- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - He stepped out of the shower, noting with a shake of his head that the mirror was completely unusable due to the fog from the hot water. He slipped the towel around his waist before padding over the said mirror, cleaning it off with his arm. It didn’t take him long to get ready which was a blessing since he was running late thanks to an impromptu decision earlier in the day. He wasn’t sure what Dean would say about his thoughts which was the reason that he hadn’t told him yet. He knew from talking with his brother earlier that he planned on staying in Richmond for awhile, which led to Sam’s decision to check out the local school to see how their law school program was.
He knew that Dean would most likely flip a gasket but he figured he’d deal with it when he could. Sam had a semester to complete (since he bailed out on his last semester) before he would have his Bachelor’s Degree which could easily lead to Law School, especially with his LSAT scores. He briefly remembered Jessica’s pride when he told her but shook his head, not wanting to think about another woman (no matter who it was) when he was getting ready for a date with his girlfriend.
The world girlfriend brought back fond memories of when he walked Sarah home last weekend. He remembered how she had tried to tell him that he didn’t have to but he had straight out told her that she either let him or he’d turn into a stalker and follow her home either way, which would be bad for the ego. He remembered walking her home and at the end of the evening asking if she would go out with him this weekend. He had wanted to ask her out for the following night but he had already promised to work a case with Bobby so he was leaving the next day, only having gotten back yesterday morning.
After brushing his teeth he quickly slapped on some after shave before removing the towel and sliding his boxers on, moving the towel through his hair to get it dry. He muttered a curse under his breath as he ran a brush through it, knowing that most men were able to just go but because of his fairly long hair he actually had to take care of his. He briefly thought about cutting his hair put but it off just as he had all the other times, knowing he’d make a decision about it eventually.
He moved into the open room, glad that Dean wasn’t there since he was in a hurry. He quickly pulled on a pair of black trousers and a grey button up shirt to go with it. The skinny tie that he put on with a groan was black to match the pants as well as the jacket. He slid his watch on his wrist before putting his phone and his wallet into his back pocket. It didn't take him long to grab the keys to the rental car (knowing he really needed to go get his own car) and then he was out the door. The drive to pick up Sarah only lasted ten minutes (since five of those were picking up flowers for her that he already had called ahead and ordered) and before he knew it he was knocking on her door, the flowers behind his back as he waited for her to answer the door.

------------------ ------------------ Sarah had been asked out on a date by Sam and she was actually really excited for it considering this would be their second date since it had been a couple years so maybe it could be called a first date? It didn't matter right now because she was feeling really nervous for it even though things had went so well last weekend with him sharing his story and them kissing so she shouldn't be nervous but she couldn't help it, and it didn't help that she couldn't find anything to wear. Sarah was never those kinds of girls who always had trouble finding something to wear but with Sam it was so different and she really wanted to look good for him and she hoped that she would.
The slayer took a shower to get any sweat or dirt off of her, she had look perfect or at least a little bit perfect...if there was a chance for that. She made sure to shave as she was in the shower just in case. After she was done she put a towel over her body and hair so they could try and as she was drying she went to her bedroom mirror and sat down to put her makeup on. She wasn't going to try and go hardcore with it but she was adding a little eyeliner at least and some blush. She then looked for a dress which seemed like it would take forever but she had finally found one where it looked decent enough to wear, god she was stressing out.
She laid the dress on her bed and removed the towel off her hair since it was mostly dried now. Sarah wasn't entirely sure what exactly she wanted to do with her hair at the moment, she could either leave it down or but it up or she could make it curly. Her first date with Sam her hair was up and had only a few curly strands so that hairstyle was out of the question. Her hair was naturally wavy so that wasn't something she would consider, she decided that she would just straighten her hair piece by piece although it would take a little long but she did have the time. After what seemed like a really long time her hair was straightened and she set the straightener down looking at her hair making sure she didn't miss anything. Now, it was time for the dress.
Sarah made sure that the door was closed then she put on her deodorant then she dropped her towel to the ground and put on some underwear then she put on the dress. She really hoped that Sam liked what she looked like. She put on her perfume which was twilight woods and she thought it smelt really good actually. Sarah may be guilty for buying a new pair of heels for this date...but she had to it was important for everything to go well. She could feel the butterflies in her stomach and it wasn't good at all, she tried to take some deep breaths. She was perfectly fine on the first date they went on...so why was this so different it made no sense to her, well actually the first date she had her dad who supported her so she had no worry.
