He chuckled at the thought of Dean helping him find a car that screamed him. He really wasn’t sure what type of car he wanted. He knew he wanted something large yet not an SUV or anything of the sort. He couldn’t see himself driving one (though he had thought about buying a truck back in college) and also the gas mileage on all large trucks, SUVs, etc was awful. With the way that he and Dean drove around all the time (even if it wouldn’t be as much now) he wanted something that wasn’t a huge gas hog yet still something manly. He refused to get a little car that a woman should be driving, so it would definitely be a challenge.

Sam had looked at a couple of different cars online in the past few weeks. He had looked at the Dodge Challenger which he actually surprisingly liked. It was a new car but it looked older and looked to be build solid. He had a feeling that Dean would like it since again, it had the older look. He had also looked at the Dodge Charger which he liked but he wasn’t sure if it was build well enough to withstand the damage that often came about in the job that he did. He had also looked at a Chevy Camaro but he had a feeling it would be too small. Most likely he would end up getting a Challenger but he would have to wait and see what he thought after test driving them.

He grinned at the compliment from his brother before feeling the need to ask a specific question, one that he was sure Dean was expecting either way. “You got pissed at me man for putting an iPod jack in your car…I believe you said I douched it up.” He stated with a grin, throwing a wink at Sarah since he was almost positive that being a higher end girl than most she would appreciate the iPod jack as well as a few other electronic devices. Then again they hadn’t really ever talked about it so he could be wrong…he was just taking a wild guess.

He felt a little guilty about possibly starting a fight between Lisa and Dean but he did feel like Dean should stand up for himself. He knew his brother better than he knew himself sometimes and he knew that while he was thrilled that Ben was his son, he should have been informed a long time ago. Sam would be the first to admit that Dean wasn’t the most reliable back eleven or twelve years ago, especially not when he had been hunting with John Winchester. Hunting came first in John Winchester’s mind and always had since his wife had died when Sam was just six months old so Sam knew better than anyone that Dean would not have had the option of staying around to care for his son, he would have been dragged away to god knows where without a moment’s notice.

However there was no excuse when Dean asked Lisa twice about Ben…more than likely he had asked more than twice but Sam knew of twice. Granted had Lisa known WHY he was there (the whole Dean going to hell thing) then that would be understandable however Lisa had no idea back then and he doubted she knew any of it now.

He shook his head when Dean started talking about being more pissed that he lied, which he really didn’t. He didn’t lie, unless it was a lie of omission since he didn’t tell him about it, it’s not like he had specifically been asked about it and he had said no, it was just he hadn’t told Dean or Sarah. “I was going to tell you about it, I just wanted to wait until I actually started school if that makes any sense.” He told him before continuing. “And no, I don’t plan on giving up hunting Dean. I know too much about what goes on and I’ve been doing it for too long. Plus Sarah here can’t give it up either so it’s apparently going to be an all you can sport…but that doesn’t mean I’ll jump in the car and drive ten states away on the drop of the hat while I’m in class. I need this degree Dean.” He stated, doubting that his older brother knew how he felt but feeling the need to tell him anyway.

He was more than relieved when Sarah stated that it was a big commitment…because it was…and that’s what he wanted with her. He loved her, he knew that now and more than anything he wanted to tell her… so that’s exactly what he did. He knew it wasn’t the most romantic of settings since you know, his brother was there in their hotel room at all, but he couldn’t keep it to himself any longer. Taking her by the hand he wrapped his arms around her, his eyes boring into hers. “I want a commitment with you…that’s all I’ve wanted for a long time.” He told her, knowing he was being mushy and all un-guy like but not really giving two hells at the moment. All that he was concerned about was letting his girl know how he felt about her. “I want a life with you because I love you beautiful.” He told her, and waited with bated breath for the reply.

