- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She looked in the mirror at the outfit she was wearing. Her and Willow had gone to several stores around town in the past few days but surprisingly they hadn’t gone into the music and cd store. Dawn had recommended it with a goofy look on her face but she didn’t question it. She had given up trying to tell her sister what to do. As long as she wasn’t running around with vampires (She knew she sounded like a hypocrite but oh well) or she wasn’t doing something that could get her hurt, she would let her make her own mistakes and make her own decisions.
She checked herself out once more. The jeans she had on were a favorite of hers, distressed, comfortable, and yet still stylish. She had brought them from Rome and actually had two pairs of them back in Rome, they were that comfortable. Her shirt was a brand new one she had picked up right before leaving Rome but hadn’t had a chance to wear it. It was white, with a black sash around it and fluttered sleeves. Her shoes weren’t anything special, a pair of black patent leather, open toed sling backs that she bought a few days prior when she had gone to the mall in Mid Rivers. A stake was tucked into her Coach purse that was downstairs so she didn’t need to worry about that.
Her cross came next. It was the one she had secretly kept with her at all times no matter where she went. She didn’t always wear it, but it was her good luck charm of sorts. There were times she tucked it into her pocket, times she tucked it into her shoe, hell there had been a few times it had been tucked into her tank top. She kept it near her at all times to feel safe. She mourned momentarily for the loss of her beloved claddagh ring. She hadn’t had it long and hadn’t had it near her even longer but every time she looked at her finger she mourned its loss. She had tried several different rings, never having bought another one to replace it, but none of them looked the same. She knew realistically she could buy a new one, hell Scott Hope had tried to give her an almost identical one to signal ‘friendship’…and yet she didn’t. The one she had been given on her seventeenth birthday meant something…if she would go buy another one to replace it then it wouldn’t mean anything.
Replacement…seemed like a good word for what she had done with her life since he had left her. Replacing the ring felt like she was replacing him. She knew it was insane to think that was as technically she hadn’t been the one to walk away, but it was still the way that she felt. She knew if she would ask him about it he would tell her she was crazy, but eh, she was the slayer, it came with the territory.
She shook her head, perching her sunglasses on top of her head. Her last item she put on was a bracelet was a red rope bracelet with the word ‘protect’ on it. She had bought it in an Irish store a long time ago, along with half of her other jewelry. No one knew that she frequented Irish stores, though she did. It made her feel closer to him somehow. While in Rome she had thought numerous times about heading over to Ireland to see where he came from, but she hadn’t done it yet. She had hoped back when she was younger that maybe one day he would take her there himself and tell her about what it was like back in his time…but she had given up that dream a long time ago.
She shook her head, bringing herself out of her thoughts. Angel and Kathy were both downstairs asleep (He still hadn’t found a suitable place to rent which was actually fine by her…she wanted them both to stay with her) so she crept downstairs to the first floor, being as quiet as possible so her footsteps wouldn’t wake the vampires up, and headed out the door. It was a nice day and the book store was only a ten minute walk or so.
Once arrived she waited outside, having told Willow she’d meet her there before heading inside.

Tara never really bought anything for herself nowadays. It was normally just food, the necessary clothing, and her rent. Of course, this sucked up most of the meager paycheck that she received through the temp agency, so she always had to save up if she was going to buy anything not absolutely necessary. She had a credit at one of the local magic shops, which she paid off little by little weekly, and the owner was a really nice guy, so he didn’t pester her very much.
There wasn’t much to her life nowadays. Working, eating, cleaning, studying spells, sleeping, rinse and repeat daily. Sure, she had a lot on her mind, well really, she had one thing on her mind. It preoccupied most of her waking hours even if she was trying to relax, but she sometimes found the memories relaxing unto themselves. “Willow” . The object of her mind’s focus at nearly all times. Not her death, her resurrection, or her purpose in her new life (though that wasn’t clear whatsoever. Tara just couldn’t figure out how she could be so important that the Goddess or some higher power would bring her back.), but her only love.
