moron…she knew eventually someone would slip up and say something about it and then he would be even more upset with her because she had not only done it…but she had lied about it. She knew that he wouldn’t be disappointed with her because he really had no room to talk…but she knew that he would be disappointed for her being that killing a human was something that he never wanted her to have to experience.
She smiled at her red-headed best friend when she thanked her. “Please don’t thank me. This was my decision and I had to handle it. However I’m glad you don’t have to deal with the consequences.” She told her quietly. “I’ll deal with my issues at a later date…right now I simply want to get drunk and let loose. Angel will be back tomorrow and Giles said a few more potentials may be heading our way for me to train so this is our last night to really be free and relax.” She stated with a fake smile. She knew it was fake, and she knew that Willow, Faith, and hell even Dean probably knew it was fake, but she really hoped no one called her out on it.
Buffy laughed at Faith’s failed attempt at humor. “It’s a club that I’m one of the last to join it seems…but I’m glad about that.” She stated before taking another drink of bubblegum vodka…glad for the familiar burn in her throat.
The blonde laughed a bit at Dean’s question. “I’m here to attempt to get rid of some of the supernatural crap going on in Richmond as well as the neighboring town which is Mystic Falls. It’s weird as the police force seems to know a bit more about vampires and such then I’m comfortable with. Also there are a shit ton of potential slayers coming out of the wood work so I’m here to deal with that as well. However if I need a hunter I’ll definitely let you know. I could always use the extra help…just don’t get killed.” She stated with a laugh before taking another drink, already feeling the alcohol affecting her.
Yeah, what could she say, she was a light weight.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow knew that they needed to have some fun and put this behind them, because Buffy is right tomorrow they will have to go back to there everyday fun fill life. It sounds like Giles will be sending more potentials for them to work with, and Angel will be back as well. Oh nice for Buffy more drama, well man drama anyway. Willow couldn’t lie she loved Angel he was pretty cool for a Vampire, Willow just didn’t like all the heartache and drama that he had put Buffy threw. But that was Buffy’s life Drama 24/7, it was very rarely they didn’t have drama going on. Anyway Willow was ready to have some fun, she leaded over and gabbed herself a shot glass and begin to poor some of Buffy bubble gum vodka. Willow knew she needed to watch it though just like Buffy Willow didn’t hold her liquor to well, Willow remembers drinking a bit whenever her and Tara broke up. She didn’t handle it too well then, so Willow never really is much to go and drink. But Willow was going to take it slow and go for it, she wanted to have fun with the gang. Willow kicked back the shot of bubble gum vodka, she wasn’t so hot on the tasted of it. It was so strong and yet hard to swallow, she could really feel the burring in her throat. “Eww that is strong stuff and it don’t taste that great, I have made potions that taste better then that Buffy. I think I will stick to beer.” Willow said still trying to stop coughing. Willow was all ready feeling a bit lightheaded she could tell she didn’t drink much, but when did she have time really. She was always ether busy with helping Buffy or working on her magic and spells. Which is what she has been doing a lot lately, she still trying to find away to make Angels soul permanent. So far she hasn’t found anything but that doesn’t mean she is giving up that easy, she won’t stop till Willow finds something. And when she does Buffy is going to love it, it will be the best day of Angel and Buffy’s life. Or at lest Willow hopes so. Angel had spent the weekend with Katheryn bonding. He'd taken her out of Richmond, away and into the country. Basically they had spent the entire time catching up. He had learned a bit more about where she'd been this entire time. Heard about the old woman that cared for her, heard about this Anthony fellow. He still wasn't too keen on the guy as of yet. Of course he was sure he was just being overprotective. Plus, he was glad that she'd at least had a male to watch out for her. Still he didn't like that a man was calling his baby sister "love" as he had the other night on the phone. Once he met him, there would definitely be an interrogation of sorts to get to know him. He wanted to hold of judging the guy until they actually met but that was proving difficult.
Anyways, he had taken Kathy out to a little cabin in the woods. They had driven his car, with their bags packed and a cooler full of blood. It was about three hours away from Buffy's house she was renting. It had been nice to get away from the house, to get into some fresh air. Granted, neither of them needed to breath but it had still been a nice thought. Plus it had been extremely quiet up there which had been nice as well. They'd been able to talk for hours and catch up. And per Kathy's request, they'd gotten a cabin that had a television equipped with satellite. Much to his dismay, they'd also spent some time watching television. She'd forced him into watching some Hello Kitty, of which he would never admit to anyone.
