------------------------ [/b]  ------------------------[/b] The sun was out high and proud in the sky and Kol had been on the prowl. The park wasn't even full of people like it should be probably because people were in school or something and others were at work. His last chatter was with a demon named Ruby who Kol didn't seem to have a problem with he would follow her plan for now. Kol had gotten bored back at the hotel and decided to head out. He had been curious about these hunters that Ruby spoke of and had been hunting them for awhile now.
Kol caught their scent from Ruby or so one of them at least. He had a lot of miles on him and knew how to track well after all his father was an Original who was also a hunter. Kol stayed clear of his father for good reason he was scared of the man he made Kol what he was today. Walking along the cement sidewalk that went inside the park Kol stopped to see two middle aged or so young men standing having a little chit chat among themselves. One of them had the scent Kol was looking for and Kol had taken out his phone dialing Ruby's number.
Hearing the phone dial it went straight to her voice-mail and Kol took an unnecessary breath. "Well my favorite demon, it seems I have found your hunter...I'm at the park in Richmond why don't you join me now love." He said then hung up his phone watching the two carefully at a distance waiting for his demon friend to get here. Kol was going to have fun with these two although, one looked rather familiar from Katerina's point of view of her new lover. Kol wanted to know how these two handled themselves. Kol hated hunters for many good reasons.
This day wasn't going to be good for the two they would be surprised that a vampire walking in the daylight or so one over a thousand years of age was hunting them. Kol had his normal attire on a long sleeved tight shirt that was like a dark beige colored, dark blue jeans, and high toned boots with a somewhat green like man coat that he then placed his hands on the pockets watching the two waiting for the right moment to strike. Where was Ruby? He had the two she was looking for in plain sight. Kol was then debating which one to snack on before killing. He would play the patient man for now.

---------------------- [/color]  ----------------------[/color] Ruby was on at her motel room after having n interesting run in with someone one, but that was Ruby for you never a dull moment in her life. She didn’t mind she liked it that way, other wise she would get board was to quick. As she was standing there her cell phone being to ring, she hurried out of the bathroom after taking a shower trying to get the phone. She wondered who the hell would be even calling her. So she picked it up and begin to grow a big smile on her face, it was Kol calling her after all this time. She knew that he had to have missed her after there wild night run in, which Ruby cant lie she enjoyed it herself. Getting to walk in and see him kill those people like that, blood all over the room. It was a beautiful site to see that she would mind seeing again, just hopefully it would happen to Sam and Dean some time soon.
The demon grew angry missing the phone call, if she didn’t have to wash this damn meat suit she would have gotten to it. But unfortunately humans are easily prone to dirt, such gross things they make her sick. She begin to listen to what the message that he had left for her, it seemed as though he had found the two hunters. Which excitement she begin to quickly text him back, not long after that he sent her a picture showing that they really were there. Ruby knew that she had to get there and fast, she didn’t want to miss them at the park they had them right were they wanted them after all this time. The demon quickly begin to get ready putting on her best dress, she wanted to look good seeing Sam Winchester after all this time. She knew that when he saw her after all this time dressed like this, it was going to be torture.
She was ready and really didn’t want to miss them and be late, she had a pick and knew exactly where Kol was. So she figured it might just be best to teleport herself right where they were, it be a lot faster. So after she was all ready she moved herself right where Kol was standing, she appeared right in front of him. “Hello there, been awhile.” She said giving him a smile. “So where are they and what the game plan?” The demon asked getting right to the point.

 Sometimes a walk in the park was just what the doctor ordered. Of course, there had been no doctors referenced when it came to this decision. More over, it was a hit that he got on a tip that he had put out onto the web. Nothing much, really, something that was barely even worth mentioning, as far as supernatural activity had been concerned. But it was an excuse to get out of the motel room, and enjoy what was turning out to be a rather mild afternoon, hunting and weather wise.
Sam could still feel the ever constant, dull ache of the cut in his hand. It was a good thing that he had decent motor control in both of his hands, otherwise he might be up Shit's Creek. Still what Dean had said made sense to the logical part of his brain. Making sense of what was real and what was not was becoming a battle in sanity. At that thought alone he scoffed. What made him think he had any sanity left to battle for? He was seeing Him. He was starting to see Him in the strangest of places, right where Sam shouldn't be expecting to. Didn't that lend credence to the “this is reality” argument? But if that was the case, what did He want? What was He trying to prove?
