- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Okay, so she was more than frustrated with the way tonight had turned out. She had been told by Bob, one of the teachers who worked at Richmond High School, that there was a staff mixer tonight and that all the staff was intended to be there. She had tried to track down Joshua to ask him if he was planning on going and if he wanted to ride together (which was basically just an excuse to see if he would talk to or not since he was still majorly avoiding her) but unfortunately he had already left for the day so she figured she would corner him at the mixer itself.
Yeah she had been wrong.
She had even gotten Kathy and Willow’s opinions on outfits, not wanting to appear too casual yet not wanting to appear like she was hitting up Vegas. After trying out the same four dresses three times each (yeah, she knew there was something wrong with that but whatever, she needed their help) they had all three agreed on a simple black dress that hit her right at the knee, a pair of black heels that weren't that high, a Tiffany & Co necklace and a Tiffany & Co ring. She had put her hair up in a simple French Twist and figured she looked professional yet still was able to allow a bit of her personality to shine through. She had briefly mentioned the mixer to Angel and he had said something along the lines of an overcoat or a ski jacket...
Looking back on it she should have probably taken his suggestion.
What she hadn’t been informed was that ‘faculty mixer’ had actually been a code word in Bob’s book for date. So when she showed up at the restaurant and saw Bob sitting there by himself waiting for her, she had immediately realized what was going on. Asking simply to be polite if everyone else had backed out, he had come clean, saying that he had been too nervous to ask her out on a date and that he had wanted to spend time with her away from school. Now, this would have usually been flattering, had it not been incredibly awkward. For one thing, Bob was at least 12 or 13 years older than she was…granted not as old as some of her other relationships but still, at least they didn’t look their age…though that clearly wasn’t the point. Unfortunately Bob did look his age, actually he looked a few years older than he really was, with thinning hair and glasses…definitely not her type.
Add to that the fact that she was taken, yeah, it had definitely been an awkward goodbye. She hadn’t stayed, hadn’t even sat down, had simply told him that as flattering as it was that she was in a serious relationship and had been for many years…and had turned around and left (after wishing him a goodnight of course…she did have to work with the man after all). Unfortunately this definitely didn’t seem to be her night as right as she was passing a gas station she felt her tire blow out. Luckily she had been passing said gas station and was able to pull in but no one was picking up their phones and she really didn’t want to walk the twenty miles back to the boarding house. She figured she would wait a bit longer and try calling someone again before starting the long hike home.
Hopefully someone would answer the damn phone and come pick her up.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -What night for Dean he just got done taking care of a case with Gabriel, they had to help get a ghost out of Chuck and Becky’s new house. Some case that was that was, he never though it was going to be over. Surprisingly Dean though that Becky wouldn’t be sacred, thinking that it might be cool that she was right there when something Supernatural was going on. But no she was like a screaming girl who has just seen a mouse, now if Sam was there she probably would have just been fine like nothing was even wrong. What was Dean not good enough or something, hell he taught Sam his hunting skills. Well most of them anyway.
Dean was just trying to have a nice long drive back having to clear his head after all this. He wished he had something to take the edge off, and Sex right now would so do the trick. But its not really something Dean is jumping right into just seeing his new girlfriend, he really like her and he cant fuck this up. But because of that its has Dean very on edge. seeing his hot girl and not being able to do anything with her. He then looked down in the passenger seat floor and saw one of his magazines. “Is that what I think it is?” He then went to pick it up off the floor. “All right it is I have been meaning to look at this, oh man she is hot!” It was one of his busty Asian beauty Magazine that he had left on the floor to read. So he begin looking at it while trying to drive the Impala, probably not the smart thing to do but he was going to do it anyway.
Dean begin looking at it getting into what he was reading, (if you get what I mean) to the point the was not looking to where he was going. Finally he looked a head of him and when he did he was driving into the wrong lane right into a semi truck. “What the Fuck!” Dean threw the magazine down to the floor quickly fixing himself on the right side of the road. “I’m so sorry baby I almost killed you.” Dean then pulled into the nearest gas station after that to get himself together. Then as Dean was about to pull in he saw a familiar face on the side of road, so he pulled real close with the window down. “Hey Stranger it looks like you might need some help? You need a ride or something Buff? He hope that Buffy didn’t see his crazy driving before he pulled in, that would be the last thing he needed. The Slayer thinking he is drunk.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Alright, she was getting really annoyed with those that she called her friends…as well as her boy…man…whatever the hell she wanted to call Angel this week since they hadn’t exactly gotten things situated when it came to their relationship. She did know that they were spending most evenings together and they hugged and kissed and said that they loved one another, but there was no official title yet. She was honestly waiting for him to bring that up only because he was the one who had gotten hurt with everything that went down with Angelus and she didn’t want to press her luck any further than she already had. However a girl could wait forever and that’s what she felt like she was doing, but that wasn’t the point of her mental musings.
