- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She walked through the cemetery, her blonde hair flying around as the wind picked up around her. She looked up and down the aisles of headstones, briefly wondering about some of the more obscure ones. She noticed one that looked almost identical to one that had been in Sunnydale. It was a huge statue of an angel child with large wings. She remembered it because she saw it many times on her way to patrol for the years she spent in Sunnydale.
A familiar pang hit her chest as she remembered not for the first time that she would have no place to mourn her mother. When Sunnydale had been blown up, she never thought of the ramifications of it at the time. She had only thought relief when the whole debacle was over. However soon after they had arrived in Rome she had realized the consequences of the action. It had saved the world in a nutshell so she couldn’t regret it, but she had saddened thoughts about it. She and her younger sister would not be able to visit their mother’s final resting place.
Her mind picked up on a sound ahead and she tensed her senses going haywire at the sound and feelings from fairly close by. Crouching down she quickly pulled her stake from inside her black laced up boot. Standing up she quickly straightened her skinny jeans and pulled down her tank top and her sweater. She looked down at her hand and smiled as she remembered just a few days ago how Angel had slid her claddagh ring back on her finger for the first time in five years.
Hearing the sound again she realized she was wasting time and she ran towards the noise, noting with surprise exactly who were fighting. She thought about jumping in but didn’t, not wanting to come to their rescue unless she needed it which she doubted that she would. Luckily she was right and it didn’t take but a few moments before the vampires were dust floating in the wind. She waited to see if anymore were near before making her entrance, timing it just right as Satsu got ready to walk away. “Look who it is.” She stated, giving the taller Japanese girl a glare. She wasn’t really that pleased with Satsu at the moment for not only leaving Rome but for doing it without telling Sarah.
“Want to tell me what was so important that you had to leave your post and your trainee?” She asked, tapping her foot to emphasize her point. She wasn’t one for being in charge, at least not in the way that Satsu sometimes made her feel, but it was important that she knew where her best fighters were. She was more than just a little glad that she had listened to Giles, at least for the moment, and not sent Dawn back to Rome. The whole reason she had been comfortable with it was because Satsu and a few others were there. If she had sent Dawn to Rome and Satsu hadn’t been there she would have been extremely upset with the younger woman.

---------------- ----------------Satsu still was on the look out for Buffy, seemed this was going to be tougher then she though. She always remembered her being a girl to lay low and not be found in less she wanted be, but this was ridiculous. It had her really worried that something was wrong, because why would the Slayer need to lay low here? The whole reason to her being here was to round up potentials, which Satsu had not run into any of them ether. So that did have her kind of worried as well, she knew that after she found Buffy she needed to find them. God only knows how Buffy has been training them with no help, she had to be going nuts right now. Which is why Satsu plans on helping her all she can with them, that is if she ever finds her.
She was happy that she did have a run in with Sarah though, she assured Satsu that Buffy was in fact safe and not dead. Thank god, but sadly for her it wouldn’t be the first time. Death wasn’t ready something that new to Buffy. She has faith that she will find her she isn’t worried, her and Buffy have that connection they will find each other. Not only do they work together they are close, they can talk to each other about anything. Well they have had a very close past and relationship. Satsu just wishes that she felt the same way for her that she did, but sadly that will never happen. No Buffy’s heart will always belong to another, Satsu just doesn’t know how she feels about it being to a vampire. It might be best for her trip being her that she doesn’t run into him, other wise she might say something she will just regret later.
Satsu was making her way out of the hotel she was staying at, she was amazed at how nice it was. She looked up at the big beautiful light facture the hung from the ceiling as she was walking out, this place for sure was loaded. But that was all thanks to the people that help the Slayer school, making sure that there stay was great. Satsu couldn’t wait to see were Buffy was staying. She was know for living in style when she could. She begin to walk out of the motel making her way to the next cemetery that she needed to check out.
Slowly walking into the dark cemetery she being looking around, wondering what could lie around the corner. But then she heard a sound, she knew that it had to be a vamp. “All right come on out, I know you are there.” She called out. “I play this game all the time its nothing new to me, so please don’t act like you can out smart me.” Not long after that a vampire had jumped out at her, she quickly reacted grabbing him. “Nice but I’m still faster!” Another vamp showed up from behind her grabbing her, stopping her from fighting. “Aww your boyfriend is trying to save you I see, sorry but I have to brake up this little romance.” Quickly knocking both of them off her, she quickly took out her sword . She sliced the head off the first one, knocking his head to the ground. She turned around looking to the next vampire. Not being to help the smile she had on her face. “You are next my friend.” But that vampire did stick around as he begin to run away from her. “I don’t think so!” She said taking out her stake throwing at the vampire, it landed in a perfect place into his back near the heart, turning him to dust. “Bull’s-eye!”