That wherever he went, whatever he tried to do, it would not be good enough? How many times would he and his brother have to die, go to Hell, come back, and go through it all again before someone decided that “yeah, that's enough, let's end this thing”? Would it ever be enough? Probably not. That was just the way it was, though, right? Nothing depressing or pragmatic about it. It was not as if Sam was going to going into the woods, building a shack out of sticks to live in, and sustain the rest of his existence on thistles. He would keep on fighting, because there were people out there that were worth keeping safe. There were people out there worth living for...
...provided that he could keep his head on straight.
He had called Dean a while ago under the pretense that there might be a lead maybe at the park. Really, Sam wasn't looking too deep. This was more or less an excuse to get Dean out, away from work, away from all of this time away that he seemed to need, and get down to them being brothers. They needed it..

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Dean had gotten a call from Sam, he was suppose to be meeting Sam at Richmond park, he wasn’t sure why or what for but he was pretty sure it was a lead for a case. Lately that’s all that have been doing, saving people hunting things, what else was new really. It had occur to Dean that him and Sam had not really spent some quality bro time together, so maybe this hanging out in the park could be just what they needed. Drinking a beer along with Fresh air, it was just what they could use.
After Dean was all ready to go he made his way to the Impala, he got in taking off fast along with Ac/dc Playing as always. Of course Dean wouldn’t have his music any other way, he loved the old stuff just like his dad did. He knew that at times his music did drive Sam up the wall, it was a bit hard for his taste in music. But that was one of the many things he puts up with for Dean, which was why he knew he needed to spend some good quality time with Sam. He always there for Dean when he needs him and lately he has been kind of distant. Its just all the hunting stress had really gotten to him recently. Which was why a day of fresh air and no Drama will do them both some good.
Dean had finally made it to the park and as he was pulling in, he could all ready see Sam sitting there at the bench. So Dean parked the Impala and got out. He wave over to Sam before walked to the back of the trunk to get out there little green cooler, which had some beers and sandwiches all ready to go. He then shut the trunk and made his way over to Sam. “Hey Sammy what’s up? I brought the cooler with me, I though we could drink some beer and have some lunch like old times. You know while we go over the case we have.” He said with a smile. He wasn’t to worried about the case though, right now was all about chilling out with his baby brother.

------------------------ [/b] ------------------------[/b] Kol was being patient not that he usually was he just wanted to wait for his demon friend. He had the two hunters in sight but, before he would approach them he would study them but, he figured to play with them first before attacking them. The Original had been dying for a kill or a little torture since he couldn't do so with his own brothers. He would with Elijah if he wasn't all sentimental and cared for human life, Finn hated his vampire life and could not harm humans, and Niklaus was all about creating his hybrids to prove some point. All he did have left was his baby sister Rebekah but, she was more on Klaus's side then anyone's. Kol then found Ruby or so she found him and he decided to tag along in her charade for now. An Original working with a demon may be temporary or not.
Kol watched as they both seemed to have a quick break and it wasn't like they knew he was there Kol was a bit sneaky on the matter given he was over a thousand years old and had plenty of experience. Kol was starting to get thirsty and the last time he did have a snack was when he approached that slayer a few days back feeding off a little teenage girl, their weren't any blood bags around so he went with the normal feeding. It didn't take long when he heard his demon friend speak and Kol only gave a slight smile to her. It had appeared that compulsion did not work on her because she was in a soulless vessel and Kol got that immediately. But, he would love to use it on these champs or hunters turn one brother against another was going to be fun. "Indeed it has been...Ruby." He said still facing forward looking at the two. "My plan is to let myself be known to them. Once I do that I trust you will enter the picture while I have at the older brother leaving Sam to you." He said thinking of his plan in his head.
After telling Ruby of his small rather quick plan he started to walk forward listening into one of the brothers conversations. Kol slowly walked forward more taking in their scents from where he was. He hoped Ruby would slowly follow behind him. His father Mikael was an Original as well as a hunter he knew how they thought or what they had planned. Kol would not go in blind. Taking a look around the Original then with his speed ended up next to the two with a grin on his face getting his plan started. "Excuse me lads I'm looking for two brothers they claim to be hunters go by the name Winchester?" Kol said tilting his head looking at the both of them. Kol didn't attack yet he wanted to see how they reacted. His accent of old times should maybe be something different. He only hoped Ruby was behind him to form her own greeting.

