Watching Willow and Spike bicker was slightly entertaining. Though she wasn't involved in it much, it still made her want to chuckle. In all honesty she hadn't ever really seen red this feisty. Well, that was a lie. In fact Willow had once stood up to Faith. Which had gotten herself a smack down obviously, but that had been back when Faith was bad. Essentially Faith had kidnapped her and Willow had insulted her, told her she wasn't afraid of her. Faith hadn't believed her one bit.
However right now? Right now she was loving just how much Willow was standing up to Spike. Standing up to him for Buffy, who wasn't currently around to defend herself. Faith did finally pipe in when things seemed to simmer down a bit. "She just needs time. When she's ready, she'll tell us. Her and Angel's sex life isn't really what we need to be focusing on right now."
Just as the words flew out of her mouth, she wished she could reel them back in. Mentioning the two of them possibly having sex, although Buffy had already denied it, definitely wasn't going to help Spike calm down any. When Buffy returned to the room, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. Sometimes she couldn't seem to get her foot out of her mouth.
Faith's eyes slid to the ground as Buffy asked what they'd been talking about. Although she hadn't been gone all that long, it seemed like almost forever by the time she returned. So much conversation had passed that she'd almost forgotten that Buffy had been in the back room. Although she didn't know the full story of Spike and Buffy in the bathroom, it didn't seem good. As the blonde slayer's eyes flew to Spike, Faith's fell to the ground. For once this was one banter that she didn't want to interject herself into. For once, she just wanted to pretend like she wasn't there.
The obvious awkwardness in the room at that moment was nearly painful. Silence filled the room and then it seemed that everyone just ignored Buffy's question. No one wanted to bring it up, whatever it was, it was an awfully big elephant in the room at that moment. For some reason she wanted to know what had happened, but knew that when she finally found out that she would probably wish she hadn't. It had been something bad, that was obvious. Faith didn't know much about Spike and Buffy's history, other than the murmurs she'd heard in Sunnydale.
Some of the potentials had spread some rumors about the couple. Saying that Buffy sometimes slept with him, and that Spike slept in her bed. One potential even said she caught them making out once. Obviously, Faith knew they were just little girls and that they were exaggerating. But just from looking at the two of them she knew there had been some serious feelings there. Buffy seemed to be over it, but it didn't seem that Spike was. His pure rage tonight showed that he still cared. Which, was to be expected. However it seemed that he cared a bit more for her than just friends. Honestly, Faith couldn't blame him. For some reason Buffy tended to have that effect on vampires.
The slayer had been quite lost in her own thoughts, but it seemed like Buffy had been as well. Finally after a few moments of silence she admitted what they'd all already known. Just then she saw a certain defeated look in her fellow slayer's eyes. Although Buffy was an adult, at the time when she'd been with Angelus, she probably hadn't weighed the consequences. More than likely the two had been overcome with passion and hadn't thought much of it.
As soon as she saw tears well in the blonde's eyes, Faith knew shit was about to hit the fan. When they started to roll down her face and she burst out in tears, Faith noticed that Spike seemed to stiffen a bit. Surely he felt bad as if this was his fault. It partly was his fault, but more so it was Buffy's guilt. Faith wanted to reach out to her and at least touch her shoulder or some shit, but she knew she wasn't any good at that stuff. "B..."
she said with a distressed look, honestly and genuinely feeling bad for Buffy. After ll they'd been through they were finally on civil terms and deep down, Faith did care about her; looked up to her even. Hearing about how she felt drawn to Angelus, Faith couldn't help but find it a bit strange. Those two had always had an immortal kind of love but she'd never known that it carried over into Angelus as well. Faith had always just assumed that Angelus didn't care about anyone, besides his self of course. Her eyes slid to the side of her head as Spike made the comment about slayers. "Vampires and their 'bloody' love for slayers" she quipped back at him, mocking him as she said bloody. So this wasn't exactly the smartest idea. She liked Spike, they got along and were very similar. Now she was just pissing him off. However, it was more or less to take some of the heat off of Buffy. Having a bit of a plan was nice. Obviously Faith wasn't as ready to just stake Angelus as Spike was. She couldn't help but feel that Spike had a bit of a personal vendetta against him. Even if he didn't realize it Spike was definitely a bit jealous. In all honesty, Faith couldn't blame him. It was really hard not to be jealous of a love like that. In all honesty Faith hadn't ever really been in love. Sure she'd liked Robin and the sex had been great but past that there hadn't been too much. Basically her entire life she'd just hooked up, and feelings hadn't ever really been involved. She didn't think she'd ever really fall in love, but she was okay with that. As long as she got to kick ass she was fine with just about everything. As they formulated a plan and Buffy seemed to gather herself, Faith nodded. "What do you want me to do?" She figured she'd ask, though she didn't think she was needed other than babysitting the kid vamp. Then looking to Spike, she nodded again. "Yeah, probably shouldn't stay here too much longer" she added, liking the idea of a new place. Thank god they had the council to fund them, or else they'd all be living in a box. Buffy's salary wasn't near enough to support the entire group, and no one else worked. Now looking back to everyone, she felt relieved to finally have a plan ready to set in motion. "Who's going to deal with Angelus?...We need to get him tied up or something in order to do the spell, right?" Even though she already knew Buffy would be the one to do it, she hated the idea of it. Buffy alone with Angelus obviously wasn't a great idea. However, it was their best option at the moment. [/blockquote] Tag: Buffy, Spike, Willow Word Count: 1,229 Outfit: Click!Notes: Sorry this was a bit iffy..getting back into the swing of things after vaca.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -The blonde winced when Spike told Willow that she didn’t have it under control. Unfortunately it was the truth. She hadn’t been in control the entire time she had been in his presence. Granted, he hadn’t exactly been in control either, but that didn’t matter. As a slayer she should always have the control, always have the upper hand, when she lost either of those that’s usually when a slayer died and that wasn’t an option. She couldn’t let her friends down, couldn’t let Angel down, and couldn’t let herself down. She refused to allow anyone to pay for her mistakes other than herself, and unfortunately that meant standing up to her best friend who was only trying to stand up for her. “He’s right.” She whispered, though she wasn’t sure if anyone had heard her.
