- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -It had only been a few moments since the entire group had walked in the front door but thankfully she was already alone. She had gone straight upstairs to strip out of her bloody and torn clothing, not wanting to look at them anymore. Realistically she knew that tonight was only when she figured out everything, not when it had actually happened…however she still felt like tonight had essentially ended her life so to speak, only starting up another one but without her consent. She had never been one to let people tell her what to do and unfortunately this wasn’t something she could just go and whine about it for a bit before things calmed down. No, this was permanent…forever…. In the very literal sense of the word.
She stumbled over to her closet, knowing she was probably making a lot of noise but not really caring that much. She paid absolutely no attention to what she put on, simply grabbing a pair of jeans, some sweater, and a pair of shoes. For all she knew she looked like a clown and at this moment in time she couldn't care less. She noted that her cross hung around her neck and she figured that was good enough. She picked up a stake that was sitting next to her door for some random reason that she couldn’t begin to decipher and headed downstairs, noting that everyone was pretty much in the same spot that she had left them in. She didn’t say a word to anyone, simply grabbed Faith’s arm and pulled her towards the door. “We are going on patrol. Be back later.” She stated, her tone and the look on her face making it clear that she wanted no one to come with them.
This was slayer stuff…and even if there had been other slayers around, this only pertained to the two of them.
They didn’t even make it to the cemetery before she started talking. “There’s something I need to tell you. And I’m really not sure how you’re going to take it.” She told her, having absolutely no idea what Faith would say to what she had uncovered tonight. She doubted she would be as horrified by it as she was since Faith really had no one besides those in the group and even those she kept at arm’s length. The only ones she had truly ever bonded with were her, Angel, Connor and Spike. And out of those four named only Connor wouldn’t live forever.
Stopping at the curb before she got hit by a car (since she had almost walked in front of it) she waited until it had passed before heading straight into the cemetery, leaning against the first headstone she saw. “When I…well…died…so to speak. The oracles pulled me to them. They gave me some information about you and I…we can’t die Faith. We’re…” She trailed off before choking out the word. “Immortal.”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tonight had been a fucking roller coaster to say the least. The group's morale had gone all to hell when they'd found Buffy dead in the field. The hell bitch had been nowhere they could see, which had annoyed her to no end. Truthfully she'd wanted nothing more than to beat the bitch's face into the ground. Unfortunately enough she'd left, leaving them to fend off the horde's of demons that had escaped from the opening of the portal. As far as they all knew, Glory was still out there somewhere. Angel had already called dibs on her. Normally she would have fought this claim but she knew it meant more to him to be the one to actually kill her. Or perhaps not kill, but maim, at least, considering what she'd put them all through.
Seemingly out of nowhere Buffy had risen again, throwing herself into the fray of demons in the field. That was one chick that would just not stay dead no matter how many times she was killed. Buffy was resilient to say the least, and Faith admired her for that. Luckily enough Faith hadn't been killed thus far, though she knew her time would come eventually. All slayer's lives eventually came to an end, it was simply inevitable. They all knew it and they all continued to fight despite that. Well most of them anyways, the ones who didn't fight their destinies.
All of them disappeared when they returned to the Boarding House, all separating into different areas of the house. For the most part the group was pretty quiet after having been so shell shocked to see the blonde slayer return to life once again. Faith retreated to her room on the second floor of the house. Stripping off Buffy's torn jacket, she completely undressed and put new clothes on. Spotting a pair of Buffy's pants in her room, she stripped them on. Buffy was scrawny as hell so where they'd been loose on the blonde, they were skin tight on Faith. Nonetheless she didn't think anyone would be going out tonight and decided it didn't much matter.
Heading back downstairs, she was surprised that she was immediately dragged out of the house by the blonde slayer herself. The blonde's voice didn't seem like she wanted to be challenged, so Faith nodded and followed her out of the house. Crossing the street Faith simply looked at her sister slayer out of the side of her head. "What? You realize you secretly wanna kiss me? Listen blondie, I don't swing that way...Or at least not lately anyways" she told her with a smirk. Buffy seemed to be serious though, and the smirk quickly left her features realizing now probably wasn't the best time for jokes.