Most of her CD’s had been so overplayed that she could pretty much listen to them without playing them. She loved the bands and artists, but there is only so many times that one can listen to a set of songs before going absolutely crazy. This wasn’t the first time since she got back that the word crazy had come to mind. At first, she wasn’t even sure if other people could see her, if she had been called back to earth to live (well that’s the wrong word) as a ghost or entity. Of course, she knew this couldn’t be right because she didn’t really want to exact vengeance on anyone, mostly because she wouldn’t have had the heart too, though Warren Mears might have been an exception because of the pain he had caused Willow.
She had gotten paid just yesterday, so she had used most of her money to pay her landlord (who seemed quite disgruntled because she was technically a month late on her rent because she had gotten sick and hadn’t worked for a week) and buy some food. Instead of squirreling away her money as usual she decided that she would go down to the Music and CD shop and buy a couple new CD’s. She knew it probably wasn’t the best plan ever, but she had to do something for herself every once and a while so she did it anyways.
It was relatively busy around the store today, or so it seemed. Tara usually avoided really busy or public places because she was worried about running into some of her less… enjoyable family members, but that’s in LA, and here in Mystic Falls, she didn’t quiet have to worry about that. She wasn’t here for an extended stay, but she did have a room rented out in a cheap little motel for a week. Apparently, the man she was trying to buy an ingredient for a spell off of was against mailing it to her, so she had to come to retrieve it herself. At least it allowed her for a little vacation away from the craziness of Los Angeles for a while.
Tara gently brushed past a few people window shopping, and glimpsed a strangely familiar blonde head for a moment. Her heart skipped a couple of beats, but she cast the idea aside, thinking she was seeing things for a moments. “I mean, come on Tara. Buffy? Here in Mystic Falls Virginia? What are you thinking?” She mentally chastised herself for letting her mind wander to such wild fantasies. She had done this a few times in LA, thinking she’s seen Warren, Xander, Giles, Anya, but of course, never once was she right. Luckily, her mind seemed to repressed itself and she never thought that she had seen Willow, because of the pain that it would cause her.
The air changed when she stepped inside the shop, and she could smell the new CD packaging. She wandered around the low aisles for a little bit, spending more time in areas like the classical, jazz and soft rock, instead of rap/hiphop and pop. Those just couldn’t relax a person and music was great for that. She picked up a few CD’s and checked the prices, holding onto them but still browsing. They were playing some new one hit wonder on the speakers above her head, but she didn’t pay much attention to it. Most of it was just sound, and people trying to make graphic descriptions of sex sound like art. Tara shuffled the CD’s in her hand, trying to decide which two of the three she was going to buy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow was looking threw her closet trying to find something to wear, and of course as always she could not find anything thing to wear. Willow was throwing top, dresses and other things out of her closet mad at the world. “No not that! Or that! I don’t like that either!” Willow said in anger. Then Willow came across a top that she has not worn since she had bought it, it was a really nice top almost to nice for just going to the cd store. But for some reason something was telling her to wear it. “I think I’m going to wear this, I don’t care if I look to nice, it is cute and I like it!” Willow said with a smile to herself. Willow then walked over to her dresser and finished it off by putting on some of her cute jewelry that she had, She put on a long necklace, a ring and a black bracelet with a heart charm. Willow then walked over to the full length mirror to look at herself, “ I look so nifty, I love it, but something is missing? Oh I know!” Willow then walked back over to her closet and got out a cute pair of Pink high heels that Willow loved, Buffy had gotten them for her on her birthday last year and Willow adored them. Willow was really much for pink ether but with these she mad exception, Buffy always got her they cute stuff. Willow was ready has she headed out of her room, she didn’t know what this day was going to bring for her but for some reason she had a good feeling that something good was going to happen for her. Willow didn’t know what but she knew it was something good, Willow had made to Buffy and said “Ok Buffy lets go, you ready!” Willow was excited she loved going to the book store, almost as much as she liked going to the magic store. When they made it there Buffy told Willow to head in first, “ok Buff I will meet ya in there, don’t take to long now, I don’t want to have to much fun with out you” Willow said to Buffy has she headed in. She looked around the books store amazed at how big it was with all the Cds and book, wondering what to go look at first. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Her head was so full of thoughts on the past that she barely realized Willow was there. Her memories were creeping up on her…though she wasn’t sure why. She was home sick for Sunnydale, which was insanity in the making in her opinion. She had used to dream about leaving the Hellmouth…hell she had started wishing to be away from there before she had even arrived…so why she was missing it now she wasn’t sure. She had a feeling it was all of the change that had been involved in the actual move. The change from Los Angeles to Sunnydale had been hard but not impossible because even though her world had been changed, she was still only 2 hours away from what she really knew.
