 Ruby looked at the gas gauge of her car and realized she had needed to fill up, she found the nearest gas station and pulled into it. She grabbed the gas nozzle and started to fill it up, Ruby leaned against the car while waiting for it to fill up. She was actually Tired which was rare for Ruby being a demon in all, she had been busy making Ben and Lisa believe that she was friends with Dean. It was really taking a lot out of her. But So far so good on the plain, she just needs to keep making them think she knows Dean without Dean finding out just yet. Dean is going to be in so much shocked when he see that Ruby is not dead, he is going to think he has seen a ghost.
Ruby is not really worried she knows this plain is going to work out just perfectly, its what Ruby was good at after all manipulating people into believe what she wanted them to and in the end getting her way. Her plain with Sam worked out in every way that she had wanted it to, except for the getting stabbed and it looking like it she was dead part. It too bad they didn’t know about the knife, Winchester weren’t that all and knowing as they though they were. But when it was all said and done she finished what she had started and her mission was accomplished.
The car was full and she was done filling it, so she took off the nozzle and put in back on the pump. Ruby knew now she had to pay, even though a part of her just wanted to go and leave. But with it being this late she really didn’t feel like running from cops right now, so she decided to head in a pay for the gas even though she didn’t want to. Ruby grabbed her cash out of the car and started to walk towards the gas station.

----------------------- [/size]  -----------------------[/size] Jo had some time before she had to be back at the hotel. She knew Dean wouldn't forgive her next time she screwed up and got herself into trouble so she was trying not to go looking for it. Though sometimes trouble just came looking for her, it was just her luck. She tried not to think or worry about the dangers of the outside world. She was all patched up now and she didn't feel as bad about making Dean worry about her. That was what she did, it seemed. She just couldn't help it. She always had to get herself into trouble and Dean was always watching her back. She felt like a caged animal in that stuffy hotel room and she just had to get out. She would probably regret it anyway because it just made her paranoid. She was paranoid enough though, for both her and Dean. He was worse though, at least Sam let her get out once in awhile. She tried to explain to him that she could take care of herself, that she didn't need a babysitter, and that she was tired of being treated with kid gloves. He might have a stroke if he knew she wasn't safe in the hotel, as she should be. She had a little money he had given her and she was going to get something to eat and go back to the hotel room. It would just take a half an hour to walk down the street and back. He would never know she was gone, or so she hoped.

She made her way inside the gas station, it was your typical run of the mill gas station nothing special. You could buy snacks, candy, magazines, news papers, and even those dumb fabric flowers you would buy for a loved one. Yep just a boring gas station, she looked over and noticed a fat man standing at the register picking his nose. He looked as though he didn’t do nothing but that, stood there all day long making easy money. What a waste of a human, bad enough they all ready exist they could at lest do something with there self’s. Ruby wished they would just all die off, god is dumb for even coming up with something as worth less as them.
Ruby began to look on the shelves for something to keep her amused, its not that Demons needed to eat it just they wanted to. Like how humans smoke, they don’t need to it just they want to. But over time does turn into an addiction, which is how Ruby is with food now. She then walked passed some French fries that were being kept warm under a heat lamp. Now Ruby couldn’t help herself around French she loved them more then anything on this earth, and there wasn’t much on this earth that she did love.
She begin filling up a tray full of fries putting on a shit ton of salt, then to top it off she begin putting a bunch of ketchup to the side. She then walked over to the fridge and grabbed a beer, she then quickly made her way to the register handing the man the money. After she was done she begin to make her way to the door, but as she was walking out the door she bumped into someone really hard. “Hey watch it!” She yelled at the girl.

