----------------------- ----------------------- Klaus couldn't get it out of his head. How could all of this had happened in such a short amount of time? Well technically it had been after a lot of drinking and a few hours of flattery and talking. He had been trying for the past two days not to think about it but as if that would happen. He almost let out an audible sigh. Of course he doubted Caroline would even remember. She had been so drunk she could hardly walk straight. He thought about it and wondered if Matt had been compelled to forget yet, that or more people were going to find out about what happened extremely soon. That definitely wouldn't go over well with other people. After all, everyone in this town thought of him as the bad guy, when in all honesty he wasn't all that bad really
Klaus walked out of his house, he had to get out. He had done nothing but draw pictures of Caroline in all different ways and aspects of the light. He needed to stop thinking about her. He took in a deep breath of the fresh air nd let it out carefully. He was considering driving around this small town and getting used to all it's nooks and crannies. But driving would take the thrill out. He started to run at his speed where he was nothing but a blur. He ended up coming to a stop outside of the Forbes house. Oh, of course he would end up here. He popped through Carolines window and left her a drawing that he had in his pocket. Surely that would be enough to make her smile? He rushed out of there as he heard the sheriff coming it. Maybe Caroline wasn't even home then?
Instead he walked at human speed anywhere but there. He focused upon his family. He needed to find ways to get rid of Mikael. If he did this then he could finally wake up the rest of his family. The most pissed would be Elijah but he would have to deal with it for now. They would all be angry with him but they would definitely get over it. His family was something he just couldn't think about. Especially his mother. There was no way anyone would want to get into that coffin. The witches had very nicely sealed it shut and that was where it was going to stay, under his protection anyway. He hadn't realised where he was walking to untill the road turned around the bend. He should have known it would take him to one of Mystic Falls main places.
He crossed over into a blur and stood on the Wickery Bridge. This was the place Elena had lost her family. A lot of bad things happened on this one tiny bidge. He tried not to think about that also. Instead he took in the night. The moon wasn't quite full but not far off either. This place definitely was magnificent, especially here at night time. He took in a deep brath and let it slowly out. He was calmer now, he brain was filled up with thoughts about the other night. For once he hadn't been drinking and he felt so much better for it. He watched as the river below swirled around and had it's own nice glow about it in the reflection of the moonlight. He felt someone else was here and he picked up his head. It was another vampire. Before he could literally hiss or growl at them he turned around to see who it was.

All day she'd been sitting around in her house moping. Last night she had attempted to go out with some girls from school and have a normal night. She'd gotten all dressed up, gone to an underground club with them. However her night had endured a strange turn of events. She had ended up not only talking to a former enemy, but plotting with one as well. At first she'd only gone up to Katherine because she'd been curious as to why she'd come back to Mystic Falls. Her absence had been brief, though it had been nice at the same time. Now she was back and actually willing to help to try and get Stefan back? Strange. Very strange.
In fact it was pretty much too strange if she really thought about it. The very fact that Katherine was looking out for anyone other than herself surprised Caroline. Katherine had always been out for one thing only, looking out for her own survival. Now Caroline was supposed to believe that she didn't have any tricks up her sleeve? Well that was pretty freaking doubtful. Although her plan had been decent and could probably work, she still wasn't sure that she should trust her.
On the other hand she couldn't exactly just rat on Katherine being back. The vampire didn't seem to want too many people to know. More than likely, she didn't want Klaus to know specifically. It would kind of ruin their plan. Not only that but Katherine now had some dirt of her own on Caroline. For some reason she'd blabbered to the elderly vampire about her make out session with Klaus? She had no clue why she'd spilled her guts, it had just kind of been something she'd blurted out. If she could take it back she sure as hell would but she knew she couldn't. Nonetheless, she knew it was a vital part of their plan, so she wasn't going to deny that it had proved a bit useful.
Although there were also feelings that had surfaced that night. She still hated Klaus, but she hated him...less? How that had happened she'd had no clue. It was the alcohol that had made them kiss, but what was making her feel like this now? It was all very confusing to her. However this wasn't the worst part of the night, not in anyway.
