- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She had originally planned on working out today, well, at least going for a run however that plan had been shot when she realized that she had a meeting with a committee that she had just recently joined after school meaning that she had to still dress in her school clothes. After the meeting she knew she wouldn’t feel like going home and changing and then driving out to the park. She could have stayed in town and just ran around there but it opened up too many questions and she’d be honest and say she didn’t often see many girls her age working out unless it was at the gym for attention rather than to stay in shape.
Instead after the committee meeting which had taken longer than scheduled yet she knew Caroline well enough to know that she liked to talk and have things perfect so it really hadn’t been a huge surprise to her that it had gone over, she had decided to drive out on her bike to Mid Rivers and walk around the lake there. The lake was large and on one side of it was a large trail for everyone and on the other side it was a wooded area. It was still a trail but most people preferred to stay clear of the wooded area due to animals and such crossing their paths. Clearly this didn’t bother the young brunette so that’s usually where she went when walking around there.
Jumping off of her bike she laid her helmet on top before sliding the keys in her bag that she had wrapped around her. She looked less likely to be heading for a walk and more likely to be heading to the mall but then again she really didn’t care at this point. Her gray tank top and skinny jeans were casual enough as was her pink sweater that hit the bruises from the recent full moon. Her lace flats were shoes that she had about six pairs of in different colors and were more comfortable than any other flat. Her bag which had a random parts of Paris on it was what she carried most of the time as it was light enough to go around her chest yet big enough to carry the essentials. She usually wasn't an accessory type of girl however her ring was on her middle right hand finger and it was the infinity sign, something basic that reminded her of her brother.
She sighed in relief once she had made it to where not only it was shaded but also to where there weren’t an abundance of people around her. She definitely was not someone who liked big crowds.

----------------------- ----------------------- Today Kipp had decided to go for a run, rather than a workout, okay so he didn’t really decide to do this because this was normal for him. Although he ought to also go job hunting sometime, but that could wait the day was too nice not to spend out, which even he could admit to that, after tying his shows, he was out the door and already half way down the street—road, the road was a more even surface. Deciding that he would just run from his cave, in a straight line and see where that took him, to relax and to keep himself away from civilization. Not that he had to worry either way, Kipp usually didn’t even make eye contact with people, eye contact was evil and it was what led to conversations, which were bad.
Kipp managed to run through Richmond, and also through Mystic Falls, making sure to run clear of people, almost avoiding them. Eventually he arrived in another town, Mid Rivers was knew, he was pleasantly happy with this find, as it was just another place for him to hide, on days he couldn’t in Richmond, the town even had woods of its own of which Kipp would be sure to use frequently. There was a river that separated the woods; from the walking trial, but deciding the woods be the best option, because you never knew who was on a walking train, and Kipp didn’t feel up for a surprise meeting.
With how far he had now run Kipp was now sweating profusely, if he had a shirt on then it would have seemed like he had just been swimming. A reason why he didn’t wear one on a run, except for his skins, he didn’t need much just his shorts, sneakers and water bottle, not having transportation was also what he liked, never having to sit in traffic or waste money buying gas. As an additional benefit of being shirtless, people generally did their best to avoid him, for the obvious reason of seeming like a douche that was in love with one person—himself.
Crap, Kipp noticed a young woman, from what the girl was wearing she definitely seemed the type that, both he would hate and also she would despise him. She wore flats, them alone was a clear indicator of this, black skinny jeans and a hot pink jacket. Changing into a distinct South African accent with a tinge of an Australian accent, he spoke wasting no time in trying to force the girl away. “Shouldn’t you be with your boyfriend, making him wait on you?” he said smirking, stretching his arms back and leaning backwards slightly.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Isabella smiled as she watched a few children play in the lake. She knew it was pointless to think about but there were days, often when she didn’t want to think about it, that she grieved not being able to have children. It wasn’t that she physically couldn’t however she had researched to the best of her ability her lycanthropy and from what she could find there was a 50% chance that because she herself was a werewolf that it could be passed on to her children. Again, it wasn’t an exact science since from what she could tell most of the knowledge she had come up with had been guess work based on others work but she still couldn’t even think about taking that chance unless she was sure.
