----------------------- ----------------------- Kipp had come down from Richmond to train, nothing big, he was just going for a run. He had his backup filled to the brim with nothing really important, but just to add a more difficulty. Heavy for most people, but he was more than capable of carrying the weight. He’s town many of those obstacle course, from the Tough Mudder back in Australia, to the Spartan Race in Miami.
Today marked the first day back of Kipp’s training however, he was certain that he would be sore afterwards. He didn’t really understand what it meant, being a werewolf. He now knew that vampires were extraordinary stronger and more agile then humans. He didn’t think werewolves were like that, except three nights out of the month.
It didn’t take long for him to reach Yellow Stone National Park; Richmond was about an hour’s run out of Mystic Falls. As an added bonus of being a Sunday. There weren’t many people out today, so Kipp didn’t need to worry about bumping into some random. That was always sure to be annoying, he didn’t need to be talking to anyone, well it wasn’t even a need, and Kipp couldn’t be caught talking to anyone.
Entering the trail he continued running up the steep slope, though slower now to conserve energy. Running was the only thing he had now; it made him feel free, and alive. When he ran, Kipp didn’t worry about anything and especially what he was, because when he ran it cleared his thoughts.

------------------ ------------------ Katherine had been out wandering all day. She had run a few errands bumped into a witch but was taking this time to relax. Normally she would be maiming someone for her own amusement or hunger. But she was playing it safe not to mention hunters were everywhere and so were Klaus's spy's. Thought she did like the idea of playing with a hunter or two. She was one for a thrill or two especially since she seemed o be settling here in Richmond for the time being. Katherine meandered about the park. It was a lot larger then the one in Mystic Falls she liked that.
Katherine wore a pair of skinny jeans and a bright blue tank top. She wore converse for once. But she was already regretting that decision. She had broken one pair of heels already out and here. She was not about to loose another but dear god did she hate such flat footed shoes. Not to mention they did not match anything in her wardrobe. God she felt like she was sporting dear Elenas style in this moment and was not a fan of it.
Katherine was out here actually searching for a few things. She already knew if she did kill anyone she could bury them out here if need be. But this lace was so quiet it certainly was not hunting grounds. Though she was sure she could find some super awesome secret hide outs out here. Katherine stopped moving as a noise caught her attention snapping her out of her thoughts. But she still heard to late as a guy came barreling up the rail and almost ran her over if she had not stumbled out of the way and practically fell over a rock. Not her most graceful moment and certainly an embarrassing one. But her nose perked up she knew instantly something was different about this guy he reeked of werewolf.

----------------------- ----------------------- Chances were Kipp probably wasn’t even going to go back home, to his cave. If there was one thing about the woods that he liked, it was the serenity. Who for somebody who was as broken as he was, managed to calm him, Kipp was still on edge, he just wasn’t as angry. Although this came down to there not being many people around, deep in the woods at least, because if the trail had been busy, Kipp would have just ran deeper into the woods off the set path.
He knew that he should be looking for work, since apparently he was staying in Richmond, at least for the time being. This was because of his sister; if it hadn’t been for her then he would have already been on to the next town. She was the one sick of moving around. He couldn’t blame her, because at times that thought even entered his own mind, Richmond was just the best of other worse decisions.
He knew there weren’t any animal attacks, as the local police officers called them. This suited him fine though, because with each and every attack, it reminded him how evil he was. He truly believed that he was the worse there was, and if he ever said this aloud, it would be quite obvious how dejected he was.
It didn’t take long however for Kipp to notice a young woman up ahead, luckily the day had been quite so there was no need to head into the woods. She was walking, she he’d be able to run past her without need for that god awful mindless chatter. He did snigger though, as she lost her balance, tripping over because of him. He would have felt bad for what he had done, if she hadn’t been a vampire, their stench was also awful. That was probably the reason, why vampires and werewolves were enemies though. Kipp didn’t stop; he was hoping she would just think he was an ass, and carry on with her own reasons for being out here.

