((So De wanted me to do this, tell the story of what happened to Benny after Cordelia broke up with him, and sort of give the character closer. Don't think this should be considered part of the site's plot as it was done just for fun and if we get a new Benny then none of this would be considered in that characters history. I am not a fan fic writer and don't consider this a fan fic, I consider it basically one really long RP that no one can Reply to. Feedback is welcome if you wish. I just wanted to give Benny one final farewell. So enjoy it if you have some free time.))

He really wasn't shocked that she wanted to break up with him. Cordelia really was to good for him, she really did deserve the type of life that Benny would never be able to give her. Maybe if he came back as a human and they could of really settled down together and have a family, he might of been good for her. But he was a monster and she was an angel, he really did miss her already as he drove down the road. He thought about just going to a bar all night and drinking his sorrows away, waiting until the sun came up and....
He knew Cordelia wouldn't want him to think that way. She would want him to try and move on and find someone else. If she knew that he watched the sun come up for the last time, and it was her that caused it, it would break her heart to much. So he forced himself on. He had plans of returning to his native France, maybe trying to settle down there, he would try to keep up with his friends stateside, Dean and his brother Sam. Dean knew that if he ever needed help, that Benny would come and help him. But he had something else to do before he could head home.
A stop in Louisana to meet his great granddaughter Elizabeth. He worked at her diner for a few months, getting to know her, secretly keeping his identity a secret, never telling her who he was. She didn't need to know that, all that she needed to know was that he cared about her and wanted to be in her life. Giving her his fond farewells as he told her he had to return to France, he kept her number handy, sometimes it was nice just to hear her voice, but he had to move on before someone came looking for him, he would end up remembering these days fondly.
Finally on the plane home, Benny felt uncomfortable being stuck in a plane full of people for a full 12 hour flight, he drank as much blood as he could before it was time for liftoff, but still, it was a long time without being able to feed. The girl sitting next to him must of noticed the look on his face. Thinking he was ill from the plane ride she spoke to him. "Get airsick huh? Don't worry, it happens to the best of us." She told him in her thick french accent, placing her hand on his, feeling the coldness of his skin she almost pulled away. But she stopped herself.
Benny looked at her for the first time. He avoiding eye contact with everyone since he got on the plane, but her eyes. She calmed him, they were a deep green color, her hair was long and golden. She smiled at him and he smiled back, finding himself to loosen up a bit. "Names Ericka." She spoke to him again. Maybe the flight had almost been over, or maybe Benny had lost track of time as he looked at her, but before he knew it, the "fasten seatbelts" sign was flashing. Before, Benny was wishing for the flight to end, now he was dreading it.
The plane landed and everyone began exiting the plane. Benny and Ericka included. They approached the baggage claim area. "I'm Benny." Benny said to her finally, realizing he never said it to her on the plane. She handed him a bag with his name on it. She smiled at him,
"Hello Benny, it was lovely to meet you." She spoke to him, her eyes must of finally spotted her bag and she grabbed it. She looked at him and the moment Benny was dreading had finally arrived, she was about to leave him too. He couldn't blame her, she hardly knew him, but yet, he didn't want her to. Her eyes must of been searching his mind, as she somehow knew what he was thinking. She smiled at him again. "I know a lovely bar a few blocks away, it might help calm your nerves." The girl spoke to him.
Benny nodded to her as she smiled, taking his hand in hers and pulling him behind her. "So you live here?" Benny managed to ask as the cab pulled up to them and the driver got out to place their bags in the trunk.
"Yes, I can tell you don't." She spoke to Benny shooting him a smile.
"I was born her once upon a time." He replied to Ericka as they got in the car together. "You have a really nice smile." He told her, sitting next to her, in the cab. It reminded him of Cordelia, big white teeth and gentle nature behind it. She only smiled in response and then told the driver their destination. The cab ride didn't take to long as they finally got to the bar and Benny got out. She paid the driver and told him to take their bags to her home, giving him the address. Benny didn't hear this conversation but he might of protested it if he had.
Walking into the bar with the women he barely knew, they approached the bar, sitting there. She looked at him again. She knew what he was, she knew it was not air sickness on the plane, but she didn't mind. She knew he wouldn't harm her, he didn't seem like a bad guy, despite what he was. She heard that they were just a myth, that they were not real, made up in books and scary movies, but here he was. Normally she would be to scared to talk to him, but she saw the pain and fear in his eyes, and she wanted to soothe it.
"I hope this doesn't seem forward..." She spoke to him as she took a sip of her drink, forgetting that she even ordered it.
"What, whats wrong?" Benny asked her taking a drink of his drink as well.
"I know what you are." She told him. Benny felt like he was crushed again, but it was for the best, he didn't want her to head into anything without knowing the truth. So he decided not to even deny it and nodded, telling her that she was right. "I don't mind, in fact, I was hoping that..." She began looking awak from him in shame. "That you and I can give it a shot, date and be together." She told him honestly.
Benny frowned. "Vamp....my kind aren't like in the books. We aren't shiny, we don't feed on rabbits." Benny told her keeping his voice quiet. "We are not romantic beings." He added to Ericka, hoping that she would get the idea.
She shrugged. "I don't expect that you are. But clearly you have a romantic side, or you won't be so heart broken. And clearly you aren't a bad guy as you would of snapped on that plane and killed everyone. I don't have delusions that everything will be sunshine and daisies between us. But if I have a chance of taking away your pain, then I want to." She told him with a smile.
He nodded. "So what now then?" Benny asked her, she shrugged at him, placing her hand on his and smiling at him. The smile that he loved so much. "You can take me home and I can take away your pain." Ericka said to him, perhaps it was the tone of her voice that made Benny react so suddenly, but he pulled her behind him outside and hailed a taxi for them. He didn't even care where their bags were, or the original taxi, he guessed she had him take their bags to her house anyways.
The cab ride seemed to take forever and all Benny could do was look deep into her eyes as she did the same to him. Benny paid the man as they finally arrived at the address she gave him and she pulled him behind her this time leading her up to her doorstep, she looked into his eyes as she leaned against her door. "Benny, I just want you to know I am not doing this to make some fantasy of mine come true, I am doing this because I can see myself really caring for you." She told him, finally turning to open her door.
"The last girl that broke your heart gave me a gift. I will send her a thank you letter someday." She said with a smile, leading him into her house and shutting the door behind them. 6 months pass as they grow closer and closer together. Benny will always remember Cordelia, without whom he might of given up a long time ago, but now Ericka was his life.
