I don't want to be, Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
Courtney was enjoying it here in Richmond, she was happy, well happy as she could be. She usually just tried to look at life in a positive way. She was in the town square doing a bit of shopping right now, she needed some fabric so she could make herself a dress for a business meeting this weekend, The woman was alone but that was life, she usually called her brother or her parents if she wanted to talk to people and that was about it. The woman wasn't anti-social or anything, she just didn't have time to talk to people and when she did the guys were either just pigs or nice to the point where it was kind of creepy. Yeah, the girl had trust issues but she never had truly gotten over her first love, which was probably bad but oh well. She was honestly okay with that, that guy had made her a stronger person, she did have her faults and flaws after but life was about messing up. God, she sounded like some inspirational speaker or something. She was just happy with herself, she had made it far in life and that was what she wanted, she had remembered when there was a time when she thought she would fail and not make it in life, relying on her parents forever and going from house to house...clearly this girl was being a bit dramatic but it was who she was. She was still that peppy girl who loved life and wanted to enjoy every second of it, but she did have her negative thoughts which she tended to push away when she could which was hard sometimes. She went inside the store and looked around for the fabric she needed. She was thinking slick black, that would suit her, and she knew she would look good. She got what she needed then went to the jewelry store. It seemed like today would be a long day. She kind of wished she had a few friends to go along with. It was weird how much university could change someone, she had so many friends back in high school and didn't talk to any of them, a part of her was curious to know what they were up to, who they ended up with and if they got everything they wanted. It was just her way of thinking but she really did need to stop thinking, it kind of saddened her. Sure, she loved the adult world, but she did miss high school, it was her domain, her life. She hated carrying these bags, it was the worse thing, wearing heels and a skirt while carrying a bunch of bags, it was't the best thing. She struggled with her bags trying to carry them all. She really should have bought less, she could have came back later for them but she rather struggle now than go back another day. She made a note to get some japanese food later as she really needed some sushi after this day. Plus, she was still adjusting to the town, she had to unpack her things which she was almost done but there was still a few more boxes that had to be unpacked but she couldn't bring herself to do it, she had been so busy that she had always forgot and then when she remembered she was too tired to do it. She just shook her head and struggled with her bags wanting to get in her apartment already, to bad she was still in the town square and was still wondering if she should get anything else. All I have to do,Is think of me and I have peace of mind. tag; lalalala words; 609 wearing; This! credits; template by delilahh @ CAUTION! notes; First post! It was a beautiful day in Richmond, and with nothing much to do, Kyle decided to check out the town square, to see what kind of stores they had. He was kind of enjoying Richmond, more then he ever thought possible. He made some new friends in Willow and Sarah, he found out his old friends were all here as well and had every plan of getting back together with them and helping them with anything they needed when it came to what they were. He would fight with them if need be and he was willing to die for them if it meant saving them.
Kyle decided to get some clothes today. He had a team meeting to attend later in the week and a local press conference that was gonna be all over the local news. Thankfully it wasn't a global conference that was gonna be on every TV in the world on ESPN or anything like that. Just something local that he had to do. It wouldn't draw that much of attention to him and he wanted to make sure that he looked his best for it. So he had to get the proper clothing. Stopping at a few places, Kyle got one pair of shoes and a dress suit that fit all into one bag.
He hated carrying a million bags, so he made sure to buy just enough to get him buy for now. Kyle took a break from walking and sat down on a bench near a fountain where he spotted a girl coming out of a store struggling with her bags. He figured she would get into a car or something, but she didn't she began walking all over town square with those bags and having a hard time with it. Kyle stood up and approached her, catching up with her quickly. "Hi." He spoke to her, gosh she was pretty, but Kyle had such rotten luck with women, he didn't think he had a shot, she was for sure taken by someone.
"I am Kyle." He told her with a smile. "I am sorry, I just saw you with all these bags and I am not really doing anything so I was wondering if you wanted to help." Kyle told her offering his services to her. "I can assure you I have no interest in stealing ladies clothing. I just want to make sure a pretty lady wasn't straining herself." Kyle told her, though it didn't even enter his mind that he was flirting with her in a way at first he back tracked. "I am not doing this as some lame attempt to get into your pants, I just want to help out." He added.
Realizing that he basically said that he didn't want to get into her pants he back tracked again. "Not that I don't want to get into your pants... You know what, I better shut up. I bothered you enough, and you probably think I am a creep or something." Kyle told her deciding to leave her alone. "Sorry I bothered you." He added turning to walk away with her. Great going Kyle, the potentially only single lady in all of Richmond and you acted like a big creep in front of her. He really should just stick his foot in his mouth as he was a big idiot right in this moment.

I don't want to be, Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
She wanted today to be great, she wasn't going to be one of this girl's who complained about her life because there was no reason to. If she was going to complain about it then she would have to change it so she would stop complaining. Like her love life, she never complained about that because there was no reason to. She had her life planned out and if the guy of her dreams suddenly walked in it when she got everything she wanted then that would be great but it hadn't happened, and she was okay with that. Yes, the girl wanted a family and if there was no guy by her side then that would be fine because what she truly wanted to do was adopt. She knew that she was ready to be a mother, it was just who she was, she had matured pretty fast. Her parting days were long gone, they were in high school. When the girl had gotten into university she never even partied, she just stuck to what she needed to do which was to focus in her business course and her fashion. It paid off in the end. Okay, so maybe it seemed like the girl had a stick up her butt but she didn't, she was just really serious about her career and wasn't going to mess it up by being stupid, not to say she did stupid things sometimes but everyone had their flaws. She usually tried to balance her fun side and serious side, she didn't want to go overboard. But that was just her and people usually learned to deal with it, well the people at her work, she wasn't sure who she would befriend in this town. She had wished that she had her brother here or her best friend, just to make things interesting but there was a fat chance of that happening. As she struggled with the bags the girl jumped when she heard a deep voice. "You startled me!" She said as she turned to the man, he was pretty hot. "I mean, hi," she said with a smile. She would just take back her snapping and recover it with a nice lovely smile, that was all she could do right now. "Yeah...sure, I could use the help, but it doesn't mean that I'm not independent okay!" She told the man, she probably seemed so weird right now but she had a thing where she felt like she needed to rely on herself only. She just kept listening to the boy rambling, she could tell he was trying to flirt, she just looked at him wondering if he was okay, he seemed nervous or something, if he was then he really shouldn't be. "You talk a lot," she told him with a bit of a laugh. She wasn't making fun of him or anything, she was just stating he did and to be honest she kind of found it cute, but whatever. So he wanted to get into her pants? Well, he would but wouldn't want to in this instance? She didn't really know where he was getting at, the girl was more confused than him. "You're not bothering me," she said trying to grab him but her shopping bag ended up hitting his back. "Oh, sorry!" she told the man. "And I thought you wanted to help? Gonna let a girl struggle with these bags all day?" She said giving him a pouty face. See, the girl wasn't uptight or anything, if people actually talked to her she was pretty outgoing and a really nice girl, plus she didn't think this guy was a creep, just a nervous man for some odd reason. All I have to do,Is think of me and I have peace of mind. tag; Kyle words; 621 wearing; This! credits; template by delilahh @ CAUTION! notes; That's totally fine! "I'm sorry." Kyle told her, he really didn't mean to scare her. He felt really bad about it, but then she played it off like she was ok and not scared or mad at him. She then said hi back and smiled at him. The first thing Kyle noticed was her voice, it sounded really amazing to his years, and then her smile. She was really so pretty but he feared that she was already spoken for. Then again, if she was, where was her boyfriend to help her with her bags? Maybe she was single after all and Kyle found the girl of his dreams? He really wasn't sure but was hopeful.
