~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow hoped now that she had her girl back, that maybe the nightmares that hunt her would now go away for good. She was so happy to have Tara her with here, it still almost didn’t seem real and it felt way to good to be true. Willow couldn’t remember the last time she felt this happy, the last time she ever recalls feeling this way was the last time she had Tara in her arms. On the night that they spent it in bed all night together, when they just got back together from being split. Willow held Tara all night till they had falling asleep in each others arms, then just to wake up and have it all taken way. So that night was the last night Willow remembers being truly happy, but now that Tara was her before her, she was more happy then she ever could be. Willow was standing there with Tara when all the sudden, there was a big bang noise. It was someone opening a closet door, Willow could tell that it had scared Tara a bit. Willow then told her in a calm voice “It ok baby it just a loud door” Willow could tell she was till a bit sacred with everything that had happened to her in the past. “Don’t worry baby I’m here and no one will every hurt you or take you from me ever again." Willow grabbed Tara after telling her that and begin to hold her tight not letting go, letting her know that she was safe. Willow felt Tara’s hand slide up her back as they were kissing, it felt great having Tara’s lips on her, smelling how good she smelled, feeling how her body moved with Willow has she held her, and hearing her make the small whimper she makes when ever they kiss. It was all like heaven and Willow never wanted it to end, Willow had on hand on Tara’s sweet face, while the other hand was running threw her hair. Willow loved Tara soft hair, how it moved when she walked, how sweet it smelled, how it felt when she played with it, but most of all how beautiful it made her look. Tara was just prefect in every way possible to, Willow wouldn’t change she for the world. Then Willow heard the manger of the store clear his throat, “that guy is making me mad, I’m about to turn him in to something if he don’t shut up” Willow said to Tara with a giggle. Tara then asked Willow if they was anyone else in her life right now “yeah there is, and she is really great girl” Willow waited to see Tara’s reaction before telling her “and that girl is you baby” Willow then gave Tara a big smile. Willow then agreed with Tara that they need to talk a bit more “ Yeah we do need to catch up what you say we go get some coffee and talk, want to?” Word Count- 503 Tagged- Buffy and my sweet Tara Outfit- Click to see Willow's cute outfit Note- God they are so sweet. ~~~~~~~~~~~
They could have all the time in the world now that she had been returned to life by some higher power. Tara wanted to be caught in this very moment forever, so that neither of them needed to leave or ever hurt again. That idea made her so happy, but she knew they should at some point probably leave the CD and book shop, before Tara got them kicked out for being indecent. The idea was kind of funny, but Tara didn’t want to spend energy on anything other than her Willow.
Willow was able to calm her down about the loud sounds immediately. Tara buried her face in Willow’s neck, glad to have her back. Nothing could set her at ease quite like being around Willow like this. It had been strange, having to adjust to not having her Willow around after she had died. It had been so frightening and uneasy to be so alone, and she had never really had to deal with something like that. She hadn’t been feeling quite the same in the afterlife, mostly because she could feel the presence of her mother and the other departed that she had cared for. “I-I’m sorry baby. I’m just… a little jumpy.” Her voice was muffled by Willow’s neck as she apologized.
She smiled at Willow’s comment about turning the store’s manager into something if he didn’t shut up. “Not that I wouldn’t love for you to do that…” She grinned at Willow, leaning back to look at her, “I would rather just talk. We can always just ignore him.” Tara played with Willow’s hair gently, wrapping it around her fingertips gently. She wondered where Buffy had gotten off too, but it wasn’t a big concern for her at the moment. She had her Willow, and that’s all that really mattered. Tara was grateful to Buffy for this moment alone with Willow.