Being a werewolf wasn’t something that she liked…it was something that she despised. It made her different and while different these days was something that people strove to be, she herself just wanted to fit in like everyone else. Unfortunately with her illness as she called it and her soft spoken personality she had two choices…let someone walk all over her or keep to herself. It was a lonely existence but keeping to herself seemed safer than letting someone hurt her or end up hurting someone else.
This did not mean that she didn’t yearn to have children one day because she did. Not that she thought she would ever find the person that she wanted to have children with, but she also knew that it was a dream that she would continue to have until her dying breath. Forcing herself away from her thoughts she continue to walk, though in reality a small part of her wanted to run and show the few that had went by her up since she knew that she was faster than most yet she refrained from doing so, not allowing her hidden competitiveness out into the open.
She could see someone coming from up above but she didn't stop, at least until a fake accented voice stopped her and she looked up, coming face to face with a man in nothing but shorts and a smirk that she for just a small second wished she could smack off his face. This thought surprised her as she wasn't one for violence or for really thinking bad thoughts about anyone really, but his attitude already grated on her nerves as it was clear he thought he was better than everyone else and she had little time for that...or patience for that matter.
Her soft voice spoke firmly and she was surprised by what she herself said though she didn't let it show on her face. "Not that it's any of your business but I don't have a boyfriend and even if I did I am more than capable of doing things myself. Now if you'll excuse me I want to finish my walk." She stated, trying to move past him without anymore confrontation.

----------------------- ----------------------- As Kipp walked closer toward the young woman, he noticed a few children playing in the lake; off to the side of her, thinking how he hated children. He did not hate his sister though—though she was hardly a child anymore, only a couple years younger than he was, he still preferred not to be around them, Kipp wouldn’t even put himself in a position, to be around his own sister if he didn’t have to. That was how much he hated himself, and how utterly evil he was, and he also knew how much of a monster he was, he and as Kipp reached the young woman he knew that she too, were both beasts of what legends were made.
Of course he was able to smell that she was a werewolf, and the young woman probably already knew that he was a werewolf also; maybe even before he realized what she was. Some people might have enjoyed being one, even if that made them slaves to the moon, Kipp couldn’t understand that if there was anyone, she assumed that the young woman hated herself just as much. If she didn’t then Kipp was going to make her see his way, but he didn’t care if she hated herself, he just wanted to convince her that he was dangerous, and that she shouldn’t be around him; because bad things happen then.
As his attention once again was drawn to the children splashing, it was almost enough to make Kipp want to leave—running far away, and probably to somewhere he was able to rub their goodness; and innocence off. He was so evil, that Kipp actually believed, that his very presence tainted the very air the children breathed, this was a ridiculous thought and quite impossible, it was just how much Kipp despised what he was. He didn’t think sensibly most of the time.
The young woman didn’t deserve how he spoke to her, deep down Kipp knew this but despite being the same dark creature he was; it was for her own good. So he would continue acting like a complete jerk, and hopefully she would eventually leave him alone, just like everybody usually did, saving the the trouble of ever getting to know him, because if she did then there was really only one path that led too; and that involved hurting her, and this wasn’t something that he would allow.
Kipp smirked his cruel smile, just like everybody time when he was about to say something nasty to someone. He was going to have fun with her, because she was so easily worked up, it was obvious that she hadn’t liked his statement; or how he said it. “Really, but I guess you wouldn’t have one.” Kipp said shrugging, and walking over to lean on the nearest tree—crossing his arms over his chest, but he didn’t stop there, he still had more to say to the young woman that would hopefully get her to hate him. “You see, us two are a lot alike... We’re both savage beasts.” Kipp was still trying as best he could to insult her, but he didn’t stop there, “there is only one reason why you would be watching those children, we both know that nobody would want to have them with a beast.” Kipp said, targeting her parental instinct—hoping that the young woman even had one.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -A soft breeze caused the trees to flutter around them, kicking the leaves up as the wind blew them, and Isabella caught the scent that she hadn’t before. She groaned internally, realizing that the man standing in front of her with his shit eating grin and his terrible attitude was not a man at all, but a werewolf. She had avoided them at all costs over the past few years as she had never met one that gave her a good feeling. Even Gabriel Cross, the man that she had trusted more than any other werewolf she had come across still caused her to doubt things and that wasn’t a good feeling though it was becoming better all the time.