She ignored the remark about slayers and their death wishes, they had already had that conversation one too many times in the past and it would do no good to argue about it now. Especially since she really didn't want to argue about it in the first place. As much as she hated to admit it, especially about this particular thing, he was right. Every slayer had a death wish. Every slayer, especially ones who had fought for as long as she had, internally craved the day that they would be released from their duty, the day that they would be able to surrender the burden to someone else. She had known that happy oblivion and it hadn't been enough, and no matter what she said now, deep down she still craved it.
She seriously doubted that anyone wanted to hear her statement about that, though she knew that both Spike and Faith could understand to varying degrees, no matter how much they both protested. So instead of pissing everyone off even more than they already were, she ignored the comment, instead replying to his about loving Angelus. Though she did let out a snort, covering it up with a cough, when Faith threw back at Spike about his and Angel’s love for slayers. "That's not what he meant." she told him. "We didn't do much Spike. I swear we didn't have sex, nor did our clothing come off or anything of the sort. We were fighting, well, more like bantering because he pissed me off and so I did what I knew would piss him off even more, I kissed him." She told them, feeling some of the familiar fire back in her veins as she regained some of her self worth. "And before you give me that look let me explain. Angelus has always been one that loves to torture, both mentally and physically, which I know all of you are aware of. He however hates emotions, any emotions. He tries to be emotionless and that's his downfall. When he lost his soul after my seventeenth birthday we were taken over by these ghosts. We had to replay their final scene and in doing so we had to kiss. Even after the ghosts released us we stood there kissing for several moments before our brains caught up with us. Once he realized what was going on he shoved me away and bolted. He didn't fight, didn't banter, he straight bolted. Why?" She asked rhetorically.
“Because.” She stated, answering her own question. “He hates emotions. Somewhere deep down inside of him he loves me, Angel has told me as such and I figure he would know better than anyone. Whether it’s his soul that’s forcing him to feel that way or if it’s his screwed up demon self, I don’t know, however he hates that I make him feel things that he doesn’t want to feel, and I exploited that. Now clearly it didn’t go the way that I thought it would.” She stated, motioning to the bite on her neck and the bruises on her face. “However it was the only thing I could do at the time to catch him off guard. He’s stronger than Faith and I right now because of how much powerful blood he has ingested, so I used what I could. Yes it backfired but I didn’t go over there intending to make out with the demon who wears my lover’s face.” She explained, hoping it made even a tiny bit of sense.
"Yes, we are going to the apartment tonight, as soon as night falls. I want to make sure Kathy is somewhere safe. He would do god knows what to her and I refuse to let that happen. As soon as the sun sets we are out of here. I'm talking we are going to be waiting by the door and as soon as the sun sets we are booking it. We'll only probably have twenty minutes or so once it gets dark to get the hell out of here before he comes a ‘knocking and I don't want to be anywhere near here when he does." She told him, feeling immensely guilty for leaving the hotel staff alone but knowing that at this point in time, Kathy's safety came first. "Once I have you guys settled in I'll go back looking for him, though I'm not sure where he'll go after leaving here." She told them, not sure at all how Spike would take her wanting to go after him again.
She nodded at Willow’s statement about getting Angel’s soul back. “It’s not so much that Kathy needs her brother to lean on, she’s survived without him for over two hundred years. No, it’s the fact that if we don’t get him back, that means that the monster who killed her is running around and I don’t even want to think about what he could and would do to her. I called Julie and she’s rushing some ingredients that I know we need, but other than that I’m at a loss.” She told her, hating how out of the loop she was when it came to magic stuff.
