Kyle really hated this. He was on his way up the ranks of the Astros farm system and they traded him. He couldn't believe it. Sure the scouts projected him as 2 or 3 years out from being ready anyways, but still. He didn't want to play for the Giants, he wanted to play for the Astros. It didn't matter, he had to do it, as he had to do what they said. Just like today's meet and greet and autograph signing. Kyle barely stepped off the plane 2 hours ago, hasn't even had time to apartment shop yet and they already wanted him to do something for the team.
He has been on the team all of 2 days, hasn't played a single game for them and yet they expect him to go to the Richmond Community Center and sing and dance for them. Not really mind you, but you get the point. Kyle just had to calm himself down, remember his Buddhism ways. He was doing what he wanted. Sure he feared that if he ever became famous enough the FBI would recognize him, if that were the case, he would just have to run again. It sucked, but that's the way it was. Kyle doubted that of the 6 of them he was the one they wanted most.
So he showed up at the community center, ready to play dancing monkey for them. Not that he didn't appreciate his "Fans", if he had any, he just felt a little jet lagged and wanted to rest. But this was one of those contractually obligated things that he couldn't get out of. OK Kyle, calm, you have met fans before. Just treat it like every other autograph signing, though being so new to the team he doubted anyone would want his autograph anyways. He stood outside the community center, pacing. His new team, the Flying Squirrels made him wear his uniform with "Kendrick" spelled on the back in dark red letters.
He hated his new name, but becoming famous as Kyle Valenti, a name the FBI surely knows would be a bad idea. So what was he to do? At least he was able to keep his dads first name of James, but that was little comfort to him. Any minute now he would be told to go and sit at the table. Sign the 8X10s that they made him take in his new uniform just two days ago. He had no right to complain, other then the traveling and living out of a suitcase for half the season, it really was an easy job, and Kyle was good at it, so he wasn't likely to get fired, unless he became a problem of some sort.
He wondered how the rest of his "kind" was doing. If they had an ok life as well. There has been only one thing lacking in his life. He had his religion, he had his sport that he loved so much, and he had his dreams, the only thing he didn't have was a girlfriend. For years he called it the "Liz Curse". But he realized he was being to harsh on her, so he stopped. But he felt like he was doomed to be forever single. "They are ready for you Mr. Kendrick." Some team rep said to him. He nodded and enters the community center, he bumped into someone on the way in.
"Sorry, didn't see you there." He spoke to them. He didn't know who they were, he just prayed they weren't an obsessive fan, he had a few of those in the past.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow was driving off the community center, her collage was doing a fund raiser that Willow couldn't help but want to take part in. Plus she really was enjoying the school she was going to, so anything that she could do to help she was going to. Plus it was a nice change of pace, it seemed all she was ever doing was working on magic, along with dealing whatever new thing was a foot. So it was nice to do something else for a change. She wanted Lenore to come but when she talked to her it didn't seem like she was feeling well today. It must have still been from that party they went to that turned out to be nuts. One thing is for sure this witch is done with Party for a good long while. But it was all good because there was a change Buff might show up later, they talked about hanging out and doing things there once Willow was done with the fund Raiser. Willow parked the car arriving at the community center, it seemed like a busy day there the place seemed packed. Which was good that would mean the fund raiser would do well today which was what they needed. Getting out Willow grabbed the cookies she had made for it, quickly making her way in. The town did in face have a nice community center, a lot bigger from the one they had in Sunnyvale. But then again the one in Sunnyvale is no more, it nothing now but a big pile of dust along with the town. Willow saw that the other day went they went to check out and visit it. Still nothing more the a pile of dirt, rubble, and debris. Willow walked over to where they were setting up and began to get things ready. Placing everything out making sure it was all just right. Everything she made looked so good it was hard not to eat everything herself, she just hoped that everyone here liked all the cookies as well. Willow had needed this to get her mind off things, lately all she has thought about was Oz. She wanted so much for him to be happy, but at the same time she wanted so much to be with him and couldn't. As she sat there at her booth she then noticed someone that looked a lot like Oz. It was him Willow knew she had to talk to him, but right when she was about to she noticed him with someone else. A part of Willow just wanted to die she was so hurt from seeing that, but she didn't really know why she had wanted so much for him to just be happy. Maybe it was because it was her first time really seeing him happy with someone else. Willow began to walk back to her booth not going to to say anything at all, feeling like she was going to cry and break down when all the sudden she crashed into someone. "Oh god I'm so sorry, I don't know where my head is." She felt so bad for running into the man but she couldn't help it with how she was feeling, trying not to cry. The community center must of been completely booked today. Kyle had seen musicians of some kind come and go all day long, followed by the Local AA baseball teams fan meet and greet and autograph sighing, and on top of that, the next room over the college was having a fund raiser of some kind. Kyle planned on going to it after the meet and greet to see what he could buy. He was all for supporting schools, especially since most of the money earned at these things usually went to art, music or even sports, depending on the college.
