------------------ ------------------ Tonight was a night of patrol, Sarah wasn't really sure how she was feeling right now, she had felt off...and she didn't know why. She just felt something was changing and she couldn't point out what it was. The woman just decided to ignore it and focus on her patrol. She got her stake and and made sure to carry a bow and arrow, she had been practicing with it. She then was off to the cemetery to see if there were any demons or vampires that were going to do anything bad which was most likely but she had to give all of them a chance. She started to make her way to the cemetery, and although she was going to such a grim place, the girl couldn't be any happier, she had shared a night with Sam, a night that would be unforgettable and she would always remember the moment, the way he had looked in her eyes. Now was not the time to think about that kind of stuff when she had to be on her guard.
The girl finally arrived at the cemetery and started walking around and of course she couldn't help but think about the intimate night, she was smiling like an idiot right now which she really shouldn't be. She just loved the man so much, as she was distracted by her thoughts a vampire had tackled her down to the ground and she was instantly out of her thoughts. She kicked the girl off of her and jumped up ready to fight. It didn't take long, Sarah staked the woman fairly quickly and was on her way once again. What she didn't realize was that there were other vampires until they had popped out, she had no idea were her senses were being so weird today, she really needed to stop getting distracted.
Apparently one of the vampires was in love with the girl Sarah killed and Sarah just stood there and a part of her did feel a little bit bad when she really shouldn't since they were all bad creatures. The leader of the vampires wanted to fight her and no one was supposed to be involved, she fought the vampire dodging his punches but took a few hits from time to time. She kicked him with a sidekick and then jabbed him while giving him an uppercut sending him down to the ground which was when the other vampires got involved. Sarah knew she could handle since she did have really good training by Satsu but she had to make sure still that there were no slip-ups as a vampire could get lucky.
She fought the vampires and made sure to stake the one behind her as she didn't want them trying to sneak up on her, she made sure they realized they couldn't by killing that one. There were three left which was the leader and the other two and they all just gave her an evil grin and she couldn't figure out why but didn't pay attention to it. Maybe they thought they were going to win or something. She kicked one of them in the head while dodging another's punch, this was starting to become bothersome. She killed another one quickly so she would only have the leader and the other guy. She was glad that she was able to stake them in a short matter of time, she just had to make sure she killed these two guys then patrol a bit more and then go home and just relax while taking a warm bath. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! Though Kyle met Willow and made a new friend, and he reunited with Liz, though their reunion was cut short, Kyle felt more alone then ever before. He just felt like no one wanted to be there for him, he understood his friends had problems of there own, but that didn't mean it upset him any less. He was just walking around, thinking, and exploring. He was new in town and didn't know much about the area, so he wanted to familiar himself with it. Somehow he had been out walking most of the day and it was now night time.
Kyle somehow made his way to the graveyard. He didn't like graveyards and it only made him feel more lonely. It was ok, it gave him more time to think, and none of the souls surrounding him in their eternal slumber would judge him for that. He continued to walk around and finally spotted someone, for once a living soul walking alone in the graveyard. Kyle thought it was strange, but that would make him strange, as he was doing the exact same thing. She seemed to be lost in thought too as she didn't notice the guys coming up to her.
Kyle was about to be a hero and rescue her from being kidnapped, or raped, or killed, or worse. He thought, what were the odds, another Marriageable gal to bring home to Papa Valenti that needed Kyle's help. But knowing his luck, she would probably either be spoken for, a lesbian, or both. Still, she needed his help, even if he got beaten up for his troubles, at least he saved an innocent women from a gruesome fate. But she then unexpectedly sprung into action. Fighting off her would be attackers. Kyle wanted to cheer her on, but he then saw something else that shocked him.
She took out a long pointed wooden stick and jabbed it in to where the heart of the men would be. Kyle watched as one by one they turned into dust, dust that Kyle was sure he didn't want to breathe in. For some reason Kyle was hiding behind a headstone, suddenly terrified by what was going on around him. He was then unexpectedly grabbed from behind by someone very strong and brought to the group of remaining males and the female that was once so marriageable. "Give it up slayer or pretty boy here gets it." The man that had Kyle in his arms squirming said.
Now Kyle was no lightweight and trained 10 hours a day to be the best baseball player he could be, so he had some power, but he could not manage to break the mans grip. He looked at the people around him and for a split second was unsure who the good guy(s) were. Feeling all alone and helpless, Kyle felt his emotions boil up inside of him. Oh no, he felt it the power going to his hands and placed them in the only save place he could reach, on the mans hips. The red sparks shot through him causing the man to let go of Kyle and fly backwords into a monument.
Kyle never did learn to control his powers, and now he had lost control of them completely. His arms continued to spark red sparks as he approached the guy he knocked down, brief concern crossed his mind that he killed the guy, but it was soon replaced with fear as the guy stood up like nothing happened and lunged at Kyle. Kyle swung as hard as he could at the guys jaw as the sparks were still going off and the guy went flying towards the girl, who Kyle knew only as Slayer, and the other two vampires. Kyle Ran...
He had no other option, he was scared and alone and didn't know what to do, he hid underneath a tree, hoping his powers would stop freaking on him, he briefly wondered who was winning, or what he walked into in the first place, but it wasn't help anything. He soon heard footsteps approaching. "Go away, I don't want to hurt you." He warned them, whoever they wore.