The blonde sighed in relief when Faith stepped in, telling them that it wasn't the time to be talking about her and Angel's sex life. They hadn't truly had a sex life ever in retrospect but that wasn't the point and she was more than grateful that the brunette sensed her unease about talking about it. "We technically don't need him tied up, we just need to make sure that Angel is away from anything that could get him hurt once he gets his soul back. He's pretty out of it for the first few minutes after he gets it back really confused and usually drawing a blank memory wise...so if Angelus is pissing someone off and then we give Angel his soul back, that could be really dangerous for him. We also need to make sure we are somewhere that Willow won't be interrupted or else I'm not sure what will happen. I vote we do this during the day when Angelus can't escape if he starts to feel it. I don't think he felt it while we were fighting in front of Acathla but then again we were both a bit occupied." She told them before taking a cleansing breath, knowing none of them were going to like her idea.
"I'll deal with him. I can distract him a lot easier than anyone else can...and I think this simply proves it." She told them, waiting for the outburst that she was sure to come.

”You’d be surprised the types of games you can play with dead people,” Spike chose to retort to that particular part of Faith’s and Willow’s argument. It was easier and he could say it with confidence and a smug look, considering his own history with tormenting victims. It also meant that he could conveniently not say anything to Willow saying that Buffy would no longer confide in him. He was pretty sure that wasn’t true. Spike had said much worse things to her in the past and yet, he still was one of the people in her inner circle. But it kind of bothered him that it could be true. It was the same feeling that he had about what Faith brought up next—Angel and Buffy and sex. In his head, Spike could almost handle it, or at least thought he could. But his emotions just flared whenever someone mentioned it, and Faith casually bringing it up made the blond vampire chew on his bottom lip in an attempt to not say anything. Spike simply gave the dark-haired Slayer a skeptical sidelong glance when she mentioned the love that certain vampires had for her kind. It took a lot to not tell her that Yanks should never say ‘bloody’. It was just awful to hear that word in an American accent, and he was sure if any other Englishman had been in the room, they would have winced and disapproved just like Spike did. But further than that, he didn’t like that Faith would bring up his feelings that he had for Buffy. He didn’t even know what the hell he was thinking around her sometimes, so how could Faith know anything? Spike supposed that the other Slayer wouldn’t know how touchy the subject was for him, but it still made him bristle. And then Buffy misunderstood what he had meant by her loving Angelus. She seemed to take it as if it was all about the physical side of things. ”I’m not talking about the kissing or the… whatever the hell you did or didn’t do,” Spike asserted himself, and the spark of anger that he had doused just a second ago began to return in his voice, ”I’m talking about the looking out the window all longingly, ‘I can hear him call to me’ shtick. Right now, Angelus is in you, straight down to your bones. And that’s what he meant. Obsession. Which… I happen to know a thing or two about.” The last sentence came a bit under his breath. Spike knew that at least two people in the room would immediately think of the time when he had essentially stalked Buffy, but he had been completely fanatical with his love for Drusilla as well. That was his mode of operation when it came to love, ingrained in him from the day that he was born. As Buffy continued, Spike continued to listen intently. When she talked, the others heeded, even Spike. That’s the way it was. But the difference between the vampire and the other two listening was that while Willow and Faith probably took her explanations as creditable, Spike didn’t buy them. Yes, he did know that Angelus’ greatest fear was to feel love, and perhaps somewhere deep down inside he actually had a remnant of that emotion left over from Angel. Spike could clearly remember the aftermath of the whole Sadie Hawkins ghost fiasco—how Angelus had tried to literally scrub the feeling of love out of himself. His Grand-sire hadn’t imparted too much about the situation, but Spike had got the sense that the Slayer had made him feel something—with a kiss, as he now knew. But banter that turned into necking—Spike was sure that wasn’t love at all. If that were true, then he and Buffy would have made the perfect couple. But of course, that wasn’t the case back then, and it wasn’t the case here. And to have Buffy try to pass off trying to make Angelus feel love through making out with him as her reasoning for endangering her life infuriated the hell out of him. But he thought of Kathy, how he should remain calm for her, a point that was further enforced as Buffy began laying out the plan to get to the new apartment. Another wave of ire came as the blond slayer said that she would be going after Angelus again tonight. As if a shower had made her all well, as if she had actually come up with a plan or something intelligent to do about Angelus. Spike’s entire body buzzed with “NO” to that statement, and the dark glare he gave Buffy said just as much. Although his eyes shifted elsewhere as she discussed the magic bits. And then the Slayer said the worst thing she could have said. That she was the best choice to ‘distract’ him. That the love or passion or whatever they had was the best way to fight the soulless vampire. And Spike couldn’t agree less. Angelus’ weaknesses hardly factored into it for him; he just knew that Angelus and Buffy together maddened him and risking Buffy’s life again was unacceptable. Spike was on his feet again in a hurry and rounded on Buffy. He had tried to hold things back, but it was useless. It was clear that the calm he had barely achieved had disappeared. ”Are you bloody kidding me? Right in the middle of fighting him you thought ‘Hey, I’ll just snog him into submission’! What a brilliant tactic! Regular General Custer, you are!” He didn’t really care that he was more or less backtracking to a part of the conversation that had passed moments ago. Spike just had a lot to say, and since his anger was focused back into this, every thought