“Coffee, well tea sounds great.” She kissed her quickly, trying to be a little more discrete because of the thoroughly miffed manager. “I’ve only been here for a few days, so I don’t really know where to go.” She laughed softly, “Though I am suppose to pick up something at the magic shop in town later.” She slid her fingers through Willow’s and gently squeezed her hand. “Where are you staying?” Tara asked her, turning a little red at the possible implications of the question. “I don’t want to spend a second away from you.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow knew that should probably go some were to talk, everyone in the store was stating to stare at them. Willow really didn’t care though, she could just stand there and hold her for hours on end, but Willow didn’t really want to make to much of a seen with everyone in the there. Willow did also want to know what the heck happened to Buffy anyway?? Willow was still holding Tara in her arms “it ok baby, sometimes I get jumpy too, especially with seeing you again here for the first time.” Willow did feel a bit jumpy as well, she was so happy to have here baby there again with her. Words could not express how Willow was feeling in this this very moment, to feel Tara’s heart beat as Willow was holding her with her chest pressed against Tara’s. Willow was getting mad at the store clerk “yeah I guess we can ignore him, but it still would have been fun to mess with him” Willow said to Tara with a giggle. Willow knew though that she might want to cool it with the magic, she knew that Tara wasn’t always so big on Willow using it all the time. Willow was going to have to try and get in to the habit of not using it as much. Willow grabbed Tara’s hand to started walking out of the store with her, “yeah I don’t all the places here all that well ether, you know baby you should and stay with us at the slayer bordering house, what ya say?” Willow would love to have Tara stay there with them. With Buffy always busy slaying and Dawn with her new boyfriend chase, Willow felt like she was on her own sometimes. Willow really would love to have a magic buddy again, especially if it is the love of her life. Willow continued with Tara out trying to find a coffee shop. Tara was thrilled at the idea of being able to live with the gang again, especially Willow. She didn’t know what the living arrangement was like there, but it didn’t matter to her. If it took moving to Virginia, quitting her job, and changing everything about the new life she had formed, then she was perfectly content to do so if it meant being with Willow. She knew she would agree to moving into the slayer boarding house, if whoever was running it would have her. She could earn her keep somehow and she knew it. Maybe cooking. She always loved doing that, especially when her audience seemed to have always enjoyed her pancakes.
It was a bit unsettling to Tara that Willow’s first solution to the slight irritation of the manager was to think of using magic. Tara feared that Willow had kind of fallen into her old addiction to magic, but she didn’t quite feel the same level of dread as she had felt before when Willow had been addicted. “I think leaving is our best bet.” She smiled at her as they started walking off. “Besides, leaving would probably bother him more knowing most men.” Tara rolled her eyes at her own comment. She didn’t want to outright comment on her talk of magic or ask if she was overusing again, so she just skirted around it.
She made sure that her hand was nice and securely wrapped with Willow’s as they headed out to go find a coffee shop. Tara must have looked like a grinning fool as she walked with Willow, not looking anywhere else but at her. The air was refreshing, and the gravity of what had just happened was really starting to hit her. “I’ll move in.” She said quickly, extremely enthusiastically. “I’m technically suppose to go back to Los Angeles in a few days, but… I hate my job and where I live.” She admitted out loud for the first time. “Do you live in Mystic Falls all the time, or do you travel around too?” she asked almost hesitantly, as if she didn’t quite want to hear the answer. She didn’t want to lose Willow as soon as she had found her again, but then again, she was ready to follow her to the ends of the earth and back.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow was happy knowing that he baby would be falling a sleep in her arms again at night, it was such a dream, Willow didn’t really like sleeping alone ether. Willow loved the idea of having her in the house again, now Willow would have someone else to help clean, cook and do magic with. Willow was so happy she could not wait to get back home and show Tara there room. But then Willow realized she getting way head of herself, Tara might want her own room. Willow hoped she would share a room with her, she was so tired of being alone it was killing her at night. She needed her baby. “yeah babe that would be great if you moved in I would love that, We usually live in Rome, but right now we are needed here because there was talk about potentials being here in Mystic Falls. So here we are looking for them and going to take them back to Rome.” So far Willow liked it there, especially with having run in to her first love. Willow was never going to forget this place, as long as she lived, she would never forget this moment. She still could not believe she was holding Tara’s sweet hand in hers. Willow then wondered what was going on in L.A. why was Tara staying there anyway? “So you said that you have been saying in Los Angeles? Why what is going on there and what kind of job you have baby?” Willow hoped she was not asking Tara too many questions at once, she just missed her and want to know how she has been. “Well I hope you can stay here with us, I will die with out you here, we have money so you wont need a job babe.” Willow waited patiently to see what she would say.. Tara didn’t really want to explain why she hadn’t tried to find Willow sooner. It had been hard for her, making a life after her resurrection, but she didn’t really have any definite reasons. Willow had overcome the darkness that had emerged right after Tara had been killed and she had even seemed to move on from it. Tara had always thought it hadn’t been her place to interrupt Willow’s life after she had died and been brought back. She didn’t need to interrupt anymore and bring back all those feelings that Willow had felt right after she had died by showing up at her doorstep. All of this and the fact that Tara didn’t know if she could have handled the emotional turmoil of seeing the woman who owned her heart with someone else, if it had come to that.
