- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Max rubbed his eyes as he woke up on the plane. They had officially landed in Richmond, Virginia; him and the rest of the agents that is. They had been sent their after hearing some rumblings of Supernatural activity. Being an undercover agent, he was one of the select few sent here to investigate. Serena was on her way as well but had taken a later flight. She had been caught up with another job and was finishing up the paperwork back at base. As they landed they received a quick briefing from their commander and were sent on their separate ways.
In Richmond he would now be known as Joshua Simpson, a new guidance counselor at Richmond High School. They were all given new aliases and names and jobs as well, all sent to different corners of the city to investigate on their own. He was also given a condo to stay in and a new car as well. Hopping into his new truck he punched his apartment into his GPS and made his way there. It was an average looking condo, two stories and looking almost like a brownstone townhouse. It was nice enough, for the time being. He never got too used to where he stayed as he wasn’t ever there for very long.
Entering the condo he looked around to see that it was already furnished and ready to be lived in. He didn’t have anything to unpack as everything was already provided for him. Clothes were in his closet and dresser, food in the fridge, everything was there as if it’d always been there. Taking some clothes out of his new dresser, he took them into the bathroom and decided to take a quick shower. Undressing and tossing his clothes into the hamper in the bathroom, he stepped into the warm water and let it pour all down his body. It seemed to wake him up a bit as he’d been sleeping pretty much the entire flight. He had been shoved onto the plane directly after finishing up another job.
After drying off and getting dressed, he went to the nightstand beside his bed. The nightstand was always where the F.B.I. left their cell phones. They never had the same phone or number, it changed every time they moved to somewhere new. Picking up he seen that it was already full charged and ready to go. Placing it into the pockets of his jeans, he went downstairs and then put his shoes on as well. Deciding to take a stroll through town, he got into his truck and drove it into town. Parking it alongside the street, he stepped out and began to walk down the first block of shops. He did this with almost every town he went to, just to get a lay of the land. It helped to know the general layout of the town during his investigations.
Feeling his phone vibrate, he took it out of his pocket briefly to read the message. It was from Sernena…or rather, Rachel Henderson, as she would now be called. She would be arriving shortly. Without replying, he placed it back in his pocket and made his way down the street. - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Michael/Anyone Word Count: 530 Outfit: Click here for Max's outfitNotes: So excited!

"Are you shitting me!" Micheal said to himself shaking his head as he looked down the street. "Yep.... Yep... " He said again nodding to himself, as he looked at the young male walked. Micheal would know that walk anywhere. Creepy as that might sound, Micheal knew Max better then Max knew himself. It was Micheal's job to know him inside and out, to follow that guy wherever he may lead. Yep... the would was clearly about to explode seeing as this was the third person from his past he saw in this god forsaking town. This must have been some kind of sick joke someone was playing on the Roswell group. No really. First Liz, with Maria soon after. Micheal not even a minute later, and now a week or so later, and here's Max... who's next? Isabel? Or maybe that Kyle kid.... Well... here he goes again. Honestly.... if he's not seeing one person it's another. Can't he walk outside his hotel room without seeing someone he knew... Dang. Small town or not.... they were clearly here for a reason.... creepy creepy shit was about to go down. Michael could just feel it.
So adjusting the gloves on his hands, he walked over to his bike parked a good ways away from where ever Max was going. Micheal was sure he'd be able to catch up. Seeing as they were all going to hell, he might as well make sure he had a one way ticket. Getting on his bike, he placed his helmet on his head, a little joke never hurt anyone? Right? well.... of course it did... but, this was Max they were talking about. He could just dry himself off right quick not like anyone one would notice. Anyway it's something Michael has wanted to try so bad. He'd always wanted to, but he could hardly do it to a poor stranger, or one of the girls. They would freak. So why not welcome max to the neighborhood by getting him a little wet.
Thank god it had rained yesterday, leaving the pavement slightly wet in some places, a few puddles in others. So long as Max kept on his current path, Micheal would get him. He shoved a small light blueish greenish box in the compartment under his seat, while pulling out a dark blue towel. He folded it, and placed shoved as much of it as he could in his back pocket, still leaving a good chuck hanging out the back. Getting on he turned his bike on, trying not to make too much noise or draw much attention to himself. But his bike was rather loud, and it happened. One thing was for sure he could never sneak away on this thing.... though he could out run just about any car or bike alike. So it worked. He may be loud, but he'd loss you in seconds if he had to.