She noticed him staring at the children and she felt a protectiveness well up in her for those children. Isabella might be shy and quiet however there was one thing that got her going and that was children. She didn't care if she didn't know the child or not, she would turn into Mama Bear...or Mama Wolf as the case may be with her and would protect them with her dying breath. It didn't matter who the child was, she wouldn't allow harm to come to them if she had anything to say about it. She kept her eyes on the man in front of her cautiously, wanting nothing more than to make it to where she was in front of him and not to the side so that his eyes were on her and not on the kids. He didn’t seem like he would attack them but she didn’t know him so she couldn’t be sure. She saw the smile that graced his lips before he spoke and she knew that whatever he said wasn't going to be pleasant. It was cruel and vile and she wanted to slap it off his face while at the same time something deep in his eyes told her that what she was seeing was a mask, not his real person. She didn't know why since the words spewing out of his mouth were hurtful...but they were meant to be. “I don’t think you and I are anything alike other than the fact that we were both bitten. I can see that while you may hate yourself as much as I do…you still allow yourself freedom that I don’t.” She told him firmly, standing straighter and talking stronger than she usually did, however something about this told her that she needed to stand her ground or else she’d be running away with her tail between her legs…literally.
“I may not have children because some jackass decided to bite me when I was a little older than those children…however do not mistake me for being like you.” She hissed at him. “Do you allow yourself to roam free during a full moon? Do you give yourself the chance to bite someone if they accidentally cross your path?” She asked harshly, her eyes hard and her lips tight, waiting for an answer.

----------------------- ----------------------- Kipp knew there was a reason he should have stayed in his cave, the day had been too nice; he should have known people would be out. Every ounce of him, said that he should turn tail and run far in the other direction, but the day was quickly making his attitude sour, and some of the day’s goodness was starting to rub off on him, because he wanted to take his drama out, on the girl in front of him. He hated seeing somebody who was in a good mood, if they happened to be a werewolf as well, he despised them that much more, not understanding how you could be happy and be a werewolf. Really though it wasn’t their disposition that bothered him, Kipp couldn’t understand it; he had been expecting the werewolf in front of him, to be like he was.
He had half a mind to frighten the playful children off, of course he noticed the look she had given him, and a small smirk lifted his lips. Of course he would never harm a child and at the best of times, he found it hard not to hate himself for how he treated people, but if it scaring the children meant she would want nothing to do with him, Kipp was more than willing to do just that. Predicable really or at least he just assumed all young women had a universal protectiveness, when it came to youngsters.
He was surprised how much fight she had; it excited him while at the same time reminding him of two others. Fighters were always so fun, and always so easy to get worked up, Kipp preferred them to shy people because if they were the latter, he felt horrible because his actions at times could be cruel. But there was one thing that he did not understand how he allowed himself more freedom then she did, he was the one who lived in a cave—away from suburbia, unless she went a step beyond that, how unlikely it was.
“Really, oh please do go on. Why do I have more freedom then you do?” Kipp said in his usual drone—almost condescending, just shy of petting the girl on her forehead. Shrugging his shoulders, he then said in cynical pleasure, “I guess appearances can be deceiving, didn’t think I was talking to a big girl.” referring to how she had straightened.
Cringing, Kipp did feel incredibly bad for the cards fate had given her; he had been given almost the exact hand she had, that still didn’t mean he could afford anything other, then having her hate him. She did have him curious though, what does she mean by her question, of course we have to roam free, it’s not like we have any control. Annoyed by her question and that he didn’t know what she was asking, Kipp decided to take it out on the children.