Either way she was getting frustrated with the fact that no one was picking up their damn phones nor were they answering her text messages. She had a sent Angel a text message earlier that simply said Kill me? Please. Faculty dinner wasn't what I expected...however I'm sure you'll find the entire situation amusing. He hadn't answered it and this was sent as she was leaving the parking lot of the restaurant. Then when her tire blew she sent him another one asking if he would come and pick her up as she had a car malfunction and he hadn't text messaged her back nor call her back. She had sent Willow, Giles, Tara, Kathy, and several others text messages that asked if anyone was around but again, no one responded. Yeah, she was going to have a chat with those that had ignored her messages as this was definitely not okay with her.
She leaned against her car that was still in the Quick Trip parking lot. This was pissing her off. She was giving them fifteen more minutes before she started walking. She knew that if they found out that she had walked the twenty miles back to town by herself they’d get all pissed off even though they knew that she could take care of herself…however that was their issue since she had tried to call them and they didn’t know how to pick up a phone, something that she was sure was taught to them in pre-school.
She heard a loud horn honk and turned around to face the street where a semi was passing, and it looked like the driver was cussing out someone driving an older black car that was still a pretty nice car. Squinting she looked to see who it was and was surprised when they pulled into the Quick Trip parking lot. Laughing a tiny bit when she realized it was Dean she grinned, relieved to see a familiar face. “Hey stranger. Nice driving.” She told him with a wink before nodding. “Actually yeah, I have a flat tire and apparently none of my friends know how to answer a phone…do you mind?” She asked him hopefully, hoping that he wouldn’t care.
Hearing that he wouldn’t mind at all she opened the passenger side door, seeing the magazine on the floor. She picked it up before he could hide it and quirked a blonde eyebrow at him, giving him a look that she doubted he could decipher. “Busy Asian Beauties huh?” She asked. “Is this what was so distracting?”

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -He couldn’t believe it out of all times he could run into Buffy Summers why did it have to be now, she had to of though he was crazy by his driving. Not to smooth on Dean’s part at all. She had to know something was up, the best he could do right now was just play it cool and make her think he was tired, which really wasn’t to far from the truth. With all the hunting going on and on top of that meeting up with Caroline, Dean really didn’t even know what sleep was anymore. He simply never found the time for it, but he figured he could sleep when he is dead. That is if he ever can stay dead long enough to get rest, it seems the Angels are never going to let that happen.
He gave the blond Slayer a big smile back. “Yeah I was kind of falling a sleep at the wheel, haven’t had much sleep lately. Out of all people you should understand what that’s like.” Dean tired to play it off, he really didn’t want Buffy thinking he was a sicko or something. “I don’t mind at all if you need a ride, if you like I can help you change the tired and get you one if you want?” He didn’t mind helping her at all working on cars was what Dean did best, well other then hunting of course. He learned that as well from none other then his dad, the man who tough him everything he knows. “So why do you think no one is answering there phones? I hope everyone is ok, I really don’t want us to have to kill someone again. Its not really on my list of to do things today, the day has all ready been crazy enough.” He said exhaling.
Then Buffy slid into the car taking a seat, but then he noticed something was up just by the look she had on her face. But when Dean looked down he all ready knew what she had spotted, he then tried to play it cool acting like it was nothing. He didn’t know what to say he was a loss of words. “No that’s not mine and I told you why I was distracted I was tired, I mean come on Buffy you know me I’m not strange or sick like that.” He said with a stutter to his voice. “I don’t look at porn while driving that’s is just wrong, that belongs to Sam which is why it is in the passenger seat.” He said giving her a big smile. He knew it was wrong throwing Sam under the bus like that but he will never know. He is pretty sure Buffy isn’t going to walk up and go “here’s you porn Sam!” At lest he hopes not anyway. “ So enough of that, so tell me Buffy what’s new with you? Things been going a lot better for you lately I hope?”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She laughed as she sat down, not saying a word until he commented on the magazine she had found. He seemed to be a bit flustered when he mentioned that it was his brother’s so she instead nodded, throwing the magazine into the back seat. She had a feeling he was lying but eh, really what could she do? Besides, she’d use it to embarrass him later…after all he was being exceptionally nice in giving her a ride so she figured using it later would be better than him bolting and her having to walk the twenty some odd miles back to the house…especially in the heels she was wearing. No thank you.
Smiling at his thoughtfulness she waved him off. “Thanks but it’s actually a rental. I need to go car shopping within the next week or so, still haven’t bought one. However I’ll just call the rental company tomorrow when they open and let them know since they are the ones who are responsible when it comes to fixing it. However I think it’s time for me to go get a new car.” She told him with a laugh, looking at her clock. It was only six at night and car places were open until 9 or 10, so she thought briefly about asking him to come with her but stopped that train of thought, not wanting to take up anymore of his time. She would drag Angel with her later, or maybe she would just go alone. Either way she wasn’t going to annoy Dean by dragging him to look for cars.
“As for where everyone is…I am sure they are all fine. There’s been a lot that’s gone on recently, including some old faces showing up when we weren’t sure if we would ever see them again. Willow’s girlfriend, Tara, I think you met her, they’re getting back on track with things so they’re probably out on a date somewhere. Xander, who I don’t think you met, is working on some stuff for work, the girls are probably out with Faith patrolling or doing something that I wouldn’t approve of, Spike is god knows where, and Kathy is who knows where.” She stated with a laugh, specifically leaving out Angel from her statement as she didn’t want to get into that topic of conversation quite yet. She knew Dean had questions left over from when he had gotten his butt kicked by Angelus, but really, how was she supposed to explain that?