The move from Sunnydale to Rome had been a nightmare. For one thing none of them owned anything any longer. The only things that any of them owned were what were in backpacks on the school bus they had been using. She remembered she cried when she saw that Dawn had packed hers. She hadn’t even thought about it. When everyone started opening up their backpacks in San Diego (They had driven there in order to catch a plane to England to deal with Council stuff) she had momentarily frozen. She hadn’t packed one, hadn’t even thought about it. It hit her like a freight train that everything that she cherished possession wise was gone. Tears filled her eyes until her sister came over and handed her a large back pack. I knew you were busy trying to make sure we all lived, so I went through your stuff and got what was most important to you. If I forgot anything I’m sorry. She had told her and the blonde slayer had simply thrown her arms around her little sister and thanked her, trying desperately not to cry.
When she had opened the bag she had noticed immediately that her sister knew her a lot better than she sometimes gave her credit for. Inside was Mr. Gordo, per precious pig stuffed animal that she had gotten from her father when she was 3. Her diaries, which she was grateful for, though she didn’t think anyone would understand. The framed picture of her and Angel at prom. Angel’s old leather jacket. Her Class Protector umbrella. Upon continuing her observation she immediately had the suspicion that Willow had used some sort of magic to make it bigger on the inside because the sheer amount of stuff her sister had packed shouldn’t had all fit in the bag she was holding. She continued looking and almost sobbed with relief. There were a ton of pictures. Pictures of her and Dawn, pictures of her and the gang, pictures of her and her mother, and then the three Summers women, and pictures of her and Angel. She noted with a smirk that she hadn’t included any pictures of her and Riley, and though she felt guilty she also felt relief that she wouldn’t have to pretend any longer.
Luckily her cross was where it always was which was around her neck so she didn’t have to look for that, though she knew her sister would have packed it if it hadn’t been. She found Mr. Pointy, Kendra’s old stake that she still had, packed away safely. The bottom of the bag was lined up with something pink and silky. She couldn’t figure out what it was until she saw more of it and her eyes watered as she looked at her sister in shock. I knew you would want to keep it, if only for the memories it gave you. she had told her before continuing going through her own bags. It was her prom dress…the last dance she had ever had with her lover.
Her thoughts were broken when she heard Willow’s parting comment and shook her head. “Wait! I’m coming too!” She called out, probably a bit too loudly but oh well. She walked in and headed towards Willow, though not watching where she was going she ran into someone right near where Willow was standing. “Oh my god I’m so sorry.” She stated, though didn’t look to see who she ran into before she apologized.
Tara knew she should be a little more aware of her surroundings. She had always known that, but she just seemed to get wrapped up in the task at hand (in this case picking out her CD’s) that she honed on the task and the outside world got a little lost. Ever since she was little, her father was always chastising her for being so “reckless” because she tended to walk into things and bruise herself or stumble into people in supermarkets because she was too busy reading the ingredients on something. Nothing bothered her father more than a disobedient daughter.
It wasn’t like Tara had a huge “daddy” complex or whatever someone might call it, but she did avoid her family at all costs and hated her father for what she had tried to convince her of those years ago. She almost lost Willow, and the rest of the gang because of it, but instead it seemed to bring her closer to them. They became her family, and Willow her only love supported her through that horrible confrontation. It was the first time that she honestly felt that she wasn’t just observing on the sidelines anymore, but that she was a part of something much bigger than before.
This all made her miss them more. The thinking about that night when they all protected and defended her brought tears to her eyes almost every time she thought about it. Now, that she had died and was back, she had no clue where they were really. All she really wanted was to see Willow again to be truthful, but it would be amazing to get to see everyone once again. Imagining just being with them again, talking, eating, joking, and even studying demons with them made her fill with a pit of hope, but also weariness, because that was a broken record that just repeated over and over again in her dreams (well when she wasn’t having nightmares about Willow becoming consumed with evil magicks again or being shot).