By far the worst part of that night had been Matt seeing the two of them kissing. The look of pure shock and disappointment in his eyes had broken her heart. In a way she'd felt like she'd let him down, as if he were her mother and she'd gotten a bad grade on her report card. As soon as she seen him she'd taken off and ran as fast as she could. She had been one blonde blur until she finally reached home. She had cried for a bit out of frustration, before drunkenly passing out.
Earlier today she had gone to the Grill. Although she knew it wasn't like her, there was something she'd had to do. She had been forced to compel Matt to forget what he'd seen. It hadn't been something that she'd wanted to do whatsoever. Just the thought of messing with someone she loved so much's mind hurt her. Plus on the other hand, she wasn't sure if he was on vervain or not and simply pretending to have been compelled. Either way she hoped he wouldn't say anything.
The blonde walked down the Wickery Bridge, a frown on her face. Everything was so confusing right now. She still loved and missed Tyler, but now she'd kissed someone else. That someone "else" happened to be a homicidal hybrid who had made Tyler into his bitch. God, what had happened to her life? It seemed that lately it'd just been turned upside down. Right now she just wanted to be alone with her thoughts. The wind blew her blonde hair off of her shoulders a bit as she walked. Luckily, vampires weren't susceptible to temperature. ----------------------- ----------------------- Klaus watched the water carefully. It was almost as though it was so soothing it made everything wash away. If only it were that easy. He had been back in Mystic Falls less than a few days and already the place had become more and more interesting. Part of him just wanted to take Elena and go and never come back here. Of course getting a hold on her was getting harder and harder. What with Elijah now protecting her and everything else for that matter. He had a fair few obstacles and he wanted nothing more than to just rip all their hearts out and see where it got him. He knew that there was one person he wouldn't be able to do that to though. She was the girl who had done something to him the other night and now he couldn't get her out of his head.
It was as if when his thoughts turned to her they summond her. He had growled slightly towards her when she had interupted his train of thoughts but had stopped instantly when he saw who it was. She was walking towards him and probably completely oblivious to the fact he was there, she seemed to be so lost in her own little world. He couldn't help but lean his back against the railings of the bridge and look at her as she walked. The best way to describe her would be a golden beauty. The way her hair bounced when she walked, not to mention how she looked right now when she was in deep concentration. There was something about her that was driving him mad. He hoped it didn't show when they spoke or when anyone else was around anyways. He watched her as she got closer and closer towards him still not noticing his presence.
Deciding to speak up he smiled. "Got something on your mind there love?"
He asked her carefully with a small mischevious smile on his lips. Was she thinking about the same thing he had been just moments before. The kiss that she had instigated and even made just that much worse. She had been the one who had dragged him outside and pulled him towards her. For once he hadn't been the one who was on the offensive, she had been. It was a nie change but he hadn't minded at all. If anything he had wanted nothing more than to follow her when she had run off. Of course he couldn't follow her. He did laugh at the human boy who had caught them though. Maybe she had already compelled him to forget what he had seen, wouldn't surprise him. He almost chuckled at her. Seriously it wasn't as though it were hard to guess what he had been thinking about. Especially what he was insinuating towards her. He watched for a little while longer before speaking again. "I'm guessing Matt no longer remembers a certain night whilst taking out the trash then?" He still had his smug smile in place, he just couldn't help but tease her. She was so drunk and probably was trying not to remember it but even still, he hoped she did. At least one of them knew how to handle their alcohol. Unlike a certain blonde that was standing in front of him. [/blockquote] ----------------------- OOC: I had to rush it, sorry it's short!

As she approached him he seemed quite taken aback. When he turned around to meet his eyes with hers, a low growl emitted from him. At first she had been so shocked to hear it, however she only allowed her eyes to widen for a slight moment. After a moment she reigned her shock back within and tried to regain her composure. Perhaps he didn’t know that she’d heard his growl but she had. Perhaps he thought he was hidden in the shadows, but he wasn’t.
