- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She was running late, something she very rarely did. She had laid down when she got home and had forgotten to set her alarm, waking up 10 minutes before she was supposed to be at Caroline's. Caroline, Bonnie and she were having a girl’s night, something they hadn’t had a chance to do since Stefan had arranged it last year in order to cheer up Caroline. She could still remember the feeling of awe that she had when her boyfriend had asked her to get a bag of clothes together and a pillow as Caroline needed some cheering up…how many boyfriends would do that for their girlfriend’s friends? Granted he and Caroline were friends too but still, not many guys were as sensitive as Stefan had been.
She threw herself out of bed and ran to her closet, trying to figure out what to wear. She knew they were just going to be staying in that night, watching movies, eating popcorn, just being with each other...which is exactly what they all needed since the craziness around them sometimes threatened to turn them all insane. Pulling on her pajamas for the night which consisted of a blue tank top and a pair of blue plaid boxers she noted with a shiver that it was a bit too cold to simply go over in this. Throwing on a hoodie and a pair of black yoga pants over her pajamas slipped on a pair of slip on shoes that she never wore out of the house but figured since all she was doing was going to hang with her girls it didn't matter.
She ran her brush through her hair and then threw the brush, along with her toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner into an overnight bag, also throwing in a pair of jeans and a shirt along with her black pair of converse tennis shoes. She never knew what would happen at any time so she had made it a habit to be as prepared as possible over the past several months, something she had been grateful for more than once. Making sure she had her phone charger she headed downstairs, grabbing her purse and her keys. “I’m leaving.” She called out to Lexi and Stefan, both of whom waved at her, not really paying her a bit of attention.
Making her way quickly towards her new SUV, a Mitsubishi Outlander that she had fell in love with at the dealership after her car had been wrecked and she had finally gotten the money from the insurance company, she sped off quickly, not wanting to be any later than she already was.
It didn't take her long to get to Caroline's house thankfully. She jumped out of the car and made her way to the front door, ringing the doorbell while she waited for Caroline to come and let her in. Even with the hoodie it was still cold out.

-------------------------- -------------------------- Finally a girl’s night in. something she could clearly use. No matter what was going on between either of them, she knew that they were always there for each other. Even if Bonnie was not the biggest fan of vampires, when Caroline had needed them she had been there as if nothing had ever changed between them because in a way, nothing had changed. They still cared about each other deeply and she would do anything for those girls, even if it meant to be friends with vampires. She had learned to understand that her friend had changed and at the same that she was still the same person deep down. They had all changed a lot since the Salvator had moved around here and perhaps it was for the best, they were starting to figure out who they were and well who wouldn’t like that? They could actually learn to be their own women.
Bonnie grabbed her bag which the clothes she had already prepared for the next day along with a few toiletteries she might need. She also had a small bag of goodies for them to snack on during the night. Their girls’ night in were mostly typical, one might think tha with everything they had been through they would when it came to the supernatural life that it would follow them during their supposed to be quiet evening and while that might be the case sometimes, Bonnie was determined to make this a great night for all of them. She tried to remember if they had done something like this since the time where Stephan had arranged everything for them to join Caroline and make her feel better in a way it had made Bonnie like him a bit.
Finally Bonnie was out of the door and thankfully the drive over to Caroline was rather short, everything in this town was close to each other which was a good thing when you were in a hurry like she was right now. Once she had parked the car on the side of the curb she took her phone out and let Jeremy know that she would be spending the night over at Caroline’s. they had recently restarted dating and she liked letting him know what she was up to even if she knew that he wouldn’t ask such a thing out of her. she knew that he trusted her and she had found it in herself to be able to trust him again.
