------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] "You really gotta start picking better meet up spots!" Annie said out loud to herself. Everything was already set up for her grand entrance. Everything was perfect ready. But shit. It was hard to breath down here! Last thing Annie would need would be to start hacking up a lung which would totally blow her cover. She was acting like a demon here. She had been at this for a month now. Tracking this nest. They were causing all kinds of issues, and if she could just get the leader, then it would all come down.
She's been acting like a demon, meeting some of the lowers for a while. But she'd gained his trust enough to meet him here. Close to his nest. If anything went too wrong, he'd call them here, and she'd die. But it was something she was willing to risk. She had to risk it. It's what she did. So she had things ready to go. She had paint on the walls which she hid by dirt, she had a smoke bomb she'd set off when she was ready to poof in. But most of all she had these black contacts in. That was the case and point. The hook. The killer. Made her look the part. She already had a bad attitude, and she was nasty. So she could pass, so long as they did not look too close, or get to close, she'd be good. She really had all her stuff covered. She even had applied some fake burns to her chest, encase they pored some holy water on her. She got this covered. Or she thought she had.
So now she just had to wait. But she did not have to wait long. Here they come. Three or four, maybe more. Who knew. She did not care. She just needed to find the big boy up top, kill him and a few important people, and be on her way. It did not take long for a conversation to be had. Annie talking about all the ways she could help them, if they only agreed to work together. Things were going just perfect. Great ever. She was sending out lies like they were nothing. Everything was going the way she wanted it to. Even down to the killing part. She knew thy would never just agree to her terms. Things would take time. But she did not care if they agreed or not, they would die. And so they did. She even managed to kill three vampires, a few more would come, she knew they would. But she got three of them before anyone really knew what was going on. And so the fight began. More vampires came, and more she killed. Mostly with a few dead mans blood bombs she'd made. That weakens them enough for her to cut off a few heads.
But it would be too late for her. She now could hear someone running towards her. She was not sure who or what it was. She turned just in time to see Sam Winchester, the man she had been avoiding her whole life coming towards her his hand raised, before she could even blink, something hard hit her in the head, and all she saw was black.
She had no idea how long she was out, but a bright light, a very very bright light brought her back to herself. She could feel tight bonds holding her feet and arms to a chair. Stupid chair. She always had to have a chair to sit in, it added dramatic effects. Of course she already panned on using it, but looks like that little weapon was used on her now. Here she was bidden to a chair, a chair that used to kill people, an old one, but it would hold a vampire. It surly would hold her. She began to struggle as she blinked trying to see pat the light shinning on her eyes. She noticed a cool breeze, and could feel part of her shirt had been damaged in the fight. Her chest was pretty exposed, showing the fake burns she had put on before. They were pretty convincing, maybe not under this light. But it would have done well in the dark cave. She knew she was still in the cave by the thick air. But the light. it was so freaking bright. And her dang contacts were hurting her eyes, which only made her irritated.
"SHOW YOURSELF! I know your out there SAM!" She thrashed in her seat, her memory catching up to her. It was the Winchester boys. They would know who she was, and they would call that Angel they love so much. He'd come down and strike her dead, right here. But that's not how she planned on going. She was going to die in a fight. So gosh darn it, a fight she was going to have. If she had to die at the hands of another hunter fine, but you better bet she'd die with her head held high, and her feet a kicking. He just made his life a whole lot harder. Oh but she'd have to watch out for his over protective brother. Dean would be a harder one to kill.... But no worries. She'd get away. She knew she would, she always had, always would. No one could hurt a poor little girl like her. She just had to play it up. So maybe the whole yelling for revenge was not a great start to her plan. But she'd get these contacts out some how, and play it up that way.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - Sam officially felt like the woman that Dean often called him. Not many men would admit that but at the moment that's what he felt like. Before he had officially left Stanford (of course this was weeks after Jess had died and he had finally pulled his head somewhat together) he had arranged for a storage unit to be in his name in California with all of his stuff in it that hadn't been ruined in the fire. Once he had officially enrolled in school he had the contents transferred from the storage unit in California to the storage unit here, and that was what he was looking at now. It had taken him two days to sort of everything since all of Jess' belongings had been put with his. He hadn't known that at the time but he was grateful that they were. He knew her parents would want some of them and there was a few things he would keep as well.
Anyway, it had taken him a few days however he had finally gotten everything sorted out. The storage unit he had gotten was larger than he really needed however he figured that eventually he would need the space so he didn't think anything of it. On one side was his 'hunting clothing'. It was all the things that he needed while hunting, jackets, dark jeans, old boots, the works. Plus he had also stored some of the larger weapons and a few of the books that he and Dean often used. Sure the Impala had places for most of the weapons but over the years they had collected a few more that didn't have a specific place, so he had an extra key made for Dean and figured they would build something for the weapons in here.
On the other side was his 'school clothing'. Realistically most of it was very similar however he also knew that half of his clothes got ruined on a weekly basis due to the job that he did so he wanted to have a few things that didn't look as if they had been caked in blood more than once which most of his hunting clothing had been. Hence the few new shirts and a couple new pairs of jeans. Along with the clothing was his old books from Stanford in case he needed to brush up on a particular subject. Next to the books was a new book bag that he had purchased. He still had his old one but that’s usually what he ended up using to pack books and weapons while on a hunt so he figured he could use a new one. This was the reason that he felt like a woman at the moment…the fact that he had essentially turned a storage unit into a large walk in closet. His older brother would never let him live it down.
