----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Elizabeth just needed to take a break from all the drama in her life and decided today that she was going to the beach to soak up the sun. She was happy that Noah and Rebekah were working things out with their relationship and she had agreed that she would try and get along with Rebekah for her brother’s sake. Right now Lizzie just needed some time to herself and maybe make some more friends. If she was going to be staying in Mystic Falls she would need more than just her brother and his girlfriend to keep her occupied. She grabbed her brother’s keys off the nightstand and was about to walk out the door when she realized she grabbed the wrong set. “Crap, better go put these back before No has a hissy fit,” she muttered as she walked back inside the house and switched out his motorcycle keys for the car keys since she didn’t have the slightest clue on how to drive a motorcycle and would likely end up crashing it which her brother wouldn’t thank her for if she hurt his pride and joy.
Elizabeth wrote her brother a note telling him that she was going to the beach to relax for the day instead of going to the spa to get a manicure and pedicure. She started the car and drove down to the beach which was about a good few hours away from Mystic Falls. She turned on some Faith Hill and pulled her car out of the drive and she knew her brother was probably going to have a cow and half when he came home and realized that she took the car without asking, but she was in need of a quick getaway for a few days tops at least. She grabbed her bags and threw them into the car.
After a few hours of driving, Lizzie made it Virginia and checked into a hotel and texted her brother and told him that she made it to Virginia in one piece and that she would call him back later. She had never traveled anywhere before by herself and had gotten lost once so in her opinion she was doing just fine if she was able to drive from Mystic Falls to the beach then she could make it back home.
She got out of the car and made her way towards the changing room and quickly stripped out of her tank top and shorts and was in her Ralph Lauren Blue Bahama Paisley Bikini. She slipped her flip-flops back on and made her way down towards the beach. The weather was lovely and she could use some peace and quiet. That was until she heard someone blaring Bon Jovi clear across the beach due to her graceful vampire hearing. Bleh who in their right mind would be listening to that rubbish? Lizzie got up and slipped on her shoes and walked a little further down the coast to find the source of where the noise was coming from and she spotted a young woman with brown (or blonde) hair dancing to the music. Instead of being rude, Lizzie cleared her throat and smiled politely. “Think you got your stereo blaring loud enough?” she asked as she raised an eyebrow up at the girl.

I wasn’t sure when you were going to have Lexi dye her hair blonde so I figured I would go with one of the two unless you have her put blonde highlights in her hair. -----------------------[/b][/center]

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -So it had been a week since Lexi and Elena had gone to drastic measures to bring Stefan back from the other side so to speak….or at least forced him to flip his humanity back on. Luckily he was doing very well with everything so far but was getting a bit crowded…so they had made a compromise. She and Elena would vacate the house for a couple hours (Elena headed to the library to get some studying done since she had been sort of lax on it in the past few weeks) and she headed to the beach. However she had made Stefan give her his ring so that he couldn’t leave the house. She had her phone and if anything happened she would be the first to come to his rescue, but for now she was going to leave him alone.
What he didn’t know was that she hadn’t taken his ring with her. It was hidden in Jeremy’s dresser just in case someone showed up and he needed to make a getaway. She had thought long and hard about that decision but figured it was safest to take it away from him, make him think that she had it, but at least it would be there should anything happen. Elena agreed with her so the two snuck it into Jeremy’s room while Stefan had been in the shower. They were getting quite good at it.
Probably not something that Stefan would be too proud of but eh, what he didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him.
She was pulled out of her thoughts as she heard a couple little kids giggling and she smiled at them from her place on the beach. She loved the beach and hadn't been in ages since she had just recently acquired a daylight ring. Shedding her cover-up and her flip flops she rolled out her towel, and laid down, letting the warm sun soak into her skin. It had been years since she had been able to just lay on the beach in the sun…literally about three hundred and fifty years. So she was definitely planning on enjoying herself.
Men passed her and as they did she watched them check her out, grinning at them all with her dimples showing through. She knew she was pretty, but she wasn’t cocky about it. She simply didn’t let it go to her head…but it was a knowledge that she had. Hearing one guy whistle at her she laughed and closed her eyes, continuing to lay in the sun. She’d talk if someone talked to her, but until then, she was going to relax right where she was. She groaned when someone started playing their radio way too loudly and looked towards where the sound was coming from, noting that someone else was requesting that they turn it down. She walked over to help her out, figuring two people asking was better than one. “Agreed, please turn it down. It’s distracting and I can tell you that we aren’t the only ones who think so.” She stated, motioning to the others around them.
The girl apparently was offended and got up, walking away with her radio in hand. She rolled her eyes and laughed. “A little too dramatic for my tastes and that’s saying something.” She stated to the other girl, smiling. “Didn’t mean to butt into your conversation but you were a lot more polite than I would have been.”

