----------------------- ----------------------- Lilly-Beth had had to spend the night in this town instead of heading back to Mystic Falls. Last night had been a full moon and her other side was always strongest at that point. This meant that she had no control over her shifting and even though she was a hybrid now, it didn't mean she could shift when ever she wanted to, it simply meant that her other side could come out and play more often than it didn't anymore. No longer restricted by the moon that was the only thing keeping it at bay. Now it was free and she that her other side was completely loyal to Klaus. The sire bond was a bitch to break and as she wasn't technically sired to Klaus she couldn't be the one to break it, her other side had to want to which really wasn't the case. She sighed, she was more than pissed off and had slept for pretty much the entire day, she was hungry and her clothes were dirty. She needed to get some more, she needed to get out of this stinking motel room and find out how to get back to Mystic Falls. Calling Tyler seemed like a very good option.
Grabbing her jacket she pulled it on and headed out into the sunset. If anything this place was pretty sweet if only that were the case. Richmond was anything that she had needed it to be, until last night when she had bitten a freaking hunter. Like she needed someone like that on her ass. Getting out of town was the best thing to do now. Being part vampire sucked no pun intended. She just wanted to go back to how she had been when she was nothing more than a mere werewolf. She growled in frustration and headed into a clothes store. No way was she paying for this junk, not only did she not have any money but she could compel people to think she had bought the stuff. Grabbing a pair of jeans and a top, her jacket was alright so she was keeping it. On the way out she grabbed a hat and put it on her head and simply walked out of the shop. She felt better already although she just wanted to get out of town now.
Swinging her bag onto her back she glanced around the streets, night had fallen and people were busy going back home. Home. If only there was such a place for someone like her. She figured she could hitch hike it back into her own town or simply walk, she had done that for most of her life so it wouldn't hurt to go again. She started walking and grabbed her phone from her bag. Using the hat to keep her hair out of her face she looked down and realised it was dead. Swearing under her breath she hit the town square. There goes the option for calling Tyler. She was reaching the edge of this place when something or someone caught her eye. Standing at a crossroad was a guy putting a box into the ground. She frowned a little, yeah and she thought she was weird and had problems, this was a whole new level. Shrugging she walked up to the guy before the box had been fully buried. "You know standing at a crossroad isn't literal You simply chose a direction and walk it. Now walk away"
She compelled him with her final words. Lilly figured she should keep on walking but with one extra step she heard the box underneath her and she frowned slightly. Ok this thing was weird maybe it was like a memory box that he wanted to dig up again in a few years. She shrugged and pushed the dirt over the top of it only to hear something happen. She would say her spider senses were tingling all over. Something was going to happen now she had finally covered the box. Part of her wanted to reach down and see what was in the contents when she heard footsteps but couldn't see anyone. The guy scrabbled away in the distance and she frowned. Closing her eyes she let her senses take over, her sense of smell and hearing was always something she could rely. Her muscled twitching she waited for a few moment before she heard footsteps. Her smell picked up on something she had never personally come across before. ------------------ ------------------ She felt the tug of a crossroads spell pulling her from a very fun game of strip poker where a bunch of Chippendale dancers were losing badly to her. Growling in frustration she extricated herself from the wonderful night she had planned. “I’ll be back, boys. Gotta go make a deal.” She purred sexily as she slid into some black pumps that worked with her little black dress. “Keep playing and I’ll be back for the after party.” She winked.
Teleporting in she walked to the crossroads, “Sooo, what brings you out on a cold lonely night, hmmm?” she asked the brunette who was standing there. It took all kinds to make a deal and the information that came with this one was confusing. “Something tells me you’re in the wrong place at the right time.” She said as she glanced at the box and then at the girl. The box screamed of someone else summoning. She could feel the pull of it. There was a retreating form of a man but Bela was far more interested in the woman in front of her.
She wondered if she had a similar past to her own that Bela could use to her benefit, “Forgive me, My name is Bela. You’re probably wondering what this is all about. The person that put that box together called me here, wanting to make a deal of some sort.” She explained with a warm smile as she stood there in front of the other woman. She gently examined her nails and debated changing the color when she got home. Blood red was so pretty and in season that she loathed to switch it out.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lilly-Beth was known to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, she was good at it and really and truly it happened more often than it didn't. It was how she became so good at spying on people, getting to know about people's personal life when she really wished that they would just shut the hell up and keep it to themselves. However when she got into bad situations she personally couldn't care less and flipped any one off who told her where to go as well. She thought about her past and how often she had tried to get out of sticky situations only to find the best approach was to move on and get over it and not have a care. Her past always caught up to her and yet people never found out about her either. She was always scared of people knowing her past and most of the time the police who all knew about her past would find her in the wrong place at the wrong time. Thank god for compulsion these days, being a hybrid had only that advantage.
