Madison Mackenzie Compassion Saxon had woken up that morning like most mornings. The pounding in her head never ceased. She rolled out of bed and she headed over into her personal bathroom and grabbed some migraine medicine that never helped. She took it anyway so that she could just reassure her cousins that she was doing something about it. She never told them that the headaches were a result from the visions she gets. All they knew was that she was a prophet and recording her visions was her job at the moment.
She walked back into her room and pulled on a pair of skinny jeans, with a Beatles shirt over her black cami. She also put on a pair of black converse and headed down the stairs. In the kitchen, there was a note on the table that told her where everyone was. She read it quickly and didn’t care. She now had the day to do what she wanted and she was going to do just that.
Maddie sat down at the table with an apple in her hand. She started eating it and many different things ran through the brunette’s mind. First was her wondering when Loki, or rather Gabriel, was coming back. He would pop in every once in a while, both of them knowing that he shouldn’t be doing that. He had told her what was going on, about some angel named Castiel and his older brother the Archangel Raphael, Heaven’s civil war, him now being friends with Dean Winchester… it was all very confusing to her. She just nodded and went along with it. She did appreciate he would take the time to tell her though.
She also began to wonder what had happened to her father, where he was. It wasn’t that she cared about him, but she cared about her cousins and friends and didn’t want him to hurt them.
Maddie stood up and she walked out of the house and headed down the street. There was one thing in this world that she didn’t mind and it was walking. Maddie had walked into a Border’s book store and smiled. She walked over to the comics, her obsession, and sat down to look at some comics about Batman, and The A-Team. She grabbed the two that she wanted and she walked over to the cash register and had purchased them. She headed over into the café and ordered herself a coffee. Maddie sat down at a table in the corner and opened one of the comics and started reading it.

--------------------------------- --------------------------------- Tara had woken up relatively early that morning in order to go collect some flowers that only bloomed at dawn for some protection spells she was working on. It was still surreal, living with the whole group again, but now that she was back in the swing of things, she felt a lot less awkward. It no longer felt like she was intruding where she wasn’t supposed to be anymore. Well, when she really thought about it, that feeling should really have never gone away because she was supposed to be dead, but she ignored those kinds of thoughts as much as she humanly could.
She did miss all the things that they had lost in Sunnydale. The wiccan shop here was nice, and very similar to the magic box, but it didn’t have the same sort of homey feel that she had always felt when they were there. Still, she ended up over at the store to just poke around as soon as they opened. Tara wasn’t one to sleep away all day anyways, so she thought she might as well make a day of it. Halfway through poking through the store, she nearly had the idea in her that she should probably apply for a job here or at the bookstore down the street. It made her feel awful that she was staying with the crew without really contributing. It made her feel like some sort of dependent housewife, though… she did love taking care of everyone. Especially her Willow.
Eventually, Tara managed to tear herself away from all of the neat things in the store. Checking her watch, she decided to pull out her cell phone and send a quick text to Willow to see if she wanted to get coffee or something at the Borders. Tara missed Willow every second that she was separated from her. She clicked out a message quickly as she walked down the street to the Borders. “Hey Willow. It’s me. Well I think you know that. =) But I left early to collect the primrose, but I thought you might want to meet me at Borders? See you soon. Love, Tara.” The phone snapped shut with a click, sliding easily back into her pocket.