She then told him that she could use the help but it didn't mean she wasn't independent. "Ok, don't worry, I know you are." He told her honestly. He could tell she was use to doing stuff on her own, he just wanted to be kind and help her out. She then told him that he talked a lot and he thought it was a bad thing. Kyle really did talk a lot, not that he was nervous right now, he was talking because he thought he was blowing it, and now he thought it really was blown, as she told him he talked a lot. "Sorry, force of habit." He told her.
She then said that he wasn't bothering her and Kyle took that as a good sign. He smiled at her, but before he knew it she was hitting him over the back with her bag. "Well geez you don't have to attack me." Kyle told her teasingly. He knew it was an accident. "Its ok, don't worry about it, I am tougher then I look." He told her with a smile. Realizing he has yet to take the bags from her to carry them for her he finally took about half of them from her and smiled. "So you have a car or live around here?" Kyle asked her holding her bags for her as he followed her.
"I didn't catch your name." Kyle told her as they walked down the sidewalk. "I can just call you bag lady... I mean, um, that came out wrong." Kyle said to her, what was it about her that got him all tongue tied? Kyle use to be a stud in school, he could get any girl he wanted to go out with him and make out with him. Now he could barely for a coherent sentence and not insult her. He looked away from her. "I am sorry, I am, I guess I am rusty at all of this." Kyle told her honestly. Looking back at her she really was beautiful.
"I haven't had much luck in the dating department recently, I just, talking to you is hard for me, cause I want to try to get to know you, but on the other hand I am afraid I am gonna blow it. It was so much easier in high school, when girls threw themselves at you, you know." Kyle told her trying to smile at her. He felt weird talking like that with a complete stranger. But honest was the best policy at this point, and the truth was much better sounding that what he had been saying to her. "You must think I am a weirdo." He told her shaking his head lightly.
"Enough about me, why don't you tell me something about yourself?" Kyle told her, hoping that changing the subject would help him from crashing and burning completely in the ground. "You probably have a boyfriend anyways?" He questioned her with a smile.

I don't want to be, Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
"It's fine, no need for apologies," she told the man. She was completely fine. The girl was just in her own world so it was no surprise why she was startled so easily. The girl sometimes thought too much and that wasn't her fault or anything, she just over thought things. Net time she would just have to be on her guard and pay attention to her surroundings, not that it mattered since no one really was pit to get her, unless this guy was. There was no reason to be paranoid, he was just a man who happened to like her or just thought she was really pretty which made him nervous. "I never said I didn't like it," she told him with a smile as she looked down at her shopping bag. It had been a while since she had actually flirted with a guy. Sure, guys have had hit non her but she was usually not interested, the girl was stubborn. Plus the guys could be such big perverts, many of them just wanting sex. The girl wanted sex too but she wasn't desperate to the point where she needed to be so perverted or needed to sleep around, she would never be that type of girl...not again at least. There was once upon a time when she was but that was in the past and what happened in the past should definitely stay in the past. There she was again, thinking about it when she wasn't supposed to. The girl grinned as he teased, "If it's the only way to get your attention then I do have to," she told him joking around a bit. It was nice to talk to a guy without him having the motive of trying to sleep with her. She was glad she could socialize today, she was afraid of not talking to people in this town but she was now. What she wanted to find though was other witches and she hoped that she would at least find one in Richmond. Talking to Kyle was nice too though, he was actually a pretty funny guy which she didn't expect. She thought he was going to ramble or not stick around to talk to her since he embarrassed himself, well he thought he did but he truly was just being a cute guy. Guess, cute was Courtney's weakness apparently. "You look pretty tough to me," she told him as he took half of her bags. "I live about ten minutes away so it;s not a far walk." The woman tilted her head a bit confused, "Where does your mind wonder off too?" She asked the man with a bit of a giggle after. "I'm Courtney," snd there he was apologizing again when he really didn't have to. "Girls don't throw themselves at you now? I mean a guy who clearly has muscles, most likely abs and no girl is giving you her number?" She asked the man. She refused to believe that no girl had ever hit on the man, he was hot and good to talk to so she couldn't see any girl turning away from him. "Mmm, more of a hot weirdo," she told him with a smile, she was being blunt but that was who she was. She didn't like to beat around the bush and she did find him really attractive, he just had those features. "Myself?" She wasn't sure what he wanted to know, it wasn't like she could tell him 'Oh, my hobbies are cooking, dancing, and yeah doing witchcraft' that wouldn't sound right. "Just an average girl, making a dress for a business party, is there anything specific you want to know?" She asked the man. "Wouldn't you like to know," she told him looking at him. "But no, I'm actually been single, and I've been single for a while actually," and it was a good thing she was cause if she wasn't she would probably not be talking to Kyle. "So, what do you do for living Kyle?" She asked him actually taking in an interest. All I have to do,Is think of me and I have peace of mind. tag; Kyle words; 683 wearing; This! credits; template by delilahh @ CAUTION! notes; SAME like how are the two adorable already? "You do?" Kyle asked her when she said basically that she liked that he talked a lot. He smiled at her. "I really like the sound of your voice as well." He replied. It was true, her voice was lovely and he wished so much in this moment that he could hear it a lot more often, every day if he could, but he wouldn't force that on her, he knew that it was still to early to tell, but it seemed like she dug him and he was for sure into her, so things were going good, but Kyle decided to temper his expectations as he didn't want to get his hopes up to much and have them dashed.
"Oh you had my attention the moment I saw you." Kyle told her, which was probably the corniest thing he had ever said to a girl before. He didn't mind, she seemed to like it when he was being himself and it was true. The moment he laid eyes on her, he wanted to get to know her, and she seemed to want his attention to. Really, Kyle thought he should pinch himself cause he thought he was dreaming as this was really going far to well and he thought he was in bed or something dreaming. But it wasn't a dream, she wasn't a dream, she was very real.