---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] The demon was so happy she couldn’t help but keep smiling, she knew this was going to be a blast messing with theses two boys. It was something she had been yearning for a long time, finally Dean Winchester getting what has been coming to him. But what she was looking forward to more then anything was seeing Sam after all this time, coming face to face with him finally. She still had not seen him since that night, the night that she tired to give him all the power he could have ever wanted. Sam was dumb for not realizing how much power he could have had, how much Lucifer was going to welcome them for all they had done. He is dumb for not wanting it, all that work Ruby had put in to him ruined.
It seemed like he had this whole thing all planed out, Which she knew he would Kol is good with this kind of thing. Ruby was just going to stand on the sideline till it was time to show up. Which was smart she knew that if the saw her right away then they would just run off. And they should because right now Ruby is one pissed off demon bitch who cant wait to fuck there world up. “Ok sounds like a great plan to me, I will show up soon after you do.” She said smiling still in excitement.
Ruby watched the original make his way over to them, she knew they were not going to be happy campers after they were done with them. It was funny how a day when they are just try to take a break, to people come to fuck it up for them. Theses boys really cant get a break, misery was the only thing in the cards for them. Ruby knew it was time so she begin to make her way over to them. She got real close on Kol putting his arm around him. “Well well boys I see you have met my friend Kol here, I would make him mad if I were you. Would be to smart on your park.” She then let go of Kol now putting her hands on the table looking at Dean “Well Dean we meet again.” She then looked over at the youngest Winchester. “and Sam long time no see. I have missed you and I’m real sure you have missed me too, I’m I wrong?” She said with an evil like smirk.

This was actually kind of perfect. Dean showing up, and offering to have them have an impromptu bro-picnic in the park was exactly what Sam was hoping would happen. The amount of downtime they had was no minute these days, they had no time to catch up on anything about their personal lives. For the first time in a long time, their personal lives were taking them on different paths, and Sam wanted to be sure that those paths ran next to each other, not away. Dean was seeing Caroline, now, and Sam realized that he knew nothing about the girl other than Katherine, the girl Sam was seeing had a hand in making her. It made for this slightly strange (though Sam should have expected it) familial rectangle that had the younger brother dating the pseudo-mother of the girl that the older brother was dating.
Someone call the supernatural Montel Williams...
He had so many questions about Caroline. She had to be something special to get Dean to date her, especially with her being a vampire. Sam knew he excuse. He had a tendency to sway more paranormal with the girls that floated his boat. Hell, even Jessica, the last "mundane" girl he really dated, ended up turning into an angel! Dean, on the other hand, had a hard time trusting supernatural creatures, much less dating them. He was usually a humans only kinda guy. Why the change of heart?
"I have to be honest with you, Dean... There is no real case out here. I just really wanted to get a chance to talk with you, and this seemed like the only way to get you to-" Sam started to say, before they were approached by a stranger. The man spoke to them, asking them if they knew about the Winchester brothers. At first, Sam was not really put off by this. As far as the hunter community went, the Winchester family were kind of celebrities, coming from a long line of hunters on their mother's side, and having a father that was notorious in his own right. If this man was a hunter, or knew about the supernatural, there was a chance he was looking to contact them for a job. There was also the possibility that he was some sort of enemy... Ah, the dual sided coin that was notoriety.
Sam was about to say something to the stranger, owning up them being who he was looking for, friend of foe, when a sore sight for eyes made herself known. Ruby. It was goddamned Ruby. Sam knew that this had been a long time coming now. He just hoped that he wouldn't be taken surprise by any of it. With Becky's warning, Cas saying that he had seen the "hell bitch", and Dean mentioning that they had even crossed paths while Sam was soulless (and therefore, during a time Sam had no recollection of,) he should have been more prepared. He should have been proactive. Instead, he was caught with his pants down.
Sam could not have scowled deeper if he tried. A part of him didn't want to give her the satisfaction of an emotional response. All he wanted to do right now is show just how much she didn't matter to him anymore, but the truth was, she had mattered once. A lot. He hesitated to use certain "L" words, but that was in the afterglow of her betrayal, a betrayal he would never forgive her for. Sam held her back while Dean stabbed her clean through with her own knife. And he would do it again. In a heartbeat.