The sliding doors opened with a mechanical hiss when she stepped into the Borders and she began perusing the shelves rather quickly, picking through all sort of different genres of books and blushing at the particularly racy ones. She picked up a couple of random books and walked over to the café to look through them so she could decide if she wanted to buy one of them. Leaving them on a table, she wandered back over to the barista, but ended up tripping over her own feet right next to another girl. She didn’t curse, but instead flushed bright red. “S-sorry.” She apologized for nothing in particular and hoped that she wouldn’t make eye contact with the other girl and that Willow would meet her soon. She was horrid alone in public and Will always seemed to help. ---------------------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow was running some earns that she had to do for the house, it seemed like these days Willow never really got a day off from everything since she moved from Rome. she ether always has to pick up something for a spell or something that Buffy might need for her slaying. But Willow really doesn’t mind that much, it made her feel very much needed in saving the world and all that in what they do. Willow did love doing what she did in getting to help Buffy with the slayers, and it seems like every day she was leaning some new spell. But most of All what Willow love the most is having Tara back in her life, that why Willow was a little bothered with always being busy working. Willow wish she could have just one day for just her and Tara. Just a day were she could take Tara to dinner, go to a movie and maybe even take a walk threw a walk in the park. Really since Tara has been back life has been crazy with everything going on it never stops. But Willow knew she just needed to be patient and that the time would come, were she would have some alone time with the love of her life. Were Willow could take care of her baby and give her what she never got to give her in the time they lost. Willow was going to make sure that she did everything right this time, and cherish the time they have been giving back to them. The not long after that Willow had gotten a message from Tara, Willow picked it up and saw that it was her baby. She said something about wanting to meet her at borders, Willow closed her phone in excitement of getting to see her baby. Willow then hurried on her way to see her Tara, she was happy to be going to have sometime with her. Willow was also excited to be going to the book store, one of Willow’s favorite place to go other then the library. Willow made to the bookstore and started to look for Tara, they place was kind of dead it really wasn’t that busy. But it was a huge so who knows maybe this was busy for them. After looking and looking she finally spotted Tara looking threw some books, and it looks like she was talking to some girl. Not to worry Willow wasn’t going to be the jealous type, but it might be smart for her to get over there and see what is going on anyway. “Hey baby” Willow said giving her a sweet little kiss a on the cheek. “Sorry it took me a while to get here, It was a long walk from here.” Willow then looked over and at the new girl Tara was talking to and said, “Hi I’m Willow” Word Count- 486 Tagged- Maddie and Tara Outfit-Click to see Willow's cute outfit!!! Batman in another daring adventure against the Joker with the help of Robin, his side kick. Madison Mackenzie Compassion Saxon had loved every moment of it. She loved reading and well comics in general. She was a geek and a nerd like that. She shared the passion with her older cousin Billy who used to read as much as she did when they were kids. It was a thing they did together, collecting comic books and reading them together. Maddie took a sip of a coffee that she had gotten and she had looked up a moment. She reached into her converse brand purse and pulled out the sketch diary that she had always carried with her. She opened it to the page that she started drawing a person she had never seen before, and probably will never see. She just stared at it before she closed it again.
Maddie’s attention was turned to a young brunette who looked a little older than she was, but not by much. She was very pretty, a little taller than Maddie, but not by much. She smiled and gave a light shrug. “Sorry for what?” Maddie asked her curiously. She saw the girl trip but she didn’t hurt her. “You didn’t hurt me at all. Are you okay?” Madison asked her, now closing her comic book to give the girl her full attention, or what was left of it.
Maddie looked over when another young woman came into the scene. She was with the other girl, seeing as she kissed her lightly on the cheek. She didn’t mind gay partners, while others might think that it is wrong in every way. Maddie smiled to her too. She then introduced herself as Willow. That was an odd name. odd but cool. Maddie was into the weird names. “I’m Madison, but everyone calls me Maddie.” She replied with a smile, hoping that she wouldn’t be interrupting something between the two. “Its nice to meet you.” She then said, knowing that she needed to know more people out of the circle of her cousins and Billy’s fiancée, then Gabriel. She never met anyone that Gabriel knew, and wondered why. She figured it was because he really didn’t have any friends and the ones he did have didn’t know that he was really an Archangel.
--------------------------------- --------------------------------- Tara flushed once again when Madison asked her what she was apologizing for. Goddess, I did it again. She thought to herself quickly, knowing she just looked extremely awkward. “I. Uh. Well. I interrupted your reading. So… I’m sorry for that?” Her statement sounded more like a question and she was about to retreat rather hastily when Willow came over. She could feel her body flood with a relief and then a certain level of calmness. Tara knew she would be fine whenever Willow was there. She straightened herself up and stood next to Willow a little more confidently, boosted by her presence.
Willow’s kiss, albeit rather chaste, made Tara freeze slightly. She would have loved to been completely relaxed and calm at the public display of affection. She wanted nothing more than to be able to do that, but she was always nervous about how other people would treat them. Willow may be much more confident in that aspect, but Tara still didn’t want anyone to be a danger to her, even if Willow could more than defend herself. People were just so ignorant of love, and how much she could possibly love Willow. She offered Willow a nervous smile in return.
“Hello Will.” She smiled a little less nervously as she took in her lover’s face. Tara’s hand slipped into Willow’s a bit possessively, like she still needed to guard her from anyone or anything. “That’s fine love.” She squeezed her hand gently, looking over at Madison and nodding, “And I’m Tara. It’s nice to meet you too Maddie.” Tara’s feet shuffled awkwardly beneath her, a usual sign of discomfort.
