- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -It was official, something really weird was going on at this school. So far she had felt at least three vampires, one of which was extremely powerful. She could tell one of them was fairly newer, just by the way her senses were tingling, while there other was was older, most likely older than Angel, but not as old as the extremely powerful one. She tried to hone her senses and immediately came across a group where all three vampires were located in. It was weird as the two female vampires were in dresses just like the rest of the students and faculty and seemed to have no problems with dealing with being around large amounts of people.
She tried to listen to what they were saying but couldn’t hear over the massive amounts of people standing around, so instead she looked around and saw a few teachers lingering around. She walked over and introduced herself. “Hi, I’m Buffy Summers. I’m the new guidance counselor over in Richmond. I’m a bit lost as to who everyone is…can you help me?” She asked, hoping that she sounded less suspicious than she thought she did. She noticed an older woman smile at her and she smiled back. Sure dear. If you have any questions let me know. The blonde slayer nodded and pointed over to the large group of people that included the three vampires. “Some of them look like students, some look like teachers. Which are which?” She asked with a laugh, hoping again that she didn’t sound as ridiculous as she felt.
She noticed her best friend heading towards her and she motioned over, waiting until she arrived before turning her attention back to the older woman who had introduced herself as Mrs. Kanes, the freshman government teacher. The younger blonde one is Caroline Forbes. She was named Miss Mystic Falls last year and was in charge of the decorations for this most likely. The one standing next to her is Elena Gilbert, such a tragic story. She lost both her parents in a car accident a little over a year ago. The brunette boy over there is her younger brother Jeremy Gilbert. The one standing next to Jeremy is Bonnie Bennett. Those four are all students. The older blonde girl I’m not sure of her name but she’s a chaperone, and apparently close friends with the two Gilberts. As for the gentleman standing near them, he looks familiar but I can’t place him…though I assume he’s a chaperone. Buffy thanked the woman before grabbing Willow’s hand and dragging her away.
“Okay, so we need to keep a lookout. There are at least three vampires here.” She told her quietly. “So keep a look out. The young blonde over there. The older blonde who looks about our age, and the older guy who looks really out of place. All three vampires.” She told her, motioning to the group.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow could tell there was something up with this school, it seemed all the strange thing going on in the town was also at the school. It seems a lot like Sunnyvale high, that was a red flag for Willow right there. Which meant this place could not be good at all, she knew Buffy could sense it too just by the way she was acting. But Willow was just going to do what they always do and make the best of it, and if anyone gets in there way take them down. It was just like the good old days, Willow was going to love this dance. Willow noticed as Buffy was introducing herself to all the teachers at the school, It seemed like all the teachers were nice. But they were Probably oblivious to what was really going here at the school. But that’s how the Sunnydale teachers were, except for Ms. Calendar. She was so cool and was good at what she did with magic, she was part of the reason Willow loves magic so much now. Oh how Willow wishes she was around, there so much she wises she could tell her. Willow then made her way over to Buffy while drinking her punch. “Man Buffy this stuff is really good you got to have some before the night is over.” Said Willow Willow was right about what was going on at this school from what Buffy was telling her, she knew this place was crawling with them. Willow looked as Buffy pointed to were they were. “ I knew it I could just feel that something wasn’t right here, on top of that it reminds me a lot of Sunnydale high here which is not good. Ok Buffy I will keep en eye out, you be careful we don’t know what these crazy vampires are going to do tonight.” Said Willow. She was sure Buffy she could handle herself, but Willow still worries about her. She was her friend and she couldn’t imagine life with out her. “So Buffy what next here, we just act like everything is ok and mingle with them? Or are you planning on killing them later?” Willow asked. Word Count- 370 Tagged- All is welcome Outfit-Click to see Willow's Dress!Note- I know this post sucks sorry ~~~~~~~~~~~
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Elena noticed as they walked in that Lexi’s attention was on a blonde girl who was talking to a few of the teachers. She could see the concentration on Lexi’s face and wondered if she was trying to listen in on the conversation. Most likely she could hear what they were saying but with the crowd this size and the fact that Lexi didn’t know what the girl sounded like, it would most likely be harder to try and figure out the conversation that was going on. She nudged Lexi in the ribs a bit to try and get her attention but it almost seemed as if she didn’t feel it because she paid no attention to it at all.
