The older sections should work." he said after a moment of thought. "Its by the woods so we can go there and practice." he smiled at how excited Jeremy was with his crossbow, "I felt the same way when I got my hunting rifle." he admitted as he looked over at him. "Its a right of passage."
The movie was getting intense andd it caught his attention for a little bit as he watched Brad Pitt's character get a bunch of guys to do his bidding. He doubted he'd be half as charismatic as that guy but then he wasn't asking to control lots of people either. He just wanted him and his friends to survive the town supernatural crap that kept happening. It felt like they were outnumbered. They needed to be strong, "Jer, Elena can handle herself. She knows what she's getting into. I understand worrying, but sometimes you gotta take care of yourself first. Eventually Elena will figure out how to stay out of trouble. We can hope anyway." He realized that most of the crap that happened to Elena was partially her need to help everyone and partially the people she hung around but if she was going to constantly put herself in the forefront then she was going to get banged up. It felt like they were telling a toddler not to stick her hand on a burning stove only to find out she did it to show another friend it would hurt.
"Making stakes sounds like a new pastime. Not something I'd normally be doing but hey its not like our lives are normal any more." he took a sip of his beer and grabbed another slice of pizza.

It was all settled then they had a place that they could go to and work on practicing, that way in this town they would feel a lot safer. Plus Jeremy would feel a whole lot better in keeping Elena safe. “Hutting rifle huh I would like to see that, you will have to bring that along to. But yeah there isn’t a lot of people around there at all, so yeah it will make for a great place for us to practice.” Said Jeremy.
He was right Elena did know how to take care of herself, but that didn’t mean that Jeremy still didn’t worry for her. After all she was the only family he had left he couldn’t take losing her, he doesn’t even want to think of something happening to her. He all ready had lost so much. “Yeah but with this town and our luck you never know what could happened to her Matt. Plus If I don’t look out for her and worry who will, I mean she has Stefan but who knows when he could go Ripper again.” He explained.
Jeremy finished off the rest of his Pizza and beer, he was full and it had the spot after a hard days work. “Yeah I guess it isn’t really the best past time but it’s a good skill to have I guess.” Matt was right it was kind a crazy past time, but it was something they needed to learn how to do. The next few days with each other was going to be pretty interesting. Before they knew it they would be skilled just as much as Alaric was, or at lest he hoped.
He then looked over at the clock and realized what time it was, and he wanted to get rest if they were going to be training. “You know what man I think I’m going to get some sleep, I had a pretty rough day. I will see you in the morning.” he said getting up going to the guest bedroom, excited for the next day of hard core training.