She turned her head to look back over at Willow, not quite sure if they would head back over to their own table or continue talking to the other girl in front of them. She felt like leaving at the moment would be quite rude, considering they had just taken the time to introduce themselves to her. Tara had never been good at this kind of thing, but she managed to offer up a bit of conversation, “Are… Are you from around here?” She asked Maddie rather casually, realizing after she asked that it probably would have sounded more normal for her to as what she was reading, as opposed to creepily asking where she was from. At least, that’s what Tara surmised.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow knew that sometimes when she kissed Tara in public, people were probably going to be looking in shock on what to think about it. But Willow really couldn’t care, she loved Tara more then anything and Willow was going to make sure she showed that to her everyday to try and make up for the time they has lost. Willow was so thankful to have the one she loved more then anything in the whole world back, and nothing NOTHING! Was going to take her away from Willow again, Willow will make sure of that. And if they do try Willow will end them just like she did Warren. Well maybe not has bad as what she did, Willow is not proud for her actions of what she did. If she could go back she probably wouldn’t have taken it quite that far, Willow was not herself at all then. Part of her has trouble remembering everything that she did, some of it is all still a blur. But for the most part Willow remembers all the horrible things she did and said to everyone, she is just happy Tara never had to see that side of her and hopes she never has to. Willow could never let her see that she was capable of being that kind of a person. Willow wants Tara to think of her as a kind sweet person who lover her forever and always. Willow gave Tara a sweet smile back to her when she said hi to Willow, “hey baby so what are you to? What are you guys talking about?” said Willow as she took Tara’s hand. Willow held it tight yet sweetly never wanting to let go of it. She tuned back to the new girl that Tara was talking to, She said that her name was Madison. “It is nice to meet you Maddie, We just moved here not to long ago from Rome. We are here on a important job to help a friend and it could take awhile, so we are leaving her for the moment. How about you then?” asked Willow. So far she seemed like a very nice person, which made Willow happy. She was always looking to meet new people, concerting the fact they didn’t know many people in town still. Well it didn’t help them always having to slay with Buffy, that made it hard to really do anything. But that was there job keep the world safe and Willow was ok with that. Maddie smiled at Tara and shook her head. “no, you didn’t interrupt me at all.” Maddie replied with a smiled and she took another sip of her coffee. “seriously, its okay.” Maddie said, recognizing that she was embarrassed and looked a bit uncomfortable. She looked at the other girl and then back to Tara as she introduced herself. “its nice to meet both of you.”
They both had asked her where she was from and how long she had been here. The one girl, Willow had told her that they moved here not that long ago because of an important job. Well, they all the important job in common. “I moved here from Sacramento California. Me and my cousins moved her a few years ago. We like it, its nice, I guess.” Maddie stated. It was a little weird, the things she had found out. Sure, if there were angels and demons, ghosts and other supernatural stuff she figured that there had to be vampires and other stuff out there too right?
Maddie wasn’t all that good with conversations, usually her attitude would get the better of her, like what happened when she met Spike. They both seemed like they were ready to attack each other at certain points in their first meeting, but then she guessed everything was okay. They both found each other attractive. she still had the drawing of him in her sketchbook. Okay, she did admit it that was an awkward night, that started off with her smacking him in the face with her sketchbook but it got better.
Maddie looked at them and she then asked curiously “so where are you both from?” Maddie looked from the book she put down then to Willow and Tara. “You guys want to sit, if your not busy or have any plans. I don’t want to intrude or anything…” Maddie said wondering if she really was intruding on them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madison then told Willow and Tara that they could sit if they liked too, they really didn’t have any plans right now so sound like a great idea. “Thanks don’t mind if we do, and no we aren’t really that busy right now. We Just wanted to get some new books and maybe a cup of coffee, but chatting with some new sounds way more fun.” Said Willow with excitement in her voice. Then not long after they all sat down, Tara had gotten a call from Dawn. It seemed that Dawn was really upset and needed someone to talk to, and for some reason whenever Dawn was upset she could only really talk to Tara about stuff. Tara told Willow that she had to leave and that she would see her later at the house, by the way Tara was acting she seemed upset. This really made Willow worry for Dawn, she hoped she was ok. But it really wouldn’t matter if Willow went with Tara, Dawn would talk to her anyway. “Ok baby I will see you back at home later then, call me on my cell and let me know when you find out what is wrong with Dawn. I‘m worried about her to.” Said Willow giving Tara a kiss good bye on the cheek. Willow then sat back down “ Sorry about that, so California huh? I’m from Sunnydale California myself, I mean when there was a Sunnydale. Maddie smiled as Willow agreed to sit with her. She would enjoy the company. That much she knew. She watched Tara look at her phone and get up and leave. Maddie waved to her and looked back at Willow. She hoped that it wasn’t horribly awkward for Willow since they had just met, although it wasn’t like Maddie was going to attack her or anything. Maddie smiled and then looked at Willow with a curious, and serious look. “I hope everything is okay.” Maddie had said still with a concerning look on her face.
