--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Another long day in Mystic Falls. Lisa was bored and Ben was at his friends house for the night. Tossing on her sweater and plugging in some headphones she left her house. Closing the door behind her and locking it up tight, Lisa went off for a run. Lisa loved to exercise, it was a great pass time and there was not harm done n keeping up a nice appearance and healthy body.
On her run Lisa thought to make a stop at the Falls and so she did. Taking a trail there, being careful not to fall over any rocks she came down to the Falls. Her breath was heavy and her forehead was slightly damp with sweat. Lisa was feeling good, her heart beat was up and she decided to sit and just relax a little at the Falls, since she was there anyways. With a small sigh escaping her plump lips she took a seat on a large rock right next to the Falls, her music lightly playing in her ears. It was low enough to hear the things surrounding her but loud enough for her to still hear the bass.
It was a warm night and the mist of the Falls gently landed over Lisa's body it was a calming sensation and it helped cool her body down. All Lisa wanted to do was just to sit there for forever but alas she could not, she had a child to care for tomorrow not to mention work, and all those other things adults had to do. Lisa knew she shouldn't stay out too long, most creatures came out at night, and so many people have been going missing or killed by some strange animal. It really wasn't a safe town like most people say it is, and unfortunately she had some cleaning to do around the house. At the moment Lisa didn't really have a care in the world, it was a nice night and all she wanted to do was just enjoy the quiet time she was getting.
As she sat there she couldn't help but think about Dean, where he was, if he was safe. It had been a while since she last saw him. Shaking that thought from her head she looked over at the water, the moon reflecting off of it gave the clear water edges a silver lining. "Well that is a little odd, never seen that before... Must be the lighting or something." Lisa was talking to herself again. It's something Lisa noticed herself doing that a lot recently. Shaking it off she leaned back and shut her eyes, letting her body relax and just melt into her seat on the rocks.

They say that a hero can save us (I'm not gonna stand here and wait) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Castiel was letting Dean have some time to himself. It was the least that he could do for his human friend. Now the angel had no idea what to do so he just decided to wander the town of Mystic Falls. There was usually much to see, people, animals, and whatever else there was to watch. The angel had made it a point to just walk, and not teleport from place to place for the most part. Being caught doing something like that would have been awkward. Not that there was any end to Castiel's awkwardness. At Dean's request, Castiel had put up Enochian scripts and sigils on the Braeden home to keep his family safe, but he never actually branded the people that lived there like he had done to Sam, Dean, and Bobby.
The angel's travels had brought him to the falls again. It was here that he had met that young girl, and her twin brother. Castiel could certainly feel the presence of vampires in the area. He had become more familiar with their aura since he had arrived in this town. It was all over the place and unmistakable. That was when he had noticed someone stop at the waterfall. She was likely here to sit and rest. The seraph was likely going to pay little attention to this person. Or at least Castiel thought he was going to. She spoke about the water being odd in the lighting. Castiel knew this woman was not safe here by herself. After all with all the creatures in this town and surrounding area. He'd stick around, the angel felt that this human was not one that he should leave alone, and he could quite understand why. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Lisa Outfit: This is Cas, he never changes out of that trenchcoat Notes: He is just this akward lol. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As Lisa sat there just relaxing watching the water ripple, she felt an odd presence close by. Pulling her head phone from one ear she decided to listen. Turning her head she called out into the night air "Hello? Anyone out there?" Lisa was calm, she wasn't afraid of the dark or the things that ran around in the night. She was able to protect herself one way or another. What she didn't know was what ALL was out there which was for the better cause than she might never leave her house again.
Shifting her position so she could get a better view of what was around her, she waited for a response. Her fists balled and ready to strike. In this position it would probably just end up being a squirrel or something small and cute, maybe filled with rabies. Who knew, Lisa didn't and she wasn't really wanting to find out, no matter how cute it was. Getting herself to relax a little she stood up letting her fists open so she could stretch her fingers. Lisa had been to the Falls plenty of times at night and nothing had ever happened than... Shaking off any threatening or scary thoughts Lisa leaned against a wall of rocks. Still being cautious she crossed her arms and waited for a little, just to see if someone was really there or not. Maybe it was Dean, coming to scare her for fun. That was a silly thought to have though because he was off working and they hadn't talked in a while. Lisa couldn't think of who all she knew that knew she ran to the Falls just about every night, so it had to be a stranger or an animal which was not an unlikely thought because there were hobos and well wild creatures out here. Placing a finger to her mouth she thought about it. "Maybe I should start running a little earlier? Maybe." Lisa thought to herself but that would cut into time she spent with Ben, it was an idea that would be contemplated in the near future.