------------------ ------------------ Katherine's eyes narrowed immediately as she stood up. She heard him laugh at her as he ran past her. Well he certainly thought he was cute. Though the view from behind was not bad in the least. She smiled for an instant before her anger got the best of her. Who did this wolf think he was. Well Katherine Pierce was not about to let him get away with laughing a her. Call her prideful if you must she hardly cared.
Katherine didn't stop to brush off the dirt on herself which she would normally do by all means. She did not mind being drenched in blood but dirt not a good look for her. But in this moment she was more keen on ripping the heart of the werewolf who dared to laugh at her. Sure he was cute but he was stupid to cross her. She did not fear werewolves unless it was a full moon then their bite was on the lethal side. But in human form not so worried about it she was stronger after all.
She clenched her jaw her pride already getting the best of her as she shot off with vampire speed to catch him. She had the resist the urge to rip his throat out instantly. Maybe just some old fashioned pay back. Trip him up. After all a heartless and throat less werewolf was only fun for an instant. It was not to difficult to catch up to him and even pass him and stop instantly in front of him without warning. Fangs out for an instant but faded quickly after a small hiss. "Don't make me hurt a wolf as handsome as yourself." she said unable to stop herself from flirting. She knew he would probably barrel over her but hey that was the fun of it.

----------------------- ----------------------- Kipp could smell the vampire stench coming from the girl; he knew she was able to easily outrun him. But hopefully she wouldn’t, chatting to somebody, let alone a vampire was not something he needed. He wanted to annoy her so much, that she would storm off in his opposite direction, just like he did with everybody else. However he hadn’t completely meant to laugh at her, it had just come out, a force of habit of getting people to hate him. Whatever she decided to do, Kipp was in no mood so as to hint that he didn’t want to talk, he picked his pace up.
He knew that he had just signed his own death warrant, if she so chose it. She was stronger than him after all; he wouldn’t even be able to touch her, if they were to fight. But he still didn’t care, after everybody who he’s hurt; maybe he wouldn’t even try to escape the vampire’s wrath. At least he would have committed to this thought, if he didn’t have a baby sister to protect.
Kipp hadn’t run much further, when he felt a breeze rush past him. He knew that it had been her; however she had stopped so close to him, he was unable to stop in time. Instead Kipp tripped over his own feet, as he feel forward toward the vampire, wrapping his arms around her. He didn’t mean to grab hold of her; he would have grabbed anything to stop his descent. Kipp finally landed on the ground, with the vampire beneath him.
He smirked, “If you wanted me this badly, all you needed do was ask.” He stated, leaning into the young woman to whisper in her ear

------------------ ------------------ Katherine smiled as they fell to the ground. So what if she messed up her hair in his moment it was not about her hair. It was about this werewolf who thought he was better then her. A very cute werewolf. But still Katherine was not in the mood to let someone laugh at her and get away with it. Damn she could be quite the prideful gal. But was surprised her was his arms wrapped around her. Not what she had expected in the least. She had planned to throw him over and end up on top of him but that moment of surprise caught her off guard. She did not make a move.
Katherine dark eyes looked up at him as he moved to whisper to her. "Good to know. I will remember that for next time." she said placing a hand lightly on his chest. "That is if there is a next time." she said more softly. Her hand was strategically placed over his heart. But she did not nothing made not move to cause him pain or rip his heart or throat out. Not yet.
"You have my attention so..." she said simply. She stayed beneath him her body still pressed against his. "Give me one good reason not to kill you." she said through gritted teeth. "I would think before you answer handsome." she said taping her fingers against his chest above his heart. A smirk graced her lips as she waited for a reply. She knew nothing of this werewolf not even his name but she already liked him. Simply for his remark to her. It intrigued her.
She knew she had the upper hand now but come full moon she knew she would be in trouble. Katherine knew letting him live came with a price of being hunted down at the next full moon. But not only was sure used to being hunted. Maybe he had something to offer her that would make that risk worth her while.