------------------ ------------------ Sarah was in an extremely good mood and these vampires weren't going to change that. She knew she could take them and they would probably die soon, she didn't know why she didn't just waste them right there and then, but for some reason she didn't want to just yet. Although, her and Sam did share a magical night, she was still a bit upset but not at him anymore only at Ruby. She hated Ruby...okay, that was harsh...could she really hate someone? Even if they were a demon? No, she couldn't, there was no hate in this girl's body...she could never hate someone, that wasn't who she was and she knew that, she wanted to hate this girl so badly but couldn't because in a way she did understand.
Ruby had done a lot of things in her life, she had betrayed Sam and she continued to do so, she knew Sam was a good guy and she manipulated him into thinking that he needed to drink demon blood, Ruby did things that were unforgivable yet Sarah couldn't hate her. Sure, she disliked Ruby, she disliked Ruby for betraying the man Sarah loved and not only that but disliked her for trying to break the two up, she did many unthinkable things yet Sarah just couldn't, and she would probably never kill the woman just because she knew that her and Sam once had a thing whether it'd be just a sexual relationship or a real one, it was still something and as much as she disliked the girl Sarah had to respect that Sam did have some sort of feelings for Ruby which was why Sarah couldn't kill her.
She decided to stop thinking about this stuff because she really didn't need to think of it, she had Sam and that was all that mattered, she didn't have to worry about things like that anymore, she trusted him. She focused on the last two vampires. The girl heard a voice and she quickly turned around as she saw an innocent man being held by one of the vampires, they had laughed at her like she was trapped, she had her crossbow though and she would save this man, she wasn't going to let him die, not when she was here. She took out her crossbow ready to shoot and yelling for the man to duck but something happened, something she didn't understand. She couldn't believe her eyes, were they actually hallucinating right now? She honestly didn't know what was real and what wasn't for the first time...what was he?
She saw red sparks coming out of his hands, he couldn't be a wizard though, could he? Sarah didn't believe it, she had never seen Willow do something like this nor tell her about it, but Sarah could be wrong. The guy punched the vampire and the vampire was flying straight at her, she dropped her bow and got her stake to stab him, she then stuffed her stake in her pocket, picking up her bow and shooting the two remaining vampires, not wanting to waste any more time. She ran after the man and she found him under a tree, she didn't believe he was a demon or for that matter someone who was evil as he seemed genuinely scared...and he had told her to go away. "I just wanted to know if you were okay," she told the man. "And I can handle myself," she said with a smile. "I promise," she bent down to look at him in the eyes so he could tell that she wasn't scared of him or anything. "I'm guessing you want an explanation to this insanity," she said hoping he wasn't going to run off and tell his friends or something, but then his friends would think he was crazy.

Kyle wanted someone, anyone to call his own, and though he knew it may never happen, he wasn't about to give up. He tried meeting people, going to bars and mixers and what not. He didn't have the best of luck and maybe there was something to the Liz curse, but someday he was find his true love and no long feel like the odd man out of the group, he would feel like he truly belonged. That was his goal, to someday be as happy as Max and Liz, or as happy as Michael and Maria, without the breaking up and getting back together over and over thing.
What happened next scared Kyle almost to death. The whole situation was violent and scary and stressful. He often found himself losing control when stuff like this happened. It is why he ran, he didn't have control, he didn't want to hurt anyone, even though, one of them wanted to hurt him, it was just against who Kyle was. So hurting those people, no matter what they wanted to do was even more fuel to his emotional state. On top of that, he just exposed himself to a handful of people, none of them can know what he was, and now they did.
So the bad news kept coming. It wasn't long till he found out the answer to his question. The girl had won. He wondered if she was the good guy or not, but she wasn't the one that threatened him in the first place, so she probably was the good guy. Her asking him if he was ok only added to this speculation that she was in fact one of the good guys in this scenario, so though his guard was still up as he tried to get his abilities under control, he somehow felt that she was not gonna hurt him in any way, so his guard against her was lowered.
"I'm..." Kyle told her, though his hands were still sparking, he just wanted to tell he was ok so she would go away and he wouldn't hurt her, but he couldn't, as it was a lie. "No..." He answered sadly. She then told him she can handle herself. He did not doubt this statement one bit, he just wondered why she felt that way. He wondered if he could kill someone when he got like this or not, but he didn't know the answer for sure. For now he just wanted to get somewhere dark and quiet to hide and wait till it stops, and that was impossible as he was far from his motel room.
"I don't know how to control it. I don't know what I am capable of." He told her, she then asked if he wanted to know what was going on. The truth was, he did, he did want to know what was going down, and her talking to him, being kind to him even though he was not normal, he was different, calmed him down. He nodded. "I can't promise I can tell you what is going on with me." Kyle responded to her, it wasn't something he could just blab to other people, it put his life and his friends lifes in danger. But he wanted to know what was going on.
"What were those things? What are you? Why did they attack us? What's your name?" Kyle asked her the questions flooding out of his mouth. It seemed to take his mind off stuff as his powers were starting to spark out and would soon go away, but he needed her to keep talking to him, to keep treating him like a normal guy, like he would never be again.

------------------ ------------------ Sarah wanted to make sure this guy was okay, she knew how some people got when they had witnessed something that didn't exist...she had witnessed it. She had even been there when that ghost painting came to life, sure she acted like she was fine with everything and she was trying to make sense of it at first but then she realized what was really out there, she was terrified but she knew she could handle it. Some people couldn't handle it and she hoped this man was able to, he seemed like a nice enough guy and he did help her with those vampires even though he ran away after which was a good thing as she didn't want him to get hurt.