Driving his bike a block or two, he did a double take just to make sure it was Max walking. He was sure, more then 100% sure. IT was Max, it had to be. Maybe the gods of gods or whatever is out there felt bad for Liz.... Micheal and Maria were together, Max and Liz might as well be? Man... Micheal could just see the look on Liz's face. Yep. He'd have to kidnap Max, and take him to Liz's class room. Yeah... that would be fun... very fun. Max would surly object, but that was the whole point of kidnapping. He did it to Maria, might as well come full circle and do it to Max. He had nothing better to do... might as well go for it.
So pulling up quickly into a nice puddle, he positioned his bike just so, holding the break, he pushed the gas a little causing his back wheel to spin, yet he would not move. This made some water splash up on Max walking behind him. Haha. Success was Michaels'! Poor Max was all wet.... It was hardly enough to make him change clothing, but enough to surly irritate him. "Oh man. My bad dude!" Micheal said turning off his bike, and taking the gloves from his hand, the shinning gold band around his ring finger shining brightly in the light for a minute. Replacing his gloves in his back pocket for safe keeping he walked up to Max. Once his gloves were stuffed in his pocket, he lifted the faceplate on his helmet. "Need a towel?" He asked pulling the towel from his back pocket and tossing it to Max, a big old smile on his face, though most of it was hidden behind his helmet, but his smile reached his eyes.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -After walking down the street for a little bit Max realized that he wasn’t too impressed with this town. While It was definitely nice and quaint, with an older feel to it, it was nothing like Roswell. Nothing was like Roswell that he had seen. It was part of why he loved his hometown, its uniqueness. Plus there could never just be a normal day in their hometown. There was always something going on, alien wise or not there was something happening constantly. It seemed that the only thing happening in this town were shoe sales and couples holding hands as they walked down the street. If Max could have gotten a nickel for every couple he spotted holding hands, he would be one rich bastard right now. However he tried to pretend that he didn’t notice, wanting to seem inconspicuous.
Seeing the couples made his heart ache for Liz. She had been the only one that he had ever truly loved. Sure he’d felt something briefly for Tess but it hadn’t lasted long. Plus he couldn’t even really be sure if it’d ever been real. The reason he ran to her in the first place had only been because he’d thought that Liz had slept with Kyle. To this day he still remembered seeing them like it had only happened yesterday. The two of them lying in bed together laughing and saying how they’d had a great time, Liz’s bare leg hanging out of the blanket as she clutched it over her chest. It haunted him to this day, even though it’d been an act all along. However it had indeed been a very convincing act.
In a way, he knew that he was justified in that moment for sleeping with Tess. However the second he’d found out that Liz and Kyle had all been an act, his heart had broken. At that moment he had felt like he’d permanently lost Liz forever. As if he had screwed everything up for one night of pleasure. His other feelings for Tess had been because of her pregnancy with his son, to which he had believed that the baby was dying because of the earth’s atmosphere. Later he found out that this was all part of a mind warp, and that she’d killed Alex as well. Again she had lied to him upon her return telling him that she was connected to their son, Zan, in order to save her own ass. It was easy to say that Max definitely hadn’t been all that upset to hear that she’d sacrificed herself and blown up the government base with her.
Even to this day, Max constantly thought about his son. He was always wondering where on earth he was, who his parents were and how his life had been. Sometimes he found himself wondering if he should have at least tried to raise him himself. However what kind of life would this have been for a child? Constantly moving around from town to town and never having the same identity. It would have been too hard for both of them, though this didn’t make him feel any better.
Abruptly being ripped out of his own thoughts he felt himself being splashed. Water ran down his red shirt and his jeans, dripping onto his satin shoes. It was in his hair too and as he looked down, he spotted the large and very muddy puddle it had come from. Bringing his eyes up he spotted the dick who had splashed him. Seeing the bike he had been riding he stopped, frozen. He knew that bike, and knew it very well. But how could this be? It couldn’t be, it simply wasn’t possible. That bike had belonged to Michael Guerin. Not only his best friend but by all accounts his brother. Despite their bickering and fighting for dominance in the past, Michael was and always had been very dear to Max’s heart.
