---------------------- [/color]  ----------------------[/color] Jeremy knew he should be doing this but he had been so bored lately, he really needed to get out and have some fun. So he decided why not go to a club and have some fun, the only thing was the place he was going to was known to be big on Vampires being there. Which if Elena knew about she would be pissed, but he just couldn’t help it. There was just something about Vampires that made him very interested. It must have came from knowing Anna. She really made him interested when he found out, hell he almost became one.
He missed Anna so much he wished so much that she was there, so they could be together and more then just a sprit. But It had been awhile that he had seen her ghost even. He was really starting to wonder were she had gone off to, he was worried that something might have happened to her. But maybe it wasn’t her at all, maybe it was Jeremy. Did something happened to where he has lost this ability? He really hoped not just for the sake of wanting to see Anna, but he only wants to see her and only her.
Jeremy had walked into the bar without even getting an ID shown, that’s another way he knew there had to be something up with this place. They didn’t even want to see it, and he was certain of one thing he didn’t look twenty one that was for sure. He had made it too the bar taking a seat, the bartender walked over asking what he wanted. But he wasn’t going to order a drink he didn’t need to take a chance of having to show it. “I will have a Coke please.” He then sat there waiting for the man to bring his soda. He waited looking at all the people that were there dancing wondering how many of them were vamps.

----------------------- [/b]  -----------------------[/b] Sitting at the bar in the Mystic Grill Alaric took a sip of his drink. He found himself quite a lot since Jenna’s death. He misses her and wanted her back but knew he would never see her again. He promised Elena he would quit drinking so much and he had. He took on his role more for Elena’s and Jeremy’s guardian. He was already Elena’s step father technically. He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. He knew he would have to leave here soon and go back to the Gilbert house where he was staying. He still couldn’t make himself go into Jenna’s room and sleep in that bed. He had taken to the couch and he preferred to stay there until he was ready to go back in there without her.
He sighed as he took another long sip of his drink. This was only his second glass tonight, and for the day. He was proud of how much he had cut back and he knew Jenna would be to if she was watching all this wherever she was. After finishing his drink he paid for both the drinks he had and left the Mystic Grill. He got into his car and turned it on. He pulled off the side of the curb and headed home. He hit some red lights but not much. He kept driving listening to the music playing from his radio. It was a clear night sky. You could see the stars up in the night sky. It was beautiful.
Pulling into the drive he parked the car and turned the car off. He sighed as he slowly got out of the car and locked it. With all the crazy vampires, mostly the Mikaelson family, here he didn’t trust his car not being locked. He walked up the rest of the driveway. He unlocked the front door and went in. Anyone here [/color] he said loud enough that anyone could hear in the whole house. He wondered where Elena and Jeremy were. He sat around wondering where everyone was. He sighed and heard his stomach growl. He chuckled as he needed something to eat. He grabbed his car keys again and left a note for Jeremy and Elena of where he was going to do. He walked outside and got back into his car. He pulled out of the driveway and headed into town. He tried to figure out where he was going to go. He didn’t want to go back to the Mystic Grill. He was just there. Sighing he continued driving down the road wondering if he should go to Richmond for something to eat. He sighed and continued driving drove through Mystic Falls. He drove over the Wickery Bridge and into Richmond. He sighed as he continued driving and noticed a club. Vampires were known for going into that club. He sighed and thought for a minute. Maybe someone in there knew about the Mikaelson family, something Alaric and the others didn’t know. Surely Klaus and his family made friends with other vampires. He stopped and pulled into the parking lot. He parked his car and went in. He looked around and saw the one person he didn’t want to see in there. Jeremy. He walked up to him glaring. ---------------------- [/color]  ----------------------[/color] Jeremy sat there drinking his coke wishing It was something with alcohol in it, he really could use it will all that has gone on lately. Plus the stress from school was not helping, trying to make sure he was making all the grades. He was sitting there enjoying the music trying to take in all that had happen that day, he had seen Bonnie earlier that day at the arcade. There they sat down and had a long conversation about all that had gone on with them, it really was nice but a bit awkward. He hoped that maybe after there conversation things with them would be better, and maybe they would be seeing a lot more of each other. At lest he hopes so anyway, he really does miss her.