Sunnydale. Maddie never heard of it. Maybe because they had only been in Sacramento for a short amount of time. Moving was kind of their thing. Maddie shrugged. “sorry never heard of it.” she then thought a moment and she then asked again “what happened to it?” she was curious as to what had happened. Towns usually don’t fall off the face of the map. None of them do unless they were blown to oblivion or something a lot worse happened to them. “its nice, met some interesting people, and people I never wanted to see again, but other than that I like it” Maddie smiled to her. She had still been very interested in Spike, the vampire she had met in the park the other night, she just wished that it didn’t end the way it did. Her family really knew how to screw things up. Maddie let out a sigh and dismissed the thoughts from her head. She smiled to Willow and she then asked curiously “how about you? Do you like it here?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow could tell that Maddie was showing concern and seemed worried for them on what was going on, she said she hoped that everything was ok. “ Yeah I’m sure it will be, Dawn just probably is just a bit down and needs someone to talk to. It will all work out.” Said Willow. Dawn had to be having boy trouble or something, or maybe she was just having a fight with Buffy. Sadly with Dawn you never really know what the case maybe be, but something was always wrong with her. She then has asked what happened to Sunnydale, Willow didn’t ever really know what to say on the subject. If she told her the truth about what happened Willow didn’t think she would even really believe it. How do you even start to tell someone oh well the town was sucked into hellmouth and now it is gone, sounds way to crazy for Willow to say. But who knows maybe this girl knows what is really out there in the world, but still on the safe side Willow might want to keep the truth to herself. “Oh there was in explosion at the power plant that was in town, something went wrong. Stupid power plant!” Said Willow. She then told Willow more about how she felt about the town, and Willow did agree with her there. There were some interesting people there, and some Willow never wants to meet again. But for the most part it wasn’t to bad there, she has been to worse. “Yeah the people here aren’t to bad, and the town is ok. Maddie nodded to Willow’s words. She wouldn’t worry now. It seemed like their friend Tara was a nice person, a person who cared about people. She was happy that she met the two. They both seemed really nice, like they cared about a lot. Maddie listened to her talk about a power plant explosion that caused their town to blow up. It sounded a little weird to Maddie but she would dismiss it. Everyone had their secrets, hers was probably one of the biggest. She let out a sigh and she then said to Willow “I’m sorry, that sounds terrible.” she really didn’t know what else to say to that. It must be terrible to have your home taken away from you.
Maddie let out a sigh and she looked at her half empty cup of coffee and wondered if she should get a new one. No, that would mean that she would be up all night. She took another sip and she carefully placed it down. The brunette looked at Willow and she listened to her talk about this place. When Willow said she was in Rome Maddie smiled. “that sounds awesome. I was born in London that’s the only time I have been in Europe. I would love to see Italy, and France and Spain. It sounds fantastic.” Maddie smiled to Willow. She would love to see the art in Italy. It just sounded like it would be another amazing thing that she could do but probably wouldn’t happen. “I have moved around a bit. I used to live in Sacramento, then here. I miss the weather in Sacramento.” Maddie said, knowing what it was like to move around a lot.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yeah it really was terrible about what happened Willow will never be able to forget Sunnydale, what can she say it was her home and she loved it there. Even though the town always had something horrible going on with it, well it was over the hell mouth after all all. But it was still home to her, its were Willow grew up and went to High School to were she got to meet Xander, Buffy and Giles. “Thanks it was terrible, but the town did have some freakie stuff about it. Maybe it was karma so that’s why it is gone. Who really knows” Said Willow Willow though it was really cool that Maddie was from London, her and Giles would really get along really well. “wow that is cool! I have a friend that is from there as well, you too should meet sometime, he loves to talk about London. He really loves it there, and as for Rome yeah it is pretty cool I guess. But yeah you should check it out sometime.” Said Willow. Rome wasn’t to bad it had became home over time, Willow does love teaching her class after all and it was very beautiful there so that was a plus. Willow knew Tara was going to love it when she takes her there, that is when they are done with this town. Who really know when that will be. It almost sounded like Maddie had to move around a lot, it made Willow wonder why she had to move so much. She wanted to ask her but Willow just hoped it didn’t make her sound nosy, “So why have you moved around so much?” Asked Willow curiously. Madison listened to Willow. She wondered why the red haired girl blamed karma. Karma wasn’t really something Maddie believed in. she mostly believed in luck, like dumb luck and bad luck. “Don’t believe in karma.” Maddie commented on the subject. It was true. She wondered if it was because she thought she was a good person and is always told she is and yet horrible shit happens to her, no matter what it is. It was just her luck her father ended up being a demon, that she was a prophet and a moving target all the time. She hated it but at least her cousins knew a little and Kaitlyn had been talking about magic lately, which Maddie didn’t approve of and all this other stuff.