As that evil smirk played across her lips, Sam found that dark spot inside of him, that cold place that he went to, where he just didn't feel anything. It wasn't the soul of sociopath, but he honestly was not that far off, achieving the ability to disassociate himself from whatever feelings of pain that Ruby brought up in him. He returned her smirk with a cold smile of his own. "Honestly, Ruby, I've been just ducky without out. Helping to kill you had that effect on me. Very therapeutic."
He didn't want to be dumb and forget about this "Kol" person that Ruby had with her. Who was he? Some other demon? A fellow witch friend of hers? Whoever he was, he was not someone to be ignored, but Sam could not afford to divide his focus. He trust Dean would have his back on that one...

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - He was happy to hear that Sam wanted him there so they could talk, because that was the same thing he wanted. He didn’t care if there was a case at hand right now, what he cared about was getting to have a long needed chat with his brother. Something they have not done in a while. He wanted to know what Sam had been up to, what was going on with him, and he if he was ok. It had been a long while that he had even spoke of hell even, so he didn’t know if deep down he truly was doing ok of not. Was he still dealing with hell? Were the dreams still there? Was he in pain? Dean had no idea how he been feeling, and he wanted to know what was up with him and Katherine. They seemed really close at the Bonfire. “Well I’m happy to hear that man, I was hoping we could just chill and talk.” He said opening a beer. “You know just like back in the day when we just chill.”
Then all the sudden as they were sitting there a strange man had made his way over to there table, Dean had never saw the guy before in his life but he knew he couldn’t be good. Dean though it was strange that the man acted like he had knew them, which wasn’t good either someone had to of sent him. He just had that look on his face like he was going top start shit, which wasn’t really what they needed right now.
But then shortly after he showed came the blackeyed bitch, the last person that he really wanted to see. He knew why she was here because she was trying to fuck with Sam, which wasn’t going to happen Dean wasn’t going to let her. It looked like tonight he was going to be icing a fucking demon. “Well it looks like we do meet again, I guess that means I get toy kill you bitch! But its what you get for all you have done to the people I love. Messing with Sam, fucking with me, and trying to kill Maddie. I hope you have your tombstone ready!” He said screaming at the demon.
He knew Sam was done with her to for all she had done to him, after all she was the reason he had done what he did in the first place. Opening hell bring fourth the devil, It was her fault for all that had happed to Sam. Dean chimed in shortly after Sam had answered the bitch. “See he has not missed you one bit, so why don’t you back the fuck off my brother if you know what is good for you.!” Dean said getting up in the demons face, ready to take her on. He was not going to let her mess with his brother again, it wasn’t happing, not on his watch. No one mess with Dean Winchesters Brother, that is in less its Dean.

------------------------ [/b] ------------------------[/b] Kol would help out to a certain point he got bored very easily but, he had heard of the name Sam Winchester through Katerina Petrova he was just unsure if this was the exact man or whatever. He stood there when the demon arrived and he didn't even flinch. The vampire would be glad to cause some chaos while he was here. He minded Ruby because she was a bit of evil as he was but, he still had his own limits his own plans that he liked to keep to himself. Yes, an Original working with a demon but, it was only for a short time.
After listening to Ruby Kol nodded his head and was over to the two hunters in a swift moment. After Kol spoke to them the two didn't even bother to answer back which was a bit insulting to the Original. But, his irritation was interrupted when his demon friend arrived not far after and Kol just remained quiet at the moment. He was not a demon, witch, or another hunter but, he would be these two boys most feared enemy. Kol was an Original that could only be killed with one thing and he and his family burned down not long after they were created into being the very first of all vampires. Kol would let Ruby do her bidding at first but, he would not harm the tall one only because he had Katerina's scent all over him and he was very fond of Katerina or so Katherine Pierce now.
They both seemed to talk to Ruby and Kol then looked towards the older brother giving him a very evil grin and when he walked to stand to Ruby's face Kol with his quick movements grabbed the hunter who threatened Ruby more and held him in the air. "Clearly you don't know what's best for you. Hunters only remind me of my father and I hated the man." He said feeling the hunter underneath his hands as his face then began to change his irises turned blood red, veins popped from under his eyes, and then Kol bared his teeth and he made sure that the other hunter saw his face clearly as well. Kol tightened his grip but, then his moods suddenly changed when he then looked at Ruby and dropped the hunter from his hands his face changing back to normal.