Luckily for him he had finished this the other day as he had gotten a phone call from Ted, a hunter that he had met back when he was soul-less (one of the few that had actually answered his calls when he had called to apologize) had given him the details on a nest of vampires that had been meeting with a few lower level demons and trying to figure out a way to take over the town. This Sam found odd and definitely thanked Ted for the tip before hanging up the phone. He had originally thought about calling Sarah and asking if she wanted to join him being that she was a vampire slayer and all but after thinking about it he figured that he would deal with it himself. He assumed Sarah was at work and he had left a message for Dean letting him know where he was going but refused to wait for him. He really didn’t know where his older brother was today though if he could guess he would say either with Lisa and Ben or Bobby.
Heading towards where Ted had told him the vampires nest was he wasn’t surprised that the directions led him to a cave underneath the town. This town, like a few of the others that he and Dean had encountered over the years, seemed to be almost built for vampires and others to come to. Caves underneath the town, what else would need them other than evil? Before he could even really gather his bearings or allow his eyes to adjust to the dark he heard a commotion, a loud commotion.
He quickly made his way towards where the noise was coming from and watched in astonishment as a small demon took out vampire after vampire. He was surprised to see her take out an entire nest on her own, but in the aftermath of it that’s when he struck. He took out a gun but instead of killing her, as that would clearly not give him the information he needed, he hit her on the back of the head with it and once she was down he did his thing. He saw a chair for some odd reason in the corner of the room and quickly brought it to the center, drawing a devil’s trap around it before dragging the demon into the chair and tying her down. He then put his bag up against the cave wall and stood behind the demon, waiting for her to wake up.
He was impressed, it didn’t take as long as he had anticipated…however what surprised him was that instead of asking who had caught her, she yelled his name. Walking around so that he was outside the devil’s trap but close enough for her to see he quirked an eyebrow. “You rang?” He asked with a smirk, a smirk that could have been taken right from his evil self’s face but it was just a mask. “So I’m going to ask a few questions and you’re going to answer, sound good?”

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] "Your SICK! you know that right!?" Annabeth growled under her breath. She knew San and Dean were hunters, and she assumed every hunter was on her side. Guess that was a bad assumption. Looks like nothing was below the brothers. How in the world could he justify hitting her on the back of the head knocking her out and proceeding to tie her to the chair she dragged down here for dramatic effect. She was sitting in this very chair when the vampire came closer. It just added to her whole theme thing. It really was a production. Very... fun. Exciting even. But shit! She was A CHILD! well no not really. But everyone seemed to think she was, everyone but Sam.
At least she respected him a little more for it. At least he saw past her looks and saw her as a threat, or he never would have attacked her, he never would have tied her up. Sure she must look like a demon. But really? Her makeup was not that great, and her contacts were super itchy, her eyes were dry, yet at the same time they were filling with tears. Her contacts almost sticking to her eyes, causing her to blink a lot more then normal. Then again that light was all up in her eyes. Why was that necessary? And if he was a good hunter, he'd notice the makeup on her chest was just that make up. But maybe he was trying to be 'modest'. There was no modesty in hunting. She'd walked out practically naked before. But she owned it. Thank god she was about 9 and no one arrested her. But she still got a couple looks.
"I don't take orders for anyone. Least of all from YOU!" She answered, now kicking a struggle in full gear. Just tipping the chair back and forth, if she was not careful she'd end up on her side. So of course she was forced to stop. She knew he would not pick her up, he'd just let her stay on her side. That would be a very uncomfortable place to be. "Now here's how it's going to work." Annie said. "You might want to take some notes. From what I hear, your a bit slow when it comes to rules." She spat out, literally spitting some blood out from her mouth. She did get a nice punch to the face in the fight with the vampires. But she clearly won, a little worse for wear, but she'd heal in a few days. Assuming Sam did not kill her. Then again, she was convinced he was holding her here waiting for his angel from to come 'save' her or whatever it was they did.
"Your going to untie me, and let me be on my way. No one gets hurt. I'd rather not have to hurt you or that brother of yours. I did what I acme here to do. I took care of that Vampire nest back there. So your welcome." She added with a smile that was filled with a bit of blood. But hey, it was only a small wound, it just looked bad seeing as it was in her mouth. "I may be 14 but I promise you, You wont walk away from the fight. Just back away and you can keep your life." Annie informed him. "It's really simple right. Let me go now, and I wont hurt you? Kay?!" She asked changing her tone to more of a cheerleader preppy tone. All happy and what not. But really. This was getting old, and in hie sight, she really should have taken a different approach, but she honestly did not know the brothers, so she was not sure what they were like, or how to hit their heart strings.