She still wondered what he was...she didn't want to push it or anything as he had the right to keep his secrets, she knew he wasn't a bad guy though because no bad guy would pretend to be this scared or...this vulnerable and if they did then they would have attacked by now, he was definitely different and for some odd reason she felt bad for him. Maybe it was the way he was crouched on the ground or the pain in his eyes, she wanted to help him or save them, she knew not everyone could be saved but she could sure try right? The man deserved that much.
She looked at his hands and they were still sparking yet, she wasn't scared of them, she knew he wasn't going to hurt her. When he said he wasn't okay, she looked at him a bit of sad eyes she truly felt bad for the man and didn't want him to feel this way. "Well you kicked ass out there," she said trying to change the subject. "And went into safety," she said with a small smile. She thought if she distracted him enough then he would feel better and he would be okay, he didn't need to worry about anyone attacking him or her for that matter, and he didn't have to worry about hurting her, he had control of whatever it was, he just needed to trust himself.
"But you know you're a good person and that's all that matter," she told the man reassuring him that he knew he could stop himself, he just had to try. "That's fine, it's a secret about you, I have no right to ask you," she said with another small smile. It was about him and she wasn't going to push that. Knowing about the supernatural, that was different since it wasn't about Sarah, a part of it was but no entirely. And if this man knew what was going on he wouldn't be walking into cemeteries like he was before, he would keep himself safe...hopefully. She wanted to know what he was but it was rude to try and convince him to spill so she would just stay curious.
The girl laughed a bit, "A lot of questions," she said but she was happy to answer. "You may think I'm crazy but they're vampires, I thought you'd figure out since they turned into dust," but people always tried to think they saw something else and pretend what was out there wasn't real. "And I'm me, I just fight vampires not a big deal really," she said shrugging. She was normal, she was just strong and fast. "As I said they are vampires which means hey most likely wanted to drink from us," she said with a frown, vampires could be annoying. "And I'm Sarah Blake," she gave the boy a smile. "What's your name?" She asked politely. This guy seemed like a secretive one so maybe he wouldn't tell her his name, if he didn't then she'd understand, he didn't have to tell her anything but she didn't want him being scared of her ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! Kyle never thought his night would end up going that bad that fast. He first thought he was gonna stop some guys from hurting an innocent women, it then turned out the women maybe wasn't so innocent and the guys were more then they seemed, and then his powers went haywire. That is not how he wanted to spend a weekend night on his own. He wanted to meet a girl and settle down and learn to control his abilities. Liz was lucky, she had the whole group to help her through it, Kyle didn't have anyone, so no wonder he had no control.
"By kick their ass, you mean accidentally attack them and by run to safety you mean run away and hide like a coward." Kyle corrected her, managing a smile over it, yeah, maybe his actions were not the most brave that he could of shown, and if she was single and ready to mingle, he blew that chance, but she was so gorgeous and nice, evil unknown person killing aside, that he would be shocked if she didn't have a boyfriend already. So he decided to forget about that, someday, somewhere, he will meet someone, it was just not tonight.
"Thank you, I think your a good person too, despite watching what I watched." Kyle told her, he didn't know what he saw, he didn't know what those things were, so he had no idea if she was the good guy in the fight or not, but she seemed like she was, she didn't grab and threaten to kill him like the others did, not yet anyways. "Thank you. Even if I wanted to tell it, it would probably bring you more trouble then it is worth." Kyle told her, thankful she didn't want to know everything, as he couldn't and wouldn't give her any of the information yet anyways.
Finally, the sparks stopped happening and Kyle began to relax a little bit. It was over, the fight was over, the sparking was over, and hopefully the danger was over. "Vampires? Makes sense... Buddhism has taught me there is more out there then normal people ever know." Kyle told her, it wasn't really his religion that led him to believe this, it was him, himself, his life, his friends, everything. So to find out that those things she killed were vampires didn't phase him to much. "I have seen crazier things." Kyle told her truthfully, he knew she wasn't crazy.
"You are just so strong and fast, how can you be just normal?" Kyle asked her confused, but then he decided that if she didn't have to know everything about him, then he didn't need to know everything about her. "Its ok, I understand, you can't say, right?" Kyle told her, he wanted to get up off the ground now and started to pull himself up by the trunk of the tree. "You must think I am a loser or something, hiding like that?" Kyle asked her, he tried to be brave and do heroic things, but the night, it was just to much, his powers kicking in didn't help anything.
"I don't think I taste any good." Kyle said when she said that the vampires probably wanted to drink from him, it was the first joke he managed all night, and he needed it. "Hi Sarah, I'm James." Kyle told her with a smile, she seemed like just a normal person. "I play baseball for the local minor league team. I guess your job is killing vampires?" Kyle asked her with a smile. He was starting to loosen up and return to his old normal self now, now that the danger was truly over and he didn't have to worry about accidentally hurting her.

------------------ ------------------ She knew that when someone ran away they thought they were cowards but being in this supernatural world...the best thing to do was run, no matter how strong or how weak a person was the best thing to do was run. Even Sarah would run away from battle if her opponent was stronger, she wasn't asking for a death wish. She never understood why people thought running away was cowardly, it was being smart and it may not be the bravest thing, but it was the safest/ Some people liked to die as heroes but it wasn't worth it, life was more than that and people should treasure that no matter what. That's just how she saw it anyway, her view of the world was different.
"So maybe it was an accident, does it really matter?" He still was strong and he needed to realize that, the sooner he did then maybe the sooner he'd be able to control whatever it was. "And you hid to be safe, there's nothing wrong with that, it's better than dying," she told the man wondering if he would see it her way. She really hoped so, he shouldn't be ashamed or feeling guilty for leaving her there, that would just make her feel bad and both of them didn't need a night of feeling upset. He seemed like a really nice guy so maybe she would stick around for a bit and get to know him a little bit, maybe it was just the curious part of her wanting to know about his powers but other than that he just seemed interesting.