“Like I said, things have been crazy. People have been showing up, there’s something coming…and until I know what it is, I don’t know how to fight it.” She stated ominously, though not going into any more detail. She didn’t want to start wigging him out just because she was freaking out a tiny bit. “What about you…how have you been? How’s your brother? Last time I saw him he was a bit out of sorts. You told me that he was going through some stuff but didn’t really give me the details. So come on Mr. Winchester, fess up.” She told him with a smile, letting him know that she was listening.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -It seemed like she had fell for it which was good, he really didn’t need her thinking he was a sicko or something. Dean really liked Buffy he thought that she was a pretty cool chick to hang with, plus they made a good fighting team. they Dean cant lie if they didn’t both have lovers he would probably try and get with her. But it still would probably result with a slap in the face. After all she was a pretty hot chick, and she was a girl that knew how to kick some ass. Its not that often that Dean can finds a girl that could kick his ass and keep him down, Sam cant even do that.
He though it was kind of cool that she was going to be in search of a new car, it made Dean wonder if maybe she wanted some car shopping help? It was something he was good with finding a car that fit’s the person, he did help his dad find there car after all. “Well if you need a shopping buddy let me know, cars are what I’m good at I can find a car that I know you will just love. So I think we so should go and find you a car, what you say?” he said while gripping the steering wheel to his baby. There was just something about cars that calmed him down, which was why he drove so much everywhere. Yup just his Impala and some Metallica was really all he needed to mellow out, he was a simple man really. Well sometimes he was anyway.
He really was happy to have Buffy here with him, he was in need of a friend to talk to. Sam was busy off doing something and as always Cass was nowhere to be found, but no surprise there. “Well that’s good that all your friends are doing fine, it does sound like you guys all have your hands full right now.” He then stopped for a moment when she said something about a guy named Spike. “ wait a minute you know I met a guy named Spike just the other night at a bar, I wonder if it’s the same guy that you are talking about. I mean how many people do you meet with the name Spike.” He said with a bit of a laugh.
She then wanted to know how things were with him, and really they were just as crazy. People seem to be coming back left and right for him as well, but still he has no idea why. “Well you know Buffy speaking people coming back from the dead, that seems to be happing a lot lately for me too. An old friend of mine is back from the dead all the sudden and I have no idea how. Plus an old enemy is even back from the dead, even though I wish the bitch was as good as Dead.” He said trying to hold back his anger. “But you will be happy to know that Sam is doing a lot better then before, he even has is soul back! So you really need to meet him again, the real Sam this time.” He said giving her a smile.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Hearing his offer she briefly thought again about declining but then she figured why not. Dean was a nice guy as far as she could tell. Sure he seemed to be a bit too much into the ladies by the way she had seen him checking a couple girls out and then she had seen him more than once give her the once over, but then again, what guy in his early thirties, especially one that was single, wasn't? Hell if she wanted to get technical, what guy at all, regardless of age or relationship status, wasn’t into checking out most girls?
"You know what, that would actually be great." She told him with an award winning smile. "I have an SUV on hold for the boarding house itself but I need a car for myself. I don't mind having to drive the boarding house one when I have to take a bunch of girls to and from some place, but it'd be nice to have my own." She stated before laughing a sarcastic laugh. "I'm definitely not an SUV girl. I bought a Ford Edge which is actually pretty nice but it's definitely not my dream car so yeah, lead the way...I am absolutely useless with cars other than telling someone if they are pretty or not so I'm going to let you take the reins on this one." She stated, waiting for him to start driving.
Nodding as she rested back into the seat, quickly putting her seatbelt on and wishing that there was a headrest behind her so she could relax but ignoring that selfish wish by listening to Dean talk about what was going on. Hearing that he knew a guy named Spike she laughed. "Let me guess, peroxide blonde hair, dark clothing, has a Billy Idol look?" She asked him, assuming that she was right before he even answered the question. "Yeah, he's a good friend of mine." She didn't elaborate, knowing that not many people would understand the complexity of her relationship with Spike. Also she wasn't sure if he had been informed of Spike's vampire status and not wanting to open that particular can of worms.
"Not sure what's going on about all the random people being brought back from the dead but it's creeping me out. I mean I know I have no friggin room to talk but still..." She trailed off, not really wanting to get into her whole 'being brought back from heaven' thing. Also it sounded really insensitive to say what she was getting ready to say which was 'when people die can't they just stay dead?'. She really didn't mean that when it came to her friends but it was a bit disconcerting.
"I'm glad that Sam's back. I thought that the last time we talked you said you hadn't found a way to get his soul back. What happened?" She wondered, knowing that she had completely forgotten to ask for Willow's help with everything that went on with Angelus. She immediately felt guilty though she was incredibly glad that Dean had found a way to get his brother back himself. "I would love to meet the real Sam...since the last one I met was sort of an asshole." She stated, winking at him to let him know she was just kidding around.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -It really felt nice getting to really talk to someone for once, its not that he couldn’t talk to Sam but it was nice to talk to someone other then him. Someone that was outside the family, Dean wished he could talk to Cass but these days but he is nowhere to be found. He must be off dealing with heavens bullshit somewhere, he really could careless anymore he gave up on him a time long ago. It would be been nice if Bobby would come back from hunting with Rufus, Dean could really use him around these days. He missed having him around, he was like a father to him.