She put the phone back in her purse and took everything out of the car and up the drive way only to see that a figure was already standing there and she knew that it could only be one person. Elena. “Elena” Bonnie almost screamed as she ran up the driveway to reach her friend and hold her close.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Caroline was due to have a bit of fun. Everything in her life had been so dreary lately. First, she lost Tyler to Klaus. He turned him into a hybrid and because of that, Tyler formed a special bond to him. This had caused her to break up with him because she wasn't sure if she'd ever be able to trust him. Next, they had lost Stefan to Klaus as well. He had completely shut his humanity off. Flipped it like a freaking switch. Due to this, Elena had been sad as of lately as well. As far as she knew Bonnie was doing alright, though she was still grieving her grandmother. At least it seemed that she'd been talking to Jeremy again. That was good, right? She'd heard through the grapevine that they'd even gone to dinner recently. At the moment she was with Dean. Or at least they were currently seeing each other, it wasn't facebook official or anything. Not yet, anyways...
Regardless, all of these factors had called for a girls night. She had invited both of her best friends over to watch movies and talk. It would be nice to have a normal girls night and just relax. Hopefully nothing too bad went down, no visits from Stefan or any of the boys. Her mother was out of town for a conference with the State so they would be alone parental wise. She had actually been getting along a lot better with her mother lately. Since she'd learned of her being a vampire, they'd been much closer. She had recently come to accept it and they had been talking a lot. For the first time in years, she felt like she could go to her mother about things. She didn't tell her about Stefan or Klaus really, she didn't want to worry her.
The vampire got undressed and changed into her new pajamas. It consisted of a black top with a leopard print pocket and leopard print shorts, with black fluffy slippers. She tied her hair up into a loose ponytail and washed off her makeup. She didn't need to be all done up to hangout with her friends. She took her phone and turned it off, leaving it in her room. Really the only two that she texted were Elena, Bonnie, Matt and Dean. Since the girls were going to be here, she didn't really need her phone. Dean already knew she was having a girls night anyways.
Hearing the doorbell go off, she rushed to the door and swung it open. Seeing both of her friends she reached out and hugged them both. "Guys I'm so glad your here! Come inside, please" she told them as she waved them inside. Shutting the door behind them, she motioned for them to follow her into the kitchen. "Okay I have popcorn, cotton candy, m&ms, snowcaps, tons of drinks and water, blood for me obviously, wine, and as for movies.." she said excitedly, she moved back into the living room. In the living room she had a large stack of movies, the Notebook being right on top. "I figured we'd watch the notebook first, but that's up to you guys." A large smile came across her features, so excited to have them here for a girls night in. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ::TAG:: Elena, Bonnie ::OUTFIT:: Click here for Caroline's outfit.::WORD COUNT:: 566 ::NOTES:: ----

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She noticed that Bonnie’s car wasn’t there yet and was certainly glad that her friend was late and it would make Caroline a little less annoyed. Hearing a yell of her name she turned around and was hit full force with a huge hug from one of her two best friends. Smiling in almost relief she hugged her back tightly, having missed the closeness that she used to share with this now woman. “Bonnie.” She simply stated, hutting her for all she was worth before hearing a noise from behind her she turned around to see Caroline beaming at them. Hugging the blonde back she sighed in relief as she stepped out of the cold and into the house.
She was glad that it seemed as if her best friend wasn’t annoyed with her for being late. “I’m late, I’m so sorry. I fell asleep, then my alarm didn’t go off (or I slept through it one or the other) and yeah. My bad.” She smiled, hoping her friend wasn’t too upset with her. She knew Caroline was one who liked punctuality, something she usually was like as well. However the last few months had been a series of events that had changed her whole way of thinking and acting. She went and dropped her bag off in the living room, not wanting to carry it any longer. She grinned at her best friends when she walked back into the hallway, glad that they were all together for the evening.
It had been way too long since they had gotten to spend any time together just as friends. Sure they saw each other usually daily, but it was usually as ‘Doppelganger’ ‘Witch’ ‘Vampire’. It hadn’t been about ‘best friends’ in a long time, and it was something that they all definitely needed. She resisted the urge to simply grab her best friends in another hug, though she had a feeling by the end of the night they’d all be cuddled up together in bed watching movies. It was just the way they had always done sleep over’s. They’d all bring over pillow and blankets, but would still somehow end up all on the same bed under the same covers. Most people would have thought they were too old for that type of stuff, but they were all girls, and best friends, and sometimes one needed the comfort of a best friend when things got rough.