It all sounded petty, but that’s really what kept her away from Willow after she had been resurrected. On top of that, she had been weak for quite some time and didn’t really feel like being the damsel in distress of the gang because she would have been entirely susceptible to big bads and whatnot. She listened carefully to Willow speak, her eyes fixed upon Willow’s. “Rome? That sounds amazing. I’ve never been there.” She mused for a moment, her thumb rubbing over the top of Willow’s hand gently and comfortingly. “This all must be so odd for all of you. The whole new country thing and all these potential slayers being around. I don’t want to get in the way of anything…” Tara sighed, thinking that that was exactly what was to happen.
When Willow started asking questions, she knew she would have to talk about what had been happening with her since the resurrection. She didn’t want too much, mostly because it was boring and she was much more interested in what Willow had to say, but she answered anyways. “I… just found a place in Los Angeles after I was resurrected. It’s just a temp job, so I could pay for rent and food. Nothing interesting, I must admit. Kind of a boring and dreary style of living.” She shrugged, hoping that she had sufficiently explained her own situation.
Tara wanted nothing more than to move into the slayer boarding house with Willow. She hadn’t ever expected it to be a hard decision for her to make if the opportunity had ever presented it to herself in this new lifetime. She had been totally right. In addition to her own feelings, there was this certain feeling that let her know that what she was doing was what she was suppose to, but she couldn’t quite feel out the origin. Tara didn’t quite know how to ask what the living arrangements were going to be set up like. Did Willow want to share a room? Did she already room with someone else? The idea made Tara want to vomit a bit, but Willow had already soothed her previously in the conversation. “I think I was dying again without you with me. Slowly, you know? Piece by piece, and now I feel alive again for real.” She admitted to Willow, stopping on the sidewalk to take her other hand. Tara had to swallow and take a deep breath, “I have trouble sleeping. I think it’s because I’ve been alone. The noises make me jump and keep me awake.” She supposed this was her roundabout way of asking about the room arrangements. She just hoped that it would work. “I can help out around the boarding house though right? I don’t want to just be a burden.” Tara chewed her lower lip slightly, just watching her love.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow had been living in Rome yes it was true, which in way with losing Tara made her happy to live there. Everything that was in Sunnydale had made Willow think of Tara, the bronze, there little coffee shop they went to, and even the house that Buffy lived in. She will never forget the few months that Tara and her played mother for Dawn when Buffy was dead, Tara and he got very close in those months. So Rome right now for Willow was the best place she could really be right now, but now that she had Tara with her anywhere in the world would do just fine for Willow. “Rome is amazing there is so much I have learned about the place in just living there, did you know that the city of Rome was the largest megalopolis of that time, with a population that may well have exceeded one million people!.” Willow then stopped talking knowing that she sounded like a nard, but Willow couldn’t help it she loved learning about new things and new places. Willow was just that way, besides magic she loved to learn as many new things that she could, if she doesn’t have her face in a magic book it was always in a big of some sort. Willow might have actually been the only person in Sunnydale, that got excited when she heard it was time for school. With Willow having to deal with her parents and living near the Hellmouth, it was good Willow had school to keep her sane. “anyway you will love Rome, and yeah it is kind of crazy with all the other potential slayers running around, but we have become all one big family. Don’t worry babe you wont get in the way, you know I actually teach magic there and I have a pretty big class, and it can be hard all for one person sometimes. I and the others would love it if you came there to help me teach magic, I mean when we go back, so what you say baby?” Working together to teach magic, Willow loved that idea getting to work side by side with Tara. But who knows when that will be, only god knows when there work will be done there. Willow felt bad for Tara it had sounded like she was kind of struggling to get by in Los Angeles, “well baby you don’t have to worry anymore about trying to get by, you can stay with us and you don’t have to worry about money it is all paid for by the counsel.” Willow gave Tara a big smile and kissed her on the hand. Tara was then telling Willow how she didn’t sleep well at night, “yeah I don’t sleep well ether I hate sleeping alone at night, you can bunk with me if you want baby, and don’t worry baby you are not in anyway a burden” Willow said to Tara as she gave her a sweet kiss on the lips, “Look I think there is a Coffee house over, what you think?” Word Count- 520 Tagged- Buffy and my sweet Tara Outfit- Click to see Willow's cute outfit Note- Sorry for the wait, Happy Easter! ~~~~~~~~~~~

The idea of travelling to a foreign country had always excited Tara, but actually moving and living there made her a bit nervous. She couldn’t speak any other languages and her stutter couldn’t make learning them any easier. She hated feeling helpless and lost, but that’s most certainly how she would feel as soon as she transplanted to Rome. None of that mattered though. She was ready for anything as long as she was with Willow. She knew that. Tara had always known that she could do anything with Willow. That was love and Tara knew it. And it was beautiful.