Sarah looked at the time realizing that it was almost time to go and she put on her heels and sat on her bed just looking at the time waiting for it to strike the mark. When it did hit the mark there was nothing but a minute later she heard the knock on a door and she quickly started walking down the stairs and the nerves were still there but she would survive it, she even contemplated on texting her dad but resisted. Sarah opened the door with a smile looking at Sam. "Well, hello handsome," she said with a smile on her face. She was really excited to see him right now, and he looked really good in a suit. "We ready to go?" She asked the Winchester boy. Hopefully it wouldn't be a cold night she didn't want to bring a jacket. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - He waited with bated breath as the door opened and upon first look he let it out with a large ‘woosh’. He smiled his signature grin and pulled out the roses which were already in a vase with a teddy bear attached to it. “For you beautiful.” He told her, leaning in and pressing a chase kiss to her cheek. “I figured no good could come out of bringing a woman chocolate on a first date so I went with a teddy bear instead.” He told her with a wink. He waited until she put the flowers and teddy bear inside before offering her his arm. “Shall we?” He asked, purposely overdoing it just to see her laugh.
He led her to the rental car he had used the last time they saw one another and laughed. “I am going to buy a new car in a few days. I’m sick of driving a rental and since Dean has apparently gotten a life without telling me it’s apparent that I need my own wheels.” He told her before helping her inside and shutting the door behind her, making his way over to his own side of the car in order to drive them towards the restaurant.
Upon getting in the car he took Sarah’s hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it before squeezing it gently. “You love amazing, in case I forget to say it again tonight.” He told her, chuckling as he started the car and pulled away from the curb. “You tend to leave me speechless so it wouldn’t surprise me if I forget to say it more than once tonight.” He wasn’t sure where the flirting was coming from but he did know that he liked how light hearted he felt while with her. He felt feelings coursing through him that he had never felt before and while it worried him because of the magnitude of his feelings so early on, he welcomed them at the same time.
The drive over was quiet but not uncomfortably so, more like the two were content to just be with one another rather than having to fill every second will useless chatter. However Sam did want to make sure where they were going was alright so he finally broke the silence about five minutes before they arrived at the restaurant. “So you do like Italian food right?” He asked her with a smile. “And before you interrupt and say that we could have gone to a bar I know I was all awkward and stuff the last time we tried to go out but you know why that is…I promise it’ll be fine tonight.” He told her before pulling into ‘Tony’s On The Hill’ and parking the rental car. He made his way around the car and opened the door, helping her out before taking her arm.
He probably should have looked around the parking lot before walking in but Sam didn’t think he needed to be on guard tonight so he waved off the wave of paranoia that threatened to overtake him and instead focused on the beautiful woman on his arm. He couldn’t help but stop right before they walked in. “I know I am breaking every rule of the dating handbook but since I technically already broke it earlier in the week I just wanted to do this before we went in.” He told her before leaning down and pressing a gentle though loving kiss on her lips. He didn’t notice that two couples stopped and looked on, both smiling at how in love the young couple was.
Neither of them knew it so it was probably a good thing that neither saw the looks. Pulling back he grinned. “Alright, now that that’s out of our systems, shall we go eat?” He asked, offering her his hand to lead the way.

------------------ ------------------ Sarah smiled at the sight of the roses and teddy bear, he really was a romantic and sweet guy. "You shouldn't have Sam," she said with another smile accepting the roses and teddy bear. The date was already going perfect, more than she imagined. "Such a romantic," she said with a teasing smile, she liked him for that though. "I love the roses and the teddy bear is really cute I'll give him a name when I come home," she grinned and went inside to put the teddy bear and roses quickly into her bedroom and came back and closed the door behind her. "We shall," she said with a small laugh while she linked her arm with his. She could tell that she would have a really good time with the tall man, she couldn't wait for what the date would bring.
"Good thing you got yourself a life also," she said with a joking wink. She got into the car when he opened it for her and she made sure her dress was in and that she had her purse and everything else. "What car are you thinking of getting?" She asked the boy. This car wasn't really bad, it was actually a good car so she didn't know why he didn't just keep with it but maybe it was just time for a change. She looked at her dress just to make sure it wasn't dirty or anything, she was just being a little bit paranoid right now but she couldn't help it because she just didn't want anything embarrassing to happen even though she'd be completely fine once they got there.
"Thank you," she said with a big smile on her face. "I think we make quite a cute couple," she said with a soft grin. Sam looked really good, wait he always looked good but he could really work a suit. "Keep complimenting and you just might get lucky Winchester," she said with a flirtatious smile and reached over to kiss him on the cheek. He was literally making her really happy. She knew that it was really early into the relationship but the way she felt for him and about this date was just surreal and indescribable. The girl had fell hard for the boy and this time there was no going back for her.