They say that a hero can save us (I'm not gonna stand here and wait) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Castiel wandered around the vicinity of the falls. Some would say that it appeared as if he were scouting the area for anything that would be dangerous. The angel did sort of give Dean his word that he would keep the hunter's family safe. Castiel was an angel of his word. He never really was much of a manipulator, and his lying was terrible, so he had to see to it that the Braedens were safe. He was successful so far, and that was good. This all was running through the angel's mind when he snapped a twig. Then he heard an aimless question. He couldn't actually be sure that this woman was the Lisa that Dean had told him about.
Oh it seemed as if he had been caught. Castiel moved into the young woman's line of sight in a calm and collected manner. He might as well let her know that he meant no harm. “I don't mean any harm,” he said. He didn't know exactly who this woman was so he couldn't give her the whole 'I know Dean' speech. The seraph didn't know what sort of effect that would have here. At least his presence wasn't making the lamps dotting the area around the falls blow out of flicker. Okay maybe they were flickering. That was something he couldn't really help.
“It's not safe to be out here alone,” Castiel remarked. Yes that sounded weird, but the angel really was concerned for her safety. He also wasn't going to hurt her. She was definitely human, from what he could sense, so the angel had no reason to get violent. Not right now anyway. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Lisa Outfit: This is Cas, he never changes out of that trenchcoat Notes: He is just this akward lol. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lisa looked at the man that was now standing before her. He gave off this presence and she didn't really know what it was. It was nerve recking, yet safe. shaking it off she looked over his features. "You mean me no harm, hmm." A part of her didn't believe him, as long as she staid cautious she should be fine. Lisa was a fast runner and there was enough space between them that she would have plenty of time to take off if needed. Turning her music off she put it into her pocket, not really sure what to say or do, there was a strange man standing before her in a trench coat. It almost screamed creepy, but at the same time she has seen a lot of people with coats like that, maybe they are warm or something.
"If it's not safe, than why are you out here alone?" Lisa was still so unsure about him, but she was not one to judge a book by it's cover. Lisa trusted everyone it was just the evil inside them she didn't trust. "So why are you out here, at night, alone?" She couldn't help but to ask, her curiosity getting the better of her like always. Lisa lifted off the wall trying to get a better look at this mans face. She was good at seeing people for who they are but it was difficult when she couldn't even see is face.
The wind began to pick up a little, sending Lisa's long dark hair falling past her shoulders. The cool breeze felt good against her skin. Being out side was one of her favorite things in life. Just the way everything fell into place was wonderful, and there were so many different things that could be seen, explored, smelled, and tasted. A small, almost nonexistent smile laid over Lisa's lips as she took a deep breath an slowly let it out once again. They say that a hero can save us (I'm not gonna stand here and wait) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Again his honesty was being tested. Castiel was a terrible liar to begin with. There was very little that could harm Castiel. So far he had seen nothing in this town that could hurt him. Dean could in theory hurt him, but that was about it. “You can choose to believe me,” Castiel replied, “I really don't mean you any harm.” That was probably not going to help his case at all, but Castiel was going to try. Here this person could be someone that Dean knew, but then that was all he was going on. Castiel had a hunch, but that was it.
“I... should be fine,” the angel replied, speaking of himself being alone, “If it helps, my name is Castiel.” That was it. He wasn't going to tell every freaking person he met that he was in fact an angel. Literally. Castiel made eye contact with this young woman. No, he wasn't going to read her mind. That wasn't proper etiquette here amongst people. Hopefully he could learn who this woman was and if she was of consequence to him. Nonetheless he was indeed concerned for her safety. He didn't want humans to suffer, so he would at least do his best to be good to them. Castiel was not like the vast majority of his other siblings.
With all of this trying to not get people to assume that he wasn't human, it was hard to do when the streetlights around him were flickering again. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Lisa Outfit: This is Cas, he never changes out of that trenchcoat Notes: He is just this akward lol. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lisa sighed, she wasn't one to judge people before meeting them, and here she was judging this man who stood before her. She was just so angry and upset and confused, it was bad. Dean had her all messed up at the moment, and Ben was going through a rough patch as well. Everything was just really hard for her right now. Taking a deep breath she looked at him with an apologetic look. "I'm Lisa" she smiled as she introduced herself. Lisa was a rather open person so meeting new people wasn't really hard for her, but when you add the night and a male who is larger than herself. She had her doubts about him but at the same time he did seem 'harmless' more or less.
