----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler drummed his fingers on his steering wheel as he drove towards Wickery Bridge. It was late and he wanted to do some thinking. And sometimes, the bridge was the best place to that. He had brought along a sketch pad and a pen just in case he wanted to draw something, but he wasn't really sure if he was up for drawing tonight. Then again, he never knew when inspiration would hit him, so he had decided that it would be better to just bring the book and pen along just in case. Not that he was a boy scout who was always prepared. He just understood that inspiration could come at any moment and it would suck if he wasn't able to act on it. He let out a sigh as he got closer to his location. When he was finally there, he parked his car, turned off the ignition, grabbed his keys, pen, and sketchbook and then headed towards the bridge. The night air was a bit chilly, but his brown sweater and black jeans kept him warm enough. He walked towards the bridge and then looked over the railing to see the moon's reflection on the water and he let a small smile grace his lips. He had almost forgotten how magical the bridge looked at night. No one---not even Matt---knew that when he was little, he used to sneak out of the house and just sit on the bridge for hours drawing or just thinking about things. It had been his way of dealing with whatever was bothering him or if he just needed to get away. Even now he still made the journey here, though the visits were more scarce. But tonight he had felt the need to revive the old ritual. Hopefully, he'd just be left alone. -----------------------

------------------ ------------------ Jade was still trying to get use to being in Mystic Falls, it had been a while that she had been in this town. But it was the only real place she could think of settling in, plus it wasn’t really a normal town in its self. She heard that there had been pretty crazy things that had happened there, and with Jade all ready thinking she is crazy she figured what not a good place to settle in. On top of that she knew that had a great school that she knew she wanted to check out.
But the best part of this town so far was meeting Oz, he was such a great guy that Jade had so much in common with. He was sweet, kind, caring, in a band, but the best part was he was just like her. They could relate on such a level because he was a werewolf as well. All she could think about was the next time they would get to see each other, which she hoped was more like a date for them. Something a little more then just bumping into him at the food court, like a nice dinner just the two. Just the though of it was putting a big smile on Jade’s face.
But right now Jade was taking a long drive just trying to process all that has happened, plus this was here life and something she loved to do. Just take a drive in her Trans am and listen to some music. But she thought about chill on the big bridge that the town had, it was so pretty to just sit there and look over the water. She remembered it all to well when her and her family would come here.
She finally made It there parking her car getting out to chill on the bridge, it was such a nice night with the breeze, stars and moon light shinning on the water. But it seems as though she was not alone as some else was standing there as well, she figured why make friends with who ever it was. “Hi nice night isn’t it?” She asked him.

----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler let out a sigh as he looked down at the water. It was pretty, but for some reason, he just wasn't enjoying it tonight. He couldn't. His mind was too full. And to be honest, he couldn't really be surprised. A lot had happened recently. Which of course was the whole reason for this late night visit. Tyler closed his eyes and listened to the night sounds that were familiar to him. Man, this is just what I needed, he thought to himself. A night by himself away from all the crap in his life was just the thing to help him relax. Suddenly, he heard the sound of an engine and he turned around and waited as a car approached. He gave a whistle when he saw black 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. Sweet ride, he thought to himself. Who owned that beauty? Well, he supposed that he'd be finding out pretty soon. Sure enough, the driver got out and he walked over to her as she stated that it was a nice night. "Yeah, it is. I like to come out here sometimes when I just need to be alone. It's so peaceful," he said. "I've never seen you around before. You just passin' through or have you moved here?" he wondered. Not that he automatically thought that she had moved to Mystic Falls, but let's face it, a lot of people had moved here recently. Which was strange. It wasn't like Mystic Falls was in one of those guide books for American vacation spots or something so a lot of people didn't tend to know about it. And yet, lately, people seemed to be coming here in droves. Was it a Supernatural thing? Did the enriched history of vampires, werewolves, and witches attract people here? If that was the case, it was weird. This was his home and he didn't want a bunch of people coming here just because of the Supernatural world. They had enough problems in that area with the current residents of town and there was no need for new people to add to all of it. But then again, when did things ever go the way he wanted them to? -----------------------