Sarah looked out the window as they drove to the place they were going to eat at and the silence wasn't bad at all, in fact it felt pretty good considering they were so comfortable with each other. It wasn't awkward and both weren't forced to keep a conversation but Sam finally spoke. "A beer and a movie would have been just fine," she said with a laugh then sighed. "As long as you promise and I love italian food, maybe I'll cook you something one day," she said with a smile. Sarah wasn't the perfect cook or anything yet she was still decent and she was a hell of a baker which she would have to show Sam soon maybe she'd bake him some cookies or something one day, she wasn't entirely sure but she'd figure it out but until then she would enjoy this date with her boyfriend...yeah her boyfriend the two were finally dating, he was her's officially now that was really great.
They had finally arrived and she got out of the car as he opened it and once again the two linked arms and Sarah just smiled. The two had started kissing and Sarah didn't notice the couple starting at her and Sam, right now her and Sam were in their own world and it was the perfect world. Both had pulled away knowing it was time to get inside. "If you're breaking the rules I might as well too," she placed her hands on the front of his shirt and grabbed it then kissed him one more time passionately and let go with a smile. "Now we can," with a small smile on her face now. She put her hand in his and they went into the restaurant. "This is place is really beautiful...you really didn't have to bring me here," she told him feeling a little bit guilty. The classic movie would have worked, as long as she was with him she was fine. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean couldn't wait for tonight he had wanted for so long to take his girl to a nice place, plus it was just going to be the adults tonight which meant lots of alcohol. Which is why Dean plains on having a beer when he gets in, which after these last few days can anyone really blame him. He just found out that Lisa loved and wanted to be back with him, Sam has a girlfriend that Dean just can't wait to meet, and to top it all off Dean is a dad. Something that Dean never thought in a million years thought that he would say. But now he can and he plains on spending as much time as he can with his boy, that is if he ever stops being mad for him hunting that is.
Dean was pretty fast to get ready getting out of the shower to put on his suit, he wanted to look his best for Lisa tonight. It had been a long time that he had take Lisa out so tonight was going to be special, just the two of them over a candle light dinner. Nothing could mess with this night, in less Sam calls him with a case. But hopefully that wont happen tonight, Sam and him had made there own plains so there was no necessary need to hunt. Dean began to make his way down the stairs to find Lisa standing there, with annoyed look on her face. "Sorry it took me so long I had to look my best tonight for you." Dean said while walking over to kiss her forehead. "You ready lets get going tonight is going to be fun." Dean took her hand and was out the door, walking over opening the door to the Impala for her to get in. Dean then walked over getting in to start the car and was off.
Arriving at the resonant Dean parked the car getting out to go over to open Lisa's door. "Your door my lady." Dean Said with a smile trying to be cute. Dean took Lisa's hand walking her into the restaurant. He couldn't help but wonder what was going through her head right now with how nice this place was, he did go a bit overboard. But he couldn't help it Lisa deserved the best there was. Walking in they asked the man for the table and began to make there way over to it. Dean pulled out the chair for his lady letting her take a seat, he then walked over to his seat doing the same.
Taking a seat they both got there menus looking to see what they wanted, there was so much to pick from Dean didn't know what he wanted. Right now all he cared about was being here with his girl, he could careless about the food, which he couldn't believe he was even thinking right now. Not long after Dean was sitting there he notice his brother waking in with someone, he wondered what he was doing there. "Hey I think that might be Sam." Dean said to Lisa. "I'm guessing he came here with that girl he was seeing. GIve me a moment I will be right back. Dean then walked over to say hey to his bro. "Hey Sammy what you doing here, I'm seeing now you and I have the same tastes in good food. Now the question is do we have the same in woman" Her back was to him, Dean stood there waiting for her to show her face

-------------------------- -------------------------- Lisa couldn't believe that she was so nervous. Why was she so nervous? It didn't make sense. She had no reason to be nervous. She and Dean were just going on a double date with Sam and his girlfriend Sarah, it wasn't like she was going out with people she didn't even know. Well, Sarah she didn't know very well, so she supposed it would make sense for her to be nervous about seeing her again. Besides, they were going to be telling Sam that he was an uncle tonight. Lisa bit her lip. Would he be happy about that? Oh, she hoped so! The woman turned to stare at her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing a modest black dress and matching high heels with some small stud earrings and a heart necklace. I hope I look okay, she thought to herself. She hadn't been on a date with Dean for a very long time. Maybe that's why she was nervous: it was the first date she had with Dean in ages and that man could always make her heart flutter. It was a wonderful feeling, one that she wouldn't trade for anything.