There was an odd sensation coursing through her that she couldn’t quite pinpoint as she shuffled through CD’s. It was kind of electricity, like something nearby had a great source of power within it. This made the hair on the back of her arms and neck stand up. A curiosity grew within her and she felt oddly compelled to find the source of the feeling. “How strange…” She thought to herself as she put one of the CD’s back on its rack. “It’s like I want to find it, but I’m afraid of it at the same time. Like it really needs to be watched over.” She shook her head, trying to cast out the strange thoughts. “This is stupid, just buy the CD’s and go back to the hotel. Either that or continue going absolutely crazy.”
She went to turn and head for the cashier, but she was forced to come to an abrupt halt as someone walked into her head on. Her CD’s dropped onto the floor as she leaned against the aisle of CD’s to catch her balance. “OH.” She exclaimed in surprise. She scurried to pick them up off the floor as the manager called over to them instructing them with the cliché “If you break it, you buy it.” “I-Im sorry.” She stuttered, trying to straighten herself out as she got up. When she looked at the woman who had walked into her, Tara simply froze. Her mind went absolutely haywire and she couldn’t speak a single syllable for the life of her. “Buffy.” She thought to herself, rolling the name over and over again in her head in the space of a millisecond. She was there, right in front of her, breathing and alive. And where Buffy was…
There was a familiar scent in the air, and Tara looked over Buffy’s shoulder and her heart completely stopped. Tara’s legs grew weak as she sighted the red hair of the only person she had truly ever loved fully. She took a step back, leaning against the rack once again. She was here, in front of her. Tara had had dreams about this instant since she had been resurrected, but she always woke up. Heck, maybe she would now, but it was so real, so vivid that Tara appreciated the dream.
It was very difficult for her to take enough of a breath to start to speak, but she mustered some oxygen and spoke in stutters, “W-wwillow. B-Buffy.” Her heart went from its frozen state to beating wildly, feeling as if it would burst straight out of her chest if it kept going on at that rate. She was here. Her love. Her life. Both of her lives.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow was just looking around the store a bit wondering what was taking Buffy so long, she had just gotten done looking at some of there magic books that they had. Which were dumb they were not ever really magic books at all, they were books made by people who think they know what magic is. Dumb books for kids to play with, you could tell it wasn’t made by a wiccans really at all. “I’m so done with these books! I think I will go look at some Cd’s that they have” Willow said to herself as she made her way over to the Cds. Willow had made to the Cd section of the store still wanting to know were the heck Buffy was, Willow wasn’t going to go bug Buffy she could tell something was up with her, so maybe she needed some time alone. Buffy had seemed kind of down lately, but as always Willow all ready knew what it had to be, Angel trouble as ways. Willow tried not to get involved in it in less Buffy needed her, then Willow was there for her. But the whole Buffy and Angel thing was way to complicated for Willow to understand, so she just left it alone. All Willow knew was she could see them together forever and ever. As Willow was looking at cds and she came across a Bif Naked cd, looking at that cd made her think of the time Buffy and her saw them play at that party. Buffy was kind of with that jerk Parker at the time, Ewww, Willow thought to herself. Willow hated that guy so much, she should have turned him in to something when she had the chance. Then Willow finally saw Buffy heading over as she accidentally ran in to someone, so Willow made her way over there to see if everything was ok. When Willow got over there, she could see the person Buffy bumped in to a little better, and when Willow saw them she could not Believe what she was seeing. “Tara? But I saw you die, how? Tara is it really you? Oh my god!” Willow said as she was slowly walking toward her. Willow still didn’t know if she could really believe that it was Tara or not, Willow was standing there frozen, crying. “Buffy please tell me you are seeing what I’m seeing” Willow said to Buffy with so much emotion in her voice hoping this was not a dream. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -You would think being the slayer she would be used to walking upright and not knocking people over. She rolled her eyes at herself. God she was a spaz today. First the memories of her past consuming her to the point of not knowing that she had been hit on twice on the way to the book and cd store, and then not hearing her best friend calling her name? Yeah, it was time to get some professional help. She could see it now, asking a therapist to sign a legally binding document (written by Giles of course) asking not to spill her secret when she informed him of everything that she had gone through in the last few years.