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Elizabeth counted mentally to in her head for the girl to turn down the radio before she had to resort to taking matters into her own hands that involved her simply taking the radio and throwing it into the lake. She was grateful when the burnette who was sitting on a pink beach towel finally spoke up and she smiled as she watched the girl walk off with her radio. "No need to apologize," she replied smiling at Lexi. "I was giving her ten minutes before I walked over there and yanked the batteries out myself though I don't think she would have thanked me very much for it to be honest," she added with a chuckle.
She took off her sunglasses and tucked them in her bag. "I don't think I caught your name," she replied politely. "My name is Elizabeth Brennan, but some call me Lizzie for short unless you're my brother who has way too many nick-names for me to keep track of," she added as she grabbed her beach towel. "Mind if I join you seeing how you are nearly as annoying as some of these people here?" she asked as she looked at Lexi.
She spread out her towel and sat down across from Lexi. The sun felt good beating down on her bare skin. It felt lovely. She was grateful that she had a daylight ring that allowed her to walk around in the daylight. "So....are you from around here?" she asked. The sound of the water rocked along the beach and it was peaceful and the wind blew slightly and she smiled softly. This was just what she needed some peace and relaxation and make a new friend in the process. Tagged: Lexi Branson Words: 289 Outfit: Click For Lizzie’s Outfit Notes: Sorry for the delay. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - “Ten minutes? You are a whole lot nicer than I am… I would have given her about two and that was if I was wanting to be nice. And as you could probably tell I’m not in the nice mood today which is the reason I said something now.” She stated with a smirk, her eyes shown with irritation at someone who would be as disrespectful enough to bring a huge stereo on the beach and then blast crap music rather than bring a pair of headphones. She really didn’t understand people today but that was probably for the best at this rate.
Hearing that the girl’s name was Elizabeth Brennan she knew immediately who she was. Lexi and Noah didn’t talk about their families much but she had heard the story of when he found out that she had actually been turned, though apparently there was more to the story than she knew to which they were planning on meeting to discuss it in the next few days they had just both been busy. She clearly didn’t know who Lexi was so she figured she’d have a bit of fun with her, or at least make her make a weird face when telling her. “Noah does tend to come up with some weird ass nicknames for people.” She stated with a snicker.
She could see the confusion in the vampire’s eyes and she laughed. “I’m Lexi by the way, Lexi Branson…your brother and I go back about 75 years or so. He told me about you coming back into his life a few days ago but we haven’t been able to hook up for me to get the full story.” She told her, remembering Noah’s frantic text message a few days earlier telling her that his sister was actually alive, well, undead so to speak, and that his girlfriend, who Lexi was not in the know about either, had turned her. She really needed to start having monthly staff meetings or some shit as this whole not knowing things was starting to get to the brunette vampire who really needed to get back to the salon to get her hair back to being blonde.
She laughed before smiling apologetically. "Actually I am getting ready to leave. I only had a couple hours to myself and now I have to head back. Tell your brother to call me." She told her before picking up her stuff and waving.
Back to the job she was determined to do.