Originally they had planned on coming back tomorrow. In fact, that had been what he'd told Buffy. Instead they had ended up leaving tonight. Katheryn had thought it would be cute for Angel to surprise her coming back early. Plus, they had both wanted to get back. They'd been gone the entire weekend and now that it was Sunday night, they missed their own beds. Well, the beds that they were currently using anyways. Nothing in the house was theirs technically.
Things were still kind of off between Buffy and himself. Since he'd come here, they still hadn't really talked about their relationship. In fact they had kind of more or less been avoiding that conversation in particular. He figured that tonight would have to be the night, no putting it off any longer. Katheryn was asleep next to him in the car, not having been able to stay up much later being that the car ride was three hours long. Although by the time they actually reached the house it had only ended up taking a few minutes past two hours to get there. He'd been driving a bit over the speed limit and there wasn't any traffic this late.
Parking the car in the long driveway, he carried their bags up and set them on the porch. Next, he opened the car door and picked up Kathyern in his arms. As he approached the door he let himself in with one hand, pushing the door open with his back as he walked inside. Not paying attention to anything else, he carried her downstairs and laid her in her bed. She shifted a bit in her sleep, mumbling to him. He kissed her forehead, per usual, and tucked her in before telling her goodnight. He then returned up the stairs and began to head outside to get their bags. On his way there, he noticed people in the living room.
Not just people. Buffy, Willow, Faith, and some man. Not only were they all together but they appeared to be drinking together. He had never seen this man before in his life. Now he was here, in Buffy's house, getting drunk with his...not girlfiend, but whatever Buffy was? Let's just say he wasn't exactly thrilled at the sight before him. He stopped at the entrance to the living room and leaned up against the wooden entrance frame. "Buffy" he said with a certain tone, one that she'd heard all too fun. "Having a good time?" he asked. His tone sounded genuine but if Buffy knew him at all, she'd know that it wasn't. It was actually quite the opposite of genuine. As he said this he couldn't help but look at the man in their house instead of looking at Buffy. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Buffy couldn’t help but laugh at her best friend’s face when she tried to shot of bubblegum vodka. She knew that most people couldn’t handle the straight shots of vodka, no matter what flavor it was. It was strong, she would give it that, but really it tasted a lot better than beer or whatever it was that they were drinking. The blonde slayer had learned her lesson with beer, whether it tasted good (it didn’t) or not. She would never again imbibe in that stuff, knowing that the last time she did she had gone all cave-Buffy. It was definitely not a fun experience.
With that being said however, she had to admit that she loved bubblegum vodka. No one knew that during when everything was going down with the first, most nights she would have to take a shot or two of bubblegum vodka in order to get herself to sleep. She hated turning to something like that as she was worried but she couldn’t help it. She knew that she would be leading people to their deaths, girls who hadn’t signed up for this, and yet she couldn’t help but need to rely on them, hence the alcohol induced sleep. She remembered when Spike had asked her one time why she had taken to smelling like bubblegum…she had simply laughed it off…but that was when she stopped doing the shots every night. She didn’t want to start smelling like alcohol too. It had taken her a while to learn how to sleep without it.
Her inner ramblings were cut off when she heard the front door open. No one walked in for a few moments so she ignored it. Unfortunately she couldn’t ignore the tingle in her stomach that told her exactly who had walked in the door. Before she could make a move she saw a familiar brown haired man walking in, his little sister absent so she assumed he had put her downstairs before coming to find her. She waved slightly at him, not looking in his eyes, for fear that he would see how much anguish she was truly in.
“Angel.” She stated, their usual greetings. They never said ‘hi’ or ‘hello’. It was always one another’s names, though they had a tendency to say them like a prayer instead of just a name. She heard him ask if she was having a good time and she nodded, holding up her bubblegum vodka bottle to show him exactly how good of a time she was having. She knew he would be confused being that she had never been a drinker. She finally risked looking him in the eyes and she had immediately regretted it. She could see the jealousy there but she could also see his undying compassion and tears immediately flooded her own hazel eyes.
The slayer stood up quickly, noting that she was feeling slightly light headed but nothing major. “I’m going to go to bed guys. Faith, Dean, thanks for the help. Willow, Angel, talk to you tomorrow.” She stated before bolting up the stairs, closing her door and locking it tightly. She prayed Angel wouldn’t follow her. She didn’t need to break down to him tonight. However that didn’t stop the silent tears from falling down her face in grief.
She wasn’t sure if she would ever be ready to share her grief.