"On second thought..Ruby darling it appears plans have changed..." He said then gave a smirk towards Ruby then looked at Sam. "See love when you said hunters I thought it would be some who were a match to me. But, I know this tall hunter, he is with Katerina Petrova who is of importance to me." He said taking a deep breath as he then looked at both Sam and Ruby. He was still on Ruby's side on this most definitely but, Kol looked at the Petrova Doppelganger as a very dear friend of his and if she was with Sam then he was on the safe Kol list. "Names Kol, perhaps mentioning me to Katerina or as you call her Katherine would be so fortunate. She is dear to me hunter." He said going back to his usual daily attitude.
Kol then looked at the hunter who verbally attacked Ruby and still gave him a cold look. Kol would not be made a fool of and as he was still friends with Ruby he wanted to make an entrance. "Come now Ruby, I'm an Original vampire you didn't think I would follow you completely now did you." He said tilting his head to his precious friend. He had another plan built in mind but, these hunters had a lucky day today. Kol did though would give a fair warning to Sam as he did the same thing he did to the other one and lifted the tall one up. "Let this be a warning pet, if anything causes harm to Katerina dear hunter you will be the one I'm coming after." He said then letting him go as he walked over to Ruby moving her hair away from her chin. He waited for the next move as he was simply testing every part of this interaction.

---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] Ruby was dying to know what was going through Sam’s head right now, seeing her after all this time. The last they saw of each other was right before she was being sliced open by his brother, which to this day make’s Ruby wonder if he hated that happening to her at all. After all they never said it out loud but they were starting to feel something for each other, hell maybe even love. But with all Dean feeds in his brain she was sure he didn’t care or felt anything for her anymore, she was sure that was dead and gone long long ago.
She didn’t want to give Dean the light of day to what he was saying to her, it was nothing but shit all the same things she had heard over and over again. That he was going to kill her, get her for what she had done to Sam blah blah blah! She had hear this all so many times before, it really was getting old. “Well don’t hold your breath on killing me Dean, when I’m done here you are going to be the one that needs a tombstone.” She said with an evil like smile.
She really didn’t know what Sam was talking about, how killing her therapeutic. What they did, what she taught him with drinking her blood, now that was therapeutic. Which he cant say no other wise he is a liar if he does, if Ruby recalls him begging her for more demon blood for more power, what he loved to feel. She wonders when the last time was that he had felt that good, or felt anything for that matter. “Well I’m happy that killing me helped you Sam, even though I think you are full of shit. You and I both know how much power makes you truly feel who you are, make’s you in control, make you strong. So tell me when was the last time you felt that good not on the blood.”
She loved watching Kol grab the hunter scaring the hell out of him, Dean was dumb to try anything in the hands of him. Plus with him taking his father anger out on him couldn’t be a good thing right now. She didn’t like hearing that the plans have changed, it was the same thing that happened to Ruby the last time with Dean having Raphael go back on the deal.
She didn’t know who the hell this Katerine or Katherine was that he spoke of was but it was fucking up these plans which was pissing Ruby off, she knew that she would need to pay this girl a visit some time real soon. “Wait who the hell are you talking about, who the fuck is Katherine! Why is this messing up are plans what is so great about this bitch anyway?” Ruby said in anger. She didn’t like hearing that things weren’t going to go her way now, on top of that she didn’t like hearing Sam with someone new in his life.
She didn’t any of this at all it just proved you can trust anyone. “No I knew all of this wouldn’t go all my way. But I will tell you how dumb you are letting this guys walk away from here, Kol they will hunt you and find away to kill you till you are dead. and trust me when I tell you they will find away.” She said looking straight into Kol eyes letting him know she wasn’t lying. Ruby wasn’t listing to him she would do whatever she wanted to this vampire, nothing was going to stop her, Nothing!

Sam's initial reaction when the man who called himself Kol got physical with his brother was to get physical right back. When his eyes blossomed with angry blood, and the veins around his eyes became more pronounced, Sam pretty much knew exactly what was going on. He had seen Kat with those features enough time to put together that this guy was a vampire, and judging from the way he was flinging his powers cock around, a pretty formidable one. He also remembered what Kat had said about the older ones of her line... Something about Originals. Now, Sam had no way of telling if this man was one of them or not, but better to just assume the worse and live out the rest of the day.