"Ok, thats not that far, we can do this." Kyle encouraged her when she told him she lived 10 minutes away. He really did feel good doing his good deed for the day, and if it scored him some brownie points with her, then that was just a bonus, but he really wasn't thinking of that, he saw a women who needed help and he decided to help. It was his buddhism believes that led him to do this, but when he realized that he and her was actually hitting it off, it was just perfect for him. He really wasn't expecting it, in fact he thought she would call him a creep and to get lost.
"Thanks, I do work out." Kyle said when she told him that he does look pretty tough. Kyle could tell she wasn't saying it to poke fun at him or anything, she meant it. She didn't seem like the type to lie about such a thing. She then asked him where his mind wondered off too. "Well I do ask myself that some times." He told her truthfully. It was weird sometimes as since he didn't have much of a social life he often found himself with a lot of time to think and sometimes his mind went to weird places and he wondered if everything was real.
She finally told him her name. Courtney. The name rolled off her tongue and he about swooned then and there for her. "Nice to meet you Courtney." He told her honestly. She then questioned him about girls throwing themselves at him, saying he had muscles and probably abs as well. Kyle began to blush, realizing that she was checking such stuff out on him. "Well, they do sometimes." Kyle began, wondering how much he should tell her. "Sometimes I do get into a relationship, but it always seems like she leaves me." He told her hoping that would be enough.
She then told him that he was a hot weirdo making an mmm sound with her lips. Kyle couldn't help but blush there, her voice just sounded so flirty and it drove him wild. "You think I am mmm?" Kyle asked her, not even caring about the weirdo part. "Well, I think you are way more then mmm yourself." Kyle told her, he took it back, that was the most corny thing he have said to a girl. He took a deep breath, finding out she was just as attracted to him as he was to her calmed him down and he felt like he could be himself now.
He nodded. "We have that in common. Not the normal girl part, but I am just average too." Kyle told her, it felt a little like a lie, but he couldn't just come out and say he was an alien now could he? He shrugged. "Well, anything really. What do you like, music, sports, movies? Have any siblings. Anything you wish to share I want to hear." Kyle told her truthfully, how could he just not fall for her? She then told him that she was single and had been for quite awhile at that. He smiled. "Me too, I haven't really had a steady serious relationship for 6 years." He told her honestly.
"I play baseball for the local minor league team." Kyle said a little more proudly then he should of. "Which is why I have to work out. So what do you do? You in some kind of business or something?" Kyle asked her wanting to know as much as he could about her.

I don't want to be, Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
"Yeah, I mean it's rare for a guy to talk a lot, I hate one worded responses," she said with a frown. She remembered the guys she tried dating and they literally said 'okay' or 'alright' which just pissed the woman off. She knew their motives and that was to sleep with her, the old her would have given in but the new her didn't. She could tell Kyle was different though, he didn't seem like the type to try anything funny. "Well, that's a new one," she told the man. She had never been complimented on her voice, other than the fact that it was good for presentation. "Thank you," she told him with a smile. She was enjoying talking to him, and he was actually a really nice guy, well so far. The girl looked down to the ground and had a hidden smile. He was honestly being so sweet and she didn't know why he was so nice. How was a guy like him single? Unless he was a player or something but he didn't seem like the type to do that and if he was then the girl would of course be upset but she wasn't getting that vibe. "Well, aren't you just smooth with your words slick," she told him teasingly. It was nice of him to say that, he came over here to help but also because she was pretty, if she was someone else and not attractive he probably wouldn't have helped her, it was just how the world worked. Thank god he was hot, she looked into his eyes and loved the colour of them, she could probably stare for a long time but then she would be labeled as an official stalker and should be restrained. She just visually enjoyed him, and him shirtless would be a different story but she probably wouldn't have the chance to see that far. "Thanks again for helping me, I would have probably dropped my bags a bunch of times," she told the man. Well, she could use her magic to help her if she wanted to but she was in public and she wasn't going to risk herself getting caught, who knew what would happen if people had found out the truth. She just remembered reading about how witches got burned, even ones who weren't real witches, that was harsh and she did not want that happening to her, even though it was the twenty-first century so she really had nothing to worry about. But if she did attempt to use it by using some spell then she wouldn't have had the help of Kyle which meant she wouldn't have met him, and that would have sucked considering this was her first non-professional conversation in a while. She could totally just watch him working out, rippling muscles and abs as he did chin-ups...sweating, okay, she definitely needed to get her mind out of the gutter. She could admire an attractive guy, couldn't she? "If you don't know then I guess we'll never find out what you think," she told him with a shake of her head but of course joking. "It's nice to meet you too Kyle," she told him with a smile on her face. She wasn't sure if they were supposed to shake hands or not, usually she did but maybe she shouldn't this time. It wasn't like this was a meeting, it was two people having a normal conversation and finding out who they were and what their interests were, she needed to remember that. She looked at his cheeks and saw a tint of pink. "Kyle," she gasped. "Are you blushing?" She asked as she moved a bit closer. He was actually so adorable, she couldn't help but smile at him. "I'm pretty sure I said hot but mm works to," she said with a bit of a laugh. "And thank you," once again laughing. He was actually a really funny guy, a bit cheesy but she liked the cheesiness, it made it all the better, well that was what she thought at least. Once again laughing as he said not the normal girl part. "I love music! I mean I love to dance to it and I'm definitely a fan of romantic movies," she told the man. "Sports, I don't mind them I guess," she just thought the guys were hot and that was the main reason she would watch a sport. "I also have an older brother, we're really close," she said opening up a bit to him but not too much. "Baseball?" She said, him playing a sport just made him more attractive. "Are you any good?" She was interested to know about the sport and she definitely loved a man in uniform. She could be his personal cheerleader, okay no more thoughts like that. The girl needed to stop. "I'm actually in fashion hence why I'm gonna be making a dress tonight," she told the him. "Have you been in Richmond for long? I just moved here, well re-moved here," she wasn't sure if that made sense. "Well, that's not me, you will never get a one word response from me." Kyle told her with a smile. He had always been the chatty type he guessed. "Your welcome." Kyle told her when she thanked him for complimenting her on her voice. Yeah he guessed most men don't care enough about hearing a women's voice and they don't pay attention to what women have to say. It really was a shame that every women thought that all men were horrible listeners and just wanted the women to remain quiet. He liked talking with Courtney and didn't want her to ever stop talking.
The truth was that he couldn't help but imagine hearing her voice in a more intimate situation and he really shouldn't be thinking like that, but it was the truth. As much as he wanted to get to know her and hopefully get close with her, he was a guy after all and every guy, even ones who actively practice buddhism couldn't help thinking like that from time to time. Kyle was close to slapping himself, but he somehow got his mind off of it. He just shrugged, he had never been called smooth and slick before. Not even by Liz. He didn't know if he was or not, but she seemed to think so. "Thanks, I am glad you think so." He replied.