Elena rolled her eyes before turning her attention back to the rest of the group, successfully ignoring the blonde vampire now. She heard Elijah’s statement about being there because of Klaus. “Klaus compelled Stefan to turn off his humanity and then compelled him to protect me. So don’t be surprised if he shows up later. He’s under Klaus’ control so whatever Stefan sees assume it gets back to Klaus. If you don’t want Klaus to know you’re back then you may want to leave.” She told him, smiling gently at him. She had always liked Elijah as he was a man of honor and she respected that about him.
Her eyes widened when Elijah walked over to the blonde girl she had been looking at earlier with familiarity. “Does anyone know who the blonde and red head are?” She asked her friends, though really it was only Caroline who was standing near her anymore since Lexi had walked off sometime while she had been talking to Elijah and Bonnie and Jeremy were off dancing. Yeah, this dance was not at all one of the more fun ones she had been too…but she really couldn’t say no to Caroline who had asked her to come. “Being dateless sucks.” She stated with a pout, knowing she looked ridiculous but not caring.
Elena turned her attention back to the blonde and red head and was surprised when the two looked over at her group. “Uh…is it me or are they staring at us?” She asked Caroline, her voice low as to not draw attention to them but at the same time loud enough to where the blonde vampire by her side could hear her.
---------------------- ---------------------- The place was packed it seemed like everyone in the town of mystic falls had come tonight, there wasn’t really in empty place in the house tonight. But maybe that was good thing more people less likely something bad could happen. All though that has never stopped anyone before why would it now. Jeremy look around to see if he could see Stefan anywhere that was the last person he wanted his sister to see right now, even though she might want to him Jeremy just wanted her to have fun with her friends tonight. Elena needed a bit of fun in her life lately, she has suffered way to much.
Bonnie had wanted Jeremy to dance with her, he really wasn’t much of a dancer. Probably because of the shear fact he couldn’t dance, or lest he don’t thin he can dance. “Yeah Bonnie I will dance with you but I must warn you, I don’t do it very well at all. So you are going to have to help me.” Jeremy said with a smile. He though the truth was Jeremy was fine at dancing, at lest that’s what other girls had told him, he just didn’t think much of it when he did dance. He put out his hand to Bonnie’s to lead her out on to the dance floor. “Shall we my lady.” Jeremy asked her. “Ok Elena I will be back after this dance.” Before Jeremy walked away he had heard his sister say something about the Blond and Red head that were looking over at them, he knew that he should keep an eye out as well.
Jeremy had led Bonnie out on the dance floor holding her close to him, he love getting to dance with Bonnie tonight. All though he loved getting to do anything with her, there was just something about Bonnie that Jeremy loved that he had never felt with any other girl before. To Bonnie he had matter to her more then he ever has to anyone else that was for sure, and to Jeremy that meant the world. He then looked into Bonnie’s eyes and asked while dancing, “so are you having a good time tonight?”
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Alright, she now remembered why she tended to avoid certain people. She tended to get bored extremely easily and these so called chaperones were worse than most. She was shocked to learn that most adults who worked in the school system (whether were teachers, administration staff or janitorial staff) were just as bad if not worse, as the high school students that they were supposed to be teaching. They were horrible gossips and the worst part about it was they weren’t gossiping about their colleagues, no, they were gossiping about the students themselves. It was fairly ridiculous but unfortunately she wanted to give Elena and her friends a bit of a break from her so she had to stay put.
She listened as the women (and two men) stood around yammering on about unfamiliar names. However her ears perked up when she heard a few names she recognized. Caroline Forbes and Tyler Lockwood were looking extremely close but then he disappeared again. How his mother handles him. First her husband dies and then her son keeps leaving without saying anything? I’d disown him!
Lexi was floored at what those around her were saying, but it was the men’s conversation that caught her attention even more so. I heard from Zack that Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore were seen a few weeks ago having a major blow out. Not sure what happened as if I had to bet on anyone marrying their high school sweethearts it would be them. Apparently it got pretty heated. When Alaric, you know, Mr. Saltzman? Yeah when he went over to break it up apparently the Salvatore kid pushed him into a locker. Lexi groaned. Yeah, she definitely had to do something about Stefan and soon. This had gone on for long enough and if teachers were noticing his erratic behavior it didn’t bode well.