Unbeknownst to him her eye sight was just fine in the dark. Perhaps not quite as developed as his, but great nonetheless. One of the few perks involved with becoming a vampire. No matter how dark, Caroline could always see. Unless it was foggy outside that is. In that case, she had to really squint to be able to see through the mist. However tonight was not foggy and she could see him leaning there against the railing, acting as casual as he possibly could. Immediately upon hearing his voice, she grimaced. Not because she hated him and always had, no, but because she was beginning to feel something else for him. The previous night she’d thought that it had all been because of the alcohol. That the alcohol had been the thing causing her to act how she had, causing her to feel for him. However as she saw the dumb smile on his face now and that golden glow in his eyes, she knew it hadn’t been the alcohol. All along it’d been her and she hated herself for that. She hated herself because she knew she shouldn’t feel for him, at least anything other than hate and yet she did. Seeing that annoying yet slightly endearing (though she’d never admit it) smile come onto his face, she simply rolled her eyes. Typical. Somehow his ego had managed to get even larger than the last time she’d seen him. ”Nothing in particular” the blonde said, sneering at him. She didn’t want him to know that their kiss had consumed her thoughts since that night. She didn’t want him to know that maybe, a part of her wanted to kiss him again. Plus she couldn’t really even bring herself to admit it so why would she let him know before she did? Everything about him was confusing her right now, and had been, since that very night. Feeling a bit awkward just standing alone on the bridge, she walked a few feet past Niklaus and leaned against the railing as well. However they had a decently sized little gap between them, there was no touching going on tonight whatsoever. Unless of course he decided to try and rip her head off. In that case, he’d at least have to touch her neck. Other than that? Nothing. Zip. Zilch. The big goose egg! He wasn’t coming near her and she wouldn’t let herself go near him either. At the hybrid mentioning Matt, she averted her eyes away from him and looked out onto the water. She sighed lightly, turning around so that she faced the water and her back faced the bridge. Her elbows leaned onto the bridge railing as she looked out into the darkness. The sound of the waves rippling below was a heaven sent noise to her at the moment. It was nice and calming which was just what she needed right now.
Finally mustering up the words to speak, she turned her head to the side to look at him. ” No, he doesn’t. I took care of that the next day..I – I couldn’t let anyone know” she replied flatly. It was kind of brutal considering her tone, but she didn’t care. ”And honestly…I wish I didn’t remember either” she then added. Now that was harsh. As soon as she said it, she felt a bit bad. However she knew she shouldn’t. She looked away not wanting to see the sad puppy look on his face.[/blockquote] Tag: Niklaus Word Count: 666 Outfit: Coming soon!Notes: It's okay, sometimes shorter is nice!

----------------------- ----------------------- Niklaus didn't miss the windening of her eyes. He couldn't help it if she had caught him unawares. Well more like disturbed his happy memory that he knew he wouldn't be forgetting any time soon. She had stopped suddenly but them moved so she was standing next to him but with a rather large gap ibetween the two of them. She was obviously remembering how it felt also because otherwise she wouldn't look so guilty. He chuckled slightly but quietly, he doubted she heard it. He howerver couldn't keep his eyes from the blonde standing in front of him. She really was a masterpiece. She didn't even know how she looked to him, if only there was a way to show her. He decided to try and not to compliment her too much but knew how much that wouldn't last.
When she said that there wasn't anything on her mind. This time Klau's chuckle was definitely audible. Really she was going to play it as though she didn't remember what he was talking about. It wouldn't last, that much he knew, he would bring it up for her. "Really? Well you see my head is just consumed with these thoughts were a pretty blonde drunk girl kissed me. Weird huh?"
He said with his small smile playing on his lips. He was going to bring this up as much as possible because she could try to deny it but she had felt something towards him. She couldn't blame the alcohol because all it did was magnify that of which she already felt. Of course this meant that there was something there to begin with, that was something at least. Although she wasn't looking directly at him, he didn't have to guess hard to know what she was thinking about. He asked her about Matt and wondered what she was going to say about it. of course he wouldn't remember because she wouldn't want anyone to know about her indiscretion. Her friends probably would never forgive her for it, that or try to use her to get on his good side and tell them all about what he had planned. He had of course already told her that his next plan had nothing to do with the her friends or family, meerly his own family and that as long as they stayed out of his way, well then no one would have to get hurt. He would eventually let Stefan go as well, for awhile anyway When she said Matt didn't remember he smiled and shook his head. She turned around and faced out towards the water looking away from him. She said something that actually hurt his feelings. She wished she hadn't remebered either. Ouch. He rushed over to her and pulled her arm to make her look at him. "We both know you don't mean that. You know you should be nicer to me, I could tell all your friends" He couldn't help but get offensive when she said those words. The smile had been wiped from his face, instead it was stern and back to his plain mask. The anger showing slighlty in his eyes as he looked down on her. His hand was still clutching her arm not caring how tight for that moment. [/blockquote] -----------------------

Even though she wasn’t even looking in the general direction of him she could feel his eyes on her. She could feel them boring into her from the side, just out of the corner of her eye. It was slightly annoying to know that he was basically just ogling her. However on the other hand it was nice to know that someone admired her looks, though who it was happened to be the sucky part.