But this couldn’t possibly be Michael. It would be too large of a coincidence if it was. No, maybe Michael had sold his bike and this was the person who had bought it? However he was proved wrong the second he heard the man’s voice. Looking to him as he pulled off his face towel, he wanted so badly to hug his best friend. He had missed him, missed arguing with him even. However he never knew when he was being watched and therefore, he couldn’t, not here. Waving away the towel, he hated himself for what he said as he did it. ”Uhh, thanks, but I’m fine. Try to watch where you’re going next time”
he said sneering. Of course this wasn’t by far how he wanted to greet Michael. However for right now, he had to pretend that he didn’t know who he was. If anyone was watching them, Max’s cover would instantly be blown. And if not it would certainly get Michael on the radar which definitely wasn’t good. As if he didn’t know Michael, he turned around and began walking towards his truck again. He knew Michael was probably very confused…but he had to do what he had to do. Upon reaching his car, he looked down the block to Michael and signaled for him to follow. Of course his signal was discrete but hey, he was sure his friend had seen it. With this he hopped into his truck and began on his way back to his condo. There they could actually talk without the fear of being watched, there he could really be himself around his brother.[/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Michael/Anyone Word Count: 913 Outfit: Click here for Max's outfitNotes: He has to pretend that he doesn't know him in public, for their safety. Oh... well shit. That was.... awkward. Guess Max lost his sense of humor in the lat five years of his life. Man.... that did not at all go the way he wanted it to go. Micheal just stood there blinking for a second. Well... with the turning down of his towel offer, Micheal just shrugged it off folding the towel and shoving what he could back into his pocket, keeping it there so he did not lose it. He'd return it back to the compartment under his seat when he got back to his bike. Which apparently would be very soon. Max did not look to happy to see him. Surely Max was not dumb and knew who he was, but really? No hello... no nada. Shit Maria and Liz almost got themselves run over trying to stop Micheal from leaving. But all Max could do was stand there looking all dumb and what not.
Gah.... nothing ever went his way. Five years later and still... nada. Ah well. At least Liz would be happy to know Max was alive and stupid as ever. "Yeah my bad... I was just on my way to go see your girlfriend..." He said under his breath, looking up to find his eyes looking at the store front. REALLY? What the fuck. Michael looked pretty dumb founded for a moment. Could Max make himself invisible now? What else could he do... that was so unfair. Dang. But of course some movement caught his eye, causing Micheal to look off, seeing Max walking towards his truck. "Really Maxwell?" He said a little louder this time, though he was sure his voice got lost in his helmet somewhere. Gah... Of course only Max would find a way to make everything very difficult on Micheal. He was going to take Max right away to go see Liz... but now he'd watch him squirm a little. Yep. Fuck Max for being a loser with not sense of humor. Yeah... Micheal was bitter... about what? That has yet to be seen.
With a small sigh, Micheal snapped the visor on his helmet back down, with the small sound echoing slightly. He saw the gesture, but ignored it really. Rather he took his time, placing the towel back under his seat, getting on his bike, putting his gloves back on. He knew he'd have no problem catching up with Max in his new car. Michael's new bike was untouchable. He has yet to find anyone who could out run him. Came in handy it sure did. Reeving his bike for a moment he was off, following the truck from a distance. Not wanting to get to close. Though of course once they reached a Condo, Micheal assuming this was where Max lived, packed in the same spot as Max. Micheal did not want to be that douchebag with a bike taking up a whole spot. So he saved a spot and parked behind Max's car. Maybe not the smartest thing to do.. but shit it's been 5 years. Micheal has been out of the country that long, no one was going to think twice about seeing some guy on a bike. Really... it's not that serious.
Getting off his bike, he made a note of where Max was going. He pulled his helmet off, attaching it to his bike, so it could not be stolen. He also put his gloves in the little locked compartment under his seat for safe keeping. With his keys in his pocket he followed behind Max, again keeping a distance. Within seconds he was standing in front of he door Max disappeared behind. Stupid Max.... Shaking his head Micheal just walked on in like he owned the place. Shit how many times had Max walked into his apartment? It was pay back... if only Max was not expecting Micheal... now that would be wonderful. Ah well another time. Maybe... He was still trying to think if brining Max to Liz's work would be better, of if he should drag Liz here and walk in unannounced.... That could be epic.... Micheal would get kicked out real quick. But that was something to think about. "Maxwell." Micheal said as he let himself fall back onto the sofa, at the same time kicking his large boots up on the coffee table. Almost daring Max to say something... How many time's had Max done that to his crappy table? Just because he had a nicer one did not mean anything. It was Michaels turn to invade Max's space.