"Well as my teachings say, The greatest achievement is selflessness." Kyle told her with a smile when she thanked him again for helping her with her bags. "So it really was no trouble at all." Kyle told her with a smile as he continued to help her with her bags. Even if this is the only time they see each other, which Kyle wished was not the truth, he still would do it just to help her out. He wasn't doing it as some lame attempt to woo her, he just wanted to be friendly and kind like his buddhism would tell him to be in this case.
Kyle would feel really sad if she never wanted to see him again after this. It seemed to be going well with her, and she was single and he was single, and he was into her and she was seemingly into him. So he kind of knew that she would at least agree to giving him her number, but Kyle didn't want to assume anything of Courtney just yet. Just because the attraction was there doesn't mean she wanted to be with him. So though he wanted to give it a shot with Courtney real badly, he wasn't thinking that it was a for sure thing just yet.
"Hope you don't think less of me for getting trapped in my own mind from time to time." Kyle told her honestly. She was really nice and clearly just joking about it, but still, he had to make sure. The walk seemed to be going so fast and Kyle didn't want it to end, but sooner or later it would and it will crush him if she says goodbye and he never sees her again. He couldn't think about that right now, he had to be here with her in the time he has with her and hope everything works out. "Maybe I am insane and you should run?" Kyle told her jokingly.
Her calling him out on blushing only made him want to blush more. "Uh, yeah, kind of. I wish I could tell you I hear compliments like that everyday, but I don't." Kyle told her honestly, she really was sweet and he liked the fact that she seemed to be moving closer to him, he liked feeling the warmth from her body as it inched closer. He knew she wouldn't get to close but it was still a good feeling. Kyle nodded when she thanked him for the compliment. "Well it is true, you are really hot and mmm as well." Kyle said with a smile.
"I don't have any siblings, I love music and dancing as well, I love sports and all movies." Kyle said back to her when she told him what she liked. It was really sad that he never had a sibling. He had his friends who were like family to him, he once had Tess, but she betrayed him and he just couldn't see her as a sister anymore. Kyle felt bad because he left his father completely alone, but he had to, in order to protect him. He smiled when she asked him if he was any good. "I am alright, they project me to be Major League ready in two years." Kyle told her honestly.
Just to make it that far in professional baseball meant that you were good, didn't mean he was gonna make it, but he could, and he wanted it to happen. "Fashion, that's cool, I like shopping." Kyle told her, he guessed he would never like it as much as women did, but it was alright to take a break from real life. "Yeah, a few weeks ago when I got traded to the team. Its a pretty awesome town." Kyle said, well before it was just alright, but now that he knew Courtney was in it, it made it instantly awesome. That was way to cheesy for him to say though.

I don't want to be, Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
"Good, because right now you're quite entertaining," she told the man with a smile. She liked how he talked, he was just a positive guy, or seemed to be a positive guy. And he knew how to talk to a girl. Courtney had such a bad view on men when she shouldn't have because there were the nice guys and Kyle was definitely one of the nice guys. In all honestly she was really surprised to see how an attractive guy could be so nice, it was like a dream to her. Usually nice guys turned into jerks though, and the jerks turned into bigger asses or sometimes they turned nice for the girl they were in love with. She had seen it all, she had hoped that Kyle would continue to be nice. Kyle was a charmer and Courtney didn't know if he knew that but he knew how to flirt, she wondered if he had any other surprises. A nice attractive guy, who was definitely attracted to her, was this a dream? Was Courtney hit in the head and now she was in a coma? This was just too good to be true, she was of course thinking crazily but she couldn't help it. She just didn't understand why a good thing was happening, usually good things never happened. She was attracted to the man, he was nice, funny, the kind of guy that would be wonderful to date, but what if this ended badly? Yes, she was thinking about the negative things that could happened, she had to take precaution of course. She didn't want to get hurt again, the last time it killed and she didn't want her heartbroken, she wouldn't be able to deal. "Your teachings? Are you some motivational speaker or something?" She asked the man while tilting her head. She was a bit confused at what he meant and maybe that made her dumb but it wasn't her fault. She was interested in knowing what he meant by teachings. "You are way too nice...what's the catch?" She asked the man. "Just kidding," she told him. She wasn't going to be that paranoid, did she really want to seem like a crazy bitch? No, not in front of him at least. She wasn't going to assume that he was doing all of this just to get in her pants, he was actually doing this out of generosity, well he hopefully was, she didn't want to be lied to or anything. She'd have to see how everything played out, right now she wasn't getting any bad vibes though. "Why would I? If anything that makes you more interesting, I like the mystery," she told him with a smile. There was probably a lot to know about this guy, she did want to know him better and figure out what he had been through and why he seemed so mysterious. She wasn't complaining about him being mysterious because it was kind of a turn on but still, she felt like there was more to this man and she didn't know what it was. Maybe with getting to know him she would find out, unless they didn't see each other after this...she really hoped that didn't happen. She wanted to see him again, he was fun to talk to and it wasn't like the girl was busy all of the time, so it'd be nice to see him sometime this week again, if he wanted to, she didn't know what he was thinking right now. She laughed, "I'll take my chances with your insanity," she told him. He seemed to be alright with her flirting and what she was saying to him, so clearly there was an attraction between them and she was really happy about that. It was the girl's turn to blush, "You're sweet, thanks Kyle," she said as she hid her small smile. God, he really knew how to use his words and that was honestly one of the best qualities to have. So far him asking to help had been a really good thing. "What's your favourite sport?" She asked the man, curious to know what he would say. She was just interested in his life. "So, you're basically amazing then, I might just have to see how good you play...someday," she said twirling her hair feeling like she messed up. What if he didn't want to see her again? Maybe the girl was being a bit to rash or something. "So, a guy who talks a lot, whose sweet, likes to shop, tell me again how you don't have a girlfriend?" She said a bit shocked. He was literally the perfect guy, how has no girl held onto him? "Yeah, I like it, I went to university here," she said with a smile. "I'm originally from Canada," she told him, she figured she would tell him where she was born just for the heck of it. She was glad to be in this town, if she wasn't she wouldn't have met such a sweet guy. The two neared her apartment, "Well, I guess this is my stop," she said to the man. Not wanting their little talk to end so soon. Why did she have to live only ten minutes away? She decided she would step over little bubble, "Thank you for carrying my bags," she said to the man feeling nervous. "Would you like to come in and have a drink?" She asked wondering what he would say. All I have to do,Is think of me and I have peace of mind. tag; lalalala words; 917 wearing; This! credits; template by delilahh @ CAUTION! notes; LOL RIGHT?! "Thank you, I find you very entertaining to be around as well, I can't wait to get to know you better." Kyle told her honestly, giving her the first real hint that he wanted to get to know her. Kyle liked the fact that she found him entertaining, a few girls have said that to him as well in the past, but this is the first time it has meant something to him. He wanted her to find him charming and a blast to be around. It was the best feeling in the world knowing that she enjoyed his company and he was really happy about that.
