--------------------------------xxxxTake what's yours and leave the rest
So I'll survive God its good to be alive --------------------------------- Gabriel watched her. He took pity on her. He couldn’t imagine the plan that was in store for her, and for the Winchesters. If anyone knew what heaven was like, it was Gabriel. The archangel let out a sigh as he jumped up and sat down on a tombstone. It was a peaceful time, something he couldn’t ask to change. It was true, out of all the chaos Gabriel caused and mischief that he threw into the world, the archangel loved his quiet time, so he called it.
Gabriel‘s eye twitched as she spoke of Lucifer that way. He felt anger. No one was to talk about his family like that. He loved them all to much. He did defend them, despite what people may believe. Sure, they were dysfunctional, but that didn’t matter, but he heard the rest of her sentence, more of a question and he calmed down a little. “First, don’t ever talk about Lucifer that way. Sure, he is a bag of dicks, but I hate it when other people think they can call him names, and second, no he wasn’t always that way. Lucifer was kind, loyal, father’s favourite until father asked him to bow down to humanity and he said no.” Gabriel answered her. It was true. That was the basics of the story. “he didn’t understand. He told father he would bow down to no one but him and father got angry and banished him. Simple as that.” Gabriel finished.
Gabriel looked at her when she said she didn’t want to be a bad person. He would never let her be a bad person. She couldn’t be a bad person even if she had tried. He knew that. “I believe you. What ever it takes is a lot to commit too. Not asking for that.” he answered knowing full well what that could bring. “If you mean by me taking advantage of you by using you, then actually your correct. I need you on the inside. I want to know every little thing that Raphie is planning, stuff like that.” Gabriel gave her a reassuring look though. “don’t worry though, if he finds out about our little plan, I wont let him get as far as electrocuting you… it hurts.” Gabriel joked.
Gabriel took in a deep breath and he looked at the human turned angel. She was definitely a first, and a last. He wondered what would happen to her if they found that she was a “failed experiment”. no, Gabriel wouldn’t let that happen. He knew he was getting too deep now, and will be found soon, which means he would have to hide again. What would that mean for Jess? He didn’t know how he was going to teach her, but he at least had to try right? Castiel was obviously too busy…

Jessica Lee Moore was actually taken aback by how much the angel known as Gabriel changed his tone immediately. She was surprised that he seemed so protective over his family, when mere moments ago he had been seemingly against them. So why did he run away from heaven if he was so protective over his family? That worried her in a sense that she wasn’t sure that she could trust him. Why would she trust someone who was so protective over the devil…I.E. Lucifer? Well…now why would she…but why should she trust someone like that? He seemed like someone she could trust.
But she had been wrong before…deadly wrong.
So it worried her to think that someone like an angel who was extremely high up in the ranks from what she could remember (which admittedly wasn’t much), was offering to help her…to teach her…in one minute and the next he was snapping at her for talking badly on his family. She didn’t know how to take that and it worried her because she didn’t like being confused. Jess didn’t know a lot of people anymore since she had to be careful on who she came into contact with. She couldn’t imagine the problems that it would cause to see some of the people she had known while she had been alive…
Jess sighed, not wanting to get into it at the moment. She decided to go with her gut and her gut said to trust him…but she reminded herself to be careful. She had trusted people before and had been let down.
She wouldn’t make that mistake again.
Jess tilted her head to the side, looking almost like a puppy in a way. “Whose Ralphie?” She asked, not having any idea what this odd man was talking about but wanting to know more.
It was a flaw of hers…she craved knowledge.

So I'll survive God its good to be alive --------------------------------- The Trickster looked at the blonde human angel and he sort of felt bad for snapping at her the way he did. People just didn’t respect that Lucifer is Gabriel’s brother and that he loves him so much. He needed to say that to her. “Look, just because you all call Lucifer the devil, well as father wanted, that doesn’t make me love him any less. He is my older brother. I love him. I love him more than I love Raphie right now. Lucifer had taught me everything. I will never stop loving him.” Gabriel let out a sigh. He looked at her and he then said “Sorry about that. Humans don’t seem to understand.” Gabriel had let out a sigh. He knew that he shouldn’t care, but he did.
Gabriel looked at Jessica and he knew she would probably be iffy on trusting him. Gabriel just watched her. He wouldn’t care if she left. He wondered if him teaching her was a bad thing. He was already failing miserably with the prophet that he had chosen to take, one he cared about. That was why Gabriel never got close to anyone. He did with Kali, but that ended badly. He was afraid they would get hurt, his friends, people he cared about. He knew that it was different though with Maddie, because she was a prophet and his siblings would think twice about hurting her even though father wasn’t around.
Jess had asked who Ralphie is. Gabriel let out a small laugh and he shook his head. “Raphie, Raphael, my older brother. Personally, I think he is worse than Lucifer on some levels.” Gabriel gave her a small smile.
“Ask me anything. I will answer any question you have.” Gabriel said to her honestly, as he started walking, hoping she would walk with him.