"And what would that brother of yours say anyway?" Annie asked, her head turning to her side slightly. "Tying up a little girl, hitting her over the head, Which HURT by the way!" Annie added, getting a bit louder. But she stopped herself from yelling too much. Yelling would get her no where. "shit. What did I ever to do you!" She mumbled under her breath looking down and noticing what Sam had done. Instantly she started laughing. Sure it made her look a little crazy. But he honestly though she as a demon! Really? Her?! Of all people. It was very laughable. "Are you KIDDING me! Sam! You think I'm a demon. How cute." She giggled, to the point of her eyes tearing up enough to unsticking her contacts from her eyes. Which meant only a matter of time before they came out. God. How dence could he be! Honestly, her a demon. She was nothing but HUMAN! DUH! Even if he threw holy water on her, you'd think he'd notice the burns on her chest were makeup! MAKEUP! She could not be THAT convincing... then again she really did under estimate her skills. It was a boost to her confidence if anything.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - He was surprised at the animosity coming from the demon in front of him. Most demons that he had encountered played things one of two ways. The women for some reason always tried to be seductive, because apparently they thought that would work. Over the years they had stopped trying with Dean as it was clear to anyone who had ever met him that he would absolutely never go down that road. Unfortunately for Sam his tryst with Ruby had gotten out in the underworld and he was constantly reminded of how he had slept knowingly with a demon before so why not do it again? Dean tended to get a tad pissed off anytime that he was reminded of Sam’s indiscretions and was usually harder on the demons.
However this demon seemed to almost hate Sam which was odd since most even when they were facing beings sent back to hell were either cocky or just plain ridiculous. Most would make snide comments saying that they would never get away with what they were doing and yada yada yada…however this tiny demon in front of him was really hateful, almost as if she was…scared? Scared might be the wrong word, but she looked as if she wanted to be anywhere but facing him and it didn’t seem to him like it was for the normal reasons that most did. She didn’t look as if she was scared of going to hell, almost as if she was scared of hell coming to get her.
He also was surprised at how incredibly young she looked now that he had her under some sort of light and that he was actually taking in the look on her face rather than trying to make sure she didn’t hit him with anything until he got her inside the devil’s trap and tied up. This girl had to be no older than fifteen, and that was being generous, and by the black eyes that she had yet to let turn back into their natural color, she was a demon just like Ruby. Sam remembered Ruby warning him after Dean had been taken to the pit by hellhounds, that Dean had known that all demons that they had fought up here had been human at one point. He remembered learning a history lesson from her that day, hearing about how she had sold her soul when the plague was big.
Most demons that ended up in hell had sold their souls to a Crossroads demon, but others were simply there, offered up on a platter. He remembered Bela telling him and Dean her story and he stared at the young girl in front of him disgust written all over her face. This girl was what? Five? When she made a deal with the devil, and he did mean that completely literally. What the hell could have happened to this girl to make her make the decision that she did when she was so young? A pang of sympathy hit him but he brushed it off, knowing how well that had worked out for him the last time. “I’m sick? You’re the kid who sold yourself to a demon and went to hell.” He stated with a sneer, knowing he quite sounded like his older brother and ignoring it.
Something was sitting right with him. He watched as she blinked her eyes rapidly but never did allow her eyes to switch back from the black that all demons had and the human color that they would have been. He had not seen many demons do this, usually wanting to blend in, only showing their black eyes when they wanted to make their point about who they were. That was when he noticed the so called burns. They looked almost too perfect. He wasn’t one to check out the chest of a demon, especially not one who was so young, however he had to look now only in order to further his point. Again, something wasn’t right. It was tugging at the back of his mind however he wasn’t sure what he believed yet so instead he continued to play along, making her think he believed her…which he still wasn’t sure if he did or not.
He stood still, his arms crossed over his massive chest as he listened to her try and order him around. Did she not see that she was tied up and he was about twice her height and probably three times her weight? He couldn’t help but find it a bit amusing though he had learned over the years that not all strong things came in big packages. Lilith in a child’s body was a prime example of that, as was Jesse Turner, the half demon half human child that Castiel had wanted to kill.
He listened to her again shouting about his brother and everything else under the sun however what struck him was that she called herself a little girl and asking him if he thought she was a demon. That’s when he saw it. He saw a sliver of white peeking out from behind the black in her eyes…the black CONTACT in her eye. Oh Fuck him. He would NEVER live this down. “Convincing makeup…especially when you are taking out vampires all by yourself.” He told her before closing his eyes. “I would say God Forgive Me…but after the years I doubt even that would help at the moment.” He muttered to himself before looking at her. “I’ll untie you when I figure out exactly who and what you are…however I will offer you a contact case if you want to take them out.” He stated, alerting her that he had figured out her game and he just wanted to know who and why.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] Well he'd hit the nail on the head. Annie was down right petrified. Sam had found her and had her all tied up. There was nothing she could do to get out. At least not until she was somehow unable to loosen the rope enough to move a bit. Once she got a little more movement she could pull a knife from her sleeve. But until then she'd just struggle and hope for the best. Still. She knew this had to be the end. Sam was here, which meant Dean was very close behind, and following behind Dean was the one thing she's been avoiding. The angels. They were going to kill her, that much was very clear. She just hoped she would have had a couple more years of hunting. Shoot she'd never had her first boy friend. Not that any boy was smart enough to have her. But still, what would the other hunter's say when she went to wherever it was hunter went off to.