Not by hurting them, he wouldn’t ever intentionally harm anybody if they weren’t deserving of it. But the girl obviously didn’t think that, maybe it would teach her to not be so self-righteous, they were both the same, and they were both like every other werewolf. “Hold that thought, babe.” Kipp stated, before turning to move toward the playful children. “Hey, get out of here brats the grownups need to talk!”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She was not a violent person yet a large part of her wanted to reach around and smack this man standing in front of her right across the face. She didn’t like the smirk that sat upon it nor did she like the fact that his arrogance showed no bounds. She could tell that he was an asshole just from the way he carried himself and if there was one thing she could not tolerate it was rude people. Add to that the fact that it was clear as day that the thought of messing with those kids amused him and it was all out war.
Isabella may not have children herself and she may never have them, but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t turn into Mama Bear…or Mama Wolf as the case may truly be…if a child was in trouble. She loved children, had for years and she would die for any child out there no matter whose kid it was. She would gladly throw herself in front of a bus or a bullet if it was to save a child and anyone who knew her could easily back her up on that statement. With that being said she kept him in her range of sight, never taking her eyes off of him as the minute that he made his move to hurt any of those kids she would be on him quicker than he could imagine.
Sure she may be a girl and sure she may be small, but she also had the strength of a werewolf inside her. So did he true however that didn’t mean that he would win. She had been a werewolf a long time and while she had no idea how old he was when he was bitten she didn’t care. Mothers had been known to pick up cars off of their children…she could guarantee if he hurt a child she’d take him out and have no qualms about it.
"I didn't say you had more freedom than I did, I asked you." She told him, her eyes holding fire though her posture gave away that she was still uncomfortable. "Just because I am not a raging bitch like some others doesn't mean that won't stand up for what I believe in. I asked you if you allowed yourself to be near people during a full moon or if you keep yourself safe from them. That was my question, I'm still waiting for an answer." She stated, surprised at her own audacity.
She took off after the man almost immediately and without thinking about it grabbed his arm, showing a tiny bit of her strength. "Leave. Them. Alone." She told him with a harsh glare, not realizing that as the wind blew, it blew a scent off of her that she didn't catch in time. It was the scent of the man she had spent the previous night with as a wolf. The scent of Gabriel Cross. She didn’t notice it and even if she had she wouldn’t realize what it meant…but another wolf might.

----------------------- ----------------------- Kipp could only smirk, he loved the usual first impression he made on people; on the girl in front of him now. Although he wasn’t really like how he behaved, it was still much better than the alternative. It had quickly become apparent that she was a werewolf, and Kipp was certain that she was able to sense that about him too. Lucid thinking told Kipp, that he wouldn’t be able to hurt her. However he was far too damaged, to ever think coherently, he was powerless to escape his past deeds, and powerless to outrun what he was.
He didn’t think much of her; to him she was acting like the typical motherly figure. It was sweet and though Kipp would never admit it, she was endearing too. Although he would keep pretending that he didn’t much care for her, the small part of him—his true nature deep down, did respect her. If anything happened, if one of the children slipped on a rock, Kipp wouldn’t hesitate rushing to their aid. Even if that meant showing to her, what he was actually like, because of this Kipp prayed that the children didn’t get caught into any trouble.
She girl was more than capable of taking him in a fight, she was also a werewolf. Probably a better one then he was too, at least she seemed to be more in control. Knowing this she should be one of the few people that Kipp was able to get close to, since she was also a werewolf. It was almost assured that he wouldn’t hurt her. Not that he would ever believe that, maybe before but so many other people have got hurt because of him, Kipp was still unwilling to believe she would be any different.
She spoke with fiery passion in her eyes, and Kipp found her—without realizing, that he was finding her more interesting as the moments past. “In case you’re forgetting sweetheart.” He said his Australian accent, making the statement sound harsher with his indifferent drone. “We’re both animals that attack by nature,” Kipp said “But please, by all means if you know how to keep away from people during a full moon. Then I’m all ears. He said sarcastically.