As much as she tried to deny it to herself a part of her was drawn to Klaus. For some reason she felt the urge to be near to him whenever he was around, despite how wrong she knew it was. No matter how bad she wanted to stay away her feet remained firmly on the ground. Even though her mind screamed out for her to leave, her body absolutely refused. It seemed that they had one thing in common; they both wanted each other. It slightly made her feel guilty about Tyler and how she had basically betrayed him. Yes he had been the one to leave her but she had told him she would wait for him, and yet she hadn’t. Not only had she betrayed him but it was with the person they all hated the most.
Hearing him chuckle only slightly annoyed her knowing that he was getting amusement out of the entire situation. Although he found it amusing she found it rather troubling. Hearing it being brought up and having been reminded of it by him didn’t amuse her either. ”Very weird. This blonde must have been a pretty drunk to make out with you” she replied nastily, her voice clearly angry. However the anger wasn’t necessarily directed at him. Klaus was just Klaus and it was that simple. The anger was directed at herself for having been such an idiot that night. Sure she could try and say it was all because of the alcohol but they both knew that this wasn’t true.
In all honesty she hadn’t expected him to take her comment to heart. Although she would have liked to believe it she knew it wasn’t really true. A part of her craved his lips right now, she just wouldn’t admit it to herself. She knew that if she allowed herself to admit it she would be lost forever. As he whipped her around by her arm, she gasped a bit. Not only at the shock but also at how tight he was holding her, so tightly that it even seemed to hurt a bit. ”Klaus…you’re hurting me” she said with pleading eyes, wanting to be let go, and right now. If he let her go she would bolt and she knew he probably knew that too. However what did he expect at a point like this? Did he expect to get his way treating someone like this? When he still didn’t let go, she finally just gave in. Her brown eyes went to his, anger flashing in them. She had finally hit her breaking point and for once she was going to just blow up, not caring of the repercussions. ”FINE. Do you really want to know the truth? I can’t stop thinking about it. The kiss, the entire night, and I hate myself for it. Does that make you happy?” Her tone was defeated as she exclaimed this to him, finally having had enough. Trying to hold it in obviously wasn’t doing her any good, so she let it all out. She just hoped this didn’t end up with him ripping out her heart or something. OR telling her friends, which would be almost just as bad. [/blockquote] Tag: Niklaus Word Count: 612 Outfit: Coming soon!Notes: Aww, man. She just flipped a switch, LOL.

----------------------- ----------------------- Klaus knew that she was trying not to look at him. For obvious reasons at least it was obvious to him, whether or not she had admitted it to herself yet was a different matter. He knew it though, she could try to deny it all she liked, she was more attracted to him than she was letting on. Whether other people knew yet was a different story but it was still interesting to bring it up and every possiblity. Just because she didn't like it that much didn't mean that he couldn't be amused by it. His eyes were practically stalking her, no matter how much he tried to wrench them away he just couldn't. It was also obvious that she was troubled by something. Surely it wasn't his presence right? He didn't want to leave her knowing that she wasn't very happy. He let out a deep breath.
He watched her carefully, she wanted to play cool that was fine. He relaxed against the railing but turned to be the same way that she was. Out watching the water as it was peaceful. He was over being tanted by his siblings about having a crush on someone like Caroline but he didn't understand how people couldn't have a crush on her. Not only was she exceedingly pretty and smart she was also honest in a brutal sort of way. Something he definitely admired about her. There was just something about her, she had a certain amount of vunrability that he doubted she would show very much although it was always there beneath the surface. He could see it almost sense it. If he could touch that side of her knew that it would be better.
