"Well I never believed in shelters kind of like religion," okay that made no sense but whatever. The shelters were actually jerks sometimes, Annie was this young girl looking for help and they kick her out and take her things? Yeah, not nice in Cordelia's books. It was a good thing Annie didn't know anything about the supernatural as it was a scary world out there and Annie didn't need that scary world coming into her world. Obviously Cordelia didn't know the girl so she didn't care for her but she cared about how she lived at least, if that made sense. Annie deserved a happy life and she would get out of being poor as she was a smart girl. Everyone deserved the chance to a good education Cordelia had a good chance but she decided to go to L.A. and she didn't regret at all, she was actually fine with it.
Cordelia was happy to know about the supernatural which was probably odd to think but she did, she had a purpose in her life. She had left that world after she left Sunnydale and when she did she had no idea what to do. She was a struggling actress trying to get auditions and she had the crappiest apartment ever then Angel came into his life, the guy who would become her best friend. She was invited to this world again and she loved helping people and having the visions it gave her a purpose, being a part of Angel Investigation really changed the woman's life for the better. God, who knew someone could change so much in a city, she wondered if everyone liked the new her probably considering she was way less bitchy and a lot more fun than she was back in high school but Buffy and her still had a lot to discuss.
"Clearly you have watched way too many horror movies," she told the girl. Or maybe she was actually talking about real deaths...she wasn't going to ask if Annie knew about the supernatural or how she saw those deaths. Annie was an innocent girl and hopefully it was just horror movies. "And it is something I know, I've seen a lot of people die...my friends so don't you start by saying I haven't," Annie didn't know Cordelia all she knew was that Cordelia liked to shop and was a little bit too peppy. She shouldn't even be making assumptions but Cordelia would be a hypocrite considering she was making assumptions about Annie but hey, she couldn't help it the girl was just so cranky. She wanted to get to know her story but it seemed like she would bet to stubborn so Cordelia wasn't even going to try.
"You go girl! Strive for your goals!" She couldn't believe that Annie would go to the same school but at least the girl didn't have to start over, she deserved to have some solid friends. Cordelia didn't really have solid friends until she went to L.A. and she was hoping she would become close to Buffy, Willow, and Xander but she wasn't sure if they wanted that since the girl could definitely be a handful. "Fine, you can go since I'm leaving too," she said grabbing her frappuccino and exiting her seat. She was a bit irritated with Annie and definitely needed that spa after a talk with her. "See ya," she said as she walked out of the store. God, never talking to a mature teenager again that was just too much for one morning. She was just happy to finally have her relaxing day as she deserved it she just wished she had gone shopping with Annie to help the girl out.