With a knife in her boot and a stake in the hem of her pants, the slayer simply crossed her arms over her chest and watched the blonde. Whatever it was...she needed to spit it out soon. Faith was a very impatient person. Brown eyes immediately widened to the size of the moon. Immortal? Instinctively she laughed, not realizing the blonde was being serious. After a moment she stared into the other slayer's eyes, brows raised. "Nah, you're kidding, right?" she asked, watching Buffy shake her head. "That's..." she began, simply staring at the ground attempting to find the right words. After a moment she looked back to Buffy, who was still staring at her intensely. "Badass" she finished, a large smile pulling at her features.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She rolled her eyes at her sister slayer's question about kissing her. “Been there, done that, got the postcard and the passport stamp. I’m good.” She stated sarcastically, though her mind went briefly back to her drunken encounter with someone in Rome. She hadn’t thought about it really since the day after it happened and she prayed that it wouldn’t come up now. Sometimes she needed to learn how to keep her mouth shut because clearly it never did anything other than get her in trouble. Hell she’d been punched in the face more than once because she’d been so busy working on her verbal puns that she hadn’t paid attention to her surroundings.
Hopefully Faith would think she was kidding though if not she’d figure out something out because there was no way she was getting into that conversation, not anytime soon at least. Her mind went back to the reasons that the oracles gave her and her own interpretations of said reasons. “You’re telling me that Faith and I cannot die until all evil is gone, which essentially means I cannot die and nor can Faith.” She stated, not even bothering to ask if that meant she would not age as well, because she knew that she wouldn’t. She couldn’t be 100 years old and look that old and still be battling demons, couldn’t happen. She couldn’t even begin to think on the ramifications of what this new knowledge meant, so instead she asked another question, one that had been the original one that she had asked, only tweaked in order to abide by the new classification she had put herself in.
“Okay, so if I’m not dead, why did I feel my life slip away? Why am I here and yet I don’t feel as if I’m fully here?” She asked before continuing on, wanting to know everything and yet horrified as she continued to think of what this all meant. “And if the slayers are now…” She couldn’t say the word. “If they can’t die, why have several died since they were called?” She asked, glaring at the two beings again.
Realizing that she was zoning out she shifted her focus back to Faith just in time to hear her say something about it being the situation being badass. She wasn’t surprised that Faith would feel that way because really how many other women in the world wouldn’t want to stay young forever? Not many.
“I’m glad you see it that way.” She told her, bitterness seeping through her voice. She didn’t want this and Faith clearly was completely okay with it. Again, it didn’t surprise her but that didn’t mean she liked it. “I asked the Oracles a bunch of questions and from what I understand you and I are the only two immortal ones of the slayers because we had both been called before Willow did her spell to create the new slayers.” She stated as bluntly as she could, knowing that if Faith truly had any questions she would ask them.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - All of this was a pretty big shock to her system. However with all of the fucked up shit that happened to them, it was actually kind of nice to have someone reward them with something like this. After all, they could live forever. Stay hot, badass, and kicking ass, all that they wanted. They didn't have to be vampires or anything like that. They could simply be themselves, hot chicks with superpowers forever. So why did Buffy sound so bitter about it? It almost seemed like she didn't want to be immortal? If that was the case then Faith would probably end up bitch slapping her. Was she that dumb? Her eyes narrowed in on the blonde's as her eyes remained wide. "You're saying you don't see it the same way? B, we're gonna be kicking ass forever. How the fuck is that a bad thing?" she asked incredulously, clearly not understanding how one could see that as a bad thing. Obviously she'd missed something right, there had to be a catch or something? But Buffy didn't go on to say there was a catch...So what in the hell was her problem?
"So....we can't die. No matter what?" she asked, her hands falling to her sides. With this she started pacing between Buffy and the crypt that stood about fifteen feet away from them. One of her hand held her other arm in her hand as she thought about everything. "That's why you came back. Y'know, with the hell bitch thing" she said, though she was more or less just thinking aloud. Again she couldn't help but feel pretty damn liberated about the entire thing. With this behind them they could do anything, take out anyone. It took out the only variable that they'd had; the fact that they could die. Again, it would make them the forerunners of the slayers line. They would go into battle first, they would take down the big bad's that no one else could.