Maddie snapped out of her thoughts when Willow talked about a friend that was from London and that he loves it there. Maddie merely shrugged at the subject. “I moved to Sacramento when I was young so I don’t remember it at all. I would love to go back though. My cousins are talking about it, whether it happens or not it way, way, way up in the air.” Maddie laughed a little. She looked at Willow and nodded about visiting Italy. She could only dream. There was just too much going on right now and she didn’t think she would be able to ever go unless something freak happened and allowed her to go.
Willow then asked why Maddie had moved around so much. The truth? Constant running. A lot of which the Archangel Gabriel had enough to do with. It was great for the most part but they were all sick of it, running. They just needed to end it. Maddie looked at Willow and tried to think of a more reasonable answer. After all, she cant say because an archangel organized it all and we are running from a demon who just happens to be my father…
“jobs. My cousin Billy, really. Constantly moving around.” Maddie lied, knowing she was a terrible liar and hoped that Willow wouldn’t ask anymore on the subject. After all, she didn’t want the woman in front of her to think she was crazy. There was a lot that wasn’t known about her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow didn’t know if she could a agree with her all the way, to a certain extant Willow believe in Karma and other times she didn’t. With the way the gangs life goes its all hard to say really, all Willow really can say is they have one crazy life. “yeah Karma can be over rated sometimes.” Willow said with a giggle. Willow then picked up her cup of coffee and took a drink, she love having a nice warm cup it was just the thing to calm her nerves. Then as Willow was sitting there her cell phone went off, she picked up her cell to see who is was. “Oh hey its Tara maybe she knows what is wrong with Dawn, I’m going to answer this give me one moment.” Willow said picking up the phone. “hey baby what is up?” Tara told Willow not to worry and Dawn was just having boy troubles as always, Willow was happy and figured that’s what it was. “Well that’s good! It nice to know Dawn is ok. Well I will be hone in a bit baby I love you.” Willow closed her cell phone and said to Maddie. “ Don’t worry everything is ok Dawn was just having a boy problems, she always does this is nothing new to us.” Willow said laughing. Willow then looked at the time, she had forgotten that she was suppose to meet up with Buffy at the cemetery to help Slay. But Willow didn’t really want to leave Maddie just yet, so she though about asking Maddie to go with her. She has to learn about what is really out there sometime, plus she doesn’t seem like the type to freak out. “Hey I just forgot I need to meet up with my friend at the Cemetery, but I would really like you to go with me want to come? When Willow said that karma could be over rated sometimes, Maddie half smiled and nodded. She just never found karma something to believe in. she wondered if it was because of Gabriel some how. Oh well. She wasn’t going to dwell on it much longer.
Maddie was starting to get a bit fidgety. She really needed to get up and move around. It was always something she needed. She couldn’t sit in the same place for long time. It usually got to her. Willow then answered her phone. Maddie checked hers as well and saw that she had missed some text messages. She went through them, Kaitlyn bugging her about some things then other things that she was annoyed with and it went on and on. Willow had hung up her phone, and Maddie looked back at her. She smiled when Willow said that Dawn was having boy problems. Well if only Maddie could have that. Gabriel didn’t count so much, but boy problems had made her think more of Spike than Gabriel. She just hate how that meeting ended up. It was a pain in the ass. “boy problems, if only I knew how to deal with them.” Maddie said to Willow thinking about the meeting with Spike and her father and her then to Gabriel who never seemed to be around and when he was, he seemed out of it. She knew he had died, killed by Lucifer but she never thought it would have effected him this badly and this much.
Maddie jumped up as Willow offered. “yeah, sure, sounds great!” Maddie smiled to her. She really liked the red headed girl that sat in front of her and she was now walking beside. They seemed to have some things in common. “so how long have you and Tara been together?” Maddie then asked her curiously.