Dean laughed when Sam told him about the I pod insodent, he totally had forgot that he said that. He wasn't trying to be mean its just that he wasn't use to an Ipod. Dean has always been a cassette tape kind of guy, that's just what he grew up with and that was just what he was use to. Plus all the tapes had sentimental value Dean couldn't help it, they meant more to him then they would anyone else. The tapes use to be there dads, music that he would listen to when he would drive the Impala on one of his many hunting trips. Hits from Ac Dc, Rush, REO, Journey, and Dean's all time favorite Led Zeppelin. "Sorry man I guess I lost it with the Ipod It wont happen again, you can use it in my car I don't care." He told him. "Just try not to listen to that slow gay soft Rock, baby don't like hearing that that kind of music. You have to play something to get her going." Dean was always calling his car his baby, because really that car has been with Dean through thick and thin. They pretty much had grown up in that thing, it sadly was the only home Sam and Dean ever knew. Which could be why he was ready for a change in pace, poor Sam had lived his whole life in there. But sadly for the oldest Winchester he was still fine with it, nothing would ever make him want a new car.

It did made Dean happy to hear that Lisa did feel bad about keeping it from him. Which means that she knew she should have told him. But at the same time he didn't want Lisa to be beating herself up, that wasn't what Dean hoped for ether. After all she had dealt with a enough in her life, along with being a single mom on top of that. Plus Dean loved her way to much to stay mad at her, but one thing was for sure they would be having a talk about all this. "Don't worry Sarah I wont be hard on her, we just need to have a talk about everything." He though it was nice that Sarah and Lisa had each others back, after all she did need more friends in her life Dean was just happy that friend was Sarah.

He though it was cool that Sarah was actually watching this show with him, unlike Sam but then again he wasn't much for Tv at all. He was more reading type guy. "look you don't get it he is wearing the boots because he is cool, that's why he does it. But yeah there is just something about this show that gets me, even though I don't know what it is." He said to her with a smile. "I know that Sam don't care for it, I'm sure he thinks I'm gay for watching it." It said looking at his brother.

He guessed that he could understand why Sam felt he had to lie about it, from the sounds of it it seemed like Sarah didn't even know the whole story a about what was going on. Which wasn't like Sam at all, he knew now that he must have had his reasons not to. Dean was happy to hear that he wasn't going to give up hunting. That would be the only reason at all that he would have gotten mad, because he would be sacred of losing the only real family he had left. He was More then just his brother but a best friend. "Well I'm happy to hear that I wont be losing you man, and yeah I understand we wont be leaving town any time soon. After all I have to watch over Lisa I have a son here now which is something I still can't believe. It still sounds crazy coming out of my mouth, saying I'm a dad and all." Said Dean.

Dean then noticed Sam walking up to Sarah taking her tightly in his arms, he knew what was going down and Dean was cheering all the way for him. "Come on Sammy tell her how you feel, go for it man." He said to himself deep from inside his head. He heard as Sam told the girl he loves after all this time that he loves her, a smile grew to the hunters face happy for his little bro. He walked over to the min fridge getting out a bottle on Champagne that they had in there, he knew that after this they needed to celebrate. Plus he wanted to leave them give them the moment they dissever. But then again maybe Dean needed to leave all together? But he knew that if they needed to be alone Sam would tell him in some way.

Sarah gave a confused look when Sam had said that Dean thought putting an Ipod in the jack of a car douched the car up...she wondered how but she wasn't going to bother asking because with Dean's logic she had no idea what he would say. Probably something about how Ipod's were modern and jerks usually used them, she wasn't too sure. But she laughed along with him when Sam spoke. "Um Dean, what exactly do you have to play to get her going...?" She asked a bit curious to know what song choices he would say. She was guessing some hard rock or maybe 80's songs, she wasn't too sure. She didn't get why Dean had the same car when it was so old, it probably broke down a lot considering how old it was. She assumed he wouldn't get rid of the car even he was eighty, he would probably pass it down to Ben if anything.

She really enjoyed listening to the brothers talk, they just got along well and they were bonding. She wasn't sure why she was happy about it but she felt like she should be for some odd reason, people could call her weird for it but it was just how she felt about it. It could be the fact that she didn't have any siblings so it was nice seeing siblings act nice to one another or the fact that she loved her boyfriend and wanted him to be happy and she knew he was most happiest when his brother was in his life, so it was both then. She knew there would probably be fights down the line but at least as of now they were getting along and that was all that really mattered in this moment.