Elena laughed a bit at Caroline’s rambling about having drinks, noting that she had blood for her and wine and other goodies for them. “It’s not like you can’t drink the wine and other stuff to Care.” She stated with another laugh. “Seriously Caroline? The notebook? Aren’t you tired of that movie yet? You have to know the whole thing by heart.” She exclaimed, rolling her eyes for good measure. It really didn’t matter what they did as long as they did it together…she just liked giving her blonde haired best friend a hard time.
Hello, they were best friends, what else were they supposed to do?

-------------------------- -------------------------- Bonnie was rarely late but her head had been rather full lately and it had made her feel a tad bit forgetful and not all there. Being back with Jeremy was the most wonderful thing that had happened to her lately but right now most of the time all she wanted to do was be by his side. And while tonight was no exception she also wanted to be with her friends so it meant that she had to let go a bit of Jeremy and not let herself because the overly attached girlfriend stereotype. She wanted to be something else. She wanted to still be able to see her friends and tonight was the best night to do just that, just then girls’s without any gys.
As she finally reached Elena she hugged her close. She had miss her best friends dearly. And soon enough Caroline opened the door. ‘’yeah sorry I`m late as well, I just didn’t want Elena to show up alone late.’’ She said with a wide grin on her face. ‘’I promise to pick her up next time so we are on time.’’ She added with a laugh. ‘’But really I`m sorry I`m late and it was really my fault.’’ She told Caroline, hoping that the blonde vampire wouldn’t be too mad at them
She followed the girls inside and left her bag next to Elena`s. She looked around the place and smile. This was really just like old times. Before all the vampires and supernatural stuff. When they had simply been best friends and that was the end of it. There was nothing more for them to say, nothing more for them to talk about. They didn’t have to worry about all the things that life had thrown at them recently, they could simply be happy and that was it. And tonight she wanted to have a night just like they use to have before.
The more Caroline talked about everything she had, the more that Bonnie felt excited. This was really like old times, except for the blood part of Bonnie had decided to forget that little part of information. She would just pretend to herself that Caroline was drinking some red wine or something like that. There was no need to really know what it was. ‘’Do we really have to watch the Notebook I mean I always cry like a baby and I feel depressed for days and days.’’ Like most girls she loved the movie but every time it shook her to her core and she didn’t know what to do with herself anymore. ‘’Can`t we put on mean girls or a funny movie like that?’’ she proposed not wanting them to get all depressed tonight.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - When she hugged Elena, she noticed how cold her arms were. Why on earth she hadn’t been wearing a coat, Caroline had no clue. It was freezing outside tonight, it was only February for god sake’s. Luckily for Caroline she didn’t have to worry about weather issues. Vampires didn’t get cold and she wasn’t sure yet if they got hot or not. She hadn’t yet had a super hot day as a vampire. It was sad that this was the biggest perk she’d found out of being what she was. Maybe it wasn’t the biggest, but it was definitely one of the only perks she’d found so far. ”It’s fine, I didn’t even notice. Long day. Plus, I was starving and I wanted to eat before you guys got here anyways.”
Elena was probably used to seeing vampires eat in front of her, but Caroline didn’t care. She didn’t want to eat in front of her regardless. Of course she would if she had to and she had, but Bonnie was here. Bonnie hated vampires with a passion and she didn’t want to remind her friend of what she now was. ”Bonnie! It’s fine. I know things have been crazy lately. Being late isn’t our biggest problem right now” she said with a small laugh. It was the truth though, they had a lot more to worry about then being late for a slumber party.
She was glad that the girls seemed in decent moods tonight. It would have sucked if they would have all been all moody. ”Hopefully you guys don't mind that I fed a little while ago. At least you weren't here!” she said sullenly. She was still adjusting to being so different from the two of them. Blood was her breakfast, lunch, dinner and all snacks in between. She really only ate human food when she was in public or out somewhere, it didn’t have a taste to her anymore. ”How about some wine?” she asked with a huge smile. She then ran into the kitchen, a bit too fast. She hoped it didn’t bother either of them, Bonnie especially.