Then as he was sitting there a voice said something to him, when he turned to look it was Anna back after all this time. Why was she even there? He had not seen her in forever and now after he talks to Bonnie she is back? Was she messing with him? What was it she even wanted. “Anna what are you doing here?” He asked in a low tone hoping no one heard. “After all this time what do you even want? I cant be talking to you anymore so get out of here.” Anna was not happy she ranted and raved back at Jeremy not wanting to go, but this was it he knew what he wanted and it wasn’t her. “Look we cant keeping meeting up like this so go, please! I‘m in love with Bonnie.” He felt bad seeing the tears that were in her eyes. It wasn’t that he didn’t care or didn’t want her there, he was just trying to get back with Bonnie after all this time and he wasn’t messing that up.
No long after Anna was gone, he looked ahead of him and saw who was there. “Oh great what is he doing here” It was Alaric who had all ready spotted him, which was the last thing he wanted right now. He came up to Jeremy telling him that he was leaving now, which was what he knew he was going to tell him that. “Why I’m just sitting here having a drink, I just needed to get way for a bit to think and this was the only place I could think not to see anyone.” He said while taking a drink out of his glass.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Alaric could not believe Jeremy was here in this club. Alaric knew he was a failure as a guardian. That had already shown in how much had gone on in Jeremy and Elena’s life. How many times they had been nearly killed under his watch. It was different with Jenna because she didn’t know about all this until the end but Alaric, Alaric knew everything and he had known it for years. Another proof was Jeremy here in this club. He ran a hand through his hair wondering why Jeremy was even here. He ordered a glass of bourbon and rubbed his face. Of course Jeremy answered him as to why he was here. “Why I’m just sitting here having a drink, I just needed to get way for a bit to think and this was the only place I could think not to see anyone.”
His drink came and he took a long sip. It’s dangerous here Jeremy and you know that he said. He looked around and sipped from his glass. He knew he needed to get Jeremy out of here. If Elena knew about this she would freak out and Alaric was trying to keep that from happening. He knew he should tell Elena but she had a lot going on right now especially with Stefan. He didn’t want to worry her and he wanted to be able to handle things like this. He needed to be better at taking care of a couple of teenagers. It was something Jenna was good at doing.
He looked at Jeremy again and sighed. You can talk to me if you ever feeling like that you know that right [/color] he said. He took a sip then swirled the alcohol around in his glass. You can always come to me Jeremy and if you need to get away we can go somewhere else, somewhere besides here. Like take a vacation or something[/color] he said trying to be the adult figure guardian. He took another sip from his drink and sighed. He stared at his glass. Maybe we shouldn’t tell Elena about this either. She doesn’t need to know everything right and she has enough to deal with as it is what with Stefan and Klaus and his family and hybrids. She worries enough[/color] he said then took another sip. He finished off his drink and got another one. So why come here Jeremy. ---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] Jeremy knew that now that he was there he was going to try and play the father, which he didn’t mind so much because he has been like a father to them. It just seems that every time he tires to do something he is there telling him no, he all ready gets enough of that from his sister as is. So he really didn’t need him doing it too, all Jeremy was doing was trying to get away for a while and clear his head what was the harm in that. Plus it really made him mad to think that he couldn’t take care of himself, and if anything supernatural did happen to him he be fine anyway. He does wear the ring he has for a reason in case he didn’t know.