------------------ ------------------ The guy seemed nice and almost some what familiar to Jade, almost like she had seen him before. But she was sure she had after all this was a small town and Jade use to come here all the time, her family was pretty much friends with everyone here. But that came with knowing some of the most popular family in town that’s family lived here before them, time and time again. So it wouldn’t be a shocker if she knew and seen this guy somewhere before.
She wondered why he was out here all alone by himself, but then again he could ask her the same thing. But then again that comes with Jade being on her own for a long time. “Yeah I can understand that it is nice out here, which is exactly why I’m hanging on this bridge. I love this view I could sit here all day.” Said the girl. “Well I use to pass through here all the time when I lived with my family. But I have not in a long while since then, but now I think I’m here to stay. I have always liked this town so I think it’s the place that I’m going to settle in for a while.” Said jade.
“So you sit out her a lot then?“ She asked him. Jade could sense something about this guy, he smelled different from a human. It was a smell that she smelled once before when she met Oz? Could this guy be a werewolf just like Oz and Jade were, had she found another one like him? This was all so exciting to find someone else just like them. “Oh I’m Jade by the way its nice to meet you, you are?” She said taking out her hand to shake his.

----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler smiled as the girl said that she could understand his reasoning, as it was the same reason that she was out there, adding that she loved the view and could stay there all day. So could he. In fact, he had done that on occasion. He had drawn a couple of sunrises and sunsets while he was out here and they had come out rather well in his own opinion. Not that anyone had ever seen those particular drawings. He was actually pretty particular about who saw his stuff and usually just kept his sketches to himself. In fact, if he thought about it, he was pretty sure that only Jeremy Gilbert knew how well he had progressed in recent years. Which was really odd seeing as how they weren't exactly friends. But he supposed that was high school for ya. He then turned to her as she continued on, saying that she used to pass through Mystic Falls all the time with her family, though she hadn't been there a while and that she was now settling down in the town as she had always liked the place. "Oh. What's your family's name?" he asked with interest. She wasn't looking familiar to him, but then again, he had been a selfish dick when he was younger, only caring about himself and whatever made him happy. So it wasn't surprising that he didn't recognize her. But he had to admit, she was smelling familiar. Her scent was similar to that of Lilly-Beth. Is she a wolf like me? he wondered. it'd be interesting if she was as it seemed that werewolves seemed to be coming out of the wood works. Okay, maybe he was jumping to conclusions, but somehow, he didn't really think so. Then again, meeting a Hybrid and a werewolf didn't necessarily mean that there was an influx of the creatures. When she asked him if he sat out here a lot, he shook his head. "Not as often as I'd like these days, though I used to come here a lot when I was younger. I don't really like drawing attention to myself and people would notice if I came out here a lot," he replied. And by people he mainly meant Klaus. This was one of the places that the Original hadn't discovered as one of his favorites and he was going to keep it that way. He didn't want it to be tainted and he'd do everything that he could to make sure that didn't happen. She then introduced herself as Jade and he frowned in concentration. Jade. Jade...nope. Didn't ring a bell. "Nice to meet you. I'm Tyler," he introduced himself as he shook her hand. -----------------------

------------------ ------------------ He seemed interested to know more about her, in hopes that maybe he would remember he family. Even though she knew he wouldn’t, sadly even though Jade does love and miss them they still are not the best people. Her family was known because there money being Rich and snooty, it was a shocker that they had friends. But they did in the Gilberts which made her happy. Other wish jade never would have met Elena and Jeremy who were great friends to her, and in this town her only friends. Well other then Oz who she hoped to become so much more then just friends.
“Oh my Last name is Carter, Jadelyn Rose Carter to be exact, but just Jade is find by me thanks.” He said with a smile. “ I like to keep my name short and sweet you know. So what is your full name if you don’t mind me asking?” She said with a sweet innocent like smile. She was sure once he told her his name she may knew him, Jade did know a lot in this town she just never really talked with anyone. She was always to busy baby sitting Elena and Jeremy, while there families parted and drank. Which she was so fine with seeing that she loved those kids with all her heart, they were like her siblings that she was closer with then her own.
He said his name was Tyler which did kind of ring a bell, but she wasn’t sure. She did get the not wanting to be seen part, but they both may understand each other a lot more then he realizes. Seeing that she could she could sense that he was a werewolf, she just wanted for the right time to tell and ask him. “Well its nice to meet you, but I have to ask why you like to stay hidden a lot? I mean I stay hidden myself my parents cant find me to save there life.” She told him hoping he would spill what he was.