Dean could get why Buffy needed a car, after while a girl gets tired of driving that big thing around. It a nice car yes but really it could be much more stylish, and Dean could see Buffy in a car of style. “No I can tell that you aren’t SUV girl, I can see you more in a nice sporty car. Something that has more speed to it, and something that you can put the top down. You know that way in case your in a high speed Slayer chase, much easier to throw something with the top down. Then way you can Slay in style.” He said giving her a big grin. “Just please tell me you aren’t the pink type, you know fussy pink steering wheel with the pink fussy dice to go along with it.” He asked laughing hoping she would say no. So Dean was on his way taking them to the car dealership, excited that he was going be chilling with her for awhile. He needed some fun and time away from hunting, he was sure Buffy did to. So this whole thing was going to be good for the both of them. Plus they haven’t really ever gotten to hang out and talk, all the other times they have seen each other there was always drama along with it.
It seemed that she was talking about the same person that Dean had met, it really was a small world after all. “Yeah Spike is a pretty cool guy, I had a hell of a time playing darts drinking with him. I got pretty wasted myself but what else it new, so how you know him then he work with you or something” he asked the Slayer in a curious tone. It seemed everyone that he had met lately new someone that he knew some how, man it must be a much smaller town then he thought. But not just that the town also had some pretty crazy shit going on with it as well, Buffy seemed just as lost as Dean did. “Yeah I wish I knew how everyone was coming back like this, I mean it isn’t easy shit usually an Angel only can swing it. I mean look I have a scar from the Angel that pulled me out” He then begin to pull up his sleeve showing her the scar. “and let me tell you it was sore as hell. It sucks coming back from the dead your lost you have no idea what’s going on, you feel like you have been gone for years when really it could only be like three months.” Dean didn’t know if Buffy knew that he had died and came back, but it was sure that she did now.
She wanted to know how Sam got his soul back, when really it goes back to the Angels again. But it wasn’t just any Angel it was Jessica Moore the love Sam’s life, she came back to bring Sam back to life and Dean will never forget her for it. “Well it’s a crazy story really, lets just say a very special Angel brought it back to him.” He said giving her a smile. “But don’t worry I’m sure you will meet Sam sooner or later, I know you to well get along great.”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She couldn't help but laugh at Dean's comment about slaying in style. "I can't imagine what I would do if I had to be in a high speed car chase. You'll be surprised to know that it's only been within the last couple of years that I was even allowed to drive. I think I was eighteen or nineteen before anyone wanted to get in the car with me. My mom wouldn't even let me take my driver's test until a couple of months after my eighteenth birthday." She told him with a laugh, though there was a slight pain in her eyes as she thought about it. She could still remember her prophetic dream where her mother asked her if she was ready and dropped the plate, she could remember talking to Riley about her and cars being unmixy things...she could remember it all.
Refusing to go down memory lane at the moment seeing as she was having a fair bit of fun surprisingly enough, she pushed her memories down to the darkest recesses of her brain. "No, I'm definitely not a pink girl period to tell you the truth." She stated honestly. "I think the last time I wore anything pink was to my senior prom." She told him with a laugh, trying as hard as she could to think if she had worn pink anytime after that and coming up completely blank. "Plus I don't like to be identified with the type of car I'm driving. No flames on the side or anything of that sorts...I know too many people who would trash my car if they knew it was mine just on principal." She told him honestly, knowing that he would understand what she meant.
Hearing his question about Spike she nodded, leaning back to try and get as comfortable as she could. Note to self, make sure that her new car had headrests...this whole not being able to lay her head back thing was annoying her to no end. "Sort of. He was actually my mortal enemy for years...then sort of got stuck helping me, then actually wanted to help. It was definitely a complete 180 for Spike." She told him, not really wanting to get that much into detail about it. For one thing she had no idea if he knew that Spike was a vampire and for another thing the fight with Spike was still fresh in her mind and again, she didn't want to dwell on it.
Seeing his scar from where he had been brought back from the dead apparently she nodded sadly. "Trust me when I say, I know exactly what you mean." She told him, not getting too far into it but letting him know in less than so many words that she understood what it was like. She wouldn't wish the feeling of being brought back from the dead on her worst enemy, let alone someone that she cared about. "Try being gone for five and a half months." She told him honestly, remembering how she had felt when Spike told her how long she had been gone. How long was I gone? Hundred forty-seven days yesterday. Uh... hundred forty-eight today. 'Cept today doesn't count, does it?