Jeremy wasn’t dumb he knew it wasn’t safe there, but in Mystic Falls where was it safe really. It really wasn’t safe anywhere you went, it seemed like there was almost as many vampires as there were humans even though there wasn’t. Its just most the time he felt that way. “Look I know its dangerous but don’t worry I’m fine, you know that I watch my back.” He said taking another drink out of his glass. He knew that he could talk Alaric whenever he needed him, its just that sometimes he also just needed to be alone and clear his head. It was nothing against him or anything. “Look I know that man, I know that you are here for Elena and me whenever we need you. Its just sometimes I need to just be along and think, you of all people should understand that.”
He was right though it was smart for them not to tell his sister, Elena did have enough going on as is the last thing she needed was to worry for him. “Yeah lets not tell me sister that would be best, thanks man.” Alaric was cool like that he could talk to him about anything and not have to worry about him telling his sister. Its not that he lied to her all the time or anything its just she would worry to much. He had wanted to know why out of all places he had picked this one, and the truth was no one would ever think to come here. “You know why because it’s the last place I would see anyone so I could be alone. My qwsetion is though what are you doing here?” he asked curiously.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Alaric just wanted to do his best for Elena and Jeremy. He owed Jenna that much at least. Alaric had wondered that if Jenna knew about the supernatural world before she actually knew that maybe she might be alive today, maybe he could have taught her how to protect herself better. Let her know who the bad guys actually were and help her protect herself, Elena, and Jeremy better. All these thoughts constantly ran through his head. He constantly thought about the what if, what if he was a better boyfriend to her. What if he was a better father figure for Elena and Jeremy?
Alaric knew that Jeremy wasn’t dumb. He knew that Jeremy knew that this place wasn’t safe. It was just that lately Elena and Jeremy felt like family to him and after losing Jenna he didn’t want to lose anyone else. He sighed and ordered a glass of bourbon. He ran a hand through his hair trying to pick his next words carefully. He knew Jeremy watched his own back. Elena and Jeremy grew up so fast in the past year or so when they shouldn’t have had to. They had all this supernatural world stuff to deal with and figure out and they shouldn’t have to deal with it. They had just lost their parents and now their Aunt Jenna. Elena had found out that she was adopted, who her birth parents were and then lost them all in a course of two years.
I know you can Jeremy he said as he sipped his drink. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair again as he listened to Jeremy and nodded. I understand Jeremy but you could have picked a better place than this he said as he took another sip from his drink. Alaric made sure not to drop his guard as he had a drink and talked with Jeremy. No matter what they were still in a dangerous place but then again what place hasn’t been dangerous lately. Alaric chuckled as Jeremy agreed that they shouldn’t tell Elena about this. Look Elena has enough to deal with right now. I figured we shouldn’t add to her plate right now is all. This little thing doesn’t need to cross her mind unless one of us gets hurt then she will find out somehow. She always does [/color] he said as he smiled at Jeremy. He took another sip from his drink and sighed. He listened to why Jeremy was here and then coughed a little as he heard Jeremy ask why he was here. Yes that was a good question. He drowned the last of his drink and ordered another one as he ran a hand through his hair again. He knew he was going to have to answer Jeremy’s question and the longer he waited the more it would seem that Alaric was hiding something and he wasn’t. Truth be told I had went home first and no one was there. I was going to Richmond because I was hungry and well I saw this place. I know about this place and since the Mikaelson family has been here a while I figured they have made their way to Richmond as well. I was hoping I could get someone here to talk. Maybe one of them knows something we don’t. Wouldn’t hurt to see right[/color] he said as he sipped his drink making sure no one was listening to them.[/size][/blockquote] -----------------------[/b][/center] |

---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] He was giving Jeremy hell about being at this club, but he couldn’t help but wonder why he was there. It just didn’t really seem like the kind of place he would be at all alone, that is in less he was on a case. Which made him wonder what he was after or what he was looking, or if he needed any help at all. Jeremy likes working on hunting Jobs with Alaric, its his way of showing everyone and his sister that he isn’t just a kid. And that he can take care of himself no matter what the case my be.