----------------------- ----------------------- Kipp knew that being a vampire; the young woman would be able to quite easily throw him off. However it could be said, that he had a death wish of sorts. Not that he would willingly seek death out, but if it came to him, then he just wouldn’t run from it. He wasn’t that far gone to do the deed himself, he had his twin sister to protect and keep from harm after all. But pissing of a vampire that was something he was willing to do, especially if vampires had tempers as bad as werewolves had.
His eyes flashed down in amusement, he may have the upper hand now. But Kipp knew that the vampire was the one who had the real control. As the vampire spoke to him, Kipp noticed where she had placed her hand on his chest, if he wasn’t careful. Then just as quickly as they had fallen, his heart would be ripped from his chest. Eyes flashing down in amusement, even though he knew that she held the real power in their current situation, Kipp spoke. “Is that a threat, vampire?” he growled, although playfully, he was still trying to annoy her, because he still did hate himself, and in a sense, maybe he was tempting her to rip his heart out.
“I can see that,” Kipp stated leaning again to smell the vampire’s neck, he regretted the action but he was sure she would have hated that, so it was worth the discomfort. “You probably should though, I mean I would.” Kipp said making his tone as indifferent as he could, he wasn’t completely lying. The part that didn’t care what happened to him was large, he just wasn’t sure how much of him that was. “So how was my answer, beautiful?”

------------------ ------------------ Katherine cold hand remained pressed against his chest. She felt the warmth of his skin emanating into her hand. Damn wolves temperature ran hot. But this was not the first time she had crossed paths with a werewolf and it probably would not be her last. Katherine had a knack for making friends with presumed enemies. Just the other night she had played nice with an original vampire. Rebekah. Someone she was sure had wanted her dead for centuries. You could find company in the strangest places.
Katherine was more then amused by him. She was mire then surprised by his response. She expect him to fight her but to egg her on now that was a surprise. Katherine smiled up at him nodding her head at him. "It is. I am quite a threat once someone makes an enemy of me." she raised an eyebrow at him. "To think I once was friendly with you kind." she said before clucking her tongue against her teeth.
Katherine shock show on her face as he moved into smell her neck. Did this guy have guts or what? "Beautiful huh? Do you always compliment those who are on the verge of killing you?" she said playfully. Her nails pressed against his skin as if she was considering digging them in. But she did nothing her dark eyes studying him there was something off here. Katherine eyes narrowed for a moment. "Do you want death? The last man I threaten at least fought me...." she tilted her head to the side. "Why do you tempt death?" she asked curiously moving her head close to his face. Making her lips close to his as she spoke her next words. "Or are you just tempting me?" she inquired.

----------------------- ----------------------- Truthfully Kipp would have thought that the vampire would have already thrown him off by now. Wasn’t she supposed to hate him on principle that was how all those vampire and werewolves films portrayed the supernatural relationship? Kipp certainly hadn’t thought that it would be a hard thing to accomplish, his scent alone Kipp thought should have been enough. If she didn’t soon, then he would be forced to run off. The reason he hadn’t already, was because he was having perhaps a little too much fun. He wasn’t quite flirting, he was too depressed to ever do that again, but Kipp was hoping that he was able to irritate the vampire enough, that she pulled his beaten heart from his chest.
He spoke as he looked down at her, “Really, because I just can’t see it. A sweet girl like you couldn’t possibly harm a soul.” Kipp stated winking at her. “How about a kiss, if you can stand the smell of somebody like me?” He asked continuing to goad the vampire. By now it was very clear to her, as to what he was trying to get her to do, as Kipp leant into her making sure that she would be able to get more of his scent.
After coming back, from smell her neck Kipp chose to speak again. “What can I say I’m a real gentleman with all that chivalry crap?” However in his apathetic way, it was obvious he was trying to make fun. He did however winch when the vampire dug her nails into his chest; hard enough for the skin to break as a few drops came seeping through.
He didn’t mean to winch, but it was painful. What he hated the most though, was the vampire seeing just that. “Maybe I just know when I’m beaten?” Kipp said referring to the fact, that they both knew she was stronger then he was. He wouldn’t say what he wanted outright, because she already knew what he wanted. This was also why he didn’t feel the need to answer her other two questions.
But then as the vampire asked her fourth, bringing her lips as close as possible to his own without touching them. Kipp saw his opportunity, because as she spoke he leant down the rest of the way, bringing his lips to hers. Your move vampire, he thought as they kissed, he was really that depressed that he would taunt a vampire.