Lexi sighed as she noted that the blonde girl was watching her and excused herself, walking over to the blonde and red-head. “Hey.” She stated with a friendly smile. “I’m Lexi. I’m a chaperone too who knows only a handful of people…you look like you’re in the same boat as me. Thought we could talk. Please save me from the gossip king and queens over there.” She stated with a friendly laugh, hoping she could put the girl at ease while also trying to figure out what exactly both these girls was. She assumed that the red head was a witch being that she got the same feeling (albeit stronger) around her than she got from Bonnie…but the blonde girl was a conundrum…one that she really wanted to figure out.
------------------------------Bonnie wished she could slap Stefan in the face and make him wake up. She wanted him to be who he was before. She wanted Elena to be happy and have a good time at the dance. Usually Elena went with Stefan and they would dance and have a great time. That was long gone though and Bonnie hated it. She wanted her friend to be happy again. She wanted the old Stefan back, the one who saved her life countless times. She sighed hating that Elena wasn’t happy. She looked off to the distance and noticed a blond haired woman and red head staring at their group. Bonnie thought that was weird and looked away. Those thoughts went away quickly as Jeremy talked about taking her out onto the dance floor. Bonnie smiled at Jeremy and said Don’t worry Jeremy I am sure you are great and that you won’t need any help. I am sure you are perfect at dancing. She nodded and said Yeah I am ready she said smiling as he took her out onto the dance floor and they started dancing together. She didn’t know how she got so lucky with Jeremy Gilbert. She never thought she would ever say or think those words but something just happened. She never believed she would like something happening between them but she did. This had totally taken her by surprise and she didn’t care one bit. She enjoyed spending time with Jeremy and enjoyed looking at him. Since that amazing wonderful day when both their minds and eyes just clicked Bonnie found Jeremy very handsome. Yes she thought he was good looking before but never thought of him like that. It was just insane to her before to think of him like that because well he was Elena’s younger brother. Bonnie couldn’t help but keep smiling. Dancing with Jeremy was amazing. She had danced with him at the 80’s dance before things had got all hectic. She wrapped her arms around his neck as they danced close together. She decided to say something about the two staring at all of them when he asked her if she was having a good time. She nodded still smiling and said Yeah I am having a great time Jer. Mainly because I am here with you. She bit her lower lip and took a chance wondering if he had noticed. Jeremy I don’t want to alarm you but those two older women, the blond and red head, kept staring at use before we came out here and now they are staring at Elena and Caroline. I don’t like it she said as she kept dancing making sure the blond and red headed women didn’t see her concern on her face. They might want to come over and see what was wrong and they would have to think of something quick. [/blockquote] ---------------
So many people had come to the dance tonight. Then again, people almost always did. One knew that if you lived in Mystic Falls you were bound to go to about a hundred dances before the age of eighteen. It seemed that Caroline was constantly planning something. She had just finished and executed the dance tonight and already, she was thinking about planning the carnival in her head. The carnival was another tradition of Mystic Falls high school, one that she loved. Who didn't like cotton candy and pointless, impossible games?
Now that she was a vampire, she heard everything. Since literally every girl in the building was wearing heels, she could hear the constant click clacking of them walking. Most people wouldn't notice it, but it was loud to her. Trying to block it out she turned back to look at her friends surrounding her. "She's right, Stefan is almost guaranteed to make an appearance. I'm surprised he isn't here yet"
she said to both Elena and Elijah. He seemed to be a lot older than her, which was obvious since he was an original. Old or not he was kind of....hot. You know, for an old man and all. As she looked to him after talking, she couldn't help but check him out a bit.
Of course this made her feel really bad, as she missed Tyler still. This was a Valentine's day ball, and she was without her boyfriend. Well now she supposed he was her ex-boyfriend anyways. Nonetheless, she missed him immensely. Seeing all the lovey dovey couples around made her heart ache. She had known it would be the same way for Elena, which is why she'd invited her as Caroline's date.