The breezes sent chills down Lisa's back. It was getting late. "So you didn't answer my question." Lisa gave one of those parent looks at him, her eyebrow cocked up slightly as she crossed her arms. It was one of those habits that were hard not to do around other adults. Lisa was very good with those looks to. Lisa was normally rather talkative but with everything happening in her life it was difficult for her to actually communicate with other people.
"I'm sorry if I seem hostile, or rude. I'm not normally that way, its just been an odd couple weeks" Lisa tried to sound more positive, he was a stranger and she wasn't going to just tell him everything, but she didn't want him to think she was a rude person all the time because that isn't who she is. Lisa was one of the nicest people anyone could meet unless she had to put her foot down, but that was a rare occurrence for her. They say that a hero can save us (I'm not gonna stand here and wait) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - So this was Lisa. Castiel nodded as she introduced herself. He really was harmless, for the most part, and he would allow no harm to come to Lisa, she was important to Dean after all. He had a promise to keep and he was an angel of his word. “I'm just here for a walk, I suppose,” he said. Maybe that worked. Castiel was really here to check up on some people, and Lisa was among them. If he actually said that it would be awkward. The angel had nothing to fear here, there were few things that could really hurt him.
“These are dangerous times, I understand,” Castiel said, “Dean asked me to keep you and Ben safe.” Yeah that didn't sound creepy at all, he just didn't like beating around the bush. He didn't really know how Lisa was going to take that, but Castiel just had to go with it. He wasn't lying that's for sure. Maybe Dean had mentioned him? Then this won't be as awkward. He kind of understood why Lisa was being jumpy. This wasn't a safe town, then again, no where was safe.
Castiel did actually keep his guard up, he couldn't afford not to. He wasn't exactly the popular one in Heaven either. The seraph really would rather spend his time amongst people. He felt that Gabriel was right, that this was definitely something worth fighting for. If only his other siblings could understand that, they obviously didn't for the most part. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Lisa Outfit: This is Cas, he never changes out of that trenchcoat Notes: He is just this akward lol. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lisa looked at him. He knew Dean, or so he said he did anyways. If he really did than why hasn't Dean ever told her about him. Let her know that he would be having someone watch over them other than himself. These were things a mother needed to know, or was this some sort of trick. Lisa wasn't sure really what to believe. These were dangerous times and Dean had told her once before not to trust anyone she didn't already know. So how was she suppose to trust that his guy was really here to watch over her. Maybe he was an enemy of Deans. You just never know anymore. Lisa sighed a little.
"How do I know this isn't some sort of trick? Do you have proof that you know Dean and are 'friends' with him?" friends probably wasn't the right word to use but it was the only one that had come out. She did want proof before she could relax even a little around this man, and how did he know her sons name... Could he be telling the truth. Didn't really matter she would still want proof. She may have been strong enough to defend herself against humans but the supernatural was a whole other story, in a completely different book.
Lisa looked him over, he seemed so normal. Yet she got this feeling that he was the complete opposite of it. She didn't know much about this whole supernatural world so she was still naive about pretty much all of it. Lisa wouldn't be able to tell the difference but she could feel something. Not sure what it was though. Her face was calm as she waited for him to talk. He didn't talk much, which was a little different but than again maybe he wasn't one to really interact with others. Maybe he was shy which would be kind of funny since he is supposedly there to watch over her and Ben.

They say that a hero can save us (I'm not gonna stand here and wait) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "How do I know this isn't some sort of trick? Do you have proof that you know Dean and are 'friends' with him?" The angel didn't blame Lisa for being suspicious. However, Castiel had no reason to lie. The angel just tilted his head slightly, like a confused puppy. She needed proof that he was indeed Dean's friend? He did know where Dean was at this moment. Like a good angel he kept tabs on his human friend. So at this point Castiel did the only thing he could think of to do. “I will return momentarily,” Castiel said. He disappeared, only the flutter of wings announced his departure. Castiel actually didn't think of telling her that he was an angel.