When he began moving toward the playful children, Kipp was surprised she managed to catch hold of his arm as quickly as she had. Though he shouldn’t have been, she had after all been watching him, like eyes of an eagle. Wind blowing, Kipp was close enough to smell the scent of another of their kind.
“So you do have some guy hanging off your arm.” Kipp said turning into her, before he went to forcefully move her off to one side. Walking past her Kipp searched until he found a rock he was able to sit on, because he hated Gabriel Cross, and he was certain Gabriel thought as little of him. Annoying his girl would surely have to get some sort of reaction from the man.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She wanted to punch him and at the same time she wanted to get to know him a little better to see if he was really the jackass that he made himself out to be. Not that she would ever speak out like that since that wasn't who she was but still, it was nice to be able to think about it at least. She shot him a glare, keeping in between him and the children that he had yelled at. She wanted to know why he found such pleasure in messing with kids but she bit her tongue for the moment as to not cause any more tension.
Not that she cared…but she did want those kids to be safe.
“Don’t you dare compare me to an animal. I may have one inside me but that does not in any way, shape or form state that I am an animal myself. Three days out of the month an animal takes over my body, but that does not mean that I am the same thing. I am a soft spoken person and the animal inside is a beast…I have never hurt anyone outside of those three days of the month…nor have I allowed the beast inside to hurt anyone during those three days a month. So don’t speak about what you don’t know.” She stated, though it came out as more of a growl. Her eyes though unbeknownst to her had turned almost an amber color before she took a deep breath to calm herself down, not wanting to allow the wolf inside to shake her control.
She could hear the sarcasm in his voice when he asked how she kept away from people on a full moon that she wondered if he was actually curious. “I lock myself in a cage full of silver bars, I shoot myself up with wolfs bane and I keep the cage in an area that no human would ever go near. I also have the cage inside a steal and silver enforced room so that the wolf by some miracle did escape the cage, it wouldn’t get further than the room. I’ve spent a lot of years perfecting the way to keep myself as well as others safe and I will have you know it has never failed. I’m one of the few werewolves out there who can honestly say I have never bitten, killed or harmed a human being. Can you say the same thing?” She asked.
She didn’t know what he meant when he said that she had a man hanging off her arm but it wasn’t the case at all. “I’m not sure what you mean but I do believe I told you already that I do not have a boyfriend.” She stated, noting that he had sat on a rock and made her way towards him, sitting on another rock so that she was still in between him and the kids. She didn’t trust him not to bolt as soon as she relaxed so she kept herself ready to pounce as the case may be. She wouldn’t let him hurt those children.

Post by Kipp Lawrence Xavier on Nov 19, 2013 7:47:22 GMT -6
----------------------- ----------------------- Kipp was thoroughly amused, with the worry he was causing her, he would never harm such playful and blameless children. He was trying harder than usual though, simply because she was getting so worked up, it was almost too easy to get her to hate him. Kipp wondered. If he should make her an exception, it didn’t seem fair, how she seemed almost as innocent as the children playing.
But he hated the fact that she seemed to be so in control, because although he was clearly getting some sort of reaction out of her. She seemed to be a whole lot more grown up then he was, she also didn’t look older then he was. If anything he was older then her, Kipp guessed she was on the higher end of being a teenager. It was insane to think that somebody younger then he was, was capable of handling being a werewolf more then he could,
Kipp couldn’t stop the grin—a wild smirk appearing on across his lips. He was doing everything he could, to not laugh knowing then, that he would most certainly be hit for not listening. “Hey now if you say that you’re not an animal, then I believe you.” He stated raising his hands as a sort of deriding surrender, a way to poke fun at her long clarification. Kipp in doing this actually meant, Hey now there’s no reason to get so defensive.