Okay, it was time to go. She hurried out of the room and to the living room, where Dean was waiting. "Well, well, well. You still know how to clean up," she stated with a grin, appraising him in his suit. He then kissed her on the forehead, apologizing for being late, saying that he had wanted to look nice for her. "You always look nice," she told him, leaning forward to give him a kiss on the cheek. Then, "Okay, Ben has the number of the restaurant, he's got the number of the Petersons and the Millers, as well as emergency numbers, he has a frozen dinner in the freezer, he knows not to answer the door unless he hears the special knock...am I forgetting anything?" she asked, mentally running everything through her head. She had come up with the idea of a knock code a little after Dean had first told her about the Supernatural and the current knock was set to the rhythm of Billy Idol's "Mony Mony" which was fairly easy to memorize and she knew that Ben wouldn't answer the door unless he heard the exact sequence, so she didn't need to worry about that. So how come she had a bad feeling that she was forgetting something? Oh well. I'm probably just overthinking things, she thought to herself.
She then followed Dean into his car and was silent on the way to the restaurant, partly because she was nervous, and partly because she was content to just sit there. But finally, they were at the restaurant and Dean parked the car and turned it off before opening her door for her. "Thank you, Sir," she said with a smile. She loved this side to Dean as it wasn't a side that he showed just anyone. It was for her and her alone. That's why it was so special. Still smiling, she took Dean's hand and they walked into the restaurant, and were led to a table. Once there, she pulled out a menu and perused it. "Why do I get the feeling that I'm not going to be able to choose?" she asked. "It all looks so good," she commented. And it did. And also expensive...not that she cared about that. It wasn't often that she got to go to places like this, and she was going to enjoy it.
Her musings were cut off as Dean stated that he had seen Sam. "Really? Cool," she said. I wonder who he brought her, she mused. Then, she gave herself a mental slap. That was none of her business. If Sam had wanted them to know about his date, he would've told them. Dean requested a minute saying that he'd be right back. "You be good to your brother," she chided. "And say "Hi" for me!" she called before throwing an apologetic glance to the couple at the table across from them. That was kind of embarrasing...she hadn't meant to attract attention like that. She then turned her attention back to the menu. What did she want?

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - He chuckled and shrugged, a tad embarrassed though he was glad to know that she appreciated it. He for some reason felt the need to impress her even though had she known that he was sure that she would tell him it was not necessary. He had a feeling that she not expecting it was the reason that he truly wanted to do special things for her. It was the same way with Jess. She was more than happy to lay around the house and watch movies just as she was fine with dressing up for a night out on the town. The only time he can remember them actually arguing about a place to go was Halloween as she wanted to go to a costume party and he hated Halloween with a passion.
He had given in of course but that was just the way that he was.
He thought for a moment before grinning. “Older cars are more my brother and my dad’s thing, I’m thinking of getting a new Dodge Charger. Most likely black. What do you think? Any other suggestions?” He asked, quirking an eyebrow as he kept his eyes on the road. Luckily it didn’t take long for them to arrive at the restaurant as he would much rather be looking at the beautiful woman that he called his girlfriend rather than the endless pavement in front of him.
He smirked when she said something about getting luckily, pulling her close to his side and pressing a kiss against her neck. “Oh yeah, how lucky?” He asked with a grin before chuckling again and leading her inside so that they could get a table. As the two waited he heard something about her cooking and he looked down at her in surprise. “Hmmm…seems like you’ve been keeping talents hidden from me Ms. Blake. I didn’t know you could cook. Any other little tidbits I should know?” He asked, curiosity burning in his eyes.
He placed his hand on her lips to hush her when she started talking about not having to bring her there. “I wanted to.” He told her honestly. He knew that she was aware of his and Dean’s non-paying jobs as hunters but she doubted she was aware of how exactly they had lived for years. He and Dean had never seen eye to eye on the whole ‘working’ issue… Dean preferred to run credit card scams and to hustle men out of their money while he preferred to actually do day jobs every now and then again. It was just the way that he was.
He heard Dean’s voice before he looked up to actually see him. Biting back he groan he smiled at his older brother. “uhh…yeah. I’ll let you keep Lisa and I’ll keep my girlfriend so us having the same taste in girls is irrelevant at this point.” He told him with a laugh before nodding at Sarah. “Besides, I’m thinking you two have already met at one point.”
He knew that Dean would probably make a big scene about seeing Sarah again and for once he was alright with that. He was actually looking forward to seeing the look on his older brother’s face when he realized that the girl that he had actually approved was standing with him being called Sam’s girlfriend. He looked down at the brunette and winked at her, giving her the silent cue to turn around and watch his brother’s jaw drop, something that he knew that they would both find highly amusing.

------------------ ------------------ Sarah wasn't one for gifts and it always surprised her when she received one so Sam giving her the roses and teddy bear made her really appreciative. She knew that he was going to be a really good boyfriend but she didn't know he'd be this amazing. He knew exactly what to get her and he knew exactly how to talk to her, he was truly a remarkable guy and she was really happy that he had asked her out on this date, she really needed it. She was just in a good place right now, and it could only get better from now on she just had one of those feelings and it was a really good one.