and emotion he had attempted to squirrel away was ebbing out of him, “You could’ve done or said any number of things that would’ve got his guff and kept your neck away from his teeth. It wasn’t the only thing you could have done; it was the only thing you wanted to do!” Spike was now less than an arm’s length away from Buffy, not worrying about the decorum, what the others thought, even what was right or wrong, ”You’re trying to rationalize your stupid choices again, when under it all, it was just pure, brainless, desire. And now you think you’re just going to strut back there and let this happen all over again?”His hand clenched into a fist and with one fluid movement, he shifted his stance, drew back his arm and sent a right hook directly towards Buffy’s chin, all of his rage and a good deal of force behind it. In some kind of subversive way, he hoped the hit would just drop her to the ground, ”The hell you are!” The vampire snarled right after he retracted his fist, ”You’re all bloody wrong in the head right now, so if anyone’s gonna have a go with Angelus, it should be me.” Maybe if he was lucky, he could lightly tap her head into the wall a couple of times until she was unconscious and then maybe they could all have a discussion that made more sense than this one. Or maybe, since Buffy seemed to be getting her spirits back, this was the fight that Spike had been seeking and was denied all those times. Funny how these things happened. +++ TAGS: Willow, Faith, Buffy WORD COUNT: 1,221 NOTES: Just when you thought the drama was over...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow still didn’t know how she was going to find away, Buffy didn’t know this but Willow had all ready been searching for months and months now as is. So far nothing all she was able to do was just give him his soul back, she hadn’t found away to were it stays for good. If only she could find away to when she gives his soul back it sticks for good. Because other wise if Willow don’t, he is going to be losing his soul again left and right when ever he is with Kathy. And that wont be good at all for poor Kathy, even though she is a strong vamp she still is just a kid after all.
Willow didn’t know how she was going to do it but she had to think of something, she knew that maybe the best thing would be just to get Angel’s soul back first then work on making it stay. It wasn’t helping Willow to have to think of something fast, because magic isn’t something you rush. Other wise you could end up blowing something up or hurting someone in the process. Which is never a good thing ever, Willow would know from past experience.
It was killing poor Willow having to watch Buffy cry like this, and of course Spike didn’t care. All he cared about was going after Angelus and killing him, not even thinking about the fact that Angel is still in there somewhere. Somewhere in there was the person they have all learned to love. Even Faith was showing caring feeling towards Buffy and that not like her at all in the least, Faith is usually telling Buffy to man up. But it seemed as though even faith understood how upset Buffy was right now, and even seeing how hard Spike was being on her. Spike talked like they were in some kind of relationship or something, which they were far from. Spike wishes in his dreams.
Willow didn’t know how much more of this fighting she could take, she was about to send spike into next week for how he was talking to Buffy, or make Faith do something to him. Faith has done a pretty good job in the past of taking care of Spike, Willow still remembers the last time she sent him into next week beating the hell out of him. But Spike had good reason for beating up Faith, they were the ones that made Buffy leave her own house in the first place. When the whole time they were the ones that needed to leave, Willow will always be sorry for doing that to Buffy.
Willow finally was done with this fighting she couldn’t take it anymore, she don’t know how Kathy was sleeping threw all this. Willow was about to lose it at any moment, she had to say or do something. “Stop Guys please! stop all this fighting its not good for Kathy please she is trying to sleep. Stop before I make it stop. Please guys?” Said Willow. But still it was like she wasn’t even in the room. She looked over at Faith rolling her eyes not knowing what to do. She felt like the nerd in school again that no one pays any attention to, in less they needed math help.
But then Spike had punch Buffy in the face, Willow mouth was open from how shocked she was right now. Willow rushed over by Buffy side checking to see if she was all right. “Buffy are you all right? That looked like it hurt.” Willow knew that Buffy was ok she was the Slayer after all, but the fact her friend just hit her had to have hurt her in some way. Willow then looked to Spike and said “'Spike I liked it better when you had a chip in your head, at least than you couldn't hurt any of us! You have about five seconds to get away from Buffy before I make you feel like you have been punched in more then just your face.” Willow was so mad right now, she knew that someone might want to stop her before she did something really dumb. Although it seemed as if Buffy didn't want to be heard, Faith heard her admit to having been out of control. Spike had to have heard it as well being that with being a vampire came extra high senses. Whether or not Willow heard it, she had no clue. In the end though it was something that hadn't had to have been admitted by Buffy, they'd all already know she'd been out of control. In fact they'd known ever since she first walked through the door that very night. Her hair had been ruffled, clothes were in dismay and not to mention the bite marks on her. It was quite obvious that seemingly both of them had been out of control. If it'd gone much longer, Buffy probably would have been dead. She'd always been weak when it came to Angel.
It was quite obvious to not only her but probably everyone else that Spike didn't appreciate her comment about Buffy and Angelus having sex. In all honesty she'd known that they hadn't actually had sex. Simply she'd meant the making out, the whatever the hell else they'd been using. Calling it their sex life was just an umbrella to use for the situation at hand. However she seen Spike biting his bottom lip and her eyes went to his as a sort of lame apology. She was only stoking the fire and right now, it didn't need anymore stoking. Things were bad enough without her making them even worse.
