----------------------- ----------------------- Connor had spoken to his father and all that awkward stuff but what was he going to do now? He had no idea how to form a bond with people in the house as he felt weird being there for some reason. He kept telling himself that he would adapt soon but it would take a lot longer than that. He had always been the type to take things slow when it came to forming friends, he hated getting into a friendship quickly which was why when he was in a relationship it went extremely slow and the reason for that was because he needed to trust those people if he was to form some type of relationship with them. It was the same with his dad he had to trust him and he finally did which was why their conversation that night went extremely well.
Connor was living at the motel because he didn't want to intrude into the house since it wasn't his at all, but still there was no sign of this girl Buffy. He had hoped that he would run into her by visiting the house but it seemed as if the girl was never home. He asked one of the girl's at the house and apparently she had her own apartment so it could be anytime he could see the girl which sucked but he could deal with it, she could just be a mystery for now. He knew his father wanted to introduce them so he would wait on that...sadly. He just wanted to see what girl made Angel fall in love and wanted to know what her personality was like.
He decided to go out to some grill that was in this town and check it out as he had a lot of thinking to do, he couldn't drink alcohol of course since he wasn't even legal age yet, he couldn't believe he had to wait until he was twenty-one, what was the point of it? He could magically drink when he was of age but that was only two years away so why did it matter so much? It wasn't like he was going to change, he would still be the same guy and look the same so really age was just a number to Connor. But he didn't think of it too much since it would just annoy him that he couldn't do what he wanted when he was fully an adult.
He arrived at the place by walking and sat down at a table since he wasn't old enough to go at the bar well he could but all he could get would be a coke or something, he would just order from the menu with the money his parents gave him. He knew he would have to get a job soon so then he could support himself rather than depending on others which was good, he would be able to deal with it. Maybe he should apply here, they were hiring after all but he didn't have a resume with him so he would definitely print one out when he got the chance. He knew it would be best to get a job now rather than waiting until he was broke because that wouldn't work out well as he had to do laundry and all that fun stuff, and he had to go to school as well. He just shook his head and sighed as he looked at the menu.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Letting the warm water fall on her face felt so good, Willow had needed this after working out at the gym. It wasn’t something she did that much which was why she was trying to do it a lot more, Buffy had recommended that it would be good for her. Which she was probably right Willow needed to work more a bit on her body and a little less on her magic. Other wise she will have to stop eating her midnight sweets, even though she needed to stop doing that all together as well. Getting out of the shower willow toweled off and changed in to something cute but comfy quickly before making here way over to her bed to sit, She needed to do some more reading on some new spell. She had been working on something new that no witch had ever done before. But then again that might be because its known to be imposable. But that was Willow always trying to learn to do the imposable and make it possible, but as she was sitting there she started to get a craving. She started to have a craving for a something, and she knew she needed to eat something good for her. So she decide to go to a place that she knew had great salads. So the witch put her magic book Aside and begin to make her way down the stairs, making her way out the door and into her car. So She begin to drive to Pete's Bar and Grill to go get something good. She had made her way there now looking around for a place to park, it seemed that the place was packed. She had not picked the best of times to come at all. But she was hungry so oh well, going in she quickly found herself a place to sit. Taking a seat she begin to look at the menu hoping to find something to eat. But as she sat there she looked over noticing someone that look familiar. “Is that Connor?” She said to herself. “It is Connor.” She then got up making her way over to him. “Hey you I didn’t know you where here? How you been? “ She asked going in for a hug. Last time that Willow saw him was when she came to L.A to help with his dad, Angel had lost his soul yet again. So the called the one person that they knew could restore and get it back. “So what you been up to anything new?” She asked while letting up from there hug. ----------------------- ----------------------- He was perfectly fine with staying at the boarding house although he did feel a bit awkward about it, but he would adapt at some point, it wasn't like he was his old self. He just didn't know what to think, would Buffy be alright with Connor staying? He had the woman was remarkable and the best slayer out there but Connor was born from the woman she had hated so what if she hated him? That would be immature of course but he couldn't help but think that, she hated Darla which he didn't get why besides her being cruel...still Darla was his mother so he did have a soft spot for her, which he wished that wasn't the case but it was and he wanted to get to know her even though that was too late.