"Okay, good," she said with a smile. She didn't want Lisa to get into too much trouble as he girl did deserve a bit of a break. She did hide such a big secret but for good reason, Dean was involved in the supernatural meaning he could die at any moment and Ben being so young...that could of broken him one knowing that his father was Dean all along and no one told and if he found out that Dean went to hell well that would scare him, so maybe it was a good thing Lisa waited but for this long? No, she should have told him a lot earlier since she trusted him and Dean was finally around. It wasn't Sarah's life though and it was Lisa's decisions. She knew Dean and Lisa would be okay, it seemed like the two would bounce back perfectly, it was just one little bump in their relationship and they would pass it together.

Sarah couldn't help but roll her eyes at Dean. This doctor just made no sense to her, he had to wear boots to look cool? "But he's at a hospital...is he trying to be some bad boy by wearing them at his work?" This show was seriously flawed, but the doctor wasn't bad to look at. "And I'm sure Sam doesn't think that," she kind of giggled to herself at the fact of what Sam felt for the show. But it was Dean's guilty pleasure and that wasn't bad everyone usually had one. The show actually wasn't that bad surprisingly but it wasn't something she would watch every time it came on but it would be one of the shows she would start watching, she would just have to start watching it from the beginning which she wasn't sure when she would have the time to do that.

Sarah felt Sam take her hand and he had wrapped his arms around her, she cuddled into him feeling warm and safe like she always did. She heard his voice and instantly smiled at what he had said. "Me too Sam," she told him honestly. She knew he wasn't done speaking but she had to get that in there. She had wanted to be with him from the moment they had met and she hadn't stopped thinking about him because the girl was bordering to loving him and then seeing him again and reconnecting, she was in love and there was no snapping out of it. Love was literally the best feeling, she had never truly felt it until she had been with Sam and it was remarkable to know that he would always be by her side well she hoped he would. There was a chance of heart break but she felt as if nothing could go wrong between the two, they were in it for the long run and she felt great about that. Sarah could see herself marrying Sam.

She had heard his finals words that left his lips and the girl started to get watery eyes, she wasn't sure why she was becoming so emotional by these words but those words she had waited to hear for a while. She looked up at the tall man who was the love of her life and she knew that now, she looked into his eyes and said, "Sam...," she said in a slight whisper. "I love you too," she said with a smile and kissed him on the lips forgetting about Dean being in the room for a moment. She then broke it quickly before it got into anything more as his older brother was still there and hugged him. "I want a life with you too that's all I've wanted ever since we met again," she told him honestly. "Sam, you're the only guy for me," she told him almost crying but she held her tears. God, she needed to control herself but the girl honestly loved him so much. The girl was in love and she couldn't be any happier.

He rolled his eyes at Dean’s talk about his car and how he needed to play better music. Seriously, this was Dean he was talking about. The man still had cassette tapes…it would be another 5 years before he moved up to CDs and by then those would be redundant too. That was just his brother though, and to be honest as much as he irked Sam sometimes, the younger Winchester knew there wasn’t a thing he would change about his big brother.

He snickered at the conversation between Sarah and Dean. Seriously, they were really getting into this heated discussion about Doctor Sexy or whatever the hell it was. He remembered when Gabriel, back then having thought he was The Trickster, had stuck him and Dean in tv land and Sam had been horrified at the things that his older brother had watched. Really, the man needed a lesson on good music and good television, but that was another conversation for another time.

Hearing that Sarah loved him was the best feeling in the world at the moment he felt as if he could fly. He knew that it sounded corny and probably really was corny but he didn’t care. He quickly took the woman that he loved into his arm and pressed a brief but loving kiss against her soft lips. He felt her respond and grinned against her lips, not wanting to let her go but at the same time not wanting to give his brother a free show, especially since he knew his older brother well enough to where he would sit there and watch with a stupid grin on his face.

“Alight, I don’t know about Ms. Sarah here but I want to spend some time with my girl by myself. Dean I’ll be back later.” He told him and clapped him on the shoulder before bowing in a mock gentlemanly way. “My lady.” He stated with a laugh before leading Sarah out the door, not giving her anytime to object, instead just leading the way as he wanted nothing more than to be with his love for a little while alone. They hadn’t made it to that step yet and he wasn’t sure they were ready, but he did know that no matter what he wanted to spend as much time with her as possible.

No matter what, he’d never let them be apart if he had any say in it.