At hearing Buffy's comments about what they'd done and not done, she simply stared at the blonde. For once she really did not under what the hell her point was. "Excuse me but what the hell is the difference? If he hadn't drank from you, it probably would have went that far. Don't even try to say that it wouldn't have" the brunette blurted out. She knew Buffy didn't need anyone else ganging up on her right now, but tough shit. She'd acted flat out stupid and had in turn risked all of their lives. Angelus knew that he had her now, not that he hadn't known that all along. He knew that she couldn't kill him because of Angel and that was the most dangerous part of this all.
Again her and Willow sat back, letting the two blondes hash it out between them. It seemed too...intimate to get in the middle of right now. However Faith had to agree with what Spike was saying. The whole 'calling to her' shit was kind of annoying actually. It was an excuse for what she'd done and there shouldn't be any excuse. The blonde slayer simply needed to own up to acting stupid. To making a dumb decision that put all of their lives in danger. If she couldn't admit that to them then she couldn't admit that to herself either and that, was her biggest downfall.
The brunette nodded to Buffy as she spoke of how the spell had to get done. For a moment, she took the time to think about where they should do it. Honestly they couldn't do it in an apartment or a hotel, too many people around that could become causalities. Just then, the perfect place hit her. "The old boarding house. We can trap him in the basement during the daytime. We won't have to worry about the sunlight down there, only if he tries to escape. We'll chain him up and Willow can prepare for the spell in one of the bedrooms."
She said this with quite a bit of leadership, surprising even herself. Finally she was glad to make one decision that actually made sense. Suddenly the conversation took a turn for the the worst. In one instant Buffy was telling them all of her retarded ass plan. She planned to "distract" Angelus (probably sexually again) and that she was going after him tonight. "Spike's right Buffy, are you insane? You're not even healed from today. Angelus still has YOUR blood in him, it'd be suicidal to go after him right now." Anger began to rise in her own voice at the end, growing angry as Spike was. She wasn't thinking clearly right now. No, she just wanted her Angel back. Well tough shit. People didn't always get things at the exact moment that they wanted them. She was rushing into things instead of taking the time to clearly and thoughtfully plan them out. Before she knew it, Spike had straight up decked Buffy. "What the fuck?" her eyes flew to Willow as she watched the punch connect with the blonde's chin. Things were beginning to get out of hand at the moment. A moment later she couldn't help but snort at Spike's comment to Buffy. "Yeah, you should definitely be the one to go after him. Last time that worked out so well for you." Last time he'd come up against his elder, he'd been staked in the stomach and left to suffer. The only reason Angelus had missed his heart was to leave him as a message. If he hadn't been so sadistic, Spike would have been dust blowing in the wind. Faith heard Willow's cries in the background. Heard her calling out for them to stop the fighting. However no one seemed to care and as Buffy reeled back from her hit, Spike only seemed as angry as ever. It seemed to her that one punch hadn't done it for him, that he needed a fight. Well she'd be damned if it was going to be Buffy. Buffy had already taken enough fucking hurt tonight and if she was going to go up against Angelus again, she surely didn't need anymore. Quickly she moved so that she was standing between Buffy, with Willow at her side, and Spike. Her eyes were drawn to his and she seen the darkness in them, the pure anger and rage within them. Her eyes didn't move from his once as she glared at him, a very serious look on her face. "You want a fight? You've got one baby" she told him, allowing no smirk to peel onto her face. Right now she was fucking sick of his shit and it wasn't amusing to her one bit. Briefly she turned around and she motioned for Willow to move Buffy out of the way. She hoped she'd take her to the bedroom, Faith didn't need Willow shooting fireballs around or any shit like that. Within only a moment, she rushed the blonde vampire. She wailed on him right a right hook aimed directly at his jaw. If he wanted a fight, he was getting one. Buffy didn't need anymore damage done to her while Faith, Faith was dying for a good rumble. She needed to wail on someone after she'd been so quickly defeated by Angelus. [/blockquote] Tag: Buffy, Spike, Willow Word Count: 1,179 Outfit: Click!Notes: ----
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -The blonde didn't comment on Spike's statement about playing games with dead people. Her eyes flashed to the scene she had walked into in the boarding house...the five girls positioned in her clothing, her jewelry, looking as if they were talking to her. It was the same as when Angelus had left Jenny Calendar in Giles' bed. He did it to play with the dead and to torture the living. He was sadistic in that way, and always had been. From what she had read (and what she had seen) Angelus was an artist at torture, and while it horrified her, she refused to say anything about it out loud. Not only would it terrify Willow, but it would also majorly piss Spike and Faith off and that was something she really needed to avoid at the moment. She knew that both of them against her could easily keep her down at the moment between the blood loss and the lack of food during the last day and she really needed to watch what she said and did.
She almost laughed at the almost glare that Spike shot Faith when she said bloody. It was actually quite comical to hear anyone who wasn't British say the word bloody in that particular way but she kept her mouth shut once more, not wanting to rattle the cages so to speak. She also had a feeling it had to do with Spike not wanting his feelings towards her to be brought up. Spike and her had talked long and hard over the past two years about his feelings and while he swore he was in love with her, she admitted to only loving him, but not in the way he had wanted. She loved Spike, she truly did, but he wasn’t her soul-mate and she had never been quiet about that fact. She still felt awful about leading him on, though he swore she didn’t…and bit her lip to keep from apologizing once gain.