((Shout out to Britt in this post! She HATES when Bikes take up a whole parking space when they can be parked with another vehicles.... if they don't own another vehicle to park with, then they can at least park further away/put some reflectors up... ))

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Max saw the hurt look come into Michael’s eyes. Even though he kept his face completely and utterly expressionless, all Max needed to see was held in the eyes. It always had been and that was how he knew that he knew Michael so well. Just by looking at him he knew how he was feeling, considering that he usually wouldn’t say it. Unless of course he was angry or disagreed with something. In that case? In that case it was impossible to get Michael to stop yelling and bitching. Although he hated having hurt his best friend and essentially his brother he knew it was for the best. If his superiors or even fellow colleagues were watching him, he didn’t want them to see Michael or catch on to who he was. After having worked so hard and long to protect them he didn’t want to lose all of his hard work now.
In the back of his mind he could have sworn he heard Michael say something but he ignored it for now. It really was for the best of all of them to continue to act as if they didn’t know each other, even if it did hurt his friend and himself in the process. Right now he had to be strong, no matter what the consequences were. Max was their King and protector and he had to act as such. Getting into his car he turned the key in the ignition, listening to it roar as it started up. Even to this day he couldn’t help but miss his Jeep, but there was nothing he could do about it. They had destroyed it when they thought they were going to go home, back before they’d known about Tess’ killing Alex, and he hadn’t had it since. The truck was nice and all and very manly, though not exactly Max. Nonetheless he pulled out of his spot on the side of the road when it was clear, driving right past Michael.
Although he didn’t make contact he was going slow enough to see his friend out of the corner of his eye. Michael didn’t appear to be moving and for a moment he feared that he wasn’t going to follow him. Surely he’d seen his signal, right? But then again he had only given him the signal for a moment of time and hadn’t even barely made eye contact. Turning left out of the town square, he sighed in relief as he spotted Michael a few cars behind him. Thankfully he’d understood the signal without having to be told vocally.
Upon approaching his condo he worried that someone would see Michael parking behind him and walking inside. However he let it go for now, simply hoping that he wasn’t being watched at the moment. Hearing the door creak open behind him, Max waited until it had been closed again to turn around. Maxwell. Michael had always been the only one out of all of them to use his full name. Why on earth he felt the need to do this, Max had no clue. ”Michael. Sorry about that, just being cautious in case we’re being watched.”
As he said this his eyes shot down to see Michael’s feet on his coffee table, but decided to let it go. When you hadn’t seen someone in five years, dirty boots on a coffee table didn’t seem too important. A part of him knew that it was just his friend trying to dig at him. They had always had that kind of relationship. Even though Michael could definitely be a huge pain the ass, Max loved him like a brother nonetheless. Although walking into the kitchen, Max continued to talk. ”What are you doing here in Richmond? Don’t you think it’s odd that we’re both here, at the same time?” Max yelled out. Opening up his fridge he grabbed himself a bottle of water. Holding the bottle in one hand and the fridge door in the other, he yelled out again. ”Do you want anything from the kitchen?” he asked anxiously. It was weird seeing Michael again after five years, it almost made him nervous and afraid that they were both here. After all, everything happens for a reason.[/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Michael/Anyone Word Count: 709 Outfit: Click here for Max's outfitNotes: ----

"Right." Micheal answered. Cautious.... really.... he understood being all I have no idea who the fuck you are, with Liz, Isabel, Maria, whomever. But to him? Really? Micheal was the furthest away from all this shit the last fee years, he was so far under the radar no one would even think to look at him. Shit who would want to take a decorated veteran down? Oh Micheal could see the protests now. He could see the people yelling at the government for bothering a war vet. Really. Micheal was protected in that way. Anyway, he was almost too human for that shit. Really what alien would go join the US Military if they were planning on blowing up the place or whatever? Not only join, but do nothing but good, he only helped, only wanted to help. Really? Yeah he was untouchable in his own little mind. Of course the government owned his life, but Micheal did not have much of a life before, at least before Maria. But still, this was good for him, and he had some friends in high places. He was sure he could gain some info if needed.