----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler frowned in concentration. Jade Carter. Jade Carter. Nope, that name wasn't ringing any bells. Then again, he had been a dick as a kid, so he wouldn't be surprised if his mother did know her even though he didn't. And yes, he felt lousy about that. It had been stupid of him. He should've been a better person. But he had been spoiled and had treated people---including his friends---like they were there to wait on him hand and foot. Well, at least he had seen the error of his ways and was trying to change for the better. Not that it was doing him any good at the moment with lying to the girl he loved in order to protect her. Okay, he was not going to dwell on that at the moment. Right now, he was going to focus on the girl in front of him. The girl, who had in fact, started talking again, explaining that she liked to keep things short and sweet and had asked for his full name. "Lockwood. Tyler Lockwood," he replied. He wasn't really sure if it would jog anything in her memory---it probably wouldn't---but at least it was something. And if she had heard of him, hopefully, it wasn't all bad. Because it would really suck if she thought that he was still the type of guy that only cared about himself and decided that he wasn't worth getting to know better. Okay, yes, he was starting to feel a little insecure, which really sucked, but oh well. At her question of why she liked to stay hidden a lot, explaining that she liked to do the same and that her parents couldn't find her for anything. And that sounds terrible, he thought to himself. What kind of parent wouldn't be able to find their kid? Then again, when a teen didn't want to be found, they came up with ways to stay scarce. "Well, that's kind of complicated," he admitted. Boy was that an understatement. He then focused on her and his eyes narrowed as he realized that there was a familiar vibe about her. One that was similar to that of Lilly-Beth. "You seem familiar all of a sudden," he commented. But why was that? He didn't really know her all that well. It didn't make sense. But it was there nonetheless. OOC Is so blanking on how TVD wolves suss each other out. LOL -----------------------

------------------ ------------------ He told Jade what his name was and it rang a little bell in her head, he parents had a lot of money in this town. His mom is even part of the town council, other then that she didn’t know him personally she had just heard of him. But then again in this town it wasn’t hard to hear about everything seeing that is wasn’t that big of a town as is. Plus it was known for strange yet crazy things going on here, people disappearing, and strange sightings. It was one of the reasons that Jade picked here to stay. Plus she actually knew someone here and here mom and dad wouldn’t come around now that there friends the Gilberts were gone. It was the best place to live and hide out, not to mention a great school she wanted so much to go to.
“Lockwood I think I have heard that name before, isn’t your mom on the town Council or something?” She asked him. “I mean I don’t know her I’m just telling you what I have heard. But it is nice to meet you Tyler’ She told him with a smile. She could so tell that he was a wolf she could smell it off him as clear as day. Plus she could tell that he was hiding something, the same thing she did with everyone else. That is in till she met Oz then it all changed, she met someone that was just like her let her know that she wasn’t alone.
She could tell by the way he was looking at her he know, she knew that she was just like him. They were the same both Werewolf’s. “You don’t have to say anything but I can smell, it I can tell you are a Werewolf just like me aren’t you. Come on I wont tell anybody your sercat is safe with me, I just like to know others are out there like me.” She said with a smile.

----------------------- ----------------------- As soon as he introduced himself, Tyler saw a flicker of recognition flit across Jade's face, something that was confirmed as she stated that she had heard the name, asking if his mother was on the town council. "Yes. Yes, she is," he confirmed. He wasn't surprised that the girl would know that his mom was on the town council, even if she didn't know what that actually entailed. Heck, he hadn't even known for quite a while. But after he had become a werewolf, Caroline had clued him in on the true nature of the Council. Of course, at the time he had thought that the girl was a werewolf at a time, not a vampire. But that was neither here or there. He didn't need to be thinking about her right now. He was trying to clear his head, not muddle it up even further. When she said that it was nice to meet her, he flashed her a smile. "It's nice to meet you too," he told her. And it really was. Hey, he could use all the friends he could get. And she knew. She had probably gotten the same vibe he had. He blinked in surprise as she said that he didn't have to say anything but that she could smell that he was like her---a werewolf---promising that she'd keep his secret, adding that she just liked to know that there were others like her. "You're right. I am like you. Well, sort of. It's kind of a long story," he admitted. He had no idea how long she had been a werewolf or if she even knew about Klaus and if she didn't know much about the Supernatural world, it wouldn't be fair to overwhelm her. After all, he knew better than anybody what it was like to have the Supernatural dropped into your lap. And he'd prefer it if this girl didn't have his own bad experience. Not that he supposed that anyone had a good experience finding out that they were a werewolf as you had to kill someone, but still, he didn't want her to feel like the world was crashing down on her. -----------------------