It was exciting. As a thought came to her mind she made small 'hmm' noise before walking over to stand in front of Buffy. Tilting her head to the side she looked down at the slayer with a devilish smirk. "So you're positive we can't die? Not from anything?" she asked. When Buffy nodded, she nodded as well noting that she understood. As a light bulb came on in her head she grinned before looking back to the slayer. With this, leaned down slightly into a crouching position so that she was face to face with her sister. "We're gonna have so much fun with this" she said with a grin. Seeing the confused look on the other slayer's face, Faith smirked. Before Buffy could fend her off, Faith reached out and placed a hand on either side of Buffy's head. Without hesitance, she snapped the blonde's neck.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -It was no surprise to her that Faith didn’t see it the same way that she did. After all they had very different upbringings. Faith had been with crappy parents from what she had learned and had pretty much raised herself. While she had been brought up with a loving mother, an absentee father and a little sister that was really not her sister. However those weren’t the only differences between the two. Faith again was only really close with a handful of people, while she had numerous friends that she didn’t want to outlive. She couldn’t imagine attending her friends’ funerals and hadn’t really stopped to think about it since learning that she was the slayer since she knew that she’d never truly outlive anyone.
“Theoretically never dying and staying young and beautiful forever may seem like a great thing, but really, all I see when I hear that is death. Watching my friends die, my sister die, my family die. That’s something I never had to even consider ever since I was called when I was 15. I always knew that I would be the first to go and selfishly I was okay with that because I never wanted to see someone die that I couldn’t save…not someone I loved. I had to deal with that with my mom and I can’t imagine going through that again. So yeah, I don’t want to be immortal…though I know I’m probably one of the few who would look at it as a bad thing. Other than Angel…if I remember correctly one of the first times I heard him make a joke was about his immortal status.” She told her, remembering the words clearly. And Buffy, be careful with this gift. A lot of things that seem strong and good and powerful, they can be painful. Like say, immortality? Exactly, I'm dying to get rid of that. Funny. I'm a funny guy.
She shook her head when the question was posed about not being able to die. “I didn’t get all the details so I don’t know if we’re cut up into pieces if we can magically put ourselves back together or if someone beheads us if we will be brought back but from what I understand yeah, there’s no way that we can die.” She answered honestly, unfortunately not knowing that she was opening herself up to a night full of insanity.
Her eyes widened in alarm as an slightly devilish smile graced the face of her sister in everything but blood and before she could blink blackness engulfed her.
It could have been seconds, minutes or days for all she knew as she came too. It didn’t’ take her long to realize what had happened and she jumped up quickly, glaring at Faith. “What the hell!?” She asked, wondering about the brunette’s mental state. “You decided to snap my neck to test the theory?!” She asked, not at all happy with Faith’s idea. “You have completely lost your mind.”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - The fact that they didn't see eye-to-eye about this shouldn't have surprised her. Honestly the two of them rarely seen eye-to-eye about anything, rarely ever had. It'd been one of the things that had set them apart in the beginning. Even though they now got along a hell of a lot better, they still disagreed on certain things. Clearly this was going to be one of those things, and Faith could definitely see why. With a nod of her head, she looked to the blonde. "Guess it doesn't bother me because I don't have anything to lose" she said simply, her tone flat. It didn't upset her anymore that she didn't have family or friends really. Sure she had the scooby gang, but really, those were Buffy's friends, not hers.
Back in Sunnydale a part of her had always been jealous of all the people in Buffy's lives. Jealous of her mother, her friends, her watcher, hell even her boyfriend. Eventually she'd just come to realize that maybe she wasn't cut out for that kind of life. For the most part she wasn't really a team player of sorts. She didn't play well with others and that had always shown. It was more apparent now when faced with something like this, but it'd always been that way. She'd gotten over it, she'd stopped trying, and she'd stopped being jealous. Eventually she'd just had to accept it and move on.
Watching the blonde slump to the side lifeless, she felt a pang of concern, hoping she'd actually come back. After all Buffy hadn't been one hundred percent confident in that fact and she hoped to god she hadn't just killed her sister slayer. However after a couple of moments the blonde rose again and she found herself to be quite relieved. "Yep, and it actually worked" she said, pausing to think. "That's legit as hell" the brunette stated, the devilish grin returning to her pretty features. A gleam of sparkle came into her eyes as she realized she still had her knife on her. Retrieving it she held it in her hand, raising it so that the blonde could see it. "Can I cut off a limb? Maybe just a hand? C'mon, let's see if it works" she said with a smirk, moving closer to the blonde. If they were going to continue to fight evil knowing they were immortal, they should at least know their limits. Plus she felt pretty confident in the fact that if Buffy's hand didn't like, come back, that Willow could do a spell to fix it. What better way to find out their limits than to test them on each other? It seemed perfectly logical to her, and she was more than willing to let Buffy test the theory on herself as well. In her mind...this was going to be fun. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She couldn’t believe the sardonic grin on her sister slayer’s face. She should have known that she would want to test the theory and unfortunately a small part of her couldn’t blame her. She was interested to see how far this would go and exactly what would happen if something went down but at the same time she was deathly afraid (no pun intended) of what would happen if they went too far. Was there a moratorium on how many times they could ‘come back to life’ before they simply stayed dead? Who would she ask if that was the case?