Jessica Lee Moore was still surprised at the way that Gabriel defended Lucifer. He was right though, humans didn’t understand. Well, maybe that wasn’t so true. Humans did the same thing all the time, so why should it be any different for angels? Like Gabriel said, Lucifer was and would always be Gabriel’s brother…no matter what terrible things he had done since then. You saw it with families of murderers all the time. Families would state that they couldn’t believe what their son or brother had done because that wasn’t the person that they saw. They saw their family member, not the murderer. Even if they did see it, if they could believe it, they may hate them, but they would always love them.
Jess herself understood the reasoning behind it, but she wasn’t sure if the situation was reversed if she could honestly say that she loved the devil. She had been brought up to believe in God, to worship God, and to spite the devil. She had been taught to fear the devil, fear hell, because if you believed in it, if you worshiped it, it meant that you were evil yourself…and that was something that Jess never wanted to be.
“You’re wrong…and you’re right.” She finally stated after a brief silence in the air. “Humans understand. They do it all the time. They love their family no matter who or what they are…no matter what they’ve done.” She stated, sounding matter of fact versus judgmental. “I understand what you’re saying…and I’m not judging you on it. I’m just saying that if it were me, I’d feel differently. But I really can’t say that because it’s not me. It doesn’t affect me…so I’ll just nod my head and change the subject.” She stated before doing just that.
She tilted her head to the side, her eyes widening a bit when she heard that this Raphael person was worse than Lucifer. “I’m sorry, no disrespect to your family but how can someone be worse than Lucifer? I mean I thought that he was the bad of the bad from what I remember of the bible. So what’s the matter with this Raphael person?” She asked, clearly needing more information.

So I'll survive God its good to be alive --------------------------------- Gabriel looked at Jessica. It looked like she partially understood, then it looked like she didn’t get it. He got it though. They were all trained like little puppies by father to think that Lucifer is the bad guy. Gabriel looked away from her and wondered what he should teach her first. He then thought defending herself was the first place to start. Gabriel looked back at her when she started talking to him again. He had never heard that he was wrong and right at the same time. With everyone, it always seemed like he was wrong. He really liked her. He understood what she was saying as well, and sort of nodded to show it. “that’s true too. But see Lucifer was the only brother that was close to me. Out of him, Michael and Raphael, it was always Lucifer. And dad did love him best. Not going to lie there.” Gabriel gave her a small smile.
Jess had then asked about Raphael. Oh Raphael. The typical older brother. “Raphael is so stuck on father’s will and his written word that he is trying to restart the apocalypse. There is a lot of us that doesn’t want that to happen. See unlike him, I appreciate this world the way it is, flawed. that’s what makes it so perfect.” Gabriel said looking around and then back at her. “its gotten to the point where he wont stop at nothing to do it, which means killing anyone who gets in his way.”
Gabriel looked at Jess and he made his blade appear. “so since we are standing here, do you know basic defence or fighting skills?” Gabriel looked at her curiously.

Jessica Lee Moore wasn’t sure why she was as comfortable with Gabriel as she was but she definitely felt like she could trust him. Trust was something that she had struggled with since before she had been killed, as pathetic as that was to say. She trusted Sam, but even then she knew in the back of her mind that there was something not right about her boyfriend. He was so closed off to a lot of things and they just didn’t make a whole lot of sense to her. She had always wondered since the day she found herself in her heaven if she would have questioned more things would it have gone a different way.
Unfortunately or maybe fortunately she knew it wouldn’t have. She had tried to question Sam before he walked out the door to go help his brother search for their father on a ‘hunting trip’ but she had been pretty much given the brush off…she knew now why of course but it still didn’t make it any easier to swallow. She had essentially been lied to since the day that she met Sam which wasn’t an easy thing to swallow being that she had been so brutally honest with him from the beginning.
Jess focused more on what Gabriel was saying and less of her thoughts of Sam. She hated to think of him now being that he had no soul and she was still quite bitter about that fact alone. She wondered if she could trust Gabriel with that secret but quickly knew that while she trusted him for the most part, she didn’t know him well enough to know if he could be trusted with her rants about his father…given the way he reacted to her name calling of Lucifer…she had a feeling he wouldn’t react too kindly to her rants about why God would allow Sam Winchester to be brought back to life without a soul.
She was surprised when conversation switched gears and went towards basic fighting and defensive moves. Unfortunately she had to disappoint her soon to be teacher and shake her head. “No I don’t. I mean I’m a quick learner and I’ve always been extremely flexible as I was in gymnastics and cheerleading when I was younger, but as for fighting itself…no idea.” She stated, knowing this was not going to please him and she could feel the faint blush upon her cheeks at how far she had to go to learn how to survive again in this world as an angel.

