----------------------- ----------------------- Klaus loved how she playing along. Even if she did hate which he had no doubt in the world that she did, it didn't matter. She had decided to be entertaining and at least she was good at it. He could tell they had been sitting here for awhile and it was a good job that the grill didn't close until midnight. Otherwise they would have to leave soon which was definitely something that he had no intention of doing. Pouring himself another drink he took a mouthful but didn't finish the glass quite. "Of love, you name it."
He could tell the alcohol was giving him a small buzz, he had after all nearly gone through the entire bottle at this point. He laughed a little when she said she wanted to stay in this small town. "Yes I guess I could see the allure to staying here" He was of course building his own mansion here in Mystic Falls. Not that anyone knew that yet apart from his hybrids and his sister. She was the one decorating it after all. Caroline was obviously thinking over what she had just said. There was only so long once could stay in one place. Being slightly older he had a smaller advantage but Caroline was still young yet, meaning she would have to move on as soon as she could. Maybe another three to four years here before people started to notice that she wasn't ageing. It had been hard for Niklaus at first as well but he learnt never to stay in the same place for very long, instead it made it impossible for others to find him, even his own family. Klaus knew that he had said was correct and therefore ensuring that that she was contridicting herself. For a werewolf to trigger the curse they would have to kill someone. Would that be classed as something evil or not? She said it through clenched teeth meaning he knew that he had won that argument. "So that makes ALL werewolves evil as well does it not?" He said it with an alluring smile. Her next comment however put them back to sqaure one. He shook his head slightly. "Now, slave is a very harsh word Caroline. I used to own slaves back in the day. I think of the hybrids more as my family" It was true. He loved that he was no longer the only one. He wasn't the species that no one knew about. Niklaus couldn't help his laughter that rose up inside of when her comment made him think of something else entirely. At least he knew in which direction her mind had traveled to. It was fairly obvious, espcially with the alcohol no doubt increasing her already sped up libedo. "Yes well one could say that couldn't they? Your company is very alluring love" He said it with his flirtacious smile. He just couldn't help himself. It had been awhile since he had been flirted with especially as he had been on the move for such a long time. Maybe now he would finally find someone to have fun with that wasn't just killing and feeding. Maybe Stefan the ripper hadn't been as much fun as anticipated compared to this. When she kissed him back so passionatly and yet enthusiastically he couldn't help but respond. But they were also in the middle of the grill with everyone watching. He had no doubt she would be the one who would be embarrased and not himself. Even if she compelled enough people, some of them were going to remember this. Good little Caroline kissing not only someone much older than her, literally but someone they didn't recognise yet. SHe pulled away from him for the moment and the smouldering look within his eyes told her all that she needed to know. There was however a small teasing smile upon his lips that he just couldn't resist. She was tempting more than blood would be right now. When Caroline pulled him up off hte chair she was dragging him outside. He finished his drink first and put some money on the table. Not enough to cover both the bottle but it was something at least. He could compel them later on to make them think he had payed off the tab in the first place. He willingly followed her out the back towards an ally. It was slightly dark and elimnated only by one light at the far end, they would both be able to see well enough. About to come out with one of his comments she told him not to talk. Obviously didn't want a reminder of who he was and who she was actually kissing. More like who actually got her drunk. This night and made an unexpected twist that he hadn't anticipated. She pulled him forward by his shirt and he moved willing. Pressing their lips together one hand whent to her lower back the other back in her hair on the back of her neck. Entwining his fingers through her golden hair. She wanted this to be completely physical that much he could tell, well that was something he could deal with. She pushed herself against him and pinned her to the wall behind her. His kisses moved down to her neck, he could almost feel the vampire side of him coming out, apart from the fact that his eyes would glow yellow because of his erewolf gene. He reined it in though and changed direction pressing his lips back to hers. He could feel how rough it was getting but he held himself back although it would take a lot to hurt her. Caroline simply nodded to him as he commented on the allure of Mystic Falls. In all honesty she’d been kind of lost in her thoughts. She knew she shouldn’t be there, that she should have left a long time ago. In all honesty she didn’t think Klaus would try too hard to stop her. Although it didn’t seem he’d want her to leave, it didn’t seem like he’d forcefully keep her there either. For some odd reason he seemed to like her a bit, she couldn’t figure out why. She’d never done anything remotely nice to him or even really talked to him. They hadn’t had much interaction unless it was bad interaction, so it surprised her to see him showing interest in her.