He sat there in the grill wondering what on earth he should do, was he supposed to try and make friends right now? He wanted those friends as he did like having people to talk to even though he could be a quiet guy sometimes, but he didn't want to risk their lives if he befriended them. Which was another reason why he was staying single because he didn't want whoever he dated to get hurt, it'd be on his him for the rest of his life and he wasn't prepared to deal with that. He would just have to keep doing what he was doing which was just get books and read them to entertain himself since he wasn't a fan of television, he just found television extremely fake although he did watch it from time to time depending on the show.
He noticed a red-head when she came up to him and the boy smiled finally seeing a friendly face. He had known Willow from the last time they had met which was when he was going to kill his father, which wasn't the best meeting but it happened and he couldn't erase that. "I got in about a few days ago, I'm actually staying at the boarding house...if that's okay, I'm not sure how Buffy will feel about it," he told the girl honestly hoping Buffy would be alright with it, if not then he would just go back to the motel or just get a dorm in the college he was going to. "And don't worry I'm not crazy anymore," he said trying to make a joke but it wasn't really the best...he wasn't really a funny person.
"I'm just figuring out school stuff," he told the woman. He knew what he was gonna go into but he wasn't sure if it was the best thing to go into, maybe he would ask Willow for advice. "How have you been? We never...really got to talk the last time," he told the girl. The last time wasn't the best time and he felt bad for being so unstable. He didn't truly know Willow but he wanted to get to know her, she seemed like a really nice lady and extremely intelligent. Hopefully she didn't hold any grudges against the boy as everything was in the past and he was different now and he had hoped she saw that, his eyes were confident instead of lost and scared.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~She couldn’t believe it Angels Son here, it had been so long that Willow had seen him. He seemed like he was doing well didn’t really look any different, but Willow could so tell that he was Angels son. He had that resemblance to him, just the way he acted and moved. She wonder though why after all this time he was here? Last Willow heard he had not really been talking to him recently, she wondered why now he was coming here to stay after all this time. It seemed that he had been staying at the boarding house with them, which he was right about she wondered how Buffy felt about it too. Buffy was never a big fan of Darla so Willow could only imagine how she had to feel about her. “Well I’m ok with you staying there.” She told him with a smile. “And don’t worry Buffy may not love the idea at first but she will come around, I mean she always does. After all she is a good person like that.” She thought it was funny when he said that he wasn’t crazy anymore, Willow didn’t think he was crazy at all. Plus she wasn’t really around when he had been losing it. She had only heard stories about what had happened to him. “Well that’s nice I’m not crazy anymore ether.” She said with a giggle. “Long story.” “Well if you need any help with home work I’m your girl. I’m going to school some myself so.“ Said Willow It was nice to hear that he was doing well in school, Willow was getting into some classes as well. She was going to the school here that was in town hoping to finish the school that she never got to, wanting to get more going to an education. He asked Willow how she had been when really fine just confused, plus a lot has happened since the last they spoke. But it was going to take a lot of time to tell him all about that. “I’m doing ok working on some new spells you know the usual, and I met someone new in my life.” Said the witch. “So anything else new with you? I mean what has all happened since I last saw you? I mean there as to be a reason that you are here now all the sudden, everything ok? “ Not that she wasn’t happy to see him but she knew there had to be a reason that all the sudden now he was talking to Angel again. ----------------------- ----------------------- It escaped his mind that Willow was residing in Richmond for some reason, he just didn't expect it. Out of all the people he had met when he wasn't at his best he was actually okay with Willow even though he knew she was a witch, but for some reason that never scared him. Willow just reminded him of someone and he didn't know who, maybe it was his mother...well adoptive mother, she was always so calm and nothing really scared her and she was strong, he could see that in Willow as well. He was glad that she was here, he didn't want to be all alone in this town even though he did have his father, but he wanted actual friends.
"Thanks Willow, that means a lot," he said with a small smile. "And she does seem like a good person but would she really want the son of Darla to be going into the fridge and getting cereal?" He asked the red-head. "Highly unlikely," he didn't really know Buffy. He had heard she was a really good person, but everyone had their flaws and their jealousy, she was competing against his mother for Angel's affection even though Angel only had eyes on Buffy. But still, Connor was Darla's, he was a piece of her and it meant that Darla was't fully gone out of this world and will roam as long as he did.