Hearing Elena's comment about the two women, Caroline looked to see who they were. "The blonde is Buffy Summers, shes a new counselor her. I'm not sure about the red head..I think she just came with Buffy. Shes nice, but there's definitely something up with her. She looks at me funny" she said, explaining. Caroline had noticed Buffy looking at her more than once. It was odd but it was almost like she knew what she was. However, Caroline had seen her during the daytime wearing no jewelry. Therefore, she doubted she was a vampire as well. The woman was definitely strange, there was just something off about her. A small laugh erupted from the blonde, hearing Elena speak about being without a date. "Hey! I thought I was your date," she said with a fake pout. It was true though, Elena's comment. Caroline would have given anything to have Tyler here for her. Stefan would probably make an appearance, though that wasn't necessarily a good thing. Not lately anyways. Her friend's next words were barely above a whisper, though of course, being a vampire, Caroline could hear her. "It's not just you. I've caught Miss Summers staring at me on more than one occasion." Sooner or later, Caroline was going to have to get to the bottom of this woman. It bothered her knowing that she watched her all the time, no matter how nice she was. Now that Bonnie and Jeremy had gone off to dance alone, it was just Elena and Caroline. She had gone through hell to plan this dance and she was going to freaking dance. "Listen, I love you Elena but, I think it'd be weird if we slow danced. That being said, I need to find someone to dance with and take my mind off of Tyler. Any suggestions?" As she said this last line, she quirked up an eyebrow at her friend. Looking around at everyone there, she didn't really see anyone fitting to dance with. Elijah crossed her mind but being that he was an original, she knew that probably wasn't a good idea. She just wanted to let loose and have a little bit of fun for once.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Buffy laughed a bit at her best friend’s question. “I don’t plan on killing anyone unless they force my hand.” She stated with a smile. She knew that she wasn’t the usual type of slayer. If Kendra had been around (or even Faith for that matter), they would have lured the vampires out and immediately started slaying. She however thought about things a bit differently. She had always been like that, but it had been even more so ever since she had met Angel, and then gotten to know Spike. She knew there were vampires out there who wanted nothing more than to live their lives. Granted, there weren’t many of them, but she knew there were a few.
“For one thing, I really don’t want to make a scene in a town where it seems like way too many people know about vampires.” She stated with a wince. “Also I really don’t want to kill people in my dress, I’d be really upset if something happened to it.” She added with a pout, knowing her best friend would know she was fifty percent serious and fifty percent joking. Yes, she was odd, but that was what made her special…or at least that’s what she had been told.
“I don’t think anyone’s in any real danger as far as I can tell as it seems like the teachers know at least one of the vampires, but still, keep an eye on them. If you see anyone going outside with one of them, let me know.” She stated before clamping her mouth shut as one of the blonde vampires started heading towards her. “I’m Buffy, this is Willow.” She introduced herself back to the blonde vampire who had introduced herself as Lexi. “Yeah, I’m actually a counselor at a school in Richmond but apparently they were low on chaperones and being that I’m the new kid on the playground I got volunteered.” She stated with a laugh.
“Have you noticed too that the teachers around here are worse than the students when it comes to gossiping?” She asked with a roll of the eyes. “And I thought that kids were bad when I was in high school. Granted that was a few years ago but still.” She stated before rolling her eyes. “Okay, I’m not going to lie. I know what you are…and I’m not going to hurt you as long as you don’t force my hand. If you can keep your fangs to yourself, we’ll get along fine.” She stated with a smile, letting the girl know she wasn’t in any danger from her as long as she didn’t see any blood.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow knew that came out a lot worse then she wanted it too, but sometimes Willow never really knew what Buffy was going to do next. Buffy was right though with all these people it wouldn’t be smart at all, not a very good way to start a dance. “Yeah we shouldn’t really make a scene here, plus I’m kind of liking this dance it fun and nifty. And I wouldn’t want you to mess that dress up ether, its really cute Buff I really like it. “ Willow said with a smile. Willow really was liking this dance, it reminded her a lot of the prom they went to in high school. Those were days Willow will never forget, she loved getting to go with Oz. At the time they were so much in love with each other, Willow will never forget Oz even though they didn’t work out. Willow couldn’t help it her heart was meant to be with someone else. But She Will always love him and miss him, even now she wonders were he is and what he is doing . It seemed they were ok Buffy didn’t feel they were in any danger at all, which was good they just needed to keep a close eye out. “Ok I will let you know if I see anyone make there way outside, and if I cant find you don’t worry I will make sure everything is a ok.” Not long after that one of the blond vampires had made there way over to them, oh this couldn’t be good Willow though to herself. “Hi Lexi nice to meet you.” Willow said putting out her hand to shake hers. Willow listened as Buffy was trying to be friendly to her, but it wasn’t long that Buffy let her know that she know what she was. Willow though it was funny how Buffy was very blunt with her, she just hoped it didn’t cause any trouble for them. Not long after that Willow want to try and cheer up and change the conversation, she didn’t want this to be awkward the whole time for them. “So have you had any of the punch yet? it is amazing!” said Willow Word Count- 375 Tagged- All is welcome Outfit-Click to see Willow's Dress!Note- I know this post sucks sorry ~~~~~~~~~~~

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She was surprised when Lexi walked away but at the same time it really didn’t surprise her when she walked up to random strangers and started speaking with them as if they were the best of friends. Lexi from the little that she really knew her wasn’t one who you could call shy. She was fairly blunt when it came to pretty much anything and if she wanted you to know something she didn’t beat around the bush, no, she told you upfront how it was. It was something that Elena had learned the first time (other than the time she had run into her in a towel) that they had actually spoken and something she had admired about her since that day.