------------------ ------------------ Jade and Tyler seemed to be getting along well so far which was good, she was worried if her bringing forward what he was would sacred him off which was not at all what she wanted by any means at all. But so far it hadn’t he was still her making conversation, it seemed that Jade was right, he was the son of someone who was part of the council. She remembered how strict the council was when it came to stuff going on in this town. It made her wonder how is mom felt about what he was, or if she even knew for that matter.
It came out with it and so far he had not ran away which was a good sign, but she was a bit confused what she meant by sort of ? But now that he said something she can tell what he was talking about, something did seem and smell a bit off about him in away. “Ok Well I’m not a bit confused what you mean by sort of.” She asked. “I mean you are ether one or you are not right? I mean in less there is something else out there I’m not aware of”
She was really confused and wanted so much to understand what was going on, plus she wanted to try and be there for her new found friend. He seemed like for the most part he could use one anyway. On top of that it made Jade so happy to find and meet others out there that were just like her. Then she began to wonder if maybe he know others that were like them as well? “So I have to ask do you know others out there that I like us as well, I mean you have friends that are werewolf’s?” She asked. Sorry to be nosey its just nice not feeling alone here you know.

----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler couldn't believe it, but he was actually glad for Jade's company. Sure, he had come out here to be alone, but their conversation was actually helping him to keep his mind off of his problems, something he was extremely grateful for. Forgetting the crap he was going through was his goal and Jade was helping him accomplish that goal, so yeah, hanging out with her was starting to look really good. Who knew that she'd be such a good distraction for me? he thought to himself. Okay, maybe "Distraction" was a bad word choice considering the fact that in the past, he had used it in reference to having sex to escape his problems. Okay, yeah, he wasn't wanting to remember how much of a dick he had been back then. In all honesty, he was surprised that he had managed to keep his friends with the way he had treated them. But he supposed that was what made them his friends: they stuck by him no matter what. His reverie was broken when she asked him what he meant when he had said that he was kind of like her, saying that he either was a werewolf or he wasn't, asking if there was something that she didn't know about. Okay, granted, she had a good point, but unfortunately, there was a third option that she didn't seem to know about: becoming a Hybrid. And if she didn't know about Hybrids, that meant she was probably a brand-new werewolf and didn't know about Klaus or his brothers. But he couldn't be sure. Maybe she was just trying to suss out the information he knew just as he was doing with her. "You ever hear of a guy named Klaus?" he questioned. If he she had, she'd know exactly what he was getting at, and if she didn't, well, he'd have some explaining to do. Then she asked if he knew if there were others like them. "I've met a couple of others, yeah," he replied. "Why? Am I the first one that you've met?" he queried. Man, that would suck, he thought to himself. It wasn't easy when you first turned. At least, it hadn't been for him. He had been freaked out and needing help. Unfortunately, his uncle Mason---who had also been a werewolf---had been killed right around the time he had triggered the curse. And that had only left Caroline to help him. Caroline. Yeah, he was missing her. Okay, he had to stop thinking about this. It was over and done with. -----------------------

------------------ ------------------ She was so confused trying to understand what he meant? She didn’t get how you could kind of be a werewolf ? That is in less he had not turned all the way yet? Or maybe there was other type of there kind out there, others she didn’t know about. But Jade thought she had Google all there was to know out there on them, she took what she had become pretty seriously. Almost obsessing about it looking so deep and far into it that she could. So she didn’t know or get how something could have gotten past her.
He spoke a name that she had never heard before something that didn’t ring any bells. She wondered who this guys was ? Was he like a high up head werewolf ? Ether way who ever he was didn’t sound like it could be good at all. “No I cant say that I have ever heard of him, is that a good thing or a bad thing that I have not?” She asked Tyler. “So who is this guy anyway? She then wondered if the guy he was speaking out was his maker. Oh how Jade wishes she knew hers, because then she would give him what she has wanted to for so long. That’s killing them and making that person feel all the pain Jade went through.
It was so cool that he knew others like them, she wanted so much too meet others of there kind. So far she had came across Oz and now Tyler and that was the most she had met like her in her whole time being one, which made her happy. “No you are not the first one that I have, but I have only met one other like me. So you can see why I’m happy.” Said Jade. She wasn’t going to tell her that it was in fact Oz seeing that it wasn’t her place to tell someone what he was.