Not long after that she heard a voice come from behind her, she knew that voice she quickly turned with a big smile on her face. “Buffy hey! But she could tell that the Slayer was not happy for her being here. “I’m sorry Ma’m.” She walked over giving her a quick bow, showing her respect. “But I came because none of us had heard from you back in Rome, you had me worry we though that you were well. Dead. So I came as quick as I could to check on you, plus Sarah is really bad with keeping in touch with me, I told her to call me after she got in contact with you. So far I have heard nothing.”

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She watched in fascination as Satsu fought. She had taught the woman herself so she was aware yet something about it screamed sensuality, which was strange since the only person that she found did that was Angel. Maybe it was because she knew Satsu better than she knew most everyone else but whatever reason it was fascinating to her. She was a fighter, much like Faith, yet her moves were smoother than Faith’s…yet Faith’s did pack more power. The same could be said about hers as well. Hers packed more power yet she was always jumping around, never truly fighting in a specific ‘style’ more doing what she had to in order to win.
She stood there, tapping her high heeled lace up boot on the ground softly, knowing that she would get the other girl's attention. She knew that she didn't look the part of the typical slayer at the moment in skinny jeans, high heeled lace up boots, a black tank top and a grey scoop necked sweater. Around her neck was the only thing that made her stand out for what she was, and that was her cross necklace. On the hand that clutched a stake she also had her claddagh ring on, something she hadn't worn in quite a long time yet it felt as if it had never left her finger.
Being called ma'am always made her cringe, so did the bow. She knew that Satsu had been raised in a different culture than she had been but still it was extremely strange for her. She of course had gotten several of the other potentials to do it and while Buffy tried to get them to stop none of them seemed to listen. Willow and Xander found it greatly amusing, as did Faith with the whole mocking thing. Yeah, it was definitely a habit that she wished she could force them to break but so far she had had no luck with doing so.
Quirking an eyebrow at Satsu she called her out. "You didn't tell Sarah that you were leaving. She showed up about two days ago and was wondering where the hell you were. You never leave your charge unprotected... Sarah may be a slayer... but she's still not ready to be on her own yet. If something would have happened to her...it would have been on you Satsu." She told her firmly, though not unkindly. She really did like the other woman but she needed her to understand that leaving without telling someone was extremely irresponsible.
“I know what it means to have to leave. I ran away from Sunnydale for almost four months one year and when I got back a lot of things were different. It took me a long time to realize that if something would have happened to Willow or Xander or anyone else because I left them to do my job for me, it would have been on me. And that’s not something that I ever want you to have to live with. So make sure the next time you get gone, you let someone know or you take them with you. Got it?” She asked her, her hands on her hips with her eyes raised in a questioning fashion.
Once she was given the affirmative she let her hands fall to her sides. “Now that that’s over, come here. Give me a hug. I haven’t seen you in months.” She told her before leaning over and wrapping the taller girl in a firm hug. Satsu was different to her than Willow or Xander. They hadn’t known each other for very long but they were still remarkably close so it was nice to see her friend once again.

--------------------------------The feeling had came back again, all the butterfly’s where back to her stomach. It was the feeling that she got whenever she saw Buffy, even though she didn’t feel the same Satsu will always care deeply for her. Plus she has more respect for Buffy then she has ever had with anyone, she really does look up to her. Satsu has never know anyone to fight as hard as she does, not to back down from anything, but most importantly Buffy never gives up on anything or anyone. Which is something Satsu really admires about her.
She could tell that Buffy was not to happy with her right now, you see it just by the expressing she was giving the her. She was right she shouldn’t have left like that, she should have let them know before leaving. It wasn’t very smart on her part at all, but she couldn’t help it after all she did have good reasons. She thought something was wrong with Buffy, it had been a while that they had heard anything from her. Satsu couldn’t help but think that something bad had happened, she could have been well…Dead. It sacred her to even think that something could have happened to Buffy, so she panicked and left.