"I think the dodge charger would be good, it suits you" she said with a smile on her face. It seemed as if she could never stop smiling when she was around Sam, she didn't know why, maybe it was just because he made the girl happy. "Hm, maybe a pink SUV? Just to show off your manliness," she said jokingly. "But if I had to choose maybe a Lexus GS350 F? I could see you in that also," she a little dazed off into thinking about the two cars. She wondered which one would be better for him, it didn't really matter though since it was his decision to make in the end. Hopefully she'd be there to see which car he picked. Both would be good for the boy and Sarah was of course okay with whichever one he picked.
The kiss on her neck felt really good, one thing Sarah enjoyed was being kissed there and she just wanted to make out with Sam right now but that couldn't happen at the moment. "Wouldn't you like to know," she said with a wink. "I guess we'll just have to see," she said with a flirty smile. She really liked flirting with him, she felt comfortable and it wasn't awkward, it was a lot of fun. "Surprised?" She said with a raise of an eyebrow. "There's a lot more," she told the man. The two still barely knew each other, well actually Sarah knew Sam's whole life but he didn't know her's, but still both of them still had a lot to learn about each other and she couldn't wait actually. "I can play piano? If that's something," she said with a little laugh. She wasn't really sure what Sam wanted to know.
Sarah smiled when he put his finger on her lips and when Sam told her he wanted to, it did mean a lot to her. She was fine with watching a movie and cuddling but if he really wanted to take her out then so be it, it was a nice treat. Sarah just wondered how expensive the place was, hopefully not a lot she didn't want Sam to be spending a fortune, maybe she could chip in but knowing him he would refuse, it didn't hurt to try though at the end she'd ask. Everything he had done tonight was a nice gesture but he really didn't have to do any of it but he did and that made Sarah feel really special.
Sarah heard a familiar voice and she instantly who it was, it was Dean and he didn't know who she was right now since her back was turned which actually made her laugh silently. Sam had given her the go ahead to turn around and she did with a smile. "Hi Dean, it's been a long time," she was amused right now. She knew he couldn't believe it was her. "Now you know I'm the girl Sam's been talking about," she said with a grin. She then looked at Sam, "I think he's gone mute," said with a laugh. This was just really funny. She wondered who Lisa was, Sarah wanted to meet her which she probably would tonight. "Where is Lisa?" She asked looking at the tables to see if there was one with a girl and an empty chair.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean had to make sure he looked great for Lisa tonight, he knew tonight was going to be a great dinner with just the two of them. "Thanks babe I wanted to look good for you." He said giving her a wink. He then walked over taking her hand ready to go, she just needed to get out and have some fun all ready. "Come baby Ben will be fine trust me you worry to much, he knows if something is up to call me. Plus he also know I keep a gun under my bed, he can go and get that if he is in trouble." He said with a smile. "I'm just kidding now lets go nothing will go wrong, come on baby I'm starving."
He could tell that for some reason Lisa had been nervous, which he didn't know why she had no reason to be, tonight was going to be fun. But he could tell she was from when he opened the door, all the way to sitting at the table. There was just a bit of a silence as they were reading the menus, but it was OK Dean though it was kind of cute in away seeing that he still had this affect on her. But then she finally said something speaking about the menu, which she was right there was a lot to chose from. " I know what you mean I Don't know what to choose from there is so much, I just want to get everything. The sad part is with how hungry I am I could eat it all."
It was pretty cool that Sam was there he just wondered who is was he had brought with him, or how he had known her all ready. "What you mean I know her what is she an ex of mine, because if so I don't want her meeting Lisa. It wouldn't be a good..' But before Dean could finish the girl had turned around realizing herself. A big smile came upon the hunters face, he was so happy to see that Sam was with her. He had wanted them together a long time ago, he has always though that Sarah was the perfect girl for Sam. The girl that he should marry. "Sarah hey how have you been, what brings you to Richmond? I'm so happy that my brother and you are seeing each other." Dean said while going in for a hug. "You know I told my brother time and time again we need to come and see you, but he was just stubborn." He said while giving Sam a grin.
Sarah has asked were Lisa was wondering what she was doing, Dean did realize he needed to get back over to his girl. He knew she had to wonder what he was doing. "Hey Lisa is sitting right over here, come on guys you should join us what you say? Tell you what dinner is on me how does that sound Sam" He asked him knowing that would make him say yes.