"I've only been in bumbfuck no where the past five years.... Not like anyone would recognize me or anything" Micheal said off hand. He really was so far under the radar. Just because Max recognized Micheal that would mean nothing. Even if his FBI buddies saw Max speaking to Micheal like he was an old friend... how would that tip anyone off? Was Max not able to have old friends? Would Max really be put under a scope had he bumped into say an old teacher or some shit? Really? Micheal just did not understand. Sure split up, but shit it's been five years, and they all had quite the little thing going. Even if someone still had tabs on one of them, they could hardly reach them all.... even know most of them were in this tinny town. Still. Micheal just did not understand being nice to each other. Shit it's been five years, Michael would have liked a smirk or a comment or something. But shit... he got nothing. That kinda rubbed him the wrong way. Even a hey hi... what's up? Meet up for coffee later kind of shit. That was normal, humans did that, it would hardly tip anyone off to their long time friendship.
"Ha!" Micheal said, not sure why he said such a thing.... But he did. "It's about to get a hell of a lot weirder. And... I was just kind of passing through...." He said figuring he'd just jump right into the story. Really he might as well? Then again Max would A) Run away like a little bitch worried that the big bad people would take them all away, or B) Demand he see Liz right away. Micheal would never get his time....So maybe he'd hold off on his story... maybe.... But he was stopped by Max's voice asking if he wanted something to drink. "You got a snapple?" He asked before just jumping back into his story. Yeah... he might as well talk. He knew where Liz was and hod dang it, Micheal was gonna catch up with Max first. "But I nearly ran over this one girl, so I kind of had to stay...." He said playing with the wedding like band on his ring finger. "You know make sure she did not get hurt or anything... turned out I almost ran over Maria..." He said with a shrug. "And the plot only thickens." He added shaking his head, yep he was just jumping on in head first. Might as well get it over with. "Thirty seconds before Maria jumps in front of my moving bike, she had literally ran into none other then your beloved Liz." Micheal added. "This went down like 3 days ago... and now your here." Micheal said nodding his head. "That's the quick version. I can be more dramatic if you need me to." Micheal added snuggling back into the sofa a little more, just making himself more at home and less, stiff. This would never be his home, but his brother lived here, he'd have to get used to this place, unless Max grew a certain female part and ran for the hills, leaving them behind once more. But Micheal was not sure Max could leave Liz. Micheal as much as he wanted to grow a pair and leave Maria like he should, his pair belonged to Maria so what she said went, and she wanted him to stay so he would, and boy did he love being with her again. It made him rather happy and Micheal was hardly happy.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Michael seemed a bit put off by Max’s explanation of why he’d acted the way he had. He was telling the truth though as really, anyone could be watching at any time. Although the F.B.I. generally didn’t feel the need to watch their own agents too often it did happen from time to time. Max just hadn’t wanted to it to happen today on the same day that he ran into Michael. It was strange that they both just happened to be here during the same time. It was a decent sized town but one in Virginia nonetheless, a lesser favored state. People didn’t frequent or vacation there often as he’d discovered by checking out the town. Although it wasn’t too small it had the small town feel to it still. However instead of commenting on Michael’s shortness he simply nodded in response. What else was there to say? Perhaps Michael forgot that Max now worked for the very same institution that they’d all been forced to run away from.