She listened and nodded at Willow’s description of Rome. Her enthusiasm for the place was contagious, and even though Tara had some anxious feelings about the move, they were nearly erased. Now she was thinking about seeing Rome and the world with Willow. All the places they could go, the people they could see, the things they could do. It was all open to them now that she was alive. “I can’t wait to go with you. You’ll have to show me around.” She smiled at Willow, pushing her own hair behind her ear. It always seemed to have a habit of falling into her face. “Though I don’t know a single word of Italian, that will probably be tough.” She laughed a little. “I guess I’ll just have to learn.”
The whole situation just sounded so crazy to Tara. Tons of young girls running around with slayer powers just sounded like it would get out of hand pretty fast. Tara wasn’t one for being a disciplinarian or much of a public speaker, but she would do it for Willow. Who knew anyways, maybe she could help Willow teach a whole bunch of slayers magic. It was her biggest contribution to the group, even if she wasn’t as adept at it as Willow. “I’ll help out in anyways that I can.” She blushed slightly, “I would love to help you teach the girls. The best I can at least. You know me and well… talking.”
Not having to worry about money would take a huge load off of her back, and by the sounds of it, she would be able to help out. Willow’s lips on her hand made her skin tingle, turning her cheeks even redder, and a goofy little grin to spread across her face. On top of that, Willow suggested that they bunked together, which seemed to boost Tara’s confidence. “Bunks?” She managed to get a little redder, “How about one bed. More comfy than bunks.” Tara tried to manage a cocky grin, but kind of failed miserably. She smiled against Willow’s lips as she was kissed. Tara looked toward the coffee shop that Willow had indicated too. “Sounds good to me.” She smiled, ridiculously happy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Yeah baby don’t worry I will show you around, and trust me you are going to love it there.” just the thought of Tara going home with Willow made her existed, she couldn’t wait to get back to Rome now. It was going to be a while though with everything going on in Mystic Falls right now, they don’t even know how long it will take. But they know they wont be going home anytime soon, Willow just hopes they find them all soon and help the potentials anyway they can, Willow wasn’t to worried about it Buffy was good at spotting them, after all it what she did. Willow giggled with Tara and said “Don’t worry baby I don’t speak much Italian either, we can get better together ok.” Willow was so excited to get to do these things again with her baby Tara, Willow feels like since she had lost her she hasn’t been much for exploring and leaning new things Except for with magic that was one of the only things that could take her mind really off her troubles. It made Willow feel powerful and needed, like the way she felt with Tara around. Willow was happy to have Tara helping her teach, the girls were going to love her. “Yeah you will be a great help babe, and the girls are going to love you don’t worry. You will be a good teacher, I just know it.” Willow thought it was sweet that Tara was still asking about the bed situation, Willow then stopped and looked Tara in the eyes and said “baby don’t worry you can share a bed with me. I want you to I just didn’t want to come right out and ask, I guess I was sacred that there might have been someone else in you life. I’m not going to lie I don’t like the thought of that, the thought of you with someone else make me sad baby. I love you so much I just want to with you forever and always.” Willow looked as though she was going to cry again. Willow then entered the coffee shop with Tara, it was a nice open store with lots of light and comfy seats, it was the perfect place for drinking coffee and reading magic books. Willow loved it as she was smelling the coffee been smell, she loved that aroma. She then looked at Tara and said “Look baby I think that might be Buffy over there, lets go.” Willow and Tara made there way over to the table, to see what good old Buffy was doing. Just being around Willow seemed to give Tara a confidence boost. She was excited to go, to do new things, both here in Mystic Falls and in Rome. Before she had met Willow, she wouldn’t have dreamed of travelling abroad. It would have just been some mild fantasy that she never really entertained out of fear of the unknown. Now she was ready to do anything, including leaving all that she knew, as long as she was by Willow’s side. Who cares about language barriers? Who cares about having to speak to large groups of young slayers? She could do it all because of Willow.