On the other hand, Kyle was scared. Scared about what happens if him and Courtney do get close. If she ends up falling for him, and he falls for her. He would be bringing Courtney into his crazy life and dangerous at that. Courtney could get hurt, or killed or worse if she gets involved in Kyle's life. That scared him more then anything, commitment was easy, he could easily see himself giving himself fully to Courtney, but that was the problem, if he gave himself to her and the two got serious, he would have to tell her the truth and it could get her into trouble.
"I practice Buddhism." Kyle told her when she questioned him on his teachings. Laughing when she asked if he was some kind of motivational speaker. Courtney's naivety in this moment was really adorable. "I hope that doesn't freak you out. Many people don't understand it." Kyle told her, remembering the teasing he got from his friends back in the day. Sure they didn't mean it at the end of the day, but still they never fully understood why he wanted to practice Buddhism and the reasons he did it. It was ok, he forgave them.
She then told him he was way to nice, asking what the catch was. This was a difficult question for Kyle. There was a catch, a huge one, one he couldn't tell her in this moment, it would freak her out and she would really think he was crazy. However, she quickly told him that she was kidding. It relieved Kyle a little bit, but he knew the truth, someday he was gonna have to tell her everything. Still, not being able to tell her everything right away felt wrong, like he was starting this potential relationship on a lie and that didn't feel very good.
He smiled when she said he had a lot of mystery to him and she liked it. She was right, Kyle did have a lot of secrets, and that had always been the problem. That is why all his relationships were so brief, they never even got far enough to be counted as relationships. The women wanted to know everything right away and he couldn't tell them. "That's good, hopefully over time you will allow me to share the mysteries with you?" Kyle asked her, hoping that would tell her he couldn't share it all at once, but he would someday.
"You are welcome. I like seeing a smile on your face, especially if I know I put it there." Kyle told her, she really did have a nice smile and he was really trying his hardest to get her to smile and it was working, it was like they were perfect for each other, they got along so well so quickly he wondered if there was a catch with her as well, but it didn't matter, she was so awesome she could tell him she was anything and he would be find with it. She could tell him that she was a zombie and he wouldn't care to much about it, so long as she didn't eat his brains.
"Well, I guess I like playing Baseball the most, but played Football in high school." He told her truthfully. "But I guess watching Football, on sundays, with my dad, those were the best days back then." He told her honestly. He really missed his father right now. "Well I wouldn't say I am amazing..." Kyle told her, glad that she seemed to be tooting his own horn for him. He smiled as she said she wanted to watch him play. "Really? That would be so cool." Kyle told her, he was happy that she basically said that she wanted to see him again.
"I guess why I don't have a girlfriend is just a mystery." Kyle told her with a smile. "I would love if you watched me play, that would make my day." Kyle told her honestly. He was so enjoying this time with her, but he knew it was coming to an end as they continued to walk along. "That's cool, Canada, eh." Kyle told her, he hoped she didn't mind him slightly trying to sound Canadian, though he was really horrible at accents. "I am from New Mexico." Kyle told her, he knew that it wasn't enough to get her into trouble as a lot of people were from there.
"Yeah." Kyle said, sounding way more disappointed then he meant to sound when she said this was her stop. He couldn't help it, this was the moment he was dreading, her saying goodbye to him. "You're welcome, besides between you and me it gets me karma points with Buddha." He said with a smile she then shocked him, instead of telling him bye, she invited him up for a drink. Kyle smiled at her. "Well, my religion states that I am not suppose to take rewards for my good deeds..." Kyle said looking at her. "...But I really really want to. Of course I will." Kyle said to her, she really just made him the happiest person in the world in this moment.

I don't want to be, Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
The girl smiled as he said he couldn't wait to get to know her better. So he did want to see her again. That made the girl really happy, she liked talking to him and it would be upsetting if they stopped after today. He seemed to be different than other guys, she wondered why the was and she hoped she would find out soon. He was just an interesting guy, and the two were really hitting it off. She couldn't remember the last time where she actually felt good when talking to a guy, it was weird but she was enjoying it. She wondered if he had felt the same to, just the way with how the conversation was going, he must have been enjoying it as much as her since he was smiling a lot and he was flirting a lot as well. She knew there was something between them. She knew that if the two ever did get serious, not like she was thinking that far but if they did, then she would have to tell him she was a witch. There was nothing scary about that of course since witches didn't have that pointy nose or warts everywhere. She just did magic, something that had been used for centuries. Although, she was still scared because he could think she was crazy but when she did do a spell he may just run off. Which was why she wasn't gonna let her heart fully open. She didn't know how he would feel about her doing spells and all that fun stuff, but at some point she'd find out, if the two continued to talk. She just wanted everything to go smoothly. Who knew maybe it would be the opposite and he would find her being a witch really cool or just wouldn't care. "I'm not freaked," she told him honestly. It was a religion, it was like someone being christian. "But I definitely didn't expect that to be your faith," she told the man. "It's interesting though, what made you turn to that?" She asked him curiously. He couldn't have gotten it from a family member, he must have made the choice to follow that religion. Buddhism was interesting, it was all about being calm and enjoying life, she could see why Kyle would want to use it. It made sense to her to be honest, and she wasn't freaked out at all. She wondered what people were, they were such jerks for freaking it considering it was nothing serious. It wasn't like he was plotting to kill people by using that religion. She just didn't understand some people sometimes. So he would open to her, at some point that is. That actually made her happy, the mysterious boy trusting her with his secrets. "Yeah, I'd like that," she told the man with a smile. "It's not like I need to know now and threatening you to tell me or else I'll die," she added. When he was ready to share whatever it was then she would listen and be there for him, if the two lasted of course. She didn't know what the future had in store for the two but she was excited and nervous to find out, she was hoping everything would be fine and everything would go smoothly, but knowing her luck, something bad would happen because she was Courtney Atwood and nothing ever went right, she accepted that though and she wasn't going to complain about it. "Keep doing what you're doing and I'll forever be smiling," she told him. "You've made me smile more than I have in a month," she said and the girl was actually being honest. Sure, she talked to her family and her co-workers and she did smile at them, but it was a fake smile because she wasn't that happy girl. Kyle was genuinely making her smile and that was what she loved, he was the first to make her really smile in a long time. She was trying to hint at that but wasn't sure if it was working. She thought it was, she just wanted him to know that him coming up to her really made her day, well year, if that seemed cling or desperate then she couldn't do anything about it, it was just how she felt. "A guy who knows how to wear tights," she told him almost biting her bottom lip. He was definitely a sport guy, which she really liked. "Do you still see your dad?" She asked him curiously. She hoped him and his dad didn't have a fight or anything, it seemed like he hadn't seen him in a while considering what he said about watching football with him, that or they just haven't watched football together for a while. "Would it?" She said with a smile. "Well then Kyle, I'll see you when your next game is," she said with a smile. "And I'll of course be rooting for you just without the pom poms," she said jokingly. She would love to see him play and see how he did on the field, it would be pretty hot plus she knew she would have a good time. The woman rolled her eyes and laughed, "Of course, the 'eh,' she then laughed, he was just so cute and she loved the way he said it, he knew he meant no harm. "New Mexico? Pretty far from Richmond, Any reason why you left?" She asked the man. The girl once again laughed, "Seems like you and Buddha go way back," she said with a wink as she led him inside the apartment. "Well, this is it," she said, god maybe she should have cleaned today. It wasn't messy or anything but it felt messy to her, and she still had a few boxes that needed to be unpacked. "Do you want a tour of the house before we go to the kitchen? Or are you fine from here?" She asked the man wondering why she was being so open with him, but he made her feel comfortable and she was okay with somewhat letting him into her life. All I have to do,Is think of me and I have peace of mind. tag; Kyle words; 1030 wearing; This! credits; template by delilahh @ CAUTION! notes; YEAH like honestly...their first date is gonna be the cutest thing ever! Kyle really wanted to get to know her better. In fact, he didn't think there was anything else he wanted more right now then to get to know Courtney better. He didn't even want to reunite with his friends as much as he wanted to get to know her better, and that was saying something as he missed his friends dearly and wanted to be with them so bad again one day. Liz, Max, Michael, Isabel, Maria, they were his family, just like his father, and he missed all of them equally. He felt a little guilty and selfish for wanting Courtney more then them, but he couldn't help it she was amazing.