Opening up the cupboard, she grabbed three wine glasses and then went across the kitchen and got the bottle of wine. She took it back into the living, where the notebook was ready to be played. She set the glasses on the coffee table and poured each of them one, then handing them each one. Hearing Elena pipe up about the notebook she couldn’t help but laugh. ”I do know it by heart, and how could you say that? The notebook is the greatest movie ever made. But fine fine. You guys totally suck. We can watch whatever, it's not like I don't own a bajillion movies." Once they all had their glasses, she looked to Elena to start off the toast.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Elena couldn’t help but laugh a bit when Bonnie stated that watching the notebook made her cry. How either of them continued to watch that movie with how sad it was she had no idea. Granted the end of it was sweet where the older couple died together in their sleep but still! It was so sad. She hated to admit it but it was also a bit depressing being that two of the three of them really had no chance of that scenario happening. Caroline would never truly grow old or die of natural causes being that she was immortal. Granted, if her and Tyler got back together they could realistically live forever being that Tyler was a hybrid which made him half vampire which meant he was immortal too, but still.
Bonnie had that option if she stayed with Jeremy. Granted no one really chose when they died so to speak, but it was still a possibility for her and Jeremy…though Elena hated thinking of either one of them dying, no matter how old they were. It was still a weird think to think about and to be honest a bit disturbing since Jeremy was her younger brother and all.
She herself however had no chances of having the sad but happy ending of the notebook happening with her. Sure she could find a human guy to date, marry, and die with (again, she knew she was being ridiculous but her mind worked in mysterious ways sometimes) but it wouldn’t be her true love like it was in The Notebook. Stefan would never age, never die and thus landed her with her problem. Stefan said before the sacrifice that he had thought about her becoming a vampire. She had told him then that she had never wanted to be one, and that was the truth then.
Now however her thoughts had slightly changed. She still didn’t want to be a vampire, not really, but she wanted to be with Stefan, and now that she had lost him she knew she would do anything, including changing, to get him back. It wasn’t something that she had discussed with anyone, not even her diary knew her inner thoughts about it, but it was something that had been on her mind constantly over the past few months. She hated to think about what would happen but at the same time, she almost felt like it was inevitable.
Elena jumped at hearing the voices around her, having completely lost herself in her thoughts. She laughed when Caroline stated they should all have a glass of wine. “Does anyone else find it ironic that we are partaking in underage drinking in the sheriff’s house?” She asked with a laugh before shrugging. “I’m cool with it.” She stated with a laugh. “As for a movie, I am down for a total good girls movie. I think we’ve all had enough sadness to last us awhile.” She stated, walking over to Caroline’s movie cabinet and rifling through it before pulling out two movies. “What should it be? Mean Girls or Bring It On?” She asked, grinning at her two best friends.

-------------------------- -------------------------- Bonnie tried her best to act normal around Caroline. It was a well known fact that Bonnie was not the biggest fan of vampires. She didn’t like to use the word hate but it was close enough. But if it was something that she felt strongly about, it was her friend, there was not much that she wouldn’t do for the people she cared about. And apparently that meant being okay with vampires to a certain extent. But when Caroline mentioned the whole eating thing, she had to try her best to hide her reaction to it. So instead she simply nodded because it was easier then trying to fake anything else. She knew that Caroline was doing her best to make everything seem normal she didn’t want to destroy that.
‘’long day, good or bad thing?’’ Bonnie asked looking at her friend, hopeing that nothing wrong happened to her today. She would hate to hear that Caroline was not doing all that well. ‘’well well look who is not all that bend about us being late. I believe that next time we should actually test your boundaries a bit more than that.’’ Bonnie teased hugging Caroline. ‘’But yes, being late is not all that bad and beside we have all night ahead of us.’’ She pointed out.