When she heard the foot-steps her head whipped around to see who was there. What she saw took her by surprise. Someone had appeared out of completely thin air, one moment the person hadn't been there and the next she was. Lilly held back her surprise though, she was good at holding back and hiding behind a mask with her emotions. "Well if you must know i'm about to hitch hike it home. However that sudden appearing act is neat, so if you wonna teach me that i'm down with it"
She spoke with a slight shrug. Hitching her bag over her shoulder a little more. The next words made her smile an aweful lost. She shrugged her shoulders and flipped her hair. "Please, that is the story of my life. Wrong place at the wrong time. However I think this is a big misunderstanding as there was this guy and he was burying something, so I pushed the dirt over it and made him disappear and now here you are." She spoke. The woman was pretty in her own way. She had an English accent and seemed like a well put together person. Someone who had money or a lot of power and wasn't afraid to flaunt it. Something that Lilly could appreciate in a woman, it was the same as herself except she was never that well presented. The woman introduced herself and she smiled, a pretty dainty little name for someone who seemed so full of herself. "Well I'd say it was a pleasure to meet you but that would be a lie. I'm Lilly-Beth. Wait a deal? Like you give me one thousand bucks and I give you a year of slavery or something because that's just lame" She spoke probably over stepping her bounds on the woman's profession. Who would make deals like that. She wondered if the woman was the devil incarnate and the whole making a deal with the devil thing was an apt description. Bela’s Template ------------------ ------------------
She could have gotten someone cool. She could have gotten a hunk or some desperate CEO. Of course she could have gotten some gamer nerd wanting to make it with the head cheerleader too but Bela liked to dream big. She had eternity so why the hell not? Instead she got this girl full of attitude with not a cent to her name. She was pretty enough. That’s what made this bearable because her mouth alone would make Bela want to slap her.
“Of all the crossroads in all the world you had to walk into mine.” She quipped, liberally stealing from Humphrey Bogart and Casablanca. No one would recognize it but hey it sounded good. “Hey I just lay out the rules. Believe me, I was having a great night at the strip club before you came along. Now I’m going to need to get more change and reel another guy in.” she pouted and sighed softly, “And yeah I make deals for your soul but the payoff is in ten years so why worry? Seems to me you could use a little luck running your way and I’m in a position to provide it.” She said with a smile as she brushed her nails on her dress.
“Its just a trifle. You won’t even miss it. I don’t. Life is better without a conscious after all. Having one just sucks. All that guilt making you feel bad and aging you beyond your years. Wouldn’t you just like to party and not have to worry? A deal with me can assure you of that, trust me.” She smiled warmly, “Come on. Say yes and we can both be doing body shots off of gorgeous guys before the night is out. It will be a blast.”
Notes: Its fine. Hope you like my reply.

----------------------- ----------------------- It was obvious to Lilly-Beth that this woman was someone totally in a different league to her. However it didn't meant she would get treated any differently to how she would speak to anyone else who seemed to be a Mr know it all. She wasn't a fan of those people and although she knew she would be pissed if she had been summoned only to get something else or get nothing for it, however it didn't mean she was gong to replace the idiot guy who seemed to want to sell his soul for something. It was pretty pathetic, selling your should for ten years of life. Part of being immortal meant at least that she would live forever providing she didn't get her heart ripped out. NO she would look after it and there was no way she was going to take a deal with something that she didn't even know the species of. It was clearly obvious this woman wasn't human.
She smiled, the woman had a come back and that was rare for most people, normally Lilly was the one who had the last word however a bit of verbal sparring before heading home couldn't hurt anyone. "Well I didn't see your name on it unless it was in that douche bags memory box thing I just buried. Wait is that how you were summoned? By a box?"
She asked and then couldn't help a chuckle. It seemed pretty pathetic really. Keeping a straight face was next to impossible after that. Really ten years of living when she could live forever. "Yeah i'd be pissed at being pulled away as well. However don't even think about trying to get my soul. Ten years isn't long really considering I'm immortal" She spoke with a shrug and hitched her bag over her shoulder and secured it over her other shoulder as well. It was obvious the woman now needed to make some kind of deal. Being summoned and going away empty handed was probably not something that looked good on ones record. However Lilly-Beth couldn't care less. She shook her head and gave Bela a do you think I'm crazy look. "Again immortal here and I don't feel guilt. I have this humanity thing that I can flip off when I feel like it which is kinda cool. However the shots with the gorgeous guys certainly sounds like something I'd be up for so if your willing to share count me in. However no deal, I'm not interested. It's lame and makes you seem like your more than just a working girl if you know what I mean" She spoke with a shrug. The immaculately dressed person however had something going for her. There was something seductive about her which Lilly could appreciate. Bela had something going on. Ok so Miss Prissypants was going to play it that way. WHY did she get the losers? She looked bored. “Yes you got that right. I got summoned due to someone putting images of what wish he wanted me to grant him in the box. Since you’re not him I suppose I’ll just have to focus on him and actually accomplish something before heading home.”
Shaking her head she clucked her tongue, “Immortal is a crock, darling. You’re only as good as the person who manages not to kill you. And before you get all high and mighty ask yourself one question. If you’re so great why are you standing in the middle of a crossroads picking up another man’s junk? Clearly being immortal hasn’t made you wealthy, famous or much of anything else for that matter.” She wasn’t trying to be a bitch, yet but this girl with her attitude was cruising for Bela to set her straight about her existence.