So Kyle liked to try and help out as the programs were being cut more and more often now a days. He could smell the baked goods already as he entered the community center. He was on a strict diet of course, but he could splurge from time to time and get some pie or cookies. That must of been why he was distracted when he ran into the girl, was the thought of baked goods in his stomach. "Its ok, its completely my fault. Everything happens for a reason." Kyle told her with a smile. He at first though that maybe this was his lucky day. A cute girl just bumps into him.
But his hopes were soon dashed when he saw her face and she was holding back tears. Kyle was lonely and desperate, but he would never try to pick someone up who was upset, he had honor. Her face showed him that she was heart broken, the kind of heart broken that can only come from a romance gone bad. He sighed, she was cute and her being heart broken broke his heart. "Are you ok?" Kyle asked her stopping her from walking off. Kyle guessed that she must be working the school fund raiser drive, as that was where she was coming from.
Kyle knows this look all to well cause he must of had this same look on his face for months after Liz broke up with him. For some reason he was really broken up over it, and often that manifested into anger and hate and not nice thoughts. It wasn't till he found Buddhism did he calm himself down and finally got over Liz. Kyle could care that this girl had a heart of gold and would never be angry or hate filled towards the person that did this to her. She was to pure for that. "If you don't get if off your chest it will eat you up inside." Kyle told her with a smile trying to cheer her up.
"I'm K...James, and whoever upset you so much is an idiot and doesn't deserve you anyways." Kyle said truthfully to her. He knew his Buddhism ways were not for everyone so he tried not to preach it to people, even his friends back in the day gave him a hard time about it sometimes. Kyle didn't know why, but he really, really wanted this girl to calm down right now, as she didn't deserve to be so upset over something. Let alone a jerk guy or whoever breaking her heart.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow felt like the biggest idiot running into someone, but then again it was because her head wasn’t where it should be. It hasn’t been since Oz came back, all she has though about has been him and how to handle it all. But the one thing she wonder the most was how he would take meeting Lenore? She worried so much that it was going to be another Tara and Oz blow out when they last met which isn’t what she wanted. She wanted to be able to be with her girl and still have her friend at the same time, she really didn’t want him leaving town like the last time. But who knows what will happen it may not be her choice in it all, it was all up to Oz with what happened. “No its not your fault it was mine I wasn’t looking at all to where I was going, my head just isn’t here today.” Said the Witch trying not to lose it. “Things for me lately have been so crazy, I’m so sorry I didn’t hurt you did I?” She asked the man. She really felt bad that she had hit the man, now her sadness was hurting people she didn’t even know. Next thing she knew she would be using magic not on command. She really needed to chill out some. Willow knew the best thing to do would be to walk away and leave this man back to what he was doing. Plus she really didn’t want him to see her cry. But it wasn’t going to happen, she felt him grab her back asking if she was ok. “Yeah I guess I have a lot on my mind right now.” She didn’t know why but for some reason she felt like she could talk to him, almost like she wanted to open up to him. He asked her to talk to him and Willow didn’t object. Well I have a lot of confusion going on, you see an ex came back that I had not seen in a long while and now all the sudden all these feelings are popping up. I just know what to do.” Said the witch in a lost like tone. “I guess I sill love him.” She smile at what he said even though he was wrong, Oz was a great person who would disserve her again. “Well he didn’t upset me on purposes, he just came back and now I’m confused. You see I’m with someone new and for some reason I miss him so much. I guess because I knew if he came back sooner I would be with him.” She admitted. "Its no ones fault." Kyle offered hoping to cheer her up. If it was anyone's fault is was the person who did this to her. Not hers, not his. But as Kyle told her, everything happened for a reason, maybe they were suppose to meet, and maybe they were suppose to be friends and maybe Kyle was suppose to help her through whatever she was going through. "No, I'm not hurt." Kyle said with a smile, he has ran into walls trying to catch a line drive, he has run into the catcher at full speed trying to score a run, this was really nothing to him, as he has been through worse.