-------------------------- -------------------------- Lisa grinned as Dean smiled and stated that she looked good. "You always look good," she told him. "But you look extra good in a suit," she continued, unable to keep herself from flirting just a little. Hey, it was the father of her child. If she couldn't flirt with him, who could she flirt with? Not that she wanted to flirt with anyone else of course, but one could understand what she meant. As she mentally went over things in her head, she knew that Dean could tell that she was nervous, though he didn’t seem to know why. He then took her hand and headed for the door, obviously ready to go, even as he assured her that Ben would be fine and that she worried too much, adding that Ben knew to call him if something came up and that he also knew that he had a gun under the bed and that he could grab that if need be. "True," she said even as he added that he had just been kidding. "No, actually, that's rather comforting. After all, we know what's out there," she stated. And if Ben was able to protect himself against a creature while they were away, so much the better. And besides, it wasn't like she had a thing against guns. She may not have liked to use them herself on a regular basis, but she would if she had to and she wanted Ben to be able to use one if he needed to as well. They were silent on their way to the restaurant and Lisa took the time to remind herself that everything would be fine as Ben was perfectly capable of handling himself for a few hours and that she and Dean would have a good time. When they were finally at their destination, she followed him to the table and sat down, perusing the menus. She then laughed as Dean agreed with her comment, saying that everything looked good and that he could probably eat everything. "Or we could take some leftovers home to Ben," she responded. She was sure that the boy would like that as it wasn't often that she went out to restaurants and a tiny part of her felt bad that he hadn't been invited. But another part of her---a selfish part---had wanted Dean to herself for a couple of hours. And tonight, she would have him to herself. Still, as soon as she was able, she was going to take Ben and Dean to the nearest fast food place and have a night with out with her boys. She hadn't minded too much when Dean walked over to Sam to see who he was with, as she had to admit, she was kind of curious herself, but it was none of her business, it was only Sam's. She forced herself to look at the menu and fought down the urge to walk up to them so she could see who Sam's date was. After a while, it appeared that that the conversation was drawing to a close. She then glanced at the menu and made a decision, keeping it open to the page that had her selection on it so that she could order right away. She hoped that Sam didn't mind the impromptu double date as the last she wanted was to make the man uncomfortable. But she had to admit, it would be nice to spend some more time with him as well...plus, she'd get to meet his date. --------------------------

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - He chuckled at the coy smile on her face when she told him to get a pink SUV. “I think I’ll leave the pink SUV up to you.” He told her before grinning. “Then again, we could always do pink and blue SUVs…you know his and hers.” He winked before chuckling again, having no idea where the idea of his and hers suvs had come from or why it didn’t scare the hell out of him like it would have even a year ago, yet here he was joking about it and actually seeing a life that he had at one time wanted but after getting back into the hunting life he had thought that dream was over. Yet here it was, within his grasp, and it didn’t scare him.
“As for the Lexus, I do agree, I like those, but I can see me needing something a little less expensive only because I have seen how many times Dean has had to fix the Impala because of something or another in our lives. So I’ll probably go with the Charger. And most likely I’ll get it in black or a dark dark blue. Sound like a plan to you Ms. Blake?” He asked with a roguish grin.
For some reason the thought of Sarah planning piano made him have, he didn’t know how to describe what he had. But it was almost like a vision and yet at the same time more like a dream. He saw Sarah playing the piano in a house that he didn’t recognize but he felt like he should because it felt warm in that split second. He saw two children run up to her and sit next to the piano, watching her play. He saw himself walking in with another child in his arms, this one a tiny baby, and sitting down on the piano bench next to her, his eyes on the three loves of his life, and he knew…somehow…that he could have that future.
It was his brother’s voice that broke him out of his day dream, fantasy, whatever you want to call it, and he would be the first to admit that hearing his brother’s voice break him out of that fantasy was like a bucket of cold water over him. It was not a pleasant way to come out of what he could easily say would be the best way for his life to go.
He smirked at the shock on Dean’s face as he pulled Sarah into his side, but unfortunately as was Dean he couldn’t seem to stay silent for long as the brunette was pulled out of Sam’s arms and into Dean’s as he gave her a huge hug. He had known that his older brother would be excited to see the young woman since he had always been fond of her but he hadn’t expected him to manhandle her, not that he thought much of it since he was aware that Sarah could take care of herself and it was Dean, but still. He hadn’t expected that.
He thought about saying no to joining Lisa and Dean but he really hadn’t spent much time with his brother recently and he knew that while Dean would want to catch up with Sarah, he needed to make his own amends with Lisa. “Sure, but I’m not letting you pay for us. You pay for your girl and I’ll pay for mine.” He told him, kissing the brunette on the crown of her head. He made his way towards where he now spotted Lisa and grinned sheepishly. “Sorry to burst in on your date.” He told her with a laugh. “Apparently my brother has hijacked my girlfriend so I figured I’d do the same to his. How have you been Lisa?” He asked, leaning down to give her a brief awkward hug, knowing that the last time he had seen her he had been soul-less.