Connor chuckled along with her as she said she wasn't crazy anymore. "Everyone has a story," he said knowing how it felt when someone tried to intrude on his life and figure out who he truly was. He was happy to have someone he could relate to though, he was a bit curious to know how Willow went crazy but obviously wouldn't ask as he would respect her wishes. "Oh really? Well, you wouldn't happen to know anything about law would you?" He asked the girl wanting another person's advice on the major he was taking. "I took it...but I don't know if I should I mean it's one way for me to help people in this world," he said, he always wanted to be involved with saving people, it was just who he was and he would continue to be that person.
Connor raised an eyebrow when Willow had said she had met someone new in her life, he remembered someone saying Willow was into girls so he made sure not to say guy once he spoke, "Who's the lucky lady?" He said hoping he was right and just didn't hear whomever said it to him wrong, it was most likely Cordelia. "Everything's fine...I'm not sure if you heard but Angel erased my memories so I could live a normal life with a normal family," he told the woman. "But I got those memories back and I tried to go back into the world of the unknown...but I can't go back and pretend everything's okay when I know there are people dying out there, I want to help," he said hoping she out of all people would understand. Angel didn't understand at first but it seemed like he was slowly understanding, hopefully. "This place seems different than the last, more mysterious," he said wondering what secrets it held. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~“No problem Connor, what are friends for.“ Said Willow with a smile. She was happy that she could make him feel better, she didn’t like to see him down and out like this. Willow Then giggled at what Connor said and the way he said it, she didn’t mean to but she guessed he was right Buffy wouldn’t feel so highly about it. But at the same time she hoped that she would come around. Yes Darla was a mean vampire that disserved all that happened to her, and Connor has had his bad moments. But that didn’t mean that he was a bad person all around. Willow could see in him that he was a good hearted person. After all he was Angels son so that had be something, even though with out a soul he could be a pretty scary vampire. But other then that Angel is a good hearted person and a good friend, so that’s got to mean something for Conner. “Don’t worry like I said we need to work on Buffy but she will come around.” Said the witch. He was right everyone does have a story that was for sure, but this wasn’t one that Willow always liked to tell. It was a time in her life and she is not happy nor proud of, it was something that she never wanted to do or have happen again. “Yeah I do have a story one that I’m not happy about, lets just say I let the dark magic take over me a little to much. Which made me turn on the people I love and almost kill the people I care for.” Willow then looked down in shame not really wanting to admit it. “Actually I kind of did ripped a guys skin clean right off.” She liked when she heard that he was taking Law It was not a easy course to take at all that was for sure, but it was a good one. “I can help a bit with it but I know one person that’s really good with that. You need to meet my friend Sam Winchester, I heard that back before he was a hunter he took it. At lest I think that’s what his brother told me.” Said Willow. “I think its great that you are taking it Connor I think it will really suit you.” Willow blushed when he asked who the lucky lady was, just thinking about her put a smile on the witches face. “Well her name is Lenore and she is a really great person, well a vampire but you so need to meet her.” Said Willow. It all seemed so crazy about what happened, hearing that his memories were wiped. It was good to hear that they were all starting to come back to him. “Well it seems like you have been through and lot, it really great that you want to help. You know I think that’s just what you need to tell Buffy.” She said with a smile. Word Count- 510 Tagged- Conner Outfit- Click to see Willow’s outfitNote- Love this thread! ~~~~~~~~~~~

----------------------- ----------------------- Friends? Willow thought of him as a friend? That actually made Connor really happy, he never knew Willow felt that way. For some reason he thought the girl had hated him or just felt uncomfortable around him since he did some bad things, he even tried to kill Cordelia, a normal human being who was in a coma, god he was a monster before. He was still ashamed of that part and it depressed him to think about it but he tried not to because he knew his father wanted him to be happy and to live life, not to fret on the past and he would...it was just hard sometimes. "I hope so, I'll make sure to stay on her good side," he said with a smile. He wanted Buffy to like him.
"Wow, that sucks," he told the girl. He could relate, hurting the people that he cared for, he had hurt Cordelia and even though he had hated his father he did care for him to some certain extent. He shouldn't have been so horrible in the past but it was the past and he should forget about it. "Seems like you know how to control it now though," he said considering she was still here and still the sweet woman he knew. "You ripped a guy's skin off? That must have really hurt him...but hey, at least we're on the same boat,"he said trying to lighten the mood. "I put my father in a vault and sunk him in the ocean for several months," he hated himself for doing that, he essentially killed his father over and over again, god he was such a horrible person back then.
