::Satsu:: Getting Down To Business

After the previous night in the high school with Angel, Faith was on the prowl. That hadn't been the run of the mill patrol. Those vamps had definitely been up to something. They'd managed to close the portal but it was only because of Angel that they had. If he hadn't been there, Faith would have had to call in help. Killing demons was her thing - and she was good at it. However anything to do with magic and she was pretty damn clueless. However the female vampire that'd been a part of the group had disappeared before Faith could interrogate or kill her and she had a bad feeling. A pit the size of Africa in the bottom of her stomach told her they were going to open up another portal. She couldn't let that happen.

However, she knew Buffy was busy dealing with her own shit. Instead, she sought out help from another one of the Slayers in the house. Not a potential - another Sister Slayer, Satsu.

Currently in the boarding house, she found Satsu alone in the kitchen. "Hey, we're goin' for a ride. Meet me outside in ten." Without even actually asking her, Faith just assumed she'd come, and went upstairs to grab her jacket. She slipped her trusty knife into her boot and slipped her stake into the waistband of her jeans. Once ready, she slipped on her favorite pair of combat boots and headed outside and to Buffy's SUV. She was taking it - hopefully the blonde Slayer wouldn't be needing it. She'd be shit out of luck.

When Satsu came outside, Faith backed the car out of the driveway and started heading to town. "Angel and I made a few friends last night. Couple a vamps in the high school opened up a portal and let out a bunch of nasties. Now we stopped it, but one of the vamps got away. I'm thinkin' they're gonna try to open up another one. We can't let that happen."

[/color] Explaining the situation as short as she could, she turned into town, heading for the magic shop.

"So, we gotta find her before she does. I'm thinkin' we go to the magic shop first. See if anyone's been stockin' up lately, try to get some info."[/color] Another turn and they were on main street. Faith parked the SUV into a spot and shut off the engine. "You in?"[/color] she asked, though it was sort of pointless as she'd pretty much kidnapped the Slayer already. With this she got out of the car, locked it, tossed the keys into her pocket, and started heading for Pathaways. They weren't going to let another portal be opened. She wasn't going to let that happen, nor was she going to let anyone be hurt.

Satsu made her way down the stairs making her way to the kitchen, she was feeling a bit thirsty so she decided to make her way down to the kitchen for a drink. She had just got done training with some of the girls, so she was a bit winded and tired. Making her way into the Kitchen she got into the fridge taking out a can of Root Beer, taking a big drink of it as she leaned it back. “yeah that really it the spot.” She said as she stood there alone. She wasn’t sure were everyone was but she knew that Buffy was busy, dealing with the same old stuff. Which was why Satsu was in change of the class that day.

All the sudden Faith had made her way into the Kitchen with Satsu, she could tell by the way she was acting something was up. There must have been a job of some sort that needed to be dealt with. Which was something that she hoped that she would let Satsu in on. But she did telling Satsu to meet her out side in ten. “Ok I will be there.” She told the Slayer. She wondered what for but she knew that she didn’t have time to sweat the details. She would have to wait when they were outside and they could talk.

Satsu ran up stairs really fast grabbing all that she would need, which was her stake and samurai sword. All a girl really needs to get though the night, with those she is always unstoppable. She quickly made her way back outside were she met up with Faith for the job. She quickly got in the car with her taking off into the town. She listened carefully to the job that they had at hand, heating what she needed to do. It seemed as always vampires were making hell for them all, which this Slayer wasn’t going to have at any means.

After the Slayer explained everything Satsu sat there wearing a smile more ready then ever, this was acting she had been longing for. “ Are you kidding you know I’m in, lets do this thing and kick some vampire ass.” She said with a smile. She got out of the car with Faith making there way to the magic shop, hoping they could stop this before any other portal got opened up. It really was the last thing they needed right now. This town had enough dangers all ready as is.

Glad to hear that the other Slayer was up for it, Faith nodded. "Good. Now, we gotta shake 'em down good. Experience tells me the magic shop owners are normally the go-to for info." Side by side, the two stepped through the streets with purpose. Both of them seemed to own the place - and it showed. Faith's strides were long, strong, and proud. She didn't take shit from anyone and it definitely showed.