Tara grinned when Willow giggled as well. It was one of her most favorite sounds in the world, and now she could hear it again. “Together.” She smiled at Willow, squeezing her hand gently. “I like that. Learning together, teaching together.” And that was no lie, Tara would never be unhappy if she was with Willow. The whole situation made her so happy, that nothing could ever erase that.
Her moment of bravery (at least in her mind it was a moment of bravery) had paid off. Willow had obviously gotten the hint about where she wanted to sleep at night, and warmth bubbled inside of Tara as Willow said that she would be willing to share her bed again. Then Willow spoke of the possibility of there ever being someone else in Tara’s life. That idea just seemed absolutely preposterous to Tara. There could never be anyone else. “B-baby. There has been no one else. There couldn’t be. I couldn’t love anyone else.” Tara could see that Willow nearly started crying again, and that almost set her off again, but somehow she was able to hold it in. “We have forever now. I love you too baby. Everything’s alright now.” Tara pressed her lips gently against Willow’s cheek. “Forever. I promise.” She whispered in her ear softly.
The coffee shop wasn’t too busy, so Tara didn’t feel much of her usual anxiety about their entrance. She loved the place as soon as they stepped foot inside. It was places like these that she had made her refuge in Los Angeles, and having this here in Mystic Falls comforted her greatly. A little piece of home was transplanted for her to escape too, but she supposed it wouldn’t be as necessary as it had been before now. Now she had Willow.
“Wait a second.” She stopped before they got to Buffy and pulled on Willow’s arm. Tara was pretty sure that Buffy could see them, but she didn’t really care as she kissed Willow again, standing right in the middle of the nearly empty shop. Tara smiled when she pulled her head back, and wandered back over to where Willow had said Buffy was standing, hand in hand with Willow.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - She sighed as she hung up her phone, knowing that she would get nowhere fast with attempting to get Giles out of meetings. They had been having a lot of meetings recently between the Slayer School and the Watcher’s Council. It had come to their attention (after the fact of course) that they needed a lot more Watchers than they had so they were trying to come up with a way to recruit some without sending out the word that there were vampires around. They had recruited those who came from families of Watchers and some who had actually been saved by different slayers, but it still wasn’t nearly enough. Watchers were technically only supposed to have one slayer at a time, which granted that was because there was usually only one slayer called at a time until she went and died and was brought back….but it was still a good sound rule. It was hard for a Watcher to keep up with one slayer, let alone try and stick him with three or four. So at the moment they had paired up each Watcher with two slayers. It wasn’t a good fit, and a lot of times it came to blows since the two slayers didn’t agree on certain things but it was what they had to do at the moment.
Her thoughts were broken momentarily by the waitress asking if she wanted a refill. She nodded her head thankfully and waited until the waitress was gone before taking a sip of her now hot coffee. She was glad it was hot, as the cup that had been sitting there had almost cooled off completely. Her thoughts were dragged back down to her school when she thought of how long she would actually be gone. She had stepped in as sort of a Watcher/Trainer in order to help the slayers who were still in school and to allow ample time for Giles to find a suitable watcher for each girl…however now that she was gone she knew that the others were having to pick up the slack.