Hearing the other male mumble about how no one would recognize him, Max grunted. ”Maybe not, other than the Special Unit. They basically have our faces permanently engraved into their eyelids”
he said with a hatred in his voice. It pissed him off that his entire family (he considered them all family, at least) had been forced to run and leave their homes behind. Leaving his parents behind, Isobel had left Jesse, Maria’s mother and Liz’s parents. The fact that he couldn’t have stopped that from happening hurt him as well. He was supposed to be their protector; their leader. Yet they had all still had to live a life on the run and never being able to call a place home. Max hadn’t seen Liz in five years or his best friend, or his sister, or Maria, which he almost felt about her like another sister. The only thing that had kept him going all this time was his desire to end the special unit, something he still currently is working on. ”Where did they have you stationed?” the alien then asked, wondering just where Michael had spent all of his time. ”I’ve never heard of bumbfuck no where” he said with a laugh. There, that was it, that was more like how he’d used to act with Michael. Even after not seeing the man in five years he felt himself getting more and more comfortable around him again. The only reason he knew Michael was in the military was because he’d been keeping tabs on him. Michael was the only one out of the group to leave a paper trail as he was in the military. Maria and Liz had seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth, which he wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Holding on to his bottle of water in the kitchen he heard Michael laugh aloud, his eyes looking into the living room to see the amusing look on his face. Obviously he knew something; Max knew that look and he knew it well. However he’d surely find out soon enough wouldn’t he? Surprisingly enough, he did have a Snapple. It was only plain apple as that was all they’d put in here, but a Snapple nonetheless. Grabbing one out of the kitchen he pushed the refridgerator door shut with his hip and carried both drinks back into the living room. Tossing Michael the Snapple, he took a seat on the armchair in the living room across from Michael. ”So – what’s weird?” he then asked, taking the cap off of the bottle and taking a swig of ice cold water. Settling into his chair he listened patiently as his friend went into his story. Hearing Maria’s name he choked on the drink of water he’d just taken, nearly spitting it out but stopping himself just in time. ”Maria?!?” he asked wildly. Well, this really was weird wasn’t it? Then hearing that Liz was here as well, his heart nearly stopped. Jaw dropped and it seemed as if he stopped breathing. ”Liz is here too? Are you sure it’s her?....What are they doing here?” he asked, barely able to choke out any words at all. He knew he really shouldn’t stay here if they were here too, it just wasn’t safe. Yet his family was here…he couldn’t leave them again, could he? ”Where is she?” Max then asked, brown eyes showing his desperation to see her. Even if he did end up fleeing Richmond, he had to see her first. It had been too long since the last time they’d talked…kissed…cuddled…laughed. Too long since he’d felt that warmth in his heart he always felt around her.[/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Michael/Anyone Word Count: 788 Outfit: Click here for Max's outfitNotes: This post went so fast....<3

Micheal just grunted in return. Yeah no.... He was fine. Special unit or not. Micheal was not worried. He had his own army waiting and willing to fight with him. Of course they did not know he was not of this earth, but he had buddies, that were willing to die for him, if need be. It was like his own little gang, who lived all over the world. He'd come to their need if they called on him as well. But he was safe, he was sure he could get out of most anything. Alien or not, he did a shit ton of shit for this country, and they would treat him with some respect. Or god help them all. Micheal was not going to go down lightly. No he worked his ass off and if they country repays him by trying to kick his ass, oh no. People would put a stop to that. Micheal made sure to make strong ties, he knew he may need to call on them one day. Maybe that day was sooner then he might think.
Micheal shook his head at Max's joke. Oh man.... Grabbing a pillow from the behind him, he sent it flying towards Max. Lucky for them if it broke anything, a quick use of his power would clear that right up. He'd used them before he could use them again. Max's home should have been relatively safe. Well anyway he was not expecting to hit anything but Max. Micheal had pretty dang good aim, he had to, it was part of his training. "Good thing you've never herd of it. If you had I'd have to kill you." Micheal said with a bit of a chuckle. Stupid Max, trying to be all funny and what not. He knew dang well he was not the funny one of the group. Shit, Kyle and Maria would take that role. Max had other shit to worry about. But yeah no, he could not be the funny one, he may try, but it would never ever happen.
A bottle was being tossed to him, and he just drove right into the story, a soon as the bottle landed in hie outstretched hand. Not bothering to pause or wait for Max to react. He just went all up in that story."Oh bro, I'm sure it her. She had to keep Maria from making too much of a scene... She almost killed me a few times. It was erm.... emotional for her." Micheal said with a shrug. "She works around her as a teacher. Right now she's at the elementary school doing something. I don't ask too many questions I just don't want to know." He said knowing what Max would be feeling right now. And then his phone began ringing loudly in his pocket. He pulled it out with a confused look. No one ever called him. This had to be really very important, if not Military shit, then Liz/Maria shit. And there Liz's name was. "Speak of the She-devil." He said shaking his head for a moment. Yeah he knew Max was dying inside. But Micheal wanted to watch him squirm a little bit. "What did I do now?" He asked the phone tightly pressed to his ear. Micheal had the volume of the phone way down, he was not a fan of people listening in on his phone call. But he began to turn it up a bit, so if Max really wanted to hear, he'd have to listen. Not like Micheal would not explain it all after the call.... but still... good times. Micheal liked having whatever power he had. Not that it was really power... But it was something.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Making sure she was still in sight of not only Zan but also the window in case his teacher happened to look out she dialed a number that she prayed would go through. They usually all changed pre-paid cell phone numbers quite often as to not leave a trail behind. This was the number he had given her a few days earlier so hopefully he hadn't changed it...though with Michael god only knows. Hearing Michael answer the phone with a What did I do now? made her want to jump through the phone and strangle him but she kept her cool. "We have a problem..." She told him, and waited to give him the opportunity to tell her that he was busy before she went on to telling her tale.