Bonnie chewed on her lip when Caroline asked if they minded that she had feed earlier today. ‘’no really I don’t mind, are you going to be okay for most of the night?’’ she asked her friend. She looked over at Elena. Elena must have been rather use to having vampires feed when she was around but it really was something that Bonnie didn’t want to have to deal with. ‘’Thank you Caroline for eating while I was not there.’’ It was a strange thing to say but Bonnie had appreciated the gesture and she wanted to make sure that her friend knew that.
‘Wine would be great.’’ She laughed when Caroline said that the notebook was the greatest movie ever made. While it was a good movie she was not sure if she would go as far as saying that it was the greatest movie ever. But she didn’t want to cry her life tonight. It was a beautiful story and an ending that would rip your heart out. She really wish that she would be able to grow old with the person she loved minus the whole forgetting about him part which was probably the part of the movie that had mad Bonnie cry the most. Forgetting the person you loved the most must be devastating. Well kind of since you wouldn’t really remember them. How would she react if suddenly, Jeremy forgot all about her? how would she deal with herself?
‘’Ironic? Totally’’ Bonnie was glad to have been taken out of the sad thoughts that had started to fill her head. ‘’but at least the chances of us getting into some type of trouble is rather slim.’’ She took one of the wine glass. ‘’I really want to watch Mean Girls.’’ She added but Bring it on would be great as well. Or maybe just my luck?’’ anything that was funny would be good for them right now. And beside she knew that they would most likely end up talking instead of watching the actual movie. So something they could watch and talk about something else at the same time would be better.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - All of them seemed to have a lot on their minds as of late. Every one them seemed as if they were somewhere else at times, drifting off. However Caroline hoped that once they got around to talking about everything that maybe they'd all feel a bit better about things. Girl talk solved everything! Or at least she liked to think that it could, or that it would, in this case. Best friends weren't easy to come by in this town nor were they easy to keep. Caroline had become best friends with Tyler only to lose him recently, something that still bothered her quite a bit. At first he'd at least called every now and then and told her that he loved her, left her a message, something. But lately? Nothing. Not a single phone call, message, e-mail, nada, and that really hurt her. All she could hope now was that he was doing well wherever he was...
"Long day...okay thing? It wasn't the greatest, but not the worst either. Definitely will be better now that you guys are here" she said with a playful wink. That was the good thing about friends; they could always cheer you up. Or at least they usually did that is. Sometimes not so much she tried not to dwell on those times. At the comment about them being late Caroline simply rolled her eyes at Bonnie. "Yeah yeah, I'm really strict about punctuality, I know. But how could I be captain of the cheer squad and not be? Besides, this isn't practice, this is a girls night. But...side note. Both of you really need to come back to the team..I'm dying without you. You know I had to allow a Sophomore onto my team? Totally unacceptable" she said with a shake of her head. It really irritated her that she had to accept a Sophomore onto the team. Varsity was supposed to be Juniors and Seniors only, that was how it was, and had always been. Simply a disgrace.
Caroline nodded to Bonnie with a slight glare. It was a joking glare, meant to simply make the girl laugh. "Yes I'll be fine. There will be no harming of any bunnies on girls night" she said with a laugh. Maybe she shouldn't have joked about it at all considering it was Bonnie, but she hadn't been able to help it. Sometimes her foot just automatically placed itself into her mouth. As Bonnie thanked her she simply nodded. She knew Bonnie didn't want to talk about it anymore than necessary, she was just glad that she hadn't made her friend upset by telling her about it in the first place.
"Agreed, definitely ironic. But my mom's gone at another one of her 'leadership' conferences so we don't have to worry about getting in trouble. And, mean girls, all the way" she said with a smile, walking over and taking the movie from Elena. Gesturing for the both of them to sit down on the couch she walked over and flicked on the television. Next, she put the movie into the DVD player and started it before joining them, sitting between the two on the couch. "I miss this, just us girls having fun" she said, giving them each a smile, each one of her arms spreading to pull all of them together in a huddle kind of hug.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She furrowed her brows as she reached into her pocket, coming up empty handed as she tried to look for her phone. She looked around and saw her purse, grabbing it and searching through it, yet still coming up cell phone-less. “Have you guys seen my phone?” She asked her two best friends, though knowing neither one of them were paying a bit of attention to her so she didn’t really worry about it. She looked on the kitchen table where the three had originally been but couldn’t find it. She groaned, hoping she hadn’t left it at home, which would definitely be her luck. “I’m going out to look in my car, be right back.” She told them and waited until they waved her off before grabbing the car keys and rushing out the door.