“Look I’m sorry I’m not trying to give you a bunch of excuses here but we though something was wrong back at home, I mean have been trying and trying to get in touch with you. But I got nothing.” She explained to the Slayer. “So when I didn’t hear anything back I started to freak out, I started to get scared. Buffy I was worried that something happened or you know worse, so I wasn’t thinking and I came here. I’m sorry I just had to know that you were ok. Just the though of something happing to you it…..” She then paused for a moment trying to calm herself, because last thing she wanted was to cry. “Look I just had to come here and make sure you weren’t dead.” She finally said the words she didn’t want to say, her worst fear Buffy dying yet again.
She knew that Buffy would understand better then anyone though, even though she wasn’t happy with her she understood. One way or another she had been through some of the same things Satsu had been through. Which was why she looked up to her so much, She could always talk to Buffy about anything. Which was probably another good reason they weren’t together, because she would never want to hurt or rune the great friendship she has with her. Plus she is also kind of her Boss, which she cant lie it made wanting to be with her all the more hotter.
When Buffy asked her to come in for a hug she didn’t hesitate, she ran over into her arms holding her tightly. “I’m so happy that you are ok, it really is great to see you too.” She the let up from the Slayer wondering what she had been up to, it had to be something seeing they had not heard much from her. “So if you are ok then tell me what’s been going on? I mean it has to be something big seeing that we haven’t heard anything from you?” She asked.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She sighed and closed her eyes for a minute before opening them. “Some stuff went down but if we would have wanted everyone at HQ to know we would have let them.” She told her gently, not trying to sound harsh but just needing her to understand. “You have to remember something Sat. Xander, Willow, Giles and myself…we’ve dealt with this stuff for years. We are used to banning together to take down whatever comes out at us and having no one else to talk to about it. It’s going to take us more than a few months to get used to having to check in with people.” She explained softly.
She knew that Angel felt the same way often because she would immediately go to Giles or Xander or Willow, hell even Spike, when realistically she should go to him. She knew because she could often see the hurt in his eyes when he found out that she had known something and not told him. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to tell him it was that she had gotten so used to having only a select few to talk to that when he got back she had to get used to having him around again. It wasn’t that she hadn’t missed him because good lord she had but she had to deal with things by herself and it was taking her a bit longer than she would care to admit to learn how to depend on others again.
Hearing the younger girls’ words she shushed her, not wanting to get into the fact that she had been right. She knew that Faith had felt it when she died, they had talked about it once. She doubted the others would feel it now that there were so many of them however she and Satsu had a different relationship than most other slayers had. They were closer than a lot of others. She couldn’t call her a sister because they didn’t have that relationship like she and Faith did but there was a closeness there that few could understand. It didn’t surprise her that Satsu had been worried but that didn’t mean that she liked it. Everyone died one day and she already was aware that Faith and Angel would both feel her death for different reasons, she didn’t like knowing that Satsu could easily also feel it as well.
Holding the taller girl in her arms she felt both of them relax. They were close, closer than they should have been a few months previously, and while she knew that her heart could never belong to the other girl that didn’t mean that she didn’t care deeply for her. “Yeah, there’s been a lot of stuff going on. A lot more than should have.” She told her honestly. She didn’t want to tell her about the immortality, because again, only one person knew and that was Giles. She hadn’t anticipated telling him but it had come out during their fight and once it was said she couldn’t take it back.
“Glory is back.” She stated bluntly before realizing that there was a good chance that Satsu didn’t know or didn’t remember their tales about Glory. “Glory was the hellgod who wanted to go back to her dimension and tried to use Dawn’s blood to do so. She’s the one who opened the portal that I jumped into, thus causing my death the second time.” She continued on, talking very nonchalantly about her death even though it still ate her up inside sometimes. “She came back and started looking for Dawn so we’ve been dealing with that.”

--------------------------------She was right Buffy always had reasons to the things that she did, if she wanted Satsu to know she would have told her. But she couldn’t help but have to come here, she was worried. Which was a weakness that Satsu had, she worried about her friends way to much. “You right you would have told us if you wanted us to know, but my questions is were you ever planning on calling me. I mean I was worried I called and called but nothing.” She then stopped knowing that maybe she was getting a bit loud with Buffy, which was the last thing she wanted seeing that she was her boss. But still she was worried for her. But she was right they all have deal with this stuff long before her, and maybe if something was wrong they would have informed HQ. “You know you are right I just freaked out and lost it Buffy, and I’m sorry.” Said the Slayer.