Yep, trip to loony bin for one, named Buffy Summers.
She winced again, and leaned down, helping the girl she had knocked into pick up her things. “I am so sorry.” She told her apologetically. “I’m apparently the worlds worst spaz today…which is ironic since my balance is usually…” She started, but trailed off when the girl stood up and she realized who it was. Her eyes widened. Again, you’d think being the slayer she would be used to things happening that are unexplainable and just downright insane, but her mouth dropped, her eyes widened even more, and she prayed no one was looking their way. “Tara” She whispered, though she knew no one except those with supernatural hearing would be able to hear the word as it was barely audible with how low she had spoken.
She heard Willow’s exclamation and looked over to her best friend who had tears running down her face. She nodded her head, her eyes falling back to Tara. “I’m seeing what you’re seeing…so if we’re dreaming we’re sharing a dream. I don’t think we’ve ever shared dreams…I know Angel and I have but that’s different.” She mumbled, babbling on. She shook her head, realizing she was the slayer damnit, the leader; she had to set an example. “Tara?” she asked again, this time in a semi normal voice. “How are you? Why are you? Huh?” She continued, not knowing exactly what to ask. She almost asked Willow if she had done more magic but stopped herself, knowing she wouldn’t be as surprised as she was if she had.
Buffy laughed at herself, a bit hysterically. “Well, I guess now you can join our club. We don’t have an official name since Angel stated that the name I wanted to use wouldn’t fit on the back of a tshirt. Don't you think a good name for the club would be 'we are used to people not being dead when they say they are so get off our backs and until we see the coroner reports we won’t believe it’ club. I do! But then Angel commented that it wouldn't fit on the back of a t-shirt. Even the acronym would be really really long. 'WAUTPNBDWTSTARSGOOBAUWSTCRWWBIC' Is a mouthful. And oh my god I'm shutting up now and letting you talk. Go ahead. I promise I'll be quiet." She stated, putting her hand over her mouth to keep her rambles in for the moment.

Tara pushed herself off of the rack of CD’s so she could stand up straight. She couldn’t keep her eyes off of Willow, even when Buffy was speaking. It wasn’t that she wasn’t excited to see Buffy, or listen, it was just… Willow. Willow was there in front of her and wondering if she was real. The same kind of thoughts were flashing through Tara’s mind as she cried when she saw that Willow was tearful as well. “Woah. Wow. Oh Goddess. Is this real?” she thought in fragments as she searched for something to say to Willow and Buffy. “Willow, oh Goddess, it’s Willow.” Her mind broke out on another overwhelming tangent instead of formulating words or actions for her to perform.
It took about a millisecond for her to step in front of Willow and rest her hand on her cheek, while taking Willow’s hand and placing it on her own. “T-this is r-real?” She sort of asked a question while stating her own belief. Without looking away from Willow she tried her best to address Buffy’s questions, but she was still having difficulty speaking clearly. It must have been something like shock she was feeling. When she had gotten shot, she hadn’t been alive long enough to go into shock, but thought this is probably what it felt like.
“I d-don’t k-know. H-how I’m bback. Something sstrong resurrected me. I d-don’t know wwhy.” Tears continued to stream down her face as she gave the useless answers to Buffy’s questions. The strange thing that she had noticed was that the strange electric feeling that she had been experiencing earlier had only strengthened when she moved closer to Willow. It was like she was the source, and Tara felt the strongest urge to protect her and keep her safe. This wasn’t much of a change, but now it felt animalistic, like a conscious drive.
Her thumb slid over Willow’s cheek gently, wiping away the tears. It was very comforting to feel her again. She was tangible, not something of one of her dreams and by now in her dreams she had normally woken up, died again, or Willow had left. She barely registered Buffy’s little rant about the club for people who never remain dead and she nodded in agreement. With what was kind of unclear to her, but Buffy could take it anyways she wanted.