"GOD!" Annie said in a laugh. Well he must be dense. Could he not see the signs?! She let her head hang, blinking the best she could until one of her contacts fell to her lap, from there it fell off to the floor. Great. Those were not super cheap. Now she'd have to buy a new one. She wanted that other one out. but it seemed to want to stick around for a while. Stupid freaking things. But honestly. What 5 year old could sell her soul. No really, what 5 year old even knew how to do it, or where. It was just not possible. Anyway she would have been 4 years old, and at 4 you can't really make intelligible decisions. No demon would take a soul from a child so young. There was just no point to it. Yeah sure you'd get a soul, but did it really honestly count? You'd surly be the laughing stock of hell.
But nope. That one contact was stuck in her eye. She'd need her hands to get this one out. But at least one eye was free from behind her contact. Annie just shook her head as she looked up at him, one eye her pretty blue color, a little red from the crazy contact. The other just as black as any demons eye should be. Kind of creepy really. but it was the best she could do with her one arm. "I'm surprised it took you so long to figure out I'M HUMAN!" She added, trying to throw herself out of the chair at that moment, but she hardly went far. She just sunk back down in the chair, her arms still twisting and turning to free its self enough to get her knife from her sleeve.
"It's a little late for that now." Annie said, relaxing a bit more in the chair. Apparently she was going to be here a while because Annie was not really one to talk. "Anyway you kind of need hands to take out a contact stuck to your eye, and if you think your putting your grimy big ass hands near my face, I swear I'll bite them off." She said spitting some more blood from her mouth. Stupid contact. At least she still had the one. Not like it would do much good. She'd have to buy another pair, but hey... backup? Whatever. Still he was costing her money. Not that she'd get a chance to buy another pair, as soon as Dean got here, all bets were off and she'd be dead. If only she could get out of her before then.
"I don't see why you still have me tied up. I can see it there in your eyes, you're sure you can take me." Annie said hoping to get him mad enough to untie her. Though she knew that was a long shot. He'd never just untie her. Honestly if the roles were reversed, Annie would have realized he was human after hitting him on the head and getting a good look at the burns. She'd untie him and leave him there in that chair. He'd wake up and walk away. Annie might take a few things of his. But where was the harm in stealing knife or two. Annie loved knifes. If Sam found her backpack and opened it. He might just get a glimpse into her life. Two changes of clothing, a crap ton of knives, a little mini ipad, salt, holy water, all kinds of tools. She did not have makeup, or school supplies, this was Sam and Dean's little hidden trunk, in a backpack. Not super safe, but she can't drive, legally, and it's all she had. That was a hunters backpack. It looked old enough anyway, it was a cloth backpack that would have been cute in it's day, now it was duck-taped together, held together with string, and really on it's last leg. But she could not give it up. It had been her mothers at one point.
((You can have Dean jump in at anytime now Lighten your load a little >.< Also I have a feeling Annie might cry when she see's Dean. Cuz Dean=Cas which =death for Annie... at least in her mind. Oh and in my next post, I might let one of her hands free, and if you get close enough she'd tots gonna hit you square in the nose! >.< ))

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - He groaned, again, feeling as if he wanted to kick his own ass at the moment. How did he not notice that this girl was human? Okay so granted she had kicked some serious vampire ass but really was she the only human who had done so? Hell no. Sarah was small but not nearly as small as this girl…however Buffy was a tiny girl. She was short, shorter than Sarah by a few inches, and just seemed smaller and he had seen her kick more than a few demon’s asses over the past few months…but this girl in front of him was different. Clearly she was a young girl and not only that but she was so small it just didn’t make any sense.
He couldn’t help it but he had to let out a small laugh when she told him legitimately that she’d bite his hands off if he stuck them anywhere near her face. “Don’t worry, you’re so small anyway that I have a feeling my fingers wouldn’t do much good. Plus I never was good at removing contacts…tried a few times in college and it didn’t work out so well. Just ended up getting laser eye surgery and avoided the hassle altogether.” He stated randomly but also feeling as if they talked about something with a little less violence then maybe she would calm down so that he could untie her. He wasn’t sure why but something told him not to let this girl go or else she’d be out the door and while clearly she could take care of herself she was still young which brought out a certain amount of protectiveness over her in Sam’s eyes…not that he would let anyone know that of course. He highly doubted she’d be appreciative of him being protective over her because of her age and size.
Just a guess.
He rolled his eyes at the girl trying to bait him. “Nice try.” He stated with a frown. “The reason I still have you tied up is because I’m still not sure what to do with you yet. Clearly you can take care of yourself which is a good thing but I still want to know a few things. First of all why are you fighting vampires when you should be worried about school and high school dances and such.” He asked though at the end it came out more as a statement rather than an actual question. “Second of all, why do you seem almost terrified of me being here?” He asked, seeing through the false sense of security for only a brief second and seeing the fear in her eyes. “And third, how did you know my name? You screamed out Sam when I was behind you when you first woke up…so how did you know who I was?” He asked, this time he was more firm, wanting to know why she knew of him. Not that most hunters didn’t know of the Winchester brothers however most didn’t know what they looked like. Once they introduced themselves that was when people got the recognition, but this girl knew who he was on sight and he was sure he had never seen her so that peeked his interest more than anything.