Okay realistically she knew that there were many questions that she hadn’t asked that she should have, however she was in shock when meeting the oracles and they were the ones who sent her back without answering all the questions that for higher beings they didn’t seem to know that she needed answers to. She mentally kicked herself for not asking more questions and for also not thinking things through before she told Faith…she really needed to stop getting lost in her head…it only ended up badly for her as well as for everyone else around her it seemed.
Glaring at the brunette she shook her head. “No Faith you cannot cut off one of my limbs!” She told her loudly before wincing as she saw a flock of birds fly into the air, having apparently disturbed them from their rest by her loud exclamation. “Not happening. Sorry.” She told her with a glare.
“Besides, just because we know that I can come back to life doesn’t mean we know that you can. I mean we’ve seen be pop back up how many times now? You’ve never had the uh…pleasure of it so how about we fix that.” She told her, taking the knife from behind her, a very familiar knife at that and stabbing Faith in the heart before removing it, smirking as she watched her sister slayer fall. Okay, this was slightly poetic since that was what she had tried to do several years before hand to save Angel and Faith had jumped off a roof. Granted she had stabbed her in the stomach, not the heart, but still, same thing in her mind at the moment. She wasn’t sure why this was entertaining either one of them however for some sick reason she was highly amused by this.
God they both needed help.
She started at her sister slayer for a moment before looking around, checking their whereabouts. This was probably not the best place to do this being that at anytime someone could walk up and see that she was essentially standing over a dead body. She really didn’t want to have to go to jail. She could most likely break out but didn’t want to take that risk. She figured once Faith woke up she would mention that they push a nix in the plans until they got back to the boarding house. At least there no one would see the blood (unless someone walked in on them) nor would they see a dead body and call the cops.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - A frown crossed the brunette’s pretty features as Buffy declined her suggestion. ”Oh c’mon, pull the stick outta your ass” she said, her voice pleading. How the blonde chose to ignore the fun that they could be having she hadn’t a clue. It was liberating to know that they couldn’t die. After all that they’d been through it seemed to Faith that they deserved this. Both of them had risked their lives so many times for others, Buffy more so, but still. Somehow she needed to make the other slayer see the good in this situation. She wasn’t sure how but she needed to. The grass was always greener on the other side, right? Sounded lame but it was totally true. Now she just needed to find that other side.
Through heavy lashes she lifted her eyes to watch the flock of birds fly above them, scattering about having been scared by the blonde slayer’s loudness. Birds gave her the chills…For some reason she always took it as a bad sign to see that many birds together. Nonetheless she shrugged off the thoughts and turned back to Buffy. Narrowing in her eyes she simply sighed. ”Whatever you say, fun-police” she told her, lowering her knife back down to her lay at her side. As the other slayer started lecturing her on the fact that they didn’t know much about this whole situation, she used her free hand to clamp open and shut as if mocking the slayer for talking. Faith hadn’t ever been that great at listening. Plus she was feeling pretty amped right now after what she’d been told, not to mention the battle they’d all been included in only a little while ago. One of her eyebrows quirked upwards and she looked at Buffy quizzically as she stated that they needed to change that. Before she’d had the chance to say anything, or move out of the way, she watched as Buffy removed a very familiar looking knife from behind her back. Dark brown eyes shifted downwards to look at the knife that had been plunged through her heart. Looking back to Buffy, she slumped to the ground, both of her hands holding the knife. It took a couple minutes of agonizing pain before she’d actually slipped away. For a moment it was only darkness….And then, it was Buffy, standing above her. ”Bitch” she said simply. Raising her hands to the knife she braced herself and pulled it out of her chest with a loud groan, mumbling a couple of curse words as she kept the knife in her hand. Without even hesitating she rolled over onto her side and slashed the knife out, successfully cutting right through the other slayer’s leg and watching as it fell to the ground. ”At least snapping your neck was quick. That shit fucking hurt” she said, pulling herself to the ground. Looking down to her ripped and bloodied up shirt, she groaned. ”And I liked this shirt” she said, shaking her head. Looking back to the other slayer struggling on her one leg she couldn’t help but laugh. ”C’mon B, hop on over here and kick my ass” she said with a smirk, crossing her arms over her chest, knife still in hand. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Alright, she was going to kill her sister slayer. “FUCK!” She yelled out, trying to stifle the scream of pain but unfortunately not being able to do so. “Jesus Faith! What the fuck?!” She yelled. She leaned down and picked up her leg so to speak and simply looked at it. Surprisingly there was blood but not as much as she thought and she wasn’t sure exactly how to go about reattaching her leg. “I swear to god Faith if I am forever without a leg I will find a way to murder your dumb ass.” She told her, noting that she was using much more profanity than she was used to but not caring in the slightest.