She heard the bell to the door jingle but didn’t pay it any attention at the moment. Her thoughts were still clouded on ideas on how they could recruit new watchers and how she could figure out a way for the school to handle her being away for too long. She knew that the girls had the strength to protect themselves, though they didn’t have the skill yet. If there was an attack on the school she knew that many lives would be lost because she wasn’t there in order to protect everyone. She hated that even though the world was full of slayers it still fell to her to protect everyone. They all had slayer strength, but not her strength. Her strength had come from years of being the slayer, of being the only one that stood against the world and the forces of darkness that came to it almost daily trying to end it.
She heard a woman next to her grunt an angry grunt and heard her comment about indecency and she looked over to where the woman was looking at. She glared at the woman when she realized she was commenting on her two friends kissing. “Mind your own business you old hag” she commented before motioning to Tara and Willow that she was over here. They didn’t have to come over if they didn’t want too and she would leave if they wanted time alone, but at least this way they would have a table since all the other ones seemed to be full.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow loved hearing Tara say those words together, it was something Willow thought she would never ever get to hear Tara say again to her again. Willow loved having Tara here with her again. She was cherishing ever moment she was having with her, just in case it was a dream. When Willow heard her say there was no one else it was still only her, it made Tara feel great knowing that Willow still belonged to her heart. “Baby I cant lie I tried to be with someone else but it just didn’t work out, I couldn’t get over you being gone. I’m Sorry I tried so hard to get over you and I just couldn’t, I just couldn’t love someone else.” Willow begin to cry a bit again, there was a little tear that ran down her face. Willow then grabbed Tara hand holding it and caressing it, she looked in to deep into her eyes and said to Tara, “Yes forever and ever! I only want to love you baby, you are the only one ever for me. I love you so much Tara!” Willow then leaned in to hug her, rubbing her hand up and down her back and smelling how good she smelled. Willow loved everything about Tara, how soft her hair was, how soft her skin felt, and most of all how great she smelled. Tara loved wearing the best perfumes, and she always dressed so cute as well. In Willow’s eyes she was the most beautiful girl she had ever met. Willow entered the coffee shop with Tara, she could see Buffy sitting over at the table by herself on the phone. Telling everyone about the good news with Tara she guessed, Giles, Xander and dawn were going to be so happy when they find out. Especially Dawn she loved Tara so much, she was like another mother to her when ever Buffy was gone. The group was whole now which made Willow so happy, except Anya was still gone, but with everyone just showing up, she gave that any day now too. Willow then saw Buffy wave them over to the table, Willow was making her way over there. But before she could Tara pulled her over for one more sweet kiss, Willow kissed her back trying to kiss her slowly making the sweet moment last forever. “I love you baby and I never get tired of you kissing me. All right lets go and see how many people Buffy as giving the great news too” Willow continued holding Tara’s hand as they made there way to the table. “hey Buffy what cha ya doing al by your lone some?” Word Count- 450 Tagged- Buffy and my sweet Tara Outfit- Click to see Willow's cute outfit Note- Yay Buffy is back LOL ~~~~~~~~~~~

Tara’s mind was so busy thinking about what was going to happen in the future, she hadn’t really thought much about what she needed to do within the day in order to get her business straightened away. She supposed she could call the agency, even if that was excruciatingly unprofessional, as well as her landlord. There wasn’t much that she had at home anyways. The landlord would probably mail the few things she had if she paid him enough. It was all so surreal and she knew it was going to be hard for her to adjust to the new everything. It was certainly going to be a busy couple of days, but she didn’t really mind.
Willow had been with someone else. Tara had tried not to think about it at all, but now Willow had put it out in the open. Tara felt a little sick to her stomach, thinking about someone else being with Willow as she had been before she died. Questions gnawed at her stomach, things like did she still have feelings for this person? What happened to her? Was it serious? Tara wouldn’t ask any of them because it would make it real and that was something she still never wanted to admit.
“I understand. About someone else. You needed someone after… what happened. I-I’m g-glad someone could help you.” She was grateful to whoever that was, not matter how much pain that the idea caused her. Somebody had taken care of Willow and helped her, well, get over Tara’s death and helped make her who she was today. Tara even thought that she might thank the girl if she met her one day, but that was irrelevant because they probably would never meet by the sounds of it. At least she wouldn’t try to compare herself to the other girl. Tara gently ran her thumb under Willow’s eye to wipe away the tears. “It’s okay.” She smiled, linking her hand back up with Willow’s.