He had tied her up well and had a feeling that it wasn’t going to be the best idea to leave her tied up as much as he had. He knew he couldn’t let her go as clearly she was doing something out here and he wanted to know what, but was there any harm of loosening the ropes? Yes, there was. Again, clearly this girl could take care of herself which meant it would take her about 3.2 seconds to get out of the ropes once he loosened them. “If I let you out of the ropes are you going to run or can we have this conversation without you tied up like the adults that you are so desperately trying to pretend that you are?” HE asked, knowing that he would most likely piss her off but at least if she was pissed off she would say something she didn’t mean too. Interrogation tactic 101.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] She offered him a pretty hateful look when he laughed at her. Well she assumed it was at her, though logically she was pretty sure he was laughing at the situation. But she'd stick with the less logical option just to make her feel better about what she was about ready to do. "Thanks for your life story. Now untie me already!" Annie snapped. She really hated being in such situations. Normally she was able to ninja her way out of places before it got to this point. She had to hand it to him, he was one second ahead of her, and it nearly cost her her life. At least he kept her alive long enough to figure out her being human and all. Still. She's never really been in this situation, at least not unintellectual. She almost always had a plan if she allowed herself to get tied up. This was not only unexpected but dang he hit her HARD, her head was still spinning.
"Ugh. There is nothing 'to do with me'. " Annie answered, rolling her eyes, and looking off to the side, very teenagerish. If she had use of her hands she'd air quote part of her sentince. But again her hands were tied behind her back. Something she was working on, with her knife, sawing away at the rope. She'd get it, but at the current angle, and keeping so quite it might take a while. If she could cross her arms over her chest she would have. But she settled for clicking her tongue at him. "Why are YOU concerned with killing vampires when you could be enjoying a job and a family. A wife and kids even!?" She asked turning it around on him. If he answered the question, she might too. But she was not about to tell Sam anything with out a little info in return. If she gets a little she might give a little. But she'd never give without getting something first. Annie knew how the world worked. It was all take and no give.
"Ever herd of stranger Danger!? Shoot." Annie added more of a sarcastic remark more then anything. "Clearly I'm helpless in this situation." She pointed out, being a bit meaner then she might have intended. But whatever, she was tied up, her voice was her only weapon for now. Anyway. She was frighten of him not because she was in this situation but for the friends he keeps. That's not something he needed to know. At least not yet... not now... not really ever. His last comment almost made her giggle, but she covered it with more of a snort. "Who doesn't know the Winchesters?!" Annie asked, withholding a smile. "Do you really live in that small of a bubble?! Anyone who's anyone knows who you are. I always thought you were the smart one. You really can't make me believe your that dense." She added, throwing in a smart ass comment. Being tied up was no fun, even when the rope that bonded her was beginning to break, her wrist free to move more.
Ohhhhhhhh. And that was a low blow. That got her pretty mad. So much for playing nice and answering questions. Dang. He just lost his chance. At least until he made it up. Now he'd done it. He wanted answers and he was going to get a heck of a lot less now. Calling her a child. Fuck that. She had seen more in her first year of life then most hunters had in a year. Stupid people. She just narrowed her eyes at him. Well. He just lost the privileged of listening to her pretty voice. Now she'd just stare at him. All the while the rope around her hands got to the point were all she needed to do was pull and they would fall apart. She made sure ti slip the knife back into her sleeve for safe keeping. But at least now she had her hands free. But she'd keep them still behind her back the rope intact, until she needed it. Of course she'd never be able to run, her feet were tired too. But if she could swing hard enough and hit him just right, she might be able to knock him out long enough for her to make her escape. Of course tiring him up nice and tight in the process. It really was a shame he did not search her before pinning her to this chair. That was his first and it would be his last mistake.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - He rolled his eyes. He actually found this girl interesting however he didn’t really enjoy her smart mouth. Clearly this kid needed to be taught some manners. “Again, if you stop acting like a child, screaming and ranting and ordering people around, then maybe they would start treating you like an adult. Just a suggestion.” He stated simply, not taking orders from a kid, no matter who they were. He was usually one who treated everyone with respect but if he wasn’t given respect he sure as well wasn’t going to give it. Respect was earned and while the girl’s fighting style and way she could clearly take care of herself earned her a little bit, her mouth was quickly taking it all away.
“Clearly there is something to do with you since you are a young teenager…” He stated, making sure to not say kid, instead saying young teenager which by her stature and face he assumed she was at the most fifteen. “And you’re out here fighting alone…that clearly means something is up. No offense but I know a lot of families teach their children to hunt, I don’t know many who let their younger teens go out alone for a hunt. Want to explain that to me?” He asked and held up a hand before she could interject with some other smart mouth comment. “Yes I know you don’t want to explain it to me but I’m not going to let you go until you give me some answers and trust me, I can guarantee I can sit here a lot longer than you and be okay with it. Remember, I’m not the one tied up.” He stated, feeling bad that he was being an ass but seeing no other way as she kept being a brat.
He quirked an eyebrow but answered her question anyway, figuring he’d be honest and maybe she would. “My mother died when I was six months old, my dad spent my entire life tracking the demon that killed her. I got fed up at 18, went to college, and came home from a weekend with my brother to find my girlfriend being murdered the same way my mother was. Went back on the hunt to help my brother and my father find the demon that killed my mother and my girlfriend. Took two years to do so since the demon was powerful and had a lot of followers, and after that I just never stopped. As for having children and a wife…I wouldn’t drag them into this life. I don’t believe its right and I wouldn’t do it.” He stated, not mentioning Sarah and the fact that he’d marry her one day. She was already in the life so to speak so it wasn’t like he’d be dragging her into it. Plus the fact that she didn’t allow him to drag her anywhere, in fact she’d probably force his ass out of the house to go hunt every time he annoyed her with something or another. No, she’d probably force him out and then tell him that she was coming with him. That was the type of person that Sarah was.
