--------------------------------------------------Jo actually understood where Xander was coming from. Xander was bonding with a complete stranger but he didn't care, she was cool and just an overall good person, well as far as he could tell. "Exactly! I'm glad we agree Jo Jo. That should be your nickname! Jo Jo!" Xander was clever like that and even if Jo didn't like it he would keep with it for now. He'd probably make another nickname for her somewhere down the road. "But yeah, it's never easy witnessing death and when your friends are with you it's just a killer." When Buffy died and everyone was just around, it broke Xander although he didn't cry but went into shock instead. He was just so certain that she'd always be alive, well she was now.
"Wow, you sound like the kind of girl that sits down and have a beer. Me like!" Buffy and Willow never really drank alcohol and he needed a beer buddy. Xander was seriously lacking guy friends and Jo wasn't a guy but at least she had beer, well if she had it. He was hoping she would agree. They could bond some more over it, but another day because Xander was getting tired and once they were back at the motel he'd be calling himself a taxi back to Richmond. It had been a long night. At least he got to talk to Jo, so that was a bonus at least right? He made a new friend which was just great overall. Xander had wondered if their journey to the motel would end soon, in a way he kind of didn't want it to end so they could talk more but then he did because he needed to be back at home and just relax. Funny, Richmond was his new home and he got used to it so quickly although he missed Sunnydale a lot. -------------------------

----------------------- ----------------------- Jo frowned then raised an eyebrow at Xander's mention of her new nickname. "Jo jo sounds like a little barking dog that won't shut it don't you think? But if it's what you want I'm cool with it" She then gave him a pat on the back as they walked to her motel. This was nice. When he mentioned the beer she smiled wide. "Beer is always a must I agree" She then looked at him and said "I like ya too Xander, we should keep in touch us hunter types gotta stick together"
Wasn't that the truth, strength in numbers was always a good thing in her books. The more people that had knowledge of the bad things out there the better, and if they could all learn to work together without egos clashing..even better. Maybe then they could conquer the evil in the world once and for all. It was a pipe dream yes, but one she would never give up on. She was glad that she had met Xander and befriended him. He was a nice guy with a good head on his shoulders who had also seen and experienced a lot. It was someone she could relate to, and she felt that this was a friendship built to last. She even felt a pang of sadness when she got to her motel room. Not seeing the Impala, she offered Xander a beer. "Hey the guys aren't here wanna come in for a quick beer before you hit the bricks?" She asked with a smile. -----------------------

--------------------------------------------------Xander had to laugh. "You're a funny girl Jo Jo," he tried to wink but it didn't really work. "I'm trying to wink right now but it isn't working," he laughed again. He couldn't remember the time where he just laughed and enjoyed himself, he liked it. Jo was an awesome girl and he was extremely glad that he went up to talk to her at the bridge although he seemed like he was a creeper at first. "Yes! We gotta stick together! Except now I have another job as well. A watcher. I train potential slayers but it leaves me in bruises everyday. Used to though so it's all good." He loved training the potentials it was fun but tiring. "Yeah! Gimme your cell so we can text it up! Unless you aren't a texter, I'm kind of new to texting actually which is weird."
They had walked to the motel. "Nice...comfy place you got here, guess anything's home really." Xander was happy to get an invitation to come in for a beer. "I guess one beer won't be that bad, sure why not!" He waited for her to open the door and went inside after her then he sat on the bed. "At least the beds are good! You know how long you staying here?" He had hoped that she was staying here so he could get to know her better, she seems like a good friend. He couldn't wait to share stories with her and just have a good time he knew they would have an awesome time together.
Notes: Omg I don't know how this took me 10 days to get up I am so sorry never frigging again. -------------------------

