----------------------- [/b]  -----------------------[/b] The mall’s ice cream shop did have the best ice cream around. April thought for a moment about what she needed to get. She did need to get some nail polish and possibly pick up a new Bon Jovi t-shirt. She was enjoying herself to say the least. “Some nail polish, a few band t-shirts, and maybe a CD from Hot Topic,” she said as she bit her ice cream cone. She chuckled when Jeremy started to eat his ice cream too fast. It reminded her of the old days back when they were young and didn’t have a care in the world about anything. “You should know not to eat your ice cream so fast otherwise you may get a brain freeze,” she teased as she grabbed a napkin and wiped the ice cream off her lips and got up to throw her trash away.
April waited for Jer to finish eating before making their way out of the shop. She pulled out her money and paid for both their ice creams, before Jeremy could protest about her paying. “Fine how about we each pay half? Seeing how you aren’t going to let me pay for both our ice creams,” she teased as she gave him five dollars to pay for her half. She led the way to Hot Topic and started to browse around looking through the sales’ rack for t-shirts that were on sale and a big grin spread across her face. “Looks like I hit the jack pot,” she said as she began digging though the shirts.

---------------------- [/color]  ----------------------[/color] He liked the sound of going to hot topic it was one of his favorite stores in the mall, after all they did have pretty sweet T shits as well as some good music. “Yeah I want to pick up muse new Cd, but I wonder if I should get a new par of Dc shoes. I have had mine for a while but Elena might kill me if I spend that kind of money” Jeremy said while taking a lick of his ice cream cone. He laughed with April for giving him hell for eating his cone. “Look I couldn’t help its good. Plus I get like brain freezes really easy, remember it happens all the time when we are kids. Ether that or I was getting it on me.”
Jeremy finished off his cone so they could get the hell out of there and do some shopping. He wasn’t going to let April pay for all of it even though she wanted to, he wasn’t the kind of guy to let girls pay that just wasn’t his style. But he would agree to each going in. “Yeah we can each go in but I’m not letting you take care of all it.” he told her while pointing at her. They then made there way out of the store off to find Hot Topic to get some shopping done.
They found the store making there way inside and it seemed they were having a T shirts sale. “Well we picked a good time to come in didn’t we, looks like they are having a sale. So what kind of shirts are you getting then?” he asked her while looking through the rack. He then pulled out what looked like a Justin Bieber. “Please tell me you are not into this guy?” He asked her trying not to laugh.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] “Fine I will let you pay half, happy?” April said as she handed him the money to pay for her cone and he could pay for his own cone. It was just like back in the day when they were kids. Plus Jeremy wasn’t the type to make someone pay for something without chipping in. “Muse has a new CD out? Cool!” April said as she smirked as she led the way to Hot Topic. She liked band t-shirts and started going through the sales rack and found ten t-shirts that were her size along with a stud belt. “Are you nuts I hate Justin Bieber,”’ she replied as she rolled her eyes. “I’m more into the metal bands like Disturbed and All That Remains,” she added as she grabbed some ink pens and note pad that were also on sale too. “Does your sister still right by any chance? If she does I may swing by Claire’s and pick her up a new notebook that has some cute little skull and cross-bones on it along with some pens and swing by your house and visit with her if she will allow me to grace her with my presence that is,” she added with a wink.
Yes April was having a great time hanging out with her best friend who was practically like a brother to her. “Here is a hot t-shirt you can buy,” she teased as she threw a hot-pink boy t-shirt at him and noticed the look he was sending her and she busted out laughing.

---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] April and him were always playing around fighting over something dumb, even if it was something as dumb as paying for each others food. But that’s why they made great friends, they made fun out of things they did. Jeremy really could forget about all the drama that was going on in his life for a bit, which was what he needed right now. “Yeah they do have a new Cd and I hear that its pretty good, we so need to check it out.” Said Jeremy
He laughed showing her the Justin Bieber shirt, more playing around then anything. He knew better then that and knew she wasn’t into him. She was a lot cooler with music, she always has been. “Disturbed now you are talking, I freaking love them! Great music for when you are trying to let out anger. I listen to that sometimes when I draw, helps let out more inspiration.”
She wondered if Elena still writes, which she does that’s a part of her that has never stopped. She always writes her in journal and probably always will. “Yeah she does you should she would love that if you got that for her, and yeah she so would love for you to come over soon.” Jeremy said with a smile.
She then through a pink t shirt at Jeremy, hoping he would like it. “No I don’t think this color would look very good with my eyes.” He said kidding around back with her. “No thanks I don’t do pink, so I will pass on this.” He said while putting it back on the rack. “So you going to get anything or what? They have so many great band shirts pick one. I know what I’m getting, this shoes that I have wanted so badly.”

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] April picked up the journal and smiled when Jeremy answered her question. “Awesome and sure I will stop by tomorrow and we can hang out or I can catch her at the pool,” she added with a smile. She listened as he continued talking. “Since when did you start back drawing? I thought you were more into video games?” April teased as she smiled at Jeremy. She really was enjoying herself and spending time with Jeremy was just what she needed. She needed to have a few human friends in her life even if they were like her second family. She smiled as she spotted a drawing kit and noticed that Jeremy wasn’t looking and she quickly grabbed it and stuffed it in her jacket.
“Hey look there’s a guy that looks like Joe Dirt with the mullet haircut and everything,” she added with a snicker as watched Jeremy and snuck over towards the counter to pay for her packet and quickly stuffed it inside her purse and noticed the annoyed look Jeremy had and smirked. “What? Can’t take a joke?” she teased as she reached out and lightly punched Jeremy on the shoulder and smirked. “So did you find everything you were looking for?” she asked as she looked at him and adjusted her bag on her back and smiled.
“I should be heading back home soon after I drop you off,” she replied as she waited for Jeremy to answer her question patiently. She felt her phone viberate in her pocket and she saw it was a text from her father asking her what she was doing and she texted him back telling him that she would be home later.

---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] “Yeah I’m sure you will be able to catch up with her for sure, and she will like that very much.“ He told her. April was right about one thing, Jeremy did like to play games and he did pretty well when he got in the zone. But there is just something about drawing that he loves, something that lets him let go of what he is feeling. “No I still draw are you kidding! Yes I do love to play some games that is true but I still love to draw, I mean it’s a passion of mine something that calms me down.” said Jeremy.
Jeremy then looked noticing the man she was looking at, he guess that he kind of looked like Joe Dirt he was more like a loser really. “yeah I guess.” he said to her before she hit him in the arm. “Hey that hurts!” He said while rubbing his arm. “And yeah I can take a joke I just don’t know if he looked like him fully. But then again its been so long that I saw that movie so what do I know.”
“But Yeah I think I found all I was looking for anyway.“ He said while looking in his bag. Jeremy did find a lot that he was looking for, a new shirt, a pair of shoes and even a new Cd. Now all he had to do was tell his sister about all the money he spend, he was sure that she would be thrilled.
She then said that she needed to get back soon, which Jeremy was totally ok with he needed to get back as well. “Yeah lets head out its getting late and I need to get back, I have more home work so.” The then made there way out of the mall and back home, April dropped Jeremy off before making her way back home to her dad.