She had made it a point to make sure that if she was somewhere and went there alone, that someone knew where she was going. Elena had been kidnapped one too many times without someone knowing where she was, so this was just an extra safety precaution for her. Once in the car and laughed, realizing her cell was still plugging into the auxiliary cable in her car, having listened to music through it on the way over the Caroline’s earlier that night.
She grabbed it, locked the door, and headed back inside, locking Caroline’s door as she did. Luckily no one had called her but she wanted to keep her phone handy just in case. She had been waiting for Jeremy to text her back for the past couple of hours since she really hadn’t seen him recently as he had been staying with Matt, so she wanted to make sure it was on her in case he finally decided to be a nice brother and text her back.
She seemed to pick the best time to come in as Caroline was rambling on about the cheerleading squad. A part of her really wanted to go back to that simply because she felt as if she needed something normal in her life. However she didn’t know if she had the time to fully commit to it for fear of something vampireish going on and having to bail. “I don’t know Care.” She started out…not sure how to put it into words. “How about I rejoin as an alternate…that way if you need someone I can help out but I don’t have to make the big commitment to it right away. With everything going on with Klaus and the rest of the Original Family I just don’t want to let you down if I can’t come to something.” She stated, wondering what she would think of her suggestion.
She leaned into the hug that Caroline offered and felt safe in a way that no one else except her two besties could make her feel. She loved these two girls as sisters and she refused to be parted with them again. She knew that they had been estranged over the past few months because of vampire issues but she refused to allow that to separate them any longer. No matter what she had to do in order to fufil that promise.

-------------------------- -------------------------- BoBonnie felt like she had been losing touch with her best friends and that was hard. She knew they were all busy and had different things going on in their lives but she didn’t want anything to come between them again. She knew it was asking a lot but she needed more nights like tonight. While she had made new friends (or at least one other friend in Jo) it did not mean that she could do without her best friend even if one of them was in love with a vampire et the other was one. And then there was Bonnie who hated vampires. It made everything a lot harder than she wanted but still she was willing to move pass this because best friends were hard to find and she didn’t want to lose hers.
Bonnie couldn’t help but bring Caroline into another hug as the girl mentioned that the fact that they were here would make the night better. “friends make everything better.” She said softly. Did Bonnie miss cheerleading? She actually did. But she was unsure if she wanted to go back at cheerleading. “a sophomore?” she said faking that she was shocked and overwhelmed by the news. “how will the team ever survive with a sophomore on the team.” She said before looking at Elena to see if the girl was thinking of perhaps going back to the team but her friend seemed busy with something else. “No sorry Elena.” It was strange because if there was someone who was obsess with her phone it was dear Elena. But the words were lost as Elena walked out of the house and came back with the idea that maybe she could be an alternate. Damn why hadn’t she thought about that before. “Well I could come to a few practice and see if I really want to rejoin again? I mean I have been considering it…”
When Caroline made some sort of a joke about eating bunnies, Bonnie did her best to try and keep a normal face. She didn’t really think it was funny and could not force herself to laugh but the least she could do was not say anything. She knew that Caroline didn’t mean anything bad by it, she had most likely not ever think about the fact that it was not the best idea to talk about it that way.