"Well, troubles my middle name," she said but then realized that definitely wasn't. "Actually, not really, I'm probably the most goody two-shoes girl," she never really got into trouble when she was younger, maybe in high school when she went passed her curfew or having a boy in her room but that was about it. She was never really a rebel child and still she always wanted to make things right. She would even make sure the demon or vampire was evil before she killed them, it was a clear indicator if they fought her or made rude comments.
"Buddhism teaches you this stuff?" She asked curiously. "And you handled that pretty well usually people would think I'm like crazy but I've been in your situation and I handled it pretty well also," she told him giving him a piece of her life, not a lot of it but just a bit. "I've seen crazier too! I mean these are just vampires, there are so much more things out there, it's actually insane," she said remembering the ghost painting and the other things she had faced. The supernatural world could get hectic, she had wondered what he had seen, from what it seemed like her world was new to him, his world seemed to be a bit of a mystery, one he wasn't willing to share just yet.
The girl laughed a bit, "Right," she knew he wanted to know but it wasn't like she could fully trust him as she didn't know him too well plus the story was way too long to tell, maybe one day she would tell him though. "No," she shook her head. "I would never think that you're a loser, you were following your instincts and they told you to run, there's nothing wrong with that, I'm actually glad you did," she said hoping he understood. "I would have been more distracted if you were still there and they would have tried using you as a shield again."
The woman started laughing, he was a pretty funny guy actually. "Should I be scared that you know what you taste like?" She asked the man jokingly. "Oh really? Maybe I'll come watch you play sometime," she said with a smile. "And that's not my only job, but for the most part, yes," she said with a light laughter. "Right now I'm looking into teaching elementary or high school," she said with a smile. "So, any reason you decided to walk into a creepy cemetery?" She asked curiously. "If you don't mind me asking," she didn't want to be rude. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! "I guess not." Kyle responded when she asked if it mattered or not if using his powers was an accident or not. He did have them, yes, and maybe that was an accident too, gaining them in the first place. But having them meant he did have ability, he was just so scared to use it. "I just, I follow Buddhism and I don't like to hurt people." Kyle told her. "And... my powers scare me." He added, using them to attack someone, even on accident, even in self defense, went against his faith and having them went against who he wanted to be.
"Alive and a coward, or brave and dead." Kyle told her when she said he ran to be safe. Yeah, maybe some people thought it was a cowardly move, others thought it was smart. Kyle was taught to be brave, and back in the day, he ran to a fight alongside his friends, and now he hid from it. Granted, he no longer had 3 alien-human hybrids to watch his back, but he use to be braver then this. He just smiled at her. "Thanks for trying to make me feel less of a coward at least." He told her, he would never fully get over this, but she helped a little.
"Really, judging by tonight trouble is more accurate then goody-two shoes for a middle name." Kyle told her with a smile. For some reason her being nice to him, his powers going away and everything just made him able to be himself around her. Sure he felt foolish for running, but she made him feel better. And for some reason his good mood was putting her in a good mood, or was it the other way around? Kyle couldn't tell who's mood brightened first, but it wasn't as awkward now as it was a few minutes ago between them, and Kyle was glad about that.
"Well not exactly." Kyle told her with a smile when she asked if buddhism taught him that there was so much more out there then meets the eye. It was his life that taught him that that lead him to study Buddhism. So in this case the chicken came before the egg instead of the egg before the chicken, but it was the same thing to him. The two, his religion and being a human alien hybrid, went hand and hand in Kyle's mind.
"Thanks, and you are no more crazy then I am." Kyle told her, which he wasn't sure if it was a compliment or not. Kyle has questioned rather or not he would always remain sane or not, ever since his grandfather was put into a nursing home and began acting insane. So he wasn't sure if it was a good thing he just said or not. "Like what? What else have you seen?" Kyle asked her curious if she knew anything about aliens. She said she saw some insane things in her time, and he was just checking to see if him and his friends were not one of them.
He nodded at her when she told him that he was right that she couldn't tell him. He understood having to keep secrets far better then most people ever did. Thanks... for being so understanding." Kyle told her with a smile. She wasn't judging him for running and he expected that a lot of people would of laughed at him for running and hiding like that, but not her, she thought it was a good move. "Yeah its not fun being used as a human shield. To be honest, I ran cause I was afraid I was gonna hurt them or you, not that they were gonna hurt me." He told her truthfully.
"Well... maybe." Kyle told her with a smile. He knew what his blood tasted like cause he was an athlete, so a cut or bloody nose would often bleed into his mouth. Suffice it to say, it didn't taste nice. "That would be nice, if you want to that is. I will give them your name and you will have to amazing tickets waiting for you." Kyle said, he never disliked showing off his skills for people. "Teacher by dad, vampire killer by night, interesting life choices." Kyle told her, though he was hardly one to judge.
"Well...would you believe I was exploring?" Kyle asked her with a chuckle as his explanation why he was in a creepy graveyard by himself at this time of night. "I am new in town and wanted to get the lay of the land and accidentally ended up here." He added to clarify. At least he didn't have to ask her why she was here, as he knew the answer to that one already.

------------------ ------------------ "What made you follow Buddhism?" She asked the man. She was actually really curious, he didn't seem like the type to even have a religion, if anything she would see him being christian or catholic. She was curious to know his story and how Buddhism came into his life. "Well, you're powers apart of you so wouldn't that mean you're scared of yourself?" She felt like she was going all psychologist on him and she didn't mean to, she didn't even know where it came from. "Being involved in the supernatural, I've seen a lot and being who I am I accepted it, maybe you just have to learn to accept yourself for who you are," she said not sure if she was right.