"Look, I'm not sure why this will come to a surprise to anyone but guess who lied...again!?" She asked with a hiss, not giving him an opportunity to respond as she knew that there was a chance that Zan could hear her. She knew that if she whispered he couldn't...but she knew that it would only cause suspicions if she sat there and whispered so she figured keeping the conversation fairly light (well, as light as it could be while discussing the matters that she was going to be discussing) was the best way to go.
"Remember when Tess told us that Kivar denied Zan as the heir on Antar because he was fully human...yeah not so much." She told him...and waited for his outburst. He didn't disappoint, though it wasn't exactly the outrage she had expected as she heard a Meaning what Liz?. Sighing she went on to explain. "Long story incredibly short as I have an impatient six year old…” Looking at her phone as she talked, she felt as if it sounded a bit echoey, almost as if someone put her on speaker phone but didn’t dwell on it, knowing that Michael would have never done that as it would put them all in way too much danger. Unless he was Maria and then that was fine either way. “An impatient six year old on my hands waiting for news on what I'm going to do next. Zan was adopted as we knew he would be thanks to his grandfather. Adopted father died, adopted mother went off the deep end when it happened. Zan has powers and is now stuck in an orphanage and has no idea how much danger he is in!" She told him softly though the change in her voice as she spoke about Zan was apparent to anyone who listened.
What are you talking about Liz? She heard him laughing and again, wished she had the power to strangle him through the phone. "What are you not understanding Michael? Max and Tess's son...you know...the heir to a god damned other planet...has fucking powers...powers that we didn't know about when Max gave him up. Think about how much danger this puts him in...not only from your enemies but from the FBI." She hissed before straightening up.
"You know what...never mind. You don't need to understand...you just need to meet me at my apartment in a couple of hours. I am here for a bit with my class and then I will meet you there. I'm bringing papers home to become foster parents...need you to take care of them. We are saying that we are married so figure out a way to look married and I'll meet you later? Okay. Bye." She told him before hanging up on him. Yeah, she might have had better luck if she would have tried to get Maria to pretend to be her lesbian lover...it wasn't the first time they had played that card.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -As the pillow began flying towards him he quickly threw up his free hand and put up a shield, his signature power. The green shield held strong obviously and the pillow hit it and slumped to the ground. Laughing at how simply…fun this was? Not fun but it was good to see Michael after it had been so long. The two of them had a certain bond unlike most people. They were best friends, brothers, whatever you wanted to call them. ”I’d dare you to try”
he said with a smirk. Of course he was taunting his brother, why wouldn’t he? After all it seemed to Max that they were picking up right where they had left off five years ago. Perfectly comfortable around each other once again as they had been but still constantly screwing with one another. Hearing that it was really Liz nearly forced him to have an epileptic moment or a heart attack at the very least. It seemed for a moment that he almost couldn’t breathe, or that he did stop breathing for that matter. How in the hell Michael was being so damned casual about all of this he honestly had no clue. It wasn’t anything Max felt that could be taken lightly. They were all here in the same town at the same time and something about that just didn’t seem right. ”I…I mean, how are we all here? At the same time? Doesn’t that seem weird to you?” Max asked questioningly, arching a brow at his brother. Even though he was definitely happy at the thought of possibly seeing Maria and especially Liz, he found it a bit strange that they were here. The F.B.I. had sent Max here but was it for the reason that he thought it was? Had they somehow found out who he was? Perhaps they’d found out his true identity and had brought him here in order to round up the others. Maybe they wanted them all in the same place so they could take them out at once. Well Max would be damned if he let his family get hurt. ”What about Isobel? Any sign of her?” the alien asked softly. If his sister was here as well then this was just going to be too damned weird. Her being here would only further prove that this was definitely no coincidence that they’d all been brought her for a reason. He was going to find out that reason even if it was the last thing he did. Before he had a chance to ask about Liz’s whereabouts she seemingly called Michael. In that moment he really wanted to rip the phone right out of Michael’s hand and talk to her, but he refrained. Was it best that they seen each other? He didn’t care. Standing up he left his chair behind and sat next to Michael so that he could hear their conversation. Just hearing her voice made tears well in his eyes those he pulled the reign back in quickly, not wanting to be made fun of by Michael. Not really because he cared but simply because he didn’t want to listen to him at the moment. At the mention of Zan, he felt himself froze. Continuing to listen he went to grab the phone from his brother but Liz had already hung up by then. Eyes as wide as possible and his jaw dropped, he looked to Michael. I’m going with you. I need to see Liz…and – my son…I need to see them” he said, obviously flustered. If his son was in trouble he would help him. Being away from his son broke his heart more and more every day, as it did being away from Liz. If it was truly his son and Liz was truly here, in town, there was nowhere else he would rather be. Michael was taking him with him whether he wanted to or not.