Klaus noticed the amount of venom in her voice when she spoke to him. Was she really that pissed off over what had happened between them? He watched her with a small frown upon his face. She was angry about something but he had no idea what. "Come now love, you know you enjoyed yourself more than your letting on"
He said with a small smile and a wink in her direction but was unsure if she caught it. Seriously what the hell was up with her today, she was normally like this a little but never this bad, unless he was imagining it? He tired shrugging it off but it was actually bothering him that she was being like this towards him and that someone had pissed her off to this degree. Caroline seemed to realise that what she had said had upset him. Especially when he grabbed her. He couldn't help his anger, it popped up when he least expected it. His werewolf eyes nearly coming to the curface but he managed to reign it in. Well to a degree anyways. Instead he bore down on her. His face a hard mask showing off how angry he truelly was after all of this. When he heard he was hurting her he almost let go until he thought that maybe she should feel some of what he was. "This isn't pain Caroline, if anything it's just slightly uncomfortable now take it back" He said his voice practically a growl at her with his english accent coming forward extremely prominent. Something must have snapped inside her. She suddenyl flipped a switch. If he let her go she would probably run anyway, not that he couldn't outrun her but he didn't want to take that chance. When she finally admitted those things his grip on her arm loosed. He was being soft now. He looked in her face and saw she was seriously troubled over the entire thing. He reached forward and brushed her hair aside from her, his face tranforming straight away. "Yes Caroline. It does. It may have been the first time you have admitted it to yourself out loud, at least you said it to the right person love" He said with a small smile turning the corner of his lips up. He let her go completely but didn't step back from her. [/blockquote] ----------------------- OOC: OMG I love this post and so much drama ha ha!

Typical Klaus. His ego was even bigger now that the other night, if you could believe it. The message that she wanted nothing to do with him didn't seem to be conveying itself correctly. How could it when you kissed him? she thought to herself. Obviously she'd made mistakes and she knew that, she really did. However it was far too late to take them back now. The blonde could blame it on the alcohol all she wanted but not only would she be lying to Klaus, she'd be lying to herself. Caroline was a terrible lair. Which, could be considered either a good thing (morally) or a bad thing (inconveniently). Nonetheless the lies had to stop but then again if they did, she didn't know she'd ever be able to look in the mirror at herself again. If she truly admitted it to herself it would go against everything she'd ever stood for, something she wasn't sure if she could handle.
Her eyes rolled at his comment instinctively, not even realizing that she'd done it. It was something that she tended to do quite often unbeknownst to herself. "Why are you doing this?" The question kind of forced her to ignore his comment, something that she didn't mind. Honestly she wanted to avoid his questions for as long as possible, though obviously it wouldn't last long. Her blunt honesty was something that she was known for. She certainly wasn't known for her tact as she didn't posess much of it, only using it when she truly had to. It wasn't like she didn't know how to properly act in situations because she did. More or less it was that she didn't always want to act properly. If she had something on her mind she nearly almost always said it, no matter how blunt it was. It was just how she was and had always been.
The vampire had caught Klaus' smile and honestly, it just annoyed her. The original always seemed to be annoyingly smiling and it frustrated her. There was nothing about this situation that made her want to smile. Not feeling like taking his shit any longer, she decided she wouldn't. From this point on she wouldn't fear him, never again even if it got her killed. Slowly her eyes rose from him holding her arm and up to his, flashing in anger as they did so often when around him. "You're right. I take it back, it's not pain" she said simply, though clearly not finished speaking. If he wanted her to talk she was going to talk now whether he liked it or not, she just hoped it didn't get her killed. Deep down, she knew it wouldn't, which is why she continued. "It doesn't hurt because you won't hurt me. Try and act tough all you want but you know it's true." With this she simply made a tfft noise, knowing that she'd said her peace. Now she simply had to wait to see his reaction. Either he'd agree or he'd deny it and simply rip out her heart. She was so fed up and frustrated right now that she honestly didn't care at the moment. Immediately at hearing her confession he changed. His eyes were softer and he let go of her, though didn't move away. They were still extremely close to one another with their chests nearly touching. Surely he could feel the heat coming off of her body in anger, her chest heaving unnecessarily. Beginning to hyperventilate slightly because she was upset, she tried desperately to calm herself. She was definitely freaking out right now. Once his hand touched her it only became worse. No words came to her mouth, she simply wanted to curl up into a ball and die. It was embarrassing and yet at the moment, she simply ignored that and tried to calm herself. ----------------------- ----------------------- Klaus knew that she was pissed at him. Techinically he couldn't blame her but at the end of the day she needed to truth and that just wasn't going to happen with people tip toeing around her. At the end of the day she was a big girl now, no longer the poor mere mortal who must have thought her life pretty darn tradgic. Niklaus knew that he suffered in his human life but the world had been different back then and everything was much simpler, it was too complicated now and it made everyone want to bash their own heads in. It was slightly ridiculous. When he looked at Caroline though, it was different. She was such a fierce person and she deserved better than this small town life, she deserved the world, and who better to give it to her than the one person who couldn't be destroyed and who could get all he wanted when he wanted it. Klaus knew he was the right choice for Caroline.