Making their way to the front door she gave one last raise of her eyebrows to Satsu as she swung the front door open. There were a couple customers lingering about down the aisles and she didn't see anyone behind the counter at first. "Check that loft, there"

[/color] she said pointing upwards before then nodding towards the back supply room. "I'll check the back." Doing a quick scan to make sure no one was currently watching her she hopped over the small wooden door to get behind the counter.

Pressing forward, she opened up the back door of the supply room. The shop owner (or who she assumed the shop owner once was) was lying on the ground, blood drained. Faith knelt down beside her and pressed two fingers to her neck - no pulse. "Sat, back here"[/color] she shouted, calling for the other Slayer to come inside.

The woman was on top of a large red rug. When she'd walked in her foot had kicked up the corner of the rug revealing a bit of red paint. Quirking her head to the paint, she bent down and lifted up the one side (the other side was weighted down by the redheaded shopkeep). Pentagram - just like the one the vamps had set up in the school. "Well I think it's likely to say she knew something"[/color] Faith said with an exhale, looking back down to the body.

As Satsu entered the room, Faith simply looked down to the body. Back up to Satsu and just as her lips parted to speak - she could have sworn that the body had moved.

Faith was right this was the go to place for info, Buffy and Willow were always coming here to find out info. Plus it seemed that Giles knew someone all to well that worked here, she was a good friend and always gave the gang anything that they needed. She stepped through the door with Faith, taking a good look around the place. There were a few customers in there walking around, which wasn’t good seeing that they didn’t need hearing any of the info that they needed.

“Right I will check it out, you need back up call me.“ She told her. Faith was checking the back while Satsu was to check the loft, she knew that Giles friend wasn’t there at the time. Seeing that she was always out on the floor of her store greeting people, not to metion Willow had told her she was off that day. Satsu looked around and so far nothing out of the ordinary, nothing seemed to be going on. She wondered what Faith had found, and if she had gotten any info. But then all the sudden she heard a call coming from the back of the shop, it was Faith calling her and it didn’t seem good at any means.

She hurried getting back there as fast as she could, taking her sword out getting ready just in case. For all she knew Faith was under attack and needed help. When she got back there all she saw was one of the shop owners laying on the floor, someone who helped run the shop with Giles friend. Satsu couldn’t believe it has she stood there with her month open in shock, wondering who could have done this?

It was right she had to have known something, why else would have some have a reason to have killed this woman. They obviously didn’t want here saying anything to anyone. Faith stood but getting ready to speak to Satsu and when she did the body have moved, or at lest Satsu would have sworn it did. “Did that just move or I‘m I crazy?” She asked the Slayer wondering what was going on there? “Did you see that too?” Satsu stood there still sword in hand ready for whatever could happen.

They definitely weren't getting any more information out of this shopkeeper. From what Faith remembered from previous trips though, there had been two of them who ran the shop along with several other employees. Someone else had to be there, right? This lady had died probably days ago, just based on how cold the body was.

“Did you see that too?”

Transferring her brown eyes from Satsu and back onto the body, she realized she was already too late. The body's eyes were open and it was lunging for her. Vampire. Someone had turned the shop keep into a vampire, probably for her knowledge of magic.

The vampire fell on top of her and pushed her onto her back with an oomf. As fangs came down towards her she pulled her knees up as high as she could and kicked the vampire off her. The vampire flew several feet and rolled, finding herself in a standing position. Instead of coming back for Faith, she dove for Satsu instead. "Don't kill her! Dead or not, we need some info outta her" she shouted as the two began to scuffle.

Knowing Satsu could hold her own with one simple vampire, Faith exited the supply room to see that all of the customers had heard the commotion and left the shop. She quickly locked the front door and tossed up the close sign. Moving back into the supply room, she found some rope wadded up and held it for Satsu to see. "Let's tie her up, see what she knows"

[/color] Faith instructed, pulling a chair from behind the counter into the room. She backed the chair up against the door and locked them all in the room together. Holding out the rope, she began to tie the vamp down as Satsu held her to the chair.

