----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore walked through the square and smiled as the air whipped around her. It felt good. Not that she really felt it per se. Yeah, she felt a slight draft, but ti didn't really affect her. But it was a beautiful night. It almost reminded her of when she had been human. She had often gone on walks like this. Even then she had enjoyed the night. After she had turned, she had learned to enjoy the night even more as the sun was a bit harsher on her than it used to be. But at least she could still go out in the sun, so she supposed that was a plus. But yeah, she enjoyed the night. As she continued down the town square, she looked around. It sure looked different at night. Not a bad different as some places could be. It was just more... peaceful...she supposed the word was. And she liked peaceful. It was better than having a city look creepy at night. Which some did, but not Richmond. No, Richmond looked calm, soothing. It was nice. She loved the nighttime because it gave her a chance to think without having to worry about running into someone. Not that she was antisocial by any means, but sometimes it was just nice to be able to hear yourself think. And evenings were great for that. And at least Lenore wasn't having to worry about anything dire like a life or death situation, which meant that she could just let her mind go blank. Yeah, Lenore was definitely happy. -----------------------

Sophia walked through town square slowly putzing about. A hot coffee in her hand the other in her coat pocket. Sophia wore a pair of skinny jeans with black boot and a plain white top and black jacket. She was not cold really. Just hiding a few weapons she had on her. Not that she intended to run across anything tonight. But you never knew and it was always go to be prepared. Sophia bite her lip she felt awkward in this town. She did not have really any friends. It was more her fault for distancing herself. But still she was starting to feel lonely.
God she needed to get out more. A sigh escaped her lips as she plopped down on a bench in time square. She raised the hot coffee to her lips taking a small sip. She was seriously addicted to the stuff. Sophia barely went a day without coffee. She enjoyed the kick it gave her. Sure it was unhealthy but she was allowed to be unhealthy she was twenty three. It was encouraged.
Sophia's bright eyes wandered around time square you could gaze at all the local stores it seemed. She had recently applied for a job at the coffee shop and was sure she would get it. She needed money after all. Not to mention their was the slight hope of free coffee. But only time would tell if she would get it. Sophia had done her best to charm the interviewer. Something she was getting better at. She was not a hostile person or anything she just kept to herself mostly. But she knew she would need to work on that especially if she wanted information from people.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore continued walking about the town square, enjoying the peace and quiet of the night. She really did enjoy this type of night. It was so peaceful and quiet, and really, who didn't like that? Well, it wasn't like she hadn't experienced many nights like this before, but to her, each one was special. And that made her sound like a pathetic sap. Oh well. At least she hadn't said it out loud. That would've been really bad. Well, if someone had overheard her. And she kind of doubted someone would as she could always speak too softly for human ears and who would want to eavesdrop on her anyways? She was incredibly boring. However, incredibly enough, Willow didn't seem to think so. Willow. Just thinking about her was enough to make her blush. But how could she not? Especially on a night like this. She would probably love it. Smiling, the vampire made a mental note to invite her to take a walk with her one night. Yes, she had it extremely bad. If Eli or any of the others found out, she could just imagine the teasing they would do. The scent of coffee broke her out of her reverie and she looked around. Who had coffee? She wanted some. She loved coffee and grabbing a cup would help her to pretend to be human who needed a warm drink to fight off the cold. So yeah, she was going to go to one of the shops and grab a cup and then continue her walk. Yeah, that sounded like a good idea. But first, she had to figure out which shop she wanted to lend her business to tonight. Yes, deciding that first was key. She was so intent on finding a coffee shop that she completely forgot to watch where she was going. OOC Hope the last part's okay. I figured that they could (literally) bump into one another on the square. If not, let me know and I can edit the post's ending. -----------------------