Caroline was very good ad evading questions or remarks that she deem possible to make an answer to. She did this exact thing to his remark about her enjoying herself more than she let on. He couldn't keep the small amount of laughter that bubbled over. He shook his head at her. Suurely she knew why he was doing this? After everything that they had been through that one night, she knew what he felt and thought about her. Otherwise he would have pushed her away. He smiled as he looked down at her. "I think you know why i'm doing this. Why can't you just admit it? Also nice try and evading my question love but I can see right through your little act"
He had a small michevious smile playing on his lips but that was alright. For some reason even when he was angry at her he could see why he was attracted to her. She was definitely from out of this world, whether she knew it or not. The anger Niklaus saw in her eyes wasn't exactly something he had experienced before. It totally took him off guard and didn't except it, but it shouldn't have been surprising. She agreed to him not hurting her and he watched. If the expression seeing red would suffice let's just say that was probably what she was seeing. He wasn't going to have her talk to him like this. He didn't rise to it. Instead his voice turned kind of flirty and tried to coax her out of her anger and back into the girl who had made out with him before she started drinking. "Now Caroline don't be speaking to me like that. If you wanted to play rough all you had to do was ask" He said but his face didn't portray any emotion, instead it was an expresionless mask. It was the only way she would know what she was saying was starting to piss him off, he didn't want to hurt her but it didn't mean he wouldn't. When Caroline's anger didn't subside he watched as it grew instead, but with it came her arrogance. Did she really think that he wouldn't hurt her. She really didn't know him. He knew he shouldn't loose his temper but he hated being spoken down to, it got to him more than anything. People should respect him just for not killing them and if they didn't well they suffered the consequences. He growled at her. A full on growl. He shoved her backwards against the railing knowing it must have hurt and his grip tightened once more. "Don't think I wouldn't hurt you Caroline because I would. We kissed yes and I fancy you yes but that doesn't mean I couldn't dispose of you should you get in my way. Don't test me" He growled towards her in his low voice. He meant what he said. He was standing awefully close to her now though. He watched as her chest was rising and falling with her anger. Of course she was angry but she had been touching on slippery ground. She needed to be careful around him because he was still that person they all hated. He was spoilt and got what he wanted and when he wanted it. No one stood in his way. He could see in her eyes that she was just trying to calm down but the heat radiating from both of them, well let's just say sexual tension was crazy. He looked down at her and put a hand on the railing behind her. She was trapped between the railing and him since he shoved her there. The desire was in his eyes and no doubt showing the lust there but he wanted to know if she felt the same. If it really was anger causing her look the way she did or if she was feeling the same electricity that he was. It was crazy how much he wanted to kiss but held back a little. His arm ont he railing was brushing hers. [/blockquote] -----------------------

At his chuckle she felt chills go all through her body and down her spine. Not because she found it creepy or that she found it something to worry about. Instead it had sent chills through her body at the pure face that it annoyed her more than anything ever had in her entire life. The way he took things so lightly and seemed to not be bothered by anything, that was what sent chills down her body. It pissed her off and yet a part of her, though very deep down, liked his laugh. Sure it annoyed her and she wouldn't lie about that. However it was also kind of sexy if one didn't know all the things he'd done they'd probably love it. The fact that it was growing on her disturbed her more than she wish she knew.