What had started out as a very unfortunate turn of events had turned into something that was just outright confusing. Kol appeared to change his mind. Just like that! Sam knew more than most people just how fickle people could be, but this 180 almost had his head spinning. He was not about to pass up this opportunity. For now, the guy didn't want to kill them anymore, and it seemed to be a rare moment when he would be able to get a word in edgewise. To Kol, he was candid. "Listen, Kol, was it? You seem to care about Kat, so how about this for insurance? If I do anything bad to her, I will let you do something horrific to me, deal?" He resisted the urge to make any sort of meaningful eye contact, Kat's warnings ringing in his head.
When Dean started to get worked up about Ruby being there, Sam let him, though he allowed his own features to be the complete opposite. His face went cool and unaffected, letting Dean spew the fire that both of them were feeling, but not letting any emotion shows towards Ruby. Apathy. Ain't it a bitch?
Inside, though, he was a whirlwind of emotions, all of them raw, and dark. He could feel the press of a headache coming in behind his eyes, the tell-tale sign that he was on the verge of another mental episode... He couldn't let that happen. He couldn't show weakness in front of the black-eyed bitch who used him, who turned him into the shell of a man that he had become. Yes, she was right, the blood had been amazing. Sam had never felt so powerful in his entire life, never so sure that he was capable of world changing things, and never felt more addicted to anything in his life.
At this point in living, Sam looked back at that time like an addict would look at his dark years. Demon blood was his cocaine, and Ruby had been his dealer. Never mind the feelings that he had been developing her Ruby at the time. He was a wounded soul, afraid of love, and he had allowed himself to dream of opening himself up to someone after... how many years? Her response to that was to betray him, using him to kill Lilith, to break the Seals, and bring Lucifer to power, who, by the way, took Sam's body for a joy ride, eventually earning Sam a long term stay in the Pit. Seeing Ruby brought back that chain of events, the pain her her stabbing him in the back, and the hardships that he endured long after Dean spilled her blood.
He physically bit his tongue, the pain bringing him back from the precipice. The blood pounded through his head, threatening to crack his mind, and his vision. When she dared to open her mouth to threaten Dean, Sam saw red, his featured even more hollowed, just a glimpse breaking through of the cruelty and coldness that he was capable of when he didn't have his soul. If there was one thing that Sam was aware of it was that some men, whether they were soulless or not, were good men. Sam was not a good man without a conscience on his back, at least as far as his own opinion of himself was concerned...
"No," he said, his voice low, simple, and dark. "No, you don't get to talk to him. You don't get to talk to anyone associated with me anymore. But I know how thick your skull can be, so consider this a warning that I would not have to give you were you an intelligent person. Walk away. Don't come back. And if you so much as grace your shadow across my door again, you won't have the opportunity to do it a second time. You get me?"
When the topic of Katherine came up, he had to resist the urge to throttle Ruby in the face. Instead, he let a smile grace his lips, shoving all of the raw anger and heat into a grin that he hoped came off as emotionless. "Who's Katherine? I'll give you a hint. Not you. I know you just love the idea of me lamenting your death, lying in bed, pining for the loss of you, but the point is I didn't. I have Katherine, who is, frankly, nothing like you, and fills me with no desire to be with you again. How do those sour grapes taste, Ruby?"
He flicked a look over to Dean, showing him just how much he didn't care about this woman. She was nothing to him. Not anymore. Cut and be damned...

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean was getting sick of this bitch going on and on and on, it was all the same things they had heard time and time again. It was so obvious that she was obsessed with Sam, how she kept trying to find him, how she wouldn’t leave him alone. It seemed more like she obsessed with wanting him back then what happen with them putting Lucifer back in the cage, because really it only seemed like she cared if Dean was dead and not Sam. But she can hang it up because getting Sam is not happening, Dean will die trying to stop her first. No one is putting his baby brother through all that pain again. “ Yeah Ruby and how exactly are you planing on trying to kill me, because all the other times you tired didn’t exactly work out for ya.” He said back at her comment.