She smiled at his wording...a very special angel. Even though he was clearly not talking about her Angel she couldn't help but thinking of him anyway. Even though she was highly frustrated with him at the moment since he had apparently turned his friggin phone off (not that she had any room to talk mind you) that didn't mean she didn't think about him more than she probably should. Looking up she noticed they had already pulled into a Ford dealership. She quirked her eyebrow at him. "Alright Mr. Car-Man. Show me what you think is a good car for me. Just warning you I'm a picky woman so this may take a bit." She stated with a laugh before opening the door to the Impala and getting out.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -He couldn’t believe that Her mom made her wait so long before she could take her test, that was just crazy and would drive Dean nuts. Hell his dad taught him how to drive the Impala when he was just eight years old, he couldn’t get his license yet but that didn’t stop him from driving. Yeah any chance that he could he drove that car, windows down and music up as loud as he could. He always hoped that one day this car would be his, and here he his now holding the steering wheel driving his baby. And nothing could ever take this car away from him, nothing.
He wondered if that upset Buffy having to wait that long. “Wow that would drive me crazy having to wait that long, I bet you had to hate that. But then again I’m sure you mom had good reason trying to keep you safe. Does your mom know you are a Slayer?” that could have been the whole reason why she couldn’t drive right there, trying to keep her safe. The only real reason Dean got to really was because he had to learn everything at a young age, he wished his mom was around telling him no. But his mom was killed by a demon so he had to learn how to shoot, how to kill, how clean guns, and how to drive. Thing a normal kid wouldn’t do.
Dean knew that Buffy wasn’t that kind of girl, she was way to cool for all that pink. But he just had to ask he has been known to be wrong more times then once. He could get why she didn’t want to be identified like that, he couldn’t blame her. “Yeah I get why you would want your car like that, but I’m sorry I have to ask Senior prom huh. I never went to one of those, how was that? Did they make you prom queen or anything.” He said giving her a smile. Dean could see Buffy being that type popular with lot of friends, maybe even making head cheerleader. But he was wrong about her liking pink so who knows, he could be so wrong. Its just that Buffy is such a sweet yet cute girl to the point the could see the whole school wanting to be her. Dean was kind of like that all the guys wanted to be and cool as him, and all the girls wanted to sleep with him. He couldn’t help it he was just cool like that.
Dean kind of wondered if he should watch out for Spike after hearing that, all though he had that same thing happen with people before too. Gabe wanted Dean dead forever and look at them now, they are like best buddy’s who hang out and party. But the reason he was a bit worry about him was because of how she was acting, she almost seemed like she was uncountable to talk about him. But then again maybe that was just Dean being paranoid. “Well let me ask you can I trust Spike or should I steer clear of him?” He asked the Slayer. He hope that he was a ok dude because he really enjoyed getting drunk playing darts with him, but these days who knows it seems you cant trust anyone.
After Dean showed Buffy his scar she almost acted like she understood, like she had died before or something. Saying how she knew what he meant, and telling Dean she was gone for five months. He could tell that it wasn’t really something she wanted to talk about, but Dean was interested he wanted to know. “What you mean by I know exactly what you mean, have you died or something Buff? I thought you were to kick ass to be killed” He asked hoping she would tell him.
They then had made it to the dealership on there way to getting her a car, Dean couldn’t wait he loved anything cars. “don’t worry about being picky, I’m the same way with my cars. So lets do this thing.” He said getting out of the Impala with her.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Hearing his question about her mom she smiled sadly. "She didn't find out until I was seventeen." She told him, her memories crystal clear of all the times that she had wished and prayed that she could tell her mom what she was. At one time she had entertained the thought, only to keep her safe. When Angelus had the ability to walk anytime throughout her house she had brought up telling her to Giles, but he had shot her down...telling her that the more people that knew the more danger that they were in. To this day she wasn't sure if she believed that but it didn't do much good to think about it so she never questioned it. "I was called when I was fifteen and kept it from her for two and a half years." She told him. "Spike was actually there when I told her. Spike and I were talking to my mom and this vampire jumped out and attacked up. I quickly staked it right in front of my mom and she just sort of looked at me like she had never seen me before...needless to say I couldn't exactly get out of telling her at that point." She stated, laughing a bit at the memory of it all.
For some reason the thought of her and Spike trying to convince her mother that they were in a band together was forced to her mind...though she really had no idea why other than it happened the same night. What, your mum doesn't know? Know what? That I'm uh... in a band. A-a rock band with Spike here. Right, she plays the, the triangle. Drums. Drums, yeah. She's uh, hell on the old skins, you know. Hmm. And, uh, what do you do? Well, I sing. She doubted Spike would want her to let anyone know that particular anecdote so she saved it for future harassment and went back to what she was saying before. “She didn’t handle it very well to be honest. I was attempting to do something very big and she didn’t want to let me out of the house. I told her that I couldn’t stay and she ended up telling me if I left not to come back. I left and ended up leaving town for a few months, not wanting to argue with her. I came back and luckily she seemed to tolerate the whole slayer thing.” She stated before explaining further. “However she died about three and a half years ago.” She told him, not wanting to talk about it any longer.