[/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - -Tag: Michael/Anyone Word Count: 657 Outfit: Click here for Max's outfitNotes: This reunion is going to make me cry lol. "Oh just wait." Micheal said, now was not the time to get into a little tiff with his bro. No no, there were other things that needed to be talked about. The fighting would come later, the full on rolling around on the ground punching each other for no reason, yeah that would happen, it was part of Micheal's ritual. It went a little differently with Liz and Maria, but something would go down, Micheal would make sure of it. He'd leave that for later when Max needed a pick me up, and he had a feeling a pick me up would be needed soon. Or at some point today. When he woke up today he knew something was going to go down, somehow meeting Max here did not seem that big of an issue. The whole group seemed attracted to this tinny town or something.
"But that's the point. We are not here at the same time. Maria was passing thorough, so was I, but she stayed for Liz, and I Maria." He said with a bit of a shrug. It was all a weird sick joke. "I was at a stop light, I took off my helmet to look at a map, and Maria had a shit fit and threw herself in-front of my bike as the light changed. " Micheal added. He just figured it was the universes way of giving back to them, after all the shit they had gone through. It was their turn to be a little happy. Micheal went though hell and back, and having Maria here made it all worth it. Shit having Liz here, made Maria happy which made him happy. Now he got his brother back and he was not overrun by estrogen. Again, another way the universe was repaying him. Or that's who Micheal was dealing with it, if he looked at it any other way he might freak out a bit and leave. But for now, it was his time to be happy, the world owned him.
"So far no sign of Isabel or Kyle." He said with a shrug. It would be nice to have Isabel back, even Kyle. But all of them being here would be... weird. He'd be wigging out if the whole gang was here. They were still missing Isabel who was a huge part of the FBI investigation, so without her being here, they should be alright. If they really were getting them here like cattle...well that's impossible. Micheal never would have stopped if Maria had not almost gotten herself run over. He even tried leaving but she would not let him, and he was a whipped man. Dispute what he'll tell you. "I have not herd from them yet. So who knows where they are. But I can assure you they are not here." He added, as his phone rang. Yeah.... he would know if they were around. He was out just about everyday looking for something or another for Maria. So he'd know.
Well... shit. That was weird. Even as Liz called he got confused. What the fuck was going on? Zan was here? Was this her idea of a sick sick joke. She'd get her ass blasted if it was. He was already stressed out enough. Not knowing what to do he just put the thing on speaker phone. He'd let Max hear it, shit Micheal would only reiterate everything Liz said. So he should hear. So long as he kept his mouth shut, he did not want Liz to have a heart attack over the phone. But shit.... what was going on. He refused to believe this was real. It just can't be. Maybe Liz just had some kind of vision about Zan or something... but really... REALLY? He did not need this stress right now.
Micheal nodded his head. "I know." He said. Now was not the time to ride Max's ass. With the mention of Liz and his son... well he could remember a few years back when Tess had taken Zan back home. Max searched and searched for a way to see his kid again. So now that Zan was... in trouble, Micheal understood. He got it. He knew what Max had to come, he knew Max needed to handle this, and that's why he put it on speaker phone. That's why he let Max in on it, to hear all this. Micheal was far from the leader, and this was a Max thing. Micheal just looked at his phone. "Well shit." Micheal said not sure where to go from here. Well... they might as well head on over there. "I guess lets go." Micheal said looking at the snapple he had yet to touch. Ah well. He'd save it for later. "I'm driving. I'll get us there faster." Micheal added, he did have a bike so not only could he weave in and out of traffic, but he could really step on it. Anyway last time Max was on the back of his bike was Graduation. Just like good old times. Micheal stood up fishing in his pocket for his keys before walking to the door to leave for Liz's apartment.