Once completely tied up, Faith stood back and crossed her arms over her chest. "The pentagram. I've seen it before. Who's doing it and why?"[/color] she ordered the vampire, though, she didn't seem too receptive. It looked like they were going to have to get a little rough in order to get any answers. Faith was fine with rough - she lived for rough.

It seemed that Faith knew something was up too, Satsu wasn’t the only one that had saw it. She had moved which was why the both watched carefully now. Satsu was right there with her keeping her eyes on and close to the body, playing close attention to all of what it was doing. But then it had moved, it seemed that she had been turned. Great just what this poor girl needed, but it wasn’t anything this two girls couldn’t handle that was for sure. The vampire had lunged at Faith, trying to dig is fangs into her. But Satsu wasn’t going to have any of that. She held her sword high ready to take its head. But Faith had yelled tell her not to kill her, she was right they did need the info. She begin to help the Slayer get a good hold of her.

Faith got away leaving Satsu alone with the vampire, just what she had wanted all along. “All right just us two now, so you are going to tell me what I want. Other wise you will be feeling my stake here real soon, where you will be nothing but another pile of ash.” She said with a smile. “Now come on we both know you don’t want that, plus I really don’t want dust on my new top.” Satsu began to fight her trying to get a good old of her, but she was fighting every chance she got. Finally Faith was back ready to help take her down. “Good Idea Faith!” Satsu had gotten a good grip putting her to the chair while Faith tied her up. “There this should her.”

Finally they had her right where they had needed her, too weak to do a thing to stop them. They could now ask all that they needed to ask, and find what they came there for in the first place. Satsu stood not to far from Faith, putting her hands on her hips waiting for her to talk. But they asked and nothing the vampire wasn’t going to do what they wanted, Satsu knew they may need a better approach on things. “You know Faith maybe a bit of your torture is in need here.” She then walked over picking up an old torch used in old days to light the way, lighting it up with her lighter. “Here this may help us do the trick, don’t you think Faith?” She asked with a smile.

The redhead vampire still didn't say anything. Her nametag read that the human she'd once been had been named Sandy. Faith couldn't help but laugh. "Listen, Sandy..." she began sarcastically. "You're going to be Dusty in about five minutes if you don't tell me what I want to know."

[/color] Still, Sandy didn't budge. If anyone knew Faith at all they knew that she wasn't very patient. Or patient at all, rather.

Without another warning, Faith rounded on the vampire and sent a right hook to it's cheek bone. The bone crushed under the power and the sickly sound of bones breaking was the only noise. Sandy still wasn't speaking and Faith was simply growing aggravated. Another blow to the vampire's cheek - still nothing. It'd been the same cheek too! What the f*ck. "Well, she's tougher than the hair suggests."[/color] Referring to Gingers being cowards. Heh. Gingers.

“You know Faith maybe a bit of your torture is in need here.”

Faith nodded. The other brunette had a point - actual torture might just be the trick instead of just beating the vampire to a bloody pulp. "Be my guest.."[/color] she said, gesturing to give her the floor as the Japanese (she thought she was Japanese, at least? Who knew - they all looked the same to her) Slayer started looking for some sort of weapon. Finding some medieval looking torch thing, Satsu lit it and brought it near Sandy's face.

"Hey, I'm all for torching a vamp, but be careful. We need her to talk - not blow away in the wind."[/color] Crossing her arms over her chest, she leaned against the opposite wall and simply watched.

Once the vampire had been burned a couple of times, Faith approached the both of them. Sandy still wasn't budging. Bending down to retrieve the knife from her boot she held it up threateningly to the vampire. "Last chance. Who's opening the portals and why?"[/color] she asked. The vampire spit at her. Eyes widened in disgust and she plunged the knife into the vampire's heart. It wouldn't kill her, as it wasn't wood, it'd just hurt her like hell. Hopefully - hurt her enough to get her to talk.

The vampire wasn’t telling what Faith what she wanted, Satsu guessed she must not have ever heard of the Slayer before. Other wise she would have spilled it by now, she had no idea what was coming to her. “Yeah Sandy and I will be here to sweep you right up when she does, so it might be best that you start spilling what we want.” She said in a loud like tone. It wasn’t looking good for the vampire, it was about to get pretty nasty in here.