She couldn't help but laugh at the question about senior prom. "Yeah senior prom was interesting i'll tell ya that. I'm honestly not sure who got elected Prom Queen...though I did get elected class protector. Apparently the students at my high school weren't as oblivious as we all wanted to believe to the stuff that went on at night. Apparently my graduating class had the lowest mortality rate of the past however many years. It was a nice surprise." She told him, smiling at the memory of hearing her name called out. Granted that wasn't the only thing that had made that night special, but she figured Dean probably wouldn't want to hear about it so she refrained from commenting. "How could you have never gone to a senior prom? That's not at all cool Dean." She stated with a laugh, knowing that her statement sounded like she was back in high school but not really caring. “If I get dragged into chaperoning another dance at one of the schools here you’re getting dragged along with everyone else…just letting you know this now.” She told him honestly.
Hearing his question about Spike she smiled. "You can trust him. He's a good guy for the most part. I mean I wouldn't trust him with your car or with gambling or anything like that...but he's protected me and my sister on more than one occasion and for the last couple of years he's always been there when I needed him." She told him, omitting some of the finer details but refusing to get into them. She had already opened up to Angel about those and since then he had made it his mission to tear Spike apart...he wasn't going to send two guys after the blonde vampire.
Stepping out of the car she headed over to the first smaller car that she saw, noting that it was a 2013 Black Ford Taurus. "This is much too old ladyish...though I do like the color." She stated with a laugh. Walking towards the next row she saw a red convertible and laughed a little as she remembered her fourteen year old self's fantasy of owning a little red sports car. Now granted this wasn't what she would call little but it was still a sports car, red and a convertible. However for some reason she didn't feel like it fit her too well. It was a 2013 Red Ford Mustang and whle she liked it, it just didn't scream her. It looked like too much of a guy's car rather than a girl's car. "Any ideas?" She asked him.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Dean couldn’t believe that Buffy was able to keep it from her mom for that long, he couldn’t keep anything from his dad if he tired. That’s part of the reason that Sam didn’t get along well with there dad is because he kept things from him, about not wanting to be with them, and wanting a life with collage. When it finally all came out how he felt about them, it wasn’t good made it a whole lot worse that he didn’t tell them what he had planed. But really who would want to try to live a normal life when they truly know what’s out there, it kind of kills and takes all that away from you. Which was why at that time he didn’t get what Sam wanted it.
He was shocked to hear how young Buffy was when she was called, she was still pretty much just a kid. But Dean could relate to what she was going threw, he was only eight years old when his dad started to prepare him for hunting. “Man fifteen is really young, I’m sorry that you had to go threw this at such a young age. But I can understand what you are going threw, my dad started training me for hunting when I was only eight years old. It was cool at times I cant lie, but there was a part of me that did just want to be a kid you know.” It was true Dean did miss some of things that kids would do, like having his dad coach his baseball team, playing outside riding his bike, having friends, hell even school. But Sam and him weren’t so lucky to have a life like that.
Dean laughed along with Buffy about being found out by her mom, it seemed like at the point she didn’t have any choice. “Your mom had to be freaking the hell out, I mean you just stabbed a guy right in front of her. Poor woman that had to be tough to see, I know the first time Sam saw dad kill something it was hell on him.” It was true Sam didn’t take very well at first to all the hunting and killing, Dean knew way before Sam because there Dad knew what it would do to him. Plus he was so young, Sam was just a baby when Dean and john started. But you know the first time Dean saw his dad kill it did something to him to, he just never showed it because that’s just how he works. Holding in his is way of dealing.
Dean could tell that her mom was touchy subject and didn’t really like to speak about, he was right there with her he was the same way. Mary being dead is really not something he likes to think about at all, but he knew he should at lest tell Buffy something about him. The poor girl had been really pouring her heart out to him, it also felt good to have someone to relate to on these things. “Well my mom has been Dead since I was four, she was killed right over Sam in his crib. Held up on the ceiling by a demon bleeding over my brother, then she burned.” He stopped for a moment trying not to get upset and shed tears, it was the last thing he wanted right now. “But We all finally killed the son of a bitch that got my Mom, he is gone for good now.” Dean said giving Buffy a smile. “Feels good to kill something that takes everything away from you isn’t it.”
Dean had never heard of such award that she had gotten, but he never had gone to school much so what didn’t he know really what they gave in school. Plus when he was there he didn’t listen much, he mostly checked out all the girls in class. He wishes he would have listened more though it would have done him some good. “That’s a cool that you got that, nice one Buff! But no I never went to no prom, I probably would have just been somewhere making out with some chick anyway. I was bad in school I know don’t judged me please.” He said looking over at Buffy knowing she had to think he was an ass, but in school with girls he cant lie he was. His respect for woman has gotten a lot better, thank god for that. He laughed with Buffy when she said she was dragging him to a dance. “Ok well let me know when there is one and I will be your date for the night. That is if your Boyfriend is ok with it, I will give you right back I swear.” He said joking with her.
Not long after chatting in the car they had made to the car dealership. He got right when Buffy did ready to look at some cars, something that Dean loved to do. The first one they looked at really didn’t scream her at all. “Yeah it is way to old ladyish but I do have to agree I do love black.” He said smiling looking over at his baby, oh how he loved his Impala. He then walked past the red mustang with Buffy, he gave it a quick look at its beauty. He knew one thing it would be fast as hell but way to flashy for her. She seemed lost and wanted to know ideas. “Well tell me this what does this car you want have to have? Like what feature do you want?”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Hearing that his father started training him at eight to become a hunter made her heart ache. She couldn't imagine being that young and trying to learn how to fight. She thought about the younger potentials that had been called. Some of them were just babies and she put her foot down on alerting them that they had been called. She and Giles had thought long and hard about how to handle the younger potentials and once they had come up with an idea they both agreed with, they ran with it full speed ahead. It wasn’t something that everyone had agreed with them about but it was the only thing they could think to do that they were comfortable with.