She couldn’t help but lose it she cared deeply for Buffy, Not just with the fact that she was her boss. Buffy and her shared a bond that she didn’t share with the other girls, she had told her things that she had never told anyone else. Not to mention they have spend some intimate moments with one another but they don’t speak about that its past. But they both know it happen.
She held the Slayer in her arms and things felt right again, the way they use to be when they fought beside each other. She hated fighting without Buffy, they made such a great team when they were together plus the fights were always more fun. There was just something about Buffy puns that she loved so much, they always made for a great laugh. “So what’s been going on here anyway?” She asked her “I hope everything is ok, But if you need any help I’m down for a fight. But then again when I’m I not.” It was the truth she was always ready for little fighting, Satsu was a bit of a workaholic when it came to Slaying. What can she say You love what you are good at and she was pretty darn good, but sadly not as good as Buffy but then again no one is. She was a god when it came to Slaying, and everyone back home at HQ felt the same way.
Buffy had told Satsu that Glory was back, she knew right then poor Buffy had to be under a lot of stress. She remembered all the old stories that she used to tell her about Glory, not to mention all the times Dawn as talked about it. “I remember you telling me about that hell bitch, I'm sorry Buffy I didn’t realize things here had gotten that bad. I’m here if you need any help.” She then place her hand on Buffy shoulder letting her know that things would be ok. “Don’t worry Buffy she wont get her hands on Dawn I will make sure of that.”

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Hearing that Satsu was worried did nothing to quell the guilt inside, though she did push it down to deal with at another time. “Yes I was planning on calling you actually but things have been a tad complicated over the past couple of weeks. Between Glory and people showing up and learning about the true issues with this town as well as the town over I’ve been pretty busy. We’ve also found quite a few new potentials and most of them have wanted to stay so we haven’t had any reason to contact Rome yet to give them details when there was none to give that concerned HQ.” She told her firmly.
Sighing she shook her head. “Sat you don’t have the luxury of losing it. I know that sounds cold but it’s the truth. People depend on you and when that is the case you have to suck it up and deal. I know you were worried about me and I appreciate it but you knew from the moment that you were called that slayers don’t last long. So if one day I do take a bullet or a knife or a demon eats me, you’re most likely going to be called to step it up and take over a large portion of what I do. Which means that you can’t wallow and jump on a plane to find answers. Got it?” She asked, feeling guilty since she was essentially lying. She knew that she would never die but she couldn’t afford to tell anyone this just quite yet. Besides while she may not someone else would and the same rules applied.
She snickered at Satsu’s need for a fight. “So far everything has been calm though that could change rapidly.” She stated evasively, though with an air of truth to it. Glory hadn’t reappeared but that didn’t mean a thing. She knew that the hell god was pissed off that she hadn’t gone back to her own dimension which meant that she would come for them and Buffy also knew that she had to be ready. Keeping Satsu around would ensure that she would have protection for Dawn when the time came…because that was what it was…it was when…not if. She was surprised that the blonde hadn’t come after them yet but then again she also knew Glory. She knew that she had to have the right frame of mind so to speak before making a move and so far no crazy people had been admitted into the hospital meaning that she hadn’t had the opportunity to find a suitable candidate yet.
“I could use a protector for Dawn.” She told her earnestly. “I have to be on the front line and I cannot constantly watch my sister… but you could. Interested?” She asked her, though she knew that there was a good chance that Satsu would agree just to stay near her. She was not unaware of the taller girl’s feelings for her and she had felt guilty ever since their indiscretion but she also knew that Satsu knew she didn’t feel the same way, so she didn’t talk about it.

--------------------------------Satsu could tell that Buffy did have a lot going on, she felt bad for getting loud with her like this. She jumped to conclusions worried when really nothing was wrong but the same old same old. Buffy was busy dealing with things like always, now in away Satsu felt dumb and stupid for coming all the way up here like this. She really was needed back a HQ, helping all the other potentials back home. But she was happy to hear that Buffy had found some new girls for training, maybe coming her wasn’t a bust after all. “Really you have found some new once well that’s great, I could help you train them. I mean you do have a lot going on with Glory, so maybe I could be of some help to you.”