Jeremy guess that he was right about picking places, but again this was Mystic Falls were was safe? It seemed like anywhere he went wasn’t safe, Vampires and hybrids pretty much ran the town. “You know what is safe, I mean come on man I was shot at the grill! The place that I have been going to with kids from school, since god only god knows when. I mean that place you to be a safe place for us all to go, and I was pretty much killed there. So you tell me where is safe.” He said sitting there waiting to see what he was say to that. He was right it was the truth no were in this town was safe, so to Jeremy it really didn’t matter where he was. What he did know was to never take his ring off no matter what the case may be.
He was right about one thing Elena always seems to find out the info on everything, whether he wants her to or not. But he knows that she is just trying to be a caring sister as always, and Jeremy love her for that. She really has been great since he lost his mom and dad, he doesn’t know what he would do with out his big sister. He probably would be dead as well. “Yeah that is true she always seems to have the info on everything.” He said laughing a bit.
It made sense to why he was there which wasn’t a bad idea at all, they needed as much info as they could get. Jeremy hates any part of the Mikaelson family there isn’t one person really that he trusts, well Elijah had come through a few times for Elena and him. But it doesn’t mean that are BFFs or anything, they all more or less have an understanding. “Yeah that’s not a bad idea maybe someone does, let me help you its not like I have anything better to do. Plus you know me I have my way of getting people to trust and talk to me.”

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Alaric Saltzman was a hunter and a pretty good one at that. So what was he doing at a club full of vampires? He was on a case. That was right he was trying to find out information about the Mikaelson family. That was his major case right now, nothing else in the supernatural world was more important because as long as Klaus and his family was alive and in Mystic Falls Elena and Jeremy would be in danger and he was doing everything he can to get them to have a danger free life. It wasn’t easy because everywhere they turned in Mystic Falls was dangerous now. Vampires and hybrids were everywhere you looked.
He knew Jeremy was right about nowhere being safe enough. Alaric knew that but Jeremy didn’t need to go dangle himself in front of vampires where no one h knew was around but he did understand how Jeremy felt in wanting to be alone. He had been there himself, just alone time to think. He understood it and he knew Jeremy had a right for some alone time he just wish Jeremy choose to do that at the house where a lot of vampires weren’t welcomed in, only those that Elena deemed worthy to cross the threshold which wasn’t many. I know Jeremy and I understand. I really do [/color] he said running a hand through his hair. He honestly didn’t have an answer for Jeremy on where was safe. He just knew that would be what Jenna and Elena would want him to say. He sighed and took a sip of his drink. I don’t have an answer for you Jeremy. I know that is something Elena and your Aunt Jenna would want me to say to you. I honestly don’t know where safe is right now he told him. He wasn’t going to lie to Jeremy. Jeremy might be a kid but he was a kid that had been through a lot. He knew when someone was lying to him and he knew Jeremy wasn’t stupid. He smiled when Jeremy laughed and talked about how Elena always finds everything out. I think Stefan and Damon overhear us or find out somehow and tell her. You know both of them love her and would tell her in a heartbeat if it kept her out of being in danger[/color] he said. He could see Stefan and Damon telling Elena something and smile while she chewed Jeremy or Alaric out in the comfort of her own home where no evil vampire can get to her. He took a sip of his drink again as he went through his thoughts for his plan on getting information about the Mikaelson family. The whole family was untrustworthy except for Elijah it seemed. Alaric didn’t know why but Elijah seemed dead set on helping them. He wondered if it was because Klaus staked his whole family. That would make him upset if he was related to Klaus though thankfully he wasn’t. Klaus killed Jenna so Alaric was dead set on killing him somehow, some way. He looked at Jeremy and said I wouldn’t mind the help though we shouldn’t tell Elena you helped. If she knew you were here and I didn’t drag you out and I let you stay and help me get information out of these guys she would kill both of us.[/color] He took another sip from his drink finishing it off.[/size][/blockquote] -----------------------[/b] WORD COUNT::574

---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] Alaric knew Jeremy was right he didn’t even know where safe was ether, because again were they live safe just doesn’t exist. There are so many Vampire, werewolf’s, originals, and even hybrids it didn’t matter where you want they always seem to show. A part of Jeremy just wises life would go back the way it was before all this, when it was just him and Elena and there only problems were grades in school. All though there life hasn’t been normal ever since there mom and dad died anyway, so maybe it doesn’t make a difference. If anything all the stuff in this town keeps there minds busy form that, not thinking about the fact there family is gone.