Sophia eyes remained fixated on the store front before her a wiccan shop of sorts. she had passed it a few times but never went in. Her brow furrowed for a moment wondering why she had yet to check it out. Maybe there was something about it that deterred her. Not that wiccans were bad but they did attract other supernatural beings. She sat up a little straighter at the thought. Hmm, maybe she should check it out.
But before she could make up her mind to act on it someone bumped into her bench. It moved it so much she spilled some hot coffee on herself. Sophia immediately stood up in upset. "Ouch." she said her free hand brushing at the hot liquid on her pants. She turned to see a culprit and her bright eyes stopped on a woman. A Brunette. Sophia immediately hoped the other girl had not hurt herself. She set her own anger aside for the moment. "Are you okay?" she asked wiping her leg one last time before sanding up straight.
Sophia took her in more fully now her eyes taking her in. She was cute and out alone. "You should be careful these benches can be unforgiving." she teased trying to lighten the mood to show she was not to upset. Sophia gave a small smile it was not to bad she had not spilled all over it on herself and she had more jeans where these came from. She was not the materialistic sort of girl. Maybe this was the opportunity she had been looking for to make more friends. "Hi, I'm Sophia" she said politely offering a hand for the other girl to shake.

----------------------- ----------------------- Well, this was just embarrassing. She had been thinking about Willow so much that she had bumped into a bench, causing this girl to spill coffee all over herself. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" she gasped as the girl let out an exclamation of pain as she stood up, asking her if she was okay as she wiped liquid off of her pants. "Yes, I'm fine. I just---I was watching where I was going," she answered, barely remembering to grimace in pain as if she was still feeling a slight sting from bumping into the bench. Not very graceful Lenore, she chided herself. She had a feeling that if Willow had seen this, she'd be doubled up in laughter. "Again, I'm really sorry. What were you drinking? I'll buy you another," she offered. Hey, it was the least she could do after making her spill her drink. She then laughed as the other girl teased her, saying that she should be careful as benches could be unforgiving. "Yes, they can be," she confirmed with a smile. "At least I didn't hit too hard though," she stated. To be perfectly honest, it hadn't hurt at all and she didn't really feel like pretending that it had. So she had lied and said that she hadn't hit the bench very hard. She didn't really like lying usually, but this time, she had felt that it was necessary. It wasn't like she could just up and tell the girl that she was a vampire. For all she knew, she could be a hunter of some sort. And if she was a hunter, she was probably more like Gordon Walker, than the Winchesters. Her smile grew as the girl introduced herself as Sophia. "I'm Lenore. It's very nice to meet you," she told her. "Although, I can assure you I'm not usually such a klutz," she stated with a small laugh. No, she was usually much more graceful. It was one of the perks of being a vampire, but of course Sophia didn't know that. And to be honest, she wanted to keep it that way as long as she could. -----------------------

Sophia glanced at the coffee cup in her hand a large portion of it gone now. Damn. She loved her coffee what a waste. "I'm fine." I muttered tossing the coffee cup in to the trash can just a few steps from the end of the bench. "It's just a bit of coffee." Sophia said with a small shrug of her shoulder. IT was not the end of the world there was always more coffee and jeans. She glanced down at her jeans. It was not that bad the stain was barely above her knee. She was thankful she had not poured it in a more embarrassing spot. Sophia smiled when the girl offered to get her another coffee. "Oh no, it's fine. I am addicted to the stuff and really should cut back." she said simply waving the offer off.
Sophia offered a friendly smile of sorts as the other girl spoke. She seemed sweet from her first impression. "Hopefully it does not leave a mark. I hate it when I get bruises on my legs I feel like I have to always wear pants to hide them." Though she was not to bruise easily anymore. She used to bruise so easily but her skin had certainly toughened up over time. She had trained hard enough bruising was not as frequent.
Lenore it certainly was a unique name. Sophia hand fell back to her side. So much for a hand shake such gestures seemed to be outdated it seemed. "Nice to meet you." Sophia offered up in reply. "I'll take your word for it. But only time will tell if you are a true klutz or not." she said in reply. She was attempting conversation. She was not sure if she was failing or not but she did not feel to awkward so she had to have done something right.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore couldn't believe what she had done. It was so embarrassing! As a vampire, she was supposed to have lighting fast reflexes and yet, she had walked straight into a bench like a regular old human. Okay granted, she was posing as a human, but still, could things get any worse? However, it would seem that the other girl wasn't too mad at her, saying that she was fine and that it was only a little coffee. "Still, as I said, I'm not usually so clumsy and I can't believe I did this," she said. At least she's not chewing me out, she thought to herself, though to be perfectly honest, she wouldn't have been surprised if she had. After all, who liked having coffee spilled on them? At her offer to buy her another coffee, the girl smiled and waved the offer off, saying that she was addicted and that she needed to cut back. "Oh, well, in that case, should I be rescinding my apology?" she asked, flashing her a grin to let her know that she was teasing. She would never want someone to think that she'd take back an apology as that was something she wouldn't do. She then nodded as she said that hopefully there wouldn't be a mark or bruise from the accident as whenever she got bruises on her legs, she always felt like she had to wear pants to hide them. "I know exactly what you mean, but I don't think the hit was hard enough to leave a mark," she stated. Of course, it didn't really matter how hard she hit anything because it wouldn't hurt her, but the other girl didn't know this, which meant that she had to act as if it would affect her. Then the vampire smiled as the human said that it was nice to meet her. "It's nice to meet you too," she told her as she watched the other woman's hand fall back to her side, causing the vampire to slap herself mentally. Duh! She should've shook the offered hand. Man, she really needed to brush up on the human social graces. Apparently she had isolated herself for too long. Well, she was going to have to rectify that. And this was a start at least. Maybe running into the bench was a good thing. She then laughed as the other woman said that she'd take her word for it, though only time would tell if she truly was a klutz. "I suppose that's true," she agreed. "So what brings you out to the square?" she wondered. Okay, so it was a stupid question that wasn't really any of her business, but at least it kept a conversation going. -----------------------