"Don't we all." Kyle said, it wasn't really a question, it was more of a statement. She said she had a lot on her mind, so did Kyle. Kyle had to worry about where he was gonna fit in on his new team, where he was gonna live, if and when he will ever get the chance to meet someone and fall in love, where his friends were and how they were doing, and how to control his new powers. So Kyle knew what she was going through, even though his problems were really different from her problems, he understood what was wrong.
"Can you live without him? Can you live without the person you are with?" Kyle asked her, it may have sounded like an odd question, but he had a reason to ask. "If you feel you can live without one of them, then you should be with the one you can't live without." Kyle told her looking down. "A girl I knew was in a similar situation. She had to choose between two guys, one guy she loved with all her heart and couldn't live without. The other she only wanted to be friends with. She made the right choice." Kyle told her, speaking of Liz. He didn't sound bitter over it, but it did sting a bit.
"Can you and the guy who came back be just friends?" Kyle asked her with a smile. Him and Liz became good friends, almost best friends, despite the fact that she broke his heart. He got over it and he knew that Liz really loved Max, so the resentment towards Max wore off too eventually. "I'm sure he knows that. But if you love the person you are with, you can't break their heart to be with him." Kyle told her, last thing he wanted was to put someone else in the position he was once in. "Whats your name?" He asked her, noticing that she didn't give it to him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Thing for Willow lately had her head spinning at a hundred miles an hour, she was not thinking clearly at all. Which for her was not good at all, she was not sure of anything. Right now with how she had been feeling she knew one thing for sure, she should not do magic for a long while. Her spells could kill someone , just the wrong thing and boom! Someone could be turned to mush forever. Which was not good she was in Richmond to help the gang take on evil and round up the potentials. What use was a witch that couldn’t think clearly? Nothing just powerless! Well that’s the way she felt anyway, even though to her friends she knew she was more then that. Which was why they were always such good friends to her and loves them for that. He asked a big question one that Willow didn’t really know how to answer, and that was could she live with out them? She didn’t know what to say, this was another thing that had been going threw her mind that had her confused. “I don’t think I can live with out ether one, I’m so close with Oz I have been for a long time. I mean he was my first love he knows everything about me. And Lenore well she looks just like the girl I was madly in love with my soul mate, so you see its hard to pick between the two.” She told him. It seemed like he had been threw a confusing time as well and could relate to Willow, she didn’t know why but she really felt like she could talk to this guy, and she didn’t even know him yet. “Well I’m glad your friend made the right choice, I just hope I can.” Her and Oz pretty much were friends for now anyway, they never would be anything more. Plus Willow didn’t know what she was doing, last she checked she was suppose to be gay. “Yeah that’s what we are now, well at lest I think anyway.” “ She said in a confused like tone. “He was right Willow couldn’t take a chance in hurting Lenore, she really did care about her and how she felt. “yeah I know you are right I don’t know what I’m thinking, I’m not that’s what is it. Which is surprising seeing that I’ supposed to be the smart one in my bunch.” She then realized she had not told him her name, she felt so rude. “Oh I’m sorry I’m Willow.” She said taking out her hand to sake his. Kyle really missed his... friends right now. He guessed they were considered friends, right? Kyle tried to think about each relationship he had. Him and Liz, despite everything, became good friends. Him and Maria didn't hang out that much, but they were friends, right? Isabel and him became really good friends, and by extension Max and Michael as well. Did they care about him? Did they wonder where he was? Would they mind never seeing him again? Kyle was going through a confusing time right now too, with his new powers, moving to a new town, and being completely alone.
He never blamed them for leaving him, but he wished they hadn't. He really needed their help, and still does. Even 4 years after his powers first came in he still struggles to control them. "Well, you don't have to. Can one of them just be a friend? My friend and the boy she dumped ended up becoming best friends. Can one of them be your best friend too?" Kyle asked her. Kyle smiled softly. Liz did make the right choice, Kyle would never deny that fact, but that didn't mean that it didn't hurt sometime. He just fished he could find an epic love of his own, but he didn't see it happening.
"Wait, Lenore and Oz?" Kyle asked her. No wonder she was confused, at least partially. She loved a boy and a girl. Kyle wasn't shocked, and it didn't change anything to find out she was gay, or bi, or whatever it would be called, but the fact that she couldn't decide what she was right now. Kyle thought about this for a few moments. "You think you may only love Oz because of what you once had?" He asked her. Also he thought that it sounded like if Oz came back sooner, he would of gotten her heart first, but what would of happened when she met Lenore? Would it have been reversed?
