~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Elijah was getting rather bored and needed something to occupy his time. What better than to go for a walk and see the townspeople? Such things always gave him a sense of joy, to see people go on with thier lives. People went shopping, sit and chatted. It was odd to think of how this place used to look when he was young, and mortal.This place was full of nature's beauty and he could say one thing for this town that he couldn't say about many others, but stayed true to its heritage. The people of this place celebrated and held on to their traditions. He admired that about these people.Traditions meant a lot to him.It was s hame how quickly some took them for granted nowadays. He continued walking and looked around spotting a place to sit and have a coffee. Hopefully this place served decent coffee. Would be a shame if they didn't . He strolled over and took a seat where a waitress who appeared rather young, came to take his order. “Coffee please” He said with a smile. The girl blushed and walked away to get his drink. When she came back she also had a paper in her hand and said “Something to read?” “Please” He then took the paper and then took a sip of the hot liquid. It was good. Upon reading the local paper he couldn’t help but notice that the Lockwoods were putting on a party tonight. He hadn;t been to a decent one in a while and the Lockwoods parties were always interesting to say the least. He figured he better make an appearance but for now he would just enjoy his coffee.
The Trickster smiled as he walked through the streets of a place called mystic falls. He stood there, watching, observing. This town was strange, different from what he is used to. He constantly stayed in Richmond Virginia most of the time, the other most of the time he was away in his nice secret apartment. He loved it there, the endless hours he spends watching Dr. Sexy and eating chocolate and drinking his chocolate wine or champagne. He lived like this for years and years and years. He wouldn’t have changed him leaving heaven for the world.
The Trickster walked down the street and he shoved his hands in his pockets as he walked. He looked normal, acted normal, like a normal human would. He wasn’t normal, no, the Trickster is far, far from it. He is an archangel, the youngest one at that, who is posing as a Trickster, or otherwise known as the Demigod Loki. The Trickster let out a sigh as he stopped a moment and noticed a coffee shop. He and the prophet known as Maddie would go inside and just hang around, he would look at her drawings and they would talk. That was a nice normal thing to do for him. He is learning and that’s the best way to learn.
The Trickster walked over. The Trickster stood and then ordered himself a coffee. He took the coffee and paid for it then felt something different. Another vampire. Lord, this place was more and more interesting by the minute.
When he was reading his paper, he couldn't help but feel that there was a pair of eyes on him. He lowered his paper to find a man staring in his direction. He felt compelled to speak "has anyone ever taught you it's rude to stare without introducing yourself first ?" He asked with a smirk. There was something about this guy, he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He only knew that he wasn't human or a vampire or a werewolf..this was a mystery he was determined to solve.
He sipped at his coffee then continued reading his paper wondering all the while who or what that man was, either way his curiosity was peaked and that was a rare feat to accomplish to the old vampire. There seemed to be a great many things going on in this town and this whatever it was here was in his old hometown and it made him wonder even more what it was up to. He only cared if it interfered with any of his plans in any way. Otherwise he could care less. But if it went near the Gilbert's or Salvatores he'd have to deal with it. Elijah was strong and cunning, he could deal with whatever was thrown in his direction whether it be for good or bad. Which reminded him, he owed both of those famines a visit when the time came.He would much rather that it be sooner than later but if he had learnt anything in his many years was that rushing things never ended well.
The Trickster stood there just staring at the vampire, though he knew that this was probably awkward for him. For Gabriel, it wasn't at all. He was learning an d being an angel, he never really felt awkward. He knew it made others feel that way though, at least that's what he had been told. He should have learned all of this over the thousands of years he had spent on this planet known as earth, but he really didn't seem to care. The youngest archangel looked at him when he said something about it. The vampire made a valid point, one that made Gabriel simply shrug at.
"You have a point." he simply stated to the vampire. "but I am not that eager to give up my name just yet. Lots of... People... Are pissed at me at the moment." Gabriel then stated, which wasn't a lie at all. Gabriel is playing the part of Loki now. With that, the Demi gods are all pissed at him and if he was being himself, well most of heaven was after his ass.
"hope you can understand." he finished as he made his way, stepping a little closer to the vampire. Gabriel had only befriended one vampire in his life, and that vampire is Spike. Gabriel wasn't really too keen on anything of the supernatural being, since he is an archangel. The only people he would surround himself with are Maddie, Dean and Sam. Gabriel liked it that way. Made things a lot more easier in the end for him. Sure, there was also Buffy and willow, but Gabriel just knows them through Maddie's dreams. They weren't his friends, they were hers. Maybe, if they considered him a friend he would do the same, but the youngest archangel wasn't about to leap tall buildings in a single leap for them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Elijah grinned when the man said that he didn't feel like revealing his name right now.He had also had the same sentiment on different occasions. He understood. He then lowered his paper and folded it in half then motioned for the man to join him in having a seat and a cup of coffee. "Please join me" He then took a sip of the warm fluid,instantly warming his cold body.One of the many inconveniences of living as a vampire.Even if he wasn't allowed to know the mans name,he was intrigued nonetheless. He also wanted to make sure that this man would not be able to interfere with any of his plans here in Mystic Falls, and by that he meant that this man was going to leave the Gilbert's and Salvatore's alone. If he would oblige the ancient vampire, then they would have no problems. He then looked to the man and said "If you will not give me your name,would please oblige me as to why you find yourself here in Mystic Falls then?" Elijah was an old fashioned man and believed in manners in every sense. A trait that had seemed to be lost throughout time. "I ask only to ensure the safety of people i am protecting,if you have no interest in them then we may part and I will not interfere in your venture here" He could be a pleasant person to be around if given the chance, and he did understand why at times others did not see him in that way.