He did make a good point, people often that bravery led someone to die but not all of the time, there were survivors and the people who were seen as brave have probably been cowards before, not everyone was perfect. "You're welcome," she said with a small smile. She didn't him to feel bad for running away, he did hit that guy even if it was an accident, he did his best and that was all that mattered. Who wouldn't run away from that type of situation? If Sarah wasn't a slayer and a group of vampires wanted to feed on her she'd be running for the hills. It was a matter of life and death, and Kyle didn't want to take that risk of dying, not a lot of people would. If Sarah had to run from battle then she would but the demons and vampires in Richmond weren't that bad.
The girl laughed quietly, "Okay, so maybe I'm a bit of trouble," she ended off with a smile. She was glad the awkwardness was gone and the two could just talk like normal people even though they weren't normal, they were different but that wasn't a bad thing. Being normal wasn't the greatest anyway and she was glad to be a slayer, she got to help people and she had made the most amazing friends which made her feel belong in this world. She also had the most amazing boyfriend and if she hadn't become one then the two would have never reconnected and she would probably be dating some guy she didn't truly love, so it all worked out and Kyle would have to see it that way, maybe one day he would, just not tonight.
"Thanks...I think?" She said with a tilt of her head and then laughed. She didn't want to be seen as crazy but if someone did see her as crazy then she wouldn't get offended. Sarah wasn't one to get mad easily but if she did then people had to watch out, they had to stay clear. When she was pissed off at Sam she literally got annoyed at every single little thing. It was a good thing she had waited to see him and he didn't try coming to the house or she may have bit his head off. Moral of it all, never piss the girl off as no one would want to see the nice girl who was always happy snap. It took a lot to get her mad actually, it was actually pretty rare for her to.
"Well, as you know vampires but demons as well and witches," she told the man. "And ghosts," still remembering that time. She wanted to mention being friends with a witch but she didn't want to put Willow into any danger even though the girl was strong than everyone but still just a precaution. The guy was nice enough but she had to get to know him more before she started talking about her other friends. "You shouldn't worry! You just need help, maybe you'll find someone like you," she told him positively and with a smile on her face.
"That'd be great! I love sports, I used to be a cheerleader in my high school," she told the man. She remembered her high school days. She loved playing sports like volleyball and cheerleading and she kind of missed it. "Yeah, quite a life I live, dangerous but rewarding," she said with a small smile. She really liked helping people which was probably why she wanted to be a teacher so she could help the children gain the knowledge they need for the outside world.
"My instincts say I should...still, that's the most randomest thing," she said with a laugh. "Now it's making sense, well welcome to Richmond," she said sticking out her hand to shake his if he accepted the handshake. "So, besides the deadly vampires are you enjoying it here?" She asked him. Richmond was actually a pretty decent town and she was glad to be in it, she was actually thinking about staying here permanently if Sam stayed here as well. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! "A friend of mine turned me on to it." Kyle said, which was sort of the truth. He took up Buddhism because of the fact that he found out that aliens were real and that one of them had to save his life by healing him. So Kyle took it up to sort of deal with it all. So in a sense, a friend, Liz Parker to be exact, dragged him into the world of aliens, and so it led him to take up Buddhism. He exactly couldn't come out and say 'I took up Buddhism cause all my friends except for one are human/alien hybrids like myself' now could he?
He shrugged at her next comment. He was kind of afraid of himself, he was afraid that if he didn't get a hold of his powers soon then he might accidentally kill someone who doesn't deserve it. So in a sense, he was scared of himself and what he has become. She then said that he had to accept himself for who he is and he nodded. "It couldn't hurt, but I like myself the way I was before I got spark plugs for hands." Kyle told her truthfully, still he she had a point, Kyle wanted someone to like him, but he didn't even like himself right now.
"So just how crazy do you think I am?" Kyle asked with a smile. He wondered sometimes how crazy he really was. Was the last 7 years of his life just in his head? Did he really meet a bunch of Alien hybrids? Maybe this all came from Liz breaking up with him and he just snapped and ended up in a mental institution and all of this is in his head and not really happening. He made it all up to cope with Liz Parker breaking up with him. Kyle liked to pretend that this was true sometimes, but deep down, he knew the truth, and that was his life was as real as it gets.
"I didn't mean it like that. I meant that of the two of us, I am the most likely to be the crazy one of the two." Kyle told her trying to clear the air, but she was clearly not mad about it. When the topic turned to what else is out there he nodded. "I met a witch once, well she claimed to be a witch, she was really nice though and didn't seem like one, but some reason I believed her, maybe because I can't say I don't believe in something when I am living proof that something does exist, if that makes any sense." Kyle told her, he needed to contact Willow soon.
"Uh-huh." Kyle said when she told him that maybe he could find someone like him. There were only, to Kyle's knowledge at least, 8 people in the world like him. 1 of them was still a child probably and a boy. 4 of them were in epic romances already and the final 3, Kyle had no idea where they even were. Even if he did, they were not the best of company to have unless one of them changed drastically over the last 5 years. So him finding someone like him to be with was completely out of the question. He could only hope to find someone that didn't mind the fact he was an alien.