"Sam Winchester?" He wondered who that exactly was and if he'd be seeing him in school then. "And he hunts? I didn't think we had successful hunters," he said surprised. He just assumed all ordinary hunters didn't know what they were doing which ended them up being dead or in danger. "And thank you Willow, I really want this career, if I don't get it I don't really think anything else will suit me besides a police officer or something," he told the woman. "I just hope I have the time to actually go to school," he hoped that nothing big was going to happen as he needed school and to have his normal life but as well have his supernatural life.
When he had heard she was dating a vampire he tilted his head but he knew not to judge, he had no right to. If Willow thought Lenore was a good person then good for her, it didn't mean Connor was going to trust Lenore, he'd keep his distance for now and make sure nothing bad happened, he had always had trust issues with demons, it was just who he was. "Well, I can't wait to," lying a bit, he did need to wait so he could get used to that idea as the only one he trusted was his father and that took a while. "Do you think she'll listen and like what I have to say?" He asked the girl curiously. "I don't want her thinking I'm intruding on your lives or anything when I should be back at home," he said a bit awkwardly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow could tell that he liked the sound of them being friends, she could see it in the smile he had on his face. Willow really could sense that Connor was a good hearted person which made the witch want to get to know him that much more. He had to be after all again he was the son of the nicest vampire Willow had ever met, so that had to mean something. Which was why Willow knows that at one point him and Buffy will make good friends. It just will take Buffy time to come around but she will, eventually. "Yeah staying on her good side sounds like a good idea to me." She said with a smile. " At lest for a while." He seemed in shock hearing what Willow had done to a guy, which it was now that she looks back on it she still can't believe she did it. She wishes so much that she could go and take it back, even though he did dissever what was coming to him. After all he took the love of Willow's life away from her, and no matter what Willow does she is never coming back. "Yeah I did rip someone skin off and I still feel so bad for it, I wish so much that I never would have went that nuts. But I couldn't help it I was mad, he killed the love of my life." Said Willow trying not to cry. Just when she though what she said was crazy Connor said one that really shocked the witch. "Did you really do that to him?" She said in shocked like tone of voice. "Wow why you do it?" She asked. "Wait was he soulless because then I understand you know." Willow could see Connor and him becoming really good friends, Sam just had that vibe when she met him. "Yeah he is a hunter but lets not make a big deal about that you know, like if you meet him. I'm sure I shouldn't be telling everyone what he does." "Said Willow She didn't know why he was so worried she could see him doing very well for himself. "Make time for school its important and I think you will do great. Like I said I can help with whatever you need, I loved being a tutor in school." Said Willow She could tell that Conner really wanted to help, it made Willow smile realizing how much he wanted to. "Don't worry I will help and try to talk to her, like I said she will have to come around she will just have to." Said the witch. "And no absolutely not you will not be going back home, Angel is family meaning you are so your home is with us." ----------------------- ----------------------- Connor needed friends, he needed friends he could trust and talk about the supernatural. He was glad Willow wanted to be his friend as he knew that he couldn't really make friends who were unaware of his world, he had to stick within the group because he didn't want to put anyone in danger. Connor didn't like having a guilty conscious but he was only human. "I will, I won't cause any trouble," he said with a slight head nod. He didn't want to cause trouble and get kicked out, he would be on his best behaviour, he had to be, he couldn't mess this up.
Everyone had done something bad in their life, maybe it was just human nature, he didn't really know and apart of him didn't care, yes he felt guilty for what he had done but he wasn't going to spend days and night wondering why life was unfair and put him through the things he was put through. Willow was put through a lo as well so it only made sense that she ripped his skin off. Losing the love of your live, that's got to be tough, he had never experienced it but he did feel for her. "Well, I may be a jerk for saying it but he did deserve what was coming to him, he killed the one person you were supposed to be with, and if he went to jail he would have probably been okay with that," he told the girl. At the end of the day a villain didn't want to die, they liked their live and wanted to keep it.