He rolled his eyes at her comment about stranger danger. “Ever heard of blood sucking vampires, demons who will kill before blinking? I think I’m a little less dangerous than those two at the moment. Just a theory though. And if you are so worried about strangers again, why the hell are you in a cave in the middle of the night?” He asked with a quirk of his eyebrow, his arms having once again been folded over his chest.
“I know that most people know about the Winchester’s…I just didn’t know that you had a picture of us taped somewhere and knew what we looked like. It’s not like I announced my name and it’s not like my brother’s with me to give a clue. Most people only realize who we are after we introduce ourselves… so again, I ask, how did you know who I was?” He asked, really wanting this information. This girl seemed to really hate him and his brother, and while him he could understand since he did currently have her tied up in a chair…hating Dean was another matter altogether.
He saw the movement behind her but he didn’t comment on it. He knew that if she was any type of hunter, which after watching her for a few moments he knew that she was, that she would have something up her sleeve so to speak. He waited to see if she could get free. He knew damn well he could take her, after all he probably was three times her size… however he waited to see what she could do. “Look, I don’t want to keep ragging on you. I just want answers. I’ll let you go once you tell me what exactly it is that has made you so angry, especially towards two people you don’t know.” He stated, going for the compassionate way which is what he normally did until you piss him off.

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] "I don't need your advice. I've gotten this far on my own, so I think I know what I'm doing." She added. She never asked for his input. She did not need it. She had found the more she pushed people away the better it was for her and her emotions. The less she let people in the better. She was not always like this. Believe it or not, when her parents were around she was really a nice girl. She spoke to adults with respect, and she was pretty quite. She was always a curious child, but she never got into so much trouble. She always had her parents to fall back on, to help her. So she had no reason to be so guarded. But now.... with no one. Not a single person on her side, add on the stress of being a teenager, and living on your own in a world that judges. Well. If she wanted to survive this world she had to get a very hard shell, and fast. It was that or let the world eat you alive. She was sure she'd be in some kind of foster home if she had not developed his attitude.
"What does it matter?!" Annie said with a loud growl. Really. WHO GAVE A CRAP?! She was here, she killed some vampires. That was that. He should thank her and let her be on her way. Done deal. What was with this let me keep you all tied up, and question you. No fuck that. Nothing mattered. She did her job enough. Let her go be done. What was with EVERYONE asking her a billion questions. Why can't she just be left alone. So the fuck what she was a kid. She was a great hunter, and she was clearly doing just fine on her own. Honestly. As much as she wanted to grow up and be an adult. She was kind of hoping to stay this age forever, just so she does not become so stupid and nagging, and asking kids so many questions. When she was an adult, she'd keep to her own business. If she saw a kid out alone, fine. She'd leave it be, if they asked her to.
Oh... well here was a twist she was not expecting, and it surly earned him some brownie points. Someone for once was telling her their side of the story, rather then pushing for hers. That was surly an interesting twist of events. At the very least it would earn him some respect, and she's make a point to not be so rude. He told her a good bit of his life, and what a tragic life it seemed to be. So she'd give him a little something to work off of. Though she was not sure what info might tip him off. But whatever. She'd have to at least talk about her parents. "Well. Looks like we have some things in common. I never been to school, I was home schooled. Though what my parents taught me was not what you'd learn in a public institution, if you know what I mean. But It's kind of too late for my to enroll. My parents died a little over 2 years ago, I was 12. They died on my birthday, or so I believe. No one really knows." Annie added with a bit of a shrug. "So now I'm out here on my own. I have no other family.... and no other hunter was willing to take me in. So I just kind of hunt on my own... and I don't have a legal guardian, so enrolling myself in school with no adult and no address, is near impossible. Anyway. I have better things to do." She added with another half shrug. What was she supposed to do? Turn herself into a group home? Yeah right. So she was alone, and that was that. She had tried, but it was just not the same. The other hunters... they just did not get her, they did not let her practice. They did not let her be her. It just never worked out. This was much better. Or it was in her mind.
"Vampires I can CLEARLY handle. Demons, no problem." Annie said glancing off to the side the best she could, but with that bright light in her face, there was not much she could see in the dark, her eyes unable to adjust. "Strangers.... not so much. Throw me in a cage with evil creatures, and I'm good. Put me in a cage with a Human.... Things kind of get lost in translation. If you catch my drift." In other words, she was not good with people.... clearly. She was a great hunter, an amazing killer. But a person? not so much. It was almost as if she had lost a soul. Only hers was still there, she just locked it behind some pretty heavy doors, to keep it safe from the harm the world could do. It was her way of keeping herself safe. Her feelings, her core self would always be safe. The rest was nothing really. She'd throw it away if she could. All she really cared about was killing as much as she could, to save other little girls parents from death. Then once they were all dead, maybe she could live again, like she had when her parents were alive. Maybe she could sleep under the protection of someone. Maybe she could for once, not worry whats under the bed or in her closet.