Positioning her leg by the stump of what had been her leg she was amazed to see the damn thing essentially reattach itself. She wasn’t sure exactly how that had happened and truly had no desire to repeat the process she was grateful that she was again with two legs. “Alright, we are calling a truce little sister.” She told her with a glare. “We are asking to get our asses caught by either some random person or a cop and in case you’ve forgotten…your still a wanted criminal.” She told her, throwing her hands up in a sign of truce.
“Let’s go back to the boarding house.” She stated, nodding to the way. She wasn’t stupid, she knew that Faith would in no way allow her to follow the brunette simply because she didn’t trust her. So unfortunately that meant the blonde slayer had to take the initiative and turn her back on the other slayer, something she really didn’t want to do. However at least if nothing else she knew that the thought of her getting sent back to jail would hopefully keep her from doing anything until they got back to the safety and comfort of the boarding house.
Then again a small part of her really didn’t want to walk back into the house for a couple different reasons. She really didn’t want to explain why they were both covered in blood. She really didn’t want to talk about what was going on and what had happened when she had been supposedly dead, and she really didn’t want to continue to stab or kill Faith…though if she touched her again she might take the brat in pieces and let her reattach herself limb by limb.
Would be interesting either way.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Barely able to stifle her laughter she couldn't help but grin watching the blonde stumble around on one leg. Maybe she should have thought that through better but hell, she'd been pissed. Plus Faith wasn't much of a thinker nor was she a planner. However she would end up feeling pretty bad if Buffy's leg never grew back...Yeah that would definitely end up sucking. "Guess I hadn't really thought that through" the slayer said, dark eyes looking down to the bleeding limb once again. It was slightly hilarious...and yet made her kind of nervous as well. How did this all work? "So what, you gonna grow a new one now? How does this shit work, B, you're the one who got to hear the story" she asked, watching Buffy retrieve her leg from the ground. She'd ignored her death threat simply because it wasn't daunting anymore. Not that she believed Buffy could actually do it. Even if she could have in the past though, neither of them could be killed now. If Faith had been reckless beforehand...Well, this would certainly only make it worse. The brunette was already envisioning all the shit she could and kill. Knife in hand, she rolled over onto her stomach once again and got into a push-up position. Pushing up, she pulled herself to her feet. As the blonde fiddled around with her leg Faith focused on her own wound. Lifting her shirt up to reveal her bra, she studied where she'd been stabbed. It'd already started to heal. "Do we heal faster? Or am I just seein' shit?" she asked, confusedly at that. Looking back up she spotted Buffy reattaching her limb just in time. Her eyes widened and she pulled her shirt back down. "That's pretty badass. Chop off my hand" she said, holding out the knife, a slightly psychotic grin on her face. It was almost scary how much fun she was having with this... Faith rolled her eyes exaggeratedly. "Who you callin' little? I'm a year older than you and a head taller, even in those ugly hooker heels you got goin'" she said, nodding towards the other slayers boots. Absolutely hideous. They were plain black, rounded, and velvet. Couldn't get much uglier than that. Faith was sporting her signature combat boots as she always did. Not only hotter, but made her look like a total bad ass too. "True" she said, referring to the criminal statement. "Fine. But when we get back, I'm setting your ass on fire. No ifs, ands, or buts" she said, winking to her as she got in line behind her. Buffy had known better than to try and get behind her, as that wouldn't have gone well. She contemplated attacking the blonde again because she'd truly been having fun, but decided against it. Being immortal in prison wouldn't do her much good. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She rolled her eyes while glaring at the brunette slayer when she stated that she hadn’t thought this through. One of these days she thought viciously as she promised revenge in her mind towards her sister slayer. She was more thankful than she could possibly imagine that her leg had reattached itself but then she heard Faith’s question and furrowed her brows. “Uh…I don’t know. Maybe only if we lose a limb?” She asked, looking around before wincing as she took her knife and cut her hand. She watched as it slowly healed, not at all as quickly as her leg had. “Yeah, looks like we still heal fairly quickly but not as quick as my leg. See, still a mark. Not bleeding out right or anything but still a mark.” She stated with a shrug.
