Entering this establishment, Rebekah thought it seemed like a dive, a seedy bar that she normally wouldn't be caught dead in. Her fears were confirmed as she opened the door and approached the bar. She knew what these things were, ugly disgusting demons, the lot of them. One of them attempted to pinch her butt and she growled at him. "Don't make me break your neck." She told the demon. The man took the hint and quickly stood up and left the bar as if his life depended on it, which in this case it did. She took her seat at the bar.
It wasn't till she actually looked at the person near her that she recognized her. "Elena?" She asked, though why would Elena be here? Rebekah wouldn't even be here herself if the owner and bartenders Of the Mystic Grill all knew who she was and they all knew that she was suppose to be in high school. So compelling them to allow her to drink their alcohol got tedious and really she didn't want to go through the trouble today. This place was seedy enough that the bartender probably won't give a damn how old she looked. But Rebekah knew who it was now.
"Katherine, you have some guts being this close to Mystic Falls, what with my brother back in town." Rebekah told her turning to the bartender. "Just give me some whisky and leave the bottle." She told him, she was in no mood to be nice right now. The bartender, who probably see's all kinds of various ages and power knew not to mess with her as he set a shot glass down and a bottle of Jack Daniels in front of her. She pushed the shot glass aside and grabbed the bottle, taking a drink from it. "Who needs guys anyways." Rebekah said more or less to herself.

Rebekah about wanted to rip Katherine's head off at her comment about being daggered and all of that. But she refrained. She just shrugged. "And I have been running wild for 500 years before you were even out of diapers." Rebekah pointed out. She really didn't want to get into a fight tonight, least of all with Katarina Petrova. But she at least had to come up with some sort of a witty comeback. Katherine would understand that. She took another long hard swing of her whisky, feeling a little bit better about her life right now.
But when the other girl chirped in with an amen to that Rebekah couldn't help but smile at her. Was she really having a bonding moment with Katherine Pierce of all people? Feeling like she was in the twilight zone or something she nodded. "Men, can't live with them, can drain them completely of their blood." Rebekah told her with a small laugh. She took another drink of her whisky and then offered it to Katherine. "Join me in a drink?" Rebekah asked her, she really couldn't believe she was talking with Katherine and not wanting to rip her head off.
"A vampire who is a school teacher." Rebekah scoffed as Katherine asked her who messed with the ice queens heart this time. She didn't mind the nickname, but just thinking of Noah pissed her off right now. "I mean, maybe what I did wasn't completely right, but he dumped me because he is a morally right jerk that refused to help me." Rebekah said, taking the whisky back and drinking a lot of it down quickly. "God, I wonder why I have never tried to be a lesbian. Well there was that one time in france." Rebekah said with a laugh.
"Still, the girls would break my heart as well. I am probably better off not even looking for love." Rebekah told her, knowing that Katherine probably didn't give a damn, still it was nice to get it off her chest.

"Where would the fun be in that?" Rebekah asked Katherine as she said to make sure to not drain them when they had her blood in them. "Then I can kill them all over again. I get to kill them twice." Rebekah pointed out, sometimes she thought that way, just to be extra diabolical she would make sure they came back only to kill them all over again. She sighed. "And the worst part was, I wanted to change for him. I wanted to be a good girl for him, and he does this to me?" Rebekah asks her, seeing how silly it was she was willing to do that for Noah.
Sharing a drink with Katherine was weird. This was the same girl that Nik wanted to kill 500 years ago. But the other girl was listening to Rebekah go on and on about her crappy love life, so the least Rebekah could do was share her Whisky with her. It wasn't like Rebekah hated Katherine, it was Nik who was the one who had it out for the 500 year old vampire. Rebekah didn't give a rats ass either way about her, not really. Sure she doubted that would ever be friends, but she would be lying if she said she hated Katherine plain and simple, as she didn't know her well enough to pass judgement.
"Yeah, sometimes I think it would be better to just flip it off, you know." Rebekah told Katherine, it was the truth, since Noah broke up with her, all she wanted to do was flip the switch, but she couldn't, not when she had to take care of Zan. "Yeah compelling him to love me? That would be worse then him not loving me at all." Rebekah told Katherine when she asked why couldn't she just compel Noah to forgive her. It wouldn't be real, he had to forgive her for real or otherwise she would except it. "Ugh, you and Elijah." Rebekah said to her, she never did understand what Elijah saw in Katherine.
Rebekah shrugged, she wasn't grossed out by sex with a girl, but she never really met a girl she wanted to try it with, even that one time in france was just an experiment. "Maybe, I have heard that women make better lovers." Rebekah pointed out with a giggle. "Now I need more to drink." Rebekah said when Katherine talked to her about love. Love was really the last thing she wanted right now and to talk about it with Katherine was even worse. "Well, after 1000 years you run out of stuff to live for." She told Katherine honestly. Rebekah wished she could have a normal life for once and one day just pass on naturally, but it didn't seem like it was gonna happen.