"He wasn't...soulless," he said frowning remembering that night. "I was unstable back then, not an excuse I know," it kind of upset him talking about it. "I just didn't trust him, and my fath-I mean Holtz who pretended to be my father made his assistant kill him so it would seem like Angel did," he said shaking his head. "He wanted me to hate Angel and he wanted Angel to die by my hands," he was glad he never killed Angel, there were many attempts but they always failed, which he was really glad about. "Yeah, don' worry I won't bring it up unless the topic does if I ever meet him," he said with a smile. He wanted to meet this Sam guy and wondered what he was like.
The boy smiled a great big smile when Willow had said that the boarding house was his home as well. "Thanks Willow, i do want to stay awhile," He told her honestly, he could get used to the place, everyone was nice and seemed to know what was going on although he would need his quiet space as he was still that kind of quiet guy so it could be hard unless he just talked to Willow and his father the whole time he was at the house, that could end up happening.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow thought it was so sweet that Connors didn't want to make trouble that he was going to try his best to do good, but at the same time she felt bad that he felt he needed to walk on egg shells. But Buff has that effect on people Sadly, she is good at scaring the hell out of them. But sometimes that effect is needed more times then Willow can remember. "Well we can make some trouble, the fun kind." She said with a smile. "Other wise things will never be fun for any of us." He was right he did deserve what was coming to him, but what Willow did was still a little over the top. She still didn't need to take it that far, plus Willow was not a killer. The Willow that went after Warren was not her, that was not something she would do. She was not a killer nor did she like hurting people, taking a life like that was not something she wanted to do. Buff knew that too which was why she stuck with her all the way through that, doing what ever she could with the gang to get her trough it all. "Yeah you are right he did deserve it, but it still hurts me knowing what I did. Taking to the extreme levels like that, plus I didn't just kill him I went so nuts I hurt the people I love most." Said the witch. "Which is why I never want to be like that ever again, I will die before I hurt the people I love again." Willow will never let it get that way again, all though she had a lot better control of her magic now then she did then. So it will be a lot harder for her to ever get that way again. She could tell that it killed Connors for all he did to his dad, but he couldn't help it sometimes we make mistakes, sometimes we trust the wrong people. It doesn't mean that Connors was a bad person, he was just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Its happened to the best of them all. "Well you didn't know who to trust because of Holtz so it wasn't your fault, plus given Angels past didn't help you know. I'm sure your dad knows that you were confused in that time and that you didn't mean to Connors." She said while placing her hand on his. She was happy to hear that he wanted to stay awhile, because she wanted him to. It was nice to have the gang all together like a big happy family, plus the more help at the boarding house the better. "Well that's good that you want to stay." Said the witch. "So what you plan on doing while in town, I mean I'm guessing you have seen your dad all ready then?" ----------------------- ----------------------- He just didn't know what he was going to do, he had already seen Angel and it was really awkward but...it felt good to see his father and the two had actually bonded. He had never thought that the two would have anything in common but they do which was weird, but they were blood related and Connor for some reason always forgot that. Maybe it was the fact that he hadn't been in his life for a while, and the fact Connor has been in a demon dimension for years. In the previous years he had seen his father as an enemy, acquaintance, and a friend but he was now finally seeing him as a dad, his dad. He couldn't imagine how awkward it would be with Buffy. The man chuckled, "Yeah, I do want to have fun...but my type of fun is reading books," he told the woman feeling a bit nerdy.
Connor had a hate of passion for guys who committed crimes or demons and vampires were evil... he didn't necessarily like the good kinds either as his father was an example, Angel was the only one he accepted now. He just couldn't trust them though, the demons and vampires, he wanted them to all die and even humans. If humans had the nerve to kill someone then they were monsters, plain and simple. They'd go to jail and that was it, they deserved to be punished and what Willow did to that guy, she punished him by killing him, it seemed like the guy didn't want to die since no one truly wants to die except for a select few. "I understand, hurting the people you love...it sucks," he said to the girl actually relating to her a lot. "Well, with great friends you'll be fine, I believe it and I know it," he told the girl with a smile on his young face.
"But still...apart of it is my fault," he told the woman with a frown. He would always blame himself for what he had done, nothing could ever change his mind and he knew that. He hated the way he felt guilty about it, he wanted to move on from it. "And I don't even know if I hate Holtz for what he had done to me and my dad...I mean Holtz did raise me so I'm not sure how to feel," he told the girl honestly finally admitting it out loud. He didn't know how to feel about that man, he was a bad father but then he had his good moments as well. "And he does understand...I just don't get why he forgave me so easily, he shouldn't have, he should have hated me for a long time," he told the woman. His father did kick him out but still, he cared for Connor even after what he had done.