------------------ ------------------ Sarah laughed lightly, "Yeah, that sounds perfect, I think it's the best idea you've had tonight," she said jokingly. To be honest it actually made her pretty happy to hear him say 'His and Hers' it just seemed perfect and it was a possible future. That was all Sarah could think about, she was in the present but she did think about the future a lot especially a future with Sam. She could clearly picture it, she knew that the two had a chance of being together for a really long time in fact Sarah could never see herself breaking up with him, her feelings had just been too strong. She had a chance with a man that she had never thought she would see again...but he was here with her, being the amazing guy he was. She just wondered what their future would bring.
Sarah nodded as Sam spoke and listened to his reasoning on why he was picking the Charger, it did make the most sense. "Sounds like a good plan to me," she said with a smile. She loved it when he grinned, it was just really cute and it made her smile. "I still stand by the pink SUV though and the blue," she said jokingly. She was really happy to share her life with Sam, it was a good feeling to know that both were in it for the long run, she knew it would work out simply because of the fact that their feelings for each other had intensified in such a short amount of time, well at least that was her feelings. She was hoping the man felt the same way about her, it felt like he did considering he told her his life story which meant that he trusted her. She knew she would have to tell him what had happened in her life, even if it wasn't that much it was still something. She needed tot ell him more about her dad and just what had happened when she had found out she was a slayer.
Sarah couldn't help but think of something that Satsu had told her when they had ran into each other something that Sarah had been thinking about from that point. She didn't know what to say when Satsu had said it. I mean that's what it seems you to have is love and that's great, love is very hard to find in someone. It really is great when you find it fast like that, they say that means its meant to be. Did you know that?" Sarah had replied in confusion. "Love him? I didn't know that...I could see me spending the rest of my life with him so maybe I am in love...it's just really confusing! He makes me feel really good and the way I feel about him already...god I'm in trouble maybe I am in love with him. It had only been a short time but the feelings she had, could it be love? She could definitely see herself marrying him one day...maybe she was crazy for thinking that though and maybe she was being rash but she could just tell that she was supposed to be with Sam and only him.
"I've been good Dean more than," she said with a smile and looked at Sam. "And I'm here because I'm a slayer, you probably know Buffy and Willow right?" She assumed he did considering Sam sort of knew them. The two hugged, she could tell that he was excited and really happy that she was dating Sam. "So, I've heard," she said with a laugh. "But yeah he definitely can be stubborn," she said nudging Sam and linking her arm with his. Sarah made her way to Dean's table and looked at Lisa, "Hi, I'm Sarah," she said with a smile. She grabbed a chair to sit down. Who knew this would turn into a double date. She didn't mind really, it'd be good to get to know Lisa and it'd be good to talk to Dean again, although it did suck that she wouldn't have Sam all to herself. "So, apparently you've hijacked me Dean," she said with a laugh. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean was happy that Sarah was doing well, beside that she looked great he was really happy that her and Sam started to talk again. He couldn’t believe to hear that she was a slayer, it was kind of a shock to Dean. “Yeah I know Buffy and Willow, she is a good friend of mine who has done a lot for me, and as for the witch I don’t know what I would have done if she hadn’t helped Sam. I owe those girls a lot.” He told her. “But you are a Slayer huh nice, I could always tell there was something kick ass about you. Almost like you had hunter in your blood, even though Sammy wouldn’t have agreed with me.” He loved that Sarah and him were laughing and getting along like old times. Even though he was pretty sure they were driving Sam nuts, but oh well it was all in good fun. After all they were all going to be family one day, Dean could see it clear as day.
Dean did feel kind of bad about interrupting there date, but at the same time he had not done much with Sam lately. Which fully wasn’t his fault Dean had been busy with Lisa and learning that Ben was his son, which was something that Sam still didn’t know. Soon Dean was going to have to tell him, he just had to find the right time to do it. He knew that Sam was going to be freaking out when he found out he was going to be a uncle. But at the same time he was going to be happy knowing someone has been added to there family, because really there weren’t anyone alive In there family much anymore. Well other then Bobby he was pretty much like a dad to them, he has always been there when they needed him most. Even though lately he had been MIA with Rufus.