Sadly she was right she wasn’t going to always be around, after all she wasn’t going to live forever. One day Satsu would have to face the music, say goodbye and take charge, Buffy was right being a Slayer came with complications. “I know that one day you will be gone and I might have to step up, but don’t worry I will be ready when that happens Ma’m. I Promises that if that time comes I wont let you down.” She told her in a serous tone of voice. “Just for now I don’t want to think of something happing to you ok, I’m just going to tell myself you are bulletproof.” She said joking around.
Satsu was ready for a fight if they needed her she had been itching for some action, things back at home were pretty calm seeing that if there were any vampire they were all ready taken care of. A bunch of kick ass Slayers living in Rome, vampire were dumb to stick around there. “I’m happy to hear that everything is ok, well for now at lest I don’t want to go jinx it. So where is Glory now anyway, I mean do you guys have a lead on where she has been staying?” She Asked the Slayer. “And a better question is she has no idea where you guys are right? I mean everyone is safe.”
She could tell that Buffy was happy to hear that she would keep an eye on Dawn, the Slayers little sister was always known for making things worse. Getting into things that she didn’t need to be. “Don’t worry I will help keep her safe, plus I miss Dawn if you can believe it. Me and her had some fun time when we use hung out. It was true back in Rome whenever Dawn needed to talk to someone she would come to Satsu, But then again she would also come to Satsu whenever Dawn was mad at Buffy for not getting what she wanted. They fought all the time it seemed, but then again that’s sisters for you. “How has Dawn been anyway?” She asked.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Smiling softly she nodded. “I may just take you up on that. Of course now that we have three fully trained slayers and one almost trained slayer we should be good to go. However before you start training the new ones you may want to finish training your current trainee.” She told her with a pointed smile, though the mischief in her eyes clearly stated that she was messing around with the other girl. When Buffy had first Satsu she had first thought that the two would get along in the same fashion that she and Faith had at first…which wasn’t very well. However after spending only a few short moments with her she had realized that the young woman was someone that she could easily be friends with…and that was exactly what had become of them.
Taking Satsu’s hand she gave it a gentle squeeze before letting go. “You couldn’t let me down if you tried…as long as you try your best…you won’t let me down. Besides I don’t plan on leaving for a very long time so let’s cut the morbid talk and before you say anything yes I’m aware that I started it. And how many times do I have to tell you not to call me ma’am woman?” She asked her with a laugh. “Seriously though, it makes me feel old. Either that or a drill sergeant and I don’t want to be either one. So cut it.” She told her, knowing damn well that there was nothing she could do to stop Satsu from calling her ma’am. However it was fun to try.
Sighing she shook her head. “No on both accounts. I’ve got feelers out and I’m sure when it’s time to face her it won’t be hard to drag her out but we have no idea where she’s hiding out at. As for us, we’re not safe. Nowhere is safe when it comes to Glory. She’s not a vampire so it’s not like staying inside will make it to where we are all protected. She can burst in anytime, anywhere. And as for not knowing where we are? Yeah she definitely knows. She uh…she kidnapped me out of the house and it was hours before anyone noticed a few weeks back.” She told her, not wanting to get into the whole issue but needing her to know the truth. “So she knows where we are but she hasn’t come back since so maybe she’s laying low? I really don’t know. We’re working on it though.”
“Dawn’s okay. She’s not really talked to me much since she got back but that’s because she wasn’t supposed to be back in the first place. I didn’t exactly give her permission to come back. She showed up and it’s only because of Rona calling me letting me know that she was gone that I was even expecting her. Only reason she isn’t grounded to her room for the next ten years is because I’m not home enough to make sure that it happens.” She stated with a laugh.
“So what about you? How are you? And how’s everyone in Rome?” She asked, hoping that Satsu wouldn’t ask about Kennedy.

--------------------------------She was right Satsu did still need to finish with her trainee before she started with new ones. But she was so excited being here she couldn’t help but want to do and help with more. “Yeah I guess you right Buffy, I don’t know what I was thinking.” She said with smile on her face. She knew one thing she really didn’t want to go back to Rome just yet, she was hoping to stay here here for and help out. Plus she was always up for something new and exciting, maybe here in Richmond was the best place for that. “I just hope I can stay awhile and help, please tell me I don’t have to go back right away.” She said asked her with innocent like smile on her face.