Her pounding heart had seemingly reached its highest point, but had to come down to a more relaxed state because it would have given her a heart attack if left unchecked. At least that’s what it felt like. It still pounded more above average, but she felt a little less soaked in adrenaline. “This is real. It has to be.” She stated more firmly this time, to both Willow and Buffy. The tears started up again as she continued to look at Willow. “Baby this just has to be real. I’m back. You’re here. Both of you.” She looked to Buffy for a moment and then returned her gaze to Willow. It was invigorating and exhausting at the same time somehow, but all she really felt was joy.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She simply watched the scene unfold, her eyes wide and she probably looked like a fish out of water. She knew they were most likely making a scene but if anyone interrupted them she’d let them meet Mr. Pointy, human or not. Okay, so maybe not Mr. Pointy, but they would meet an earful and possibly a fist. She watched as Tara caressed Willow’s face and she watched the way that Willow’s eyes shined. She immediately felt like an intruder but for a moment couldn’t pull herself away. She watched the scene in front of her play out and was thankful that the blonde witch was back. Granted, she had no idea why she was back and for a moment she was concerned that it was a trick, but then she saw that Willow hand was touching the other woman and she sighed in relief.
It only took one look in Tara’s eyes to know that this was no trick…that somehow she had been brought back, though she had no idea how. She glared at a man whose eyes had widened at the obvious show of love and affection between the two women. Her eyes made it clear that interrupting the two was not an option.
She looked back at her two currently reuniting friends and realized she was just as bad as those staring around her. This had nothing to do with her and she knew that. She walked over, squeezed both of their shoulders. “I’ll be outside if you need me.” She whispered to Willow before turning to Tara. “I’m glad your back.” She whispered to her, not wanting to interrupt their moment. She gave each of their shoulders another squeeze before walking out of the Book and CD store and heading for the coffee house next door.
Once inside she ordered a Mocha and sat at one of the more comfortable chairs in a corner of the place. Her mind raced with ideas and before she knew what she was doing she pulled out her cell phone and dialed Giles’ personal number. When it went straight to voicemail she sighed and hung up, not bothering to leave one. She then dialed the main number to the council and the phone was immediately picked up by a woman she didn’t recognize the voice of. Hello, May I help you? It had been standard knowledge when re-opening the Watcher’s Council and opening the Slayer School that neither phone would be answered with the title of the business. Well, the Slayer School was but it was answered by it’s boarding school name which was Sunnydale Academy (Yes, they really had no imagination sometimes). “Yes, can I speak to Rupert Giles?” She asked and waited for a reply. I’m sorry he’s in meetings all day, can I take a message to him? Was the reply and she groaned. “Sure just tell him that Buffy Summers is trying to reach him.” She told the woman. Oh Ms. Summers! I’m so sorry I didn’t know it was you. I’ll get him right away. She heard the woman fluster. She rolled her eyes. It was common knowledge that most of the people in the Watcher’s Council (the newer ones) were a bit intimidated by her because of the stores they heard. She always tried to put them to rest but some she couldn’t handle. “No no, it’s alright. Just let him know I called. Thanks.” She stated before hanging up the phone and sighing.
Her attention turned back to her friends in the book store and she hoped they had a better future planned out for them than anyone else seemed too.
They deserved it after all.

Tara didn’t really register the man staring at them at all. It wasn’t unusual; two women that showed affection for each other in a public place usually garnered the attention of someone of the male persuasion or six. If she hadn’t been so preoccupied with Willow, or it had been in the time before she had died, there would have been a furtive glance throw his was until he was forced to look away. It’s not that she really cared, but she abhorred rudeness of any kind and that kind of piggishness was certainly rude. There was nothing about loving another woman that should make another person think it’s okay to stare and gawk like it is a spectacle of some sort.
Tara had no idea how much Willow had moved on. For all she knew, Willow could have some sort of girlfriend or… a wife (She supposed it would be kind of young for that, but plenty of people got married young still). This made Tara extremely hesitant to move any closer to her, as she would have when she had been alive. Whenever she thought of Willow being with another woman she got queasy. It would hurt her to see Willow with someone else, but she knew she had to understand. She had died after all, and she had wanted Willow to be okay.