It seemed like this Kol guy all the sudden wasn’t going to let anything happen to them, it seemed that he knew Katherine. Which was all fine and dandy but still there was something about this guys plan that Dean didn’t like. He knew that later on Sam and him would need to contact Katherine and find out more on who the hell this guy was and if he could be trusted on his word. “Well you say that you aren’t going to do anything to us now because we know Katherine, but my question is how can me and Sam trust you? I mean look at who you are with, do you even know what this bitch did to us? If you were smart you kill her right where she stands.” Dean said to Kol. “Oh I’m Dean by the way, I’m Sam’s brother another one of Kat’s friends as well.” He didn’t want to get on this guys bad side even though he didn’t know if he could be trusted. After all he did know Kat, and Dean knew how much Sam cared about her. So he was going to go with whatever his brother though would be best.
Dean could tell that Ruby had finally gone to far, talking about Sam’s girl in that way. The blackeyed bitch had crossed a line that she wasn’t coming back from this time, Dean would be surprised if after all this Ruby walks away alive. He could tell that Sam was getting fed up just by the look he had given Dean, they both were sick of this bitch. It was time for her to feel some pain Winchester style!

------------------------ [/b] ------------------------[/b] The joy of having hunters at his hands and a demon who thinks Kol was on her side. He could sense the evil in Ruby however Kol could do better. Feeling the throat of this hunter beneath his hands felt great but, killing off his prey right away was never fun so yes he dropped him to the ground while he turned to the other who appeared to know Katerina. Ruby had spoke and Kol stayed quiet for the moment. It appeared the vampiress such as Katerina had a thing for brothers first Damon and Stefan Salvatore and now these two was quite clever of the girl.
The comments that came from the demon was intriguing but, Kol had not met the hunters beforehand after all he never heard of the brutes. He wanted to know what he was getting himself into and looked to Ruby with a frown on his face. "It appears darling they don't care much of your arrival why not let them beg for their lives and simply quit with the biting chatter to them love let them speak for their lives." He said standing in the middle of the two and looking at his demon friend who Kol was getting annoyed with real quickly.
The tall hunter then spoke and Kol just stood there and turned towards him and in fact he wanted to talk with him about Katerina. Kol knew about the doppelgangers and how they worked but Katherine was a vampire now she was still searched by Klaus and Kol would not have that happen. "Someone willing to give their life for one undead creature..." Kol said then looked to the side before looking back at him. "Horrific is not fun pet...I will rip out those eyes of yours and shove them down your throat so your insides will be visible." He said thinking this hunter was smart to make such an incredible deal that Kol would love to make with.
Of course, the other brother had to stand up and speak and Kol was getting annoyed real quickly. If only Rebekah was here she would enjoy them both as her pets to torture. But, Ruby called Katerina a fowl name and Kol got angry at that and of course, her words were truthful about them trying to find a way to kill him and Kol grabbed the demon and growled a little bit. "Mind your tone love, you forget darling I'm a lot older then you please don't tempt me." He said then letting Ruby go with a warning.
The brother spoke and looked at him with a grin on his face. The hunter had a very valuable point but, he was a true killer an Original who usually worked alone it wasn't hard to do the math. "Trust me or not but, if I wanted to kill you lads you would already be dead. I simply don't care of your problems with her. I cannot be killed no matter but, a word of advice pets, you kill an original vampire you kill all of our bloodline or so bye bye Katerina you see the problem with trying to kill me?" He said making a great point. Any vampire would die if in Kol's bloodline so if they tried to kill him Katerina may fall with him. He was waiting for one of them to make a move first and see who was worthy.

She was trying to pay attention to what was going on with Sam and Kol. “Dean I’m going to slit your throat now if you don’t shut it!” She said sounding annoyed. She didn’t even know why Kol was stating the obvious, she knew that they didn’t care for her hell they hated her. “I would like to make them beg for there lives right now my dear, but it sound like you need them for something and I really don’t feel like pissing you off.” She said with a smart ass like smile. It was true she knew not to mess with him, he was one you did not piss off.
She listing To Kol and Sam, it seemed like Sam was making deals with Kol. Who was this Katherine and what the hell was so great about her anyway? Ruby knew for sure now she would need to pay this girl a visit and have a nice long chat with her. It was eating at her to see what Sam saw in her. She had these feelings going through her head right now that was driving her crazy, it jealousy filled with hate that she knew here shortly was going to turn to rage. She looked over at Kol with a disgusted look on her face. “Oh great now you are making deals with them! What is she an ex girlfriend or something? What is it about this girl that you need? I‘m not trying to get attitude with you Kol I‘m just trying to get what is going on here” She asked the vampire hoping he wasn’t going to be mad with her she was just trying to get what was going on her the demon was lost, she really was starting to like him so getting on his bad side was not what she wanted.