She then felt Buffy take her hand for a quick moment, squeezing gently feeling safe knowing that she was there. She couldn’t help but smile when Buffy said that she couldn’t let her down, it made her proud knowing that she felt that way. “Well it makes me happy knowing you feel that way Ma’… I mean Buffy, so you know I do give it my best.” said the young Slayer. “and Sorry for being morbid I wont talk that way anymore, I just worry about something happening to you . And I kind of like having you around.” She said with a playful like smile. She didn’t meant to call Buffy ma’am it was sort of a habit of hers that she needed to break. Where she comes from it was there way of showing respect, which is something she has a lot of for Buffy.
It made Satsu nervous to hear that they weren’t safe from her, and that she knows where they have been staying. But what really upset Satsu was hearing that Glory took Buffy, it all made more sense now to why they had not heard from her. She was to busy dealing with the hell bitch and her dumb games. “I god Buffy I’m so glad that you are ok.” She said taking her hand for a moment. “But it does make me nervous that she hasn’t shown since then, it scares me to think about what she could have planed next. But we will be ready. ” They had to make sure that at anymore they were ready, they couldn’t let her get her hands on Dawn yet again.
All the things she was telling her sounded just like Dawn, the same predicable dumb things she always does. She was right though she couldn’t ground Dawn it didn’t do any good, she would just go sneaking out with a boy. “Yeah I’m sorry Buffy I kept a close on eye on her I swear, but it just seemed like no mater how hard I try she still got away. Man She is a fast one just like her sister, its hard to believe she isn’t a Slayer.”
She wanted to know how everything was back in Rome, Satsu could tell just by her tone of voice she missed everyone. “Everything is Ok I guess quite, but we miss you guys. Girls miss coming to you with questions, and they miss learning spells with Willow.” She then had a thought that came to her wondering about a certain someone. “Speaking of Willow how is Kennedy she left us at the school without reason, but from what I could see she seemed upset. I don’t know I guess she was a mess without Willow?” Said the Slayer sounding clueless.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Smiling softly she shook her head. “It’s okay. I understand, just remember better for next time. As for you staying, you’re welcome to stay for a bit. Especially since you’re current trainee is here. However when you’re asked to go back to Rome, you gotta report ASAP. I’ll call headquarters later and let them know that you are here and I am formally requesting that you stay for awhile to get matters in Richmond and Mystic Falls settled up. Now remember, that doesn’t mean that you are getting out of jail free. You are in trouble missy.” She stated with a mischievous glint in her hazel eyes.
Thinking about a suitable punishment for the young girl she was coming up blank. She knew that assigning her extra patrols would just make her happier. Which led to her actually coming up with a brilliant idea. “You’re off patrol for a week. You are stuck helping the newer Watchers go over paperwork. Only way you’re on patrol other than tonight is if I assign it. Got it?” She asked with a raised eyebrow. She knew Satsu wasn’t going to like her so called punishment while most girls would jump at the chance to be away from the danger.
She laughed softly when Satsu stated that she liked having her around. “Well I do try to be entertaining and all but you know how it goes Sat.” She told her, though refusing to go more in depth since she didn’t want to talk about morbid things, nor did she want to talk about her recent immortal status. She wanted to tell Angel first…well…second. Even then she didn’t really know how to tell him. She had no idea what his opinion would be. Would he be happy that she would be with him forever? Or disturbed by the fact that he could essentially be stuck with her?
Feeling Satsu take her hand again she felt a bit strange about it since she didn’t let go right away. She knew how Satsu felt about her and she also knew that she had most likely led the girl on with what happened in Rome. She didn’t think about it often since it wasn’t something that she had planned nor was it something that she ever intended to do again, but she did feel bad for making the younger girl think that she had more feelings for her than she did. Squeezing her hand gently she dropped it to her side, this time sliding her hands in her pockets. “We’ll be okay. I’ve got the starts of a plan, just need to iron out the final details before I let anyone know of it. Don’t worry.” She told her, sounding much more confident than she really was.
“I miss the girls too. Rome was…easier in some ways. Knowing what I needed to do day in and day out. Here, it’s just like Sunnydale. There’s always something coming and I can do nothing but try to be as prepared for it as possible without knowing really any of the information.” She stated before her eyes dropped. “Kennedy is dead. She went after some people…some humans. She hurt one really badly. She was a rogue slayer after seeing Willow and realizing that Willow couldn’t be with her any longer due to personal reasons. She lost it and went insane. She didn’t want help, so she was killed.” She stated, electing not to tell Satsu exactly who had killed her. If she asked she would be honest but until then she’d keep it to herself.