"Yeah, he was the first one I saw when I came into this town actually," he told the woman. "It was nice," he told her with a smile. "I just plan on going to school and helping you guys fight whatever's out there," he said hoping she understood. "I want to help, and I wanna get to know all of you better...make friends," he said to her honestly. "And I have to meet my aunt," he said with a grin. "I wonder what she's like, is she like my dad?" He asked the woman. He wanted to know more about his aunt, he didn't really get to hear a lot when he was talking to Angel.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow couldn’t help but get excited when he said that for fun he read, that was something that Willow loved to do. It really was a good way not just to pass the time but learn new things, which was something this witch loved to do, that and surfing the net. “I love to read anything that’s good, anything new to learn and look up I’m game.” Said Willow. “So what kind of thing do you like to read, right now I’m reading Harry Potter. We just watched all the movies so I figured why not you know, they really are good books. So just so you know Connor nothing could ever be Nerdy to me” Willow couldn’t believe that she was talking about this, this really was a hard subject for the witch to speak about. But for some reason it really was easy to talk to Connor, she felt like she could really open up to him. Which reminded her of a certain someone that she could always talk to, always open up about anything, and he was always there to listen. Willow wondered if Conner knew just how much he was just like his dad. “I have to ask Connor, do you know how much like your dad you really are?” She asked with a smile. “I can talk to you just like I could him, I like that about you.” She hoped that would make Connor happy to hear, seeing that he was worried about how everyone would take to him. But ether way with what happens he had a for sure friend in Willow. Willow understood how he felt it was hard to be mad at someone that raised him, but at the same time he didn’t need to be worried about Angel. “Look you will always be upset for what you did, I mean I will never forgive myself for what I have done. I will never forget about it, what I did is a part of what I am what I have become. I’m so powerful since then, which has helped us in saving the world.” She explained. “But it is true time does heal and friends and family will forgive if they love you. I know that everyone cares so much about you, your dad loves you more then you will ever know so that’s why he forgave you so easily. He could never hate you. Connor it will get easier dealing with all these feelings I promise. Just know I’m here whenever you need me.” She loved hearing that Connor was going to be going to school, wanting to help out the gang as much as he could. It put a big smile on the witches face knowing that there family was going to get bigger. “Well I’m glad to hear it” Said Willow. She then smiled when he asked about Kathy, she had forgotten about the fact that there was more family he had not met yet. “Well she can be like your dad, caring, sweet, shy, but she also can have a bit of a mean streak in her. Like lets just say if she don’t you, you don’t go near her.” Said Willow. “She is very shy and don’t trust no one, but I cant blame her with all she had been through. ----------------------- ----------------------- The two actually related to each other pretty well. If anything, it was like Willow was his aunt, both loved books and dove into them right away. Connor just loved the way they were written and why the author chose to use that type of writing and plot as well. "Yeah, those are really good books, and I'm into any book to be honest, as long as they aren't stupid then I can read them," he told her honestly, it was just the way he was. He loved the smell of them and being able to flip through the pages, people preferred the internet but he was a lot better with the books. It didn't really open, it is a more.
The man shook his head, "No, I've never been told that," he told her with a hidden smile. He liked being compared to his father, he wanted to be like him, nice and just able to help whenever. "Thank you Willow, that means a lot," she told the woman. "I guess I had to get something from him. What else did he do? He questioned, he wanted answers, he hated having questions and he knew he should be asking his father but it was nice seeing another person's perspective.
"Thank you Willow, i really needed to hear that," he told the girl. "Sometimes I just feel like I'm going crazy because of all of the guilt I have," he told the woman with a frown. He didn't want to feel guilty anymore, he wanted to get better and not think of the past but apparently that was hard to do, he had wished there was a way to. Maybe he should ask his father for help or ask him about it all so then it was some type of closure with the past and then Connor could finally forgive himself for what he had done. "I'm here for you also, whatever it may be but I might not be experienced with whatever advice you need," he told her hoping she'd understand.