“Sounds good.” Tara nodded and smiled as Willow led them over to Buffy. She took the inside seat so Willow could sit next to her, across from Buffy. Tara couldn’t take her eyes off of Willow, nor did she notice Buffy’s little spat with the woman, although she was getting some odd glares from that general direction. She ordered a tea when the woman came back, her mind still on the other woman in Willow’s life, but mostly just on Willow’s presence before her.
When her tea came, she sipped on it carefully, because it was boiling hot. One of the downfalls of not putting cream or milk in it she supposed. Her hand was still holding onto Willow’s as if she was afraid that if she let go, she could possibly lose her again. Tara was absolutely determined that that would never happen. Her eyes wandered across the table and to Buffy when she finally broke her gaze from Willow. “S-so. How have you b-been Buffy?” She asked, kind of awkwardly, knowing that they had kind of made her feel kind of awkward and then leave before.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She laughed when Willow and Tara walked over towards her and Willow asked what she was doing by her lonesome. “Well that could have been taken one of two ways. One could have been why I’m here all by my lonesome. The answer to that would be that I only know a handful of people in this town so far and none of them were at the coffee house. You two were in the book store and Dawn is at the water park in town. If I took it the way that it was asked and answered what am I doing all by my lonesome…the answer would be I tried calling the school and attempting to speak to Giles but he is in a meeting so good luck talking to him there as you well know.” The slayer answered cheekily before smiling at Tara. “Hey Tara.” She smiled and stood up, giving the young woman a hug. “Glad to see you’re back.” She told her thoughtfully. “And I know that Dawn will be extremely excited to know. She didn’t take your…death…well. She missed you more than I think she missed anyone else she’s lost along the way.”
After that statement was allowed out of her mouth her mind immediately went back to Dawn’s face when she found her with Tara’s body.
Dawn? Oh god. I didn't...want to leave her alone. Dawn. Sweetheart. Come on. Honey, we need to get out of here, okay? Dawn sweetheart. Be strong for me, okay? Dawn we need to go downstairs. I don't understand.
She remembered Dawn commenting on wanting Warren to pay for Tara's death.
We need to find Willow. Yeah, she's gone off the wagon big-time. Warren's a dead man if she finds him. Good. Dawn, don't say that. Why not? I'd do it myself if I could. Because you don't really feel that way. Yes I do. And you should too. He killed Tara, and he nearly killed you. He needs to pay. Out of the mouths of babes.
She shook her head to clear her thoughts. She didn’t want to think of the past any longer today. It wasn’t worth it. Tara was alive, though she still had no idea how it happened. She didn’t want to ask though, for fear either she wouldn’t know or that she wouldn’t like the answer. She knew realistically that if it was something she needed to know Willow would inform her later. She trusted her best friend and Tara enough to know that if something was wrong, something needed to be done, or it was something she needed to be informed of, she would be let in on it. Otherwise she would stay out of it. It wasn’t her business. Tara was her friend yes, but Tara was the love of Willow’s life and that meant that she would let Willow handle this. Willow allowed her freedom…as much as she could anyway…when it came to her and Angel’s relationship, so the blonde slayer would definitely return the favor.
“So Tara, are you coming home with us?” She asked before holding up a hand to stop either one from answering. “Wait, stupid question. I should reiterate that. You don’t have a choice.” She told her, smiling. “You are definitely coming home with us. That’s where you belong…with us.” She stated before standing up and motioning with her head. “Ya’ll want to get out of here. I feel like I smell like coffee and that’s not good around Dawn, that girl doesn’t need anymore caffine and I know if I walk into the house smelling like it she’s going to want some.” She stated, grinning with a laughing smile, letting everyone know she was just kidding around.
She didn't give the other two a chance to respond to her question before she stood up and grabbed their arms, leading them both towards the house. "Come on you two, let's go home." She told them, smiling at them, letting them both know, especially Tara, that it was time to go home.