He wanted to be with Courtney so much that Kyle knew for sure, without a shadow of a doubt that he wanted to tell her everything. About Aliens, and Roswell and how he is an alien now, or at least has the alien powers, he wasn't sure if he was considered a true alien or not, but he at least got the powers. About how they had to run from the FBI and he hasn't seen any of them in 5 years. Everything, Kyle wanted to tell Courtney everything, not right now, he didn't want to scare her off and make her think he was a loon or something, but sooner rather then later, he will.
"Well, in high school, I got shot and nearly died and it was a really stressful time for me, so I took it up to deal with everything, you know." Kyle told her honestly, though he did leave out a few huge details, it was still sort of the truth. Don't get him wrong, High School was the best time of his life, despite everything that happened, and Kyle never wanted to forget about it. That didn't change the fact that it was life altering heavy deep stuff he had to deal with during that time, like finding out your ex girlfriend was dating an alien by the name of Maxwell Evans. Who wouldn't freak?
He couldn't believe that she wanted to know all of his secrets and mysteries. "I want to know all about you as well, if I am allowed that is." Kyle told Courtney honestly. He wondered if she wanted to tell him all of her secrets as well. It wasn't like she didn't have any. Sure none of them would be as earth shattering as his were, but still he had to know. He liked her to much already not to know everything about her. "So you think that is a fair deal? Sooner or later we just tell each other everything?" Kyle asked Courtney, hoping that she would say yes and that she thought it was a fair deal.
Kyle pondered if telling Courtney, bringing her into his crazy dangerous life was the right thing to do. On the one hand, he was probably wanted by the FBI still, and he was half alien or something like that with strange powers, and it might be to much for her and freak her out, and put her life in danger. Kyle couldn't handle if she got into trouble because of him. On the other hand, he was tired of being alone and he wanted nothing more then to share everything with Courtney, she was the only girl really in 5 years that has been worthy to find out the whole truth from him, and that was a big deal.
"Well that's a shame, as it means not everyone gets to see your smile." He told her truthfully. "But on the other hand, I feel truly blessed and special to be able to make you smile, it must be my special gift or something." Kyle told her with a smile of his own. It felt really good to know that she enjoyed his company so much that it made her smile more. It was like the ultimate seal of approval for him as he was hoping to become her boyfriend at this point, and many girls say they dig guys who can make them laugh and smile a lot. So he was on the right track with her at least.
The way she bit her lip was so dang adorable. Kyle almost couldn't handle it. He didn't know if she knew he noticed it or not, but he did, and he wanted to see her do it again. He briefly thought about the fact that he was still a virgin at 25 and if that would make her freak out or not. But the thought left his mind when she asked him about his father. He shook his head no. "I haven't seen him since I left Roswell." He told her honestly. "I really miss him." He added, great, one moment he was thinking about his virginity being intact, now he was thinking about how he missed his father so bad.
She then told him that she would see his next game and cheer for him. Kyle blushed again lightly at this. "Well I hope I hit 4 home runs that day for you." Kyle told her with a smile, trying to forget about the image of her in a cheerleading outfit and pom poms. He wouldn't be able to get that thought out of his mind if he lingered on it to long. He was a guy, he couldn't help it. She then asked him if there was a reason why he left New Mexico, there was, but he couldn't exactly come out and say he left because he is an alien now could he?
"I left to pursue my dream of becoming a baseball player." He settled on. Which it wasn't a complete lie, as he would have to leave New Mexico at some point if he wanted to become a pro player, but it wasn't the complete truth. "Yeah, Buddha and I are like best bros." Kyle told her with a smile. He looked around her house as they entered it. "You have a really nice place, way better then my place, though I guess that is an unfair comparison as I am staying at the motel." He told her honestly. She then asked him if he would like a tour and he nodded.
"Sure that would be awesome. Maybe it will give me some inspiration for my own place as soon as I am able to find one I like." He told her with a smile. He really did like her house and it was clear that she was at least partially successful in the business world. She must be really smart and talented. "I like your place. It fits you, a little chaotic, but really nice and beautiful." He said, meaning it as a complete compliment. He wondered if she would take it that way or not, but that is how he meant it in this moment.