Would Willow be considering dumping Oz right now for Lenore if Oz got to her first? "Its ok, I haven't been able to think about much of anything the last few years. This is actually helping me take my mind off of things." Kyle told her truthfully, he wanted to help her, he knew that any minute the team assistant would come and drag him off to the table to sign autographs, but he didn't want to do that, he wanted to help Willow right now. He smiled at her when she said her name finally. "Like the tree?" He asked her, it really was a great name and he had never heard it before.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~She was hitting the right points that pretty much what Oz was to her, he was a close friend to Willow. But that still didn’t change all the feelings that she had, it was theses feelings that she had to get rid of other wise it was going to make it hard. Maybe it was because they never really talked about what happened with them. Oz just took his stuff and left. By the time he came back they could never talk about what happened seeing that Willow was so into Tara, who was also the first girl that showed Willow what she really was, helped her realize she was a lesbian. But way was this hard with Lenore? Why was this so confusing with the two. “Well I am friends with the guy its just been hard seeing that I had not seen him in so long, and now all these feelings are like back! I don’t know what to I’m just so confused.” Willow said sounding lost. “So tell me how was your friend ok after while, I mean not so confused and just able to just be there friend. What was there secrete?” Willow needed some kind of help and advice here to get through all this, and at this point she take any word of wisdom he may have. Willow then realized she may want explain about Oz and Lenore, he may not know that she was in fact gay. “Oh sorry did I forget to mention that I’m gay? That could be another reason why I’m so lost here, see Oz was the only man I ever loved, and the only one that I have ever been with.” Said the Witch. “But yeah I cant stop thinking of what we once had, but I think the fact that he isn’t over me doesn’t help. I can tell he isn’t just by the way he is acting.” This guy seemed really cool and like he could be a good friend, it was then that Willow realized that maybe she should stop talking so much about her and a bit more on him. “Well I’m happy this is helping you take your mind off of things, always happy to help.” Willow then realized that she wasn’t upset at all anymore, the tears that she had were gone. She couldn’t understand why all the sudden she was just fine. “Well it seems talking to you has helped me, its strange like you have some kind of power. Its just all the sudden I feel a lot better.” Willow could sense a strong aura coming off of Kyle she knew there was something great about him. She just didn’t know what it was yet. "It took them awhile and at first they had a lot of anger and sadness. "Kyle told Willow when she asked about how Kyle's... Friend handled the break up and how they got over being so confused. "They found... Religion." Came his answer to Willow. Though really, Kyle taking up Buddhism was more to deal with the fact that aliens were real and that he had been healed by one and all that good stuff, then it was to get over Liz, it still helped him move on from her as well, it allowed him to become more accepting of her relationship and feelings for Max.
"They came to the realization that everything happens for a reason. You breaking up with Oz, you meeting Lenore and Oz coming back to late, maybe its for the best?" Kyle asked her. Kyle just smiled at her, he didn't care if she was gay or straight, she was just a good person in his book, and that's all that mattered. "Its ok." Kyle told her. She was adorable when she was rambling about something. "I think Oz was a lucky man, and it sounds like he blew it with you. Maybe its for the best that you are with Lenore now?" Kyle asked her.
"People helping people, there doesn't seem to be enough of that going around anymore." Kyle mentioned to her when she said she was glad that she could him out too. Kyle just shrugged he didn't mind helping someone out, especially if it was a girl who was confused and or heart broken. Willow seemed like a really good person and he wouldn't mind being friends with her. Maybe she could understand what he was and what he was going through? But that was something Kyle felt like he shouldn't bring anyone into, as they could turn on him or get hurt.