He didn’t need to worry about what to say there was nothing he could, nothing he could do that would make him feel safer. Really the only real safe place at all was being with Alaric right here and now, he was a pretty thought hunter who didn’t let anyone get in his way. He hoped that maybe he was going to let Jeremy help him, he so wanted to be part in taking down the Milaelson’s. He hated everyone of those original ass holes and wanted to turn all of them into dust, if only it was that easy to kill them. He was right though it seemed like all those guy did was tell Elena everything, something they both did in trying to win her affection. All though he didn’t really get why Damon even tired it was obvious who his sister wanted. Jeremy really could careless for Damon, but could you blame him this was the guy who tired to kill him.
It sounded like he was going to let Jeremy tag along, which he was more then ready for. But he was right they couldn’t tell his sister about any of this, other wise she would freak out. “Yeah we best not to say anything to her. So what is the plan how we going to get the info we need, better yet what we looking for?” He asked before talking a sip of his drink. [color=]"I just wish we could end everyone of them, right now. ----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Nowhere was safe for anyone lately. It seemed that every time they turned around something or someone dangerous was around every corner. It was bad enough he couldn’t protect the woman he loved from Klaus. No matter what Alaric would never forgive himself for what happened to Jenna. No matter how he played it over and over in his mind to Alaric Jenna dying was his fault. He knew Mystic Falls wasn’t really all that safe and he just left her alone even if it wasn’t for long. He should have thought of a reason to stay with her. Because of him Jeremy and Elena didn’t have their aunt anymore. He also felt bad for not being the guardian they needed at first.
Alaric hated how he was right after Jenna died. He would stay drunk all the time and he wasn’t that helpful to Elena and Alaric. He wasn’t even helpful to his students and he had a hard time teaching when he was constantly drunk. Thankfully Elena intervened before he lost his job. Alaric sipped his drink and sighed. He ran a hand through his hair and looked around at everyone there. After Elena had intervened he taught Jeremy and Elena how to fight so they could protect themselves, which was what he should have done with Jenna. His mind kept going back to her even now. He couldn’t control that. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. So because Stefan and Damon tell Elena almost everything we should just keep tonight between us alright. Don’t tell Bonnie either. I like Bonnie but she is Elena’s best friend he said as he took a sip from his drink.
He had drained the last of the bourbon from his glass and already he wanted more. He was working on controlling that better and not drinking so much. He looked away from the glass. A part of him wanted to order another drink and think about Jenna and drown himself in that glass. Alaric sighed as he thought about what Jeremy asked, how to get the information. Get one alone and use vervain on them so they are weakened. I was going to make it up as I went along. No real plan right now [/color] he said as he looked around. Alaric sighed at Jeremy’s next comment. I know how you feel Jeremy. That was exactly how I felt after I thought Isobel was dead[/color] he said as he stuffed his hands into his pockets. Alaric had some vervain kept in his pockets just for emergencies. ---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] Jeremy was all ears he was ready to take on whatever Alaric needed him to, He needed to find away to let out all this steam all this anger he had been feeling. There was just something about hunting that Jeremy loved in away, like it called to him in some how. He didn’t know why he felt this way, because not all vampires did he want to hunt nor kill. Some of them were his friends not his enemies, at one point the even loved one of them. Who still haunt him time to time, all though lately she has not. Which was good because if he wanted to work things out with Bonnie that’s what needed to happen. Which is why he hopes she don’t come around again.