Sophia shrugged her shoulder at the girl as she stated she was never this clumsy. "Eh, it happens to the best of us. We can be graceful as can be and then one damn door stubs your toe and it's all down hill." she said just trying to put the other girl a ease. She seemed genuinely sorry that was apparent. Sophia would be fine even if the spill stained it was just clothes. She was not a materialistic person in the least. She never freaked over clothes or shoes. After all most of her wardrobe was full of things she did not mind getting messed up from hunting. She had a few knocked out dresses and etc for special trips but she was more one to dress for comfort then style. Sophia raised an eyebrow at the comment to take back the apology. "You cute." was all she said in reply. But she knew the other female was only kidding. There was no harm meant by it.
Sophia nodded when she said she did not think she had hit it hard enough to bruise. That was good she came away unscathed unlike Sophia's coffee. Some people just were lucky like that.
Sophia bit her lips as she had the moment of not knowing what to say. God this was just getting worse she should have just stayed home. She was terrible with social interactions. But a soft smile came on her lips as the girl asked what brought her out here. Taking away the pressure from her to come up with a subject of sorts. "Just needed to get out of the house for some air... and coffee." she said with a small shrug. "Can't live without my coffee." she admitted. "What about you?" she asked curiously. "I mean I assume it was not to bump into me...literally." she teased the other woman. Hoping she was keeping things from becoming awkward.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore watched as Sophia shrugged a shoulder, saying that clumsiness happened to everyone, adding that people could be graceful one minute and then stub their toe the next, which caused everything to go downhill. "Isn't that just the truth sometimes?" she asked. Not that she really knew since she hadn't tripped or ran into something for three hundred years now, but she should at least sound like she understood what this girl was saying. Besides, she could still remember some mishaps as a human and they hadn't been pretty. Then she laughed as the other woman said that she was cute after her joke. Thank goodness, she thought to herself. She was glad that she had understood that it was just a joke. If she hadn't, she would've had to explain herself and she had a feeling that it would've been harder to do than she thought. But of course she didn't have to, which was good. After Lenore's question, Sophia smiled and told her that she had come out because she had needed some air and coffee, adding that she couldn't live without her coffee, causing the vampire's expression to become sheepish once more. "Well, I pretty much ruined your coffee portion of the evening," she commented. Which sucked. She hadn't meant to though. It had just happened. At the other girl's question of what she was doing out there, adding that she assumed that it wasn't so that she could literally bump into her. She was teasing her. That was good. It meant that she wasn't too upset a bout what had happened. "It's a nice night and I wanted to go out for a walk," she replied. "Pretty stupid, huh?" she asked. She might've sounded like the biggest dork ever. Well, hopefully, Sophia wouldn't focus on it too much. -----------------------