"Good, I am glad, I always like showing off for a pretty lady. Will you be bringing anyone to the game, a friend or husband or something?" Kyle asked her before quickly adding. "So I know how many tickets and souvenirs to get you." Kyle said, it was a nice recovery if he didn't say so himself, but what he was really wanting to know if she was single or not. But knowing his luck and how great she seemed to be, it was highly unlikely. Kyle would never move in on another mans girl, especially now that he knows how bad it feels to have it happen to you.
"Thanks." Kyle said, he wondered himself what brought him here. He knew this graveyard was here and never wanted to come here, but for some reason he decided to check it out tonight. He shrugged at her comments. "Like I said, I am likely crazy." Kyle told her she then held her hand out for a handshake and he took it and "Thanks" her as he shook her hand. "Well, I thought this town was boring, but then I found out there are witches and vampires here and now my opinion has changed." Kyle said with a smile at her when she asked how he liked it here.

------------------ ------------------ "Oh, well that's really cool of your friend to do that," she said with a smile. "I've never really been into religion, I guess because I've seen so much but then again maybe that's a reason to believe," she said actually wondering what was out there. From the people who came back alive they did explain being up somewhere but not really remembering. And as well as angels but she has yet to meet one. She wanted to though, it'd be quite an experience. She also wondered if there was a god...well there must have been since Sam was Lucifer's vessel...god there was so much to know about the world. Sarah had thought she had seen it all but she wasn't even close. There was so much more out there that she hadn't seen and she wanted to see it all...well the ones she could face unless the other things were good guys.
She listened to him as he said he liked the old him, but it shouldn't matter what powers he had or why he had them, he was still him, he just gained something that wasn't in his control. It was kind of Sarah she had gained her slayer powers, of course she was given the chance to lose her powers and forget about the whole thing but she wasn't going to do that, she wanted to accept it and if she had forgot the whole thing she wouldn't be in Richmond with Sam and wouldn't have had the greatest friends on the planet, the girl was very grateful. Maybe Kyle just had to see it that way, hadn't he met good friends? "Well, maybe you're powers have helped you with friendships and it's good in a fight, plus there's nothing wrong with the new you," she didn't know the old him but him right now was really nice.
"I think you're normal as can be but a bit on the crazy side," she said using her two fingers as an example then laughed. "But hey, we're all a little crazy," she said with a smile. She was enjoying this conversation Kyle, he was a nice guy and she could see him being a good friend in the near future. She did wonder who his friends were though, he said he was new to the town so maybe he didn't have any friends, at least not in this town. Or maybe he did make a few friends during the day...just not in a cemetery except for now. "No need to explain yourself, I'm fine with it," she said with a laugh. She didn't want him thinking she got offended, the girl didn't get offended too easily. "Yeah, that makes sense," she wondered who the witch was.
"Well, you never know!" She told him. "Or for someone to accept who you are," she said with a smile. She was positive he'd find someone. There was so much worse out there like vampires, Buffy was dating Angel and look at her she was happy with him. So whatever Kyle was, if he was a demon or something then he'd find someone and they'd be okay with him. The girl laughed a bit awkwardly as he called her pretty, it was a nice compliment but she didn't know in what way he meant it. "And, most likely my friends," she told the man. She wondered if Sam liked Baseball, he was more of a book and laptop kind of guy though. She would need to ask him if he was into sports., maybe he would like baseball, she kind of wanted to text him but decided not to, she could just ask him if he did when she saw him which was most likely tomorrow.
The girl laughed at what he said, "Do you remember the witch's name?" She asked the man. She was wondering if it was Willow and if not then who? She knew there were a lot more witches out there of course and she was told there was on in Mystic Falls, so it made the woman curious if there was anyone else, most likely. She actually pretty shocked at how the man was handling it all, he had basically seen everything besides demons, he needed to see those. Some demons were nice but others...not so nice. She wondered about the supernatural and why did the things they did even vampires even though they had no soul...well the types she knew, apparently there were other types which was really weird. But it did make sense, it was kind of like different races except in vampire form. She has yet to see the different ones, and she kind of didn't want to as they could compel someone apparently. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! "Yeah, we recently reunited. She is basically my best friend." Kyle said, though she had a ton of best friends and he wasn't as close with everyone else in the group like Liz was. He shrugged. "Well we are not alone out there, that much is certain." Kyle told her. Aliens, vampires, god knows what else, if it was all real, then there had to be someone, somewhere, pulling all the strings. Maybe not a "God" per say. Maybe something else something much more evil, that has designs for taking over the world. Kyle knew what he believed, and that was all that mattered.
Has his powers really led him to meet anyone? Kyle didn't know any more. He knew that some people, most in fact, when around him would go from being upset to being in a much better mood. Was he doing it? He didn't know for sure and the chance to test it didn't present itself tonight. Kyle was the one upset tonight, not Sarah. He knew talking to people became friends with him, like Willow a few days ago. But Kyle thought it was because of his calm nature and personality that Willow liked about him, not that he was manipulating her to feel better.
If that is Kyle's ability, he didn't want to use it for personal gain, he wanted people to like him for who he was, not because he can jedi mind trick them into friendship, if that is what it is called. "Thanks." He replied when she said there was nothing wrong with the way he was now. "It... it just keeps me from getting close to people. I'm afraid I am gonna hurt them or something else is gonna go wrong. I didn't have those fears before I turned." Kyle said, he wasn't even sure if the word turned was the correct word here, but it sounded good to him. Turned into an alien.
"Well, my grandfather got put into a nursing home when I was younger cause they say he went crazy." Kyle replied when she said he was a bit crazy. He probably was, he often wondered if he was crazy, not just a bit, but full on crazy. He nodded, maybe someday, it was a nice thought that he could meet someone that didn't care his hands were able to produce their own magical fireworks show any time he got worked up. Surely someone, somewhere wouldn't mind that right? It was a comforting thought, but it felt like looking for a needle in a pile of needles.