She could tell that she pissed old Sammy boy off by the way his tone was getting with her. “You don’t have the right to talk to me that way, if it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t be half the person you are now! You know I don’t even get why you stick up for Dean anyway, he treats you like a piece of shit! He doesn’t trust you, he has never has faith in you, everything is always his way or the fucking highway, and he has doubted more time then I can count. Plus on top of that didn’t he lock you up like a dog? And I cant believe you treat me this way Sam, I was there when he wasn’t, I had faith in you when he didn’t, and I saved your ass more times then I can count.” She said yelling. It was the truth though there were times when Dean has down right treated him like hell, acted like Sam was just some thing were Ruby has never treated him like that. Sure she tricked him in to bring forth the devil, but it was to help me gain power to be something so much greater.
He then stared pushing this Katherine girl into her face, which really she could care less about. It sound like this girl was a vampire, which she was sure Dean wasn’t happy about hell he hated Ruby with a passion. “You know what I could care less about you and your little vampire, I just think that after me you have to get with someone like a vampire. What’s wrong Sam miss the rush of being with a demon, well you wont get that with her sorry to say.” She said with evil like smirk on her face.

Sam wondered how much of what Kol was saying was true. If he died, Kat died? It meant that he had to be related to Klaus somehow... It was the same warning Katherine had given him about killing Klaus. If he died, so did she, so it was just out of the question.
"I said don't talk to him that way!" Sam's anger was starting to reach a boiling point, the anger really just a shield for the other emotional upheaval he was going through. He was borderline to getting physical with her, having no qualms about "hitting a girl" since he knew exactly what this girl was capable of. The idea of Ruby slitting's Dean throat was an image that his all too imaginative brain could see clearly. For a moment, he was almost certain that it was happening, right in front of him...
{Ruby reached forward... She had her knife. How? How did she have her knife? Dean was keeping it away from her. Keeping it so that she would never have that part of her ever again... And she just reached out, and slit his throat , making good on her promise. Kol inhaled, and his features went dark, the same press of veins and blackness that he had seen Katherine's face before, but more masculine, more sinister... He lapped at Dean's blood as it poured from his throat, and Ruby just laughed, eye black at pitch, with Sam frozen solid in place, not being able to do anything to save his brother, his hero...}
He blinked, and it was gone. The image was gone. They were standing there, the four of them all dancing their merry social jig. No one was bleeding. Everyone still at least looked human, not giving up the game that there was more to them than what the eye showed. The stress was getting to him... It always got worse the more stressed he got, so, while he wanted to go off on Ruby violently and loudly, he didn't know how much of it his psyche could handle. He instinctively reached out to touch Dean's arm, a silent indication to him that it had happened... It had happened again, and Sam was not 100%... It forced him to listen to what Ruby was saying...
And in a way, she was right. In her own way, yeah, Dean had moments when he didn't trust Sam. He had moments when he treated him like Hell. Most recently, Dean had been spending a lot of time away from him, just getting out of the motel room to be away from Sam. But he remembered that look on his face when Sam was dying in his arms, the look he had when Sam had to be cast into the Pit. And he knew how he felt was Dean was gone for a year. Yeah, Ruby had been there, and Ruby had given him the strength to move on, even the power to claim the revenge he thirsted for. But things were not all right again until Dean was back.
"Yeah, well, Dean has been in my life a lot longer than you have, so we are bound to have our little problems. Brothers fight, Rub, but I am sure that is a connection that you are never going to understand." His words were calmer now, partially dulled by the break in his mind, but partially because he came to a conclusion. If he screamed, if he yelled, it would only gratify her, only make her feel more important, and he was not going to let her have that victory. And he left it at that. No more anger or yelling. Just a quiet acceptance that she was not worth it.
He decided that it was probably best to be polite to Kol. To be in his bad graces was probably a bad thing. "Come on, Dean, any friend of Kat's is a friend of ours, right? I think, just this once, we can trust him." He looked to Dean, trying to hint to him as much as he could that this was one that they probably didn't have. Kol seemed a touch... unstable. It might be best to just let everyone part ways quietly. "And this is a pretty public place, too..."