The Trickster stood there staring at the old vampire, standing the presence of him was something that the Trickster thought he would mind but since he sort of had this buddy thing going on with Spike, as much as he didn’t like to admit it, being by a vampire seemed almost normal. The Trickster looked at him when he asked for him to sit down and join him in a cup of coffee. The Trickster did just that. The youngest archangel wondered if there could be something accomplished here, talking to the vampire.
The Trickster took a sip of the coffee and looked at him when he started talking. So in the end this was a threat. A smirk had appeared on his face. This was a conversation that he didn’t want to have right now but if the vampire needed to know so badly. “here for a visit. Havent been here in a long while.” Gabriel replied and he then looked up from his coffee at the vampire again. “cant guarantee that at all. See, the way I work is punish the people that deserve it. If I catch them in any sort of act or just on a whim, well, my punishments are…” Gabriel paused a moment, wondering if he could get under his skin. This is how he will get back at him for bringing it up. “very creative. Or, I may just want to kill them anyway because of you bringing it up to me. Its all in my nature.” the Trickster smirked.
The youngest archangel shook his head and he took another sip of his coffee. “I guess if I said all that a name is necessary right? Just call me The Trickster or Loki, though people usually call me the Trickster.” Gabriel said with that smirk on his face still.

----------------------- ----------------------- He smirked when the figure in question said that he was here for a vist and basically sent a threat his way saying that he had things to do and get creative. Elijah could be rather creative when the situation warranted it as well. He had done things that even the history books had mentioned over the years..too bad they coudln't give credit. Then again it would jeopardize the being a vampire easy to kill us and whatnot. The sacrifices we must make.He was pleased when the man joined him and then he divulged his name. Loki and the Trickster. So this was Loki. The loki that the nordic legends spoke of many years ago. He had heard the tales as a young boy from his father and he had to say that he almost felt a bit awed and starstruck.
When he was young he and Niklaus would pretend to be Loki and play tricks on their other siblings. What a world we live in.He then said to the man "Well I can honestly say that it is a true priviledge and honor to meet you, I was told tales of you as a young boy I even pretended to be you I use to bother my siblings insessantly" He then sipped his coffee looking the man over. He had to say that his initial impression did not give off any tells whatsoever about him being an angel nevermind an archangel.He was doing his best to be respectful when he said this to Loki, "I only ask if you have any intention with the Gilbert family? They are the ones I am protecting if not, then I welcome your presence here sir" -----------------------

The Trickster looked at the old vampire and he smiled. He took a sip from the coffee, almost finishing it. He noted the silence that was between the both of them. He loved this silence a lot. It was the silence of people realizing who he was, or who he was pretending to be. It was more fun when he said his name was Gabriel, though at this point he couldn’t do that because he would jeopardize a lot of things. The Trickster put his feet on top of the table, something he did often to play the part. He was in a rather strange mood at the moment, maybe playing with this guy would be the fun of the day. The youngest archangel pulled out a chocolate bar from his coat pocket and opened it. He took a bite from the chocolate bar and he looked over at the vampire again.
The Trickster looked at him and smiled as the vampire started talking about how it was a privilege to meet Gabriel or rather in this case, Loki. He said that he pretended to be Loki when he was a child. Gabriel gave a slight laugh. That was, rather cute. The Trickster finished his coffee and he looked at the vampire.
“well, that’s very cute of you. Glad to know my reputation precedes me.” The Trickster stated with his devilish smirk. It was once he hadn’t used in a long time. He was actually really happy that he was able to play the part again, play the part that he had played for centuries.
The Trickster looked at him when he started talking again. The youngest archangel looked at him out of confusion. Now, he was more confused than ever. The vampire mentioned a family with the last name of Gilbert. He had no clue who they were nor did he really care.
“uh name doesn’t ring a bell. have no clue who they are, nor do I really give a damn.” The Trickster gave him one of his sly smiles.

----------------------- ----------------------- When the trickster mentioned that he didn't give a damn then as far as Elijah was concerned everything was fair game.He would leave his old idol alone and it appeared he would stay out of his affairs as well.The last thing he needed was an angel interfering. He had so much on his plate already as it stood. His cell phone then buzzed. A text from Elena. It appeared that he would have to cut his visit with the archangel short. He really didn't want to but Elena only texted when it was serious. This also made him worry. What could it be now?
He finished his drink quickly, then decided he best be off. He arose from his seat and said "I apologize but I am afraid we have to cut our visit here short, I have pressing matters to attend to it seems" He then gave a small wave in farewell to the angel. He had so many questions, but apparently so little time. No matter maybe they would meet up again and Elijah would get the answers he sought. He was always wanting to gain more knowledge of the world and having a chat with Loki would have been an amazaing opportunity. He buttoned up his suit jacket and said as he turned back towards the angel "Until we meet again oh and by the way, enjoy your stay in Mystic Falls" With a small smile on his face, he was off. He then sped away. ----------------------- Notes: TOPIC CLOSED