----------------------- ----------------------- From the confusion on Jade's face, Tyler could see that she had no idea what he was talking about. He let out an internal sigh as she asked who Klaus was and whether it was good or bad that she hadn't heard of him. Great. He had some explaining to do. Not that it was a chore exactly, but things were always so much simpler when werewolves knew what was going on. And this one didn't. But she wanted to know who he was. "Klaus is bad news. Not only is he an old vampire---very strong---but he's also a werewolf. He made me like him---a mixture. I was already a werewolf. So that's what I meant by when I said I was sort of like you," he replied, choosing not to go into the subject of the Sire-bond that had been established. There was no need to revisit that particular wound at this time. And he could explain to her about the other vampires in town when the time was right. And the time wasn't right. He didn't want to overwhelm her. This was probably confusing enough as it was. He then nodded in relief as she assured him that he wasn't the first werewolf she had met, but that she had only met one other one like her which was why she was happy to meet him. "Yeah, I can understand that," he said. It was pretty scary having to go through the werewolf life by yourself. Not that he had been by himself exactly as Caroline helped him through a lot of stuff---at great risk to herself even---but she was a vampire. She couldn't know what it was like to be the only werewolf in town. So yeah, he could understand where Jade was coming from. She was probably wanting to be around people, especially if they had the same scent as her. It was something that he craved as well. Even as a kid, he liked being in a group of people, though he wasn't sure if it was a werewolf thing or not. Maybe it was instinctual even if you hadn't triggered the curse. Then again, it probably wasn't. Uncle Mason hadn't really sought out being part of a group. He had only lived for the next big wave. -----------------------

------------------ ------------------ She couldn’t believe what she was hearing, how could someone be both Vampire and werewolf? It was just crazy and jade didn’t even know it was possible. All though in till a little while ago she didn’t even know vampires were real, so this isn’t a surprise to Jade at all. But it was kind of sad that Tyler was both of them which couldn’t have been easy at all for him, but then she wondered how that even worked? Did that mean he was able to go in the sun or not? She had so many questions that she needed to ask to understand this, but at the same time she didn’t want to overwhelm him.
“So you are both then I didn’t even know that a person could be both, so can you not walk in the day then?” She asked him. “Or what about the moon do you still like wig out in the month.” She then wondered about this Klaus guy and knew he had to be bad news, she then wondered if maybe she had all ready had a run in with him and didn’t realize it. She hoped that she hasn’t anyway. “So why did he make you like him? Or did you want to be like him.” She asked him. She would hate to be both having to deal with all that came with it. It was all ready bad enough having to deal with a full moon three times a month. She could only imagine having to deal with that along with the hunger for blood.
He seemed to understand that Jade was happy to meet others and didn’t want to be alone, she then wondered how many others he knew that where like him. “So are there others that are like you? I mean like half vampire half werewolf ?” She wondered.

----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler could tell that Jade was completely confused. And really, who could blame her? Who would think that this kind of stuff was real? Not just being a werewolf or a vampire---which was hard enough to deal with separately---but actually being both. It definitely boggled the mind. But as hard as it was to believe it, it was the truth. Man, our lives are screwed up, he thought to himself. How he sometimes longed for the days when the only thing he worried about was a pop quiz or a fight with his dad over something completely stupid. But unfortunately, those days were dead and gone being replaced by worried being killed by a psychotic freak. When she asked him about his status---if that meant he couldn't walk around in the day and if he still turned---he let out a sigh. Okay, he guessed they were getting into that mess. He didn't know whether or not she was asking about it with the intention of achieving Hybrid status, but it would only be fair to warn her. "I can still walk around in the day, I'm not really sure why that's different from someone who's only a vampire. After I transitioned into a Hybrid, I guess my body readjusted myself to where I didn't have to shift into a wolf if I didn't want to. Again, I'm not too sure of how that all works. But unfortunately, I ended up being Sired to the guy---wanting to do anything and everything to please him---because of what the Hybrid status provided for me and that didn't break until I forced myself to shift into the wolf over and over again until I no longer felt grateful to him for the fact that I didn't have to do it if I didn't want to," he explained. When she asked him why Klaus had done what he had done, adding the question of if Tyler had wanted him to, he shook his head and gave a shrug. "I wasn't thrilled about having to lock myself up every full moon, but no, I didn't ask him to do this to me and I'm not sure why he chose me to be his guinea pig," he answered. He wasn't going to mention anything about Elena. What if that put her in danger? He couldn't take that chance. At the question of if there were others like him, Tyler nodded. "There's Klaus of course. He's like---the Original guy, and I think he's made a few others here and there," he answered. Hopefully, they weren't all like Lilly-Beth who had no choice but to stay Sired to Klaus because her werewolf was apparently a raging psycho, but that was none of Jade's business. But he was interested in discovering if there was a way they could find out what made that side of her go nuts and then research a way to keep it calm. Maybe Caroline or Bonnie would know something. OOC Uck. Sorry this is crap. Hopefully it's decent enough for you to work with. -----------------------