On the other hand it was also a complete slap to the face of all her friends. Klaus had done nothing but make all of their lives miserable since he’d come here. In fact he’d come here and purposely tried to do such. Not only this but he’d also killed several people, including Elena’s aunt Jenna. All in all she knew that if they seen her with them they’d freak, and with reason. However even knowing this she simply couldn’t pull herself away. She couldn’t force herself to just stand up and walk outside. No, she was drawn to him as well though she wasn’t too sure why. After all he’d never really done anything for her to want to be around him. Yet she was still standing her instead of leaving, which puzzled even herself.
Caroline’s eyes narrowed in on his as he tried to force her into contradicting herself. As always he was trying yet again to make her feel stupid. Why did he do that to people? He was just so condescending at times that it was near impossible to truly listen to him. ”No. Sometimes – sometimes it’s an accident. Tyler’s had been an accident. It doesn’t always make them evil” she told him, defending them because Tyler had done the same thing. As always her thoughts traveled back to him, they usually did. Plus she was kind of having withdrawals not having seen him in so long. He’d been out of town for about a month now and it seemed like an eternity to the young girl.
So now her words were the harsh ones? What an interesting turn of events, considering that she was sitting here talking to Klaus. ”Family? I really hope that’s not how you treat your family. Although I really wouldn’t doubt it at the same time” she then added solemnly. He didn’t seem like a kind of family guy, especially if you took into consideration that he’d daggered his entire family. Yeah, definitely not a family guy. Hey at least he had one though, daggered or not that was one thing he had going for him. It was about the only thing he had going for him though.
Once they were outside all bets were off the table. He had her pinned up against the wall, though she’d pulled him into this position and therefore didn’t mind. She had to admit that even for an evil asshole he had a kind of sex appeal to him. It seemed for a moment that he was going to allow his inner vampire to come out to play, but held it back. Must be nice for him. Caroline however was a young vampire still and found it difficult to control herself. As he continued to kiss her neck, she allowed her vampiric eyes to come out. Feeling the veins underneath her eyes come out too, she felt a tad bit embarrassed. However she continued to let him kiss her nonetheless, enjoying every moment of it from a purely physical place.
She’d let the alcohol take control of her and wasn’t thinking about it any longer, she was simply acting on it. She gripped him even harder by the shirt, urging him to continue moving his lips against her skin. It made every part and molecule of her tingle when he did such. Her bodice pressed even further into his, urging for the feel of his against hers. Finally when she could take it no longer, she pulled his face back up to hers. She began kissing him again furiously, her tongue barging in past his lips, begging for entrance. It was wrong and she knew that but for the moment, she didn’t care. She had suffered enough and no longer wanted to play by the rules, not for tonight at least.
Suddenly she heard a door open to the side of them, peeling herself away from Klaus she looked to see Matt standing there, watching the two of them kissing furiously. She had no clue how long he’d been standing here. Her eyes widened as she looked at him, seeing the obvious disappointment on his face. ”Care?” he asked confusedly. His eyes were even wider than hers, which she hadn’t thought to be possible. Immediately her face returned to normal, human features coming back into play. She pushed past Klaus, looking into Matty’s eyes as she stood before him. Her lips parted as if she was going to say something but no words come out. She simply couldn’t deal with this, not right now.
Before he had the chance to say anything else, she was gone. She ran as fast as she could (which was pretty damned fast) away from the Grill. By the time she stopped running she was sitting on her bed at home, her face in her hands, ashamed at what she’d done. She hadn’t been paying attention however to see if Klaus had followed her. Luckily if he had, her mother at least wasn’t currently home. As she sat there she felt tears streaking down her face, her heart racing.
Klaus 974 I'll add lataaa. He can have followed her if you want, or we can close the thread. I'm fine either way sweets.