Castiel figured that Dean would be either asleep or something of that nature. Without warning he had gone to fetch his friend, the angel felt it was necessary. He reappeared where he was speaking to Lisa, with a rather perturbed Dean at his side. “I'm sorry Dean, but this was somewhat necessary,” he said apologetically. This was Lisa, and he had put Enochian scripts on the Braeden's home, but perhaps there was more that he could to do help protect them. Though, Dean had complained numerous times that he didn't see Castiel as often as he would have liked. “I needed to prove that I'm a friend of yours, more or less,” Castiel said, gesturing at Lisa, “it was kind of inevitable that we would meet.” - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Lisa Outfit: This is Cas, he never changes out of that trenchcoat Notes: I'm so sorry this is so short, I lost muse mid post.BTW! - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean was dead tired after hunting all day, all he wanted to do now was rest and take it easy, so Dean waked in to his motel room and the first thing he did was set down his bag and coat. “It is so nice to just be somewhere other then a car” Dean couldn’t sleep another night in the Impala, his neck and back was killing him. He would rather be in bed sleeping with Lisa but this will have to do for now. Dean then walked over to the motel min fridge and got out a beer, he popped in open and took a big drink. “I have been wanting one of these all day, it is really hitting the spot’ Dean said how loud.
Dean then headed over to the bed to sit down and watch some T.V. as soon as he grabbed the remote and hit the power button, POOF! Dean was gone from his room, he looked over and there was Castiel looking at him. Dean didn’t know what was going on, but he hated it more then anything with Castiel did this shit. “Cass what the hell did I tell you about you zapping me places! And what the hell was so necessary that you had to do this?” Dean said to Castiel pissed off.
“Cass who did you need to prove to… Dean stopped in his sentence as he looked over and saw the love of his life Lisa. Then Dean stopped whatever he was doing and walk closer to Lisa and grabbed her hand. “Lisa what are you doing here baby, god I miss you. How are you and Ben, are you guys doing ok?” Finally Dean stopped to let her answer him.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- She watched with amazement as this man standing before her disappeared and than reappeared with Dean by his side. Dean of all people. That was defiantly proof enough for her. She was shocked. Lisa knew he was different, but not in this way. She wouldn't have guessed that he was part of the supernatural world. But it only made sense really, and not to mention demons and vampires a like looked just as humans did when in disguise. That was why Dean had told her to be careful who she and Ben befriended. Lisa smiled a little, she wasn't really sure what to do or say. Lisa was still new to the whole supernatural world and this kind of stuff took time to get use to, especially when you lived your entire life thinking these kinds of creatures were just in books or movies.
She watched as Dean had approached her, he was talking and asking questions. It almost looked like he wasn't breathing as he spoke. Taking in a deep breath she looked from Castiel to Dean. Just staring at Dean she opened her mouth to speak, but not much came out "Hi..." Those were the only words that seemed to form. This was going to be harder to get use to than Lisa had anticipated.
Shaking it off she attempted to speak once more. "Hi Dean. I was just out for a run, something I usually do when Ben is at a friends house. Ben and I are doing OK. He is struggling with school but that is about it." Lisa still couldn't believe that he was there standing before her very eyes. Last time she talked to him he was off somewhere on some mission like usual and she figured she wouldn't get to see him for a while but now in the middle of the night he was standing in front of her. Lisa lifted her hand and touched his face. A soft smile came to her lips "I miss you to Dean... A lot." Her heart skipped a beat and she leaned in and just hugged him. Her arms wrapped around him tightly, it was so good to see he was safe. A little mad at Castiel it seemed but still safe!
It was hard for her to watch as Dean came and went in their lives. She knew it was his job and he did it for them along with other of course. It was the right thing to do but it was still so hard for her. She could bet money it was hard for Dean to, she knew how much he cares for Ben and herself. Than again that could be what motivates him to do his job. She would never really know and well she wasn't sure she really wanted to ask. Talking about his job only happened every so often and even then it was never really a pleasant conversation because people die and get hurt and it just kept going. Lisa didn't want to think about that right now, she had Dean right here right now, that is all she really wanted to think about.

They say that a hero can save us
(I'm not gonna stand here and wait) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Of course Dean was definitely perturbed at Castiel for unceremoniously disturbing what rest the man could come across, but the angel wouldn't do something like that unless it was absolutely necessary. Though now he was seeing his mistake in a sense since now he was just in the middle here, and boy was it awkward. “I'm sorry Dean, but I figured this was the best way possible,” Castiel said, “I will take you back to that motel. When this conversation is at it's end.” He was an angel of course, doing something like that was really simple.