Hearing Faith tell her to chop off her hand she smirked. “When we get home dear.” She told her with a posh sounding tone, almost as if she was a fifties housewife answering her husband on when dinner had arrived. Dropping the tone she looked around again. “I don’t want to take the chance of someone seeing us. I really don’t want to have to bust your ass out of jail nor do I want to have to move. So behave yourself for a few more minutes until we get home and then I will chop off your head if you’d like me too.” She told her before shooting her a glare. “Something you will not be doing to me.”
“Shut up about my height. It’s not my fault that I’m short. Besides, I may be short but I can still kick your ass so shush.” She told her with a smile, actually enjoying their bantering though she’d never admit it to anyone else. She found being with the other slayer comforting sometimes which was strange since Faith was one of the least emotional people that she knew. Most of her friends would be there if she cried, if she needed a hug, any of that. However with Faith she’d tell her to suck it up and deal with it, and there were times in which that was exactly what she needed to hear.
“Besides, my boots aren’t ugly.” She told her while looking down at her boots. Okay, they weren’t the cutest things in the world but they were damn comfortable and worked well for kicking some vampire ass. She had impaled more than one vampire with the spike of her boots so these were half the time what she wore to slay. Most would wear tennis shoes but nope, she was a rebel. Or at least as rebellious as anyone could look while Faith was standing with them.
Sighing in what seemed like reluctant acceptance she shook her head. “At least have a fire extinguisher when you do set me on fire that way in case the fire gets out of hand you can put it out. Don’t want to burn the house down…I highly doubt anyone would be happy about that.”
Arriving at the boarding house she headed to the door, walking in and seeing Willow, Angel, and a few others sitting in the living room. Well, Willow was sitting, Angel was just walking in from the kitchen so she doubted he would be staying in the living room. “Uhh…hi guys.” She told them with a grin, knowing that she and Faith looked like they had gone twelve rounds in battle with someone when in reality it was with each other. “What’s up?”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Disturbingly so, the brunette’s eyes lit up at the thought of chopping each other’s heads off. It was certainly tempting but she couldn’t help wondering if she’d be able to stomach it or not. She’d chopped off a lot of heads in her time but Buffy’s? It wasn’t something she’d ever imagining doing and she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to pull that trigger when it came down to it. Nonetheless they would certainly find some other form of entertainment to keep the two busy tonight. ”That’s what you think…” she muttered underneath her breath, following behind the blonde and heading back towards town. Richmond was definitely bigger than Sunnydale had been but luckily they’d gone to the closest cemetery to the boarding house. Usually it took about fifteen minutes to walk between the two.
Cutting her eyes to the back of the blonde’s head she glared at her, as if she could see right through that blonde hair. ”You wish, blondie” she said in a menacing tone. The last time the two had really fought had been years ago. They’d thrown around a couple punches since then but hadn’t had an actual brawl. It’d crossed her mind if she could take the more experienced slayer nowadays but she hadn’t ever put it to the test. Perhaps they would now that they knew they couldn’t fatally wound each other. She’d make sure to bring that up one of these days…Their newfound immortality would also really help with training the new slayers. While it might freak them out at first, it’d give them the opportunity to really go all out. Things were definitely looking up. Or at least they were for Faith, Buffy still didn’t seem too keen on the idea.