They must forgot about him cause they haven't come to take him off to sign autographs yet. Which he was thankful for, though he knew later they might chew him out for missing a public appearance, he didn't feel like doing it anyways. She mentioned that when she talked to him it felt like he had some kind of super power cause he made her feel better. Kyle swallowed hard at this. He knew he had to keep his secret from her. "Nah, super power? Like in comic books?" Kyle asked her with a grin to show her he was teasing a bit.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~“Yeah I’m sure that it will take a while of that lots of that.“ Said the witch. He was right about that it was going to take Willow a lot of Anger and sadness to get through all this, she just wised she had been done and through it all ready. Willow hates to feel sadness and loneliness. It reminds her of the times after she lost Tara, which was a dark and hard time for the witch. Willow was in such a hard time to the point it caused her to go after and hurt the people she loved. Which was something she didn’t want to do or ever do again, she still hates herself in that time. Just thinking about it ticks her off. She wished so much that she could go back in time and take it all back. “Maybe my religion is something that I need to get back into, help me find where I’m at.” She said with a smile. Willow was really happy that she had Kyle here helping her, she really needed a friend in this time of need. “You know you might be right, maybe this is for a reason and if me and Oz are meant to be one day it will happen. But for now I’m with Lenore and she loves me, and I love her. I just saw Oz and feelings just for some reason just came along.” Said Willow. He was so right for some reason she had just became confused, but she was seeing it all clearly now. But it still was never going to change how she felt about Oz, she will always love him. “But thanks you are sweet and I guess he did blow it. But yeah Lenore really is amazing girl you will have to meet her sometime. I mean after all we are friends now.” He was right there wasn’t enough good people anymore in the world, which was why she was so happy to make a friend in Kyle. She knew that the whole gang would think he was sweet, as a matter of fact he might fit right in. There was something about him the witch could sence it, he was able to make her sadness go away just like that. It made her wonder what kind of magic he had deep within him, Willow knew that they really needed to get to know each other better. She could tell too as she asked him he seemed like he was hiding something. “Well powers are very possible, you don’t think they are.” She told him. She then began to whisper a bit to him. “Lets just say I may have power, like witch like powers.” Word Count- 456 Tagged- Fred Outfit- Click To See Willow's Cute OutfitNote- Hope this is ok ~~~~~~~~~~~
"Sure, who knows, maybe you will find your center and will be able to calm yourself." Kyle said with a smile when she mentioned going back to her religion and seeing if it helps. Kyle didn't mind if she had a different religion then him, that didn't matter, most religions goals are the same, and that is to find inner peace in reality. "So what do you do? Whats your job?" Kyle asked her, the conversation was vastly better then the autograph signing, and Willow seemed like a really interesting person and Kyle wanted to know more about Willow.
"Exactly, got to keep your head up." Kyle told Willow when she said that if her and Oz were meant to be, then one day it will happen. Kyle really needed to take his own advice sometimes, if he was gonna meet a girl then it will happen someday, it didn't need to happen now. The problem for Kyle was that he had been alone for so long that he was becoming a bit desperate. So he decided here and now that he will just let it happen, if it was meant to be it was meant to be. Knowing his luck it will probably happen when he least expected it.
"That sounds awesome." Kyle said to Willow with a smile. He was glad that his first day in a new town and he was already making a friend. Yeah it was hard to have friendships because at any moment, maybe, just maybe he would have to run from something. And by becoming her friend he put her in danger. So there were a lot of things to consider when making friends or anything else social for Kyle. Stuff normal people didn't have to worry about. Kyle began to worry that Willow might know that something is up with him.
She then whispered to him that she herself had a power, like a witch. Kyle didn't believe in such things, but 7 years ago he didn't believe in aliens either and yet here he was. Kyle nodded. "You are? That's cool. How does one become one?" Kyle asked her, deciding to let her do all the talking about powers and such. She trusted him with her secret, even though it sounded impossible or out of a book or something, but Kyle believed it. There was nothing in this world that you could tell Kyle that he would say was impossible anymore, not after all he has seen.