----------------------- [/size] -----------------------[/size] The more time that passed, the more she realized she should be back at the hotel. She walked into the store, not even watching where she was going. She was too busy looking at other people and wondering if they were judging her or not. She'd never worried about this stuff before but now she was almost obsessed with it. She couldn't stand it if people didn't like her, which most usually did, and she didn't want to think about what they could be saying behind her back. She tried not to worry about it but it concerned her just a little bit, she had to admit. She knew she was a good person, even though she made plenty of mistakes. She had gone to heaven after all and not everyone gets a free pass there. She thought about her mother a lot and missed her more than she had ever missed anyone. Sometimes she just needed a friend and she didn't have that many of those. She was just going to get a drink, something to eat and get going back to the hotel. That was the plan at least. She didn't think she was going to run into someone. Of course, that was what happened when she didn't watch where she was going. She hadn't meant for it to happen, it just had, like most of the trouble in her life. She hadn't meant to fall in love with an unavailable guy, but she fell for Dean all the same. Though her feelings had changed since she'd came back from heaven, it still didn't change the fact that she had been in love with Dean for awhile before she'd died. It had still meant something, even if he would never know. Jo looked up when she felt herself bump into someone and hoped she hadn't done that much damage. She felt obligated to apoligize, even though the girl was being rude. "I'm sorry, that was my fault," she said kindly, "I'm just in a hurry." She knew if she didn't get back to the hotel by the time the boys got back that there would be hell to pay and she didn't want to hear any lectures from Dean. He was starting to sound like her mother, only worse.

The demon had bumped right into the girl, she almost had came out of no were. Ruby was not very happy at all right now she wasn’t one that liked getting bumped into, especially when they force her to spill her soda all over the front of her. She had just bought the shirt she was wearing too, at the moment she was very in to this outfit. But the worst part of all this for Ruby was she had spilled all of her fires on the ground, not ever leaving her one to eat. “ Really liked this shirt too, but some blond bimbo had to go fucking it up for me. You know you picked the wrong day for this do you know that!” She said with so much hate in her eyes towards the girl.
She was so pissed right now to the point she was having trouble keeping her eyes from going black, she really didn’t want them turning causing this girl would end up screaming staring a seen. And right now Ruby is in no mood for that. “Damn right its your fault look at my shirt its ruined, and the worst part of all this is you made me drop my fries. I really was looking forward to those. So my question is how are you going to fix all of this then?” She waiting to see what the human would say.
There was something about this girl thought, Ruby couldn’t place her but she almost felt like she might have known her from somewhere. But its hard because after while all humans start to look the same to Ruby sadly. Which made sense they all were the same fucked up creation that gad had made on this earth. All though she will never know why, they seem point less to her. Which for Ruby that feeling will never change nor go away.

----------------------- [/size] -----------------------[/size] She looked back at the girl. Jo was trying to be nice and she was being incredibly rude. So she had bumped into her? It wasn't that big of a deal. She thought this girl must just really like being bitchy. She contemplated just walking away and going back to the hotel but she wasn't going to be pushed around. She wished she could just snap her fingers and she would be gone. It was a great thing to imagine. She knew this was not a good place to have a confrontation such as this one and she was not in the mood for a girl fight. She wondered what she should do. Where was Dean when she needed him? She wasn't used to the world yet, much less the people in it. She didn't like the girls' attitude. So much for being quick and leaving, she thought. She sighed heavily. The girl seemed really mad and Jo didn't want to make her even more mad so she decided to give in and do whatever she could to make it up to her. She didn't know what she wanted her to do so she was confused. She had no idea how to handle this, being in a bad state of mind and not ready for any kind of confrontation. "What can I do?" she asked, feeling a bit helpless and out of control. She looked back at the girl, wondering what she was going to say. She hoped she wasn't going to be too harsh. Jo didn't know if she could handle it.

Ruby was so pissed right now it really was hard for not to have her demon side not come out. There were a few times her black eyes just wanted to come out and show themselves. But she really needed to keep a low profile, after all she had to much on her plate right now to have this bitch give her trouble as well. She still was on to finding Dean and killing him, it was number one on her list of things to do. She just needed to find were he has been hiding out this time.
It seemed as though she girl was just giving up and telling Ruby whatever she needed to hear. She really was a helpless and worthless human it seemed, it was hard for Ruby not to laugh right now. The demon could just smell the fear coming off of her, like a bad stench that wont go away. “You know there isn’t really anything you can do, I mean you could buy me some more fries and a soda. But it really wont change the fact that you bumped into me fucking up my shirt will it.” She asked the girl in a yelling like tone. “So how do you think you can fix all this little girl because I’m dying to hear the idea you have came up with.”
She knew that she had to be scaring the piss out of this girl, but it was ok she had been dying for a good laugh lately. Lord knows she has needed the action, this have been way to boring for the demon lately. “So how are you planning on fixing this, I’m dying to hear you answer.”