----------------------- ----------------------- Jo couldn’t help but smile at being around Xander. He was hilarious and did what she did. Having another friend and ally in the world was never a bad thing. She wanted to hear all of his stories and it also sounded like he wanted to hear hers. She wasn’t all that interesting, but then again to hold a guys attention for the few hours she had with Xander. She couldn’t have been all that bad. She closed and locked the door behind them, then replaced the salt line that had been broken at their entry. She then smiled and went over to the fridge and grabbed a couple of beers, one for her and one for Xander. She handed one to him and took a seat in a chair then put her feet up on the small table then took a swig of her beer. She then frowned a bit when he asked her how long she would be staying here.
Truth be told, she was only planning on staying for a few days then leaving. She would still keep in touch with Xander and the boys...after a while. She felt like she was holding them back. She looked at Xander and said “I don’t know, a few more days maybe when you came up to me on the bridge I thought about leaving here actually, heading out on my own you see since I came back the boys have been watching me like a hawk, I don’t want them to have that kind of life..constantly worrying about me you know?” -----------------------

--------------------------------------------------Xander wondered why she was applying salt to the door. "I'm guessing that salt thing has to do with some witchy thing? Or an alarm?" He remembered Willow doing something like that for Buffy and Dawn so if Glory entered the house it would do something, but it never happened. Xander waited for the beer and when Jo sat down he sat down on the bed. "Do I have to be worried on whose bed this is?" He didn't want to be sitting in Dean's bed or something. He took a sip of the beer which tasted really good, it was good to just relax. None of his friends really drink besides Giles but Giles is like a father figure so that'd just be weird and creepy.
"Awe! Really!?" Xander was actually bummed that she was leaving but he did understand where she was coming from. "I guess I understand my friends have done the same thing since I got the eye patch." It was true his friends worried for him more than he liked, he hated it but there was nothing he could do. He could take care of himself but maybe it was the fact that he was just human and nothing more, nothing special. "So, what are you gonna do when you leave?" He wondered where he would be and what she would do, hunt? Or just try and live a normal life. "You better text me, or I'll hunt you down!" -------------------------

----------------------- ----------------------- She thought that she should explain the salt. “Salt is pure..demons can’t cross a salt line”Jo smiled as Xander seemed bummed to see her go, but it didn’t mean that she wouldn’t keep in touch with him.She felt a bond with Xander, it seemed that the both of them while they their own values and strengths were the sidekicks and it would always be that way. Their friends would always be watching out for them, and despite their best efforts..Jo and Xander were stuck in that place. But they both seemed to accept their positions in this world. Sidekicks gotta stick together. She then said “I dunno I might not go maybe if I find a job here I’d stick around” She then took another large swig of her beer. She then chuckled a bit at Xander when he wondered who’s bed he is sitting on. It was Dean’s. She said “It’s Dean’s but he’s not here as long as you don;t touch his stuff you’re safe”
She was happy that she had made a couple of new friends since coming here, first Bonnie then Xander. They were awesome people. It made her happy to know that even though she had just come back, that she could start to actually have a life. She could have friends, go out do things she had never been able to do . Her whole life had been about the Roadhouse, and she never got a chance at a normal life ever since finding out about the supernatural world. It was nice to know that even though she was destined for this life, she could be destined for friends as well. ----------------------- Notes: Ok Xand the man, one post from you then let's close this up

--------------------------------------------------"Oh, thought so!" Xander wondered if there was a specific reason why they had to put the salt line down, wouldn't they be safe? Or were they just taking extra precaution? Xander loved spending his time with Jo, she understood him and his ways. They were both the sidekicks and sidekicks stuck together, She knew the feeling of bothering people. Xander had always thought that he was bothering Willow and Buffy but he never said it out loud, he was too scared to. He didn't want his friends to call him annoying or anything. Xander just wanted to be on their level of strength but that would never happen of course which sucked.
Xander realized that it was getting really late and his friends probably had no idea where he was and of course Buffy liked to have dinner with everyone so he had to be there. "Oh my! I really should get going, I wouldn't want your roommates to see me getting comfy on their bed. Plus I got a curfew, my friend needs me at home. It was nice meeting you Jo." Xander looked for a pen and paper and when he found one he wrote down his number and gave it to her. "Here's my cell and if you need anything just text me up. Oh, thanks for the beer, it was delicious. " Xander went to walk out the door and looked behind him to give her a smile. He called a taxi and waited for it to come then went off to Richmond. Hopefully he'd be getting a text from Jo soon. -------------------------