She felt extremely relieved when Willow threw herself into a hug. Tara cried silently as she sobbed into her shoulder, but it wasn’t unhappy tears. She squeezed the hug closer, not ever wanting to let go of Willow. Memories flooded back to her, hugs, kisses, touches, smells, words, laughs- everything that had made her happy before she died. Nothing could take her away from Willow now. She was determine to stay by her side now, and that made something else in her mind and click, like something told her that was supposed to do. Not like the direction that her heart was telling her, but something else, something not very tangible, lying on the outer reaches of her mind and conscious.
Tara felt Buffy squeeze her shoulder and tell them that she was going outside. She felt bad, like how she was behaving was pushing Buffy away as almost a third wheel. She tried calling to her as she left, looking over Willow’s shoulder, “Buffy! You don-“, but she was too late and the slayer had already headed out the door. Her gaze returned to Willow. She said it was real too, but the part about if it wasn’t killing her had made Tara wince.
“Baby, I’m happy to be here. You don’t even know. Well, you might. I hope.” She smiled at Willow, loosening her hold only slightly so she could look at her beautiful face. She frown for a minute, tearing up again, “I’m sorry it was so horrible for you when I… left. I never wanted any of you to hurt that badly.” She stood quietly holding on to Willow still. She whispered, still shocked, “I love you.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow didn’t know really what to say without over whelming Tara, there were so many things Willow wanted to know and ask her. How had she been doing? What had she been up too? And most of all the one question she wanted to know more then anything, was there someone else in Tara’s life right now. Willow hoped very dearly that there wasn’t, Willow didn’t know if she would be able to deal with it at all. It would kill Willow to have to hear that, but Willow is going to stay positive little Will and say that Tara only has eyes for her. If Tara did have someone though, she still was going to love her and be there no matter what. Willow wonder what everyone in this place was thinking right now, seeing them crying, holding each other, throwing kisses back and forth to one another. But Willow didn’t care this had to be one of the best days of her life, and she was going to cherish it as long as she could. Willow then heard Buffy telling them she was heading outside, then Willow felt really bad. She knew how Buffy had been dealing with Angel troubles lately, so the last thing she wanted or needed to see was coupes in love. But Willow knew that wasn’t why Buffy was leaving them, she knew Buffy was just giving them time alone together, which Willow loved Buffy for. Buffy has always been such a great friend to Willow, always there and looking out for others, other then herself. Yeah Buffy really was the best of friend a witch could have. “ Tara I’m so happy that you are here, you don’t even know how much of a mess I was. I mean I went crazy for real no joke, you know how I quite doing magic, well I like lost it and the magic took over me and I went all dark stuff. It was scary you have had to have been there, all thought I don’t think I would have happened if you were. I need to shut up don’t I, I mean I’m rambling aren’t I?” Willow was just so happy to see Tara everything was just spiting on all at once. Willow then could see Tara starting to tear up again, it was making Willow want to cry again too. Willow then told her “baby it is not your fault, it was that stupid Warren that took you from me” Willow then held her tighter. “I love you too baby and this time I Will make sure no one hurts you ever again”Word Count- 440 Tagged- Buffy and my sweet Tara Outfit- Click to see Willow's cute outfit Note- Oh my god I think I'm going to cry I just love Tara so much ~~~~~~~~~~~
The time immediately after she had died had caused her so much pain. It wasn’t quite uncomfortable switching over to what she had assumed was the afterlife, so she was able to watch over Willow’s pained rampage. Every moment that Tara couldn’t see or talk or touch Willow and tell her that everything was okay, and that she was fine, and that she loved her so much. She had assumed after death she would not have to feel or experience such pain, terror and destructiveness, but her love for Willow made her pain to save her dearest. Tara kind of equated it to when her brother watched college football, and would scream and wave at his team’s players, but they couldn’t hear or see him and it would make him horrifyingly angry. It was not as severe of a feeling in that case, but it was a good kind of dumbed down example to use.
She was really glad to know that Willow was still with the gang and nothing had really driven them all apart from one another. At least nothing happened that had left her all alone and Tara wouldn’t have been able to do anything about it. She would have torn herself apart if Willow had ever been alone in her life, but she knew deep down that Buffy and Xander would always be there for her, despite any rockiness they experienced together. They always stuck back together in the end. And she loved the group even more because of it.