He hated keeping things from Bonnie, especially because he was just starting to patch things up with her. Which was another reason he was here drinking tonight, nervous about how there first day back together was going to go. He couldn’t mess it up again, he couldn’t take the chance of losing her again. He loved her way to much to let any of that happen. But Alaric was right Bonnie did tell Elena everything, which is why it might not be best to say anything to her just yet as much as he hates to lie. “Don’t worry I wont say anything to Bonnie, not in less I need to. But really I don’t think I will, besides she hates anything that has to do with vampires, so why would she want to know anyway” He explained.
It sounded like a good sold plan he just hoped that it worked, last thing they needed was the job to go sourer They needed to make sure they though this out calmly and carefully. Other wise it wasn’t going to go the way they wanted it. “Ok man sounds good to me, like I said I’m all with you. So other then that are you sure you are ok, you seem like something is eating at you. I mean you really are drinking the hell out of that drink.” He asked.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Alaric knew that Jeremy would help him no matter what. He remembered how Jeremy was before when he first met the kid, a guy who had just lost both of his parents and was trying to make friends, do whatever he had to do to make them. He watched Jeremy grow out of that and into the more responsible kid that stood before him now. He hated that Jeremy and Elena had to grow up so fast. They should have been able to be kids just a little longer, but they and all their friends had to grow up because of everything that happened in the town.
Jeremy and Elena were like his kids and he just wish that they didn’t have to grow up so fast. He knew that didn’t mind at all but he just wish there was more he could do as far as not having let them grow up. They became like adults over night and that wasn’t fair to them. They acted brave and like they weren’t scared of anything that could come after them when they shouldn’t have to worry about any of this in the first place. They had been hurt so much lately he just wanted to protect them from that. Jeremy, Elena, Caroline, Matt, Tyler, and Bonnie were like family to him. He would protect them till the very end.
Yeah but I don’t blame her Jeremy. She lost her grandmother. That had to be hard he said as he ran a hand through his hair. Every one of them had lost someone they cared about, more than once. Caroline would never grow up anymore, and she wouldn’t grow old with a guy she loved. Bonnie lost her grandmother whom she cared for deeply and who taught her all about being a witch. Tyler lost his father and uncle. Matt lost his sister, twice. Jeremy and Elena lost their parents and their aunt, and Jeremy lost some girlfriends along the way as well to death. It just didn’t seem right to Alaric.
He had been lost in thought when he heard Jeremy talk again. Yeah I am okay Jeremy he said. He knew Jeremy and Elena worried about him because of what happened with Jenna and how he handled the situation afterword. ---------------------- [/color] ----------------------[/color] Jeremy really was happy to have Alaric here looking out for them, other wise they would be lost. After losing there Aunt Jenna they really were sacred about what they were going to do, it all ready was hard without there mom and dad around. But Alaric was there to save the day by keeping them safe and protecting them, he even taught Elena how to fight. And they will be forever thankful to him. He was much more then just a teacher to them, he was more like family.
He was right it had been hard for Bonnie losing her grandmother, it was worse day of her life. But Jeremy didn’t blame her she was like a mother to her, she taught her everything that she knew. About who she was, where she came from, about how to use her powers and being a witch. “Yeah I know it has been hard on her, but that’s why I have been there for her making sure she is ok talking her through it. Bonnie and Me are trying to patch things up between us and get back together, I really do care about her and want to work it out.” He explained. “Which is why I was here thinking about stuff you know, I cant mess this up man I love her.” He wasn’t ashamed bearing his heart to him, most guys would be but Alaric was different more like a dad or uncle.
Alaric said he was ok but Jeremy wasn’t dumb, he knew that deep down not having Jenna around was killing him inside. But it was the same For Elena and Jeremy, they missed Jenna more then anything in this world. They really hated not having her there with them, things still have not been the same since she left. “Ok man if you say so, just know that I’m here if you need to talk. All right lets do this thing, lets see who we can talk to.” Aliric and him begin to look around, in hopes that they would find out more info that they needed.