Rebekah giggled as Katherine agreed with her on it being satisfying to be able to kill them all over again. Though Rebekah hadn't hurt anyone in quite a while, she still thought that way sometimes, especially now that Noah broke up with her. All she thought about was how silly she had been for being a good girl for him, caring what he thought about her. It pissed her off really more then upset her, as she just wanted to take it all back and go back in time before she met Noah and Zan and be a bitch again, like everyone expected her to be.
"Yeah, thanks for not telling me that sooner." Rebekah responded when Katherine told her that trying to change for him was just a waste of time. She agreed with it and now no matter what, if a guy wanted to get with Rebekah, they would have to accept her the way she was and that was a bratty bitch that always got her way and didn't care what people thought. She would be the first to admit that, that was exactly what she was, she wouldn't deny it, it was the whole truth. "No more of that, from now on I am myself and if they don't like it they can go to hell." Rebekah said taking another drink of her alcohol.
"You know I don't completely hate you right now." Rebekah said to her with a chuckle. That was the closest Katherine was gonna get to a compliment from Rebekah. "Well..." Rebekah said, biting her lip, she wouldn't and couldn't tell Katherine about Zander. She still had him to look out for and she couldn't paint the town red as Katherine put it, not at the current time anyways. She shrugged. "Just some personal stuff that is more important then having fun." Rebekah said, that was the most Katherine was gonna get from her on that topic.
"Yes, I did so enjoy painting the town red as you put it." Rebekah said with a smile, she then got a disgusted look on her face. "Ew, Elijah is so not fun, no offense sweety, but a stick in the mud in more fun then he is." Rebekah said with a giggle. She then smiled, pouring some of her whisky in Katherine's glass, feeling it up. "Hear hear, though it was fun to pretend to be his student." Rebekah said with a wink when she said to forget about the school teacher. "Maybe someday I will flip the switch and we can properly hang out?" Rebekah offered.

"Really? You mean it?" Rebekah asked Katherine. Not that many people told Rebekah that they didn't hate her. She just shrugged and smiled at her. "Its just hard to know that people can like you when all they do is tell you that they hate you, you know." Rebekah stated simply. Another reason she wished she could shut it off. Everyone ignored her or made fun of her or worse. And some people flat out stated that they hated her even though she never really did anything to them, and if she did, she tried to apologize for it and get along with them.
"Yes, more important then fun, way more." Rebekah replied. She knew Katherine was fishing for the reason but she wasn't sure if she could trust her. She sighed. "You, you won't make fun of me or try to do something bad?" Rebekah asked her. "You know I will hunt you down and rip you to shreds if you betray me over this." Rebekah told her truthfully. Katherine wasn't stupid, so she wasn't likely to try anything to hurt Zan, still Rebekah was worried about it and she took a deep breath and nodded, showing her that she was gonna tell her.
"I adopted a kid, I wanted Noah and I to start a family. It is why we broke up, he thought I was doing something bad, but really Zan is better off with me then where he was, if you can believe it or not." Rebekah told her honestly. "So now you know, you better not make me regret telling you, I am nice now but you know that can change." Rebekah warned her again. She didn't yet trust Katherine but she was stronger then her, so she knew better then to cross her, still Katherine was to unpredictable for Rebekah to make assumptions.
"Well I planned to, yes." Rebekah replied when Katherine asked her if she had to wear a uniform. Rebekah planned on bringing him an apple wearing a sexy school girl uniform before class and taking him on his desk. But they never got to it. She shrugged. "I only had to wear it once." She stated simply. The girl then agreed to hang with her if she turned her humanity off. "Cool, I can honestly think of no one that I know would be more fun being a bad girl with. Take that as a compliment if you want." Rebekah stated with a smile.

"Well if it makes you feel any better, I don't hate you. I only did what I did back then cause of Nik. It was nothing personal. But don't pretend like this makes us besties or anything. At best we are... drinking buddies." Rebekah said to her with a smile. Katherine really wasn't that bad, if anything she was the kind of girl Rebekah didn't mind hanging out with. She didn't pretend like everything was sunshine and daisies like all the other god forsaken girls in this god forsaken town, and she knew how to hold her alcohol as well, which was a bonus.
"You and me both." Rebekah said when Katherine said she needed a new boy toy. That's all Rebekah wanted right now from a boy, and that was a toy, nothing more nothing less. She for sure as heck didn't want another "Relationship" that would for sure end in disaster, all she wanted was fun. She shrugged, not telling Katherine one way or another rather or not she loved Noah, though from the heavy drinking and the general dislike of all guys right now, Katherine would probably be able to guess the answer as an yes fairly easily.
"Well, I guess kidnapped would be a better word. Its not like I took him from a loving home or anything. Both of his parents are dead and he was beaten and picked on and I sort of rescued him." Rebekah told her honestly. She didn't like that world, kidnap. It wasn't really kidnapping as he wanted to go with her and besides, for him to be kidnapped, he would have to have people that cared about him, which as far as Rebekah knew, Zan was completely alone in this world before she met him, so she thought she was doing the right thing. Noah never gave her a chance to explain that.
She nodded as Katherine agreed that turning it off would be difficult. "Yeah, if I turn it off I will probably make Zan a midnight snack tonight." Rebekah said, she really couldn't imagine sinking her teeth into Zan's neck and drinking him dry, but if she had no humanity, she wouldn't care and she wouldn't be able to stop herself. "Thankfully, that is a site no one will be able to see now." Rebekah told Katherine honestly. She really didn't want Katherine or anyone to see her in pigtails. How gaudy. She laughed and nodded as she said she prided herself on how good she was at being bad.
Rebekah looked at her watch quickly. "Shoot, the babysitter gets off at 10 and last thing I want is to stumble into my brothers house in front of Zan slobbering drunk." Rebekah told Katherine, handing her the only half empty bottle. "Be a doll and finish this for me, hopefully we can hang out again soon?" Rebekah asked her, placing some money on the counter to pay for both of their drinks for the entire evening. "And drink up on me, someone has to have fun for both of us tonight." Rebekah said leaving the bar.