Satsu did like Slaying with Faith for a change, she was a lot more dirtier then Buffy at times and she liked that. There were times when Satsu didn’t want to play nice and by the rules, so with Faith they got to let out there bad girls sides and be as dirty as they wanted too be. Which was why she was loving every minute of this, but she would never tell Buffy she felt that way other wise she may smack her.

It seemed the vampire was tougher then she looked, she may have been a lot older then they realized. “Let me get a hit in.” The Slayer said smacking it upside its head. “Wow she is a tough one.” Which was why Faith was agreeing with Satsu, it was time to play dirty, no more Mr. Nice Slayer. Which was why she took the torch to the vampires face, waiting to burn her ass to the ground. But Faith was right they did need her for info, which was why she couldn’t kill her just yet. “Yeah we do need her to talk, but doesn’t mean we can do this.” She said while taking it to the vampires hand, just enough not to kill her but brun and bring her pain. “How’s that feel bitch!”

“Ok you better talk now, other wise next time it wont just be a burn. We will be making us some vampire BBQ.“ She said with a smile. After she burned the bitch a bit, she let Faith have another go seeing what she could get out of her. Satsu stood there with her arms crossed hoping they could get something out of her, other wise all this would be for nothing and they have to find a new source for Info.

The brunette couldn't help but chuckle as Satsu called the vampire a bitch. Hearing such a thing from the normally mousey little Slayer was sort of amusing. Although she knew this might not have been Buffy's avenue, it was hers and she'd be damned before she left without any info. "Burn her leg a bit, maybe that'll get her talkin'" Faith piped in from behind, simply enjoying the show.

Several minutes and several burns later and they still didn't have anything. Plunging the knife into the vampire's heart, Sandy cursed and screamed out of pain. Yet she still didn't want to talk. She raised an eyebrow at the BBQ comment, as she loved BBQ, and that didn't sound good at all. A light smile touched her face..

For a moment she leaned back next to Satsu and simply stared at the vampire. "Whaddaya think, Sat?"

[/color] she asked a few moments later, looking to the other Slayer for ideas.

With a shrug she stepped closer to the vampire once again. Lifting the knife, she slit down the side of the vampire's cheek. Next she moved to do the other one. Still no talking. Last ditch effort, she started sliding near Sandy's throat. This caused the vampire to finally talk. "Wait!" Sandy exclaimed, fear finally shining through her yellow demonic eyes. "Oh, now you want to talk?"[/color] she asked with a raise of an eyebrow. The vampire second guessed whether or not to rat.

Faith slid closer to her throat.

"Okay, okay! There's a group of us. Five or six, we were trying to open the portals...Cause chaos, take over Richmond. That's all I know, I swear!"

Pressing the blade against cold dead skin, she held it harder until a few prickles of blood slid down her collarbone. "Where's the nest?"[/color] Faith asked pressing the blade harder. "An abandoned building downtown, fifth and harding." Satisfied with the info, she tilted her head to Satsu giving her permission to finally stake the bitch. Moving the chair away from the door, Faith headed back into the main store area. As she walked, she heard Sandy beg to be let go. Then she heard the swift noise of the vampire being dusted. As she made her way to the store exit, she couldn't help but smile. That'd been kinda fun.

She could tell that Faith was loving this just as much as Satsu was, telling her as well what to do. They needed to do get this vampire talking some how and some way, but it just wasn’t that easy. She just kept on burning and burning the thing and so far nothing. It was just starting to smell like rotten vampire in the room. “I don’t know Faith this vamp is being one stubborn bitch!” I think we may just have to kill them.” She said with a smile, hoping that would get them talking some more.

They both we a bit clueless on what to do here, it seemed all they could do was keep being them pain till they talked. Which didn’t worry the Slayer she has nothing but time on her hands, not to mention she was having a blast here with Faith. She stood there with Faith tilling her head slightly just looking at the vampire. “I’m not sure what we should do him next, I’m loving that Knife maybe go in a bit deeper with it, I think they have felt enough pain.” Said Satsu.

