Madison Saxon looked at Willow when she asked about Gabriel. The young ginger prophet didn’t know how to answer the question. She didn’t know how Gabriel was nor did she really care. She let out a small sigh and she thought about what else Willow said. She also didn’t know why.
“Well, Gabriel faked his death. I don’t know how he is or why he didn’t want me to meet all of you though I think it has to do with the whole danger aspect. Not so much you guys, but more me, my past getting you guys.” Maddie said to Willow before shaking her head at what else Willow said. “no, he doesn’t hate any of you. Like I said my past can be a big handful.” Maddie finished, reassuring Willow.
Maddie looked at Buffy and she smiled. They were taking this better than she thought. Maybe that was another thing, understanding. Maddie appreciated the fact that they had offered to help. She would need it to, especially since Gabriel was still missing in action. She looked at Spike and gave a small laugh to his comment about him helping her out. It was true. She ran into him quite a few times, danger or no danger.
Maddie nodded to Buffy. So Buffy had already met Gabriel. That was weird. He never mentioned meeting her. It was really strange for Maddie to hear that. She was going to cut the angel now.
“yeah sounds like him. Beer and candy.” Maddie gave a small laugh. “he probably wouldn’t mention me. He isnt even supposed to know me.” Maddie then said to Buffy. It was true. She was originally Michael’s prophet. Michael was the one that was supposed to protect her but things just happened with Gabriel. He saved her life, and they became friends. She was surprised Michael even let it go.
“Gabriel isnt just any angel. He is posing as a Trickster, a demigod named Loki. that’s what Tricksters do, except they kill, or in Gabriel’s case dishes just deserts to teach a lesson. But he certainly trusts you guys enough to give you an angel blade. Its one of the only things that could kill an angel, in fact, I have Gabriel’s blade.” Maddie then said, trying to explain what Gabriel was up to… ish.
Madison looked at Buffy once more when she asked about why he wanted Maddie to stay away from them. “more like you away from me. Spike already knows this but my father is a demon. He is a powerful demon from hell who wants to kill me. Its not you guys its me.” Maddie said, looking down at her coffee.

~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~Willow was a bit in shock to hear that Buffy had known Gabriel, Willow had now idea they had met all though she did think it was funny Buffy had no idea he was an Angel. Oh could you not by the way the guys acted it almost seemed like he was so proud about it he loved talking about it, well either that or candy. “I didn’t know you met Gabriel Buffy that’s pretty cool, what was it you were talking about that he gave you. Wow he never gave me anything, all though I was kind of mean to him. I didn’t believe he was an Angel at first.” Willow said giggling. Willow then had heard Spike comment on Gabriel. “Yeah I don’t remember that in the book ether, and that would be something I would remember.”
Willow understood a bit better when Maddie had told her about Gabriel, it seemed as though he was having to fake his own death. Sadly it sounded like something he would do. Willow did really a agree with Maddie on one thing, the past can be a hand full, Willow still thinks about her dark past to this day and she may never forget it. Willow couldn’t forget even if she wanted to, all though Willow doesn’t want to. She dissevers to know what she did and how bad it was, that way she will never want to go that far again.
Then Willow’s phone begin to go off from a text, it was Tara telling Willow that she needed her. It seemed as though someone didn’t want to go back to Rome. Just great Willow though to herself, just what Buffy was going to love to hear. Willow knew she might want to get home and setting things down before Buffy gets there. She was not going to be happy to hear what Dawn has decided. She texted Tara back letting her know that she was coming home to her. Willow then got up out of chair and said to everyone. “Hey guys sorry I have to go Tara needs me, it was great to see you Maddie. bye guys.” Willow walked out making her way back to her baby in hopes of calming down Dawnie.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She laughed a bit when both Maddie and Willow acted surprised when she stated that she knew Gabriel. Sure it was something that she hadn’t been open about but it had really never come up. Ever since they had arrived in Richmond it had been one thing right after the other. First it was the simple task of finding the potentials, then they were greeted by police officers (and civilians) walking around shooting guns with wooden bullets, then there was all the vampires, then there was the whole Angelus thing (which she was still trying to avoid dealing with) and now she finds out that she has a prophet that’s attuned to her life? Yeah, things never did quite settle down long enough for her to inform Willow that she had met an angel (which was still weird for her to admit to begin with).
However that wasn’t the only reason she hadn’t brought it up with Willow. To be honest Willow and her had avoided talking about anything related to death or heaven or anything regarding it ever since the red head found out that she had pulled her best friend out of heaven when she had died. Buffy had forgiven the witch, though not forgetting it entirely, and they had moved on in order to deal with things that had come up afterward. However that didn’t mean they sat around talking about it. The blonde would admit to no one but herself that she still had a lot of resentment towards the redhead for bringing her back from heaven, but it wasn’t something she would ever admit out loud.
Before she could say anything she noted that Willow had started talking. She quirked her eyebrow as Willow seemed to make a quick getaway and turned to look at Spike. Before she could ask if he knew what was going on she herself got a text. It was a simple text...but the words infuriated her. I'm not going to Rome. Five words from her sister, and her anger had gone over the top. She stood up, her chair scraping against the floor. "I have to go...beat the crap out of my sister. Sorry." She stated, completely flustered. She pulled out a card and handed it to Maddie. "Call me soon and we'll talk again." She told her distractedly before waving to Spike and the prophet and walked out the door.