“Sure Sam you can pay for your girl, I was just trying to make you want to sit with us more to have dinner.” He said with a smile. “But if you insist its all right with me.” They then made there way over back to Lisa, he knew she had to be wondering what was going on. But she was going to love all of them having dinner, Dean knew the two girls were just going to hit it off and make great friends. Which could be really good when they are always away hunting the two could hang out. But then again with Sarah being a Slayer now she could be in the action, which was awesome in Dean’s book. “Hey babe they are going to have dinner with us, I hope that’s ok.” He said sitting back down next to her, taking a seat. “Sit down guys lets order some drinks, what you say Sam.” He asked his bro. -------------------------- -------------------------- Lisa studied the menu, trying to keep from staring at the conversation that was going on. It was no surprise that she was curious about what was happening---especially since it appeared that Dean also knew Sam's date---but she was trying not to let it get the best of her. What curiosity did to the cat and all that. But she had to admit, she was curious. The question was how did Sam's date and Dean know each other? Had they dated? Almost as soon as the thought crossed her mind, Lisa pushed it aside. If the girl had been someone Dean dated, his body language would be entirely different as the situation would be awkward for him, she was sure. Heck, it'd be awkward for her. No one liked meeting their boyfriend's ex in most situations and if that ex was dating his brother---well, it would be even more awkward. But ti would appear that this wasn't the case, which was good. But it was definitely someone he knew and liked. Unfortunately, that's all Lisa could garner from watching them. She then returned her attention to her menu. What did she want to eat? She had seen some selections that had looked good, but she had to narrow it down. As it was, she was stuck between three choices. Hmmm....I think I'll go with the Chicken A La King, she thought to herself. It had been a while since she had that and it was one of her favorites. So it was decided. She would get that. Almost as soon as she had decided this and placed her menu down, Dean walked up, asking if it was okay if Sam and his date joined them. Well, sort of asked. He actually told and then asked, but that was okay. She thought it was kind of cute in a rough sort of way. Dean wasn't one to tiptoe around an issue like some guys and she actually preferred that. Besides, Sam was always welcome and this would give her a chance to spend more time with him as well as getting to know his date. Yes, her curiosity was rearing its head again. But she couldn't help it. Well, she could, she just didn't want to. Maybe that made her a bad person, but she couldn't help it. She had always been curious, even as a child. "Of course. He's always welcome," she responded with a smile as Dean sat beside her and then told Sam and his date to order drinks. "I'm Lisa," she introduced herself to the girl, giving the girl a quick cursory look. She was actually quite pretty---not model pretty or anything, but reasonably attractive---and she wasn't sure why, but Lisa got the feeling that there was a certain strength hidden behind her demeanor. "If you don't mind me asking, how'd you and Sam meet?" she wondered. And there was the nosy part of her cropping up again. "I'm sorry. That was rude. You don't even know me and I'm asking you how you guys met," she apologized, her expression becoming sheepish. Way to go, Lisa. Why don't you just get her shoe size while you're at it? she berated herself. Hopefully, she hadn't just offended the woman... --------------------------

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - He chuckled when Lisa asked about how the two…well…Sam was assuming really three…knew one another. “It’s not rude at all…especially since my brother manhandled my girl and all.” He told Lisa with a wink, showing her hopefully that not only was he not nearly as big of an asshole as he had acted when he had no soul but that if he wasn’t worried than neither should she be. He had seen the hesitation and curiosity in her eyes when the three had approached the table and he assumed that she was curious as to how not only he and Sarah had known one another, but how Dean and Sarah were acquainted as well.
“Actually, we met a few years ago. Actually it was about a year and a half or so before Dean and I showed up in Cicero for Ben’s birthday party.” He told her, remembering the near begging that his brother had to do to get him to agree to go and let him show up on some random woman’s doorstep. He clearly remembered Dean telling him that it was his dying wish and that he would take as many dying wishes as he could get in before he could get no more.
That was his brother for you
“We were there investigating a few things and it led us to Sarah’s father auction house. She really wasn’t too big of fan of me when we first met, thinking I had no idea about anything that I was talking about, but you know, I showed her she was wrong.” He stated, pulling Sarah into his side with a chuckle. “Actually I was a bit taken aback by her. I liked her immediately but I didn’t know how to deal with it so I kept pushing her away. Luckily for me she didn’t let me.” He stated, his eyes shown with honesty and something else that only someone who knew the emotion would understand.
“Anyway she pretty much told Dean and I how it was. We tried to keep her out of things but she refused to be put off so she ended up being there when something attacked us…” he trailed off, not wanting to get too far into the discussion seeing as they were in a restaurant where anyone could hear them. “We all made it out okay though thanks to Dean and then we left. Sarah and I have only been back in contact for about a week but I figure that’s her story to tell.” He told Lisa, though his eyes were fixated on Sarah’s as he told her silently that it was her choice whether to tell both Dean and Lisa that she was a slayer. He knew that Dean would understand immediately because of Buffy but he doubted that Lisa knew what a slayer was…
Most women weren’t huge fans of their boyfriends hanging out with other girls…alone…so he really doubted that Dean had told Lisa about Buffy. “What about you two? I know that you moved here awhile ago but I’ve barely seen my brother around so what have you two been doing?” He asked, realizing how much he had actually spoken and wanting the conversation to fall on someone else rather than him.