So I'll survive God its good to be alive --------------------------------- The Trickster looked at her curiously. He was starting to get into the idea of having another person out there he could trust besides Dean Winchester, and Ken. He knew that she was concerned about Sam, about others, which makes her good enough for him. She was also what Gabriel describes as a good person because she seemed selfless. Gabriel just stared at her now. He knew she was thinking of something, but knowing what kind of position she is in, she was probably afraid to ask. Gabriel didn’t want to pressure her. He never really wanted to do that to anyone. He started eating another candy bar, which to him was like heaven. Gabriel had eyed her once more and let out a sigh. “seriously…” he said, munching on the chocolate bar, then reaching in his pocket offering her a chocolate bar.
She hadn’t had any previous fighting skills oh boy this was going to be hard. Gabriel let out a long, dramatic sigh and he looked back at Jessica with a smile. He looked at her and he then asked her curiously “Take you your blade. I will help. I can show you so much more than my siblings. Its like freakin‘ Nazi Germany up there right now, and as I said before, they would not approve of this so you cant tell a soul.” Gabriel wanted to make sure she understood the risks. She could be killed for this, killed again that is. He doesn’t want that for her. Gabriel wondered what his brothers would do. This was all still to weird, a human being turned into an angel.

Jessica Lee Moore’s eyes lit up when he offered her a chocolate bar. Oh lord did she love her some chocolate. Chocolate and coffee were her two greatest weaknesses and she would admit that to anyone and everyone. The best way to get her into your good graces was to offer her a coffee or a chocolate…though anyone who offered her a mocha which had coffee and chocolate in it would seriously be the king of her world for that day. If you wanted to test that statement, simply ask Sam Winchester how he got into her good graces…that would tell you right there.
She took the chocolate bar quickly, smiling at him with one of her rare but nonetheless blinding smiles. “Thanks.” She stated, quickly unwrapping it from the wrapper and taking a bite of it, groaning at how good it tasted. “You are officially my new best friend.” She stated with a laugh. “You have no idea how much I am addicted to chocolate.” Jess told him with a grin. “I actually haven’t had any since I got back being that I wasn’t sure if it would taste as good but holy crap does it still taste as good.” She stated, giggling a bit as she munched away happily on the rest of it…sad when it was completely gone.
She stood up once Gabriel told her to take out her blade and did as she was told, holding it in her hand for really the first time to try and get a feel of it. She had never been one for weapons as a human, even when Sam begged her to carry a can of mace at all times she still hadn’t done it, not wanting to hurt anyone. However she knew she had no choice in the matter this time around so she did as she was told.
“I promise, I won’t tell anyone. No one really talks to me up there anyway which is the reason I’ve been staying around here more than going back up there. Everyone seems very against the fact that I was made into an Angel so they tend to steer clear of me. So this secret is definitely safe with me.” She simply told him truthfully, hoping that he would know that he could trust her.

--------------------------------xxxxTake what's yours and leave the rest
So I'll survive God its good to be alive --------------------------------- Gabriel smiled as she accepted the chocolate bar. Usually he wasn’t one to offer but he could always bend reality and make more appear. That’s how he usually did things. He smiled when she said he was her new best friend. That was a little different. People usually avoided him a lot. He was one of those danger always follows him types of people. It was true. There was no way he could escape it. that’s who he was, whether he was causing it or it was after him. Gabriel bit into the chocolate bar and listened to her. He laughed at her statement and he then glared. “now that’s a sin darlin’.” Gabriel started laughing again. He watched her finish it and he smiled to her. “want more? Never ending pockets of candy and chocolate and anything else.”Gabriel smiled to her, taking another from his pocket.
The Trickster listened as she told him that she wasn’t really talked to up there, that she wasn’t liked much. Gabriel could totally understand. It wasn’t normal. It wasn’t normal. He just wished he knew who did this to her, who would rip someone from their heaven? Gabriel sighed. He couldn’t dwell on that. He needed to help her, he needed her to not feel like she was alone and if anyone tried to harm her he would be there, like he was for Dean, Kenny and Giselle.
Gabriel went through and taught her basic fighting moves. It was all he could do at the time. She needed to learn, especially if her real mentor was supposed to be Castiel. She could be in a lot of danger. All she needed to do was stay with Sam and Dean and for the most part she could be fine, would be fine. He had a lot of faith in the Winchesters, more than he thought. He was the one who told them how to stop the apocalypse and that they succeeded made him have more faith in them that he did before.