"Ok, I will just leave, how bout 6 tickets for you? That way if that is to many they can just turn around and try to sell the rest." Kyle told her, he read between the lines though, especially at the awkward laugh. He didn't mean to make her feel uncomfortable, but now, deep down inside, he knew that she was taken. Deciding not to dwell on the fact that whoever she had was a lucky guy, or girl very long, he decided to ask her another question. "What kinds of friends? Humans, vampirs, others?" Kyle asked, wanting to know what else might be out there.
She then asked him if he remembered who the witch was. "Yeah, her name is Willow. We didn't exchange last names, but she is really nice, I swear you don't have to stop her like you did the vampires. She wouldn't hurt a fly, well she would hurt a frog cause she doesn't like them." Kyle told Sarah, hopping that Sarah wouldn't want Willow dead, but they were both nice people and they would probably get along should they meet and Kyle wasn't to worried about it, but still, it seemed Sarah hunted things in the night and he wasn't sure if witches were on her radar.
"You think she is telling the truth? That she really is a witch? That would be so cool." Kyle told her, he believed her, but then again, he was probably crazy, so it would be nice to have outside confirmation that she is telling the truth and that she really is a witch." What else could be real then, if she is a witch, the things tonight were vampires and you hunt them, then there must be more out there, right?" Kyle asked her, maybe he was crazy, but if he was gonna find 'someone like him', then maybe there was a species of human hybrids out there that would accept him for him.

------------------ ------------------ "Basically?" She said with a head tilt and then laughed. "Seems like you guys had a rough patch before then." there must have been something that had happened considering he used the term 'basically' but then again she could be wrong. "How long have you guys been friends for?" She asked actually taking an interest about his life. Maybe it was the fact that he was so afraid of himself and she wanted to help him or the fact that it seemed he had an interesting history, well he must have since he did have these powers. It was safe to say he wasn't a witch considering witched practiced what they did and they just knew or had someone tell them. He didn't seem like a demon either, but what else was there?
Sarah knew what it felt like not being able to handle a power and being alone. She had faced that when she was called, she was afraid of course because she didn't know what was happening to her, she had all of this strength and power just from waking up the next day, she had thought about trying to contact Sam somehow but resisted and tried to face it on her own. It wasn't too long when Satsu came along and told her who she was now, a slayer who fought vampires and demons, the chosen one just like Buffy, Faith, and her. It was a lot to take in and she had the option to say no but she didn't and she accepted that part of her easily, she hoped Kyle would at some point accept himself. He just had to see the positive sides of having his power, not the negatives. "You're right we aren't alone," she said agreeing with the man. "I wonder what else is out there," she wanted to know really badly.
He had used the word turned...what on earth did that mean? He wasn't a vampire and she knew that, but what else could he be, what turned him? She wanted to decipher it but she wasn't getting any close to it but that was life, people were full of secrets. "You're a good person, I don't think you'd hurt anyone, you should try making more friends," she told the man. "Look at us now, you haven't hurt me," she said with a smile. "If you were going to whether it'd be on purpose or by accident, it would have happened by now," she wanted him to feel comfortable and also feel okay about being himself. He was something and whatever that was then it didn't matter because he was still a good person. The sooner he realized that then the sooner he would be okay with himself and making new friends.
"That doesn't mean you're crazy Kyle," she said reassuring him. "You and your grandfather aren't the same people," he really needed to stop feeling bad for himself. Hopefully that best friend of him was doing a good job at distracting him. Kyle just seemed insecure which he shouldn't be because he was a nice guy and any girl would be lucky to have him. "You really don't have to do that, I mean two or three would be fine," she told him with a smile. he was already being so nice with giving her a ticket. "I have a witch as friend, slayers like me and somewhat of a vampire friend we don't really talk. And then there's my boyfriend, he's a hunter, well hunts vampires and demons not animals," she said with a little laugh.
So he did know Willow, well that was a relief. But she had to laugh, "Witches aren't on my top kill list," she told the man. "It's only vampires and demons, nothing else unless a witch is doing something bad or whatever else is out there doing something bad," she knew how Willow was and as Kyle said, she wouldn't hurt anyone she was to sweet for that. "Yeah, she's a witch, she's actually one of my friends, small world I guess or town," she said to him. "There's definitely a lot more out there, just wait until you see demons, vampires are the easy ones to kill," she told him. "You should really stay away from cemeteries though, it's kind of their home," it was true, they loved walking around in the cemetery but that was because they were usually coming out of their graves or they lived in the cemetery which she never got, maybe for that creepy effect, she'd have to ask someone one day. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! "Well, yeah, I haven't seen her in 5 years and she has a few best friends." Kyle said when she asked what he meant by basically. He knew she still considered him a really really good friend, but it was just hard to think that way when you haven't seen each other in 5 years and when you did see her last, she had to get called away and you couldn't catch up completely. He made a mental note to have a real catch up and talk day. They really needed it, all things considered, he wanted her to consider him her best friend again and vice versa.
"Well, we grew up in the same town, so we knew each other for a long time, but we became boyfriend and girlfriend 7 years ago and then just friends about a half year later. So its a long story." Kyle told her when she asked how long they have been friends. It really was a complicated answer but that is how it basically went down. He wished everything was simple, but it never really was, and he guessed that was because of the aliens, but also because of himself and the choices he made. It was never gonna be just a simple life and he accepted that.