They had figured a decent age (though still young, it was an age that they could handle) was fifteen. Any girl that had been called at a younger age than fifteen would have their strength bound (thanks to Willow and a powerful coven who had learned the spells that they could do from a distance) until they were old enough to be called. Those potentials then would be told about everything after they turned fifteen and if they decided not to train as a slayer, then they would simply have that conversation wiped from their memory and would never know any different. If they decided to train as a slayer then the coven would unbind their strength and they would be trained. Personally Buffy wished they could do that to everyone but unfortunately they weren’t able to do so. That was the plan though anytime a new potential slayer came up on the list from now on.
According to Giles potential slayers were known by the watcher’s council immediately among birth. Anytime a new one came upon the list their strength was immediately bound until they were called. This didn’t mean that they would only call one at a time as having multiple slayers was working out well in order to keep the demon population down, but this did mean that they had to have a constant watch on those who were named a potential slayer. Personally she had never thought exactly how they were called until she had helped Giles found the slayer school and rebuild the Watcher’s Council, but she would admit that after learning about it she did feel a bit less resentful to the former Watcher’s Council.
Not much, but a little.
"Trust me I understand." She told him, breaking out of her thoughts. "I hated the fact that my teenage years were suddenly taken away from me with the snap of a fingers...so I can't imagine having that happen at eight. And you had a younger brother too...I can't imagine." She simply stated, not wanting to get more in depth about the sibling thing. Realistically Dean thought that she had a sister growing up too...but that wasn't actually true. Dawn didn't appear to her until a few years ago and while she had memories of her life with Dawn, she also had them without her...something that no one knew. She would never want anyone to know only because they would ask her questions and it was a hundred times more likely that Dawn would find out if she told anyone rather than keeping it to herself.
"Yeah, my mom definitely freaked out." She stated, laughing at the memory, which was a surprise because it really wasn't a happy memory. "Like I said I ran away for a few months and then came back. She at first just tried to ignore it but then she tried to get involved in it. Neither really were good solutions to be honest." She told him, remembering how her mother had come on patrol with her one day and found those two children who hadn't really been children. "Luckily that didn't last long and after awhile she just sort of got to the point where she would tell me to be careful and would listen if there was something I needed to talk to her about, but other than that she just left it alone." She preferred it that way to be honest, but that thought she didn't vocalize.
Hearing about how Dean's mom died her eyes widened. "Oh my god Dean, I'm sorry." She told him, not knowing really what to say. Her mother's death had been sudden, sure, but not in the way that it seemed Dean's had. Her mother had been sick while she had never expected to walk in and find her dead on the couch, she had however known that it could happen. She never wanted to admit that to anyone but she had known. Her mother had promised that if something happened that she protect Dawn...and that's what she did. Hearing that Dean and Sam had killed the demon that killed their mother she couldn't help but smile. "Good, because if you hadn't...I was going to offer to help." She told him honestly, her eyes flashing with the sincerity of her statement. She nodded once when he asked her if it felt good to kill something that took someone away from you. “Yes it does.” She told him honestly, but didn’t elaborate.
She snickered slightly when Dean asked her not to judge him before shooting him a look. "Please, you don't think that I had you pinned from the second I met you?" She asked with a smile, letting him know that she was just teasing him. "I've met a lot of people in my life and you are definitely not one that's hard to read. I can totally see you showing up at prom with one girl and being in the back seat with another by the time prom is over." She stated before realizing that this could be taken in a mean way and shook her head. "I don't mean that to offend you...what I mean is that you have that personality and the looks to get girls...so it doesn't surprise me that you had your fair share back in school. Hell you probably still have teenagers hitting on you now." She told him honestly, again laughing a bit.
The boyfriend comment caught her off guard a bit and she tried to laugh through it but it came out a bit forced. "Yeah, we'll see." She told him honestly, though she knew that while Angel may not want to get dragged to any function, she doubted that he would let her go with anyone else. He may not be her 'boyfriend' at the moment but they were each other's soul mates and that meant that they belonged to one another. She was possessive of him in the same way that he was possessive of her. If she found out that he took some other girl to a dance she would be heated, and she had a feeling that he would be too. However she appreciated the offer from Dean and didn't want to make him feel bad so she simply smiled. "You never know, I may just drag both of you along." She stated before turning the subject back to cars.
Hearing his question she shrugged. "Something that's not too flashy but at the same time not too old ladyish." She stated with a laugh. "Definitely something with a cd player and an iPod hook up only because I know my sister will freak out if it doesn't have both." She told him, remembering Dawn whining about how their mother's jeep had no way to plug in an iPod when the device first came out. "Power windows, locks, and a good alarm system. Something that isn't going to be hard on gas as I know I'm going to end up driving it a lot and I don't want to spend more on gas than the car itself." She told him with a laugh before grinning sheepishly. "It'd be awesome if it was a convertible too but that's just my teenage self talking so it's not a necessity."