Finally it seemed that she had gotten to the vampire, she could see it just in the way they were shaking in fear as Faith held the knife close. It seemed her holding it to there throat was enough to make them shake in there boots. Satsu came a bit closer with Faith listing to see what the vamp was going to tell, hopefully it was the info they needed for the job. But it was more then just info, it was something that could bring hell to Richmond. It seemed they were opening portals, portals with only god knows what. With more pressing from the blade Faith got all they had needed out if them, telling them were they could find the nest.

Finally after getting all the info they needed, Faith gave her the ok to end him. Satsu couldn’t help but wear a big smile on her face, happy to be putting an end to this bitch. Standing from behind them she took the blade to his neck, pushing against it as hard as she could. Making them turn to nothing but dust on the floor. She then put her sword back in its sheath, quickly following behind Faith . “All right lets go take care of this nest.” She told her, ready for more action.

Well she had to admit, the woman definitely didn't lack bravery in any form. "Hold up there, junior" she told the younger woman as they both exited the supply room and headed back into the main area of the shop. In the distance she heard sirens coming meaning one of the earlier customers must have called the local police. Joy.

"Hear that?"

[/color] she asked with a tilt of her head, placing one finger up for Satsu to stop talking and instead listen. The sirens were getting closer to them by the second. "Cops."[/color] With this she started moving even quicker but this time towards the back entrance of the shop. "See, technically, I'm still a wanted felon. You aren't."[/color] Which basically meant she was out of there. Satsu wasn't wanted, she could go out the front. Although she was pretty sure the other Slayer could make it to her car before being seen, she wasn't being willing to chance it. She'd die before she went back to that place.

Stopping at the back door she turned back towards Satsu one more time, standing halfway inside and halfway out. "Meet up at the house, grab more weapons, then we go."[/color] Nodding towards the Slayer as a way of goodbye, Faith slipped out the back door and into the alleyway behind the shop. Cops were pulling up out front as Satsu drove off and Faith was halfway down the alley already.

However...she hadn't considered the fact that the cops probably thought the place was being robbed. Therefore, they would probably surround the shop. And they did.

A cop car came into sight in front of her and she immediately spun on her heels. Coming from the other side, another cop car. "Shit"[/color] she muttered to herself, looking around for the nearest exit. Below her - manhole. The sewers didn't sound too fun, though, and she didn't want to have to shower again. Her eyes then went to a dumpster beside the shop and without thinking much of it, she leapt on top of it and climbed to the top of the building. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, she eluded the police (though it hadn't been easy) and circled the long way around back to the boarding house.

Satsu couldn’t lie she was excited and ready to take this on, she could hear Faith telling her to slow down a bit as she left the supply room. But she couldn’t help it, she wanted to take care of these damn blood suckers. “Sorry I’m just ready for this fight.” She told her. If there was one thing in this world that she hated it was vampires, there was no doubt about it that she was a Slayer. If she could rid the world of them she would, every last one of them. All though not all Slayers feel like Satsu does, seeing that Buffy is dating one of them. Which she will never understand no mater how hard she tires.

As she was walking Faith at stopped her in that moment, it seemed she had herd something. She stopped to taking a listen along with her seeing if she could make out the sound. But right when she could make out what it was so did Faith. It seem the cops were on there way to were they were, which wasn’t good for Faith at all with still being wanted. “ Yeah you should get out of here, last thing we need is for them to catch up with you.” Said Satsu.

She was right they needed to make sure they were ready for this fight, plus they needed to split up right now. They would meet at the house to make sure they were ready, they couldn’t be careless with this fight. Buffy taught them better then that, so they needed to be ready know more then ever. “Right I will meet you up at the house, there are a few thing I would like to get.” Said Satsu. “You get out of here and be careful we don’t need you getting your ass into Jail because then I will have to come get you out. Again.” She said with a smile.

Satsu was on her way running as fast as she could making it to the house, she hoped that Faith would be all right on her own. But then again this was Faith we were talking about, Potentials Slayers wish they were as cool as her, well other then Buffy of coarse. Satsu made it to the house waiting for Faith to show, excited for hunt they will be going on.