Castiel did think highly of Dean, after all he had learned so much about humanity from this person. He had also learned that freedom was always worth fighting for. Now this was really awkward. Here Castiel was, as the one to had run into Lisa Braeden proving that he was a friend of her lover's and now just on the sidelines of a very domestic type of conversation. The angel normally didn't mind this sort of thing, he just didn't know how to react, and the situation was a tad confusing to him. Of course, Lisa also didn't know what Castiel really was, an angel, of course the whole disappearing then reappearing thing was probably a dead giveaway. At this point he was either a demon or an angel, as cliched as the concept sounded.
It was almost disheartening that Dean had to come out of retirement to help with this whole mess in Mystic falls, and heaven forbid that the man would have to be dragged into the fray of Castiel's problems. If anything the angel sometimes felt like such a burden to his friend, and he couldn't ask for something that monumental. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Lisa, and Dean Outfit: This is Cas, he never changes out of that trenchcoat Notes: I'm so sorry this is so short, I lost muse mid post.BTW! - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean was so happy to see Lisa was safe and all right, he just want to hold her and never let go. Words could not express how much he had missed her, Dean loved her more then anything in this world. He kissed her sweetly on the lips before he gave her a hug and held her tight. It was like Heaven to Dean, it was the best thing that had happen to him in along time. Dean had really had a bad week hunting with barely any sleep or help at all, which was why he was steamed with Castiel a bit.
Dean did know one thing that he was happy about with Castiel, if he brought him her to see Lisa that could only mean one thing. He was doing what Dean had asked him to in keeping a close eye on her, which Dean was very thankful to him for. Dean was happy to know that Angels were keeping a close eye on Ben and Lisa while he was away, it made Dean feel a whole lot safer about being away. Dean could tell that Lisa had missed him, Dean then looked Lisa in the eyes and said to her, “I happy to know that you and Ben are ok. Man I miss you to baby, you have no idea how much I wish I could just come home to you." Dean held her tighter.
Dean then turned to Castiel to patted him on the shoulder and said, “Thanks so much Cass for keeping an eye on them for me, you don’t know how much this means to me, knowing that they are safe.” It did really mean a lot to Dean, he knew now that even though Castiel was busy, he still was finding time to help him. Dean then asked them both, “So Lisa what you think of Cass, he is a really good friend of mine. What were you guys talking about anyway?” Word Count- 293 Tagged- Lisa and Castiel Outfit- Note- Sorry it is short but i want to hurry up and post in it - - - - - - - - -

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lisa smiled at him and kissed him back. She had missed Dean so much since he had left for another hunting job. He worked all the time with hardly any breaks, ok really no breaks since evil never stopped he never stopped. Lisa could tell it was taking a toll on him, Dean looked so exhausted right now. He probably hasn't gotten much sleep over the time he had been gone. At least that was Lisa's guess. It didn't matter right now he was here standing before her and she could at least see him for a little bit which was better than not seeing him at all.
"Yeah we are all good. I wish you could to Dean that way Ben could tell you his own good news!" She smiled at him again. Ben was doing so good in school all A's, he was even thinking about joining a sport for the year. Lisa was really proud of him and she wished that Ben could tell Dean but he was busy which both Lisa and Ben understood at the moment. She looked over to Castiel and saw him just standing there, he looked as if he wasn't really sure what to do while Dean and Lisa were reuniting. It made her laugh a little, he was such an awkward fella you couldn't help but find it a little cute.
Lisa looked back over to Dean who had asked her what Castiel and herself had been talking about before he had arrived. They hadn't really talked too much. "Not a lot really, he asked why I was out here and that it was dangerous so I asked him the same question. Than we got on to topic of you and that you two were friends so of course I wanted proof. You always tell me to be careful so I was, and now you are here." Lisa had shortened their whole conversation into just a couple of lines.
Lisa intertwined her fingers with Deans that way they were holding hands. She really didn't want to let him go but she knew she would have to soon enough. Looking over to Castiel once again, he seemed like a good guy a bit different but that was to be expected since he was an Angel. Lisa had finally decided what he was. An Angel fit best and well made more sense than anything else really so that was what he had to be, unless there was some sort of demon that could do the same thing. Not knowing much about this new world Lisa thought it would be best if she just stuck with the stuff she knew. "He seems like a good guy." Lisa smiled at Castiel.