I don't want to be, Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
Kyle was actually making the girl happy, happier than she'd ever been or has been for a while. He was just such a sweet guy and she wondered why she was getting so lucky all of a sudden. She remembered people telling her that she shouldn't go looking for a guy because when she least expected it, it would happen. It seemed as if everyone was right, she had never thought she would bump into some guy and hit it off so well, it just surprised her. And the fact that he wasn't trying to hook-up with her or anything was pretty great also, he was talking to her and that's what he wanted, to get to know her first, not her body. She did want to go out on a date with the man, she wasn't going to be the one to ask him though, since that would be weird and awkward, plus the fact that there would be a chance where he would say no or not show up. She was hoping he'd ask her at some point, if he wanted to get to know her more he asked then that was perfectly fine, the girl could wait. She didn't want to think that far ahead though, she just wanted to enjoy herself right now with this funny and cute guy. He honestly had the whole package, if he was a nice guy who was boring then that would be her having bad luck, same goes with, if he was a jerk and could be funny or boring. She was just a lucky girl today apparently, which surprised her and she didn't want her luck to end either. "What? Really?" She said really shocked. She couldn't believe he was shot, she wondered how that ended up happening, she wasn't going to ask him since it could have been traumatizing. "Thank god you're still alive, well in this case Buddha...but wow," she said still trying to take it in. He almost died as well, a man so sweet and gentle and would have left this world...that would have been really unfair, it was a good thing he survived. "I'm glad you survived though, or else we wouldn't be here today with you helping me," she said with a smile. God, if he wasn't there then she would have still been struggling and would have probably bought more stuff which would have made her struggle more. Plus she wouldn't have met him, and he was really amazing so far. "Of course! I want you to know everything about me," she told him with a small smile seeming eager which she didn't mean to be. "Fairest deal I've ever had," she told the man. She would be alright with telling him about how she was a witch and how she knew she was one, give him her family history as well. "Just one thing...we need to pinky swear," she told him with a big smile on her face. "And I'm totally being serious right now," she stuck out her pinky finger waiting for the boy to do it. He probably thought she was weird for doing this and he may not want to see her again as she seemed crazy or something but she was enjoying herself and she thought she would do this little thing, maybe to try and be cute or something, she didn't really know what she was doing. "I guess you do have a special gift," once again smiling. "I can't stop smiling for some reason," wait did she just say that out loud? Great, she could have just been seen as a happy person but now he knows that she does have feelings for him. They were definitely developing, she knew that it had only been a short amount of time but he was a really great guy, and there would always be that attraction when first talking to someone. She liked smiling though, she forgot how great it was, smiling just made her happier, so he was definitely doing a good thing right now, she wondered if he knew that. She hoped he did, because he was doing a remarkable thing right now. All because of him she felt good about herself at this moment. "Wow, that must be a long time then," she said with a frown. She couldn't believe he hadn't seen his father since he left. But Courtney couldn't really say anything about that considering she hadn't seen her family for quite sometime, then again the last time she saw them was probably a year ago, life has just been so hectic with her being busy with her job. She was hoping to see them this year if she could. "Why don't you see him?" She asked the boy curiously. If he missed him that much then maybe after his baseball he could go back to Roswell and see how his father was doing, he should make that change and go there to visit. he deserved to be happy and if seeing his father was what made him a little happy then he should go soon but come back to Richmond of course. "As long as you're hitting the ball or running I'll be fine," she told him kind of hinting that she wanted to see him sweat, and see his muscles. He looked pretty fit actually, she wouldn't complain if one day he decided to be shirtless, she'd love the sight of that. Maybe one day she would see him shirtless if the two hung out and went swimming or to the beach. Once again she was thinking of the future and she needed to stop that, she didn't need to think of it, she needed to think of the present. She wondered how good he was though, he must be pretty good from what she gathered and she hoped that his team would win, she also didn't want to cheer too loud as she knew that embarrassed some people but the girl could be competitive. "It's a good thing you stuck to your dream and did something about it, some people give up way to easily," she said to him. It was true, people usually weren't determined enough to obtain their dream or they settled for something else. "Why thank you," she said flipping her hair with her hand since she was proud at what she accomplished. "A motel? That must be uncomfortable, is it at least a nice one?" She asked him. "If you need help finding an apartment, I can always help, if you want," she said not wanting to intrude on his life or anything. "If I didn't know any better I'd think you just complimented me Kyle," she said with a big smile on her face. "You're such a sweet guy," she told him honestly. She then walked him around the house. "Well, these are random paintings I've gotten, then there's the living room with the tv and couch, nothing to fancy," she said as she showed him the couch and so on. "I guess I'll show you my bedroom, here it is, nothing special of course well...besides a few things but you can see those later," she said feeling weird showing him everything. "Now to the kitchen," once they got there she she took a bit of a breather not sure why she was nervous. "And here's the kitchen, what would you like to drink? Coffee, tea, juice, water?" She asked the man. All I have to do,Is think of me and I have peace of mind. tag; Kyle words; 1, 234 wearing; This! credits; template by delilahh @ CAUTION! notes; Right? He could tell she was enjoying her time with him. Kyle could tell that she was having a good time even though they were just walking. That made him really glad that Courtney could feel that way on their first meeting, and it made him wonder how she would feel on their second and third and fourth and so on meetings. If she would allow him to that is. Her being happy made him happy and for a few moments, ever since he met her, he forgot all about the stuff that was going on in his life. Living in a new town, missing his friends and family, she made it all better and it felt really really good.
He honestly didn't know if he had it in him to ask her out. She was so beautiful and sweet and funny and smart, and he was kind of intimidated. What if she said no and laughed at him? That would be a bad laugh from her, not a good one. There was a difference between liking talking to him as a friend and wanting to be something more. Kyle didn't know if he could take that kind of rejection from her, but he had to try, later tonight if everything goes ok and they really hit it off, then Kyle will ask her out and find out if he had a real shot with her, he really really wished that he did though.
"Yeah, it was scary." Kyle told Courtney honestly. He has never been more scared then that day he got shot, he honestly thought Max was gonna let him die, but Max is to honorable to just let Kyle pass away, even if he was a jerk to him. "Yeah, it was really a life changing experience." Kyle told Courtney, to say the least. It changed his life forever, in good ways and in bad. But that was all in the past, he was here in this moment right now and as much as he wanted to think about the future with Courtney, he wanted to be here with her in the present and that is what mattered right now.
He smiled at her when she told him that she was glad he survived. It meant a lot to him in that moment, as it meant that she knew if he didn't survive then she wouldn't of met him, and she would of hated never meeting him. "I am happy I survived to, as if I didn't, I wouldn't be here with you today." Kyle told her honestly. He liked being around her. She then agreed with him that she wanted him to know everything about her as well and that it was the fairest deal ever. He nodded in agreement, glad that she wanted to share with him as much as he wanted to share with her.
She then told him that they needed to pinky swear on it. Kyle smiled, thinking it was the most adorable thing ever and maybe, just maybe it can become their thing and they can do it every time they come to an agreement on something. "Sure, pinky swear." He said to her, taking her pinky into his. He couldn't help but smile a bit. "You know this is the sweetest moment of my life." He told her honestly. He wasn't trying to tease her, he was just being honest. He actually really enjoyed it and he didn't know why. "Maybe it can be our thing?" Kyle asked her, letting her know his plan to make it their thing.
"That's a good thing, I know I make you smile, but do you think you can take me seriously if I were to ask you a serious question?" Kyle asked her, making her smile and laugh was one thing, but if he couldn't be honest and serious with her on certain things, then their relationship, if they ever have one, would be really strained. Like if she can't take him serious, then how can he ask her out on a real date? Or ask her hand in marriage, not that Kyle was thinking that far ahead, but what if she just laughs at him if and when he does ask? That wouldd suck and kill him if it happened.