But the problem lay in telling her his secret back. For one, Kyle wasn't 100% sure he can trust her yet, it was hard for him to trust anyone, even someone as nice and awesome as her. The second problem was if she found out what she was, it would endanger not only her but everyone Kyle called a friend. So it was unfair that he didn't tell her back right away, but he was unsure if he should. "I don't know if I should tell you..." Kyle said to Willow, his voice trailing off. Sure tell her, expose your secret to the world, no big deal. Where was Max to tell him no when he needed him?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow loved the way that he talked and expressed things, he was such a spiritual person which was rare to find in someone. “Thanks I hope I find mine as well, but I’m sure with all the help and advice you gave me I will. I really am lucky to find and make a friend like you.” Said Willow. He was right about Religion for sure, even though there were all kinds out there they did have a lot of the same goals. Plus in the end we all want the same thing anyway, just to have peace in death. He wanted to know what Job Willow had, when really she didn’t. Which could be part of her problem, she needed something to keep her mind busy. “No at the moment I don’t, but I’m thinking about talking to the local town magic shop and see if they are hiring.” Said Willow. He was right Willow needed to just keep her head up, try to worry about her and keep busy. Other wise she was never going to get over this thing they had going on, it was for the best after all for Oz and Willow. She knows that over time Oz will find someone great for him, better then what Willow could ever give him. “Thanks Kyle I will keep my head up.” She said with a smile. She could tell that they were going to make good friends for a long while, there was just something about him that she knew the gang would love. She could see him and Xander being besties. He seemed almost shocked and amazed to hear that Willow was a witch, she also seemed interested to how she became one. “Well I just got real deep into magic and over time I became pretty powerful, almost to powerful at one time. But it wasn’t easy it took a lot of patience’s and concentration, I have been at it for some time now.” Willow explained. “I will have to show you some spells some time if you like?” She could tell that he was hiding something for Willow she just didn’t know what just yet, she didn’t know why he had to worry after all he could trust her. “Well you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to, I don’t want to make you do anything you don’t want to do.” She told him. “But you can turst me Kyle I promise whatever it is I wont tell anyone, your secrete is safe with me. Come on I have been open to you about everything so you have to know you can.” Word Count- 445 Tagged- Fred Outfit- Click To See Willow's Cute OutfitNote- Hope this is ok ~~~~~~~~~~~

"Thanks, I have been told I am a really good friend." Kyle said with a smile, hiding the fact that he heard that from a pretty girl more times then he could count. He decided not to dwell on that fact and smiled widely at her. "I don't know anyone in this town, and its nice to know that the first person I get to know is nice and caring like you. It gives me hope for Richmond Virginia." Kyle told her the truth. He wasn't looking forward to moving to this town, but now, he was glad to be here, and meeting Willow made his day so much better she would never know how much.
"That would be cool, like card tricks and stuff?" Kyle asked her. Kyle didn't yet know that magic was real. So he assumed she meant like a shot that sold magic tricks and card tricks and instruction manuals on how to saw a women in half without killing her and such. But it did sound like an interesting job if this was the case. Even if Kyle thought it was real magic, like love potions and stuff, he would still think it was pretty cool, even if they did sell frogs legs and such. Willow seemed like such an interesting person and he really was glad to meet her too.
"You are welcome." Kyle responded when she thanked him, really it was no trouble at all. Kyle liked being able to calm people down with his words and actions, especially when he could use Buddhism in that way and not get teased about it. It really did help him through some really tough times, especially recently when he had to learn to control his powers on his own. He still hasn't figured out what his special ability was. Maybe he was defective, everyone else got one, even Liz, but not Kyle, he wondered if he would ever get one.
Kyle wasn't freaked out at all at the revelation that she was a witch, probably cause of who he was and what he knew and he knew there was a lot out there that he didn't know anything about. So witchcraft seemed highly likely. "That's awesome, you are a good witch though, right?" Kyle asked her, wondering if she was gonna turn him into a frog or not, but he doubted it, she seemed like a really nice person and probably was a good witch, so he was just messing with her. But one thing she did say rang true for Kyle, and that was it took her time to control it.
Kyle still didn't control his abilities very well. When the incidents happen, that is what he calls them, he locks himself in the bathroom until the sparks go away and he reluctantly comes out. He tried controlling them one day but only ended up blowing up the TV, and it was a nice pricey one as well. So he didn't try again. "Sure, as long as the spell you show me doesn't turn me into a toad." Kyle said with a smile, again joking with her a bit, but in reality he was dead serious, he didn't want to be a toad, he wanted to be Kyl...James Kendrick, 3rd baseman for the Richmond baseball team.
She told him that he could trust her. Kyle for some reason believed her. Maybe he could tell her, but he didn't have to tell her everything right? He didn't have to tell her about aliens or anything, he just had to tell her he had powers and he didn't know how to control them. He nodded. "Thanks... I..." Kyle said wondering for a moment, was that his power? Calming people down? She said it was almost like a power, he always thought it was just his words and calm nature that calmed people down, he didn't think it was an alien thing.