“yes just us girls and well mean girls.” She said and laughed. “”its good to know I hate to think of getting into trouble when you mom could show up.” Bonnie leaned into the kind of hug her friend was giving her. “I’ve missed this, really. I have. We really have to start doing this a a bimontly thing or something like that.” She pointed out. Maybe if they actually planned to do something like that more often it would actually make it work. At least she sure could hope it was going to work that way.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Both her and Bonnie shook their heads to Elena’s question. God, was that girl obsessed with her phone or what? Although it kind of made sense that they all keep their phones near and dear to them, considering shit could pop off at any second. As she stated that she was going to go out to her car Caroline simply nodded and watched as she walked off. It was only a couple of seconds until she returned, phone in hand, and Caroline and Bonnie had been watching Mean Girls in the meantime. ”Whatever happened to Lindsay Lohan? She’s in rehab now! She had so much potential…” Caroline said absentmindedly. She’d actually liked Lindsay Lohan until she’d gone all drug addict and ended herself in jail, and then rehab right afterwards.
At the mention of Elena being an alternate, Caroline simply gave her the stink eye. ”Fine. But when we start kicking ass in Championships, don’t think you’re just walking on to the stage!” With this she put on her ever so famous pouty look and simply crossed her arms over her chest. Of course she was only just kidding, but it was definitely fun to tease the normally uptight Elena Gilbert. ”No, but really, that’s fine. I really doubt the Sophomore will last. Even her cartwheel’s suck…how does one mess up a cartwheel?” she asked, though it was pretty much rhetorical, with a shake of her head. At Bonnie’s mocking attitude about the Sophomore comment she narrowed her eyes in on her as well. ”It’s a serious manner, Bonnie. Sophomores simply don’t make it on Varsity teams, ever. And now Mystic Falls has done just that. On my watch, nonetheless” and she shook her head again, this time disappointed in herself. Cheerleading might be all fun and games to then, but it wasn’t to her. Not at all! This was serious business.
”That’s fine. And ya know, you guys don’t have to join. I’m just venting” she said with a small laugh. She didn’t want to seem like she was breaking their arms over here because she wasn’t. No, she just missed them being on the team. Plus it was another time they could use to spend together which wasn’t a bad thing at all. Eyes widening she playfully nudged Bonnie in the shoulder. ”Bi-monthly? Nice to see how much you love us! How about bi-weekendly?” she said jokingly, though her intentions were actually quite serious. She needed her girls in her life. With everything going on she needed times like these where she could let loose with the girls. Arching her eyebrows to them as if she was being sneaky, she smirked before downing her glass of wine. Once it was gone she poured herself another and raised it as if saying ‘cheers’ to all of them. Screw it, she was with her best friends and she was going to have fun.

---------------------- ---------------------- Jeremy was running as fast as he could to the grill, he was really scared that he might have been late. which was bad because it was getting close to the lunch hour, they were always so crazy busy at that time. He walked through the door and the place was packed, there wasn’t a seat in the house that wasn’t full. Jeremy walked into the back, heading to the lockers to put away his jacket, when all the sudden his boss was calling him from the office. He knew this couldn’t be good, he must have been later then he thought he was. He made his way into the office and sat down at the desk, his Boss begin to ask him if he knew why Matt had left all the sudden when his shift was not over. Jeremy was a bit lost with all this, it was not like Matt just to just leave in the middle of work. He needed money way to much for all that. Jeremy told his boss to let him go home real quick to try and find him, he knew that he had to be there where else could he had been.
Jeremy ran out the door of the grill and begin to head back home, he knew that he had to be there the question was what for? He hoped that nothing was wrong, but with there luck in this town who knows really. He busted through the apartment door quickly worried hoping to find him, but so far there was no sign of him. But there was a note placed on the table to Elena and Jeremy, it looked as though it was from Matt. He opened it up and begin to read what it said, he knew right away what he was seeing it wasn’t good . He begin to worry what was wrong with Matt to do this in the first place? Why did he just leave like this? Jeremy knew that he couldn’t go back to work, he needed to get to his sister and now. He had heard Elena say that earlier that day that she was going to Caroline’s house, which was where he was on his way to and now.