However he knew when he was, perhaps pushing luck a little too far, as Kipp noticed the growl in her voice, her eyes turning orange like a shade of amber. He took a small, but a step nonetheless back. He wasn’t really afraid, but nobody enjoyed being hit, and at the current moment Kipp could sense that was a real possibility.
Something then changed in his demeanour, saw it change from within his eyes; Kipp with not being able to stop, he softened. He was speechless as he heard how she kept the wolf at bay but he also admired her, which wasn’t something that he could admit a lot. Somebody who did this, it was unheard of, at least for him, and there was a small part of Kipp that still didn’t quite believe what was being told to him.
“I—I’m,” He didn’t know what to say, let alone how to apologize; it’s been so long since he has. Though he didn’t think that one word would be enough for her to catch on that he was trying to apologize to her, Kipp didn’t even know what he had began to. He instead had wanted to ask her how she was able to do this, and learn more about her cage because here he was. Thinking that he was doing the right thing by everyone, staying hidden within his cave, unaware at the possibility that he was able to do more than that even, all he was able to stand there gobsmacked staring at her—almost like a broken toy robot.
Kipp needed to sit down, now more so since learning of some magical cave able of keeping a werewolf inside the confines—like a prison for beasts like him. But he also had to snort with amusement, at how innocent she seemed to be. It was even a little bit cute, making her all the more enjoyable to pester. “So your just earning yourself some extra little benefits then?” he stated smirking a wicked grin, insinuating that she was more than just friends, but not quite seeing dating the man who he could so obviously smell on her.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She didn't know why this man in front of her irked her so much but he did. On one hand she wanted to hit him...hard. And on the other she felt herself feeling drawn to him. She knew a part of it was that he was a fellow werewolf. She always tried to steer clear of other werewolves because on one hand they scared the holy hell out of her and on the other because they were similar she felt herself drawn to them. She knew that was part of the whole issue with Gabriel though she knew there was also more to it than that.
She felt the wolf coming closer to the surface and she herself also took a step back, noticing that he had done the same thing as well. She knew she had to get it together and that’s exactly what she intended to do. She closed her eyes, still keeping her senses on red alert as she didn’t trust this man as far as those kids could throw him, and took a deep breath, forcing the wolf down. She shouted in her mind that it needed to stay down. Her brother had once nicknamed the wolf Luna so that’s the way she differentiated between the two of them. She felt Luna recede into the darker parts of her mind and body and allowed her eyes to open again, their normal color returning.
She watched in astonishment as Kipp’s eyes seemed to soften in front of her and she wasn’t really sure the reason for it but she was glad for it. She didn’t like fighting, didn’t like arguing, and didn’t care for being this keyed up. It frightened her because she knew that she would do anything to protect those children and that included things that she wouldn’t be able to live with herself for afterwards.
She heard him stumble over the words but she could hear in the silence that it was his way of apologizing. "No need." She told him, waving it off so that he didn't try again. "It happens." She told him though immediately regretted forgiving him since of course he had to turn on the asshole factor as soon as she had and say something ignorant about benefits. “And what exactly is that supposed to mean?” She asked, her hands on her hips but more playful than actual angry at this point.
She didn’t know why he seemed to always want to be an asshole but it almost seemed as if he was scared to be genuine. She had seen it, only moments before hand when he looked at her in almost awe…and yet he had to jump back into being rude. “Why do you push people away like you do?” She asked him, getting into the heart of the issue. “You could easily have asked me why or how or anything like that, yet you jump from one thing to the other and it’s always mean…why? What are you so afraid of?”

----------------------- ----------------------- Kipp didn’t like the girl; she didn’t like her from the first moment he laid eyes on her. Not understanding how she was so—carefree and in control, it was petty jealously, the emotion that he was feeling. Jealously because she has done, what he has failed to do, and that was keep the werewolf within under control. He’s hurt people more people, the reason why he was such a broken mess today. Maybe, if he knew how to not hurt people, he would lock himself within a cage as she told him, and then maybe he could still have been together with Rylee.