”They’re ugly, B. Let’s face it…you’re sense of fashion has always been that of a twelve year old girl, or an old woman. No one judges you for it though” she said with a mocking laugh. The difference in clothing had always greatly differed between the two. Faith tended to wear more provocative, simple clothing while Buffy tended to dress more mature. Faith however wouldn’t ever step a foot out of the house in those boots. She much preferred her simple black combat boots which she wore nine times out of ten when going anywhere. They were comfortable, sturdy, and worked great for kicking heads in. A simple laugh was the only way she responded to the comment about the fire extinguisher. After a few moments they finally reached the boarding house. To her it’d seemed like it’d taken longer than usual. Of course, that could just have been because she’d been excited to get back. There was nothing more that Faith liked than fighting, drinking, and sex. If she could do one of those things…well she got excited, and she fully intended to at least injure the blonde again if not kill her once more. Stepping through the door she made no attempt to remove her shoes. Their clothes were in tatters, blood was everywhere, and where she’d been stabbed in the heart shone through revealing her bra. They looked like shit. With a simple nod to the group, she attempted to bypass them completely. Before she could a muscular arm shot out in front of her and blocked her path. ”What happened to you guys?” the vampire asked, eyes wide. Faith rolled her eyes at him and then shot over to look at Buffy, unsure if she should tell him the truth or not. ”You don’t wanna know” she said simply, before ducking underneath his arm. Next she grabbed Buffy by hers, and high tailed it downstairs. Situation averted. Unless of course, the vampire followed them…Hopefully he didn’t, it’d be too difficult to explain and he would give them his disapproving look. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She rolled her eyes once again at the brunette. One of these days her eyes were going to get stuck in that position from all the times that she had to do said rolling of her eyes towards her friends. “At least I look like a twelve year old girl than a slut or a wannabe rebel.” She shot her with a grin, letting her know that she was just kidding. Well, she was sort of just kidding. She could still remember when Faith had dressed her body up in slutty clothing and had slept with Riley, something that while she had gotten over a long time ago she had never forgotten.
She barely said anything else as they walked inside, though she wasn’t surprised when Willow looked at her in alarm. Oh my god. What happened. She shook her head, sending the red head a look letting her know that in no circumstances would she tell her at the moment. She might explain later once the whole immortality thing came to be known but until then it would be a kept secret between she and Faith…or at least she hoped so. She didn’t want to explain the immortality stand point which meant that if she told them that she and Faith had spent the past couple of hours quite literally killing one another than that would come out and she wasn’t ready for that conversation.
Hearing Angel’s voice she was surprised to see that he stopped Faith and not her but didn’t let it get to her. Keeping her head down she was surprised to hear Faith tell him that he didn’t want to know. She had been waiting for Faith to pull some stuff like ‘look what we learned!’ and stab a knife into her back or something. She had a feeling had everyone been aware of their new immortal status that her sister slayer would have done just that but either way she was grateful that she didn’t. She would of course tell Angel one day but that day wasn’t today for she knew what he would say. He would ask her how she felt about it and when she tried to say that she was fine he would call her out on her lies and then she would break down and tell him all of the reasons that this bothered her. How she would have to watch her friends, her sister and her mentor die one day and she would continue to live on…something that she had never even considered since she always knew she would die young.
Feeling a grip on her arm she followed the brunette downstairs, surprised that this was where she was heading. “You know he could easily follow us since technically he does live down here.” She muttered though knew it would do no good. She herself wanted nothing more than to go curl up in a hot bath and relax for awhile, however she had a feeling that Faith wasn’t going to let her get away with that. She was having way too much fun and while her type of fun was a bit morbid, she’d admit to not seeing her smile like this very often. So she figured a few deaths at her expense would be enough to entertain her for awhile…though she was drawing the line at getting beheaded. She really didn’t want to deal with that…nor did she want to take the chance of Angel coming downstairs while her body was on one side of the room and her head on the other. She doubted she’d have time to be reassembled before he took Faith apart in the same way.
That would be interesting to say the least. Two immortal slayers, both taken apart and not put back together. One by the other immortal slayer and one by an ensouled vampire. Hmm…that sounds like the start of a damn television show. Or the end of one. Shaking her head she turned back to her sister slayer. "Alright, let's have at it so I can go take a bath." She told her with a teasing grin.
Hearing a noise from upstairs she groaned. "Guess this will have to wait." She stated before bolting upstairs in time to break up a fight between two of the girls. After that was done she quickly headed upstairs to take a bath, needing to destress after today's events.