He had gotten there pretty fast not even sparing a moment, he was lucky that he didn’t get a ticket on his way there. He ran out of the car quickly and made his way to the door, he knocked quickly and franticly hoping someone would answer. Thank god Elena had answered, he looked to his sister with so much worried in his eyes and handed the note to her. “Here open this its Matt something is wrong!” He watched and waited for Elena to open it and read it. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She opened her mouth to comment on what Caroline and Bonnie were talking about when she heard a knock at the door. She looked out the window which she was standing next to and was surprised to see Jeremy standing on the porch. “I’ll go let him in, it’s Jeremy.” She told the two girls before heading over to the door and opening it to see her brother, looking highly distraught and ringing his hands. “Jer, what is it?” She asked, all sorts of scenarios running through her head at Mach 1. She couldn’t understand what had made her brother look like that, but she knew that it couldn’t be good.
She couldn’t quite comprehend her brother’s words until he shoved a letter in her hand. She looked at the outside and all it said was To Elena and Jeremy. This struck her as odd since it had been over a year since they had passed any sort of notes and if he was passing notes to anyone now it should have been Caroline. Well no, she guessed it shouldn’t since they had broken up awhile ago and as far as she knew Caroline was still dating that older guy but still, she wasn’t sure why he would leave her a note.
Lena and Jer, Hey. I know this is weird writing you this letter but I wanted to let the two of you know I’m going out of town. I addressed it to you two knowing full well that you’ll let everyone else read it…however it only seemed right that it get sent to you since Lena you have been my best friend for it seems like a hundred years and Jer you’ve been there for me recently when I’ve needed someone. Things have gotten too intense in Mystic Falls and seeing as the human population seems to be dwindling every day I decided it was time to get out. Don’t look for me, you won’t find me. I promise to stay safe and hopefully I’ll send word when I get wherever I am going. I really don’t have a clear plan, only a direction that seems to be pulling me away from Mystic Falls. Stay safe.
She looked up at Jeremy in disbelief, tears stung her eyes. “When did you find this?” She asked before grabbing his arm and dragging him into the living room, shoving the note at Bonnie and Jeremy. “This is what Jeremy found at Matt’s today.” She stated, her voice cold and afraid. -------------------------- -------------------------- “you know child star is never a good thing.” Bonnie pointed out with a shrug. Apparently most of them ended up being drug addicts or something. It was clearly something parents should think about before letting their child become something major. Even the kid of Harry Potter had delt with drinking too much. “Maybe she will turn her life around, we never know, she could become the next big thing once again.” Bonnie watched the screen. “And who would have known that Regina George would become this wonderful actress. She was so amazingly good in the note book.” She added as she looked over at the pile of DVDs Caroline had taken out.
“Come on Caroline you know you can whip her into shape because let’s face it, if there is someone who can do such a thing it’s you.” She told her friend and rolled her eyes at the pout. “don’t pout like that. I will stop by next practice and just see what the team looks like I’m sure it’s not as bad as you think.” Though if Caroline had to take on a sophomore chances were that it really was that bad. There was no way her friend would have taken on a sophomore unless she really had to. And if she had too it meant that times were bad. “just get her in shape and then you can say that you have manage to actually get a sophomore to be as good as a senior.” She proposed though she was not sure that it was going to go well with Caroline. She actually felt bad for he friend. She knew how important it was for her to get the cheerleader in shape and well having lost Bonnie and Elena must not have been a good thing on her.
“”I know we don’t have to join but I have to admit that I kind of miss being on the cheerleading team. We did have a lot of fun together.” She added. Bonnie had not left because she hated it, she had left because at that moment it was the best thing for her to do. But maybe now was time to go back. “I love you guys but really let’s face it, we barely have time to see each other. Do you really think we could manage that?” she asked before drinking more of her wine. Before she could say something else someone was at the door and before she had time to look, Elena said that it was Jeremy. it didn’t take much longer for Bonnie to quickly place the wine on the table and run a hand into her hair making sure that they were behaving themselves.
She looked over to the door and could see the panic across from Jeremy’s face. She took Caroline’s hand so both of them could join their friends. “is everything okay?” she asked but with the look on her friends’ face it was easy to guess that clearly they were not okay. Something was terribly wrong.