She sighed as she looked around, none of these cars were catching her eye. “Alright, I’m guessing Ford isn’t the place that I’m going to find my dream car so to speak.” She stated with a laugh. “Let’s hit the next dealership before they close.” She didn’t wait for him to say anything before taking his arm and dragging him back to his car, sliding into the passenger seat and waiting for him to start up the car and head out of the car dealership.
The silence in the car was uncomfortable as the blonde slayer looked out the passenger seat window, but it wasn’t to last as she saw something skid out into the road. “LOOK OUT!” She yelled, though it was in vain as she felt Dean swerve and the car hit something hard, glass shattering all over them. She could feel a trail of blood running down where her heat hit the window and could feel the pounding in her head, but she was more interested in if Dean was alright and the man in the road who was standing there with a smirk.
Something wasn’t right.

--------------------------- --------------------------- [/size] He was not at all happy. Not that he was ever happy since that wasn’t an emotion that he really knew much about, but still, the fact still remained. Unhappy was a polite word for what he was, though he was anything but polite…no, he was furious. He had the perfect plan, but all because of one person’s selfish acts the plan went up in flames. Not that he didn’t have back up beyond back up but still, he didn’t like when things did not go his way. He had never been a fan of not getting what he wanted, but in this case it was even more true.
He knew what he had to do…it was time. He needed to take matters into his own hands instead of letting those around him continue to ruin his plans. If one wanted something done right they had to do it themselves…this was a prime example of such.
He thought of taking the body of his usual face, a man by the name of Max who he tended to portray quite well…however he had a different idea this time…one that would make things even better. He needed this group to know that he was serious, that he was not like all the other foes that they had won…that he was much much worse. Instead of taking the face of a random person, he took the face of someone that once of the occupants that he was currently waiting for would know quite well…though he doubted either would be able to move after he was done with them.
He stood off to the side, waiting, until he heard the sound of a load engine. He could see further than most could so he could see that the car was only a mile or so down the road. He needed to time this correctly or else he would miss his grand entrance, and if there was anything that he hated, it was when things didn’t go the way as planned. A quarter of mile now and the timing was perfect. Walking into the middle of the street he smiled serenely, watching as the young blonde screamed out and the man who was driving swerved, hitting a large tree. He briefly wondered if either had been injured beyond repair, as that did not go with what he wanted. However he could see both moving so he knew that his plan was still on.
Walking slowly he made his way to the car. “Hello there.” He stated as he rounded the side of the car, standing next to the passenger seat though he was facing both the man and woman. “Buffy Summers, the Vampire Slayer…and Dean Winchester…a Hunter. My My My. I think it’s time the three of us have met.” He stated simply.
He wasn’t one to rush things, he liked to prolong them.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -Most people don’t realize how hard car shopping can be, you have to find just the right thing to fit that person. But Dean Winchester he understands how important a car can be to a person, it has to have all things you need and want in a car. Dean 67 Chevy Impala has everything he could he ever want, it has the bright spot lights on each door, the kick ass stereo that Dean loves, a fast engine, and its nice and roomy making it easy for travel. Seeing that Sam and Dean pretty much live in the thing they need room after all. But the one thing that he loves about the car the most is all the memories, all the times that Dean spent with Sam and his dad in that thing. To this day he still remembers when Sam and him would just play for hours on end, hell they even carved there names underneath the dashboard. But there dad never knew that, and He might have killed them if he did. All theses things about the car mean so much to Dean, which is why he could never part with her.
“An Ipod hook up what is up with those things, Dawn she meet my brother he dies with out those in his car too. Me I’m a casstape man myself, but then again I’m old fashion I guess.” Buffy had all very good ideas to what she wanted in a car, but from what he was seeing looking around this car lot he could tell they just weren’t going to be what they were looking for. They just didn’t have that style and flare that he knew that she needed, after all this was going to be a car she would drive all the time like Dean car so it needed to scream her. He could tell that Buffy was frustrated by the way sighted, worried she wouldn’t find her car. “Don’t worry we will know when we find your car, I just don’t think a ford is really what you need. Why not try the Chevy dealer.” Dean said giving her a big smile. “They haven’t failed me yet. He followed Buffy back into the car, started it up, and way on there way to the next car lot.
The two in the car weren’t saying much as you could tell by the long drawn out silence. So he figured why not maybe put on some music, she he reached down to put in a tape. But when he did he dropped the tape down on the floor of the car, so he reached down to pick it up. Looking away for only a second he heard Buffy scream to look out. Dean suddenly looked back up and when he did he could see a man just standing there in the road. So he pulled the wheel hard causing him to swerve, trying to take control he couldn’t and before he knew they had hit something really hard. Dean head had hit the steering wheel so hard he couldn’t focus, everything was just a blur to him. He tried to get it together but it was hard from all the pain he was in, that was in till he heard someone say his name. He tried to regain focus to see who it was, and when he did he couldn’t believe who he was seeing. “Oh great did we die and go to hell, or is this a dream.” He said in a weak like tone.