"I wonder when I'll meet her," he said with a smile. "She seems like an interesting type of character," he told the woman. "Do you thin she'll like me?" He asked with hopeful eyes hoping his relative would like the man, he didn't want her hating him for no reason when he hadn't done anything. He imagined her being okay with it all if she was like Angel and him, she would be calm and hopefully be able to bond with Connor. He wanted to get to know her and was hoping she'd want to get to know him and catch up. It seemed as if she was a good vampire so that was good, she wasn't just some evil vampire out to kill everybody, it did kind of suck she was one but it was a good thing since his father had someone to talk to for years and years.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~She understood what he meet by dumb books, one that WIllow really thought was out there was Twilight. There is no way in million years that a vampire could sparkle, last Willow checked the burned in the sunlight and they can see themselves in a mirror if they tired. "Yeah I'm into books to a lot, there is just one book that I can't stand. Twilight I don't understand it at all." Said the witch in a lost like tone of voice. So really it was just some dumb Barbie version of vampires that was never going to happen. It really was sad the image that girls had came up with about vampires, they wished they were that friendly. The truth way they weren't at all. "Well you have been told now." She could tell by the smile that he liked how much he really was like his dad, which was a good thing seeing how noble Angel was. Which was why she knew at one point Buffy would see deep inside of him, she would see how good of a person he really was. There wasn't any side of Darla in there it was all Angel, and maybe even a bit of Buffy... Which could be why they might but heads a bit. "Don't worry you and Buffy will become very close just as her and Angel are, you will be like family you will see." She told the young one. "It no problem Connor." Said the witch. Willow understood just how he felt how all the guilt would built up and eat ya alive, it did Willow as long as she could remember. For so long it was hard for her to live her life after all she had done, it killed her inside knowing she had hurt people and the once she loved. Which was why she had to go away awhile with Giles, so she could come to terms with all she had done. Plus she had to learn to tame her magic. "Well thanks it means a lot knowing you are here." She said with a smile. She was an interesting Character that was for sure, but that's what made Kathy, Kathy. "I'm sure you will meet her sooner then later, but I will tell it will take her some time for her to warm up to you. She don't trust just anyone at first, but when she knows you are family that will help but..." Willow then realized the one person that was his mother she may have a problem with more then Buffy would. "Well lets just say that she is not a fan of Darla so that maybe be a bit of a problem for you at first." Said Willow. ----------------------- ----------------------- The man groaned, "Yeah, let's not talk about that book," he said to the girl. He hated that book with a passion, it was the biggest bullshitter. The whole vampires sparkle and are basically invincible, they can't die from the sun, no stake can kill them, and apparently they can survive anything unless they are ripped apart and burned....that book was not his cup of tea. "The amount of flaws it has is unbelievable," he couldn't believe how the the author portrayed vampires and made the protagonist Bella so weak and so love struck. Overall, it was a piece of crap and he would never read something like that again, he should have stopped after the first book, but he had to finish it to see if it would get any better, it did a little bit but not entirely.
"Thank you Willow, really," he said with another smile. He was glad to hear that he was like his father. He remembered about a couple years ago he would have just shook his head and have lashed out and be angry about it. But him right now, he was proud to be like him, his dad was the most selfless person and pretty much a hero. That was his soul side...his other side not so much, he was worse, kind of like yin and yang. Connor wondered what he would do in that situation, he remembered the last time he tried killing him, but this time he wasn't sure. It would be a really tough situation since he did care for his father a lot more now, it would be hard for him to kill him especially if the two got any closer.
"You think so? I don't want her hating me or anything...she seems like a nice girl," he was really interested in meeting the girl and was hoping he would meet her soon. He was really nervous though, what if she didn't like him? Well if she didn't then he would just avoid her or leave town so her and his dad could be happy. From what he was told it seemed like both had been through a lot so they both needed each other as much as possible. So who was he to stand in the way of love? He did have another family so he would be okay, just a bit upset because he really did want to try out this family thing out. "I'm glad I could be here, its been great so far," he told the girl with a smile.
"Yeah, she doesn't really know me so I could see why she wouldn't trust me," he could relate, he didn't trust Angel for the longest time. If Kathy didn't trust him when he met he would be okay with that, trust was earned and it didn't happen right away. "Seems like no one is a fan of my mother," he said with a frown. When he had seen her she seemed so nice...unless it was all in his head but he wanted to believe she reached out to him. She had done terrible things but so had Angel so couldn't she have been forgiven if she had a soul too?