----------------------- [/size] -----------------------[/size] Jo was frustrated, to say the least. She really didn't know how to handle the situation and the girl wasn't being helpful at all. She didn't want to piss her off anymore than she had already. The girl obviously didn't like her, which she understood a little bit, but she didn't have to be so mean. Jo regretted even coming in the store now and thought that maybe she should leave. Though she didn't want to leave without making it up to her so she knew she couldn't do that. She couldn't think of a way to make it up to her and she wondered what she would want of her. Since she wasn't cooperating Jo had to figure it out for herself. She didn't like this situation at all. She was glad the girl wasn't making a scene but she didn't know why she was making a big deal of it. She didn't think it was such a big deal and the girl should get over it and move on but she wasn't so Jo figured she would have to find a way to make it up to her because she wasn't going to just let it go. "No, you're right," she told her, "And i don't know how I could make it up to you so why don't you tell me?" She didn't know what she wanted her to do and she couldn't leave. She couldn't get what she wanted and leave because the girl wasn't going to let it go just like that. She had admitted it was her fault and that she was wrong but she didn't know what else to do. She didn't feel very confident that she could get out of this so easily though.

She wasn’t making this fun for Ruby at all, she hoped that the girl would fight her a little bit. She was taking all the fun out of this. But what she expect this girl was nothing but a weak sad little human, so it was understandable her acting like this. Ruby was really surprised she hadn’t gone running hope to mommy by now, but the girl still was dealing with how Ruby was treating her after all so maybe she should back off a bit. Just so she could see what she could get out of this human, there had to be some use to her.
She did kind of like the way the little pathetic blond girl was sucking up to Ruby, she could really have fun with this. “Ok I tell you what get me some napkins to get cleaned up that would be a start.” She said with soda still dripping off her. “Then you could buy me a new soda and some more French fires, that would be a start in making your case a whole lot better.” She was still hungry after all, Ruby had been driving for a long while with no sleep or anything to keep her amused. So some fries really would hit the spot right about now.
She then wanted to know what this girls deal was, she begin walking with her threw the store while she got her more food. “So then what is your story what brings you in here tonight in such a hurry, I mean it had to be with the way you bumped into me like that.” The demon waited to see what the girl would say.

----------------------- [/size] -----------------------[/size] This situation was starting to get on her nerves. She didn't want to be here anymore. She was glad she had met someone but she wished it had been under better circumstances. The girl hadn't looked so much like a bitch before Jo had ruined her shirt. Jo knew she would have been upset too but she wouldn't have made such a big deal. Losing her life had made her think a lot about what kind of person she was and she decided she wanted to be a good person. She still wasn't sure if she would go back to hunting but she knew that it was all that she knew. She was just glad that it was getting better. If it wasn't for Dean and Sam she would still be so lost. She was so glad that she had found them. Maybe this could turn into something positive as well. She smiled when she heard what the girl said next. She was glad she'd changed her attitude, though she was still being a little bitchy. Jo didn't mind as long as she could be back at the hotel before the boys got back. She went to grab her some napkins so she could clean herself up. She did feel really bad for bumping into her but maybe it wouldn't be so bad. She hoped it would get better after Jo made it up to her. She handed the napkins to the girl, smiling. Then she walked over to get her a soda and some french fries. She came back, holding the fries and soda in both hands, and handed them to her. She began walking next to her around the store. She decided not to get anything for herself as she wanted to get back to the hotel as soon as possible. "I just wanted to get back home before my cousins arrived. I just moved here and they're coming to visit and help me get settled in."

Ruby really didn’t get this girl deal, she seemed like a dumb young girl who really didn’t know what she was doing. Or were she was going for that matter, she runs into people like she don’t even see them there or something. But she did seem new to this town like she didn’t know her way around here, which made Ruby want to give her shit even more. There was juts something about fucking with the innocent that gave Ruby some sense of satisfaction.
She then told Ruby that she was waiting for her cousins to get into town, and that she had been new to town herself. This told Ruby part of the reason the girl was the way she was. She was new to this town, didn’t know were she was going. It made a lot more sense to why acted so lost. “Oh you new to town to huh? How long have you been here then? I haven’t been here to long my self. I came here looking for someone, I found them but they keep slapping from my fingers.” It was true though every time she ran into Dean he kept getting away, which pissed her off all to hell. She wasn’t going to stop will she had his head on a shiver platter.
She then figured she might as well make small talk with her, what else did she have to do really. This whole time they had been talking, she resized she didn’t even know what to call this girl. “So kid what’s your name?” She asked the young girl.