Immediately out of instinct Caroline furiously shook her head. Why couldn't she admit it? Well for starters, because she simply didn't want to. On top of that she didn't want to give him that satisfaction. "Can't you just leave me alone? Haven't you done enough already?" The vampire's eyes almost seemed to beg for him to stop. To leave her alone and never turn back, to never hear his voice again. However a small part of it cracked as she knew that it wasn't what she really wanted. She wanted to see him and she hated herself for it.
Eyes widening in outrage she angrily looked at him. Although it was hard to make her big puppy dog eyes look angry she somehow managed to make it happen. "My little act? I'm not the one putting on an act in this situation" she spat right back at him. Obviously this wasn't the truth and she knew this. She was simply denying it to not only him, but herself as well. Just because she'd told him that she couldn't stop thinking about it didn't mean she had to tell him that it was because she had enjoyed that night For all he knew, she thought about it because it had disgusted her so much. Whether or not it was the truth he wouldn't know but that's certainly what she wanted him to think. Another roll of her eyes, and her hands rose in the air as if she wanted to pull her own hair out. It was so frustrating for her to be talked to like this. Original or not it wasn't okay. As far as she was concerned, no one talked to Caroline Forbes like that. "WHY do you think it's okay to talk to people like this? You tell me how you "fancy" me" she told him, making air quotes with her fingers as she said fancy, "and yet this is how you talk to me?" This question was one she needed an answer from, desperately. She couldn't stand being treated like this. Not by anyone, though she knew it could be dangerous to talk to him like this. Obviously he hadn't liked her comment too much. This was something she realized as she heard the growl, followed by her being pushed onto the railing behind her. A look of shock came across her features as she slammed back into it. Her jaw dropped immediately and the hyper ventilating ceased, only leaving her looking at him in shock, jaw and eyes widened at what had just happened. Now he was pushing her too? Yeah, he really fancied her a lot. Not. Desperately she wanted to get away from him but couldn't. Once the shock receded, she found herself more angry than ever. Not wanting to seem too afraid she moved closer to him. She got right up in his face, pressing her body against his and pushing against him. Obviously if he didn't want her to leave she wasn't going anywhere. She was basically a brand new vampire and with him being an original, she didn't stand a chance. "Let. Me. Go." Her face was determined and she tried her best not to seem nervous. Previously she'd been starting to think she might have feelings for him. After he pushed her, she wasn't so sure that was true. It simply wasn't possible to be attracted to someone who could hurt her. She'd gone down that road a long time ago with Damon and wasn't going to let it happen again. Still quite angry, her chest rose up and down as she waited to see what he would do.[/blockquote] Tag: Niklaus Word Count: 806 Outfit: Coming soon!Notes: He better calm himself down or she will never see him again LOL. ----------------------- ----------------------- Klaus could see that he was getting to Caroline. She was growing frustrated at him mainly because he was being truthful with her unlike the other people she surrounded herself with. They were one in the same she and him. They were both so fierce and truthful that it was obvious they should be together. Whether she saw that or not though was a different story all together. She was ignoring the facts so that she didn't have to admit it to herself, so she didn't have to admit that she felt as though she were betraying Tyler whilst he was away when they wee around each other. Klaus knew he wasn't the only one that could feel the tension that pulsed around them like an electric current, he was just the only one that was present that would actually admit to it. But Caroline would, eventually she would.