It had been bothering her for quite some time if she should tell Willow that she knew about everything that had happened after she had died. It had been something that she wondered about after her resurrection, but she had never really thought that she would ever get the chance to see Willow to talk to her about what had happened. It hit her that Willow was a big girl and deserved the truth. She didn’t want to start any sort of reunion with a total lie. She wasn’t good at keeping secrets from Willow or really anyone in extension. They never really ended up working out for her.
“Willow, baby, I know what happened.” It was hard for her to say it because of how horrible it had been. “It’s fine love and you’re not rambling hun.” She brushed a couple of locks out of Willow’s face. She took a second of hesitation before gently pressing her lips against Willow’s, tentatively and softly, feeling like she almost had to test the waters all over again with her. She blinked slowly as she watched Willow for her reaction.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It still killed Willow everyday when she thought about it, the day she lost her, having to see her shot and being taking out by warren. Willow still to this day relives that in her mind over and over and over again, it hurts every times she thinks about it. Having to see her taking right before Willow’s very eyes out of no were, holding her in her arms, feeling how lifeless she had felt, having to have Tara’s blood on her. It was the worst moment in Willow entire life, and she wished everyday she could go back in time and stop that bullet. The Bullet that not only killed Tara but also hurt Willow’s best friend and almost killed her too. The Bullet that ruined Willow life, Out of the mist of all that Willow did make sure of one thing, she took care of Warren so he could never coming back ever again. But if Tara was here who know who else could come back, the though of that sacred Willow to death. But she was sure of one thing, Willow will be ready this time, she is more powerful now then she ever was before. She is ready for anything that Will come her way, and No one will hurt her girl this time, no one. “it’s good to know that I’m not rambling, I missed you so much there so much I want to tell you that has happed. I can tell you this though things have not been the Same with out you baby. I‘m so happy to have you back, this is like a dream come true.” Willow then leaned in to kiss Tara and it felt great, something Willow though she would never have again. Getting to feel Tara’s sweet lips on hers, feeling her presence with her, and getting to hold her after all this time. Willow hope and prayed it would never end. Tara was going to try her best to forget what had happened after she died. Willow had almost ended everything because she had been in so much pain, but from here on out, Tara decided that they were starting anew, well if that’s what Willow wanted. A clean slate of sorts with her trying to only remember the nice things that they had shared together before she had been murdered. There was just something she knew that couldn’t be erased.
The door to the supply closet of the store slammed loudly and Tara nearly jumped out of her skin. That was one thing that probably wasn’t about to go away anytime soon. Any loud noises that sound vaguely like the shot of a gun make her heart falter for a moment and an instantaneous fight-or-flight reaction. She hated it, but it was much worse living in Los Angeles. All the cars and city noises regularly made her jump like she was being murdered again.
She took another deep breath and calmed herself. There was no need for that. When Willow leaned back in and kissed her back, it felt like the whole world stopped moving for a moment. All of her fears and worries about Willow having moved on romantically from her were seemingly erased in a matter of seconds. It was strange that in one moment, in one action, that something so small could change someone’s entire take on a situation.
Tara usually prided herself on being able to not get carried away and being discrete, especially in social situations. Willow’s kiss must have overridden her usually tame senses. Without saying anything more, she slid her hand up Willow’s back and tangled her fingers in her red hair, her CD’s dropping to the floor. She kissed her again, but not quite as gently. She had waited so long to find Willow again, and she never wanted to spend a moment apart. They had a lifetime again, a lifetime full of love and care and… battling evil things she supposed. And all of that mattered so much, but Tara couldn’t think of anything else but Willow as her lips moved against hers, locked in a passionate embrace.
It took her a little while to realize how obscene she was being. The manager was clearing his throat over by the registers and the man was staring blindly again and without abandon. Tara blushed, and pulled her head away from Willow’s. “I think we’re causing a scene.” She laughed quietly, but was still entirely flushed. “But I don’t really care. I’m so happy to have you back. I didn’t know… I didn’t know if you… had, you know, found someone else.” She whispered, feeling kind of ashamed. “There is so much we need to talk about baby, like how you have been and you need to catch me up on so much.” She smiled, excited that she now had all this time to talk to Willow and spend time with her.