She couldn't tell a complete stranger the truth when she didn't know if it was safe to or not. Dean and Sam were sure to have many enemies and she didn't want to endanger their lives. She was new to the town, so that wasn't a lie, however she was not about to tell her that she'd been resurrected by an angel and had been in heaven. She knew it would be incredibly stupid of her to tell a complete stranger the truth about who she was and what she did, even if she wanted to share it with someone. She had the boys to confide in though, even if she couldn't tell them everything. She wanted to get away from the life of a hunter anyway so she knew she might have to make some big changes. Jo really didn't have much better to do so she figured she might as well stay here. She just hoped that the boys wouldn't get too worried about her. She hated when they worried, they were just as bad as her mother had been. She knew they would be there if she ever needed them but she needed some breathing room. She hated feeling confined. She didn't know what life had in store for her but she was going to find out. She knew she needed to figure out her life and find out where she belonged in the world. "Just a couple weeks," she told her, smiling, "I'm Jo." She figured there was no harm in telling her her real name because she didn't have to hide, many demons didn't even know who she was.

It seemed as though the girl was calming down a bit more like she could talk to her, which was good it was what Ruby wanted and needed from her. She needed her to relaxed if she wanted her to talk to her, because there was just something about this girl. She didn’t know what it was but there was something important about her. Ruby could tell she was more comfortable talking to her just by her posture, she could tell just by the way she was standing. That’s how good she was with reading people.
She told Ruby that her name was Jo, and right when she said that she knew that she had to have known of her. She couldn’t put her foot on how she did she just knew that she did. Now it was bugging Ruby like a splinter in her mind of how she had known this girl, all she knew was to remember someone as pathetic as her had to be important. She then was trying to think of things she could ask the girl to find out a bit more about her.
“Look I’m sorry about earlier its been a bad few days for me and I just lost it, I want to start over and get to know you a bit more” She said patting Jo on the shoulder. “So tell me a bit more about your self like what you do for a living, are you in love do have some one in your life. Come on I need some good girl talk.” She said with a big smile on her face. “I can tell you I myself I’m single and I don’t really have a job.” She hoped the girl would tell her something about herself.

----------------------- [/size] -----------------------[/size] She still hadn't told Jo her name, not that Jo really minded much. She couldn't see them being friends. She didn't have a lot of time for friends anyway. The girl was kind of a bitch anyway, which Jo admired. She understood snapping at someone you barely knew if you'd had a bad week or were stressed out. Jo was stressed and she'd barely done anything yet. Jo was calming down a bit, it seemed that talking to another person made her feel a little better. Even if she couldn't tell her the whole truth because she didn't want to endanger the boys or herself. She did need to be going back to the hotel soon because they wouldn't be gone too long. She didn't want to be rude and just leave, so she might as well tell the girl something. She was glad that she didn't seem mad anymore because jo couldn't stand for anyone to be angry with her. It really bugged her. She knew she should've found out her name before even telling her anything. For all she knew, the girl was evil and that couldn't be good for any reason. Jo was trying to steer clear of trouble and would never know if she was walking right into it. She was oblivious at the moment, to anything ordinary. She was so lost and confused, she didn't know which way was up. She just hoped that she wouldn't give anything away that she didn't mean to. She would never intentionally endanger the Winchesters, they were her only family after all. "I don't have a job either, used to work in a bar though. I don't have anyone special in my life right now either."

There was just something about this girl, she wasn’t telling her a whole lot to herself. But she knew beneath it all there was more to this girl. It seemed as though she use to work in a bar, but why isn’t Ruby cant see her doing that. For some reason this girl comes off to Ruby as something much more then that, for some reason she comes off more like a hunter. She didn’t know why but something about this girl screamed hunter.
“No job huh you stuck me as someone that would, you seem to be a girl that knows what she wants. Someone who independent and well likes to work and make lot of money. And a girl as nice as you come on there has to be a guy that you have your eye on, come on isn’t there a guy that you wish was in your life. I know there is one that I wish was.” Ruby was refuting to Sam even though that whole thing will never happen ever again, even though she wishes so much that it would. They really did make a great team, even Sam would have to admit that.
Ruby then knew she would have to find away to make her talk, so why not start by telling her a bit about herself in a bullshit way. “Well I do kind of have a job, I take care of supernatural cases if you get what I mean. Just they other night my friend Sam and I took down something that I had no idea what it was.” She waited to see what she would say after that.