“Now why should I invite you to my party if you’re not even going to let me do my job?” Bela looked bored now. She didn’t have anything against the girl but why waste her time with someone who had no dreams. “I mean really, you wouldn’t even appreciate it. You can’t even appreciate my offer. No point in showing you what you’ll never get in a million years….” She smirked slightly and sauntered up to her.
“Unless you really are tempted. Believe me its easy to be, especially with your morality switch thing. I mean that’s the biggest crock I’ve ever heard. “I can switch it off like a light.” Just be honest with yourself, Darling. There is no switch you just need an “excuse” to kill people. A justification. “Oh it wasn’t ME I had my humanity off. That was humanity less me. I can’t be blamed for being a bad girl and killing that hiker during the full moon now can I?” she said this with a wide eyed look on her face. Teasing Lily Beth about the lies she told herself, “Whatever helps you sleep at night, Sweetcheeks. You can come with me; IF you’ll consider my offer. I mean for all you know a hunter could kill you tomorrow and you’d be screwed. Whereas if you took me up you’d have lived 10 more years.”
Notes: Bela's not trying to be a bitch, she's just explaining it as she sees it.

----------------------- ----------------------- Lilly-Beth was not one to stand around and listen to someone be a bitch, although she knew more than anything how to give as good as she got. People who knew her, knew what it was like when she got into a bad mood. Let's face it she'd had a pretty crappy few days and now there was this woman who was trying to get her to sell her soul for something as cheap as ten years. There was nothing she wanted that badly, not even this curse of being a hybrid gone. She could deal with it and with the help of her new friends no doubt either. However this bitch was trying to make it as though selling her soul was the best thing she could ever do and that was the best offer she was going to get. She obviously didn't know Lilly at all because she wouldn't settle for anything other than the best. She didn't care though anymore, she was over this conversation already. However it sounded a little desperate as though she had to make a sell since she had been summoned.
She smirked a little and nodded her head and then chuckled. Her hair falling around her. This was great to know. "It sounds to me as though you have to make a sale before you head back to your boss. Otherwise they won't be too happy with you. I mean sure if you want to go after that loser help yourself. Some people just have no self confidence"
She spoke with a slight shrug and hitched her bag up. She smiled again, yeah she really didn't know a thing about her. "I think you underestimate what I have. I get what I want and when I want it. If I want money, I get it. If I wanted to be famous, I would be. Simple as really. I'm happy with where I am. I'm living my life to it's fullest, can't say the same can be said for you. Your nothing but a sales woman. I think i'll stick to my own life thanks" Bela had sass but she never really cared much for that. Lilly had her bad attitude and she was honest about it, this one seemed to think she was simply above everyone else. "I must admit i'm a little disappointed that's all you've got. You make a grand entrance with no substance. Then I guess that's what you get for simply coming across someone who is down right lame" She spoke and watched as she was approached. Lilly couldn't care less what people thought of her, especially not some bitch who thought she ruled the world. However she was obviously not giving up anytime soon. If she thought someone like Lilly-Beth would be tempted by an offer that would end her immortal life then she was highly mistaken. She didn't know who she was talking to and Lilly knew she needed to not let her emotions well up. She had shifted once already and doing it a second night in a row would not look good for this small town. Bela carried on talking and all Lilly wanted to do was to shut her mouth up as quickly as possible. If she thought she was being convincing then she was doing a very poor job of it. Plus the nicknames were not an endearment at all. "You keep talking and yet I'm hearing nothing. Take a hint. The answer is no. If a hunter kills me tomorrow i'd be highly shocked however I would happily say I lived my life to the fullest. I think you misunderstood me though. I don't live with my humanity on or off, it's on the edge at all times meaning I could kill your sorry ass for making my night a boring one and carry on my merry way not thinking twice about it. Don't make the mistake everyone else does by underestimating me by my pretty looks" She spoke with a smirk. “Actually I don’t have to do anything. I don’t care about this box of junk in the ground or what you think. If you were worth anything you wouldn’t be standing here.” With that Bela turned her back, confident that whatever happened she could incinerate the hybrid shrew before she could blink if she got nasty.
“If you were happy you wouldn’t have to justify it. You wouldn’t have to tell me about it you would just leave. But since you can’t seem to do that you must be very bored so why don’t you find some stud to breed with and have a ton of puppies. Since you seem to get off on being such a bitch.” Bela began walking away. She didn’t need this tramp or her crap. She just had to go call Ruby and she could be very happy very quickly.
It wasn’t like Bela had to tell her anything or deal with her any more. The girl was already out of her mind when Bela hit speed dial “Hey Ruby lets paint the town red. There’s evidently people thinking that pranking a demon in Mystic Falls is great fun. I say we teach them a lesson what do you think?” Hurrah for voice mail but it would work at least till she was out of ear shot from the witch.
“You bore me.” She said and with that she was gone. No fan fair, no fighting, just a promise that Lily Beth’s big mouth was likely to reign hell down on Mystic Falls. There was no point in getting in a cat fight. Bela was gone to Ruby to have fun with someone who understood the word and that was all.
Notes: Ummm yeah that didn't work so well. Bela isn't the type to put up with bitchy for long without incinerating the offending party so I had her walk away.