"A lot I would imagine." Kyle said looking up at the stars as a sort of reflex. There was so much out there that he didn't and will probably never understand, and he somehow accepted that as well, didn't mean he had to like it, but he knew that there was nothing he could do about it, not right now anyways. What was worse, as he knew that some of what was out there might not like him that much because of what he was. He wondered if he would be considered a mutt or something. Like in Harry Potter, they didn't like half bloods and dirty bloods. Would other aliens reject him cause he was born human?
"It would just be nice if I could learn to control it." Kyle told her. She did have a point about making more friends, though he was unsure he could trust, and she had even more good points that he hadn't hurt her yet and now that its been awhile then, that meant that he was unlikely to hurt her. He would never hurt her on purpose, but on accident he might, and accidents could happen at any time. That was the problem. Control meant no accidents, which meant Kyle would be able to live without fear of hurting someone else. He didn't have that yet.
"I know, but it comes with the territory. My dad felt the same way I did, fearing that he would go crazy too." Kyle told her, sure it didn't mean he would, but the fear was there. One more thing that he couldn't control and wanted to so badly. Then again, his grandfather wasn't really crazy, aliens were real after all, so he didn't really go crazy, he just got old and accepted what everyone said about him being a crazy old guy. For some reason, ending up like his grandpa was scarier then ending up alone forever.
"Wow, that is a real melting pot of beings." Kyle told her when she listed what she had for friends. The hunter part bothered him. What did he hunt? Vampires, werewolfs? Would he want to hunt an alien if he found one? This made Kyle a little nervous, but she didn't want to kill him, so maybe her boyfriend wouldn't either. "I'd hate to be at that table for thanksgiving. You all must fight constantly." Kyle told her, not really knowing how things worked, if all these different people actually got along really well or not, he was ignorant on the subject.
"So that means you won't want to hunt me if I told you what I was? Would you keep it a secret?" Kyle told her, admitting that he did know exactly what he was, but he was to scared to tell her. She said she didn't hunt people that were not doing anything bad. But it was a big secret and he didn't know if it was ok to tell her. Even if he did what if she told the wrong person? "You know Willow?" Kyle said, that made him feel more comfortable, as Willow was really nice, and he almost told her, but he was scared she might get hurt if she knew the truth.
"Yeah I get that feeling that cemeteries being scary is not just a kids imagination anymore." Kyle told her matter of factly. He did want to tell someone, just to see what happens, and it seemed she could handle herself if things got bad, so he didn't fear for her life, but the trust thing was still there as well as the fact he knew some of the others, mainly Max and Michael, would probably freak out. It was a tough decision and he wished he could ask them what they would do, but he knew their answer would be to keep his mouth shut anyways.

------------------ ------------------ "Five years?! That's a really long time," she said with a slight frown. "But it's good that you guys have each other now right?" She was pretty sure he implied that his best friend was here now, still though, five years? That was crazy, not seeing a friend for that long would drive the woman crazy. Even not seeing her boyfriend, she wondered how Kyle did it. If she didn't have her best friends for five years she would probably be lost. Yes, the girl was independent but still, it was nice to have people who she could lean on and tell things to, without them she just wouldn't be the same, she'd be back in her boring town selling artifacts with her father, there was nothing wrong with that but she liked her life a lot better now, she had people who cared about her and she cared about them. She wondered if Kyle and his best friend felt the same in the past, still close and good friends or do they think they are acquaintances now?
"Seems complicated also," she told the man. She couldn't believe the two were still friends. Usually it was hard to go back to being friends once people broke up but the two managed to do it somehow. "I'm glad you guys survived though, most friendships die," she said to him. Here he was able to still be the girl's friend. "I can't believe it was seven years ago, I think I was in University by then," she told the man. She was glad she didn't have any complicated history, the girl had a pretty simplistic life which she was grateful for. The only bad thing that happened to her was her mother dying and that was a lot to handle, she didn't cope with the world too well but that was life, it was cruel. She didn't want to lose anybody else though, she couldn't, not if she could help it.
"Well have you tried to control it?" She asked him. "I mean at first you suck at something but practice everyday, and if you're determined then one day you'll be able to control your powers," she told him with a smile. He probably wouldn't take her little advice or maybe he already did and he just couldn't control it, she didn't know but it made her curious, to say the least. "Maybe get a dummy or something?" She didn't really know why he could practice on, but she truly did believe in him, she believed he would be able to control his powers at some point, he just needed to think positive. The man seemed to be thinking really negatively for a Buddha, it seemed like his life experienced had a major influence in him and how he acted and she felt bad, she wondered what his story was.
"Well, you're still sane, I don't know about your father but he seems sane too," she said with a small smile. She wondered how his grandfather had gone crazy, did he see a vampire and try and explain to people what he saw? That was one possibility but if it was then Kyle would have said something by now, but he didn't which meant it was something else. The girl laughed, "Yeah, once involved in the supernatural you just kind of meet all these people who know about it as well," it was like an extended family in a way. "We do, but to make it easier we just go a different times, like me hunting tonight and someone does it tomorrow," she informed the man.
"Of course I wouldn't hunt you! You've done nothing wrong and you're a really nice guy," she told him. "And I wouldn't tell a soul, it's your secret and I wouldn't start telling everyone, I'm not that kind of girl," she said hoping he believed her. "Yeah, I know Willow, she's one of my best friends," she said with a smile. She was happy that he was okay now and a lot happier. The girl laughed, "It isn't, it's worse," she hated the cemetery, it was really depressing. She was glad she ran into this man, it seemed as if he needed a friend and she was glad that he wanted another friend.