She couldn't keep her mouth shut anymore. She listened as Spike berated her about what she had said earlier about Angelus calling to her. It didn’t help that Faith had stepped in and stated that if he hadn’t had bit her they would have most likely slept together, something that she couldn’t deny and wouldn’t even try. "You think I don't know that it's wrong!?" She asked him, glaring but refusing to stand up and rise to either of their bait. "You think I don't feel sickened by the fact that I let him get to me? Jesus he's gotten further under my skin now than he did when I was seventeen and I was a god damned baby back then! I know what he's capable of and yet I still let him get to me. I hate it and I hate what it's doing to me but I can't fucking help it Spike! You want to tell me how to push it away without driving a stake through his heart or slitting my own wrists, then feel fucking free! Otherwise don't sit there and act all high and mighty because you know that I fucked up!" She yelled, her eyes flashing.
She watched with heavy eyes as Spike jumped up, clearly extremely pissed off. She could see the ire in his face and for some reason what she had said previously seemed to finally settle into his brain and he snapped. Unfortunately this didn't bode well with her hot-headed temper either and she let him have it right back. "I'm not saying that desire wasn't a fucking part of it! You should remember that Spike! I did the same thing with you in case you've forgotten!" She stated, her anger impeding her usual common sense and in its place came out things she wished would have never been said. "I needed something and you gave it to me, the same as he did! That's what this is all about isn't it?!" She asked him, her eyes welling up in anger. "You're pissed because I went to him instead of taking it out with you once again!" She yelled.
Her eyes widened as she felt the sharp jab of Spike's fist against her chin. Her head jerked back and for a moment she thought she would fall, but she kept herself standing, turning back quicker than even she was prepared for and landed a back hand directly to his nose. "What the hell!?" She screamed, not caring at all about how much noise they were making. "I'm the damn slayer in case you've forgotten!" She told him, her body on instinct shifting into an offensive stance. "You've already gone after him once and it didn't do any good! None of us have done any damage to him but at least I kept him from killing anyone!" She yelled out. For some reason it didn’t occur to her that Faith and Willow were in the room, witnesses to their screaming match (and physical fight that seemed to be brewing rather quickly), it didn’t occur to her that Kathy was sleeping in the next room and would probably be frightened by the noise, nor did it occur to her that they were in a hotel making a damn bit of noise and would most likely have security banging on the door any minute. None of these thoughts entered her brain as she lost control of the situation (not that she had ever really had control of it in the first place).
She didn't hear Willow's call to stop fighting because it would scare Kathy, nor did she hear her ask if she was alright, her entire focus was on Spike and the fight that it seemed they both needed. They were both upset, both angry, and instead of talking about it like rational people, they needed to scream and rage and fight...it was simply put, the way they were.
Faith's voice broke her concentration on Spike for a brief moment as she agreed with Spike, something that whether she would admit it out loud or not pissed the blonde off. "It's suicidal for any of us to go after him right now but unfortunately someone has too. He has not only my blood, but your blood and several others in his system...but unfortunately I can't just let him walk around while we wait for it to pass. Someone has to go after him and I'm the one person that he'll think twice before killing. And no, I don't think it's because he's in love with me or anything of that grand notion." She stated, throwing a glare Spike's way. "It's because he's not finished fucking torturing me and we all know that. He had months to kill me when he was free the last time, having an all access pass to my house for several weeks before we found the spell to uninvite a vampire in...and yet all he did was play mind games. He's not finished playing yet...and that's the only reason I know he won’t finish me off." She told them, her anger clear as her voice cut through the room like steel.
She groaned loudly as she watched Spike step in between them before she could get her bearings together. She watched as she rushed him and wanted to scream in frustration. "NO!" She yelled, knowing that it would have no effect. She desperately wanted the fight, her blood was almost boiling for it, and yet Faith stepped in the middle and she could not see an opening to where she wouldn't hurt Faith. Granted her and Faith were fairly evenly matched so it's not like it would kill her or permanently hurt her, but she wasn't the one she wanted to fight. Her body trembled as she ached to take something out and before she knew what was happening her back was to the fight and she was walking quickly towards the door, thinking of nothing other than stopping the ache in her body that craved a fight.