"And again I told you. Everyone knows who you are. Between you and your brother, you guys have been arrested a million times. They have your mug shots on file. I've come across you guys quite a few times in my search. Anyway. Everything on the internet now a days. " Annie added, a little less of a smart ass and more of a matter of fact. She would not say anything about her parents showing her photos and telling her to RUN THE OTHER WAY, if and when she saw them. But she'd just pull some shit out of her ass, and go from there. Anyway. If she really wanted to leave now she could. Her wrists were free, but she kept her arms behind her back. At least for now. If thing got to close for comfort, she'd trow a knife at him, and cut her feet lose, hoping he'd be stunned at the knife in his chest long enough for her to run away. But it has yet to get to that point. As much as she wanted to run away from him, she could not risk all that. Not yet.
"Look. I'm going to level with you. I'm just an angry person. you hit me over the head and knocked me out, after I killed I dunno a bunch of vampires. Then you tied me up, and treated me like a DEMON! You'd be a little peeved too. So don't try doing that. Whatever it is your doing. " She added, figuring the gig was up, so she allowed her hands to wave in the air in front of her, all crazy like. Then she just placed them behind her back, as if she were still tied up. She smiled softly. She was as good as free. She just had her feet to take care of. That would hardly be an issue. She had a few knifes on her person. She was a great shot, when it came to knife throwing. Guns not so much. But her trusty knifes. Sam was as good as dead. Well okay so not really. She'd never... well not unless he was out for blood. Still. She'd never try to kill him, hurt him enough that he could not run after her, like a knife in the leg. Though non of her knifes were long enough to do too much damage. But hey, she could only hide the small ones for now. ------------------[/b] [/center]

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - “Okay, so you don’t need my advice…however I’m going to offer it anyway so you might as well listen.” He stated, his eyes firm though there was the deep compassion in them as well that really set Sam apart from most hunters, especially ones that had been in the life for as long as he had. Most hunters by this point are cold, detached and really only care about one thing, and that’s the revenge that they are seeking. Not many hunters could kid themselves or wasted the effort in trying, most of those in the life were there because something had hurt someone they love.
It was the reason John Winchester forced his way into the life, dragging his two young children with him. It was the reason that Sam himself had been dragged back into this life, first looking for his father and then second when his girlfriend, someone he was planning on proposing to no less, had been killed by the same demon that his father had been hunting for twenty plus years. Jo had been dragged into the life when her father was killed, Ellen because Jo wouldn’t stay out of it. It was a vicious cycle of violence and hate that made hunters, and no one could say anything different.
“It matters because I don’t want to be called to a scene one day and see your body on a slab at the morgue…not if I can prevent it. You may not want my help and it doesn’t look like you really need it that much, but I’m going to give it because that’s type of person that I am. And before you start saying that I’m treating you like a kid, I’m not. I’m saying this just like I would say it to anyone who was working by themselves. My brother and I have told quite a few people to get out of the life…you’re not the first.” He continued.
He listened with astonishment at what this girl had gone through, even though she didn’t give him the details, he hadn’t given her the details either. “Jesus…” He muttered before closing his mouth and sighing. “I know what you mean about the whole public school thing. If my father had been smart he would have homeschooled by brother and I instead of having us start new schools every couple of months…however he was too busy and didn’t really have the knowledge to do it so I learned a lot of what I did from books in the library when waiting for my brother.” He stated, remembering how many hours he would spend in the library when he was a kid before Dean would draw his mouth away from whatever girl he was hooking up with and come pick him up. It had never bothered Sam though as he craved knowledge and it had ended up working out for him well when he was accepted to Stanford directly after graduating high school.
“What hunters did you contact or did someone else contact I guess? I’m surprised that no one would take you in. I know that Dean and I were never asked but then again Bobby would rather gouge his eye out than let Dean be in charge of anything other than a car.” He stated with a chuckle.
He wasn’t upset, he wasn’t even surprised, he just chuckled again. “I have to give you credit, you know how to get yourself out of a bind.” He stated, praising the skill that she clearly showed. He wondered if this was what Jo was like as a kid though really had no frame of reference since Jo and him had never been close, he really just knew her because of his brother but whatever, that was not the point. He quickly walked over to his bag that was sitting against the wall and pulled out two bottles of water, both unopened and walked over, handing it to her. “Here. And no it’s not holy water…though I did bring a cross to bless it had I needed it.” He told her with a wink before removing himself out of her personal space and standing to the side of her so that they could still talk but she could clearly see the doorway. He wasn’t going to keep her captive any longer as he already felt like a giant asshole for doing so in the first place…however he hoped she decided to stay as he really was worried about her…though he truly had no idea why.
“Okay, so level with me…something scares you about me…and maybe my brother too but then again if you knew what he looked like in the morning…you’d be even more scared.” He stated with another chuckle before sobering up. “So tell me, please. I promise you I’m not going to keep you here, and I’m not going to turn you in, I just want to know. Maybe I can help. Or maybe I’ll make it worse…but I’m never gonna stop asking so you might as well tell me. I can be pretty annoying when I want to be…must be the youngest sibling thing in me.”