He pushed the thought out of his mind and decided to get to the bottom of it later. "I can do things, just one day I was able to do stuff normal humans can't." Kyle told her, it wasn't a lie really, just not the whole truth. Maybe later he would be able to tell her everything, but for now he had to keep it as low key as possible.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow understood and knew that feeling better then anyone when it came to not knowing anyone, she was once new to this town as well. She remember that feeling all to well about not knowing anyone, it took her a while before she met and knew anyone. But before long she did, plus it helped that more Slayers came here like Satsu who she still needs to spend some time with. Other wise sooner then later she would be getting a whole lot of crap from a Slayer about not caring. "Yeah I know just what you mean its not fun not knowing for anyone in this town, been there done that and I will tell you this didn't get the t shirt." Said Willow with a giggle. She couldn't help but want to crack up laughing when he said something about card tricks, like that was the kind of stuff that she would be selling. "No not that kind of stuff even though that does sound fun, but magic is so much more then that. Potions, magic books, candles, and things needed to use for spells. It really is in depth stuff." She told him. "But sadly I'm sure they have that stuff there as well as much as I would hate to admit it." She couldn't help but laugh again when he asked if she was a good which, like she was something out of the wizard of Oz or something. Even though sadly things weren't that easy and magical, she wished it was that simple. "Yeah I'm a good witch I will not kill you, all though don't make me mad other wise I may turn into a bad witch." She said with a smile letting him know she was playing around. "But no I don't hurt anyone or use magic for bad I do it all for good." She even would show some of her magic to him when the time was right, if there is one thing that she loved to do it was to amazed with magic. She then cringed a bit when he said toad. "Eww no hate toads and frogs, they freak and gross me out to no end. I kind of have fear of them." She admitted to him. She could tell that this was really hard for him to talk about, Willow understands sometimes its never easy to talk to someone about stuff. She has been there and done that after all the dark magic she went through, it was not easy talking to anyone about all that after it happened. But over time once you do you will feel ten times better. "Like I said Kyle its OK you can talk to me." She told him again. But then finally he was able to come right out and say it to the witch like it was no be deal, she could tell to once he told her a weight had been lifted from him. It seemed that he could do things that not everyone else could do. Willow looked at him wowed in amazement. "Wow why you think that you are able to do these things, I mean did something happen to you?" asked the witch. Kyle smiled at her, she was really nice, but still, he couldn't reveal every secret to Willow, he couldn't reveal that to anyone, no matter how nice they were. Sure she was nice and admitted to being a witch, but that didn't mean she wouldn't freak out finding out what he was. On top of that, she could tell someone on him, though Kyle knew there were a lot of people that claimed to know aliens, but they turned out to be phonies. She would be telling the truth if she told someone, and it would put her in to much danger as well, so he had good reason to not tell her.
He laughed probably for the first time in 5 years over her comment about not getting the tshirt. "Maybe we can get a 2 for 1 deal on them?" Kyle asked her with a grin. She then described what they sold at the store and he nodded. "Like frog legs and dead man fingers?" Kyle asked her, he wasn't trying to tease her, he was just really naive on magic and was curious. What were the ingredients to potions? Kyle could only guess, he doubted they were that gross, but still, they could sell anything. "Can you make me a love potion cause I have not been on a date in years." Kyle asked her laughing, but they realized how sad it must of sounded.
He hoped she didn't think he was pathetic for not being with anyone for that long. He did have dates, just nothing serious, and usually the person would figure out he was hiding something from them and leave, cause he couldn't tell them the whole truth. "That's good, I can tell you are a good witch, your to nice to be evil." Kyle informed her when she said she was good, then she said she hated frogs and was scared of them. "Oh, I'm sorry, didn't know." Kyle told her, he felt bad for bringing up frogs, twice now when she hated them, it was just a common stereotype, witches and their frogs.
He was really glad to get it off his chest. He wasn't able to tell anyone for years what was happening to him, but still, it didn't make it any less scary to admit it. She then asked if something happened to him. This was the part he couldn't tell her, the part that would put him, her and everyone he knew in danger. So Kyle couldn't tell her, even though he kind of wanted to, besides, if Max was here right now, he would be yelling at him to shut his mouth, and Kyle didn't want to betray his friends, even for someone who was a new friend for him.
"When I was younger I think I got beamed in the head with a dodge ball." Kyle told her with a smile to show that he was only joking. He shrugged. "I... I wish I can tell you." He said finally, this is where most of his relationships fell apart, both friendship and romantic relationships, cause of the lies. "I'm sorry, I can't, it would put you in danger if I tell you, plus it isn't really my secret to tell." Kyle told her, hoping she would understand. He really didn't want to lose another friend over this again.