”You little nit, you push it away because it’s right to!” Spike usually had very little idea on what was right or wrong, and this time was probably no exception. But it didn’t stop him from sharing his opinion, ”You do it so your baby sister doesn’t get her throat ripped out. You do it so you get your fluffy, fanged lover back. Admitting you botched your little scheme is just fine, but you don’t know your arse from your ears right now and you don’t have a way to stop the bloke!” The shouting match continued, and just as Faith had brought up his feelings, Buffy struck at their failed relationship—or non-relationship—or whatever you wanted to call that period of time. It should have made Spike angrier, fueled the hurt. But for a second, he froze in place. What she had just said, that was the first thing in this entire conversation that Spike could recognize as making perfect sense. So of course, he couldn’t think of a thing to say to it. All the angry vibrating in his mind was making it hard to and he had no idea if she was right. Yes, he would have rather had her come to him, but not in that manner. In fact, Spike wasn’t sure if he could give her that darkness anymore—sex between them would just be… incredibly awkward rather than that pure shame and anger. He couldn’t say that though. What was he going to say? What should he say? ”Well, I wouldn’t have tried to drain you!” Bollocks. That wasn’t what he should have said. He shook his head out a bit and looked back at the blond Slayer, his voice dropping to a fierce murmur that he hoped only Buffy would hear. The situation was already tender enough without bringing up the past between them, ”Listen. What I did kept you from offing yourself. And it’s done now. This—this is playing straight into Angelus’ hands. And it’s not the same.” And then, of course, all hell broke loose, and though he didn’t care about the other two girl’s reactions, he did register them. ”Came out better than you did, didn’t I?” Spike curled his lip with a sneer at Faith’s judgment, ”Don’t need to win. Just need to buy time. That’s all any of us would do.”With his focus shifted over to Faith for that moment, he wasn’t ready for the swipe Buffy made across his face, and his head followed the force of the blow, though he recovered fairly quickly. She hadn’t put her full strength into it, Spike guessed, since his nose remained unbroken. But it still had hurt. He turned back to the blond slayer, a shadowy glower across his face as he waited for her rage to build, as her words flew back at him. It kind of felt like an electric charge, like lightning was about to strike. Probably knowing this, Willow stepped in, berating all of them, but mostly Spike, which he supposed he deserved. ”Get out of here before you get hurt,” The vampire growled to Willow, noting that her warnings were being largely ignored and a full on fight was going to happen. Yes, he was sure she wouldn’t listen to him, but if she was out of commission, Angel’s soul wouldn’t be restored as quickly. And with the way he and Buffy were going to get, it seemed all too possible that a stray punch or flying object could clock the red-headed witch and leave them with no one to perform the ritual. He just hoped that she wouldn’t try any of her voodoo. Too many things could go wrong, particularly for Spike. A fistfight would be great, but catching on fire would be bad. He readied himself for another blow from Buffy, but suddenly Faith had set herself between them. In truth, he hadn’t really expected her to come to her fellow Slayer’s rescue, considering that she knew Buffy could handle herself, but it became pretty evident that both Slayers wanted a throw down, just something to funnel their pain and anger into, same as him. He gave a little defiant toss of his head to her challenge and as Faith rushed him, he saw her hook coming and raised his palm to intercept it. Spike did manage to catch it, but the sheer force was too much and it pressed the vampires’ hand all the way to his jaw, effectively just softening the blow. Bloody hell, he had nearly forgotten how strong Slayers could punch, and the sting in his hand was just about as painful as the blows he had deflected from Angelus. But at least his chin wasn’t going to bruise. ”You too?” Spike eyed the dark-haired Slayer with a cold stare for a split second before shifting his weight back to where he wanted it and used her caught fist to push her back, ”Fine. The both of you then,” He turned to where his other opponent had been, but she had somehow escaped all of them and was heading towards the exit, ”Buffy!” That one name was filled with anger, fear, but mostly the tone one used when they mean ‘get the hell back here, woman!’ and the blond vampire started after her, but stopped for one moment to hook the living room table on his ankle and then kick it into Faith’s path, who was at least going to come after him, if not Buffy as well. Hopefully the piece of furniture would trip the brunette up, even for a little bit. Spike barely broke his stride—although he was pretty much running after the retreating Slayer—and soon enough he had gained on her so that he could reach out and grab her arm and pulled her back away from the door. Using that same momentum, he used his other arm to fling her towards a wall, ”C’mon, you all can share me a bit, can’t you?” was all he needed to say to Buffy, a wicked little grin appearing on his face. As physically painful as it was probably going to be, this was much preferable to talking and whining. It was something that the three warriors understood more easily than discussion. The rush of the fight was coursing through him now, and in a strange way, it made Spike pleased. It was the best he had felt all day. He darted back towards her, and aimed a quick jab to her rib. Speed over power this time, since he figured the other slayer was going to be coming after him at any moment, not to mention that Buffy was no longer going to lie there like a toad. His eyes locked on the blond slayer, shining with that twisted inviting look, hungry for someone to continue the fight. +++ TAGS: Willow, Faith, Buffy WORD COUNT: 1145 NOTES: Everyone wants a piece of the action XD… They’re all violent little buggers.