That night he had spent with Lilly-Beth, came close to perfection. He had almost forgotten, in that brief period that he had let his guard down, how good it had just felt to hold somebody. A mistake he would not allow himself to make again, from that moment on, he would need to be wary of both Lilly-Beth and Ruby, they both were such free spirited young women; it even caused him to forget how evil he was. Never again though, he would just have to push his emotions further down, either that, or try and convince the feisty hybrid to introduce him to some Klaus person.
Kipp hadn’t meant his expression to soften; truthfully he would have preferred it hadn’t. It was going to make things a whole lot harder on him now, convincing her why it was that she should keep away from him. He had been caught off guard by her revelation, as she mentioned about keeping werewolves at pay. Unheard of until now and even now, Kipp didn’t believe it, it was crazy what she had just said after all.
Most people would be thankful for an apology being waved off, but Kipp was so broken he still thought it was his fault. What was she doing apologizing to him, something that he wasn’t worthy of having somebody do. This conversation was now turning badly, going in a direction that he could not allow.
“Don’t,” Kipp stated coldly, it was only one word but she would no doubt understand it’s meaning, without needing an explanation. At least he hoped she would, he was never too good when it came to explaining all of his many issues.
It was a defence mechanism of his, when he started acting the way he did. Especially when he felt somebody getting through to him, as she was doing now. However the girl definitely was cute, even when she was trying to be angry, Kipp almost felt bad for what he was about to say. As she stood facing him, her hands on her hips, Kipp couldn’t shake the feeling that she was actually being playful, which he hated.
“I just called you easy,” he stated shrugging, deciding to pick up his game. She was definitely a determined young woman. But if he was able to insult her outright, then she would have no choice but to hate him.
But once again he was shocked by how forward she was. Getting almost to the heart of his issues, a question that he had no plans on answering, let alone to a meddlesome young woman, who didn’t take advice well. “Stop!” he shouted, not caring if he startled the children her not. “What are you a shrink, god woman.” He stated standing and creating space between them. Kipp wasn’t trying to be mean or anything of the sorts now, he didn’t have anything left, his temper was starting to get the best of him. “Ground rules, now!” Kipp continued his little rant, as an almost growl came forth. “I ask no questions about you, and you sure as hell don’t ask questions about me.”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She was done with this event. She didn’t even know why she bothered but she could tell you right now she would not continue to do so. She didn’t know why this kid was so damn bipolar but she had enough of it. She thought she had detected a bit of softening towards her but his eyes then turned cold once more and she figured there was nothing to do. She watched as the children were gathered up by their parents and once they were out of her sight she turned a glare towards the male werewolf in front of her. “I’m done.” She told him simply, hiking her bag up on her arm before taking a large breath.
“You act like you are the victim in everything but in reality the only person to blame for you not having anyone to care about you is yourself! I tried to be nice, you were an ass. I pushed back and you softened. Which is it and pick a side! Either that or go see a doctor and get on some bipolar medication because quite frankly your mood swings are giving me whiplash!” She told him. “So goodbye Kipp. I really hope I don’t see you again.” She sneered, completely unlike her usual self but he had pushed her and she was going to push right back.
She usually wouldn’t turn her back on him but she knew she could control herself and her senses were still a bit heightened since the full moon had only been a few days before hand. She knew that she would be able to sense if he tried to attack and for that reason alone she turned on her heel and walked steadily but quickly away from him. It didn’t take her long before she was at her motorcycle and she was grateful for that.
Pushing her bag into the seat of her bike she slid on her helmet, pushing her hair inside it so that it wouldn’t whip in the wind. Once situated she kicked off and relished in the loud growl of her motorcycle. This thing was her baby and she treated it as such. She took another look at the beach before she sped off towards her apartment. She didn’t know why this man had gotten under her skin and now that she had gotten away from the situation she felt ashamed of the way she had spoken. Even in the wind she could feel the heat of her blush gracing her cheeks but there was nothing she could do about it now.
Other than pretend it never happened.