Caroline broke through her thoughts with a comment about being her date and she laughed a bit. “Oh I’m sorry…I didn’t know I was your date. Just letting you know I won’t go home with you unless you buy me dinner first.” She stated with a laugh, winking, knowing she probably looked like a weird duck or something trying to wink but doing it anyway. Her laugh was cut short when Caroline mentioned that the blonde girl looked at her funny then motioned to Lexi. “Looks like Lexi is having the same reaction.” She stated, watching the other blonde vampire walk over to where the supposed Buffy Summers, the new counselor and red headed girl with her were standing. “Sure Care, go, I’ll be fine.” She stated to her friend’s obvious need to try and get over the whole Tyler issue. She knew it was killing Caroline, knowing what Klaus had done to Tyler and how Tyler was actually happy about it, but it didn’t make it any easier to deal with.
She sighed as she watched Caroline walk off and for a moment thought about going to join Lexi, but was quickly interrupted by Sean, a guy that was friend’s with Matt back when her and Matt were together. Hey Elena, want to dance? He asked her. Sean had always been a nice guy and where she thought about declining instead she smiled at him. “Sure.” She stated and took his hand that he had offered and let him lead her out onto the dance floor. Sean had always had a crush on her as Matt used to tell her constantly as a joke, but she couldn’t help wonder if he was right.
As she stood on the dance floor, being rocked back and forth to a slow song that she knew but couldn’t for the live of her place, she realized how entirely wrong this felt. She knew at that moment that the old Elena, the one that had wanted normal and safe, was completely dead. It saddened her to realize that the Elena that she had been, had actually died in the car accident with her parents that night, and she felt as if she had betrayed her. Elena shook her head and took a deep breath, calming herself.
One dance with a normal guy wasn’t going to kill her. She was just glad that Stefan or Damon was around to see it. Damon would most likely go off and pout about it. Stefan would just be an ass about it.
God why did her life have to be so complicated?

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Lexi’s eyes widened as she heard the blonde’s comment about knowing what she was. “Alright, I’m not sure how you know as I’m careful and don’t worry, I won’t hurt anyone. I’m here for a specific reason and that’s to help a friend of mine calm his ass back down and come back on the straight and narrow. Unfortunately there are a lot of people around as I’m sure you have deduced that know about vampires around here so this being a largely public venue isn’t the best place to talk about this…but I do want to talk about it.” She stated, noting the people around them that were watching the conversation with very apt fascination.
“Can we meet somewhere maybe tomorrow?” She asked, praying that the blonde girl would agree to it. Luckily she nodded her head and Lexi pulled out her cell phone. “What’s your number?” She asked and quickly added it into her phone directory under B. Summers before putting it back in her clutch that she had never sat down. “Alright, I have to go. I need to get a few people out of here as it seems there’s going to be trouble tonight and I can’t handle it.” She stated before motioning behind her to a few vampires who were trying to make their way inside. “Do you need me to stay and help?” She asked and got a ‘no’ in response before nodding. “Alright, I’ll text or call you tomorrow.” She told her before walking over and grabbing Elena’s arm. “We need to go.” She told her before doing the same to Jeremy, Bonnie and Caroline.
“Alright, night’s over. Those of you who drove, drive home. Those of you who are coming with us let’s go. Elena we’ll get your car tomorrow, same with you Jer. We need to go. I don’t know if those were hybrids or vampires but either way I don’t want us anywhere near them.” She stated with a groan. She quickly lead the group towards her car and got in, waiting for those coming with her to get in. “let’s get out of here; I’ve had about all the love I can take for one night.” She stated before gunning the engine, heading back to the Gilbert house.