------------------ [/b] ------------------[/b] "It's not that simple." Annie said back shaking her head, she knew the speech well. How many time's had she herd it? It might be easy for an adult to just get out of the life, get a job and move on. But what about her? She'd get a fake family that wanted a check from the government, there would be awkward questions. She'd be forced to lie to anyone and everyone about everything. She just did not think she could do it. How many therapist would she have to see? Hoe much medication would she be put on? How many knives would get stolen from homes near by? Just so Annie could feel some what safe? It would be hopeless for her. She had dreamed about it many times over. Just being a family again, with anyone. But knowing what she did? She could never feel safe, ever.
"You can't just leave this life Sam. You of all people should know that. Once your in it. Your in it for life." Annie added, sounding much older then she was. "The things out there, they know me. They know my face, my smell, my life. If I were to just stop, I'd be bringing all kinds of things on whatever foster family took me in. Assuming I could be kept in one place for more then a week or two." Annie added. "What am I do to anyway? Walk into a police station say my parents died in a car crash 2 years ago. I want a family? You know as well as I do, there will be questions I cannot answer." She ended. It just was not that simple. She could not leave this life. Not yet. Not now. Maybe when she was 18, but by then things would surly start hunting her. But still. This was the life she had picked for herself. After her parents died, it was set in stone.
Annie just shrugged at his story. As sad as it might have been. It was the life he was born into, and the life he seemed to have picked. He could have kept doing his thing, ignoring his brothers cry for help. But he came back. Annie could have gone right to the police the night her parents disappeared. She could have gotten out before she really started. But she was in it, and she was in it for life. Just like Sam. They can pretend all they wanted. But this was where they belonged. Anyway, if he gave that advice to everyone, why did he just not take it? Sam and Dean can't do all this on their own. They can't save the world, they need other hunters. And even then if he wanted everyone out of the life, what was he doing in it? Surly not some save the hunter mission.
At the mention of Bobby she smiled a big and just shrugged. She's never meet him, but he was a bit of a god in the Hunting world. Basically if you needed anything, anything at all, he'd point you in the right direction. But of course being so close to Sam and Dean, This was another person she had to keep far from. "I've been around. And like you, they all tried to make me live a normal life. But there is no normal, there never will be normal." Annie said. "It might be nice for a week or two, but at some point something is going to come through my window, and I'm going to fight it. Anyway I'd never be able to fit in. The things we have seen can never be unseen. That kind of stuff changes a person." Annie added with a half shrug. She was not about to go naming names of every Hunter that had tried to help her, that had taken her in, that she ran from. They never understood her. Though she was starting to think Sam might. Which was weird, and frightening on so many levels.
Annie just smiled, chuckling a little, but staying in her position. What could she say? She'd been doing this a while. Anyway, what kind of Hunter could not get out of such a thing? Only when he handed her a water bottle, did she move to take it. But she did not open it. Rather she held it between her legs, as a knife slipped from between her fingers, It was small, almost like a sharp finger nail, and she cut away the rest of the rope that bonded her, freeing her from the chair, it only took her a second or two per rope. But she still did not get up. Rather the small knife disappeared once again, the water bottle being held in her hand, and her legs were finally able to cross, which was much more comfortable for her.
"A lot of things frighten me Sam." Annie said with a sigh. There was no way she could tell him. None. What he knew, the Angel would know. She could not allow that to happen. The Angels already knew she was here, close to him. They could see what he saw right? They had that power? But any which way. It did not matter. She could not say a word. It was too risky. "And maybe I'll tell you in the future. But now is not the time for me to spill my guts to you." She said, only she meant it more literally. As in the more time she was with him, the more likely she was to end up dead at his feet. Again, or so she thought. But for some reason, she did not really want to just up and leave. She was lonely as it was, and with Sam, it was not so bad?
Could she even really be thinking that? How? It's not like he had done anything for her, but give her a nice bit bump on her head, and rope burn. But still, there was some kind of connection going there. Maybe it was the respect he'd given her for whatever reason. He seemed to accept her. Sure he wanted her out of the whole hunting thing, but he did not seem to want to change her. Which was refreshing really. How bad could he really be? He was the bad brother after all? right? Dean was in with the Angels, Same was just his brother. But Sam was so close with his brother, you really can't get one without the other. Which brought up a really great point.
As if someone jumped out from behind her and yelled Boo, Annie jumped from her seat, the water bottle on the floor, two long knifes being held at the ready in her hand. But she did not direct any of this at Sam, Rather she seemed to be searching the cave, the dark dark cave. That bright shinning light blinding her eyes from seeing anything in the dark. "Where is that brother of yours?" She asked her knifes twirling around her hands. She was trying to play it off as being bored, and thought she often did play with her knives when she was bored. She clearly got spooked by something.
And she swore she herd someone walking. She knew she herd footsteps, and she knew it had to be Dean. Who was Sam without his brother?! He was close, and that meant she was closer to the angels. So with that, and one last look to Sam. She knew this was a fight she did not want. She knew this was not a fight she could ever win. So with that she just up and ran. What more could she do. It was stand and fight, a fight she was not ready for, or she could just run. Run away and never look back. Run so far that they could never find her again. And that's what she had to do. Run. Fighting was not an option, so she just ran, leaving nothing behind.