--------------------------------She knew that she wasn’t getting out of this easy, she was sure that later she would be getting another long talk from Buffy. But the good news was she was getting to stay in Richmond for a bit, she really was happy getting to work with Buffy again. “I know I’m not getting out easy on this, and I shouldn’t. But I do want to say Thank you Buffy for letting me stay awhile, and whenever you want me to go back home I will. But please don’t let it be anytime soon.” She said with smile. “What can I say I have missed you, plus without my partner Slaying just hasn’t been as fun.”
But she spoke to soon on the Slaying when Buffy assigned her first punishment, no Slaying for a week it was off to paper work. “Aww no way.” She said then put her hand on her mouth realizing that wasn’t the best choice of words, but she couldn’t help it the words just came out. “I mean yes that’s sounds fair enough to me” She then got excited for a moment thinking about the watchers she might be working with. “Buffy does this mean I will helping Xander or Mr. Giles? I really have miss them both, how are they doing anyway?” She then wondered if everything with Giles was going ok, seeing that back home they got word of Giles might be coming back. But she didn’t know if it was her place to come right out and ask, Buffy was pretty touchy when it came to him. But then again he more like a father to her then a watcher,
“Yeah trust me I know how it goes.“ She said with a smile. Sadly Satsu did understand, even thought some of the things Buffy did say sometimes was entertaining she knew it was more then that. Her joking around was more of away to keep her sanity so she didn’t go crazy, because in this life you do tend to want to lose it. Just like this whole fight with Glory she wondered how she was dealing with it, she may seem like everything was ok but she knew Buffy. She knew that deep down all this had to have her feel like she was going nuts. Having to map out a plan for someone that she hoped was dead. “Ok well when you get the details to the plan let me know, hopefully during the fight I still wont be grounded to paperwork.” She said with a smile giggle.
She could understand how Rome could be much easier, with there always being a day to day routine. But then again to Satsu she would love the action and excitement, always getting to do and take on something new. But then again Buffy had been doing this a whole lot longer then Satsu, so its safe to say she might be sick of it.
She couldn’t believe what she was hearing about Kennedy, how she went nuts on everyone. But if she needed to be taken out then Buffy did the right think, Satsu would have done the same thing. But then again Satsu might have not have handle killing a person as well as she could, Buffy was a whole lot stronger then she was mentally. It still didn’t change the fact that she knew it had to be hard for her, taking out one of her own. “ god I’m sorry Buffy, that couldn’t have been easy.” She placed her hand on her shoulder, giving her comfort. “I know it was hard but sadly it was the right thing to do, I cant believe she did something like that! I cant tell you all the times I trusted her, now I wish that I never did.”

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She laughed when she saw Satsu stick her bottom lip out in a pout. She knew that her choice of punishment so to speak would be harder for Satsu than anyone else since she was one of the few older slayers that had actually come to enjoy what they did. That wasn’t to say that the others didn’t enjoy it as well but most of them would jump at the chance to take a night, or a week for that matter, off from patrolling and concentrate on their regular lives such as school, work or boyfriends/girlfriends depending on the person and the situation.
Laughing she nodded. “Yes, that means that you’ll be able to help Xander and Andrew. I don’t know about Giles since he’s been pretty busy recently but I do know that Andrew and Xander would both be happy for your help.” She told her, not wanting to get into further detail about why she and Giles hadn’t been talking much. She refused to think about the fight they had, especially now with everything going in circles like it was. She hated to deal with things such as fighting with those that she loved but unfortunately it couldn’t be avoided most times.
Shaking her head she smiled gently. “I know it sucks but she really did lose it. Hopefully we won’t have this type of situation again.” She stated with a unconvincing smile. She hated thinking about what she had been forced to do to Kennedy but it hadn’t been feasible to do anything else. There had been no other way with what she had done, who she had done it too, and who she was. Slayers couldn’t be held unless they wanted to be. Faith had stayed in jail because she knew it was the right thing to do, however had she wanted to get out she would have gotten herself out.
Looking down at her cell phone she cringed at the time. “Alright we need to get back to the boarding house. I’m sure that Willow, Xander and everyone else will be happy to see you so we need to skedaddle. Plus the fact that I have to work in the morning so I need at least a tiny bit of sleep should help to make it so I’m not falling asleep at work like I have been the past few days.” She stated with a laugh before heading in the opposite direction that they had been walking in. “You coming?” She asked before laughing as Satsu ran to catch up with her. The blonde linked her arm with Satsu’s and headed home.