Don't get him wrong, he loved that he could make Courtney happy, even though it seemed it was rare for her, but there was more to a relationship then laughter and joy. He had that down pat, but was worried about the rest of it. He blushed again as she basically said she wanted to see him run and sweat and swing the bat. "Good thing I hit the gym a lot, otherwise I won't look very good doing it." Kyle told her thoughtfully, realizing that she basically admitted she liked his body, from what she could see of it anyways. He nodded when she told him it was a good thing he stuck to his dream.
"Yeah, it was hard at times, but I was determined not to give up." Kyle replied. Courtney then thanked him for his compliment on her house and he nodded. "Your welcome, I really do like it." He told her honestly, wanting to make sure she knew he was being honest. He loved the way she flipped her hair and couldn't wonder what it would be like to run his fingers through her hair, but he quickly pushed the thought out of his mind. "Its ok, its not a home, but it doesn't suck." He told Courtney when she asked if it was at least a nice motel. It was fine for what it was, but he wanted more.
"Wow, cute, smart, sweet, funny, good at fashion and business, and now a real estate agent? You really are the total package aren't you?" Kyle asked her with a smile. He didn't mind her offer, he liked it really. "That's because I did." Kyle told her when she asked him if he complimented her. He smiled at her, glad that she took it as a compliment and didn't think it wasn't one, cause he meant it as one. "Thanks, It means a lot coming from you." He told Courtney when she told him he was a really sweet guy. It was the truth that it meant a lot coming from her, as she wouldn't like about something like that.
Courtney then showed him around her place and he followed and listened intently. He found it a little awkward that he was looking at all her private things, her bed, her room, her bathroom. But she didn't seem to mind and he just liked spending time with her and he nodded. "Thanks for the tour." He said smiling at her, he was really quite thirsty now and they arrived in this kitchen and he smiled at her as she asked him what he wanted to drink. "Juice will be fine." Kyle answered her question, and waited for Courtney to get him the drink. He wondered if he should ask her out right now or not, but was unsure if it was the right time or not.

I don't want to be, Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
She still couldn't believe how lucky she was right now. It was like god had given her a guy, she didn't believe in a god but if there was one then she'd have to applaud him. She was still a bit paranoid though, the guy could get annoyed at her and start ignoring her, or he could end up being a jerk. She then realized that, that wouldn't be happening considering how sweet he was, and it wasn't like he was pulling an act to get into her bed. If he was trying he would have been trying a lot harder and would have been going on with the flirts and all that, he was of course flirting but not in the type of way where he just wanted her for one night. He was the type where he wanted that relationship and she could see that which made her glad because it meant that there was potential between the two. Courtney hated those type of guys, play with a girls' heart then leave them. She wasn't generalizing or anything, but most of the guys she had been with had done that to her. She had a bit of a wall up and she didn't want it to be there since he was a really nice guy and she wanted to share the real her. But what if the real her wasn't enough wasn't enough for him? That was what she worried about the most, she was just afraid of it all. Having feelings and taking a risk, it was weird to her considering it had been so long. But she would just take this day-by-day and not stress about it, there was no need to stress. The girl needed to relax and just smile at the man and have a wonderful conversation with him. God, she just got stressed for no reason, clearly being alone had an affect on her. "Well, you're strong for moving on from it," she told him with a smile. She had no idea how she would deal if she had been shot, she'd probably try and do some spell or something, probably wouldn't succeed considering she would have been in high school. He was a survivor, and he moved past a traumatic experience, that took a lot and she admired him for that. He probably didn't want to talk about his experience though, who would? It was something he would have to live with, the fact that he had almost died, god she could only imagine how upsetting that would be . It was the girl's turn to blush. Why did he have to be so sweet? He was literally the definition of a perfect guy, she really didn't want to mess this up, she couldn't, and she wouldn't. "Yeah, and that would definitely be a downer," she told him with a nod. It wasn't like she would be down considering she wouldn't have met him, but she would have been lonely and what if she met some other guy and dated him for the wrong reasons? Kyle was different, if they were to date then there would be a reason, and she was just glad that he survived the school shooting, none of it was his fault, and it seemed he knew that which was why he was able to move on probably. The two put their pinkies together and his was much bigger than her's and really warm, in that moment she wanted to hold his hand but knew she couldn't, she just smiled as they did it. "How come?" She asked curiously. Why was it the sweetest moment? Did something happen? "And yeah, I'd really like that," she told him with a smile. She could see them pinky swearing over compromises and other stuff as well. It was just cute how he actually did it with her, what a great guy. She liked how it was their thing, and he basically indicated how they would see each other again even though he indicated it before, it was just nice knowing that the two would continue talking as she loved talking to him, he was fun and really easy to talk to. "Well trust me, you'll look just fine on the field," she told reassured him basically ruining her subtly with how hot she truly thought he was. He had the muscles, the short hair, and amazing eyes, what feature was there not to love? "Yeah, of course, I mean look at what I'm wearing," she told the man. "I take myself really seriously and life, but I also know how to have a bit of fun," she told the man. "Do you have a serious question for me right now?" She asked him curiously. She giggled, "Yeah, do you always workout?" She asked him wondering what his schedule was like. Not that she was being clingy, she just wondered. "I like a man who's determined," she said a bit flirtatiously. She was of course being obvious but when was she not obvious? it was just how she was and in a way she liked it because then Kyle could get the hint that she was developing something for him and it was coming fast, she didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing, she would have to decide later tonight when he left, although it would be weird when he left because she was really enjoying herself. The girl blushed, he was really good with his words. "Coming from the guy who's sweet, funny, athletic, and caring, I'm not sure if I can top that," she told him with a smile. "But thank you Kyle, you're a really great guy," she honestly told him as she wanted him to know. He was an amazing guy and he should be recognized for that, she had hoped his friends reminded him. She can't believe his ex let him go, such a nice guy, she wondered if Kyle was heart-broken, if he was then that would be another thing that the two would have in common and relate to. She hoped not, as he deserved to be happy and he did deserve to have a girl as she knew he would treat the girl right, Courtney was hoping it was her though, that would be nice and she would just be a really happy girl. "Anytime, you're always welcome into the amazing Atwood apartment," she told but of course she was joking. The girl never lied and she wasn't really cocky. "Okay," she said as she got a fruit blend she had made, she hated concentrated juice. She poured a glass for the both of them and carried the cups to the table. "You can come over here if you want," she said with another smile. She sat down in a chair and took a sip of her drink. "Thank you again, for helping me today, and just talking to me," she sounded like a lonely pathetic girl. "I'm sorry, I sound so whiny," she said taking another sip to shut up. She sometimes rambled which probably wasn't a good thing as some people weren't a fan of talkative girls. She couldn't help it though, she had a lot on her mind and she usually wanted to get it out. All I have to do,Is think of me and I have peace of mind. tag; Kyle words; 1220 wearing; This! credits; template by delilahh @ CAUTION! notes; You only took two days don't worry about it and SAME like god, they are adorable and the way they feel about each other is too cute<3 ugh one of my fave couples. <3333 [/blockquote]
