He nodded. "Yes, but there is no one better to have on your side." Michael said, sure him and Isobel didn't always see eye to eye, sometimes she didn't agree with his choices and he made them anyways, but they were always on the same side, they always had each others back, and that was the best thing. Same with Max. They were all they really had at one point, to afraid to let anyone else in, to afraid of the consequences, for which there were seemingly many. Then Liz, Maria, Kyle and Alex came along and they became one big happy... ish family.

"Whatever floats your boat man." Michael said to Jesse when he suggested shortening the name to BGGC, though for some reason it sounded like a branch of the FBI or something to Michael. A fact he wasn't about to mention out loud that it reminded him of such a thing. He nodded however at his next words. "He is kind of a moron, acts like a hard ass and doesn't think the rules apply to him." Michael said, speaking of his other self was weird for him, but that was how he felt about the man. IF he ever saw him again, it would be to soon.

"People just disagree with me on a lot of things. And the problem is, that most of the time, I just don't care what they think." Michael said with a shrug. He wasn't really a bad ass, he was just kind of misunderstood. How Maria, Isobel, Liz, Max and Kyle put up with him most of the time was a complete mystery to him. In fact, Michael and them sometimes didn't always get along, but how they got along the rest of the time was beyond him. Michael just shrugged. "My friends like me for the most part at least." He added.

"That's good, I can relax now as I like to meet the people she hangs with, you understand. But I don't want her to think I am trying to control what she does. She is far to stubborn for that." Michael said when Jesse told him that Caroline was a nice girl. Michael didn't know her but Maria did and she assured him that she was alright, but it was nice hearing it from an unbiased source that his concerns were not warranted, not when it came to Maria and Caroline handing out anyways. But who knew what else was lurking out there.

"So... you probably have to get your evidence to the Sheriff and I have to get to that interview if I want to maintain my relationship with my girl that is." Michael told Jesse with a genuine smile. "It was actually nice to meet you and trust me, I don't say that often." Michael told him.

Jesse smiled as Jason said that there was no one better than his friend to have on his side.
"Ah. Sounds like someone I'd like to meet," he commented. And she did. He liked a woman who could hold their own and was willing to fight for what they believed in. Heck, he liked that quality in anyone. Even if he didn't always get along and they were willing to have his back, he'd accept their help. As the saying went, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". And what on Earth had started him on that line of thinking? Way to get side-tracked, he scolded himself. Sheesh. Okay, he had to get his thoughts back on what they had been talking about: which was a friend of Jason's.

From the man's expression, he wasn't too fond of the acronym...not that the officer could really blame him. It did sound kind of pretentious and governmental. But hey, he was the one who had come up with the name. He then nodded as he continued on, saying that that his cousin was a moron who didn't think the rules applied to him.
"Oh, yeah. I can see how that could be a problem," he sympathized. He preferred people to follow the rules himself. Not that he was what you could call a goody-two shoes, but he did expect a basic moral ground.

After his question, the other man responded that it wasn't that he thought he was a bad ass, he just disagreed with people a lot about many things and didn't care what anyone thought, and his friends liked him for the most part.
"I think I get it. It's good that you stand by what you works for you and it sounds like your friends mean a lot to you," he told him. Considering that he didn't know the guy all that well, it was the best he could come up with.

When Jason said that it was good to hear that Caroline was a nice girl as he could relax since he liked to meet his girlfriend's friends, though she didn't want her thinking he was trying to control her, though she was stubborn for that.
"I'm sure she'll appreciate the fact that you're taking an interest in her friends," he stated. At least, he would hope she would think that. After all, if he had a girlfriend or a boyfriend, he'd want them to make an effort to meet the friends since he'd do the same for them.

Jesse nodded as Jason stated that he probably had to get his evidence to Sheriff Forbes and he had to get to his interview if he wanted to keep his relationship intact.
"Yeah, good idea," he said. He was sure that Sheriff Forbes was waiting on him by now and was probably worried about what was taking him so long. Then he grinned as the other man said that it was nice to meet him, telling him that it wasn't something he said very often. "It was nice to meet you too. Good luck on your interview," he told him and then finally put the gas Jason had brought him into his car. When it was filled, he got into car, started the engine, and then drove off.