atheryn 'Kathy' Anne O'Connor yawned. Her blue eyes opened blurrily and she looked around, not realizing where she was at first. It took her several moments before the memories came crashing back to her. Her brother, her beloved Angel, had once again been turned back into the monster he had been the night he had taken her life. Why did this happen?! Was it her fault?! Why did she lose him when she had just found him? Why did this always have to happen to them. Did she not deserve to be happy? Why couldn’t she just be left alone! Tears fell down the young girl’s cheeks, her arms wrapped around her legs as she sobbed into her knees. She had never felt smaller or younger than she did now and she hated it. She had really thought that she would finally have a family again. No, not just any family, her family. But noooooo, of course not. She had to lose the person who was more than a brother, he was her father in all ways except the name and she had lost him…this time maybe for good. She sniffled loudly, or at least it seemed loudly in the silent room and looked around, trying to find anyone she knew. She listened carefully and could hear mumbling from out in the living area. She couldn’t understand who was saying what but apparently there was something going on. She heard a loud ‘NO!’ and her eyes tightened in fear. Standing up and padding towards the door and opening it slowly, stopping before she even walked out as she took in the scene in front of her. She couldn’t believe her eyes as she watched silently as Spike hit Buffy, who then hit him back. Then the brown haired girl whose name she couldn’t remember got in the middle of it. Spike laughed at both of them and told them to both come at him. Buffy tried to run but didn’t make it very far before Spike grabbed her and threw her up against a wall. Usually she would run and hide, usually she would scream and cry. No, not this time. Well, at least not the whole time. Kathy ran, her black hello kitty tank top and red hello kitty pants showing her youth. Paired with her black long sleeve sweater she truly looked like the eleven year old she was forever to be. Her hair in pig tails completed the look and yet at that moment she looked like a vampire as well. Her vampire face was clear, her fangs had distended and her eyes were a yellow. "STOP!" She yelled as she ran in between the girls and Spike. "Stop fighting!" She told them, tears leaking out of her golden eyes. She couldn't take it anymore; she simply walked over to Spike and clung to him, whimpering as she pressed her face into his jacket. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow really was getting sick of all this fighting, Spike and Buffy were just yelling back and fourth back fourth. Willow was two seconds away from conjuring up a ring for them to fight it out, and a ring leader to go right along with it. There was no way this fight way letting up anything soon, it could be hours before this ended. Hell Angelus might be don’t with ending the world by the time they are done bickering, they might walk outside and there be nothing. But they wouldn’t know with how they yelling back a fourth.
It just seemed like they were just yelling about the same stuff over and over again, she really didn’t get what this was even solving. Then Willow felt something like someone else was with them, then a nose came from the other room. She wondered what the heck it even was, then all the sudden the cute little vamp had awoken up. She ran out of the room going towards Spike which had Willow really confused. Why was she hugging him? She didn’t know him or did she? Now the witch was really lost with all this, this whole thing had really gotten nuts. But Willow’s heart wanted to melt when she saw her crying into Spike’s jacket, but maybe that would help stop the fight that was going on right now. How could anyone resist how cute she was really. It was hard for anyone even for Spike.
Then as Willow was sitting there her cell begin to ring, she looked at the cell phone to see that it was Tara calling. Willow felt bad she forgot to tell Tara everything that was going on, she felt like a bad girlfriend at that moment. She knew that she needed to talk to her and let her know about Angelus, she might not want to leave her house or might need to do a spell to stay safe. Well got up making her way into the bathroom to talk to her, she didn’t even tell anyone were she was going, what was the point so much was going on they would even notice that Willow had left. "Hey Buffy I will be back I have to take this call its Tara" She said making her way to the motel bathroom. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Buffy felt Spike grab her arm and turned around to fight back but was stopped by a small voice screaming at them to stop. She looked down and was surprised to see the little girl who had made the sound was crying and yet her vampire visage was clear on her face. She was actually momentarily taken aback by the sight, not having seen Kathy in full game face yet. It saddened her to see, not because it was disturbing or anything, but because it really showed how Angelus had done to this poor child. Sure Darla was the one who turned her, but Angelus had ended her life.
It made the guilt she was feeling almost triple and she wanted nothing more than to run away from the room, not wanting to face Kathy or the guilt that was associated with her at the moment. She had essentially made out with Kathy’s murderer. The worst part of it was that she knew, deep down, that if Angelus hadn’t bitten her and essentially tried to drain her that it most likely would have gone further. No, that wasn’t the worst part, the worst part was that a part of her was disappointed that it hadn’t…she still wanted it…still wanted him.
She watched as Kathy went over to Spike and cried into his jacket, and her heart broke. The blonde slayer moved towards the two, though ignoring the elder vampire, not even acknowledging his presence at all as she went over to the small child, kneeling down in front of her. Her hand rose as she ran two soothing fingers over the ridges on the small face. “Shhhh. I’m sorry sweetheart. I didn’t mean to scare you. It’s okay, Spike and I will stop fighting.” She told her softly, running her fingers through the brown curls as she tried to soothe her. She turned her attention to Faith and mouthed a ‘thank you’ and an ‘I’m sorry’ as well, knowing her sister slayer would understand both.
Her eyes went up until she met Spike’s blue ones, giving him a look before mouthing silently that they would continue this later, knowing that they both still had a few things to say to one another. She leaned down, pressing a kiss to the brown curls before standing up, stretching out before noting the time. “Let’s get our stuff ready. We’ve got about 20 minutes before we need to get out of here.” She told them, trying to inject a bit of cheer into her voice but falling short.
She left the room then, walking towards the bedroom to grab her and Kathy’s stuff, ready to leave the hotel and head to the apartment.
Once there they could decide what to do.