She practically begged him with her voice, asking for him to elave her alone. If only she could see what he could, in her eyes. She was decieving herself into believing that was what she really wanted. It wasn't though and that was the thing. He shook his head but the smile was gone from his face. "My dear Caroline, if you could only see what I could. I would indeed leave you alone if it were what you truly wanted, but it isn't. Why keep denying it to yourself, you'll only hurt yourself no one else"
He wondered if that statement was actually true. Would he be hurt if she chose to ignore her feelings at all cost so they would never be together. He reminded himself that they were both immortal and therefore there was a long time for her to consider her feelings. When she got angry at him it did nothing to rouse him back. Seriously all she was doing was getting angry at herself. She needed to admit that she wasn't angry at him for bringing up the truth. He watched her carefully though, he didn't want her upset with him. "Come now, no need to get angry at yourself over this. How about I stop trying to get you to admit your true feelings for me and we just talk and get to know each other a little better?" He asked carefully. He only wanted to get to know her, well for her to get to know him. He had a soft side it was just that most people never have the privilage to encounter it. Well apart from those of Rebekah, Elijah and maybe sometimes his mother. It was all different now though, everything had changed since that time period. Klaus knew exactly as to what she was referring to. Although he wasn't treating her like crap, he would treat her better should the opportunity arise but that didn't mean that he would take it either. She was really testing his patience and to everyone who knew him knew that wasn't really a good thing. Really she was lucky he hadn't broken her neck or something just to shut her up. No he wouldn't do that to her. "Your right. I apologize for treating you this way. Maybe we should try this evening again. Either that or you like it rough more than your letting on" He tried to turn into a flirtacious joke but knew it would end up falling flat. She was too pissed of to know that he was trying to make light of the conversation and make it a little better. Klaus watched her look of shock on her face when he pushed her. He hadn't been able to help himself really. Sometimes something inside of him snaps and then there is no stopping it. He let out a deep breath and looked down at her. He let his arms fall to his side showing that he had let her go. Although they were still close together she was free to move away now. There was about a thirty centimieters between them. "Consider yourself let go. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to loose it. Please know Caroline I'm still me and I will still loose my temper just like you have at me more than once tonight" He explained. She was pissed at him for pushing her but look at how many times she had been angry and praxctically spitting at him when he had tried to make light of their conversation. He looked down at her, his eyes and face relaxed as he drank in her every feature [/blockquote] -----------------------

My dear Caroline
God she just wanted to punch him in the freaking face when he called her that. No matter how clear she made her feelings he chose to ignore them. His next speech about her lying about her feelings hit her hard. In all honesty, he was right and she knew it. ”Maybe you’re right, maybe I am denying it. You’re still an asshole though” she said, honestly not sure why she’d thrown that in there. Perhaps she’d tossed it in there because she hadn’t known what else to say. Or to take a bit of the seriousness away from it, which was a definite possibility. Regardless even though her voice was full of venom her eyes were beginning to soften. Not completely, but just a bit.
There was no need to be angry, was he fucking kidding? Caroline was not an angry or mean person by nature at all. In fact she was quite the opposite. Not only was she caring and sweet, but she was thoughtful and considerate (most of the time) as well. Sometimes you could discount her amount of consideration when she was planning a dance or something but for the most part? She was far different than how she was acting at the moment. Yet it just seemed that he had that kind of effect on her. ”Okay, how about this. Tell me something that won’t make me hate you.” Taking a few deep breathes she attempted to calm herself, waiting to hear what he had to say. Or rather, if he would even have anything good to tell her about himself. She highly doubted it but decided to listen anyways. Eyes widening as she heard him apologize to her he almost couldn’t believe that it had really happened. Had Klaus just apologized to her? Boy would Damon get a kick out of that. He’d really be the only one to think it was funny. Plus when he realized she’d been having a conversation with him a few seconds later he’d probably flip out on her. However she was extremely surprised to hear that not only could he admit that she was right for once, but also say that he was sorry as well. ”Just had to ruin it, huh?” she asked with a grimace as he finished up his sentence. With this she jokingly pushed him. Not hard, but almost in a flirtacious way. She hadn’t planned it to seem that way but the second she allowed a laugh to leave her she knew that would be how he took it. Although his eyes seemed to say they were sorry for pushing her, she honestly didn’t want to believe him. His temper was no excuse for what he had done. She had been pissed off for the last twenty minutes and hadn’t ever laid a hand on him. Once he let her go she let out a deep breath and tried to relax. The anger subsided for the moment, allowing the hurt in her eyes to show. Why it shocked or hurt her that he’d do what he did was a mystery to even her. ”Everyone loses it every once in awhile, but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to put your hands on someone. If you care about me like you say you do, you’ll never touch me like that again…” she said, rubbing her arms where he had grabbed her. With this she turned her back to him, no longer wanting to see his eyes. She was hurt and annoyed all at the same time. Yet for some reason, she couldn’t convince her legs to walk her out of there. It's been going for so long that I kind of feel like I keep repeating myself, lol.
